No but like seriously, the fact that Rengoku talks to Giyuu a lot (confirmed in the anime), I'd like to think that Giyuu is the most comfortable when he's around Rengoku.

He's the only one who isn't an outright dick to him (read Sanemi and Obanai) or spewing thinly veiled insults to him with a condescending smile (read Shinobu).

Rengoku actively goes out of his way to talk to Giyuu with genuine kindness and interest.
