pitting rukia and orihime against each other will always fail with me because i genuinely think they're two of the best girls in shonen, but i love it when people try to do it in fanfic, because there was this one story i read ages ago where the author implied that, in-universe, girls desired rukia whereas boys desired orihime, which is very funny to say about a character who a canon lesbian has a crush on, who has more female friends, and whose most popular ship after ulquihime is tatsuhime. like. i am sorry but orihime is kissing different girls on the mouth bi-weekly, she is fruity as hell.

You know what sucks is that when terrible ships have fanart, that's awesome, and the healthy ships have terrible art? Not all healthy ships have terrible fan art. It's just that the majority of fandoms love unhealthy ships. For instance, Sasusaku, Ichihime, and Eremika. When people draw Sasuke, Ichigo, and Eren with someone else, like, for instance, Hinata, Ino, Tenten, Rukia, Renji, Ishida, Tatsuki, Byakuya, Mashiro, Sasha and Historia Reiss sometimes these shippers tend to get angry. If you ship Sasuke with any of the characters from "Naruto," that I listed, then people act like it's a threat. The same goes for Ichigo with someone else. Erehisu, on the other hand, is hell to pay for most Eremika shippers. Sasusaku and Eremika are the same. I saw a dumbass meme on reddit stating that Narusaku, Ichiruki, and Eremika are the ships they wanted to be canon, but we got Naruhina, Ichihime, and Erehisu instead. If you replace Eremika with Erehisu wanting to be canon along side with Narusaku and Ichiruki, then it makes better sense. The people who hate Erehisu are hard-core Eremika and Yumikuri, along with Reikuri stans and they think that Historia is gay. She's not gay. If anything, she's bisexual but not for Ymir or aromantic, but it's obvious that she's in love with Eren in a very healthy way. Orihime and Mikasa are better versions of Sakura. Naruhina also sucks. Eremika stans are the kind of people that will foam at the mouth from anger.

Note: I really wanted to post this, but I decided to make it into parts because there are a lot of characters to go through. Consider this part 1!

Recently, I’ve been listening to Twisted Wonderland English voice headcanons, and I agree with some but not others but that’s the point of headcanons. They’re always someone’s thoughts, and sometimes they fit perfectly! So, I wanted to give my headcanons for the Twisted Wonderland cast.

Ace Trappola — Max Mittleman

I chose Max because I agreed with a few other headcanons! Max, during his performances as Itto and Ryuji, has a very playful and mischievous tone of voice and as Saitama, he can perfect a voice that’s nonchalant, a bit bored, and blunt which summarizes Ace as a whole. When thinking of Saitama, I remembered his scream when he punched Vaccine Man with one punch and got mad and when he told Genos to get to the point, and that could fit with Ace as he signed a contract with Azul and had a sea anemone growing out of his head and got crushed by a cauldron.

Deuce Spade — Johnny Yong Bosch

Most known for:

Vash the Stampede in TRIGUN (original from 1998) and TRIGUN: Stampede (2023 reboot)

Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass

Personally, as a girl who loves both TRIGUN shows, I loved the way Johnny performed; as Vash in both versions, he maintained a kind and gentle voice while also being silly and giving out the best surprised shouts or nervous chuckles at the right moments. This would make Deuce very memorable as Deuce has a bit of Vash’s personality towards his friends but still maintains a little of his delinquency from his past and acts more of a tough guy when certain challenges arise such as when his opportunity to play in Spelldrive came, but after playing Ichigo, I doubt that would be an issue to give a rough voice.

This was another one I agreed with as Alejandro is the king of voice range! Trey is the calmest yet one of the firmest vice housewardens, and sometimes can go out of character a bit when it comes to brushing teeth. Alejandro fits this as I heard him play the most serious yet punniest Genshin Impact character, Cyno, who breaks character to break the tension in the room through jokes, but he is also capable of being a gentle soul who comforts like Miyamura or someone as calculating and diligent as Jing Yuan in Honkai Star Rail.

Cater Diamond — Kaiji Tang

Most known for:

Osamu Dazai in Bungo Stray Dogs

Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen

Gengo in Naruto Shippuden

I won’t lie; finding Cater’s voice actor was difficult until I stumbled upon Kaiji who voices Osamu and Gojo, two playful and supernaturally powerful men with quips and mischief. When Osamu said thanks to Chuuya after telling him to go into enemy fire to die, I knew this fit Cater too well as Osamu, like Cater, is depressed but keeps a smile on his face with a fun, joking tone with any situation, and like Gojo, Cater is a bit flirty (not womanizer flirty). Although he might have a little more of a feminine sounding voice because it is canon in the Japanese version that he is bisexual, I'm sure it would still be fitting to have Kaiji as his actor.

