The Bad Batch Workout Split
I'm a bit of an intense gym-goer. Anime, live-action characters, and other animations have really inspired me to go above and beyond what I thought I could do. Clone Force 99 inspires me so much! They're all so fit, have different advantages, skills, and physical strengths. For fun, I created a workout split based on each of the modified clones. I hope you enjoy it! There’s a bit of a fanfic element to it as each Bad Batcher describes their favorite workout routine:)
(Part 2)The Bad Batch Workout - The Frat Boy Days Edition
Wrecker - Legs
Wrecker never skips leg day. Whether he's on a mission or with Gonky in the back of the ship, he's always training! Wrecker encourages you to train safely! He says to feel free to train until failure on machines, but to pick a weight you'll be safe with on the free weight work.
Leg Extension - 2 sets of 15
Hamstring Curl - 2 sets of 15
Deadlifts - 3 sets of 6-8
Leg Press - 3 sets of 10-12
Smith Machine Split Squats - 2 sets of 6-8
Gonk Carry (Sandbag Carry) - 3 reps; set a distance you’re comfortable with.
The Daily Bad Batch Burner Finisher (see below)
Crosshair - Push & Shoulders
Crosshair is built to carry his gear and Firepuncher 773 up mountains, towers, and more. His shoulders are strong to sustain his sniper work and throw enemies in close hand-to-hand combat. He suggests getting someone like Echo to spot you so you can work harder, but if you're going it alone, be smart and hang out with the Smith machine.
Incline Press - 3 sets of 10-12
Bench Press - 3 sets of 10-12
Shoulder Press - 3 sets of 10-12
Delt Raises - 3 sets of 10-12
Farmers Carry - 3 reps; set a distance you’re comfortable with
The Daily Bad Batch Burner Finisher (see below)
Hunter - Back & Abs
Hunter knows he has an amazing back to waist ratio and maintains a steady back routine to maintain it. To build out your back, he suggests warming up your abdominal muscles first, then heading straight into heavy rowing work.
Cable Crunch - 3 sets till failure
T-Bar Row - 3 sets of 6-8
Assisted Pull Ups - 3 sets of 10-12
Cable Lat Pulldown (Palms in) - 3 sets of 10-12
Cable Row (Narrow) - 3 sets of 10-12
The Daily Bad Batch Burner Finisher (see below)
Tech - Full Body + Cardio
Tech may be all brains, but you have to give credit where it's due: the guy is built. He'll climb up vertical surfaces with Echo on his back, overpower enemies with a broken femur, and perform fantastic movements to protect others. Tech suggests performing heavy compound movements to work multiple muscle groups at once and mastering your own body weight. At the end, listen to a podcast, music, or show; or if you can maintain focus and a higher heart rate, read a book.
Assisted Chin Ups - 3 sets of 10-12
Hexbar Deadlifts - 3 sets of 10-12
Barbell Squats - 3 sets of 10-12
Assisted Pull Ups - 2 sets of until failure
The Daily Bad Batch Burner Finisher (See Below)
Entertained cardio - 45 minutes
Omega - Arms & Accessories
She may be the little sister, but Omega is a straight up badass and her brothers know it. She's getting used to performing compound movements with her brothers, but enjoys working on accessory movements as it's time for her to focus on herself in the gym and get away from all the "bro" noise.
Calf Raises - 3 sets of 10-12
Preacher Bicep Curl - 3 sets of 10-12
Tricep Pushdown - 3 sets of 10-12
Hammer Curl - 3 sets of 10-12
Front Raises - 3 sets of 10-12
Shrugs - 3 sets of 10-12
The Daily Bad Batch Burner Finisher (see below)
The Daily Bad Batch Burner Finisher
Clone Force 99 has exceptional grip strength and endurance. Here's the burning finisher for the end of each workout. If you don't have access to battle ropes, any free weight arm movement can replace it.
Each exercise till failure x3
Battle Rope
Pushups
Static Hang
Clone Force 99 says good luck on your training. You'll need it.

Can you walk us thru your drawing process for your poses? I'm planning to study artists I think are cool, and I really like how dynamic your art is. It's ok if you're not comfortable with it. I just thought i should shoot my shot
(つu⊂)
Oh of course! It's actually an honour you think of me as an artist worth studying!!!X3 Any way I'm pretty sure I'm very inexperienced but my brain just tends to register different poses I observe from the actual lmk show. I just do it okay! I'm a kid so I dont think I'd make a great teacher but I advise to study dynamic action poses from references of other artists even the lmk show itself probably daily . I actually spent a week constantly pausing a storyboard animation of nezha fighting mking and my style just adjusted. You are absolutely free to study my art if it helps. Good luck on your art journey. PSST ALSO I STUDY YOUR ART FOR COLOURS. I'm still learning too.
