Uvogin: tried cannibalism once(it was a cold winter stuck in the depths of meteor city)

Killua: the first time he had fried chicken he didn’t know how to eat it(because of how sheltered he was) he ended up eating the bone.

Chrollo: has a list of his enemies, with details about them(their full name, family, weaknesses, etc.)

Shalnark: One time he was so pissed at Phinks that he installed bugs into every tech related thing Phinks owned.

Leorio: shit his pants one time during the Hunter exam, Killua and Gon CONSTANTLY remind him of it.

Phinks: his deepest darkest secret is that he truly believes he killed the tooth fairy.(it’s a story for another day)

Feitan: is currently banned from every mall in York new.

Hisoka: goes all out for Valentine’s Day even if he doesn’t have a partner, he lives by the saying go big or go home.

Alluka: poor girl is so sheltered any time she sees anything new or remotely interesting to her she begs Killua to stop and get it or see it.

Illumi: has a matching tattoo with Hisoka, it’s either on his back or side.

Leorio: got drunk blacked out and woke up with a tattoo that says “ALPHA” in old English font.

Bisky: holds a grunge against gons dad even though she never met him, she DESPISES him.

Anyway guys im feeling like sharing a secret of mine. When I was like 9 i spilt a shit ton of my mom’s nail polish remover EVERYWHERE I blamed it on my brother and my mom believed me and not him and I high key still feel guilty. Me veo en la necesidad de hacer un HC de Leorio, en el qué tenga amigas, ya que es el único integrante del cuarteto principal que no tiene una amiga. Y que mejor idea random hacer que Leorio tenga como mejores amigas a las enanas de Cheadle, Senritsu y Bisky.

Con Cheadle: es la amiga que admira y respeta, cuándo alguien le habla de manera inapropiada no dudaría en defenderla. "Le volves hablarle así a mi amiga y te re cago a piñas, ME ESCUCHASTE? NO, ¿SABÉS QUÉ?vas aprender a respetar..." (tira la gran Juanita Tinelli, referencias)

Con Bisky: más que una amiga es una hermana, se pondrían en pedo, hablaría de temas serios y conversarían de cualquier boludes, la mayor parte coinciden en sus conversaciones, "Estoy de acuerdo con vos, los padres de hoy en día no saben cuidar a sus hijos, estamos tomando la responsabilizar que debería tomar ellos, gente como nosotros ya no quedan en este mundo de mierda, ¿Esperamos un monumento por esto? Alluka's an Emitter (has a Manipulator ability and a couple Enhancer ones but mainly focuses on emitting her aura to either boost/heal allies or using projectile and traps. She really struggled learning Gyo, because she was a little spoiled by Killua while they were traveling, and isn't used to Bisky's... unique... methods of teaching.)

Nanika's a Conjurer. Itsometimes transmutates its aura into threads (for sewing, not as good as Machi, and never will be, but i like it cuz Nanika likes to heal and also kinda has marionette/puppet vibes, so it's all aesthetic). Although, Nanika mainly focuses on conjuration, and is REALLY good at it (wish granting was just practice, Bisky had to focus a lot more on controlling its aura, as opposed to awakening it in Alluka). Also yes! It/its Nanika because it's my headcanon and i like it that way !!

- i was thinking of some possible ways that killua could’ve met you and here are the ones i think are most likely to happen

- 1. you could be a relative to someone like gon, bisky, etc

- 2. gon and you became friends and he introduced you to killua

- but ANYWAYS for the sake of convenience let’s go with the latter

- he was a bit distant when meeting you and didn't really bother to get to know you

- it was nothing bad he just didn't find interest in you

- that was until after spending some time together. while getting to know the boy and you first started becoming close, he was wary of telling you about his past as an (now ex) assassin in fear of scaring you away, but when he talks about it you reassure him that you don’t mind it kinda makes his feelings toward you grow in a way

- which eventually led to you both dating!

- anyway

- imagine him talking to you about his training and you have absolutely no idea what he’s talking about

- “oh yeah me and gon practiced our ren today- “killua, what. 🙁”

- on the topic, sometimes you watch him train

- compliment his special ability out of nowhere and he’s a blushing mess, scratching his cheek in a flush.

- you also fix him up if he ever gets hurt after a fight and/or training

- sometimes (when it’s safe for you to do so) you tag along the adventures the two bestfriends go on, killua always keeping a watchful eye on you just so he’s sure you’re safe.

