I love Gray, Lucy and Loke (also Cana, she’s here in spirit). The imagery and energy that they all share together makes me so happy. They’re all in-love and that alternates between romantic and platonic depending on the mood.

Romeo's last name is actually Rose. His Dad and His Mom divorced, and he chose to have his Mom's last name since she raised him better anyways. So, his full name's Romeo Rose. Wendy told him his name was pretty. He blushed with pink fire coming out of his nose

Speaking of Romeo and Wendy, they're besties. They be gossiping about guild drama behind all they backs. Wendy knows about shit she shouldn't because Romeo was both literally and figuratively born in the guild

When the Barbie Movie came out, The kids who grew up in Fairy Tail dressed up in extravagant pink. Gajeel, Lucy, and Juvia went to go see Oppenheimer.

Romeo, Wendy, and Sherria are the friends you wouldnt expect to be friends

During when the gang was gone for seven years, Romeo got all of their clothes from when they were kids. He keeps them in his room. The gang knows, but doesn't comment on it seeing as they practically raised the kid.

Romeo's mom is a member of Quatro Cerberus. She was banished from Magnolia on something she didn't commit. After The GMG, she was allowed back. The Fairy Kid gang calls her "Auntie Enno"

Levy is the most "like that" out of the Fairy Kids. She has a glock and everything. When she was younger she always wanted the smoke.

Freed is the most "like that" out of the Thunder Legion. The Wizard Saints fear him. The Council fears him. Laxus loves him.

Bickslow's babies have deemed Lisanna as they mama. Bickslow doesn't mind.

Lisanna came back to the guild and immediately turned bi. Too many hot ladies and pretty men.

Yukino's first kiss was Minerva when they were like 12. Yukino didn't know it was Minerva until she met her in Sabertooth.

Minerva, Sting, Rogue, Orga, Rufus, and Yukino all had a plan to try and off Jiemma. Sting just snapped enough to get him early.

Yukino actually constantly compares herself to Lucy a lot. Yukino's dream was to get all 13 zodiac keys, but Lucy has them, so she backed off. She came very close to breaking all her contracts even after when she had her convo with Lucy. Her and Ophiuchus had a very heartfelt convo afterwards.

All dragons have a "dragon thing." Wendy can stop storms in their tracks several countries away. Gajeel's a human metal detector and magnet. Sting's a human glowstick. Rogue can bend rooms to his will if they're pitch black. Natsu has the highest spice tolerance in all of Earthland, AND he sheds scales regularly that can be mini-bombs if used correctly.

All dragon slayers (THAT HAD DRAGON PARENTS) are 85% dragon and 15% human. I didn't make the rules. They all have tails and horns and visible scales.

Dragon Slayers have a hoard network where they share treasures (i'll elaborate on this later)

One thing I want to do is rewrite fairy tail because some of these characters are done dirty by Mashima or life in general.

Ideas include:

- Juvia gets more character development outside of her relationship to Gray. Yes, her relationship to Gray is so important, but I want the energy from the battle of fairy tail arc where she sacrificed herself for Cana and acted like a normal human being with Gray, while still showcasing her crush.

- Freed development! He was such an interesting character when he was introduced! He even shaved his hair after the battle to show his remorse! He was flirting with Mira! Then he turns into a Laxus fanboy?? On the same level as Juvia. Actually he doesn't have a steady character, it's like Mashima spins a wheel to decide how he's portrayed.

- Break Jellal out of the possession early! This is just because I love him and don't want him to suffer, but the implications of this are awesome. You have Ultear who lost her pawn, so now she has to decide whether to reveal herself or keep acting like a manipulated patsy. This could end up with Jellal chasing this woman to the ends of the earth and declaring war on Grimore Heart. Simon also lives! And discovers his identity as a bi man torn between Jellal and Erza. They end up as a codependent group and no one can tell whose romantically involved. (Is it Simom and Erza, Erza and Jellal, Jellal and Simon?? Who knows?)

