Just finished being human and feeling so insane. Also, I’ve seen you talk about some bonus content (dvd bonus scene, rookileaks) what are some of the main things to look for to help feed my new obsession?

I was actually just putting together a little directory of bonus content for new fans who started the show because of me, so you asked at a very convenient time. the biggest hitters of bhuk extra stuff:

becoming human: s3 set miniseries following adam as he goes back to school and makes friends with a teen werewolf and ghost. I find it fairly charming, but warning for pretty constant early 2010s fatphobia, it put me well off the first time I tried watching.

alex's unfinished business: s5 set miniseries about alex coercing the boys into hijinks in the name of trying to figure out her unfinished business.

the rookileaks: a bunch of leaked emails from rook's computer that came out over the course of s5, they provide more insight into him as a person and also give a few updates to various minor characters from earlier seasons.

s5 final bonus scene: this is one of a handful of extra scenes made for seasons four and five (I assume they were just for seasons four and five as I haven't seen any around for earlier seasons), but this one is uhhh. more plot relevant than the others.

other bonus scenes: annie and leo, michaela, hal and annie, adam and hal, allison, cutler, snow and milo, rook and tom, rook and the home secretary

character prequels: mitchell, annie, george, ivan and daisy, hal, tom, the old ones

being human unearthed (parts one, two, three): making-of documentary of the first season.

the pilot (parts one, two, three): pilot version of "flotsam and jetsam" with a mostly different cast and very different vibes.

I also believe there were in-character video diaries posted by lloyd at censaa during s2? but I haven't seen them around anywhere, I'm not sure anyone archived them.

So, I just wanted to ask ki what would book/collection would you recommend to a person who'd like to read a bit of poetry, but don't have much of an idea...

i personally don't read english poetry much but i can suggest you some hindi poetry books so here we go:-

Rashmirathi by Ramdhari Singh Dinkar' :- One of the first books of Hindi poetry that influences people has to be 'Rashmirathi'. The poem narrates the story of Karna, from Mahabharata, in an extremely personal and captivating manner. Best line from the poem - 'Jab naash manush par chhaata hai pehle vivek mar jata hai'.

‘Saaye Mein Dhoop' by Dushyant Kumar :- 'Saye Mein Dhoop' is the type of poetry collection that can make people experience different emotions at the same time. It captures the complexities of human emotions and the struggle for identity and one of the most beautiful poems from the collection is 'Bhuk hai to sabr kar'.

'Kamayani' by Jaishankar Prasad :- Kamayani is an epic poem that looks into the eternal conflict between emotions and intellect, which has been a part of life for centuries. Jaishankar Prasad's strong yet relatable language and the deep philosophy that went into the lines make it a classic of Hindi literature.

'Raat Pashmine Ki' by Gulzar :- When talking about contemporary poets, Gulzar shines in every aspect. And his brilliance shines in 'Raat Pashmine Ki', which is a collection of verses that have the power to paint the emotions of love, longing, and loss.

'Saket' by Maithili Sharan Gupt :- 'Saket' is often hailed as the magnum opus of Maithili Sharan Gupt and there isn't a speck of lie in this statement. The poetry reimagines the Ramayana from Sita and Urmila's perspective and Gupt's deep empathy breathes new life into this timeless tale.

'Yama' by Mahadevi Verma :- Mahadevi Verma's 'Yama' is an extremely emotional tale of life, death, and the human condition. Through her strong, powerful words and verses, Verma has made many confront the inevitability of death and all the while has celebrated the beauty of life.
