How did they turn a story about misogyny into “monarchy is bad”? The book is full of green propaganda that was spread by Eustace and Shepherd, but even these two didn’t think of such nonsense as Ryan and Sara. They shove this damn prophecy into every episode because for them the motivation "the throne is my birthright" is not good enough. Rhaenyra contemplated giving her youngest sons to be raised by a drunkard and a woman who abused her for 10 years. They make her not the main character, but Alicent's litter. Whaaaaaat? Even directors are already making fun of her.
Rhaenyra never was called a kinslayer, that's what Aemond was called.
Everyone was concerned about Luke's murder: And with his death, the war of ravens and envoys and marriage pacts came to an end, and the war of fire and blood began in earnest.
Rhaenyra was broken by pregnancy, labor, and stillbirth and Luke's death. She wasn't a robot.
The Black Council was loyal to Rhaenyra and did not undermine her authority, and she listened to them.
Almost all the houses of the Riverlands immediately supported Rhaenyra because they remembered the Realm's delight.
Rhaenyra had an army.
Jace was always on her side. And Rhaenyra always listened to him.
Rhaenyra blamed everything on her enemies, not her closest allies.
The Battle of the Burning Mill was won by blacks.
Rhaenyra would be the last person to put a plebeian from King's Landing on a dragon, only her blood.
I'm pretty sure Ryan and Sara are snickering at Rhaenyra and thinking about how to humiliate her even more in the show. They are trying their best to evoke sympathy from Aegon, whom George has called a villain. Don't you find this strange??

while I work on requests, I shall share a little something that crossed my mind the other day :)
warnings: fluff. but hints of smut. like really small. naoya and y/n are happily married with 3 kids. mentions of pregnancy. a bit related to this.
additional related work: beginning. middle. after. and this is the ending 💫
happy reading!
To say that you’ve been married for almost 20 years with the love of your life, Naoya, is a feat that not many would be able to replicate.
It almost felt like a dream, and looking back on it, it certainly was.
You got to create a beautiful family of your own through 3 kids— 1 daughter, 2 twins, a boy, and a girl— as well as seeing them grow into the accomplished, talented people you always knew they were bound to become.
And let’s not forget, of course, that you also got to see Naoya become leader of the Zen’in clan, the position he always strived to achieve since the moment he met you, his birthright; after long and exhausting efforts, days away and countless sacrifices… Naoya finally obtained his great reward, and you were there to support him every step of the way.
Life wasn’t to become any easier for either when he eventually took on the role of head of the clan, just as both imagined; there were even moments where your marriage was deemed afflicted…
But the two managed to work it out, as love always did, and how they strived for it to be for the years to come.
These changes weren’t all bad, though, for the highest positions at the estate had to come with some perks.
For Naoya, it was the capability of spending much more time at home, no longer needed to go out on missions after missions in name of his family, he could just send someone else; while he stayed behind, for a more political approach.
Equally tedious, but it still gave him the opportunity to make up for all his absences with his family.
As well as remind you that even when the years passed, his desire for you was just as lively as ever.
“Come on, Y/N… just one, for a little bit…” he murmurs hotly against your skin, nibbling your ear as his hands began to undo the careful work of your staff, making you squirm in reaction, hands feebly attempting to stop him.
“N—No, Naoya…” you whine, doing your best to hold back your moans. It’s endearing that even after all these years of marriage, you’re still shy with him—but truth to be told, Naoya is content that it remains that way, his wife adorable as ever. “It’s… It’s risky.”
“But you’ve always loved a little bit of risk, haven’t you?” he purrs against your neck. “Don’t I deserve this, after all I’ve done for the clan?”
Your lip trembles, waves of heat traveling across your body and down to your core; the simplest of touch, the faintest of hints of his desire, was enough to have you delirious, succumbing to his request because at the end of the day, deep within... you knew he was stating the truth.
“Ju—Just once, ok…?” you murmur. “After that, it’ll have to be outside, or—or with the condom.”
“More than enough.” Naoya smiles, taking your lips into a heated kiss, guiding you into what would be a long night, the type of nights you’ve had more of as of recently, given his new availability as the leader of the clan.
But not quite as this one.
No, not at all. And perhaps it was never intended to be like the others, starting from how Naoya broke his promise soon after, with your permission… and the consequences to be suffered in due time.
“A baby?!” Naomi, the oldest of your kids, shrieks. “You’re having another baby?!”
“Yes, we are.” You say, a bright smile on your lips as you tightly hold onto Naoya’s hand.
“How did this—no, I don’t want to know actually.” She scowls in disgust; she’s at the age where she knows just exactly what transpired, after all.
Her siblings though, 8-year-old twins Naoko and Naoyuki, were still oblivious to that fact, and couldn’t be any more elated to welcome another addition to the family.
“I want it to be a girl!” Naoko cries.
“No, a boy!” Naoyuki adds. “I don’t want any more girls!!”
As the only boy in the family, it would make sense he’d want such a thing.
“I’m fine with whatever.” Naomi adds, moving on from her initial disgust, and allowing her true feelings to flourish, happiness. Although secretly hoping for another boy too. “What happens next, then? You better not leave mom alone, dad!”
“No, of course not. I wouldn’t even dream it.” Naoya frowns, her words lightly stinging his heart.
He knows that in the past, when he was still heir to the clan, his duties would often, if not always, pull him away from his family.
Your husband always tried his best to make up for this fact, tormented with the notion that he was slowly becoming like Naobito. And though you’d reassure him otherwise, reminding him that his children loved him unconditionally, and that he was far away from anything remotely like him…
Naomi’s commentary, and her unspoken truth, tells him that she might still resent him for it.
But with his new position, that is something that will no longer go unattended.
He will simply relegate most of his duties to someone else and spend all of his time tending to you, your pregnancy, all the risks that entail due to the circumstances, as well as guiding his children through this new stage of their life.
“Yeah right… we shall see.” Naomi pouts, redirecting her gaze to you. “What about you mom? How are you feeling?”
“Well, I’m very excited! I didn’t think I’d be having another baby at this age… but I’m happy either way. Home has been quite lonely; with you going out for missions, and your siblings going to school…”
“Ah, so you wanted to replace me?!” Naomi frets.
“Of course not, my little pumpkin.” You giggle, walking towards Naomi and pinching her right cheek; she’s barely 15, but she’s already around Naoya’s height—oh, how you miss the days where you could just pick her up and kiss her. “You’ll always be my first love.”
“…you didn’t have to say it like that.” she murmurs, cheeks red as she slowly melted over your gestures. Not enough to stop her teasing though, she’s truly Naoya’s daughter. “Now you’re going to make dad all jealous.”
“Hey!” Naoya gasps, you and Naomi laugh.
“Have you thought of a name, mama?” Naoko wonders, gently placing her small hand over your still flat stomach, Naoyuki doing the same soon after, only he has another question in mind.
“And where is the baby?” he says. “I thought the baby is supposed to be here…”
“We have yet to decide how we want the baby to look like.” Naoya responds, still suffering from having to explain to Naomi how babies come to be. He hopes that this answer will delay their natural curiosity for a bit longer. “As for the name—”
“We haven’t decided that one yet either.” You add. “Although…”
“What is it?” Naoya asks, a twinkle on his eyes at the prospect of you already choosing a name.
“Oh, nothing.” You smile. “We can think about it later on.”
Although the truth was completely different; for everything in fact.
From the fact that you’ve already chosen a name, for a while now actually, since you might’ve or might’ve not planned to have another baby, or at least dreamed about it for a while now, since the house felt… like it was lacking a certain charm; hoping that Naoya would also feel the same…
Which you correctly assumed, given the enthusiasm he irradiated when you came back with a positive result; he’s at the estate much more often than before, after all, a change that might’ve… persuaded him to experience what he couldn’t back in the day.
Yet, that is something that both will find out much later, or probably never, since it wasn’t that important compared to the present; preferring to enjoy this heartwarming celebration with their family, already thinking how they’d reveal the news to both his and your clan, anticipating the emotional outburst your father is to have for becoming a grandfather for the nth time, Naobito’s unexpected… acceptance, and of course, all the gifts that customarily come soon after.
But above all, the overwhelming excitement to receive little Naohime into the home, a baby they had no idea whom she’ll take after, or what kind of person she’ll become when she grows up—
All that they know is that they already love her unconditionally.

Some Pro-Life Information and Resources
The information;
The Pro-Life Movement is against abortion because it ends the life of a living human being in the womb. While many people have biblical reasons for being pro life, the movement acknowledges that it is a scientific fact that life begins at fertilization (aka conception) and we believe that that life shouldn't be taken away, and that human beings have the right to life, from the moment they are conceived. Here is one scientific study that goes over when life begins in the womb, but below are a few short quotes, as well.
...
“Human life begins at fertilization, the process during which a male gamete or sperm (spermatozoo developmentn) unites with a female gamete or oocyte (ovum) to form a single cell called a zygote. This highly specialized, totipotent cell marked the beginning of each of us as a unique individual.” “A zygote is the beginning of a new human being (i.e., an embryo).”
Keith L. Moore, The Developing Human: Clinically Oriented Embryology, 7th edition. Philadelphia, PA: Saunders, 2003. pp. 16, 2.
...
“The term conception refers to the union of the male and female pronuclear elements of procreation from which a new living being develops. It is synonymous with the terms fecundation, impregnation, and fertilization … The zygote thus formed represents the beginning of a new life.”
J.P. Greenhill and E.A. Freidman. Biological Principles and Modern Practice of Obstetrics. Philadelphia: W.B. Saunders Publishers. 1974 Pages 17 and 23.
...
“[The zygote], formed by the union of an oocyte and a sperm, is the beginning of a new human being.”
Keith L. Moore, Before We Are Born: Essentials of Embryology, 7th edition. Philadelphia, PA: Saunders, 2008. p. 2.
...
“Almost all higher animals start their lives from a single cell, the fertilized ovum (zygote)… The time of fertilization represents the starting point in the life history, or ontogeny, of the individual.”
Carlson, Bruce M. Patten’s Foundations of Embryology. 6th edition. New York: McGraw-Hill, 1996, p. 3
...
The Resources;
We in the Pro-Life Movement acknowledge that one of the reasons why a woman may consider an abortion is because she may, for reasons such as financial difficulties or lack of support from the people in her life, believe she is unable to have a baby. Because of that, we have very many organizations within the movement that offer all kinds of support for pregnant women and their families, all of which are completely free. Here is a list of a few organizations (reblogs with more is highly encouraged and appreciated, especially for international organizations).
Option Line is a good place to find further information and pregnancy centers near you.
Let Them Live offers financial support and has fundraisers going on for different women in need all the time.
Birthright International is another website that offers support, referrals, and information.
Support After Abortion, as the name states, offers support and healing if you've lost a child to abortion. It is a judgement free organization that offers help to both women and men.
This post by no means is a complete list of pro life information or resources, as its purpose is only to be a starting point for understanding the movement. If you have any questions regarding the topic, please feel free to ask.

At least 59.4 percent of illegal immigrant-led homes use one or more welfare programs, compared with 39 percent of households headed by people born in the United States, according to the Dec. 19 report.
High rates of welfare use among illegal immigrants “primarily reflect their generally lower education levels and their resulting low-incomes, coupled with the large share who have U.S.-born children who are eligible for all welfare programs from birth,” the report reads.
