When we repent of our sins we begin a new change in our lives and a new direction. Our loving Father forgives us and does not keep score.

The following is a very good example of his divine grace. The great British automaker Rolls Royce takes great pride in the reliability of their handcrafted automobiles. An obviously wealthy owner of a Rolls took it to Europe on an extended trip. While traveling in France the car had some mechanical problem. He called the Rolls Royce factory and asked that they send out a mechanic immediately to fix the problem. The company responded in royal fashion. They put a mechanic on a private jet with all of the necessary tools and flew him over to France to make the repairs. The owner was so wealthy that he wasn't at all concerned about the cost, and he would not spare any expense to assure that his beloved Rolls Royce was properly repaired. However, after several months he realized he had not received a bill for the repair. He directed his secretary to contact the Rolls Royce factory to inquire about the charges. He received a prompt reply from the Rolls Royce company. With typical British assurance, it said simply, "We have no recollection or record of any Rolls Royce having ever had a breakdown or being in need of repair anywhere in France."

When we repent and ask God to fix things that have resulted from sin in our lives, like Rolls Royce, he fixes it and doesn't have any recollection of the problem, and he NEVER sends a bill. Let us remember that sin is a disease of our heart and through repentance we are forgiven that we may LIVE FOR HIM.

Anyway, I kept trying on a bunch of outfits for watching the pride parade in Bham tomorrow. What I really wanted to wear was veto'd, as my mother said "you look like an 18yo nazi". My response was "yes but do I look GAY". Which.. she shrugged and nodded. I think I dress like that anyway. But still, I get it, it's getting harder and harder to wear fetishized military gear out in the wild regardless of how gay you are, much to my dismay. Anyway it just got used as my reluctant testosteronaversary selfie so w/e.

Can GB News use this image for our coverage? - with credit, of course." Mark responds, "No, I don't want anything to do with GB News. You don't have my permission."

From here, the replies get much less official and sillier. Jamie Crichton replies, "Hi Mark would it be okay to adapt your story into a feature film screenplay? In advanced discussions with Keanu Reeves but we've got Keith Chegwin in reserve." Mark responds, "Hi Jamie, I hope you're OK. Yes on the film screenplay but I want Rege-Jean Page to play me."

Greggg Wallace replies, "Hi Mark, hope you're OK. Would it be okay for me to spell okay like this rather than OK with credit to you?" (As o-k-a-y rather than capitalized O-K) Mark responds, "Hi Gregg, I'm great thanks, I hope you're OK too. I'll contemplate the best way to spell OK/okay at my next morning gym session, not as early as yours though. Have a great day and continue spreading your joy."

Steve Sales (he/him) replies, "Hey Mark, I'd like to use this as my phone's wallpaper but with absolutely no credit. Is that ok?" Mark responds, "Yes, of course."

Joanna Di-Bella replies, "Hi Mark- is it OK if all teachers in the land use this as a photo prompt for writing newspaper reports?" Mark responds, "I'm always happy to help teachers, you do such an amazing job."

Seán Clarke replies, "Hi mark I saw a frog. Would you like to use the picture? With credit of course." Attached is an image of a frog on asphalt. Mark responds, "No, I would like to save the frog before it gets run over by a bus."

James Ratcliff replies, "Hi Mark. I hope you're ok. I'm at a bar with some friends, is it ok if I show them your photos, with a credit?" Mark responds, "Yes as long a you get me a pint of London Pride."

Our pride likes to tell us that the good within us is because we are so great on our own accord. As we allow ourselves to increase, and God to decrease our egos inflate and we become convinced and deceived that we are actually the center of our own universe and we might even end up believing we are the center of everyone else’s universe too.

If there is any good in me at all, it is God. Whatever is left, that is me.

When we accomplish good works, we are quick to take credit. When we fail, we are quick to place blame. We default to praising ourselves for all the good in our lives while we tend to take little to no responsibility for the bad in our lives. It’s not a balanced equation. It’s a false equation. It’s deceptive. It’s a trap to draw you in and build you up as the god of your life.

The more time you take to grow and love God the better you will know Him and the more you will realize how much we fall short in our sinful nature. He is the source of all good in us. Nurture your relationship with Him so you can see Him and know Him more profoundly.

Imagine yourself being completely emptied of all that is God. You are standing still in a quiet room, your feet firmly planted on the ground and all the good within you drains out from your feet and up to the Heavens. Who is your center? Tell me now, who is responsible for all the good in your life? What is left of you without God? How will you choose to live your life? Will you choose to glorify yourself and hide the goodness of the Lord? Or will you make yourself small, so that God can shine?
