I love the parallel work in this season of TLOVM. Vex not paying attention, tripping the trap that inadvertently results in Percy’s death (in a perfect reversal of the Tomb). Keyleth reaching out to the enemy in a moment of compassion, just as Percy did with Ripley, which would have resulted in her death—except she happened to have her friends at her back. The twins coping with their abandonment issues in very similar ways, learning from one another’s trauma. Pike as foil to Xerxes with the belief in the gods vs belief in the self. It’s all very narratively satisfying.