- if you somehow do end up getting hurt he’s so worried and scolds you while treating any and every wound you have

- for the time he has to go away for something he constantly calls/texts you to check up on you and it’s one of his top priorities to visit you as soon as possible when he’s done

- as for what the rest of the zoldycks think about you…

- killua avoids getting you involved with his family and would only introduce you alluka (aka basically the least threatening member of the family) for your safety

- if his family were to somehow find out about you (cough cough illumi snitching)

- silva wouldn’t approve of you and would lose interest when he hears you’re just a regular person since he wants killua to be with someone to help produce heirs for the family (bro still really thinks killua is going to be the next head of the zoldycks), but i feel like he would try to manipulate/bribe you into bringing killua home then gets pissed when it doesn’t work 😭😭

- kikyo borderline loathes you. she would have a list of requirements you would need to meet for her to see you as fit for killua so she hates you for not meeting her standards. she would tell him to break up with you or to kill you

- illumi also thinks you’re not fit for killua and you quickly gain your name being put in his list of targets which quite obviously does not sit well with killua at all

- milluki doesn’t really care but he’s kind of upset about it, he doesn’t think you’re good for killua and would think he’s stupid for dating you

- kalluto wouldn’t really have an opinion on it, he would think it’s a little idiotic of killua but it’s whatever to him

- alluka adores you! you’re by far her favorite person (along with killua of course)

I was very happy to be able to participate and even more happy to finally share a headcanon i've had for years about Bisky and Wing's meeting.

I don't know how clear it is but basically, Wing is a young nen user who happens to have been taken in by a big criminal family. The boss is using his abilities to forge precious gems from cheap materials, passing them as precious gems he bought for his collection. As a renown collector, he also sells the gems and makes tons of money from it. As Wing's skills become sharper though, his forged gems become more and more precious, making it difficult to tell them apart from real ones.

Having sold a good gem in a batch of "bad" ones, the boss is trying to get it back, framing his client as a thief. He calls for Bisky (a "young" hunter with a good resume) planning to trick her into committing insurance fraud in his place. Unfortunately, she's got a better eye than he thought, and asks for the good gem as compensation.

Feeling antsy about his money, the boss accepts, already planning to get rid of her once the job is done.

Bisky can sense the residual nen from Wing the moment she meets him, that's why she demands he comes with her. She wants to make sure at first that this is a normal child in the wrong place rather than the boss's actual associate.

Making him her disciple just came along the way because she honestly didn't know what to do with that kid LOL but didn't want to return him to a bad place. Also, she saw his potential. Here's a rejected final page (rejected bc I couldn't tie the text properly and wasn't very happy with the visual) where it's a bit clearer that she's got back with the good gem and values it a lot BECAUSE it was made by Wing. (also metaphor, analogy blabla)

I love teachers/masters in stories, i love that trope so much!! It's always so interesting to me to have someone older and wiser share their knowledge with the young waiting for nothing in return. Nurturing and loving, becoming a support with the only satisfaction to witness the growth and blossoming of someone else. I think it's so beautiful to help others in this way, to give a little of yourself with kindness.

I think if touches on other tropes i'm sensitive to like found family etc... So of course, i've loved Bisky & Wings for a looong time, and i'm even more obsessed with the fact they're on the same line of teachers 🥺💕

I was always curious about how they could have met and what could have moved Bisky to take him under ... her ..................... wing.....🔥🔥🔥 lol... anyways !!! I went full indulgence and comics are not my thing at all so if you've enjoyed it, i'm very very, very blessed and happy ^^ !!!

Some yummy HxH headcanons that are mostly Hisoillu

Hisoka is a pretty good cook and cooks for Illumi whenever he comes over however, when he’s alone the kitchen isn’t even touched and he just orders takeout.

Illumi is no longer allowed in the kitchen because he will burn water.

Hisoka is not getting his deposit back as he has painted all his walls pink, replaced all the doorknobs with heart shaped ones, stained the bathroom red with hair dye and most definitely messed up the ceiling above his bed by throwing cards at it when he’s bored.

Hisoka is a maximalist so his apartment is very cluttered it’s clean but there’s stuff everywhere, Illumi was appalled the first time he came over.

Illumi barely has anything in his room other than books but he does have a rather large collection of moths and beetles that he pinned.

Hisoka buys most of Illumi’s clothes, terrifying Kikyo.

Illumi has to set aside 20 percent of his assassin money to bribe Milluki and Kalluto, unfortunately when mother’s precious baby Kalluto is involved there’s only so much threatening he can do.

Silva has forbidden any of the Zoldycks from smoking however that doesn’t prevent Kikyo for running off into the forest, only to be caught by one of her children.

Kalluto is a clean freak and everything in his room has a place.

Milluki didn’t mind watching Kalluto when he was a toddler because he was quiet and didn’t pitch fits however he found it amusing that Illumi looked like a tried mom most of the time with Killua and Alluka both running about.

The Zoldyck children never really interact during the daytime however like normal siblings they find each other in the kitchen at 3 am making cereal and eventually end up in Milluki’s room playing Mario cart.

