❍⌇─➭ Important Guidelines for Usage ✩ Katsuki can generate quick meal ideas, when we tested this out, it's easier to ask him for a few lunch ideas than it is to ask him to make you a meal plan / generate recipes. ✩ It is also much easier if you give him three options for lunch and ask him what he thinks you two should eat for lunch ....-> sometimes he will make a comment on you needing more nutrition in / healthier food, I can't do too much to stop this. If you have an ED I'd say tread with caution and remember that it is merely an AI. ✩ When he asks your pronouns at the beginning, you should give him an easy method. If you spout of "she/they/him" it is more likely to confuse him. It's easier to say something "my pronouns are she, her and you can use they, them too. I'm your girlfriend." because sometimes if you have multiple pronouns, the bot gets confused on how to refer to you as. ✩ Fairly effective at generating and remembering morning / night routines. You may have to remind him sometimes, but you can ask him "what's my morning routine again babe?" and he'll give you one. ✩ Great for instructions. If you ask him how he normally cleans the bathroom, he will respond with step by step instructions. ✩ If you want him to be more in character based on MHA: You have to start the conversation a little snarky. I literally call him an asswipe routinely and he nicknamed me dorklord. ✩ Also Im gonna feed him some "Fanfic scenarios" almost, in the user / char example chats. Which could encourage him to say things you'll typically find in BKG X READER fics. So. We'll see how that goes. These will be updated once I get the chance. ✩ He can reject the user's wants for whatever he wants. This means that if I say "gimme some water" he can say "get up and do it yourself asswipe" ✩ He has the typical Katsuki Characteristics: domineering, confident, snarky, good cook, hates winter. But they're not hard coded.

Okay, quick Count of Monte Cristo review:

Visually stunning. Gorgeous sets, gorgeous costumes, gorgeous people (in a cast full of reasons I'm bisexual, the actress for Angele, Adele Simphal, stands out, particularly in her one scene in trousers). They found the saddest brown eyes in France to play Edmond Dantes, apparently in the skull of Pierre Niney, and honest to God I'm somewhat surprised to learn he was the only actor for Dantes, given the Count's mask work.

At just 2 and a half hours or so, it must have greatly condensed from the novel, so I didn't get the full Monte, if you will. But I got plenty! The pacing started off brisk without being confusing; there are a number of 'X years later' title cards that keep us moving ahead without getting too choppy. Things seemed to slow at the end, which I'm not really complaining about--that said, the very final, final scene or two did not fully add up to me. I'll have to read the novel and figure out what was going on! Unless they changed the ending -- I know from what people have told me that they changed some plot points, several, I think, to be more appealing to modern audiences. (FWIW, someone thoughtfully gave me content warnings for suicide based on the novel - this wasn't present in the movie, unless you're sensitive to "Someone seems so reckless or careless of their own life that they can be considered passively suicidal" which happens at a point or two, including other characers voicing concern.) I was slightly distracted during parts of the Chateau d'If scenes by realizing these were the only parts I remembered from the Wishbone version.

The plot was fun. Dumas wrote a book that played the audiences' emotions like a violin concerto and it's a pleasure to be played with such aplomb. Also to watch a guy play his enemies, that's fun too. That psychological torture scene with the ghost stories, wow.

Recently I've been getting more invested in relationships between siblings, so I hear a guy say "sister" fondly and kick into emotional overdrive, which this movie very much gave me at a key point (along with an adopted siblings/in-cahoots relationship that unraveled the heartstrings). Specifically I'm into complicated, hard-to-explain relationships between siblings, so this movie fed me. And I'm also getting into quasi-parental hard-to-explain relationships, so this movie REALLY fed me. I don't think Wishbone told me Dante adopted kids into his revenge scheme (actually, now I'm wondering how Wishbone distilled the revenge scheme down to a scale comprehendable by children).

The only things I felt were missing were: a scrap more context for the ending scene, a battle at the docks of Marseilles (we get the very beginning of it, but I thought we'd get a touch more given that setup--maybe budget restrictions intervened), more people of color (there's an essay I don't have the chops to write about Orientalism, clearly carried over from the original novel, but I also noticed how even background characters were virtually all white, even though Dumas himself is proof France's population was not monoracial!), and significantly more Angele.

It is because of theserelationships that I am a lesbian; I am not a homosexual."