BUT FOR MY WEBCOMIC I ACTUALLY SKETCH THE SCENES IN MY SKETCH BOOK AND THEN DRAW THEM IN MY SCHOOL TABLET. I'M ALWAYS GIVING MYSELF OPTIONS ON WHICH SHOT IS BETTER. ALSO LOOK UP CAMERA TODDLING FOR ACTION SHOT CAUSE THERE A LOT OF THEM. I EVEN SKETCHED THE ACTION SCENES OF MY CHAOS BEYOND AU. PHEWW! THAT PRETTY MUCH IT.

Grung
Image © Wizards of the Coast
[The first time I paged through Volo’s Guide to Monsters, I thought grungs were original to that book. They’re not, but fairly obscure by its standards. They first appeared in the late AD&D 1e Greyhawk Adventures, with a handful of Greyhawk appearances in 2e and nothing in 3rd or 4th Edition. Chris Lindsay is one of the 5e designers and the self-proclaimed head of the “grung preservation society”, so he rescued these from the vault of forgotten monsters.
The original grung wasn’t very interesting, which is probably why it didn’t travel far beyond Greyhawk. It’s basically a smaller, venomous bullywug. Giving them a color based caste system and variable venom is all 5e, and it’s certainly enough to make them stand out. Interestingly, although their initial Volo appearance paints them as decidedly evil, in later works sympathetic grung characters appear, and they turn up in activity pages for children’s books sold for charity. Like Pathfinder and its goblins, it’s hard to keep something evil and cute strictly evil and cute, I guess.]
Grung CR 1 LE Humanoid (grippli) This brightly colored humanoid frog is covered with blotches and spots. Its head is oversized in proportion to its body.
Grungs are small batrachian humanoids. They are brightly colored, resembling anthropomorphic poison dart frogs. This coloration defines the grung’s role in the species caste system. Green grungs are laborers, hunters and warriors, whereas blue grungs are artisans and crafters. Purple grungs act in administrative and management positions, and they report to orange grungs, which are the equivalent of nobility. Red grungs are scholars and spellcasters, and the rare gold grungs are rulers of their tribes. Although these colors are genetically determined, color changes and the resultant change in status can be bestowed through ritual magic and the use of particular drugs. Grungs advance by character level, with fighter and ranger being common in most castes, druid or sorcerer common among red grungs, and gold grungs often taking levels in bard or skald.
Most grungs are evil in alignment, enjoying their mastery of poisons to addle minds and weaken bodies. Those that are not tend towards lawful alignments, as they natural sort people and creatures into neat, orderly categories. Ambiguity disturbs grungs, and they distrust lateral thinking, gender fluidity and other signs of flexibility. Grungs fight to defend themselves and to take slaves. Grungs enjoy bossing around creatures larger than they are, and use their slaves as test subjects for new poisons they brew as well as putting them to more traditional hard labor. A grung settlement is built around one or more sources of water—rivers, ponds and hollow trees are all common—in which adults soak themselves to rest daily and eggs are laid and tadpoles raised. Grungs are primarily carnivorous with a diet of small game—insects and other arthropods, small mammals and birds provide most of their calories. Their rituals and ceremonies usually involve the consumption of poison dart frogs, manchineel and akee fruits, or other intensely toxic materials.
Grungs and grippli are related, but the exact relationship is obscure, and the two species do not get along. A grung stands between two and a half and three and a half feet tall and is venerable by 50 years of age.

A creature that is afflicted with grung poison is sickened and suffers from the following compulsion, based on the grung’s color: Green: Cannot walk or fly; must jump or climb in order to move Blue: Must shout loudly every round Purple: Must soak self in liquid (water, mud, etc.) and is nauseated if not soaked Red: Must eat food if at hand and must find food if not eating Orange: Cannot cooperate with allies; cannot flank with them, give or receive aid another attempts or other skill check assistance, makes attacks of opportunity against them and must be hit with touch attacks. [ @sasuhinamonth || SasuHina Month 2019 || Day Seven: Falling in Love with an Ex ] [ Uchiha Sasuke, Hyūga Hinata ] [ SasuHina ] [ Verse: Best Years of Your Life ] [ AO3 Link ]
...he’s pretty sure there’s some kind of unwritten code about this. Friends’ exes are, surely, off-limits. He’s heard the phrase “used goods” before...but that pisses him off. For Sasuke, it’s more a betrayal of trust, in a weird way. Sure, Naruto isn’t dating Hinata now...but they were an item for over a year in high school.
And then, well...graduation came, and...that all fell apart when he moved states for a sports scholarship, and she stayed local. There were a few weeks of long distance communication before he decided he wasn’t too fond of being tied down to someone so many miles away...and with so many ‘new opportunities’ to explore.
When he told Sasuke that during a visit home, the Uchiha nearly decked him.
Really?
Really?!
Well...he is, admittedly, a little biased. You see...Sasuke had harbored a crush on the little Hyūga lady for nearly all of high school. But he never made a move, seeing as how Hinata has been pining for Naruto for far, far longer.
So, they finally gave it a try their senior year. And for a while? Things seemed to go swimmingly. Naruto boasted about how thoughtful Hinata was, how attentive, how sweet…
And Sasuke just grit his teeth and went with it.
