Listeners who are looking for a more critical and intersectional analysis of the themes and characters in the Harry Potter series will not find that here. However, the reverence Mallory and Jason have for the series makes this a welcome addition to the many Harry Potter podcasts available online.

when nadja makes her fleeting goodbye to nandor, and guillermo is asking them to hurry up offscreen, nadja pops into nandor's room to say "bye forever nandor", nandor had this little bit, a written letter in hand, some words he wanted to say to nadja, his co-vampiric council leader, his long time housemate, his friend that he didnt get to say in all this hurry, a moment that got swept from under him as he didnt get a word in edgewise in that goodbye to nadja, which for all he knew, was going to be the last time ever he was going to be seeing her in forever. he had prepared a little speech and he didnt get to say a word of it.

also i am in a dire need of community and friendship and the feeling of belonging because uh everything said above, but i can't seem to realize that so i just keep looking for sex and power and not telling my friends how i really feel about them."
