It's Bipoc Vampire day y'all. Say Hi to Khalid my vampire OC.
Lets raise funds and serve looks.
Khalid's name was given to them once turned by their maker hundreds of years ago. Translated to mean eternal, everlasting, immortal. Extremely tempermental and vindictive, Khalid has no shortage of enemies or burned bridges. The only problem is that people can't decide if they want Khalid dead, in their bed, or to receive the gift of eternal life from this reckless immortal. Khalid uses their shapeshifting powers to escape most people who would like to put a stake through their heart both human or supernatural, being alike. When low on energy, Khalid is unable to change their golden eyes when they shapeshift. While it is rare that Khalid finds someone who is worthy of loyalty, once secured, it's almost a dangerously unbreakable bond.
Self portraits by me!!!

I completely missed that they were doing another magazine so my art is not in this year's BIPOC Vampire zine, but please support this charity!
(I bought a lil raffle ticket and I'll buy the book when they open pre-orders!)

Yeeeaahhhhh, after seeing certain snippets of “Interview with the Vampire” the series and seeing and reading different analyses between here and TT, I can’t bring myself to watch it!!!! I’m all for my Black supernaturals’ rights and wrongs, but Claudia gets done dirty by everyone around her from the time she was a living child to the time of her death as a vampire. She deserved to become so much more and between being physically stuck in a young teen body, being forcefully tethered to her fathers, and going through all of this as a Black girl then woman with time, place, and history already not being kind to her, she was screwed from the beginning. I don’t wanna watch her suffer and then eventually be tortured to death. Like, sis was literally used, abused, and killed because she wanted her lick back for being used and abused! Like?! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!!!😭😭😭

Hello!! Its so cool to finally be able to participate in the @bipocvampires event!
This is my oc Marcela Macabra! She's a luchadora who can't seem to ever win, but despite that she never gives up and always keeps trying!
And how fitting that TODAY is also the national lucha libre day!

I'm proud to be a part of this year's BIPoC Vamp Zine, a project to rethink vampires outside of the white and colonial frame and from a racialized and migrant perspective.
Preorders are now open. More details here.

Let's begin!
We've decided to add Tumblr as one of our social media spots given it's so handy for sharing and cataloging vampire inspiration as well as spreading the word and connecting with fellow BIPOC vampire fans.
As we get closer to our annual September event expect to see interactive things like polls, moodboards, video, interviews and more!
And we'll be sharing a LOT of BIPOC vampire projects (cosplay, original art, fan art, movie/TV content, TTRPG, podcasts and more) year round to keep the hype going. Plus we always need more BIPOC vampires in the world.
Hope you'll join us!

WAIT, STOP THE PRESS! Boyfriend dropped some heat! His “Castlevania: Nocturne” theory: Sekhmet is as much strategist as she is warrior. She is neither weak nor stupid. So, what if she’s using Erzsebet and not the other way around in order to carry out her revenge against Ra?! If that’s the case, THAT’S FREAKING GENIUS!!!!👅😎😈 This also explains Drolta’s unyielding devotion!