So when he heard that Naruto was abandoning that just because it would take a little effort? Just because there were other tails to chase now that he was suddenly free of their small town? It infuriated him.
But...he didn’t say anything. Partly because, well...Naruto was Naruto. There was never any stopping him once he made up his mind about something.
...and maybe...just a tiny part of him was glad. Not because Hinata would now be heartbroken - never that. But because - just maybe - how he could have his chance. Seize it before something else were to come up and beat him to the punch a second time.
But how to do so without being too hasty? In no way does he want Hinata to feel...pressured. Or like he’s taking advantage of a failed relationship for his own gain.
By some odds, they are both attending the same school: one just a town over from where they all grew up. Hinata is studying humanities. Sasuke? Business. Only because it’s what his father wants him to do. Beyond that, he has little idea what to do with himself once schooling ends.
Well...except for one thing.
There’s only one class they share together: a core credit English block. For the first week or so after the bomb drops, he isn’t sure what to do. He hasn’t really talked to her - they haven’t even acknowledged that they share the class. But Sasuke notices that, the day after Naruto informed him he was going to cut ties? She isn’t there.
...or the next day.
Then the weekend comes, and he finds himself embroiled in anxiety. Is she all right? It’s not like her to just...skip class. Sure, this is a bit of a big deal, but…
Come Monday, he gets to the proper room a bit early, lingering outside as the previous class awaits to be released. Leaned against a wall, he glances over as someone else approaches...and nearly chokes.
It’s her.
She looks...neutral. Blank face, typical clothes...and yet he feels nervous to approach her. Should he…?
“...Sasuke?”
The sound of his name earns a small jolt. “...hey.”
“I never noticed you were in this c-class…!”
“Yeah...gotta love core credits, right?”
That earns a small scoff of amusement. “Mm...I just want to get to the interesting classes. I already took four years of English in high school…”
“Exactly. Though I was done writing literature essays.”
She manages a small smile. “Well...next time a group project comes up, I’ll k-know who to ask, right?”
“Uh, yeah...right.”
Class passes without incident. Having a few hours before his next one, Sasuke idles in the hall afterward, checking his phone for a text from his mother.
“Hey.”
Another jump. Hinata again…? “...hey.”
“Do you, um...do you have another class coming up?”
“Not until three, no.”
“Oh! M-me either - my next is at four.”
“...oh.”
An awkward pause.
“D...do you want to, um…?”
A dark brow perks.
“I...I haven’t had any lunch yet. I was, um...I was wondering if you’d like to g-go with me? I haven’t seen you in s-so long! And...I don’t get to keep up with many of our...o-of our classmates from high school.”
...he blinks. Is...is she really…? “Uh, yeah...sure.”
Hinata perks up. “G...great! Any, um...any preference?”
“Nah, not really. I usually just go to the Hub.”
“Oh! There’s a little cafe just off campus I like to go to - it’s r-really reasonably priced! And not very crowded, thankfully.”
“Sure, sounds good.”
As it turns out...it’s a nice little place. Sasuke branches out so little, he never even knew it was here. They order something quick and simple, sitting and just...chatting.
...never once does she slip. He watches her carefully, wanting to be sure she’s not still upset. But though maybe a bit subdued, she otherwise seems...fine.
...he expected something, well...more than that. But he’s also glad she seems okay.
“This is...this is nice! I usually don’t have anyone to eat with…”
“Yeah, me neither. Been too nose to the grindstone to make any new friends yet.”
“M-me too. But...I want to work on that. I want to...to branch out more!” She gives a little smile. “But...I thought maybe I’d, um...practice a bit with someone I know. That I’m...a-already comfortable with.”
...damn it, she’s still so cute.
“That’s all right by me. We should, uh...do this again.”
“O...okay! Yeah!”
Sasuke manages a smile of his own. Sorry, Naruto...consider the bro code broken.
.oOo.
Some modern this time around as we wrap up the first week! I always love the love square trope with team seven + Hinata...where Sasuke secretly has feelings for Hinata. So I tend to indulge in it in modern where I have a bit more freedom than canon x3 Naruto, if you're not gonna appreciate our queen Hinata...Sasuke has no choice but to step in. You snooze, you lose! Anyway, that's all for today's SHM drabble! I'll be back tonight with the daily - thanks for reading!

There’s No Camembert in Tibet Outtakes: Chapter 4
I apologize for n o t h i n g.
Plagg’s Songbook
How Cheese is Made
Milk! Culture! Rennet!
The magic potion, oh, let it sit!
Cut it into curds- not too early! Little blocks of baby cheese!
Spin those curds and whey! Drain it off, hey hey hey!
Press those curds down tight, no more whey!
And then the cheese curds are salted- so squeaky!
Oh, fresh cheese curds- yum yum yum! I could eat them all day!
All kinds of curds! Plain, seasoned, deep-fried, poutine!
Garlic! Dill! Spice 'em up! Bread 'em, serve 'em, squeak between my teeth!
All the other curds- oh, where do they go?
They get cheddared and pressed and then the cheese is aged!
