[ OOC: hi folks :] wanted to swing by with a post abt blogs and such

i kinda struggle to manage lore that. happens outside of my blog thru multiple sources due to the fact my inbox tends to stay Busy™️.

in regards to people wanting to join in with canon blogs, i want to be polite when i say that it's .. gunna stress me out further. :(

nobody's fault, i am kinda picky w my lore (despite being about 85% accurate i Guess) and naturally bad at managing external sources and blogs, and having more other blogs popping up tends to make me worry about discrepancies with details and external plots and developments that i haven't "approved" of myself. it's why i keep to my own blog often as well </3 makes it a hell of a lot easier to manage things

from this point forward, i'm gunna have to (sadly) shut the door on people making More canon blogs for my blog— you can still send in cool anons, ofc :3 thats far easier !!! the actual dsmp failed to communicate and i do Nawt want that happening here (even on a far smaller scale LMAO)

i'm swamped with tryna write q as best as possible yet currently a bit too busy worrying to Actually write. so unless ive really set up stuff w you, i'll probably stick to my own anons / already set up blogs 2 interact with and such for the most part. big big sorry!! (feel free 2 ask for clarification on this btw)

Summary: What happens when the brightest star in a binary system ceases to exist? 

It's no secret that Kuran Yuuki was the apple of Kuran Kaname's eye. But few truly realised the depths of darkness he would plunge into for her. Even fewer saw the madman behind that intricately made mask of sanity.

Note: I really wanted to explore a world where Yuuki dies (especially since I like her so much haha) before the whole parent metal furnace incident but it ended up more like a story about grief and mourning. Mostly because I was influenced by Miyashita Yuu's cover of "Condolences, and Then Life Goes On". It's a very sombre but beautiful cover. I feel like a world where Yuuki dies first would affect the vampires greatly, especially since she was so integral in many of his decisions.

"Kana—me…" It's a minor miracle that she can even speak as clearly as now—the wounds she’d sustained would’ve been enough to immediately kill a lesser vampire. Even now, Yuuki struggles to breathe; each breath coming out in raspy, short intervals. She knows there is no saving for her, and Yuuki thinks that, from his slightly trembling hands to the anguish in his eyes (Those eyes which had always, always been gentle and kind to her), Kaname knows it too.

batterie as a ship is so nuanced to me. like. i dont really ship it but also i love them. but only in specific scenarios. its like... crack treated seriously in my brain forever and always. i want nothing to do with them canonically. i would not ever want them to be canon that would suck and be so bad and reductive and out of character. however i also love the idea of putting these two little freaks of nature in an image together and going "what if they were roommates"