“More than half of all illegal immigrant households have one or more U.S.-born children.”
Children born to illegal immigrants in the United States, also known as “anchor babies,‘ are considered to have automatic birthright citizenship even though the U.S. Supreme Court hasn’t explicitly ruled on the matter. Illegal immigrants can’t access most welfare programs, a restriction that eases for their children who are born in the country.
“The American welfare system is designed in large part to help low-income families with children, which describes a large share of immigrants,” CIS states in the report.
A dozen states offer Medicaid to all low-income children regardless of immigration status. Such children also have access to various government food and meal programs.
Programs such as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, the Women, Infants, and Children nutrition program, free or subsidized lunch and breakfast for students, and Medicaid for children (Children’s Health Insurance Program) were “explicitly created for minors,” the report states.
The CIS report is based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2022 Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP).
“The reality is that illegal immigrants are included in the SIPP, a large share of them are poor, and they or their U.S.-born children have welfare eligibility; and many take advantage of this eligibility,” CIS stated.
“A very large share of immigrants come to America, have children, struggle to provide for them, and so turn to taxpayers for support. This can be seen as especially problematic given that there is already a large number of Americans who are also struggling to provide for their children.”
According to data from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the total number of U.S.-born children of illegal aliens in the United States as of June stood at 5.78 million, a population more than two times that of Chicago.
FAIR estimates that “illegal aliens and their U.S.-born children impose a net annual cost of $150.6 billion on American taxpayers as of the beginning of 2023.” Over the past five years, the annual cost has risen by almost $35 billion.
“This burden will only continue to grow as a result of the Biden administration’s open-borders policies,” the organization warns.
Ending Birthright Citizenship
Multiple GOP members have taken a strong stance against birthright citizenship. In 2018, former President Donald Trump said he would remove birthright citizenship via executive order, which didn’t happen.
In his 2024 campaign, President Trump has reiterated his position on the matter. In a May video, President Trump promised to sign an executive order on day one of his second term to solve the issue.
Such an order would end the “unfair practice known as birth tourism, where hundreds of thousands of people from all over the planet squat in hotels for their last few weeks of pregnancy to illegitimately and illegally obtain U.S. citizenship for the child, often to later exploit chain migration to jump the line and get green cards for themselves and their family members.”
“At least one parent will have to be a citizen or a legal resident in order to qualify,” President Trump stated.
Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy called for an end to birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants during the second GOP debate, in September.
“Now, the left will howl about the Constitution and the 14th Amendment. The difference between me and them is I’ve actually read the 14th Amendment. And what it says is that all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the laws and jurisdiction thereof are citizens,” Mr. Ramaswamy said.
“So nobody believes that the kid of a Mexican diplomat in this country enjoys birthright citizenship—not a judge or legal scholar in this country will disagree with me on that. Well, if the kid of a Mexican diplomat doesn’t enjoy birthright citizenship, then neither does the kid of an illegal migrant who broke the law to come here.”
In July, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) introduced a proposal called “End Birthright Citizenship Fraud Act of 2023,” which aims to abolish automatic birthright citizenship for U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants.
Under the legislation, at least one parent of the child must be a U.S. national or a refugee, have lawful permanent citizenship, or be an active member of the military.
“My legislation recognizes that American citizenship is a privilege—not an automatic right to be co-opted by illegal aliens,” Mr. Gaetz said in a statement.
“This is an important step in preserving the sanctity of American citizenship and ensures that citizenship is not treated as a loophole to be exploited but rather a privilege to be earned when legally migrating to our country.”

Garrard | Amethyst and diamond pendant, circa 1920
The Fleurée cross set with square-cut amethyst and accented by circular-cut diamonds.
During the late 80s Diana, Princess of Wales, became known for bolder fashion choices reflecting how she had begun to take autonomy in her life. It was during this period, in 1987 that Garrard lent her this distinct and eye catching early 20th century amethyst and diamond cross to pair with an exquisite baroque style purple and black velvet Catherine Walker & Co dress, for a function held at the jewellers in support of Birthright, a charity which strives to protect human rights during pregnancy and childbirth. Her newfound style was a bold departure from her previous more romantic fashion choices. The Chelsea-based bespoke atelier, Catherine Walker & Co was beloved by Diana and remains popular amongst other members of the Royal Family. When working with Diana, Princess of Wales, they aspired to design to clothes that did not outdo Diana, rather they are “suitable for the role they are playing and… match up to the power they have”, according to Said Cyrus, one of the founders of Catherine Walker & Co.
Diana’s relationship with Garrard was long-standing, having selected her infamous sapphire and diamond engagement ring from the then Royal Jeweller in 1981. Over the years, she would go on to collaborate with Garrard, borrowing her favourite amethyst and diamond cross on many more occasions, as recalled by Ramsay Attallah, whose father, Naim Attallah, CBE (1931-2021) was joint managing director and eventually group chief executive of Asprey & Garrard. It was under his patronage that Garrard saw continued growth and success, remaining crown jewellers until 2007. As good friends of the Princess, Attallah acquired the cross shortly after her death and it has remained with the family, unworn, ever since. Sotheby’s is proud to present this incredibly rare piece of royal history in the Royal and Noble sale.

Dragon of Dreams Part 3
Rhaenyra is still pregnant this takes place from 8 and 10. If someone remembers me mentioning Daemon killing someone for calling the kids basterds, please forget about it or just pretend it was someone else.
“My Lady, Jesseym just brought in a letter from your family,” Lucienne said handing you the scroll,” It’s been the first letter I got from them in the months” it has been nearly six months since you married Morpheus, not much changed besides you being pregnant at the moment. The pregnancy came quickly after your wedding, to no surprise you nor Morpheus as the amounts of time you slept together it would have been more surprising if you haven’t gotten pregnant.” The Sea snake has been greatly wounded, Lucery’s claim on drift mark is being questioned. They want me to come in support of him” you read out loud to Lucienne, who in the short time as Queen if the dreaming became a good friend of yours,” So all of the sudden?” Lucienne asked,” I guess my Uncle, the sea snakes brother like many questions about Lucerys true linage” you sighed and placed a hand on your belly,” Lucienne inform Morpheus about this, I saddle Lilith in the meanwhile”,” Yes my Lady” Lucienne was about to walk away when you called for her,” You may join us as well Lucienne”,” If that’s what you wish my Lady, it would be an honour”.
You were petting Lilith's snout when Morpheus appeared behind you,” Isn’t flying Lilith a bit too dangerous for someone in your Circumstance my love” he chuckled rubbing your belly affecionly,” Not if you're holding on to me” you kissed his jaw making him smile,” Unfortunately I have to stay here” you frowned at the answer,” I have duties here my love, I need to create new nightmares and dreams. These take a while but Lucienne and The Corinthian will join you,” I don’t like the corinthian, I don’t trust him” Morpheus sighed and cupped your cheek,” I’m his Master and since our marriage so are you. He won’t be any trouble for you. If he is, you have the power to send him to the darkness” he said playing with the necklace of his sigil around your neck,” Be very bored without me please” he grinned,” I will miss you every waking moment, please dream a lot while your there” he said stroking your collarbone,” I made a carriage for you, Lilith can be flying after it” Morpheus said gently taking your hand and guiding you toward the carriage, we’re Lucienne and the Corinthian were already waiting,” Your majesty” he said opening the door for you, you sighed and kissed Morpheus lips you turned and saw Lilith peeking from behind her cave,” Lilith sōvegon tolī īlva (Lilith fly after us)” you shouted making Dragon groan in response.
“You seem nervous my Lady,” Lucienne said,” My brother's birthright is being questioned, our birthright has been questioned so many times. I just had the belief it would have ended already” you sighed looking out the window.
“Sister,” Luc’s said running towards you,” Be gentle” you chuckled ruffling his brown hair with a smile,” Your pregnant already” Jace chuckled hugging you with a smile,” Oh with all the time my Lady spend with Lord Morpheus it’s not a surprise,” Lucienne said making your face heat up,” Brothers these are Lucienne and Cori,” you said gesturing towards the two,” I’m here just to make sure nothing happens to our Lady,” the Corinthian said with a smirk, his creepy eyes covered by bandages,” What happened to your eyes?” Luc asked,” Well my Prince, that’s a long and gruesome story”,” Where is mother?” you asked,” With Grandfather,” Jace said making you nod,” Mother has a room prepared, let me take you there,” Lucerys said grabbing your hand.
After leaving your stuff in your room you were taking a walk with your brothers, you noticed Lucerys worried looks while Jace was excited about the weapons,” People are staring” Lucerys said,” Let them stare” you said,” If I only looked more like you, people won’t question my rights for Driftmark” Lucerys sighed, you and Jace looked at each other,” You are the heir of Driftmark, just like Jace is the heir of the iron throne. History doesn’t remember blood, they remember names and you carry the name Valeryion” you smiled at your brothers, who gave you a small smile back,” And if anyone dares to question you again, I will feed them to Lilith” you joked making him chuckle, commotion behind you made the three of you turn around, a crowd has gathered making you and your siblings grow curious. “Well done my Prince, you are ready to win tourneys,” Sir Criston Cole said as Aemond had a sword pointed at his chest,” I don’t give a shit about tourneys. Nephews are you here to train” Aemond turned to the three of you, his words were thrown at your brothers but his eyes were on you, his gaze quickly dropped to your swollen stomach, and you quickly jumped behind Jace as Aemond's gaze was making you uncomfortable. Lucery’s seemed to notice and grabbed your hand giving you a gentle squeeze, you smiled at him gratefully. The large doors of the red keep suddenly opened revealing the man who was the reason why you gathered here in the first place. Vaemond stalked past you, glaring at Lucery’s as he passed, you wrapped your arms around him and brought him closer to your body in a protective manner.
Being in the throne room with Aemond not taking his eyes off made you tighten the grip on your brother's hand, “If he makes you uncomfortable your grace I could take his other eye” The Corinthian said, a smile evident in his voice,” Lord Morpheus will have you banished” Lucienne said,” Not if was in order to protect his wife”,” No, it’s fine, it’s nothing” you whispered, your gaze drifted towards the window where you saw a familiar raven being seated,” Jessamy” you whispered with a smile,” Did you say, something?” Jace asked,” Nothing, Don’t be nervous Luc” you ruffled his hair as you saw him become anxious as Otto sat down on the throne,” Let’s begin with the briefing”.
“Her children are BASTERDS, and she’s a whore” the sea snake’s brother spat,” I wouldn’t even be surprised if that daughter of hers is actually carrying her husband's child, rumours swirl that she’s just like her mother” he added, you felt Jace’s hand tightened around yours, you looked up and saw Aemond’s jaw clench, his hand was slowly reaching for his sword,” I have your tongue for that” Visery’s claimed standing up with a blade drawn but Daemon got there before he had the chance too,” He can keep his tongue” Daemon smirked, you felt Lucienne's hand reach for you at Daemon’s action, even Jessaym cawed loudly at that,” I’m fine” you whispered to the librarian, you looked back at Aemond and saw that his gaze was back on you,” Go to your rooms,” Rhaenyra said.