Oh, age that cheese, age it fine, let it develop a beautiful rind-
A natural rind! Oh, they dry out and the cheese forms a skin.
Rub it with oil and brine and let it age! And then, come time-
Cut off the rind and I'll get Cheddar and Stilton and Tommes
And oh, it'll feed my tum!
White and soft and fuzzy, you've got a bloomer!
Spray your cheese with mold, get it started,
Let it sit, and let the magic happen! It grows and grows and oh-
Brie! Camembert! Saint Andre! Heaven on my tongue!
If you wash and get moldy, that's a washed rind, ooh!
Stinky cheeses, so much fun! No hard rind here, no siree!
No mold, just bacteria! The smell of stinky feet fills the air, yum!
Let me sink my fangs into that Limberger, that Livarot, that Pont l'Eveque!
The Taleggio, the Epoisses, the Reblochon!
And then for Mozzarella, oh, no rind here!
Work it, knead it, make it stringy!
Twist and pull and push those curds
Form a ball
Then open your mouth and eat it all!
Adrien's notes: Why. Why.
Also, there's no set tune. Plagg sang this as a rock song once and a country song the next time. There's no rhyme or reason to it.
The History of Cheese
It was 8000 BC
Stomachs were used to carry milk
Heat and rennet mixed together
And now you add a little salt
Salt was used for preservation
Keep those curds nice in summer sun
Make those cheese curds daily
The squeak is so much fun!
From Arabia! To Asia! Then Rome!
That glorious process did roam.
To England, and then beyond
The curd, the whey, the strong
Flavor beyond compare!
Oh, the smell that fills the air!
Milk in an animal's stomach
Turns to cheese all thanks to rennet!
Monks improved the taste
Through their tried and true ways
Gorgonzola in Italy, Roquefort in France
Many things made from curd and whey!
Hard cheese for the Romans
Now it becomes an art
Middle Ages was gold for testing
More varieties there art!
Less salt begets more cream
More cream is better for taste!
When it's colder cheeses can ripen
A glorious advance!
In those Middle Ages
First did appear
Camembert, cheddar, Gouda
The staples of anyone's year!
Cheeses continued to improve
Many, many rounds were made!
Many rounds were eaten
I had several per day-
Adrien's notes: Song has been cut off due to length and also the sanity of the scribe.
It was over an hour long and entirely set to the tune of the Mexican Hat Dance. Save me.
Don't Stop Cheesin'
Adrien's notes: Sung to the tune of Don't Stop Believing
(Verse 1)
Just a cheesy treat!
Sitting there for me to eat!
Fresh mozzarella can be eaten anywhere!
Just a cheese bowl!
Get it for a small toll!
I would eat it anywhere!
(Verse 2)
Some cheddar in an aging room!
The smell of brine mmm-mm.
I could eat it all night
Because it's yum and yum and yum and yum!
(Chorus)
Camembert! Brie!
Up and down the cheese store shelves!
Parmesan! Gruyere! Eat it all night!
Come on, people! Live just to enjoy cheese!
Come on, it's just so good!
(Verse 3)
Working hard to get my Swiss
A dairy treat I'll never miss!
Paying anything to get a bite
Just one more time
Some will scoff, some say no
Some were born to pay their dues
To the best thing on the earth
Yes, it's cheese and cheese and cheese and cheese!
(Chorus)
Camembert! Brie!
Up and down the cheese store shelves!
Parmesan! Gruyere! Eat it all night!
Come on, people! Live just to enjoy cheese!
Come on, it's just so good!
(Outro) (x3)
Don't stop cheesing
Feed me some Camembert!
Cheese curds, feta!
Gouda after midnight
Adrien's notes: sung to the tune of "Living after Midnight" by Judas Priest
(Chorus)
Gouda after midnight
Cheddar to the dawn
Colby to the mornin'
Then I'm gone, I'm gone.
(Verse 1)
I ate some cheese 'round one P.M.
Feta, Brie!
But now I'm all hungry again
Cheddar, Gouda!
I power up with my favorite type
And bathe in its radiant light
(Repeat chorus)
(Verse 2)
Got glorious edam, moldy blue
Camembert, Provolone!
Ready to buy them up on sale
Havarti, Monterey!
My stomach's growling, I'm ready to feast
My teeth are bared now, ready to eat
(Repeat Chorus)
(Verse 3)
Gorgonzola
I wanna eat ya!
My stomach's ready
A whole round!
The cheese board's ready, smellin' lovely
Ricotta, Swiss!
I'm getting hungrier by the minute
Roquefort, Vacherin!
I see the cheese and then home in
The crumbs are flying as I dig in
(Repeat chorus 3x)
The Sound of Cheese
Adrien's notes: Do-Re-Mi from the Sound of Music.
Let's get some cheese from the kitchen
A very good place in the house
You had better have the basics in very good cheese
Let me have some cheese like Cheddar and Brie
I love cheese, I love cheese
My favorite food in the world just happens to be
Tasty cheese, tasty cheese
Tasty cheese in my tummy
Cheese! Some cheese! Some tasty cheese!
