Yep. They were following her. She knew her body enough that she was dead. For one, as a shut-in, she wasn't athletic at all so she'd be able to run for maybe ten seconds tops...but on top of that cause she was just going on a snack-run she didn't put a bra on so sprinting way out of the question anyways. She'd die of embarrassment before this monster even got to her if she tried, which gave her one option...
