Wish Sola balls lasted a bit longer for your birds? Try this!

Granted that they don't drop them in a pile of slop, scoop up those Sola shreds and stuff them into cheap paper finger traps. Bind them together, string them up with other toy parts, or leave them single as foot toys (I've bound them with an empty vet wrap cardboard tube.) Extended shreddable Sola fun!

⭐ Works extra well if they're the curious type and you construct it in front of them.

Hey birblr friends! I am hoping to build a custom jungle gym for the birdies and I’m buying supplies. I want to get some screw eyes, like these: 

But I’m really nervous about accidentally buying something that’s not safe for the birds that they might nibble, especially something coated with zinc. Does anyone know where is a reliable place to buy something like this from where I can be sure it’s safe? I think stainless steel is safe, but I’m worried about buying something that SAYS stainless steel but could have a coating if it’s from a shady seller... Does anyone have experience with something like this that could give me advice, or link me to a reputable place to buy these? THANKS

Home sweet home! Just missing the ramp which is patiently waiting for hinges, but otherwise it is done!! Can't wait to fill it with bedding, put their food and waterer in there, and give them a proper home 😍 The previous owners used this as a chicken coop and later a ferret cage, although it was made terribly as to why we scrapped the entire top. So thankful for my partner who built it, and painted well into the night so make sure the coming rain wouldn't ruin it.