Someone, get me some Provolone!
Brie, a cheese to fill myself
Farmer's- a creamy, creamy one!
Swiss, a hard cheese on my tongue
Le Roule, all rolled in yummy stuff!
Taleggio, I'll have it on some bread
I want it all at home (oh-oh-oh)
(repeat. Over and over and over.)
Somewhere over the Cheese Hill
Adrien's notes: Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Surprise.
Somewhere over the cheese hill
Cheddar on apple pie
Parmesan that I dream of
My cheesy lullaby
Somewhere over the cheese hill
Brie on rye
I dream of swimming in fondue
Someday it will come true
The smell of cheese will fill the car
White Stilton presented on a platter before me
When cheese is dribbled over mushroom tops
Lush and creamy, cheesy drops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the cheese hill
Brie on rye
And I dream of swimming in fondue
Oh why, oh why can't I?
Well, I see cheese in my dreams and mushrooms too
Cheese rinds bloom in green and blue
And I think to myself
What a wonderful Stilton
Well, I see Roquefort and I see Fontina
And Tomme de Savoie
I love Camembert
And I think to myself
What a wonderful taste
The colors of Shropshire Blue so pretty in my paws
And even more pretty in my mouth
I'd share with the people passing by
But they wouldn't appreciate it
Not like I do
No one loves cheese like I, like I do
I like gooey cheeses and I love their smell
How they taste so good I'll never know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful taste
The smell of cheese will fill the car
White Stilton presented on a platter before me
When cheese is dribbled over mushroom tops
Lush and creamy, cheesy drops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the cheese hill
Brie on rye
And I dream of swimming in fondue
Oh why, oh why can't I?
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh

Chapter 9: Coliseum’s Chaos
>Fate: New dragon x2, 40-50 coli battles x2, death streak, writing x3, breed a nest x2
Poison sighed as she stepped into the arena for what felt like the hundredth time. The number of dragons who were willing to be reincarnated was unbelievable, and she was no closer to getting out than she was when she first came to the coliseum.
Her opponent this time was a hatchling. A young gaoler, who had probably been trapped since they’re kind had faded away from Sornieth.
The fae watched the hatchling. If he’d come as far as she had - which, granted, wasn’t very far in the grand scheme of things, but definitely farther than the average dragon would be able to get - then there was something up his sleeve.
Neither of them moved for a while. Poison studied the gaoler, watching for weaknesses and anything she could use to come closer to the living world again, while the hatchling was probably doing the same. Eventually, he lifted his head and called out to the judge.
“Hey, this one’s living. She shouldn’t be down here at this level.”
Poison glanced up at the row of seats towering above them where the three judges sat. They were all of different breeds, but she didn’t know any of them - they were probably as old as gaolers and died out.
Nothing happened for a while. Both Poison and the gaoler sat in the arena, waiting for something to happen since apparently the fact that she wasn’t dead yet made her eligible to a higher position in the queue. The fae glanced up at the Tribe and her companions, who were watching them with a concerned expression.
After what felt like hours, the doors behind her opened. Poison turned around, surprised, and saw the group she’d been fighting for, alongside a female nocturne. One of the judges flew down and nodded towards her.
“Is this the group you were the champion for?” he asked, gesturing to the dragons.
“Well, yes, but not the nocturne. I have no idea where she came from,” the fae replied. “Although if the others like her, she’s welcome to tag along.”
“Absolutely not,” Abstract said. “She’s been a menace-”
“You’re only saying that because you accidentally released too much magic when attacking me,” the nocturne cut. She turned to Poison and smiled, though the fae wasn’t sure if it was the friendly type of smile. “You must be Poison. I’m Nera, former princess to the Saa clan. Pleasure to meet you.”
Poison grimaced and turned away intending to see how the judge would respond, but he wasn’t there any more. In his place was the gaoler hatchling, who was looking at Blue. The guardian scooped him onto her back and giggled, prompting Poison to roll her eyes. Some members of the Tribe were way too soft.
It didn’t take long for them to be ushered out of the arena and led to another pit. The fights were more extreme than they were in the other one, and Poison assumed that they had been given a higher place in the rankings.
“This is the champion battle. If you win, you will be resurrected - and if you lose, you will be given another chance,” a voice said behind them. Poison turned to see the judge from earlier.
“You, fae, as their champion, will fight in this battle with two others that I will choose. Every fight in this coliseum is meant to be a fair one, and thus we make our final battles three against three.”
“That’s good and all, but who’s going to be fighting?” Ashes remarked from the back. The judge cocked his head at the sound of his voice and sighed.
“Since you ask, you may join your champion in the ring. And you, nocturne, as well, since you are not alive you must earn your freedom.”
The three dragons nodded and stepped down the stairs that would take them to the pit.
The fight was long, to say the least. The nocturne was useless at fighting, and Ashes, while he tried, was not great either, leaving Poison to fend off two fully experienced warriors and a mage.