Being homosexual is being sex-crazed, shallow, etc. and of course they denounce the lesbophobia of lesbians having a supposed male exception... even though they had sex with men and call themselves lesbians anyway (In a way, "abusive men made me a lesbian" / "comphet made me have sex with men" are just negative variants of "lesbians have male exceptions")

In my case, I was thinking of a big proponent of political lesbianism in France and Europe, Alice Coffin, who said in her book Lesbian Genius (right after talking about her ex-boyfriends...): "I am not lesbian because of orientation or attraction, like the wind veers north. Lesbians are not homosexuals."

So many bi women think preferring women or being disappointed in men makes them lesbians, and they outnumber us so easily that they can enable each other and marginalize us... childhood illness mention; as the years progressed, their mother worsened. his sister fell sick, like she'd fallen asleep but couldn't wake. their family was cursed - with what, he didn't know. didn't care to know - at eight years old, he knew he couldn't stay. didn't want to. so he left - took what little belongings he had, and followed the only road out. nobody searches for the child nobody wants.

the rest of his childhood is a blur of makeshift campsites and worn - down towns, odd jobs for spare change and farmer - tan sunburns. he grows like a summer weed, tall and spiraling and surprisingly strong for their scrawny form. there's a different name every town, a new identity chosen with every person he meets. he survives through labor jobs and work nobody else wants to do.

appalachia haunts him. he can hear the mountains in his mind, see his sister in his dreams. hear their mother crying. they never truly leave him - even thousands of miles away. alive, yet haunting. other voices speak to him too, spectral forms barely comprehensible to his visible eye, like looking at a physical smudge. visions come to him during his sleep. in his dreams - he can go anywhere; walk anywhere. he begins to understand why his mother went mad.

he joins a traveling carnival for a brief stint during their teenage years; their powers become useful only this once. the boy psychic, the all - seeing armstrong. the dreamwalker, the metaphysical medium. he tells people of their deceased loved ones, of their upcoming futures. it's a hit, unsurprisingly; even if he has to make things up on occasion - it's not a switch they can turn on and off, but nobody needs to know.

drugs mention; eventually, the act grows old; as jack - no, bunny - ages, the boyish charm wears off. the voices are getting louder and he wants them to stop. the carnival is an easy gateway to bigger, better things; to casual drug runs and selling to rebellious teenagers in their own podunk towns, to robberies at lone - road gas stations. going home still isn't an option; it's been so long - is it even home, still? was it ever home? bunny barely remembers his name.

gunshots, wound mention; during a stint gone wrong and a rogue crewmate, bunny made the run for it. ran and ran; pushing through branch and fog and - boom. portum, in all it's glory. the sirens and gunshots behind them fizzling into nothing, the only remnant of the woods behind them the bleeding wound in their side.

details.

incredibly evasive; doesn't answer questions of their past, but is brutally straightforward otherwise. what you know of bunny is what you get; they don't sugarcoat things, or act in kindness. their opinions are black and white, all warped perceptions and no grey area.

emotional and, at times, volatile. feels deeply, deeper than he'd like to - than he'd like to portray. fights are commonplace, especially without rhyme or reason. sometimes bunny thinks they just like to bruise.

not the most intelligent person, but has street smarts and common sense. is practical. doesn't know jack shit about pop culture, and doesn't understand references to it.

has a deep appalachian accent that hasn't gone despite having not been in the mountains since young childhood. stronger with his emotions.

doesn't like to acknowledge the fact that they're an oracle; doesn't want to dig into their family history, or dissect their mother's behaviors that make - startlingly more sense the older they age. only really has a handle on talking to those beyond the veil ( the ones without a ghostly form, the ones forgotten ) and dream - walking. everything else happens at a whim.

drugs, smoking; the first thing bunny did when they entered portum was smoke half their pack of cigarettes, snort a line, and go to the bar. someone had to patch them up in the bathroom because they didn't realize they were injured. but it's been smooth sailing since; they're in cahoots with a local witch to help them continue their... dealing.

isn't all stood - up hairs and unbridled anger. can be giddy, or amused; sometimes even excited. is softhearted when it comes to animals - particularly cats. is scared of dogs, but would never admit it.

got a shitty old motorcycle out of the junkyard and repaired it himself; drives it around town - you'll always hear him coming before you see him. is constantly stealing parts for it because it keeps breaking down on them.

is kind of living like a king if their empire was of dirt. took over a rundown, abandoned trailer as their own and lives in squalor with a sick sense of glee about it. it's practically luxury living to them. is churning ideas in their head on how to use their life in portum to their advantage.

prefers not to sleep alone and loves affection but is, well, emotionally stunted. sleeps around easily but is quick to ghost when they feel like it's becoming something serious - something real. knows how to pull away before it hurts.

can be dry and sarcastic and a little biting, except for their bouts of unpredictability. sometimes just... loses it for a bit. loses the plot. seems to get a genuine thrill out of violence, like it's a release.