Riddle Rosehearts — Billy Kametz

Not only was Billy Kametz talented with line delivery, but he brings out the personality of his character that playing Riddle would have been magnificent. It is unfortunate that he passed on, but I still appreciate his work. What really made me choose him for Riddle was his performance as Anai in the Sanrio anime Aggretsuko because Anai was one to get easily sensitive over everything, feeling as if he was being personally attacked because he didn't like how one of his coworkers phrased their words to him. Because Billy played such a stickler, his voice would have suited Riddle in better ways than imagined with other voice actors, especially when he gets upset or angry or even overblots.

Have you also considered that polyamory is also a thing that exists and it should be explored more in media? It's always "X Character or Y Character?", and never "X Character AND Y Character", and I feel like that should be changed.

Like, for an example, I ship IzuOcha but I won't lie that TodoDeku has some potential...

...but it'd be nice if they were like a poly relationship (bonus points if you add Tenya and Tsuyu into the mix! The Dekusquad is a polyamorous superhero team; there, I've said it.)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not ignoring your complaints about wlw erasure; that is indeed wrong, and I know it. But so far, TOH has shown healthy and interesting dynamics between the characters that I just can't help but ponder about the possibilities.

If there's one thing that Amity and Hunter have in common when it comes to meeting and interacting with Luz, is that she's helping them to explore their individual selves and make their own life plans.

Usually, I don't ship; but when I do, it's for the growth and development the parties may potentially have.

Personally, I'm one of the people who percieves Luz and Hunter as a sibling dynamic. The romantic shippers were inevitable, they always are. But I don't see issues with them being shipped romantically so far, because both characters don't have a problematic dynamic like, for an example, Star and Marco.

If you've watched the series, you know what horrible thing happened for them to be together.

Or like Ichigo and Kishuu.

Even back in the days when shipping was all the rage, I never was a fan of this couple because a) Ichigo is with Aoyama, and b) Kishuu just kept forcing himself upon her.

Plus, with this little scene, I don't think Dana and Co. are intending for Luz and Hunter to be together romantically.

You can feel the contrast between these scenes.

Just remember, Disney wants to cancel this cartoon, because the MC is bisexual. And Disney loves to do whatever in their powers to throw queer characters under the bus.

Like, this is not queerbaiting; they genuinely love eachother. And Disney wants to destroy it all, because queer characters shouldn't have agency and be a positive influence to those around them.

Ok, so now Rukia is bisexual with a preference for female (ao3 is seducing me into the Orihime x Rukia fandom); and since I now require Nonbinary Ichigo to have ass-along hair like in canon, she is attracted to them (I have decided that this Ichigo has they/them pronouns). And there is a little predicament over the androgyny, it is embarrassing and leads into the sexuality discussion.

It goes something like this (completely ignoring her mission):

Rukia is flustered as soon as she slams in through the window just because I say so. She calls them “ma’am” (akin to Orihime’s stuttering crush) because of their feminine features (mostly the long hair and angelic, lean face). And Ichigo corrects them (Rukia is she/they here) that they’re in fact not a she. So Rukia conversationally says “Oh, my apologies. What are your pronouns?”

“Wait, you care about my pronouns?”

“Oh, I’m she/they. It is polite conversation in my culture to start off with pronouns before the name. “

“Wait, really? Well, then. *thrusts out hand* My pronouns are they/them. Unfortunately, my culture is prejudiced against the non-cisheteronormative people like us.”

Rukia accepts the handshake. Cue sparkle atmosphere. “Ah. Us Shinigami are all nonbinary! Before and after getting our Zanpakuto. Only the rich and powerful are pressured to conceive! “

“So what about the excitement earlier?”

“Oh! I’m bisexual with a preference toward the female spectrum.”

“I’m bisexual with a preference toward males.”

“What’s with the hair...?”

“My birth sex is male. It’s started growing my hair since I was nine.”

“That’s young! How old are you?”

“Almost sixteen. A teenager.”

So Rukia gave the speech about Shinigami and Soul Society and how the exorcism works. Ichigo slams her to the floor when she attacks them for insulting their drawing—cuz Picking Fights As Stress Relief 😅 “You Love Fighting!” taken literally n all that.

And Shiro is allowed to be Zangetsu from the start here (and since Ichigo was ten).

Ichigo does not flip her off this time, given that she is obviously inhuman and that her society is not exactly heteronormative.

And then just in time for the Hollow to roar and the battle starts.

Oh! In this AU, they already got the backstory about White and the Quincies and Ywach and Ossan (from their perspectives, of course. Ichigo is waiting to ask Isshin when he looks ready).

Like in canon. Ichigo accepted them both as Zangetsu, and now they no longer have any sort of identity crisis. True Shikai and Bankai will be unlocked later.