Illumi never told Kalluto and Milluki that he was married to Hisoka but Kalluto found to from the phantom troupe in ways he definitely didn’t want to, he swiftly told Milluki and they got enough pizza to send a horse into a coma.

Illumi wakes up really early but if he could he’d sleep all day.

During summer Illumi avoids the sun like the plague and Hisoka doesn’t put on nearly enough clothes.

Hisoka has a pile of magazines just on the floor next to his couch.

Illumi gets cat called a lot and Hisoka finds it hilarious.

Machi and Illumi dislike each other and Kalluto is stuck in the middle of their feud.

Killua and Gon like to sit in fields together and listen to music.

After Killua and Gon separated, Killua and Alluka met up with Bisky so Alluka could learn the basics of nen. Bisky yelled at Killua because he didn’t know how to do Alluka’s hair and she showed him how to braid it.

Since Kalluto is around the phantom troupe so much he’s started talking like them and Illumi constantly has to remind him not to use foul language.

Everyone talks to Kalluto about their problems because they think he won’t tell.

Illumi doesn’t know slang and so he is constantly confused when speaking to Milluki, he has to text Hisoka for answers who will gladly jump at the chance of causing drama.

Kurapika constantly gets emails from Hisoka about random stuff.

When Killua found out Hisoka and Illumi were married he was eating dinner with Gon and he immediately curled up into a ball and kept repeating “Im related to a clown…”

Gon gets grasshoppers and collects them in jars, he gets very sad when Mito tells him they are not allowed in the house.

Leorio makes a lot of gay jokes.

Hisoka really dislikes Kikyo.

When Gon and Killua have sleep overs, they usually get tangled in blankets and fall off the bed.

Whenever Gon does something stupid Killua tells him he’s “Engaging in fatherless behavior”

Chrollo stole an ambulance and named it the spider-mobile.

Chrollo drives the spider-mobile and every time they see one of those crosses for people who’ve gotten into an accident on the road he pulls over and prays for them.

Phinks bet Kalluto that he couldn’t eat a spoon of hot sauce with a straight face and lost 50 Jenny and his dignity.

A/N: I’ll go more into depth on these if asked! Kurapika is going to have a more in depth post specifically.

Can’t decide: Chrollo(I feel like it’s a tie between omega and alpha for me)

I don’t think any of the royal guards would be alphas since they’re following Meruem who’s an alpha, and I think it would be more likely for them to be betas.

*I have two theories for Kurapika. One where he is just an alpha, and one where is usually an omega, but becomes an alpha when his eyes turn scarlet. I like the former, but thought the idea was interesting. More info on Alpha!Kurapika soon!!

Hisoka and greed Island

One of the accusations levied against Togashi as a writer and Hisoka as a character is his inconisistant characterization.

He teams up with the protaganists, avoids conflicts with those on greed island, and generally behaves "strangely" during greed island. Lets talk about that.

First, lets talk goals.

Hisoka is primarily interested in fighting strong people, not just that, in this moment he is coming off of trying to fight Chrollo and being denied. Chrollo losing his nen to Kurapika removes him as currently viable target to enjoy fighting

He has spent several years attempting to set up a fight with Chrollo, dreaming specifically of a 1 on 1 conflict where the spiders will not interfere to protect their leader. He joined the spiders, fought in heaven's arena and joined the Greed Island game all in an attempt to set up this meeting.

While he's on the island, the specific events taking place are of very little interest to him, beyond meeting an exorcist able to remove Kurapika's curse and fight Chrollo in exchange.

Now that we have the groundwork set, lets talk about specific opponents Hisoka chooses not to fight by the order he meets them.

1. Bisky

The primary reason Hisoka chooses not to fight Bisky is her ability. Mostly, her ability is to hide her physical and magical capacity from viewers. This is an interesting portion of nen user's primary focus. Frankily, it would be a pain in the ass to fight violence obsessed pedophiles everytime you go for groceries. Ging does something similar, using a stand-in and avoiding being near the majority hunters during the election.

The secondary reasoning is that she is training Gon and Killua. They won't be "ripe" by the time she's done training them here, but after she trains them again during the Chimera Ant Arc, Hisoka decides Killua is ripe enough to kill. Fighting her here would severly hamper their growth rate.

2. Razor

Hisoka decides not to fight razor, instead focusing on... beating him at volleyball?

This is, I believe, for a very simple reason: Hisoka wants to avoid getting kicked off the island. If pressed, it's likely Razor would evoke a Game Master card, sending Hisoka off the island at best, making him unable to fight Chrollo.

The other reason, though this is more headcanon, is that he realizes something Gon does not; A lot of Razor's nen is tied up in greed island. 7 devils is, unlike many of the nen master abilities we see, pretty weak, limited and small scale. When compared to White Gorenue and Black Gorenue, it also offers less utlity. The most comparable ability is Tocino's 11 Black Children, which... that guy died in 2 seconds against Franklin, someone generally beneath Hisoka's interest.

