bill survivalist this bill survivalist that. he is not just that. he knows how to live. he tinkers all the time. he clearly knows his drinks and appreciates them a whole lot. have you seen this man cooking? cuz damn he does it like fine art. the attention to little things he gives just for the sake of his own pleasure. his little singing, the piano in the living room. its all subtle, on the inside, just like how bill is. its all full of love in little places.

and i think frank comes and makes a way for bill to put it all 'outwards' and its soft and so fucking adorable and makes me insane. they both know how to live in their little ways and together they are just the most beautiful humans.

Hey all, are we gonna talk about how they rewrote Henry's story to end up foreshadowing Joel's decision with Ellie.

It became real to me when Kathleen was literally saying "Children die all the time." And then they chose to let a shot linger on Joel when she said "Is he really worth everything?"

They are going to ruin us yall. Everything is going to tie into the ending. Non-game players don't realize it but Bill's choice to not be alone and go with the person he loved, Henry choosing Sam over an entire movement- over a literal REVOLUTION.

It shows us that it's not black and white, cut and dry survival. Its people who are tied to one another that have make choices and choose the people they love over succumbing to the emotionless, apathetic survival tactics that truly would keep them alive, but for what?

Now Joel is gonna have to choose, love or ensured survival for not just him, for all.

I love that they are showing how nuanced it all is when the people you love and care about most are at risk or killed.

Even Kathleen fell prey to it.