You gently stroked Jesseym’s white belly as she grazed her head against the back of your hand,” Lord Morpheus, must have gotten worried. Jessamy is his eyes and ears in the waking world,” I’m fine my love” you whispered to the bird, when a knock on the door made you take your hand away from the raven,” Princess, Prince Aemond requested your presence” a maid said bowing her head,” What reason has he given?” you asked curiously,” He hasn’t given one Princess” you hummed and stood quiet for a while before answering,” I will be there in a while” the maid nodded and left the room,” Do you want me to join you, my lady?” Lucienne asked,” I will be fine, just keep an eye on the Corinthian, I don’t trust him” you whispered looking at the nightmare who exploring the bookshelf in the room,” Yes my Lady” she nodded.
Aemond was sitting at the fireplace when you entered the room,” You have requested my presence Uncle?” you asked folding your arms behind your back,” Are you okay?” he asked still staring at the fireplace, you furrowed your brows,” Yes, I’m fine. The words bastard barely affects me anymore” he hummed in response,” Nyke would emagon ossēntan zirȳla yn daemon jiōraton naejot ziry ēlī (I would have killed him but Daemon got to it first)”, he finally turned to you,”Nyke gīmigon uncle (I know Uncle)”,” Ao sagon lēda riña already (You're with child already)”,”Eman iā gaomilaksir naejot fulfil tolī mirre (I have a duty to fulfil after all), also my husband is a passionate lover” you smiled at the memory of yours and Morpheus lovemaking,”Nyke would also emagon issare mēre (I would also have been one)”, you sighed,” Skoros ēdi iksis toliot, ñuha jorrāelagon syt ñuha valzȳrys iksis real, iksan carrying zȳhon riña daor mērī kesrio syt hen gaomilaksir yn also syt jorrāelagon (What we had is over, my love for my husband is real, I'm carrying his child not only because of duty but also for love)” Aemond clicked his tongue and got up from his seat,”Skoro syt issi ao iēdrosa wearing bona necklace pār? lo emā daor jorrāelagon geptot syt nyke, skoro syt gaomagon emare ziry around bona gevie ȳrgos hen aōhon? (Why are you still wearing that necklace then? If you have no love left for me, why keep having it around that beautiful neck of yours?)” he grabbed the necklace and looked you straight in the eye,”Hae vestran ziry iksos iā irudy uncle, jaelan naejot treasure se memories hen skori īlva lentor wasn't tōma seconds (Like I say it's a gift Uncle, I want to treasure the memories of when our family wasn't five seconds away from murdering each other)”,”īlva families sia va moriot sepār iā dorolvie seconds qrīdrughagon hen ossēnagon, mirre se sȳz memories skore issi mērī iā dorolvie issi lēda ao ( our families were always just a few seconds away from murder, all the good memories which are only a few are with you)”, you pulled Aemond’s hand of you, a quick glance to the window you noticed Jessamy again,”Nyke jorrāelagon freshen bē gō dinner, kesan ūndegon ao konīr (I need to freshen up before dinner, I will see you there) you said before leaving the room.
“The dress is lovely your highness,” Lucienne said with a smile as she pulls the laces of your Bodice together,” Morpheus gifted it to me,” you said looking at the mirror, the black velvet dress was truly stunning, the silver access on the sleeves which matches the silver on the bodice, it also suited your bump,” My Lady dinner is ready,” a maid said,” I will be there in a second”.
You walked into the dining hall, Aemond wasn't there yet neither was your grandfather, your mother and brothers were there alongside their betrotheds,” Sit beside me” Baela said patting the seat on her right, you sat down between her and Rhaena’s,” Congrats, I wanted to say it earlier but it didn't feel right” Baela said with a smile,” Are you excited for your weddings?” you asked,” I would be nervous, mostly because I doubt your husband knows were to put his cock” Aegon snarked,” Mind your tongue Uncle” Jace said trying to stay calm, Aegon was about to say something when the door swung open it was Aemond, he gave you a quick glance before sitting down at the end of the table beside Otto Hightower, soon after Visery’s was carried into the hall, he was sat beside his wife and your mother,” It’s so lovely to have dinner with you all together” he began,” But all it fuels me with sorrow, seeing these faces, the faces which are most dear me. You’ve grown so distant from each other” he began fiddling with the golden mask which covered the left side of his face, your eyes widen seeing how much the illness took over your beloved Grandfather, his eye socket was exposed and his cheek was hollow, it made your stomach turn,”My own face, isn’t longer a handsome one” he joked but the smile quickly disappeared as he continued to talk,”If it ever truly was, tonight I wish you to see me as I am, not just a king but as your father, brother, husband and Grandsire, who may not walk that much longer among you” he dropped the mask on the table,”Let us no longer hold our feelings in our hearts, the crown can’t stay strong if the house of dragon will remain divided, set aside your grievances and if not for the sake for the crown than for the sake of this old man” he cried, you bit your lip and looked at your King with a sad gaze,”Who loves you all, so dearly” his breath began picking up making you worried, he slowly sat back down with the help of Alicent. Your mother suddenly jumped up with a chalice in her hands,” I wish to raise my cup to her grace the Queen” you observed Alicent helping her husband with the mask before looking at Rhaenyra,” I love my father but I must admit that no one stood as loyal at his side than his dear wife. She tended to him with unfailing devotion, love and honour and for that, she has my gratitude..... and my apology” she sat back down,” Your graciousness moves be deeply Princess” Alicent said, her voice wavering with emotion.
After a couple more speeches the dinner began, it was lovely, you joked and laughed with Baela while Jace was dancing with Haelena, it was the only of the few times you saw her truly happy, the food was good, not as delicious as you have gotten used to in the dreaming,” Have you thought of names?” Baela asked,” I thought of Aemma” you said gaining Visery’s attention,” That would be a lovely name for my great-grandchild” he smiled making you grin,” What about if it’s a boy?”,” Leanor, after father” you smiled sadly cradling your belly,” Those are lovely names, my dearest y/n,” he said softly. Throughout the whole conversation, you could feel Aemond’s eye on you,” How long are you staying my love” Rhaenyra asked,” Morpheus is rather protective of me at the moment and desires me to return to him as soon as possible” you smiled taking a sip from your drink, suddenly Visery’s had a coughing fit making your smile drop,” You should rest Father” Rhaenyra said rubbing her father’s arm,” Bring him to his chamber” she ordered, you watched your Grandfather being carried out of the room, a weird feeling began bubbling in your chest suddenly a loud bang made you gasp, Aemond was on his feet with the chalice in hand,” Final Tribute, to the health of my nephews Jace, Luc and Joffery, Each of them handsome, wise -” he began, you knew what Aemond going to say next, everyone does but you hoped you are wrong but you weren't as the words you expect to fall from his lips did,” Strong” you swallowed, his mother called him by his name but he ignored her which didn’t come much of a surprise after Aemond confession to you that be would abondet his beloved mother to be with you but his grudge against your brothers was holding him back,”Come, let us drain our cups to 3 strong boys and hope that my darling nieces child will be as strong as her brothers are” you looked at the plate in front of you,” I dare you to say that again” Jace challenged,” It was only a compliment”,”Aemond, stop it” you warned,” Why? I thought you would have wanted a strong child, to keep the Tagaeyean blood strong, that’s why choose to be married to the tradition of our house” Aemond spat, “ Don’t talk to my sister like that” Jace warned,” Think of yourself strong” Aemond began but he was cut off by Jace punching him in the face,” Jace”” you gasped getting out of your seat, Lucerys got up to help but Aegon slammed his face into the table,” Aegon” you hissed pushing him of your bother, pulling him in your arms as you saw Aemond push Jace to ground, Jace was pulled back by some guards while Rhaena pulled her sister back.” Are you okay?” you whispered to Lucerys, who nodded in response.
“My Lady is everything okay?” Lucienne asked worriedly as you entered your room,” Yeah, I’m fine” you mumbled rubbing your belly,” Should I take their eyes now?” The Corinthian asked with a hopeful smirk,” Don’t touch any of them” you said with a glare,” My family is heading to Dragonstone, I want to join them tomorrow. Lucienne you be the only one joining me”,” What about me?”,” Corinthian you be going back to Dreaming, your constant want to take people's eye makes me uneasy” you said,” Before I go to sleep I want to visit my Grandfather” you said.
“Whose there?”,” It’s me, y/n”,” Ooh my dear grandchild, what do I own this pleasure” he smiled as you sat at the edge of his bed,” I just want to see you, I will be leaving for Dragonstone tomorrow”, he nodded,” How’s that husband, what’s his name again... Lord Morpheus? yes, how is he treating you?”,” He’s a dream, just perfect” you smiled,” What are you doing here this late?”Alicent voice said from behind,” I just wanted to see my Grandfather” you said standing up,” Your family has left for Dragonstone already”,” Yes, I am aware. I will be joining them in the morning, I like to spend the night, I’m exhausted” you said folding yours above your belly,” Than Princess you should rest” Alicent said,” Very well my Queen” you turned your Grandfather,” Goodnight my King”.
“You looked worried my love,” Morpheus said rubbing your belly, your back in Fiddlers Green sitting between Morpheus legs enjoying the breeze,” My family is a disaster, bad times are coming I can feel it” you sighed playing with Morpheus’s other hand,” Your Uncle gave you a hard time, should I give him some nightmares” he kissed your jaw gently,” No, he’s just angry. Bad dreams won’t change his character,” you said falling back into his chest,” I like this dream” Morpheus smiled down at you,” Just so you know, I stand with you, the Dreaming stands with you” you looked up at him,” Thank you”.
A loud commotion woke you from your dream, you furrowed your brows and grabbed your morning robe and walked towards the door to see what was going on, “What the-” you said as the door wouldn’t open,” Hello” you screamed banging on the door but you received no answer, you rushed towards the window and saw a bunch of people being escorted away, an uneasy feeling filled your chest,” Aemond?” you whispered after hearing the door open and shut, “Yes?” he said making you turn around,” What’s going on? Why was the door locked and where are these people being sent to?” you asked,” The King is dead” he said bluntly making your eyes widen, “My mother said that Father dying wish was to make my brother King” he continued,” He would never, why after 20 years change his mind?” you shook your head pulling the robe closer to your body,” Are you calling my mother a liar?”,”No, I’m saying there must be a misunderstanding, the King made my mother heir of the Iron Throne over 20 years ago, why change his mind now for a child he barely acknowledges” you said making Aemond clench his jaw,” You know what I am saying is the truth but you hatred to my family is blinding you once again dear Uncle”,”Dīnagon nyke, jaelzi aōha lentor morghe. Dīnilūks naejot nyke kessa spare ao hen execution (Marry me, they want your family dead. Marriage to me will spare you from execution)” he grabbed you by the shoulder,” Execution?” you whispered,”Pōnta ȳdra daor jaelagon mirre risk syt aegon's dīnagon hae dārys. Kostilus dīnagon nyke, kesan se riña iemnȳ hen ao hae mēre hen ñuha own (They don't want any risk for Aegon's place as King. Please marry me, I will care for the child inside of you as one of my own)” you shook your head,”Nyke rather morghūljagon than nāpāsagon ñuha lentor, aemond ēdi īlva chance, nyke jorrāelagon morpheus, daorun kostagon arlinnon bona sir. Kostilus mazōregon ziry ( I rather die than betray my family, Aemond we had our chance. I love Morpheus and nothing will change that and you need to accept it)” Aemond removes his hands from you,” I will be helping Cole to look for my brother, once am back I will be asking again, I don’t want to see you hurt” he said stroking your cheek, he walked out the door giving you a glimpse of Her Criston Cole who closed the door behind the Prince.