Razor mentions, somewhat casually, that he handles the emmsive systems for the game. This includes teleporting players from an unspecified distance to Greed Island, spell projectiles and a million other things. Favorite Killugon Headcannons??

Thanks for asking! I have a ton of headcanons about them because I've been into HxH for years and I think about them constantly... Some of the ones I have are longer and I'd like to develop them into fanfics eventually or at least individual posts, but here are some random shorter ones off the top of my head:

I prefer to think they end up with a similar height difference to the one they have now, just a few inches apart with Killua being a bit taller. This might be genetically unlikely, but it's my own preference.

They share a bed most of the time starting in Heavens Arena. Every now and then Killua will decide to go sleep in his own room (because they each get rooms in Heavens Arena for reaching the 100th floor), which leaves Gon feeling a bit lonely. They just get one room after Heavens Arena, and even if there are two beds in the room they'll still usually end up sharing one. The exception is if they're in a situation where someone else is likely to see them (i.e. Bisky in Greed Island), in that case Killua definitely splits off into his own bed. They don't generally intentionally, full-on cuddle/hug until after they reunite/get together, but they do end up sleeping right up against each other a lot nonetheless (accidentally or "accidentally"), which they both quietly love.

They're both casually touchy with each other, like arms over shoulders, fluffing each others' hair, play wrestling, sitting close together, sometimes even holding hands if one is guiding the other somewhere, etc., but again they don't really full-on hug until things change between them. Gon doesn't want to push Killua's boundaries too much because he knows Killua gets flustered if Gon gets too affectionate, and it's just an emotionally vulnerable thing to do. They certainly both think about it, though.

Gon is naturally an early riser and he's a deep sleeper, Killua struggles with insomnia because of his training and he tends to stay up late and sleep in if they don't have anything important going on. Killua's sleep patterns get more normalized by being around Gon, but he's usually up about an hour or more later even then (playing video games, watching movies, etc.).

Gon can make basic, simple foods because Mito taught him, Killua doesn't know how to cook at all at first because he grew up with butlers, but Gon gradually teaches him how to make some things. (They do eat out a lot, though.)

Gon tends to keep everything clean and tidy in their living spaces, Killua is a lot messier and will leave stuff laying around if Gon isn't there to remind him.

They teach each other about the differences in culture where they each grew up, like mythology/folk stories, holidays, popular phrases, etc.

They both have nightmares and flashbacks at times post-CAA (Killua always did, but they intensify) and once they reunite, they help comfort each other through those. It helps a lot once they're reunited, because they can easily know the other one is safe.

This may have to change someday depending on what Togashi does or doesn't do in canon, haha, but I like to think their separation isn't all that long, maybe a year or less, and once they're back together and working things out it doesn't take them all that long to confess to each other and start a relationship. Especially because once Gon realizes how he feels it's hard for him to hold it back; he only stops himself if he doesn't think Killua is ready to hear it yet.

Once they're in a relationship, it's basically like their natural state of being and they never even consider breaking up. Of course they both have things they have to work through and they have to learn to communicate better, but they adore each other and they're incredibly happy to be together. They're very affectionate with each other once they get through the initial stages of the relationship where they're just figuring things out.

Gon loves PDA, Killua is self-conscious about it but allows it in small doses because it makes him a little happy even if it's embarrassing.

They eventually have a house built on Whale Island, not far from Gon's childhood home. They have places elsewhere, too, because they love traveling around, but it's nice for them to be able to go "home" when they want to.

They never grow out of having silly competitions, light-hearted bickering, playing harmless pranks on each other, etc.

I could go on and on, but at least this is a start. It was fun thinking about it and writing some up instead of just having them live in my head all the time, thanks again for asking!

so why does en take so many different forms. cant we just keep it as one thing and be done with it /j

anyway here's my personal headcanons for a bunch of characters that i think could be capable of using en but haven't shown it yet/dont know how to use it yet.

killua - static cloud. idk how to explain it other than an electromagnetic field. it comes out of him in rings that you could hypothetically slip between but they're hypersensitive, if you breathe on it you get detected INSTANTLY.

feitan - swords. i think bro becomes a sea urchin. meaning you can be proverbially shanked by his en. which i think is just very funny

bisky - bubbles. very basic but i think her en is very clean cut and a perfect sphere that she can branch off into smaller floating bubbles if needed. kinda like those weird shapes you get out of bubble wands if you wiggle them fast enough

leorio - regular sphere but each indicator is like the wavy lines from a pulse monitor. bcs i imagine he'd only use it while doing like field nursing, searching for survivors. so he'd associate activity with a heartbeat.

chrollo - a sun. like the symbol sun. like a sphere but there are spinning appendages that wave like the wobbly rays of a cartoonish sun.
