(In MK1, they finally incorporated the mother and father BUT left the sister out. WHY?)

Sektor and Bi-Han's relationship in MK1

I want to see some analysis and more about them, but I'm assuming that Sektor's dedication to Bi-Han comes from the time Bi-Han lost his mother (everything indicates that she died longer ago than his father), and since Bi-Han was really close to his mother… Sektor, being a little bit older and more mature, ended up becoming some kind of maternal figure in his life. His respect for her and her advice must come from that. And her absolute loyalty to him may come from how he treats her and how relevant he is to the clan. Her concern for Bi-Han is completely understandable even if there are no other interests.

At least that's what I see, for now.

i really adore how the fandom agrees bi-han would be a good father. he'd still be a dick, make mistakes, is a little too harsh with his children, but he doesn't want to put his kids what he went through as a child at the hands of bis father. Idk, i just really love that. it would be so easy to write him as a horrible father who doesn't care for his children, but this man would die and murder and kill and smile for his children in a heartbeat. they'll be great martial artists, trained from birth to break anyone's hip flexor, but they will also have a father who loves and cares for them.

it definitely doesn't come naturally to him tho. he wants to do this but it's kinda a whole new way of thinking for the man. bi-han isn't exactly one to open up or show any other feelings other than anger and mild annoyance- but eventually, with his never ending want to not be his father, and with the help of his partner, it's easier for him to really be the father he wants to be.

to hug his children, read them bed time stories, praise them when they've done well, praise them when they haven't done so well. not view his childrens' s emotions as weak. it's a huge mental adjustment for the cryomancer, but he does it.

also, I don't think he'd be set on "only having a son to pass on his legacy" idk, call me a woke liberal feminist (or a partner who'd beat his ass) but I don't think he particularly cares, he just wants a child or children who can eventually be the next grandmaster and uphold lin kuei principles.

catch this bitch having five daughters and obliterating the very being of a lin kuei lackey who he overheard talking negatively about his daughters. they will all be killing machines who love tea parties and watching my little pony, and he'll be right there with them (he knows the theme song by heart)

bi-han is a girl dad through and through and you cannot convince me otherwise.

it’s the fact that in the original timeline bi-han knew his mother longer than kuai liang and can probably still remember the way her food tasted and the way she instructed him to hold his young brother and sister in his arms without hurting them and just for a few short years he had a normal childhood before he was snatched away by his father

Happy Mother’s Day to my fellow self shippers and OC shippers! Bi-Han and Syzoth have spent the day doting on Sareena and I all day, it’s been very sweet. The kids made me a bouquet of ice flowers 🥰 they’ve also been taking care of all the daily chores so my adorable demon girlfriend and I have been relaxing in the lovely Spring weather. Syzoth is extra doting because he’s so nervous about my pregnancy, he’s so worried but excited about being a father again but I can tell he’s scared something will go wrong. I have had a miscarriage in the past so I can understand his fears but so far the pregnancy is very healthy and uneventful. So yeah everything is going super well and the kids are being wonderful as usual, I’m very lucky I have such wonderful kids and partners. So, once again Happy Mother’s Day my lovelies l hope you’re all spoiled rotten by you F/Os 🩷 Also a very happy Mother’s Day to all the fur mom’s and traditional and untraditional moms out there! Because I'm not gonna die of curiosity, I'm writing my headcanons mixed up with canons from this new era to get an idea of what kinda relationship they had/have in the Lin Kuei. And Bi-Han's mother was undoubtedly gorgeous and powerful! I just know it.

Summary:

Somewhere in the northernmost part of Asia, there is a gateway to a secret clan of warriors known as the Lin Kuei. Centuries old, its warriors are raised apart from the workings of day to day civilization and trained from childhood to one day defend the earthrealm from external threats. Each of them has certain skills and abilities that set them apart from normal people. These abilities are passed on from generation to generation and honed throughout the experiences of life. Each Lin Kuei warrior has their family name engraved on their backs with the past of their ancestors and the predetermined path to follow, or so it was, until one of them challenged this common knowledge within the clan.