It was hours later when the door opened again but it wasn’t Aemond but it was one of the King's Guards,” What do you- Grandmother, Lucienne” you gasped seeing them being the guard,”Jeez, thank’s for the love” The Corinthian said,” Princess, I don’t agree with the crowning of Aegon as King, your mother should wear the crown. I have a boat ready for Dragonstone” he said handing you a cloak. He took you through the back, the streets of Kingslanding were crowded, and people were pushed towards the red keep by the watch, you grabbed Rhaeny’s hand harder so you don’t get lost in the crowd but the further you walked into Kingslanding the harder it gets to keep holding on, mostly since you had to hold on the hood of the cloak so you didn't reveal your identity to the watch but this lead being ripped from Rhaenys grip and being dragged back into the direction of Red Keep,” Y/N” you heard Lucienne’s voice call, you tried to turn around but you were kept further and further into the crowd.
You ended up in the dragon pit, Aegon’s coronation seemed to have been planned since way before Visery’s death. They planned to steal your mother’s birthright from the beginning, you clenched your jaw seeing Aegon being crowned with his namesake's crown, an idea popped into your head, and you squeezed yourself through the crowd. As you passed Sunfry his head moved towards you,”Shh, olvie Sunfry (Shh quite Sunfry)” you patted his golden head and moved further into the pit,”Meley's ao jorrāelagon naejot pāsagon nyke. Nyke dāez ao (Meley's you need to trust me. I free you.)” you said carefully approaching the older dragon, the she-dragon watched you closely as you removed her restraints. Lilith meanwhile was getting impatient, she began growling at the lack of interaction from you,”Nyke haven't forgotten nūmāzma ao, issi ao ready naejot cause mirri qrīdronnor? (I haven't forgotten about you, are you ready to cause some chaos?)” you chuckled pattering her head making her huff, you quickly removed her chains and mounted her back.
Aemond watched his brother being cheered at, he hid his anger of not being the one being crowed, the anger and worry about your fate. Aemond thoughts were brutally erupted by the sound of screaming, from the ground two Dragons emerged, Meley’s didn’t stay long, but Lilith landed directly in front of the new King. Fear began building inside Aegon as the black dragon slowly stalked towards him, Aemond felt Haelena’s hand on his arm, Aemond eye’s were on you, who was staring at Aegon and Alicent, a piercing scream left the dragon’s body sending shiver’s down the backs of both Alicent and Aegon who was clinging to his mother,”Emā ñuha udligon uncle (You have my answer Uncle)” you said turning your head to Aemond who swallowed, Lilith than turned and flew off. Alicent stared after you knowing that you were making your way to Dragonstone, to your mother.
“Princess Y/N of Dragonstone” Rhaenyra turned around, a weight lifted off her shoulders as she saw you unharmed,” Y/N” she whispered speeding towards you and engulfing you in a hug,” Rhaenys told us everything-”,” They crowned Aegon King, they gave him his namesake's sword and crown” you cut your mother off,” They stole your mother’s crown?” Daemon asked,” Aemond made me an offer, he proposed marriage as he’s worried that... that our lives might be in danger” Rhaenyra cradled her stomach,” If it makes you feel better I crashed the coronation with Lilith and Meley’s” you gave your mother a small smile which returned but it was quickly replaced by a hurt,” Mother, are you alright?” you asked crabbing her arms, she didn’t answer but just reached under her dress, “The baby is coming?” she said as her hand was covered in her own blood.
Your mother's screams filled Dragonstone, Lucienne was sitting beside you, reading a book to you in the hope to distract you from everything which is happening,” My Lady, your mother will be fine. I promise” she said giving your hand a squeeze,” I know, I more worried about my unborn sibling” you said rubbing your own belly, Lucienne was about to open her mouth when Daemon barged into the room,” Send a raven out to your husband, he should gather his men”,” Gather his men?” you asked confused, Daemon sighed and placed his hand on the sword Morpheus gifted him,” We are going to war Princess, your mother’s crown has been stolen from right under her. Do you think I would let this slide?” he asked,” You are my mother’s consort, nothing more don’t start a war which she hasn’t approved of Daemon” you said,” Just send out that damm raven” he said before leaving the room,” Lucienne send words to my husband” you said staring into the flames,” My Lady?”,” Just tell him to be prepared, Daemon has a point, my mother’s birthright has been stolen from her but until my mother approves nothing will happen” you said making Lucienne nod and close the book gently.

took me a while but here we are!
The Red Keep was not yet complete, but still had enough room for them to stay. Maegor felt it would be better, as Dragonstone was far too intimate. He was the prince of Dragonstone, it was his birthright, it was his home, it was a part of him he wanted to keep to himself. Ceryse had been quite ill since they had returned to the capital, his mother had hoped it was the early signs of pregnancy, but a visit from Grand Maester Gawen proved it was just a simple fever she would get over. He didn’t blame her, the change must’ve been quite jarring. He finally understood why Rowan always preferred Oldtown to King’s Landing, the city was beautiful compared to the clumsy, evergrowing capital.
As the weeks went by, he was trying to keep his anger at bay, but it was becoming more and more difficult. Maegor tried not to resent his wife, he really did. After all, Ceryse didn’t want this either- they were stuck with each other. He tried to get to know her, to at least become her friend, just as she had asked him, just as his mother had asked him, but it all felt so bitter. Everytime he learned something new about her when they dined together, he would hold his breath. She had so much, too much in common with Rowan, to the point where it was a constant reminder of who he almost had. This constant almost was driving him insane, suffocating him. They both loved the seven, Ceryse would also go to the sept on the same days Rowan did, how they were interested in the same topics of study, how her favourite book was one Rowan had mentioned a few times- it was too much.
It was cruel of him perhaps, but he avoided her. If it hurt Ceryse, she didn’t show it. He had hoped she didn’t mind that he only visited her at night. It angered him how good sex felt, but he could find ways to make it more bearable. If he took her on her knees, he didn’t have to look at her, he could close his eyes and pretend. She didn’t seem to mind it, perhaps even preferred to not have to look at him. She seemed satisfied at the end, he could at least tell himself that.
If he were to be King, he’d need an heir. To take the throne without one would cast uncertainty upon him. He was visiting Ceryse most nights of the week, he’d have one soon. Another bittersweet thought. He had longed for fatherhood. He hated how jealous he was of his brother, seeing him with his three children, playing, laughing. He had told himself he would give Rowan that big family she always wanted and he’d be the one playing with his sons and daughters, helping them walk and talk, watching them grow up… But now he had to deal with the cards he’s been given. Despite it not being with Rowan, he would love all his children and never put them through what his father put him through.
These days he had thrown himself into his knighthood, earning himself a ruthless reputation, one he’d need to gain support in the future. In the days he’d train and fight, in the nights he’d dine with and sleep with Ceryse, then finally lie awake in his chambers, staring at the ceiling. Things would get better, they had to. She wasn’t a bad person, she just wasn’t Rowan, and that wasn’t her fault. But he’d make her a Queen, hopefully that would make things more bearable for her as well.
He sighed, turning to his bedside table, opening the drawer, grabbing the newest, and possibly last thing in his collection. The handkerchief with her lip stain from that night. It still smelled like her, he was careful with it, it was too precious. He pressed his lips onto it, closing his eyes to imagine, to not forget what her soft lips felt like. He didn’t feel guilty about it anymore. In his eyes, this was the most intimate way he could have her, he didn’t care if it was dirty and obsessive. It was all he had of her now, he would cherish all the little stolen pieces.
Maegor lowered his trousers and removed his shirt. He wasted no time to pump himself hard with a low groan. He only felt comfortable making any noise all alone, with only his Rowan in his mind, imagining what delicious sounds she’d be making. In this fantasy, he felt safe. In his dreams, she’d be on her knees, giving him that innocent look while caressing his cock, trying to take him all in with a moan. He’d grab a fistful of her curls, helping guide her, relishing in her moans around him vibrating. He let out another growl, his cock now covered in his precum. He thought of how much he wanted to grab onto her breasts, to play with them, to lick them up while she fell apart under him. He knew she’d feel so soft, it was torture. Her hands were always so soft, thanks to her creams, he wanted to feel them all over him, in contrast to his own rough hands. That sweet scent of jasmine sent him to his release with a low moan.
It was a relief before a hot bath. He’d help her wash her hair, with those expensive soaps and oils she loved so dearly. She’d kiss him, she loved the kisses, he wouldn’t forget how eager and excited she was that night. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for her. He sighed again.
Ceryse didn’t expect to feel so literally homesick to the point of a fever. She thanked the seven it was gone within a few days. At least she had a bit of an excuse to not have to interact with her new family that much. Things were now official. This was her home now, for the rest of her days. Maegor was Prince of Dragonstone, but he made it clear they were to stay in the capital. She could make peace with that. Alyssa was kind, making a point to at least chat with her when they crossed paths. Aenys did so as well, they both made for great company. They had mentioned they were to go on a royal progression around the realm in a few moons, wanting to bring along little Rhaena and Aegon, baby Viserys being way too little to be far from home for half a year.
She dreaded their departure, as she saw them as the only approachable people in her new family. Her husband did his best to avoid her and she was almost happy about it. Things were awkward when they tried to talk, but it was something. At least the sex was good. He asked her about herself a bit, but he never talked about himself. She concluded that his relationship with his family was very strained, save for his mother.
The Queen had requested they break their fast together and she was beyond nervous. Part of her hoped that Maegor would join them, but then again, how much help would he provide? She was dressed in her most proper of morning dresses, paying extra attention to appear perfect, for fear the Queen would find any flaw to chastise her for. She hadn’t given her any reason for this fear, but she also never had a full conversation with her, and she’d been married to her son for a moon and a half.
She followed the maid to the Queen’s chambers in complete silence, trying to appear calm as she presented herself to her goodmother, who was already sitting at the table, in front of her a ridiculous amount of food. Ceryse courtsied, offering her a small smile.
“Goodmorning, your grace.”
“Come, join me.” she said, gesturing at the chair across from her.
The maid left, closing the door behind her, leaving Ceyse to walk to her seat nervously. Queen Visenya seemed to be in a pleasant mood, easing her worry a bit.
“I trust you’re feeling better now?”
“Yes, your grace, all is well now.”
“Good.” she said. “How are you finding King’s Landing?”
“It’s a lovely city. The palace is gorgeous, I’m sure it’ll be even more beautiful once it’s finished.” Ceryse smiled.
“And Maegor? How are you finding life with him so far?”
The question made her freeze a bit, hoping the Queen did not notice, or at least would not bring it up. How did she find life with him? If she was honest he was just the man she slept with and had awkward chats before the act. She barely knew anything about him, but it felt like he was interrogating her. Of course she wouldn’t tell her that.
“He’s a gentleman.” she concluded.
He was cordial enough to not be brutal with her, the way she heard many husbands were with their wives. He did his duty and left. What more could she expect? He was no charming lord that she would hope to end up with, but here they were. The Queen seemed sceptical, but said nothing. She knew her son better than anyone, it was obvious that he was no gentleman, but what answer was she truly expecting? Visenya was quiet for a bit longer, as if waiting for Ceryse to continue, but she had nothing to add. She barely knew the man.