- NaLu will they won't they relationship, but from the guilds point of view. Are they dating? Natsu just broke into her house and cuddled with her, and Lucy just dragged Natsu to a restaurant and went on a walk after where they were holding hands the entire way! Meanwhile, Lucy goes around moaning about hows she's single forever, while Natsu goes around telling people he has a girlfriend. Everyone is confused because they didn't think Natsu knew what dating was. (This one is basically canon already).

So I've been seeing a lot of pride stuff coming across my dash and thought I'd share my own headcanons for some Fairytail characters.

Now with a second part

Natsu

I've always felt that Natsu sits somewhere on the Ace spectrum, he's never shown interest in sex nor does he care for it when anyone mentions it. He is however, panromantic, he cares very little about how a person identifies but if he wants to pursue any sort of relationship then he'll go out of his way to make romantic (at least he thinks it is) gestures towards that special someone. Natsu doesn't actively think about his gender, he genuinely doesn't get the concept, he just dresses and acts how he wants to without putting too much thought into it

Gray

Gray if asked would probably say he's bi, much to Juvia's horror as she now has twice as many love rivals. He'd casually admit to having liked various guys and will weigh in his opinion on checking out the models (male and female) in the latest sorcerer weekly. While Gray would identify as a man he's fairly comfortable in his masculinity and wouldn't mind having his nails painted but would draw the line at wearing women's clothing unless absolutely necessary.

Erza

Demi-ace queen and she knows it. Despite having very little physical interest in people Erza still shows her affection towards her friends by, rather aggressively, showering them with praise and compliments. Erza cares very little about peoples perception of herself and dresses and presents however she pleases. She'll find any reason to dress up.

Cana

Asexual, panromantic. Most people don't realise that Cana doesn't care about sex considering how many dates she goes on and how often she complains about not having a date. In truth as much as Cana can talk dirty and openly flirts with anything that breaths, she really just enjoys someone taking a genuine interest in her and being romantic (not that she'd admit it).

I do have more but this was already getting long, so if there's anyone in particular you want to know my thoughts on send me an ask. I may do a part two at a later date if people want.

Dark and Shallow Lies by Ginny Myers Sain

Now, this is YA. We follow 17 year old Grey as she returns back to her tiny hometown in the Louisiana Bayou for the summer 6 months after her best friends mysterious disappearance. In a town that claims to be the 'psychic capitol of the world', someone must know something, right? Full of secrets, lies, and a boy who steps out of the forest with storm-bright eyes, this was a quick and twisty atmospheric read.

The Hacienda by Isabel Canas

When political upheaval gets her father executed and his family is left in shame and destitution, Beatriz decides she'll do whatever it takes to find security in her life again. When a handsome Don proposes, Beatriz jumps at the chance to accept and move out to his countryside estate with big plans for the future, but it doesn't take long before she's spending her nights terrorised by a mysterious entity inside her new home, forcing her to seek help from the strangest of places. The imagery is creepy, the tone is tense, there's a hot priest, what more do you want?

Cold Moon Over Babylon by Michael McDowell

Probably the darkest book on this list, and definitely the oldest. When a young girl is brutally murdered within sight of her home, it starts a chain of events that will see a family destroyed, secrets and lies exposed, and a vengeful creature that looks almost human to rise from the river as the town that surrounds it starts to crumble. The people are unlikeable, the book is old, the content is Dark - you've been warned.

Ghost Wood Song by Erica Waters

Also YA but this time for the bisexuals. Shady Grove can call ghosts from the grave with her music, just like her daddy could, but everyone knows that only trouble comes from playing for the dead. When her brother is accused of murder, Shady decides to embrace her birthright and use any power she can to clear his name. It's sweet, it's sad, it's lyrical, and there's a little bi love triangle sprinkled in to sweeten the sorrows. It's also a debut!