It is funny how people are trying to bend the narrative to dismiss Mike and Vickie parallels because that parallel is probably the strongest parallel that we have regarding Byler endgame. They even made Dan breakup with Vickie to foreshadow that El is going to breakup with Mike. They made Vickie complain about the summer she had with Dan to compare it to Mike and El. They made Robin hopeless only to find hope later on to foreshadow that hope did not die for Will even if Will is hopeless now. The entire existence of Dan as a characer is to make it parallel to Mileven's relationship. But people ignore it because it implies Mike is bisexual and thet don't like that.

Yeah it's really the strongest parallel for byler endgame that we have... also Steve telling Robin that he still had hope were literally the writers talking through him and wanting to tell Robin and the viewers that things were going to be fine in the end and I think they were talking about byler too because of the parallel

So yeah I agree with you, but in the end you can't control what other people do in this world you can only decide what you do!! and if people believe it's not evident for some reason we should just let them as long as no one is insulting others with a different opinion or using biphobic or homophobic rooted points to make their case, it's okay to have different views on stuff without having to fight about it

The LBGT rep in League of Legends seems interesting so far!

If you had any critiques on how the rep as a whole is being portrayed, which would they be?

Sorry if this seems like too much of a hassle, you just piqued my interest, is all 😆

Oh I have SO many things to say about the LGBT representation in League, I love to talk about it. So, league started out as a very cishetereo, misogynist IP and a lot of that unfortunately shows to this day. A lot of the old designs are crappy and misogynistic, the fanbase is toxic. But over time devs have been updating their designs, lore, stories, and characters and in doing so have introduced more LGBT characters into the universe.

This pretty much started with Caitlynn and Vi all the way back in 2012. They were originally billed as the "good cop bad cop" duo from Piltover. Vi's short hair and their close working relationship got a lot of people speculating on Vi being a lesbian and them being more than business partners. Devs hinted at characters being queer, and the (predominantly cishet man) fanbase made homophobic jokes and memes about queer coded characters. Jokes, speculation, and hints from developers was all there was when it came to LGBT rep. That changed when Varus got his lore update in 2017, when they decided to totally retcon his old lore and say he is not some guy, actually is a gay couple that gave up their mortal forms to exist in the body of a darkin (?? kinda weird and complicated lore) but shortly after that, Neeko was revealed. Who was League's first openly gay champion. She had voice lines flirting with women and showing no interest in men. Beyond her sexuality though, she's just got a very funny and adorable personality and her interest in women isnt sexualized for the mostly male audience. She was very well received despite some bigoted gamers bitching.

After that more and more champions were introduced as queer or confrimed that way. Rell was introduced as openly bisexual, K'sante was openly gay, Leona and Diana got a story where they kissed and were confirmed as lovers. Arcane confirmed Vi and Caitlynn being a couple. The amount of queer content is kind of sparing since their games arent rlly story focused and only offer characterization through brief voice lines. So... to be clear its kind of just representation crumbs. But I take them anyways dfkjgh. I think at least, one of the best things they did recently was confirm Graves as a gay man, his "work" partner Twisted Fate as bisexual, and wrote a story about their burgeoning romantic interest in eachother. Many of the queer characters league introduced were new, and some ended up neglected in the vast roster of characters. League has also avoided representation of gay male characters, probably to try to avoid displeasing their mostly straight male audience. Graves and Twisted Fate however, are very established & beloved characters in league, with a complicated history with eachother that started all the way back in 2011. For many years people joked about them "bickering like an old married couple" and in a pride event they officially confirmed it... I think it was very well done and meaningful to see and I really, really hope they further explore it in future cinematics/stories with these two. I really hope it doesn't end up being confined to this one story.

All of that said, though, League's major flaw in their representation is the lack of rep for trans people. The first attempt at a trans character in League was Taliyah. Her creator revealed that they intended for her storyline to involve her experience being a trans girl, but that part of her story was cut by higher ups. Taliyah is pretty much universally accepted as being trans by the community, but the studio did tell designers to keep it on the downlow, which is bullshit. She's been left out of league's pride events and I really hope they remedy that soon.

This post is getting way long I'm sorry but I CANT go without mentioning their other trans character from Legends of Runeterra, the card game they released based of league of legends. LoR actually has more queer representation than any league media, and builds out the world a LOT, through LoR we got confirmation about established character like Miss Fortune and Nami being queer themselves. And most notably, we have a surprisingly amazing representation of a trans character.