“I’m glad you two are getting along.” she didn’t sound convinced at all.
Ceryse only nodded, taking a bite of her bread, trying to pretend the air wasn’t awkward.
“I heard you’re acquainted with some ladies in court, Lady Tyrell was it?”
“Yes, Lady Lana and Lady Rowan, I’ve known them for quite some time.”
Queen Visenya paused again for a moment, her eyes scanning her face, her mouth trying not to form a frown. Did she not approve?
“Is something the matter, your grace?” she asked, almost afraid of the answer.
“It’s good that you’re making friends.” the Queen replied plainly.
Another brief silence. Ceryse was confused. Why did the Queen even invite her for breakfast when she so clearly did not want her there? Her expression became unreadable, leaving her to worry if she had accidentally done something to offend her, but she tried to focus on the fruits on her plate, so she could eventually be excused.
The Queen took a sip of her water, her deep violet eyes scanning her gooddaughter up and down, making Ceryse want to sink into her seat, no matter how unladylike. Her gaze was cold and harsh, as if she was telling her she disapproved of her without having to say the words. It was unnerving, for what had she done to garner such hostility? She was not the one who pursued her son, nor the one who suggested this, though she supposed her uncle would be considered part of her for the Queen. The silence felt deafening, making her want to say something to break it, but it would be quite rude of her to do so.
“Things might be distant for you and Maegor now, but it will be better once you have children. They will bring you two closer.” the Queen concluded.
Ceryse supposed that was true. Once they had children, she’d have someone else to completely focus on and, as rude as it was to think, she could ignore Maegor. He still scared her, if she was honest. But she tried not to think about it much, seeing as soon she would be with child, with the rate he was visiting her to try for one.
“I’m sure that will be the case, my Queen.” Ceryse said, offering her a kind smile.
She supposed this was her trying to reassure her, in some strange way, that things would be alright. Ceryse couldn’t be sure. Both the Queen and the King were so strange to her. They were unlike anyone else she’d ever met, but she supposed that was the way of Old Valyria, or something of that sort. She thought maybe for them, the rest of Westeros was a strange place.
After the painfully awkward breakfast, Ceryse found relief in the gardens, which were still unfinished but lovely nonetheless. Lana Tyrell was great company, always fun and cheerful, brightening the day.
“I do not envy you. The whole thing sounds painful, if I’m honest.” Lana said, twirling a curl of her long brown hair, that was always so shiny.
“It’s alright, I’ll get used to it eventually. I just hope all goes smoothly.” Ceryse sighed. “Let’s talk of something lighter.”
“Hmm… Let’s see… Oh! Have you heard about that Tully squire?”
Time didn’t feel real since the wedding. Her father tried taking her around Oldtown, visiting some cousins, sitting by the sea, but he could tell his daughter was being weighed down by the sadness. Rowan felt truly empty, not having the energy she used to, losing appetite, wishing to spend all day in bed. Coming home was the best thing she could ask for, feeling the safety of the familiar warmth of her room gave her a tiny bit of comfort. She tried her best to not let her pain show, not wanting to make her family worry, but Erin always saw right through her.
Erin was just two years younger than her, but they always seemed to be on the same page. They were truly like sisters- all of her cousins felt like her siblings. Her family was the most precious in her heart and she would hate to worry them. Her father was already worried enough. It made her feel so guilty, that her sorrow was dragging him along, and now Erin took notice. From the second she stepped foot back home, she knew something was wrong and was not buying the excuse that she was just exhausted from the long trip.
Rowan held the blankets close, not wanting to leave her tear stained pillow. She finally felt safe enough to cry, to mourn, as the days went by and she wouldn’t wake up from the nightmare, her bed was her safe haven. She still had her things to unpack, but perhaps she would wait, to use it as an excuse if she felt too overwhelmed around everyone, especially Erin, who would soon be asking questions. She was too afraid to say things out loud, for fear it would make the pain even worse, but she couldn’t avoid it for much longer.
“Do you plan on staying in there forever?” Erin asked from the door.
Rowan let out a sigh. There was no running now.
“I’m still tired, I’ll come downstairs in a bit.” she said, hoping her cousin wouldn’t push.
Erin closed the door and her footsteps were coming closer to the bed. Rowan felt her weight on the bed and turned to lay on her back, just as Erin was. They both laid there in silence for some time, only the sound of the birds chirping outside filling the air.
“Will you tell me what happened?” her cousin whispered.
Rowan shrugged. She never told anyone of her feelings, the only one aware being her father, who swore he wouldn’t tell. Erin knew she had a crush on someone in the capital, but she never opened up about it. She trusted her cousin, truly, but it was still a scary thing to confess out loud. But would someone even want to hear of her shattered heart? How she missed him beyond any words could ever describe and how much it felt like a stab to the heart to see him wed to someone else? Just thinking about it would be enough to reduce her to tears again.
“Did something happen in Oldtown?” she asked.
“It happened far before Oldtown. It’s a long story.” she replied.
Maybe it would be best if she told someone not so involved. Maybe it would even be cathartic.
“I’ve got no plans for a few days.” Erin smiled.
“Well…” she trailed.
So she told her everything. About the crush she had on the Prince of Dragonstone that grew into the strongest most pure love she’d ever felt in her entire life, about all the little things about him that made her swoon, about their kiss after the ball, the promise of them marrying, then when reality beat the all hope out of her, about the hell it was to watch him say those vows she dreamed of to someone else, even worse, to a friend, about how she felt she was losing herself ever since she lost him, even though he was never truly hers to lose. Erin remained silent, holding her while she sobbed in her arms. It did feel like a small weight was lifted, but the sorrow felt even heavier now.
Erin let Rowan cry it out for a bit, giving her the courtesy to not make any sarcastic comments, at least not yet. She pulled herself together, pulling away from her arms, finally getting out of bed. Erin didn’t push, nor ask anything further, choosing to sit in silence until her cousin washed her face and dressed.
“I understand why you didn’t tell me, it’s a lot.” she heard her say as she put on the top layer of her dress. “I won’t tell a soul, I swear it. But I will try to cheer you up.” she offered a sympathetic smile.
“Thank you, Erin, in truth. I’m sorry for just dumping all of that on you… I never told anyone the whole of it.”
“Not even uncle Duncan?” Erin gasped.
“Not everything, but he knows enough.” Rowan managed a small smile.
“I feel special then!” she laughed. “Don’t worry, if I ever see the Prince, I shall beat him up!”
That made Rowan chuckle. Erin would never try, in truth, but she still appreciated the principle.
The two girls walked downstairs to the dining room which was now empty, the family having already finished breakfast. She felt much better as they walked into the empty kitchens, and she grabbed a piece of freshly baked bread, spreading some berry jam over it, the sweetness making her feel a bit better. Finn would be with her uncle, no doubt. He was now twenty, and had been following his father around since he could walk, and seeing as now he was old enough to oversee the affairs of the house, he was always with uncle Lucas. Max and Lewis were probably having lessons with the maester, and five year old Archie was probably with her aunt Maura. Her father would be catching up with his brother, telling him of the trade he had conducted in his absence, and all the wood they would supply to which lord.
“We’re running out of jam.” she noted. “Would you join me in gathering some berries? blueberries and blackberries are in season.”
Rowan wanted to venture into the forest. It would clear her mind, the fresh air, the beautiful nature would help heal her heart. As long as she stayed away from a specific spot.
“I’d fancy a walk. It’ll do you some good.” Erin said, examining the half full jar of jam.
“Would you mind taking the boys with you?” the voice of her aunt Maura startled them. “Good morning girls.” she smiled.
“Morning aunt Maura.” Rowan smiled. “Sure, we’ll go once we finish our late breakfast.”
“But if they’re annoying we’re leaving them in the woods.” Erin clarified, earning a chuckle from her cousin.
“Behave young lady.” aunt Maura said sternly, but not without humour. “It’s nice to have you back my dear. We’ll make the jam together once you return.” she smiled. “And do not leave your brothers alone Erin.” she laughed, pulling her daughter’s cheek, as she fake-protested.
“And did you get to see the black dread?” Lewis asked, his fascination with dragons growing.
“I only saw him from afar, I’m sorry to disappoint.” Rowan smiled.
“You’ve been around them for ten years, how are you still afraid of them?” Erin jabbed.
“They’re not dogs, Erin, they’re really scary! And the black dread is huge, even from a distance!” Rowan countered, smacking her cousin lightly. “When you see them, by all means, be all brave and approach them. Just let me know in advance so we can prepare your funeral.”
“Oh come on, you’ve never been curious what it’s like to fly? To touch the clouds?” Erin asked, staring up at the sky.
“It would be so amazing!” Max said, following along. “I wonder what clouds feel like!”
“Soft, probably. You know, maybe the Targaryens truly are closer to the gods than to men. I would certainly feel like a god to fly above it all.” Erin sighed.
“Father said nobody can reach the gods.” Max countered.
“Not even people on fire breathing dragons?” Erin asked, nudging Rowan gently.
“They’re still just like us, you know. They breathe and bleed like the rest of us boring civilians, the only difference is the dragons.” Rowan offered, pensive.
They never felt like gods to her. They were just like the other people in her life, but that was perhaps because she grew up around them, Visenya being like the mother she lost, Maegor her best friend, she never had to face their wrath the way the rest of Westeros had to. She supposed if that’s the image of them she was presented with, she’d also see them as closer to gods, blasphemous as it felt to think that.
“See?” Max gloated, seeing that his cousin was on his side and stuck his tongue out to Erin.
“It’s silly to think so Erin!” little Lewis chimed in the teasing.
“Careful now boys, don’t make me leave you here all alone!” Erin frowned. “Did I not tell you about those little boys who annoyed their sister so much that she did just that? Left them all alone in the woods in the dark, and they were never seen again?” she asked, as seriously as she could muster.
“You wouldn’t do that! Mum would kill you!” Lewis fought, until the fear set in. “You wouldn’t do that, right?” his little voice whimpered slightly.
“Don’t fall for it Lewis, she’s trying to scare you.” Max whined.
“I don’t know guys, it’ll get dark soon. You know what we say about being out here in the dark?” Rowan added with concern.
Much to Erin’s delight and amusement, the colour on Max’s face drained and Lewis almost shrieked. She and Rowan shared a laugh, and the boys seemed to lighten up, the more they realised it was just a jest.
“Careful now, we might change our minds!” Erin laughed.
The afternoon was spent lightly, three baskets of blackberries and blueberries filled, the sun offering a gentle warmth behind the clouds. Rowan was able to distract herself enough to feel joy again, thanking the gods for her family again and again. There was still light outside when they came back to the manor, her aunt Maura already preparing all that was needed to make the jam. The boys ran off to play, little Archie excitedly following them along to join in.
Rowan joined her aunt in the kitchens, Erin running off after helping wash all today’s gatherings. Her aunt seemed relieved that her spirits had returned. Cooking was always such a calming activity for her, her aunt’s company helping greatly.
“It smells delicious in here. Might there be any fresh blueberries left for me to steal?” Finn asked, walking into the room, next to his father.