Gruvia Week 2024

Day 6: Apathy.

type: Hurt/comfort, soft, happy ending.

characters: Gray Fullbuster/Juvia Lockser, Cana Alberona.

The Guild’s entrance doors were open with so much force that it almost came off from it’s hinges, the rowdy ambience was quiet down immediately once they saw the ice mage’s scowly face, not that he wasn’t grumpy all the time but he looked furious.

He looked at Cana who was drinking from her big barrel of wine, but stopped once she took the appearance of Gray who was marching to her.

“Hey, Gray” she said wearily, Cana never gets on Gray’s bad side but once she does, she prefers to avoid him as much as possible because he can be a bit hot headed.

“Is something wrong?” 

“What did you and Juvia drink in your mission?” he said sharply, crossing his arms as he looked down at her.

“Um..” she began to think and tried to connect the events of their journey yestereday.

Cana dragged her blue haired friend on a mission to find a burglar in a village, they accomplished it with no sweat and the villagers were more than happy to offer them a meal and some wine which Cana really had her fill.

 There was also a village woman who lived alone and offered to stay in her inn since no one really goes by their village, her hospitality was kind.

“I think wine?” she said hesitantly, her mind grew black after enjoying her party with the villagers.

“Be sure Cana! What did they give you in that village?!” Gray snapped, his tone was harsh and probably scared.

“I don’t remember! What’s wrong with you?” she replied, bothered by his sudden outburst; he breathed in, and pulled his black hair up with his hand.

“Gray, why don’t you tell us what’s happening first? Then we could try and solve the problem” Mirajane suggested gently, Cana nodded next to her, Gray can’t blame her for something she doesn’t know or wasn’t aware of.

Gray breathed in, and took a moment to answer.

“Juvia is not herself today” Cana’s heart dropped, did she miss something yesterday? But she was completely fine, they were talking and laughing with each other on their way to Magnolia.

“She seems emotionless, like nothing is making her happy or sad or mad” Gray continued as he sat down in the stool next to Cana, his fist tighten and his shoulders were tense.

“She doesn’t smile at all, it’s like when she was in Phantom Lord but worse” 

The guildmates were circling him now, Gajeel was frowning with concern, his arms crossed.

“There must be something she drank Cana, you have to remember.. Please” Gray pleaded, his eyes were frightened, of course he will be, Juvia is very dear to him and to see her emotionless suddenly will make him panic.

In fact, she currently feels scared for her friend’s wellbeing. So she sat straighter, her mind was still woozy with her endless drinking but she is confident she can track the events of their previous encounter.

“Okay i do remember a woman who owned an inn, she didn’t look suspicious or anything but her place was empty, we thought maybe because the village didn’t have travellers to walk by, it was very windy and we didn’t want to face a storm in our way so we got in” she explained.

Everyone was murmuring amongst themselves, it is very clear that the village woman had  something to do with it.

“Did she offer you something?” Lucy asked.

“Yeah, like two bowls of potato soup and wine, she gave me two of those big barrels but Juvia didn’t want to overdrink herself so she just gave her tea” Cana suddenly gasped, it finally made sense, the tea was the cause for her friend’s issue.

“ That bi-” 

“Let me go find something about this tea, she could have fused it with something” Levy suggested while she went rushing to the library.

“I’m coming too” Lucy added, she squeezed Gray’s shoulder as a reassurance before she left.

“ and we will find this witch and break her spine” Gajeel said, cracking his knuckles, Lily already on top of his shoulder ready to fight.

Noticing his friend’s silence, Cana put her hand on his shoulder.

“Hey, are you okay?” she asked. Gray sighed and closed his eyes and shook his head. 

“I can’t go with Gajeel, i have to stay with Juvia” 

“I wasn’t even asking you” Gajeel opposed him with his usual gruffness, and left without a word.

Cana rolled her eyes at his attitude.

“I have to go back home” Gray said, getting up from his seat as he sighed, he was stressed, Cana can see it in his frown, he is stressed and worried about her.