She went for the mage first, as they were capable of reversing damage dealt to their comrades, and had Ashes distract the warriors. The nocturne just flew around, doing her own thing, taking a swipe at someone if they came too close.
After she managed to fell the mage, Poison went for the warriors. Ashes helped by distracting them every now and again, letting the fae get a swipe in while her opponent was unguarded. Her defensive strategy dragged out the battle more than she liked, but in the end, she was satisfied when all three of her opponents were knocked unconscious.
The floor opened from under then and they were tossed into a white void, and the fae could feel her body heating with a pain beyond what she’d experienced before. She bit her tongue to avoid crying out, and, for some strange reason, she hoped that the others were alright.
~ : ~
Ashes woke up next to his sister - his dead sister - and his parents. The void that had surrounded them when they’d won had knocked him out, but it seemed that the rest of the Tribe were fine. In front of him, Abstract was rubbing his eyes, the nocturne lying next to him.
The guardian walked up to the two and poked them both so they would realise where they were - back in the scholar’s hut, in the living world.
He stopped in the middle of a prod to Abstract’s side when a glint of blue caught his eye. Ashes carefully stepped over both dragons and removes the cloth covering the object.
Two healthy eggs. The guardian knew how they were created - strong bursts of magic from two dragons could create a synergy that would result in eggs, but he hadn’t thought that anyone would have done it in the coliseum. Maybe they were the scholar’s.
Ashes reached out to take one of the eggs in his claws - he’d never touched one before, and he was curious as to how they felt, but a barrier between him and the eggs prevented him from doing so.
“Don’t bother,” he heard the nocturne say behind him. “You’re too close family.”
“I don’t even know you,” Ashes replied, turning to face the nocturne.
“Not me, the father. Abstract. It happened when we clashed,” she explained, sighing.
“Neither Sage nor Blue are related to Ab, though,” the guardian retaliated. “It’s impossible.”
Nera shrugged. “Your father, though? It could be on your father’s side, not just the mother’s.”
“I don’t have a father,” he shouted, regretting it immediately after. He didn’t want to wake anyone else up.
“Ashes, everyone has a father. It’s just a matter of knowing who it is. The synergy can only be created by a male and a female,” the nocturne replied. “Really, what have they been teaching you?”
“But the only ones who were around were Blue, Sage a-” Ashes stopped himself mid-sentence. “Wait…does that mean…”
The guardian looked at Abstract, who was still half-asleep on the floor and felt a bubble of rage begin to build inside him. They lied to me. They all lied to me - and to Heaven! She died not knowing the truth… I’ll kill them. I’ll kill them!
He shook his head and stepped outside, where Poison sat, watching the horizon. She looked up when the guardian sat down beside her and followed her gaze.
“Poison…teach me to fight.”
So! I am officially back. Jetlag is still a pain and school starts on Wednesday, but otherwise I think I should be back to daily posting! Implementing so much stuff was tough for this chapter…
In any case, because of the fact that Poison will, in fact, be training Ashes to fight, a friend of mine suggested flipping a coin whenever I get a battle drop - if heads, its a private training sessin for the two (and they’re immune to death for that reason), if tails, it’s as normal. I’m not entirely sure what I think of it, I think a 50/50 chance is too likely, but I’ll think it over until tomorrow.
And oh my goodness if the read more doesn’t work I will die.

He was always working—always.Nothing could stop Ignis from taking so much as a quick breather just to watchTV or even watch you play video games when it came to his daily schedule. Hehad everything planned out by the book. So much so that it was nearlyimpossible to make him stop. As you found yourself lounging on his sofa thatearly evening, you merely watched as he continued to busy himself with thescheduling for the following week.
“Nearly done?” you asked, chin resting on the bridge yourhands had created as your elbows dug gently into the cushions of the sofa youwere upon. Eyes unable to peer over to look at the entirety of his work, youcaught merely a glimpse of what was on the paper in terms of scheduling inthings for his Highness and himself. A frown creased upon your lips, noticingnearly every hour was filled to perfection of what was to happen in Ignis’daily life.
“Nearly,” said Ignis, moving his glasses up the slope of hisnose with the pen feverishly scratching away on the final day of the week.
“Ever thought of penciling in some time for yourself?” youasked, trying not to be too disruptive, but you couldn’t help but find thissort of thing unhealthy.
“I find a moment or two for downtime, Y/N,” responded Ignis, his sights shifting back and forth to be certain it all fit within reason.
He seemed to sigh and it was one that you caught there inthe quiet of the room. Your eyes turned to him where you noticed the advisorwas looking a bit more fatigued than normal. The weariness under his eyes wasevident more than ever in the lighting, causing you to pushyourself upright to try and urge Ignis’ cheek closer to you, but you found heresisted by accident, his focus there before his work in his lap.
You sighed, shaking your head as you guided him all the moreto peer in your direction at least. “Ignis, look at me, will you?”
Success. His eyes were soon upon yours and his face relaxedagainst your persistence.
“I understand you are the advisor to the young Prince andall, but there is such a thing as having fun and relaxing every now and again, yeah?”