“Ah, you’re back! Yes, yes, in that bowl.” her aunt smiled. “How is honey coming along, love?”
“All as we planned. A lot more than last year.” uncle Luke beamed, ruffling Rowan’s hair when he passed her to place a small kiss on his wife’s lips.
“Well rested, Rowan?” Finn asked, scanning the bowl for the best berries to snack on.
“Yeah.” she smiled, wondering if he also saw right through her.
“Good. You should join us tomorrow, we’re going to harvest the honey.” he gave her a knowing smile, as if knowing it would take her mind off of things.
It was late fall, it was time to harvest the hives, and there were a lot of them. It was great fun to assist in the process, now that she was older she could be much more helpful. Their honey was her favourite, as snobbish as it was to have a favourite honey. She always had jars upon jars with her when she was not home, Maegor would tease her relentlessly for it. No- no, she should take her mind off of him, or at the very least try. Work would help shift her focus.
Visenya smiled when Aegon held her by the waist to lead her to the dining room for dinner. Little pieces of affection were so golden to her, now that she got them so often, the brighter the gold shined. As the doors opened, everyone rose when the King and Queen entered and sat at the table. Soon, dinner was served.
She looked around the table at her family. Maegor was only staring at his plate, not talking to anyone. Aenys and Alyssa were including her gooddaughter in their conversation, so at least she was not left all alone. She could see her son’s temper becoming shorter and shorter, she did not wish to push him to play polite. Aegon was doting on his grandchildren, particularly spoiling Rhaena, who reminded him so much of Rhaenys, it almost made her frown. They spoiled those kids too much.
“With the royal progress approaching, I have an announcement to make, that I wish you all to know first.” Aegon spoke loudly and clearly, getting everyone’s attention, making Visenya raise a brow. “I have been in more processions than I can count, all over our Kingdoms. It is time, I believe, for my heir and his family to carry on without me. Half a year is a long time to stay away from home, and I wish to spend my time ruling here.” he said, turning to look at Visenya with a smile. “Aenys, Alyssa, you’ve been with me to so many of these, you know what to do. Take Quicksilver with you, my son.”
The table went quiet, Aenys smiling brightly at his father’s trust in him to continue on his legacy, Alyssa as well.
“I will not let you down, father!” he beamed, smiling at Alyssa and his children.
The mood became chatty and pleasant again, with Aegon offering tips to Aenys and his wife. Visenya knew better than to expect Maegor to share the joy, a simple look at him being enough to almost see steam coming out of his ears. Ceryse seemed to notice, but was hesitant to even acknowledge it. Smart girl.
After dinner was over, she and Aegon retired to their now shared chambers, how strange it felt to refer to it as theirs. They didn’t even have time to settle down before the guard announced the presence of their son wishing to talk to them. This would not end well if she left the two alone. Things were still very rocky.
“Maegor, to what do we owe the pleasure?” Aegon asked, still joyful from the dinner.
“I wish to ask you for something.” Maegor said, making it sound more of a demand than a question. “I wish to go to the procession as well.”
The request caught both of them by surprise, the room falling into tense silence.
“Why?” Aegon asked, the joy gone, suspicion on his face.
“Aenys will need protection.”
“And the two kingsguard will not suffice? Nor the small army of knights that will accompany them? Nor Quicksilver?” he raised a brow, crossing his arms.
Maegor was silent, fury brewing beneath the surface. Visenya was genuinely caught off guard by the request. Did her son perhaps wish to also be known by the people as the next in line to the throne, even if the King did not recognise him as such? It was foolish to ask, then again, her son was not really thinking very rationally these days.
“You’re to stay here, perform your duties as both Prince and knight. I will hear no more of this, Maegor, do you understand me?” Aegon asked, not as a father, as a King.
She hated when he did this.
Maegor scowled, giving a tiny nod, but Aegon did not appear satisfied. He approached their son, eyeing him carefully.
“I know you’re still upset, Maegor, but just because you wish to see her again is not enough of a reason to abandon your wife in the capital. It’s most unbecoming of you.” Aegon sighed.
That caught both mother and son by surprise, making their eyes go wide. The procession would pass by Oldtown, only a short trip away from the mountains of Starfall. Was that truly the reason Maegor had? The comment seemed to anger him even more. She wanted to shake some sense into her husband, could he not see what he was doing? Poking a dragon with a stick and expecting there to be no fire?
“That is not what this is.” was all Maegor could calmly offer.
“I’m not blind, I can see how this has changed your attitude, and I must say it’s embarrassing to see you behave like a spoiled child over this. Has this Rowan girl blinded your senses this much, to the point where you act like an angry animal?” Aegon asked, his temper running thin.
But Maegor’s had run out completely.
“Don’t you dare bring her name into this!” he yelled, making Visenya stand between the two men to stop whatever was about to start.
“You’re clearly affected by this beyond what I expected. You know what? If it affects you so much, I’ll invite her back to court permanently, have her as your paramour, as long as you sire no bastards.” Aegon said, moreso to anger their son even more.
“I would never defile her honour! Never!” he growled in rage, the only thing holding him back from attacking his father, being his mother who was physically restraining him.
“If it fixes this rotten attitude you’ve been having, I’d be more than happy for you to do so.” Aegon spat out.
Visenya could not stop what happened next. Maegor shook her hands off of him and jumped at his father’s throat, landing a punch directly on his face. She gasped, running to separate them before the guards heard anything else. She managed to drag Maegor off of Aegon, and pushed him away.
“Go to your chambers, now. We’ll speak of this tomorrow, when everyone is calm.” she ordered.
Maegor scowled even more, nodding at his mother’s command. The second he left, she turned to her husband, who was still on the floor, wiping the blood off of his face. He was surprised at his own son’s sheer strength. He was spending so much time with Aenys, he forgot what true blood of the dragon looked like.
“What in the seven hells was that? You see how his temper has become and you push him on purpose? A simple no would have been more than enough. Why the hell would you suggest such a thing, Aegon?” Visenya all but yelled at him.
“He needs to do a better job to not behave like a child, Visenya. He’s a man grown, sulking like a boy because of this girl.” he answered, getting up to find his sleepwear.
“This girl is like a daughter to me, and you know this. I don’t know what you think you’re doing with these provocations on your own son, but I will not stand to hear this bullshit from you.” she spat. “Tomorrow you’ll both apologise for both of your pathetic conduct, and we shall never speak of this again, do you understand me?” she asked, walking right in front of him.
Aegon sighed.
“You’re right.”

BOOK A READING | FEEDBACK FORM | TIP JAR
𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝: Tarot Of The Divine: Inspired By Deities, Folklore & Fairytales From Around The World.
Four Of Wands: You may be getting some goods news, y'all !! The Four Of Wands is generally a very happy card. Whatever this is, this is gonna be different for all of you, whether it's a reunion with an old friend, a lover or a family member you've been wanting to reconnect with, a success, going to a cool party or a cool place, maybe even for some of y'all I'm& getting that y'all could even be getting engaged or married & whatever this is, that's awesome !! I& feel like a lot of y'all feel like you won't deserve this, but I'm& telling you, you absolutely do. You don't need to "earn" happiness no matter what anybody tells you, that's your birthright. I& need you to cherish that moment, fuck the past, fuck the future, this is YOUR moment. This is pure happiness. You deserve this. Rejoice. India could be significant to you, Indian culture could be significant to you, you yourself could be Indian or have Indian ancestry, the deity Mohini (the only female avatar of the deity Vishnu) and Aravan (he appears in the Hindu epic Mahabharata, the son of Pandava prince Arjuna one of the main heroes of Mahabharata & the Naga princess Ulupi, he is the central deity of the religion of Kuttantavar & plays a major role in the sect of Draupadi, he's worshipped in the form of his severed head as an offering to the goddess Kali to ensure the success of the Pandavas & is believed to cure diseases & induce pregnancy in childless women, & is worshipped as a village deity, a patron god of well known trans and/or intersex and/or eunuch communities in India called Alis, Aravani in Tamil & Hijra throughout South Asia such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh & Nepal although the Hijra community in India prefer to call themselves Kinnar or Kinner while in Pakistan, they are called Khawaja Sira, that originated in ancient Hinduism & evolved during the Delhi Sultanate from 1226-1526 to the Mughal Empire from 1526-1707 where they were servants for elite households, manual laborers, military commanders, political advisors, & guardians of the harem, most of whom are AMAB though occasionally intersex & have a feminine gender expression; on the night before the battle, Aravan expressed a desire to get married before he died, no woman was willing to marry a man doomed to die in a few hours, so Mohini married him, hijras claim Aravan as their progenitor and call themselves aravanis) could be significant (I&... IF THIS APPLIES TO A LOVE SITUATION ARE Y'ALL T4T), you yourself could be a Hijra, you could be Hindu or follow deities from Hinduism. The number 4 could be significant, but then again, this IS the 4th month of the year. The Suit of Wands represents the Fire element so Aries, Sagittarius & Leo could be important. Whatever it is, have fun !
The Moon: This is extremely ironic considering this question represents the moon & your subconscious. I& feel like you may have a lot of hidden feelings about this situation or a person. I& think you spent so long thinking everything isn't going to work out that when finally something or someone that does come around that makes you happy, you're afraid. I& feel like for a lot of y'all, y'all are some real melancholic anguished people. Maybe it's because of a past wound, a mistake, insecurity or for some of you maybe even a trauma that tells you don't deserve happiness especially regarding this situation or you feel like it's gonna be torn & ripped away from you & that's honestly really sad. You deserve to feel good about yourself & your life. I& ironically enough get a lot of traumatized people who come to my& readings & I'm& a DID system so that shouldn't be too surprising, I& guess. The number 18 could be significant, whether it's a day, a lifepath or a birthday. Japan could be significant, Japanese culture could be significant, you yourself could be Japanese or have Japanese heritage yourself, the Princess Kaguya from either traditional Japanese folklore and/or Naruto could be significant, tanukis could be significant, too. The Moon is ruled by Cancer so you could be a Cancerian or have those placements.
King Of Cups: You need to address your compassion for yourselves my& loves. See, how this story goes with the Boy & The Dragon Pearl is that this fierce, powerful dragon was once a little boy. I& think you have to delve into your past wounds & ask yourself why you feel this way & why you feel the ways that you do. Dragons are highly sacred creatures in Chinese mythology & they are powerful & wise, but instead of controlling & breathing fire like their Western counterparts, these dragons manipulate water. Your consciousness wants you to address your life & what brought you here & have patience & compassion for yourself above all else. You already have the potential to become this glorious dragon. You deserve devotion, loyalty, & faithfulness & generosity towards yourself & if you have a partner or for the ones who could be getting engaged or married, let them in. If they love you, they'll be there. You don't have to do this alone anymore. Let this person (or people) help you. China could be significant, Chinese culture could be significant, you yourself could be Chinese and/or have Chinese ancestry, dragons may be significant to you, you or someone significant to you could've been born on the Year of The Dragon (1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, for some people I'm getting you or someone you know could even be pregnant & your baby or the baby of someone you know will be born in 2024) you yourself could be dragonkin if you resonate with the otherkin or alterhuman label, if you're a system you could have dragon system members, and the Suit of Cups controls the Water element so Cancer, Scorpio & Pisces may be significant, which is ironic because I'm& both a Cancerian & a Dragon so I& needed that too, ehehe.