“I am coming with you” she added, abandoning her sweet alluring drink aside, which Mira’s eyes widened with surprise.

“You don’t have to” replied her friend, his gaze was understanding and tired as he looked at her. It twisted Cana’s heart, she hates seeing Gray like that, it made her guilt eat her up.

She should have known better, an old woman in an abandoned inn, what worse could happen? 

“ no i want to, it is kind of my fault anyways” she hooked her arm with his and dragged him to the doors, she didn’t want to waste her time arguing while Juvia is alone at home.

Gray smiled lightly, she can tell that he was grateful for her company, on their way out he received a couple of back pats and support, they know that Juvia will come back the way she was again.

“I’ll send you a message to your Lacirama once Levy and Lucy find something” Mira called out, and they waved back in response.

Once Cana stepped foot into their house, she felt a sense of coldness, it was an unusual feeling, Juvia and Gray’s house always had warmth even if it’s residence was an ice mage. It was unsettling.

“Juvia, I am home” Gray said their usual greetings, but it was met with silence. All Gray could do was sigh.

Once Cana was led to their living room she was shocked at the state of her friend, Juvia looked so broken, her face was blank, her mouth was hanging open slightly, and was her face paler than usual?

“ Is it just me or does her face look blue?” she asked, her eyes still locked on Juvia’s frozen posture on the coach.

“No, she does look more blue” Gray replied, her worry grew worse.

“Hey Juvia, do you remember Cana?” Gray approached her, and gently gripped her shoulder.

“She doesn’t remember us?!” she asked, and he nodded sadly, Cana was bewildered, how come a single witch affect her friend’s memory like that? 

Juvia didn’t answer.

She slowly walked over to her and bent down to her knees, she rubbed them gently, and all Juvia could do was just glance at her, emotions were long gone from her blue eyes, now she looked soulless.

Cana felt disheartened, no wonder why Gray was desperate, she felt disgusted that her friend was deprived of her own emotions..

“Don’t worry Juv, you will be alright” Cana assured, giving her a smile. There is hope for her friend, she will come back and act like she used to. 

She hopes so.

Gray wrapped his arms around her from behind the couch and put his head on top of her, caressing her arms. He didn’t care that Cana was there, nothing mattered to him anymore except for Juvia.

This all feels surreal to him, once he realised that she wasn’t moving this morning he began to panic, he thought some kind of bug crept into her head and messed with her system, she couldn’t even get up without him leading her.

Stripped from her own emotions, not even sorrow was visible in her eyes yet all Gray saw was grief.

Juvia was trapped inside a spell, and all Gray could do was wait, and he hated that he couldn’t do anything to bring his Juvia back, her enthusiasm, her smile, her love, her dramatic expressions.

It’s not fair, she worked so hard to get to where she is now, and they took that from her, they took it.

They took it.

Gray had to calm down, he could feel his anger creeping inside of him like hot boiled water, he wanted to break something, he wanted to hurt something, he wanted to kill.

Kill that witch.

But Juvia needs him the most, everything will be dealt with later, he swallowed down his feelings and breathed in the air to calm his nerves.

It took 3 hours for Lucy and Levy to dig out a clue, it turns out that the spell that made Juvia emotionless was called ‘Apathy’, once a person drinks it, he will feel like his senses are leaving him slowly.

It made Gray’s stomach churn with the idea that Juvia felt every emotion leave her mind and heart, it means that she was also scared, terrified that she could not feel anything.

It took a day to find a cure, but by the end of the day, Juvia finally had her senses back slowly, it started with fear. Juvia didn’t what’s happening to her or how it was happening, she was anxious, stressed and terrified.

It was very hard for Gray to try and comfort her every time, she always felt like something was trying to get her, his heart was broken in pieces but that didn’t stop him from being there for her.

And then sadness, and gradually she got her emotions settled and stable.

Gajeel came back after successfully ‘smashing her head with his iron fist’ which made the master question him if he really did that or if he was overreacting.