Ignis pulled away from your touch, giving you an awkwardstare with his thin brow raised. “I relax, love!” he responded as if feelingaccused.
A doubtful look overcame you as you sat on your knees uponthe sofa’s cushions with your arms crossed. “Oh really? Tell me when beyond thetime you sleep?” You rephrased it slightly. “Do you sleep?” When Ignisthreatened to turn from you again, your hands quickly found their way to hisglasses to remove them and get a better look at the weariness that was evidentupon his features. “How can you take care of the Prince when you can hardlytake care of yourself, Iggy?”
A quiet laugh passed his lips as he grabbed back his eyeglassesfrom your grasp rather cautiously. “I take care of myself just fine, Y/N. It isyou I am most concerned for given what stress you embrace in your daily life aswell, my dear.”
Rolling your eyes you grabbed at the book he had in his lapto close it and pull it from his grasp rather swiftly, doing your best to keepit from him in the moment. “Show me then!” you insisted, hands upon his chestto prevent him from going after the binder in question you took care of.“You’ve got at least five hours until bed, and I want to see you focus onsomething other than work for once.”
His tone started off stern as if he wasn’t going to foolaround as this. “Y/N—!”
“—Or should I call the Prince of Lucis and ask him to giveyou a day off?” you interrupted, diving quickly for Ignis’ phone as the advisortried his best to beat you to it when he saw what you were going for next.
“Y/N, this is no laughing matter. Now, give it here!” Ignisgrumbled, attempting to keep his temper in check as you played keep away withhis phone till burying it in your back pocket. His chest collapsing againstyours, you heard him breathe in defeat as well as felt his body follow theidea. “Blast it all…” You heard the words whisper nearest your ear before theadvisor sat upright, fixing his attire that felt skewed to him and looked toyou curiously yet again. “Alright, fine—you win, Y/N. How would you like for meto spend the rest of the evening then?”
Your brow wrinkled at the challenge. “You’re allowing me toplan it out?”
Ignis toiled with the cuffs of his coat before gesturing toyou simply. “If you so wish. You have my phone and my folder with all myimperative information I need for my day to day activities ahead, so now that Iam blind in this matter, what do you wish of me?”
You smirked triumphantly, grabbing at his coat to slide itoff of him and let it rest neatly off to the side. “How about just relaxing alittle bit for once in your life as I said earlier?” Positioning yourself a bit more closer tohim, your fingers dug into his shoulders ever so gently at first before usingyour thumbs to try and relax his weary muscles only to truly witness and feelhow tensed he was as he acted as though he were in pain from the massage youwanted to give him. “Goodness,” you gasped, “you are far more tense that Irealized.”
Ignis tried not to cringe too much at your attempts to easehis body, but his muscles were knotted quite a bit from all the stress he hadapparently internalized. “I am sure that’s supposed to be pleasant, Y/N, butyou might want to…take it a bit more slowly for one such as I!” A sharp hisspassed from his clenched teeth, eyes shut rather tightly.
You heard the unpleasant hiss through his teeth, making youcalm the notion before putting it to rest as you turned Ignis to look at you. “Perhapsthis then?” Kissing his lower lip, you saw to it that a series of gentle kissesrelaxed the advisor’s body into the loving sport.
It took a moment, but in time, Ignis’ tensed form did indeedfalter into a relaxed state as your breath warmed his throat and hastened hisheart to where he responded in turn. His touch delicate just under your jawline, he fell for your trap as he sampled the sweet taste of you before fallingfurther with his embrace finding its way about your body to urge you closer tohis chest where you could easily feel his heart beating rapidly with yours.
You used the upper hand in the moment and urged thetactician down upon the cushions of the sofa, playfully straddling him as youknew his weight would handle you. The anxious tension about Ignis seemed tomelt away in time, and it left you to rest pleasantly upon his chest whilenuzzled up under his chin like a common house cat. “Feeling any better now?”you asked, feeling as Ignis’ chest pushed against your cheek in a steady sighhe had gathered and released shortly after.
“By a reasonable amount, Y/N,” said Ignis as a soft chuckleresonated within your ear from where you were resting. His fingers found theirplace within your tresses, casually stroking the back of your head as if toshare the kindness in calming any anxieties you may have that you didn’t wishto be vocal of.
Realizing what he was doing (as you were almost blind toit), you straightened up and removed his touch from you. “No! Nope!” Sittingupright as quick as possible with your fingertips lightly upon his chest, yousaw a rather Cheshire cat grin Ignis was trying his best to maintain and keepsecret even if he knew you were already aware of his plan. “This isn’t about merelaxing, so you can get away with taking care of me—this is about yourelaxing, Mr.!”
Ignis moved his arms behind his head, shrugging his brow asthe sly grin remained. “Well, I almost had you there for a moment, dear.”
“And I am sure the second I drift off to sleep is the momentyou get back to work again,” you snorted in playful resentment to the idea.
Ignis stifled his own laughter. “Indeed, but you resisted.”
