hey thanks for checking out my blog! mainly oc/canon shenanigans around these parts, largely centered on my yuu (gia yugo)— however i have other characters when i’m bothered to remember them. feel welcome to send me asks or dms, but please be patient with me as i have both the memory of a walnut and i struggle with consistent energy levels. Lackadaisy oc bio card tutorial and recources

This is probably going to be very short and sweet but i struggled putting together my oc bio thing and i noticed other people doing so as well, so i figured putting together a quick tutorial would be helpful to some.

You're also welcome to stray from any of these pointers and make your bio card your own unique thing. I’m sure as hell not gonna stop you.

there is also a layered psd version with all the individual paper peices

The font used for the name is binner and the font used for the description itself is sequel sans I believe.

Finished card vs sketch

To go with the comic I'm making (which you can follow my Tumblr and Instagram to read) I'm also drawing little bio cards of all the OCs that are going to appear

I'm doing my best to make sure the card will be uploaded near their debut to help give context or at least be colorful since the comic is in black/white, but as I am only one man I think I'll have to take it easy lol

I also think I'll need to make additional cards whenever a character has a drastic design change or there's extra trivia or context that doesn't fit into the actual comic

I’m also not 100% sure how Goob turned, again, he also seems to be a happy guy that doesn’t get upset easily, but the best I could come up with is that he accidentally hugged someone a little too tight and hurt them (dw this isn’t a Looey situation or anything lol I didn’t want it to be that dark- so he just gave someone a good ol’ scratch. Who?? Haven’t decided exactly, but maybe it’ll be Scraps since Goob loves his sis a lot and I feel like that would maybe upset him more)

Healer loves stickers and will patch up his patient with a lot of them after he “healed” them

Healer, after he finds a victim, tries to find at least something wrong with them and tries to fix it at best as he can

He has good intentions, but he usually poorly executes his check-ups, to which Healer is extremely apologetic

Healer’s medkit has all that he needs in it, bandaids, tissues, other equipment, and of course, more stickers

I like to think his covered eye is still a button

Healer can get aggressive if someone tries to stop him from healing and protecting his friends

lol Healer has a catchphrase- “Help is on the way!!!!!!!”
