I noticed subban was I think #4 on your list, what do you like about him?
everything????!!!! like look at this man and tell me he isn’t handsome, I dare you!!
his smile is the cutest to me, I also love how his ears are kinda smaller and the shape of his face *chef kiss* perfect, I also love his nose cuz I love big noses, he’s just it for me <3Â
I don’t really talk a lot about him because he is (was?) married, so idk I do talk about him every once in a while, but you can bet I’m head over heels for him
and the plus: he looks great in yellow (which is one of my fav colors)
(black ppl in general just looks great w yellow -and any other color if I must say, give me a red dress and you’ll see!!!!!-)
aaaand idk I feel like I only talked about it on my tags, but although I simp for whities here, my type of man is black man, ya girl loves the idea of black love, etc (also black men are fucking perfect, change my mind!)Â
#thats it thanks for coming to my ted talk#ksksjsjs#sorry about the rant#pk subban#aka 4th hottest nhler according to me and my scientific researches#mel answers#anon#bipoc nhlers#< im gonna start tagging this just because 🤎

Academy anon here 🥸 the Brett hull thing Nolan liked was following the l*eipsic situation where Brett hull said: “We did the same things, we said the same things, but there was no way to get caught. We can go out after games, we can go to strip clubs, we can go to bars, we could do whatever we wanted, and it would all be hearsay. The fun is gone. The game is not fun anymore”, basically indicating the leaked dm’s and abhorrent misogyny etc was part of the fun of being an nhler. Nolan liked an Instagram post with this quote which drew a lot of criticism for about two days until everyone forgot about it. I think that was super problematic tho bc it really just validates what all female fans are worried of: that the nhl enables a culture that preys on the treatment of women, poc, etc as objects of fun.
There was also mention of “patty” in the dm’s noting that he “smashed” one of the girls being ridiculed. Obviously, it’s not confirmed if this is nolpats or not. I think it’s hard to judge Nolan is this situation bc he’s super private and we don’t know much about him, but if was def enough to leave me weary.
Vince, I believe, has certainly displayed more actively questioned things- mainly on his twitch stream. I really stopped vouching for him after he basically victimized himself for not speaking on BLM before some last ditch performative activism at a protest. The thing really concerning about him is the lengths he will go to seem woke or something. Like with him denying he said the n word even tho it was literally on camera, pulling a pity party on himself for not speaking about BLM, etc. also, the people he seems to engage with on twitch seem problematic asf.
I’m so sorry I came off so aggressive in my first anon, I was hangry ⚰️
yikes, it was a picture with a caption addressing the issue or one of those “agreement” quotes??Â
yeah, I def see where your point is coming from.Â
yeah I’m currently reading a book on the subject (white fragility) and this is exactly what the author talks about, how white progressives are causing damage on bipoc every day by believing they’re already “woke” enough, that they’re “less racist” or “anti-racist”, that they “already get it” while not listening to what we are saying.Â
s fine lol Idk if my answer sounded aggressive too but I’m so done, I keep answering the same thing in different ways so everyone can understand but people keep sending me shit, and rn I have 131 asks and I’m about to delete half because I’m done trying to explain to people who choose not to understand. It’s ok tho, you had no idea I didn't know about the whole situation.Â
Also, feel free to come to my PM’s so we can expand this talk if you want to <3 I would really like to hear more about stuff I didn’t catch up on yet.Â
#also i loved the 🥸 jajajajaaj#please feel free to slide into my dms so we can talk more about it <3#nolan patrick#hockey culture#academy anon#mel answers