The Tower: This just confirmed my& suspicions, yeah. The Tower represents a massive change, an upheaval, a catastrophe, a revelation or sometimes even trauma. I& feel like for a lot of you, you need to let whatever this traumatic incident go in order to advance in your life. Believe me&, I& know how hard that is, I'm& not saying this is gonna happen overnight, & this isn't me& saying "shut up & get over it", this is me& saying "if you're going to see everyone the way you did this situation, it's not going to end well & you may end up pushing people who are genuinely trying to help you away" but you're going to need to at least try & work on whatever this incident was. Whatever it was, this was unfair to you & it didn't deserve to happen to you. It's okay to leave this behind so you can move forward in your life. But you don't have to face this alone, okay? There are people who are willing to help you. If you need it & have the means, contact a therapist and/or a medical professional. The number 16 could be significant, the Tower is ruled by Aries so that could be significant which is ironic because this is Aries season, Germany may be significant to you, German culture could be significant, you yourself could be German or have German ancestry, the Princess Rapunzel could be significant as well (for some of you, maybe you even have long hair, whether it's natural or wigs ehehe!), I'm& getting for some of y'all, the movie Tangled could be significant & it may have some subliminal messages for you.
The Sun: With the tower crumbling down, the sun will always rise again & again. You can begin a new life for yourself. As Ethel Cain once said, "if it's meant to be, it will be". I& know it's hard but you can do it. Your path can have illumination, satisfaction, optimism & enthusiasm. You can feel joy again. Everything is going to be okay. The number 19 could be significant to you, Egypt could be significant to you, Egyptian culture may be significant, you yourself could be Egyptian, the Egyptian sun deity Ra could be significant or you may even work with him as a devotee or he may be reaching out to you & want to work with you, you yourself could be a Kemetic.
The Hierophant: The Sun, Moon, Past & Future want you to know that you have to balance yourself in order to walk this new path & grow from your experiences. The Hierophant represents tradition, compassion & legacy; there is a place for everyone & everyone has a place in the world. I& can confirm this. As an indigenous person, I've& been taught by my& elders that everyone & everything has a place in the world. Connect to your community & likeminded people, connect (or reconnect if applicable) to your culture(s) & if you have a faith with a spiritual leader that you trust, seek their advice. Help people out & especially those in need if you have the means to do so. Let your loved ones know you love them & how much they mean to you. The number 5 could be significant, you yourself could be indigenous to Turtle Island / North America or have indigenous ancestry (hi bestie!!!!), some of you may be Lakota yourselves, & the White Buffalo Woman could be significant to you. If you're Native, do me& a favor & smudge the shit out of your space besties. For the rest of you, protect Native women & hold Native girls, women & Two Spirits in your hearts.

However, you are not alone. Birthright Victoria is there to provide compassionate care and essential resources to help you navigate this unexpected journey.
This blog will explore how pregnancy support services in Victoria, BC, can provide valuable assistance and empower you to make informed decisions about your options.
Understanding Unplanned Pregnancy

What Do Pregnancy Support Centers Offer?
1. Confidential Counselling and Support
One of the most significant benefits of visiting a pregnancy support center is the opportunity for confidential counselling. Experienced professionals provide a safe space to express your feelings, fears, and concerns. They can help you process your emotions, explore options, and find clarity amidst the chaos. Whether you want to discuss parenting, adoption, or abortion, these counsellors are there to listen without judgement and provide support tailored to your situation.
2. Pregnancy Testing and Ultrasound Services
Most pregnancy support centers offer free pregnancy tests to confirm your pregnancy status. Birthright Victoria offers free pregnancy testing in Victoria, BC. This information can be instrumental in helping you make informed decisions about your next steps. Knowing more about your pregnancy can help you better understand the options available and the timeline.
3. Educational Resources
Knowledge is power, especially when facing an unplanned pregnancy. These centers often provide educational resources covering various topics, such as prenatal care, childbirth, and parenting classes. These resources equip you with valuable information, helping you prepare for the challenges ahead. Many centers also host workshops and support groups, fostering community and connection with others who share similar experiences.
4. Material Assistance
Pregnancy support centers understand the financial burden that can accompany an unplanned pregnancy. They offer material assistance, including baby clothes, diapers, formula, and other essential supplies. Some centers even have programs that assist with medical expenses or housing resources. This support can alleviate financial stress and ensure you have what you need to care for your baby.
5. Referrals and Community Connections
Pregnancy support centers often collaborate with local organizations and resources to provide comprehensive support. If you need additional services, such as healthcare, housing assistance, or legal advice, your support center can connect you with professionals in those fields. They can help you navigate the various community resources available to ensure you receive the necessary care.
Your Options When Facing an Unplanned Pregnancy
1. Parenting
If you choose to continue your pregnancy and become a parent, a pregnancy support center can provide guidance and resources to help you prepare. They can connect you with parenting classes, prenatal care, and support networks to help you feel more confident in your decision. Birthright will be by your side throughout your journey. They provide the support you need and guidance on available resources within the local community.
2. Adoption
Adoption is another option for those who may not be ready or able to parent. Pregnancy support centers can help you explore this choice, offering information on different types of adoption, the process involved, and how to find a loving family for your child. They can connect you with adoption agencies that can support you throughout the journey. Although Birthright Victoria is not an adoption agency, it can provide guidance and valuable insight into the adoption process.
3. Abortion
Abortion might seem like the easiest solution to an unplanned pregnancy, but it's important to remember that there are no simple answers. You may feel pressured to choose abortion, whether it's due to a lack of support, financial concerns, or external pressure from others. You might feel as though abortion is your only option, even if it's not what you truly want. However, it's essential to know that you do have choices. Birthright Victoria is here to listen, help you explore the reasons behind your decision, and guide you through alternative pregnancy options that may better suit your needs.
The Importance of Making Informed Decisions
The decision you make regarding your unplanned pregnancy is deeply personal and should be made based on accurate information and your circumstances. Remember, no matter your choice, you deserve support and respect throughout the process.

Why Did Rebekah Favor Jacob?
The story of Rebekah, Isaac, and their twin sons, Esau and Jacob, unfolds in the book of Genesis, specifically chapters 25 to 36. Rebekah’s preference for Jacob over Esau is a significant aspect of their narrative, reflecting deeper themes of divine purpose, family dynamics, and cultural values. This article explores the reasons behind Rebekah’s favoritism toward Jacob, examining biblical texts and their implications.
The Prophecy of the Elder Serving the Younger
One of the primary reasons for Rebekah’s favoritism can be traced back to the prophecy she received during her pregnancy. When Rebekah was expecting twins, she experienced a tumultuous pregnancy and sought God for answers.
Genesis 25:22-23 states: “But the children struggled together within her; and she said, ‘If it is thus, why is this happening to me?’ So she went to inquire of the Lord. And the Lord said to her, ‘Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.'”
This prophetic revelation indicated that Jacob, the younger son, would have a special role and prominence, foreshadowing his future as the father of the Israelite nation. Rebekah, understanding the divine plan, may have felt compelled to support Jacob in fulfilling his destiny.
Cultural and Familial Context
In the ancient Near Eastern culture, the firstborn son typically received the birthright, which included a double portion of the inheritance and a leadership role within the family. However, God’s reversal of this norm, as seen in His declaration to Rebekah, set a precedent for Jacob’s rise over Esau.
Rebekah’s preference for Jacob aligns with God’s plan, which often subverts cultural expectations. By favoring Jacob, Rebekah demonstrated her faith in God’s promise and her desire to see her favored son inherit the blessings God had ordained for him.
Character Traits and Abilities
Jacob’s character and abilities may have influenced Rebekah’s favoritism. Unlike Esau, who is described as a skilled hunter and a man of the field (Genesis 25:27), Jacob is characterized as a quiet man who dwelled in tents.
Rebekah’s connection with Jacob could stem from his gentler demeanor and domestic inclinations, which may have resonated more with her own qualities. Additionally, Jacob’s ability to cook and manage household tasks might have further endeared him to Rebekah, creating a bond based on shared interests and values.
Jacob’s Desire for the Birthright
Jacob’s eagerness to obtain the birthright also plays a role in Rebekah’s favoritism. Genesis 25:29-34 narrates the story of Jacob trading a bowl of stew for Esau’s birthright. Esau, tired and dismissive of his birthright’s significance, sold it without hesitation, while Jacob recognized its immense value.
Rebekah likely saw Jacob’s ambition and desire for spiritual and material blessings as an indication of his potential to fulfill God’s promises. This desire may have reinforced her support for Jacob, as she believed he was worthy of the birthright that was rightfully his according to God’s plan.
The Deception to Secure the Blessing
Rebekah’s favoritism culminated in a pivotal moment where she orchestrated a deception to secure Isaac’s blessing for Jacob.
Genesis 27 recounts how Rebekah overheard Isaac intending to bless Esau. Understanding the importance of the blessing and Jacob’s rightful place in the divine plan, she devised a plan to deceive Isaac. She dressed Jacob in Esau’s clothes and covered his hands and neck with goat skins to mimic Esau’s hairiness.
The successful execution of this deception, while ethically questionable, illustrates Rebekah’s deep commitment to ensuring Jacob received the blessings promised by God. Her actions reflect a belief in the necessity of intervention to align with God’s will, even if it involved manipulation.
The Consequences of Favoritism
Rebekah’s favoritism and the ensuing deception had profound consequences for the family dynamics. Once Jacob received Isaac’s blessing, Esau was enraged and vowed to kill him, prompting Jacob’s flight to Haran.
Rebekah’s decision, while aimed at fulfilling God’s promise, also led to familial strife, separation, and sorrow. This narrative serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of favoritism and deception within families, illustrating how such actions can have far-reaching effects.
The Legacy of Jacob
Despite the complications surrounding Rebekah’s favoritism, Jacob ultimately became a pivotal figure in biblical history. He was renamed Israel and became the father of the twelve tribes of Israel.
Rebekah’s actions and support for Jacob contributed to the fulfillment of God’s plan for His people. Her role in shaping Jacob’s destiny underscores the significance of parental influence in the spiritual and personal development of children.
Conclusion
Rebekah’s favoritism toward Jacob is a complex interplay of prophecy, cultural norms, personal characteristics, and the unfolding of divine purpose. While her actions led to significant consequences for her family, they also played a crucial role in the realization of God’s plan for Israel. This narrative invites readers to reflect on the themes of faith, family dynamics, and the lengths to which individuals may go to fulfill perceived divine intentions. Through Rebekah’s story, we gain insight into the profound ways God orchestrates His will, often using imperfect circumstances and human choices to accomplish His purposes.

That is true. It’s called Agenda 47, laid out in a series of videos on Donald Trump’s website. And the only parts that don’t match up with Project 2025 are even more extreme:
Abolishing birthright citizenship, and withholding passports, Social Security numbers and other government benefits from American children of undocumented immigrants born in the United States. So much for following the Constitution!
Deploying the National Guard against US citizens. Make America Kent State again!
Outlawing gender-affirming care for anyone at any age, passing a bill establishing that the only genders recognized by the US government are male and female, and they are assigned at birth. Your body belongs to the government, and don’t you forget it.
