Vampires of Color: Crimson Pride features the work of 20 creators, including full color illustrations, a mini comic, short stories and novel excerpts, and even a TTRPG game! All works are centered around BIPOC vampires and zine profits will be donated to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America (a disease which greatly impacts the BIPOC community).

It's Bipoc Vampire day y'all. Say Hi to Khalid my vampire OC.

Lets raise funds and serve looks.

Khalid's name was given to them once turned by their maker hundreds of years ago. Translated to mean eternal, everlasting, immortal. Extremely tempermental and vindictive, Khalid has no shortage of enemies or burned bridges. The only problem is that people can't decide if they want Khalid dead, in their bed, or to receive the gift of eternal life from this reckless immortal. Khalid uses their shapeshifting powers to escape most people who would like to put a stake through their heart both human or supernatural, being alike. When low on energy, Khalid is unable to change their golden eyes when they shapeshift. While it is rare that Khalid finds someone who is worthy of loyalty, once secured, it's almost a dangerously unbreakable bond.

The way my brain is clinging to every positive thing this week so I can get through it - BIPOC vampires are my life line right now - be it my own vampire OCs, the comic, IWTV on AMC, BIPOC Vamp Day, and any other shred of dopamine.

Sorry if this feels like a IWTV stan account but this show is giving us a BEVY of BIPOC vampires in an amazingly written show so of course we're going to share every morsel here - it's what we're all about!!

We've decided to add Tumblr as one of our social media spots given it's so handy for sharing and cataloging vampire inspiration as well as spreading the word and connecting with fellow BIPOC vampire fans.

As we get closer to our annual September event expect to see interactive things like polls, moodboards, video, interviews and more!

And we'll be sharing a LOT of BIPOC vampire projects (cosplay, original art, fan art, movie/TV content, TTRPG, podcasts and more) year round to keep the hype going. Plus we always need more BIPOC vampires in the world.
