Harpy AU: Preening

Alu by himself wouldn't bother to preen his feathers. The least he'll do is fluff up and shake up what ever dirt or things that may have gotten caught up in his feathers or mane xD this tends to lead to matted feathers and his hair being a literal bird's nest. He doesn't see the point of doing so if his plumage is going to get dirty and scruffed up again, so it has to be done for him. Now Lil preens him up and brushed his hair and he finally looks kept up and smooth tho unfortunately the hair is a bigger hassle to deal with with the amount of knots there and more than half have to be cut out xD nonetheless, he won't preen himself unless it he really has to and in those occasions he does, his plumage ends up looking gorgeous and shiny ✨✨ but yeah, he's lazy when it comes to preening 😆