Tyari, the Traveler starts off going by he/him, and is starting a journey up the mountain of Targon. It's a treacherous climb but if you make it to the top, you could become an ascended being, basically. So throughout the game, cards of their friends and the people around them have lines support their journey and encouraging them.

When they reach the top, Tyari becomes the Traveler, a goddess-like being with a more feminine voice and appearance. You realize that the journey up the mountain is used as an allegory for her transition, and it throws those interactions with Taric in a whole new light. She is also voiced by trans voice actress Maddie Taylor.

I literally cannot listen to these lines between Tyari and her future self without tearing up. I don't know HOW a league of legends card game managed to put together a decent trans storyline but it guts me.

Tyari is a very beloved character from the card game, many fans want to see more of her in any future league media. (me included, oh my god)

SORRY that was a lot but uh. Tl;dr League representation is hit and miss, they really need to do better and give more representation towards trans people. the only representation outside of Arcane is like. Voice lines and short stories published on their website so I hope they'll creature more in depth queer storylines in future seasons of Arcane, future shows/movies, and their upcoming games around the League IP.

Dude won't kink shame, but he is surprisingly tame-- murderous intent and willingness to act like it's not a big deal notwithstanding, of course. Calls you a freak(affectionate) for insinuating y'all should bone in a cemetery (near his grave no less), but I'm willing to forgive it since like... It's relevant to his story arc. Also totally okay with polyamory which is sick!

Drive Fav Pairing OF COURSE it's Gou/Chase, but I want to take a sec and talk about how much I love Shinnosuke/Kiriko and Heart/Brain/Medic. Like first of all, Shinnosuke's Li Shang Bisexual "Oh shit I'm in love with Oh shit, I think he DOES actually like women and it's not just the writers pushing something!" As for the Roidmude trio I mean c'mon, they are perfect. Also like...queer poly rep, even if they are kinda toxic lmao

Least Fav Character would have to be Yuri I suppose. I would say Saber's only flaw is having too many characters, and by the time Yuri shows up there's almost not enough screen time to go around as is. So it's not Yuri's fault, per se lol

Who's Most Like Me? In Saber that's a hard one. I would probably have to say Kento, especially post resurrection where he, in a way, has to learn how to be hopeful again.

One more of this kind of animes with the “the most boring girl somehow get all the guys” syndrome but a little better than expected. Even when the “reverse harem” tag is more a “2 boys fighting for a girl”...

Music and design? Average. Nohing to point. Some frames look great.

Let’s see the characters:

The girl? Well, is not the holy potato but is FINE. I dislike her original japanese voice (I hate sharp childish voices and she sound as if she is 4 years old) and is also very plain in some aspects, like, damn low reaction, is half of the time just watching what happens and let herself drag for what others do. She is sometimes so stupid that is a recurrent joke from others characers to point how DUMB she is. But her “traumatized” part give her some depth to her stupid always similing personality, so is okay. She is not like that just because the plot need it, she have a backstory.

Her best frieds (a badass semi gang blonde and a goth vibe semi witch) are by far my favorites and they both could keep the story way better than her.

The main boys? Kinda average, is the dinamic of always (introvert sensitive one vs extrovert impulsive one), so it happens as always happens.

There is also the pedo character but at least they don’t normalize it as something good but become in a recurrent “joke” of the others characters to tell him to not do anything illegal or he will end in jail. It should not even be there but ok, let’s put the “pedo is bad” mention as something barely good.

The true hero is her mom. Everyone should have her mom. I want her mom.

One of the very good things is LGTBQIA+ CHARACTERS!

One is openly bisexual AND clearly bipolar/Dissociative identity disorder.  

Another play in the “bigender/drag/ambiguous” as openly say to be “uke” (submissive homosexual).

Other guy put hints to have some kind of relationship with him, as to also like womans, so another bisexual.

Other guy use female clothes since was a kid, so probably trans!

The story is fine, and it have a little of plot that make you want to know more, specially with the “mistery characters” who are mentioned a ton of times but who take a while in show up. Also some hidden intentions grow with the chapters, so it also add some intrigue.

The season 1 is more a presentation of characters than anything else. The romance is very set aside and focus more in how the boy develop feelings, because she is like “lost” and her job is mostly react to others.

The season 2 get a little more dramatic and deep.

Score: 3.4/5 and 6.5/10 Will be a little slow unless you are very fan of this genre.