The black-and-white “kitchen knife” will be unlocked in Kisuke’s training. Given that Ichigo feels like they were held back, they bugged Ossan into explaining it. He said that he feels like holding back Ichigo at the moment. That something “malevolent” will come and take them away real soon.

And a buncha other stuff.

what is your favorite type of roleplay genre, and why?   Angst /Comfort. I absolutely LOVE angst and breaking my character down. I know that sounds super sadistic but it’s kind of cathartic in a way... and I love the comfort afterwards

why did you pick your muse?    Honestly, I connected with Rukia from the very first time I watched Bleach. I’ve never connected with a character as much as I did with her and I still haven’t since. I just felt everything that was going on with her on such a deep level. I would love to say that we are similar but I only wish I was more like her lol. That connection is why I chose to roleplay as her. if you could write any other muse - but know you don’t have the muse for him/her - who would it be? Ichigo. haha I try to write as him sometimes and it’s definitely harder for me. I feel like I have a good understanding of him as a character but it’s all through Rukia’s eyes which makes it a little difficult for me to write him in a well rounded way. 

what is one thing you think you need to work on as a partner? umm well probably not taking things personally. Sometimes I get too immersed in my muse and have to remember to take a step back and separate from her. I also get kind of attached to certain threads and maybe get really excited about the story lines... I go through moods where I don’t feel like responding to my long threads which I’m sure annoys people... There’s probably a lot for me to work on honestly lol

what would be your warning label to other roleplayers? Warning: This mun takes her muse too seriously and sometimes goes overboard 

what is your favorite episode/scene of your muse? OMG there are soo many, I can’t pick just one! I love the entire first arc soooo much because there was soo much development and back story there. I really love Rukia’s fight with Aaroniero / Kaien, I love her fight with Sode no Shirayuki in the zanpakuto rebellion arc, I love her bankai scenes in the manga... god I love anything she’s in which is a lot. 

what crack!ships do you have for your muse?     Crack ship? I guess it would be GrimmRuki! I still don’t know how it would work but these two are such opposites sometimes, that I feel like they would be good for one another in an upside universe lol

I also absolutely love IchiRukiRen! It honestly makes me very happy to see these three completely enamored with each other and I wish there was more content for it. 

what is your senpai blog? Ahh.. a senpai blog... there are a few blogs I look at as excellent examples! so @nightbeat-cat and @mysteriousshopkeeper both have super in depth analysis of their characters and their replies are absolutely amazing to read. I wish I could I could write as well as they do! 

@wild-pineapple-butt has taken her canon Renji to a whole new level and given him all these complex facets without making him OOC at all! I admire that skill and try to emulate that when I write too!

Gaogaigar AU ideas

Hey. So, I got some ideas for a Gaogaigar AU. I would like to point out that this is more of a canon-divergent AU. Some things are different, but most are the same. If I have more, I’ll make a reblog.

Revealed in Gaogaigar (OG series)

Gai is shown to have very logical fears. For example, losing his loved ones, failing to protect people, and fighting against his comrades. Aside from that, same old King of Braves! ^^

Galeon shares a mental communication link with Gai and Mamoru, due to the G-Stone.

Gai and Mamoru are fans of Kamen Rider and Super Sentai (hence why Gai wears a belt similar to Hongo/Kamen Rider Ichigo’s.

Mikoto is bisexual, mostly thanks to (from what I can tell) Swan’s tactical flirting. Gai is ALSO bisexual and his father and uncle are very proud of him.

GGG is pretty much like a family.

Gai really wishes he was Mamoru’s ACTUAL brother, due to them being so close.

J won’t admit this, but he DOES consider Gai a friend, despite their differences. He also had a close relationship with Kaidou and TOMORO, even though both are warriors.

Renais and Gai have a much stronger connection with each other, as both are bisexual, have experienced being cyborgs, and have had similar hardships. The two often consider themselves as siblings-through-bonds.

Gai and Lamia (of Betterman) are actually good friends.

Gai was VERY disturbed by the fact that the Sol Masters sent a fake Mamoru to kill him.

SPEAKING of the Sol Masters, they REALLY try to fuck Gai over a lot.

For example, Leo and Kizuna are replicated, but help Gai in realizing that he needs to follow his path of courage. They also help out with freeing GGG from the nanomachines. They ultimately are NOT destroyed in the end and join the rest of GGG.

The Sol Masters even stage a fake EXECUTION of Mamoru, Renais, and Mikoto to fuck up Gai mentally. This DOES work, but not in the way the Sol Masters predicted. Gai, of course, was FURIOUS.

The Sol Masters do control Gai, but allow him to speak and see everything. This DOES succeed in crushing his spirit when he attacks J and unwillingly kills the replicates of the Braves.