Constructing “Freedom Cities” on federal land. Whatever that’s about. “These Freedom Cities will reopen the frontier, reignite American imagination, and give hundreds of thousands of young people and other people, all hardworking families, a new shot at home ownership and in fact, the American Dream.” How would that work, who’s paying for it, who knows?
Death penalty for drug dealers and human traffickers.
Leaving abortion “to the states,” which is the same as leaving it to SCOTUS, and we all know how their majority feels. Trump’s also previously said that he would sign a national 15-week abortion ban, and that he has no problem letting states monitor women’s pregnancies to make sure they are not terminated, and supports “some form of punishment” for women who have abortions and doctors who provide them. Evangelicals are working really hard to get NO ABORTIONS EVER ANYWHERE SHUT UP FETUSES ARE PEOPLE in the party platform.
Replacing academic freedom with “patriot education.”
Using the Justice Department to go after his enemies. He’s very excited for military tribunals, especially for Liz Cheney.
Deploying “many thousands” of US troops to the southern border to wage “war,” and rounding up immigrants and putting them in camps. And Stephen Miller would allegedly like to bomb migrants with drones.
Flying cars, for some reason. “Dozens of major companies in the U.S. and China are racing to develop vertical-takeoff-and-landing vehicles for families and individuals. Just as the United States led the automotive revolution in the last century, I want to ensure that America, not China, leads this revolution in air mobility.” Isn’t that called a helicopter?
And there’s plenty of agreement between Trump’s agenda and the Heritage Foundation’s plans, too:
Censorship laws that ban teaching “critical race theory,” and reinterpret anti-racism protections to benefit white people, the real victims of racism. Eye roll emoji.
Giving Trump complete control of the FCC, so he can ban any platform on the internet that allows people to be mean to him or won’t publish his lies.
Giving Trump control of all the regulatory agencies, gutting them, and taking away their ability to enforce anything. (SCOTUS already gifted him that one!)
Redesignating as many as 50,000 civil servants as political appointees, and firing any of them that are insufficiently loyal to Trump.
Ending the Affordable Care Act.
Giving corporations our national lands so they can drill and strip the shit out of them. Fuck renewable energy!
Cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and working towards privatizing them. Trump’s been all over the place on this, sometimes claiming he won’t touch them, other times saying stuff like “there’s a lot you can do in terms of entitlements, in terms of cutting” and “at some point [cutting entitlements will be on the plate]. [...] And at the right time, we will take a look at that. You know, that’s actually the easiest of all things.” That sentiment proved VERY UNPOPULAR, and he has since publicly backed away from it.

Navigating the Process: Giving Birth in Canada
As a destination renowned for its quality healthcare system, multicultural environment, and welcoming atmosphere, Canada stands as a beacon for many seeking a new place to call home. For expectant parents considering giving birth in Canada, the prospect can be both exciting and daunting. Understanding the process and requirements is crucial for a smooth and successful experience.
Healthcare System
Canada boasts a publicly funded healthcare system, ensuring that all residents have access to essential medical services. This system extends to maternity care, offering comprehensive support for expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period.
Prenatal care in Canada typically involves regular check-ups with healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, midwives, or family doctors. These appointments monitor the health of both mother and baby, providing essential guidance and support along the way.
Eligibility
One of the most common questions prospective parents have is whether giving birth in Canada grants their child Canadian citizenship. In Canada, birthright citizenship is granted to children born on Canadian soil, regardless of the parents' nationality or immigration status. However, it's essential to distinguish between birthright citizenship and eligibility for healthcare benefits or permanent residency.
Parents who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents may still give birth in Canada, but they should be aware that this act alone does not grant them automatic immigration status. Navigating the immigration process separately is necessary to establish legal status for both parents and the newborn.
Visa and Immigration Considerations
For non-Canadian residents planning to give birth in Canada, understanding visa and immigration requirements is crucial. Temporary resident visas, commonly known as visitor visas, are often required for individuals entering Canada for the purpose of giving birth. Additionally, some provinces may have specific regulations regarding healthcare coverage for non-residents, so it's essential to research and plan accordingly.
For those seeking to stay in Canada permanently, options such as family sponsorship or skilled worker programs may provide pathways to residency. Consulting with immigration experts can help prospective parents explore the best immigration options suited to their individual circumstances.
Hospital and Birth Options
Canada offers a range of birthing options, including hospitals, birthing centers, and home births, allowing expectant parents to choose the setting that best aligns with their preferences and needs. The healthcare system prioritizes patient-centered care, ensuring that expectant mothers receive support and respect for their birthing choices.
Before deciding on a birthing facility, it's essential to research and consider factors such as proximity to medical services, available amenities, and the expertise of healthcare providers. Many hospitals offer tours and prenatal classes to help expectant parents familiarize themselves with the birthing process and facilities.
Conclusion
Giving birth in Canada offers a multitude of benefits, from access to high-quality healthcare services to the opportunity for children to obtain Canadian citizenship. However, navigating the process requires careful planning and consideration of various factors, including immigration status, healthcare coverage, and birthing preferences.
By understanding the healthcare system, eligibility requirements, and immigration procedures, expectant parents can embark on their journey with confidence, knowing that they are well-prepared for the arrival of their newest family member in the welcoming and inclusive environment of Canada.
For personalized guidance and assistance with the immigration process, consulting with Canadian immigration experts can provide invaluable support, ensuring a smooth and successful transition for growing families.

INTRODUCING, CHO YEONGHAN (RIVERS) OF BEONHWA !
the THIRTY year old is said to look a lot like BYUN BAEKHYUN and resides in the HIGHBUSH HOME. they are best known as an ARTIST. look! i think they're headed this way! but make sure to read this CHECKLIST before you go.
a look further into their life . . .
PAST
cho siyang had never wished to be born into the family that pronounced its everliving commitment and devotion to the late monarch. as one of the families known to support the monarch openly and pridefully fulfilling every duty and responsibility as if it were their birthright- it had always been more than shameful to siyang as soon as he had understood the true circumstances. through his life, he was shrouded in a small town outside the capital of those hoping to one day see the return of the monarch’s reign.
the supporters sought each other out and fostered a community of those who still remained loyal to the past monarch. amongst those who endlessly supported and prayed for the return of the monarchy’s blood, siyang found someone who shared the same views as he did - ahn hwaryeong. as if fated, the two found that neither wished to remain bound to those of old and wanted nothing more than to start anew- leaving this life completely behind so that it would be nothing more than a ghost of the past.
young as they were though, there wasn’t much either of them could do so they found solace with each other, hoping, planning and seeking for a way out one day. in a community where eyes watched for any sign of betrayal, it grew difficult to continue pretending to be okay with living in an environment as such.
as the years passed, siyang and hwaryeong promised their commitment to each other and celebrated their marriage within the town. however, once hwaryeong was found to be with child things began changing drastically. the stress of raising their child amongst the influence and foundation of the supporters made hwaryeong’s pregnancy a hard one to maintain. the desperation to leave became imminent to those around them until it was clear that siyang and hwaryeong were no better than traitors living in their midst. and so an ultimatum was given to them- to die as traitors where they stood or to sacrifice their child in trade for their freedom.
with the world against them for something they had no control over, siyang and hwaryeong made the unspeakable decision of leaving their child with the supporters to spare all their lives, heartbroken for their tainted freedom, their escaped deaths, and the abandonment of their first child.
the child left behind was seen as nothing more than a stain- a mark of betrayal for the cho and ahn families. they begrudgingly bestowed the name ‘yeong’ before finding one of the town elders willing to raise him. knowing that the name given was one meant to curse the newborn, the elder who took him in called him ‘yeonghan’ so that he might have a name that he would one day be proud of.
as he grew, the truth behind yeonghan’s past was made clear to him fron the very day he could understand. he had been unwanted and his parents had been dirty traitors. they had given yeonghan up for their freedom. no one wanted him and with his freedom taken when he was nothing but a mere baby- he was tethered to the town to do their dirty work.
it wasn’t long before yeonghan began being addressed by the name ‘rivers’ after a conversation between him and his carer that was eavesdropped on by one of the town residents. ‘to take the path of least resistance’ was the analogy she had given him, much like a river. the townspeople saw this as yet another thing to use and shame yeonghan with quoting that he like a river would forever have to bend to their wills.
however, yeonghan had never taken the name in shame because no one had seemed to understand the true meaning behind the analogy the elder had offered him. take the path of least resistance, and he will always find a way. and find a way he did.
after years and years of living as the town’s mark of shame, yeonghan took his silent leave only after the death and burial of the elder who nurtured him into the man he was.
PRESENT
after taking his departure from the hidden town of supporters of the late monarch, yeonghan adopted the name ‘rivers’ - originally meant to be used as a curse towards him - for his new start in beonhwa. in a place that no one would know him, yeonghan was shedding his shameful past, inevitably following the same footsteps of his birth parents.
from a young age, painting had always been a talent of rivers and something he had developed quietly and secretly amongst the small town of supporters he lived in. anything personal about him was always kept hidden considering he had no control over his own life in that town. it was also the means he used to earn money on the side with any travelling visitors or merchants passing through- selling artwork for anything he could. this was money he used to be able to find a new start in beonhwa four years ago.
in his arrival to beonhwa, rivers used this skill to continue selling art for his main income. however, in times where he ran short or needed more, rivers didn’t bat an eye at turning to his past and completing any quiet or dirty work for those who needed it in secrecy (never truly shedding his connections to the past).
during the four years that he’s lived in beonhwa, rivers has struggled to find true peace and meaning to life. there’s a lot of anger, hatred, disdain, and frustration that still boils in him (things he’s never had the chance to truly process). but it’s more than he can ask for compared to the life he used to live. he doesn’t necessarily love or hate any one part of beonhwa- but considering that he isn’t tethered and has his own freedom, it’s still better than his old hometown.
FUTURE
the dark details aren’t explained explicitly but there’s been a lot of dirty work rivers has had to do and stains on his hand! living under surveillance and control of others for a majority of his life definitely has taken its toll on him and shaped him into the hateful person he is today. so, i’m definitely looking for connections that rivers can find himself learning how to process and let go of things from the past!
additionally, rivers is kind of just existing in all this pool of hatred and negative emotions. he doesn’t really have a “reason” for living perse so i’m really hoping that he’s able to find that too through his interactions! whether it’s another person, a passion, or he just like, sees the light and finds a reason to not always be as pessimistic as he is about everything.
because of his canon! i’m thinking maybe things were made known to public after something happened? like someone from his hometown called him out in public before proclaiming their undying loyalty to the previous monarch (which would make it obvious where they stand in the society of beonhwa). or maybe it was revealed through the daily buzz at some point following rivers arrival and his true origin was discovered. either way, some people who think rivers is as dirty as the people he comes from! or maybe someone who thinks rivers deserves a second chance and shouldn’t be condemned for something he can’t control! maybe someone who can’t decide and is hot and cold with rivers because it might not be his fault but that doesn’t excuse the things he’s done!

Who do you think runs the machines? And did you know that mothers taking care of their infant children do almost exactly the same thing they did while their children were in the womb? Infants are just as dependent of their mothers after birth as they were before. They can't take care of themselves at all. They need someone else to. So, if both groups of people (infants and preborn humans) need almost exactly the same kind of help, why does bodily autonomy make any difference? In what ways do just out of the womb infants have autonomy that preborn human beings don't?