It turns out he didn’t kill her but he did knock her out.

Much to Gray’s disappointment.

“Juvia, you really don’t need to do this” 

His partner has been cooking plates of food and dishes with extra desserts, and Gray is grateful for it, he won’t deny any of her meals if only she gives herself a break from cooking everyday.

“This is the least Juvia could do because of what she did!” she refused to budge from her spot as she stirred a pot of chicken soup.

“That was not your fault” Gray sighed when she didn’t reply, hyper fixated on the pot in front of her, her ears were deaf.

He can already feel a headache coming. But he could have her screaming and yelling her love for him than having her sitting in a chair staring in the void like she was dead.

The warm hand on his arm snapped him from his circling dark thoughts, Juvia’s gaze was worried.

“Gray-sama, are you alright?” she asked.

Gray smiled warmly and brought her to his arms, she immediately reciprocated , giving him a tight hold of her own.

“Yeah, I just want you here for a while” he responded, enjoying the gentle warmth of Juvia’s body against him and living in the moment of blessing.

Merhabalar. Açıkçası sana içimi dökmek istiyorum. Çünkü nedense samimi ve cana yakın geliyorsun bana. Sanki hayatımdaki herhangi birine anlatsam, şu an sana yazmam kadar iyi hissedemem. Neredeyse bir senedir hayatımda birisi var. Gerçekten çok seviyorum. Ben çevresinde çok fazla insan olmasını seven biri değilim. Ondan önce üç arkadaşım vardı. İkisi erkekti ve uzun süredir arkadaşım olan kişilerdi ama ben onunla ilişkimiz ilerledikçe rahatsız olabileceğini düşünerek o söylemeden iletişimimi kestim. Fakat onun çevresinde bir sürü kişi var. Sosyal bir insan. Hem erkek hem kız olmak üzere epey arkadaşı var. Bundan çok rahatsız oluyorum. Söylüyorum ama bir şey değişmiyor. Uzun uzun mesajlar atıyorum ama fayda etmiyor. Aslında isterdim ki ben hiç nefesimi yormadan, kırılmadan beni anlasın lakin ona en ufacık bir şeyi anlatmak için en az yirmi cümle kurmam gerekiyor. Bu zamana kadar bütün kavgalarımız çevre faktöründen dolayıydı. Onun haricinde hiç başka bir sorunumuz olmadı. Evet, ben kıskanç bir insanım. Onu paylaşmak istemiyorum. Kardeşinin yanında dahi olsa modum düşüyor. Yanındaki kişiyi benden çok sevdiğini düşünüyorum. Haliyle kafada kurmalar, soğuk davranmalar, uykusuzluk, tartışmalar istemsizce gündemimize oturuyor.

Merhaba bu durum biraz kötü kardeşim buna bi son vermen gerekiyor yoksa sana olan sevgisini özlemini kaybetmene sebep olabilir. Acilen son vermen gerek :) .. eğer güvenini sarsacak bi durumla karşılaşmadıysan çevresinde bir sürü kızda olsa sana olan sevgisinden eminsen hiç önemsememelisin bu durumu. Eğer o sana demişse erkek arkadaşlarınla sohbet etmeni istemiyorum takılmanı istemiyorum diye senin de ona öyle söyleme hakkı doğuruyor anlamına gelmez. Ama anladığım kadarıyla o sana söylemeden böyle bi tepki vermişsin çevrendeki erkeklere bu durum yanlış. Eğer o zaten rahatsızlık duysaydı sana söylerdi bu şekilde yapmanı, rahatsız olmadığı bi durumda arkadaşlarınla arana mesafe koymamalısın. Bırak oda koymasın sen de seviyorsun oda seni seviyorsa abartmaya gerek yok. ( kız kardeşinden kıskanmak da çok saçma geldi ) engel olman gerekiyor kendine dediğim gibi yoksa ilişkinizi zedeleyebilir :)