Repli-Kizuna often suggests that she and Repli-Leo become Mamoru’s godparents. Mamoru is, quite predictably, excited by this.

Genesic Gaogaigar’s Final Fusion is so strong that Gai sometimes forgets that he is piloting a giant robot...and NOT the robot itself.

Mikoto remains conscious through the end of the OVA. However, her injuries force her to be placed in a wheelchair until they heal fully.

Gai is able to communicate with Mamoru mentally when the former is fused with Galeon (and by extension, Genesic Gaogaigar).

Revealed in Gaogaigar vs. Betterman

Mamoru and Kaidou go to the memorial every weekend or as often as they can. They do this to see if GGG has returned or just for guidance. The warm glow provided by the G-Stone and J-Jewel provides some comfort.

Mamoru and Kaidou are panromantic.

Renais tried to break free from the Triple Zero virus, but eventually exhausted herself and, regretfully, succumbed to it.

J and TOMORO were ALMOST infected by the Triple Zero. The reason J broke free is because of his new connection to the G-Stone. TOMORO broke free due to J’s direct interference.

The Genesic Machines are, on some level, sentient. They only obey the will of Galeon. This also means they obey the will of Gai and Mamoru.

When GGG returned to the Orbit Base, they were very shocked to hear that ten years have passed. When they see what Mamoru and Kaidou look like now, they freak out even more.

The Power has made some unexpected changes to Gai. He now has a berserker ability that he is currently unable to control (though he CAN break free from it). He also has new armor that mimics the appearance of Genesic Gaogaigar (excluding the hair). His hair and eyes turn orange when berserk and he, along with Genesic Gaogaigar, appear more ferocious and the mecha gains the orange hue.

Speaking of The Power, it literally restored Genesic Gaogiagar, the J-Ark and J-Bird, Braves, along with Renais and J, ffectively healing their injuries. It also evolved the Will Knife into a huge Zankantou (similar to Exkaiser’s), the J-Ark/Bird with new weapons and abilities (even giving it the Genesic Aura and Armor, even making it look similar to Genesic Gaogaigar in the sense that it looks more aggressive, streamlined, and animalistic) and restored the J-Quath into a bow weapon that can be used on the new King J-der’s arms or chest, which J renames to the J-Archery. Its finisher is the Phoenix Arrow. J also renames King J-Der to King J-Der Genesi. Gai also has a new ability called the Genesic Roar, which allows him to fire a concentrated burst of Genesic and G-Stone energy at the opponent from Galeon’s mouth.

Gai can also use his G-Stone-powered form as a type of awakening ability. Here, Gai and Genesic Gaogaigar gain the green hue. However, the eyes of BOTH glow green as well (similar to how previous Brave series titular heroes had green optics. Also, Gai is much more calm and tries to understand his opponent, rather than ripping them to shreds from the get-go.

Gai is able to LITERALLY FLY in both The Power and G-Stone-awakened states.

J, reluctantly, becomes a full time GGG member and is given his own uniform. He can also use Equip, which allows his to don his armor. He is asexual and biromantic.

Mamoru and Gai’s reunion can be best described as basically MCU Scott reuniting with his daughter in Endgame. Mamoru is also happy that Repli-Leo and Repli-Kizuna survived and is honored to meet Gai's mother.

As we are on the topic of the King of Braves' parents, The Power has made their spirits merge with the replicates, effectively bringing them back to life. While this sometimes disturbs them, they are mostly just happy to be home with their family and friends.

A few other Braves have been made after GGG’s return. (I’ll be going over them in a reblog post.)

A couple people from Gai and Renais’ respective pasts also joined GGG and Chasseur. NEITHER COUSIN IS PLEASED BY THIS. (I’ll explain why in the oc post.)

The order that the Braves are fought and restored in is the same as the order of their appearance, which is Hyoryu and Enryu, Volfogg, Goldymarg, Mic Sounders, Fuuryu and Rairyu, and Kouryu and Anryu. Renais accompanies Kouryu and Anryu.

GGG has issues with fighting against their own. This is why Gai and Mamoru often end up letting them get attacks in. J also has issues fighting with them, as he has a close connection to Renais.

The Gun Machines are rebuilt and given AIs that are based on Kousuke Entouji and Minoru Inubouzaki.

Renais, after being purified, has Evoluder abilities and is given a NEW version of Gaofighgar that is regulated to HER fighting style.

The original Gao Machines are ALSO remade as a last resort for Gai, should the Genesic Machines need to be repaired when he has to fight. While not as strong as Genesic, the artificial Gaogaigar is still strong enough to take on most enemies that are of the size of the ones it was able to defeat during the Zonder-Primeval Incident.