Moving off of him, you went towards his bedroom (swattinghis hand away as it tried to go for his phone in your back pocket when passinghim by). “A relaxing bath for you would be good, and then we can read somethingtogether since you hate video games so much and won’t play with me,” youlightly teased.
“I can do the bathing on my own, Y/N,” spoke Ignis as heturned to at least have his feet on the ground to not dirty up his sofa anyfurther than he had. “Unless there was something you’re not telling me inregards to wanting to join me or aid me in such a routine task.” He said it somatter-of-factly that it almost went right through you for a moment till theblush at the idea dawning on you became evident on your cheeks in time. “As forthe video games, I do not quite care for them, no; however, I do not mindwatching you play as it can be relaxing background noise and enjoyable all thesame just to have you nearby.”
Stopping at his hallway just up ahead where his bedroomresided, you looked over your shoulder with a shake of your head. “You canbathe on your own, I am sure. You don’t need my help, Iggy.” Your fingerscasually drummed upon the nearby woodwork of the corridor, taking in his kindcomments. “Honestly…I just want something we can both enjoy in a relaxing fewhours, and if that means sitting beside you and just reading in the quiet, Ican do that.”
Ignis shrugged with a tender smile evident upon his featuresas his hands unfolded from where they were resting upon his thighs. “I canprepare coffee for the occasion, dear.” He pushed himself to his feet, headingto the kitchen just nearby the living room to do so. “The relaxing bath canwait for later, but an enjoyable read with you will be divine right now.”
You watched him do as he promised to, tilting your head tothe side curiously. “You promise to find more time for moments like these evenwhen I am not around?”
His eyes shifted, catching you from the corner of his visionbefore looking away once more. “Well…to keep one’s self busy distracts the mindfrom vile thoughts. Without you nearby, I have no desire to relax and be atpeace; else I focus too much on your whereabouts and find myself troubled fromthe cause.”
Ignis’ own way of saying ‘lonely’, it seemed. Your hand slidfrom the wooden frame of the entryway of the hall, moving back towards theadvisor who continued onward to the kitchen to prepare the coffee. “But youwork yourself to death—even when I am here,” you reminded him, a bit hurt bythat thought.
Feeling your hand upon his upper arm in time, Ignisresponded with his own touching the back of yours, squeezing it reassuringlyand apologetically. “I suppose I’ve gotten so into the idea that work needs tobe done, it’s become a bit of a dreadful habit to even find a moment of peace.Instead of using it to forget my problems and the loneliness that embraces me,I seem to have made it my duty in life to be sure everyone is taken care of,save no breath for my own.”
“And it’s exhausting you, and you don’t even realize it,”you reminded him once more. The worry swelled anew in your breast as you triedto urge Ignis’ sights to you. “Ignis, you have to find a day off.”
“As an advisor, I cannot,” he murmured painfully at yourrequest, brow wrinkled in dismay as the warmth of his palms found your wristswhen you touched your palms upon his cheeks. “That would be to ask the Princeor the King himself to not be so for the day. We have an endless duty tofulfill.”
A frown tugged at the corners of your lips as you removedyour grip from him. “Look, if I talk to Prince Noctis, will you please considerthe idea of at least a single day off from what stress you’re putting yourselfthrough?”
The thought made Ignis sigh in annoyance at you bringing itup again, his arms slapping to his sides as if to ask why you were sopersistent in the matter when he released his hold on you. “Y/N, I—!”
“—Please, Ignis! For me, at least, ifyou refuse to do it for yourself!” you shouted, not wishing to hear another‘no’ in the matter.
Ignis stared down at you long and hard, so much so that youthought for sure he wouldn’t give in. Eventually, his body caved under theweight of guilt and acknowledging you were right in some ways when it came tohim needing to relax. Blowing the sigh from the corner of his mouth, he stoodto attention and nodded reluctantly. “If you, my dear, would be so kind as toaccompany me on whatever relaxing endeavor you may have planned, then I willconsider it.”
Your fists balled with joy near your body, you bounced oncein place with relief. “Wonderful! I’ll call him in a moment!” Moving to thetips of your toes, you grabbed at his shoulders to kiss him briefly on the lipsbefore pivoting around to make it back to Ignis’ bedroom to fetch somethingrelaxing for him to read in the coming hours, hoping to find a perfect time tofree Ignis a bit of his duties should royalty allow it.

Song Fun Facts List #1: Scars
- Scars was written as a response to their 2016 Coyote Stories song 'Never Love An Anchor', which tells the story of a parent abandoning their child
- Thus, Scars is the call and response of, most likely, the child to the parent over time, with the lyrics
"You toiled on a bridge to cross the gap inside, But I couldn't help you build it and I don't know why" (which could also mean that they are refusing to bring back contact)
And,
"Was I born with a hole in my heart? A fatal fault at the start" (the feeling of the parent not being there feeling missing, and could have the child not knowing why they feel that emptiness)
- Throughout the song, the narrarator speaks of how they don't know why they have made it like this, so when we great to the breakdown with "Nothing could've been done, is that right?" They let it all go with that one simple thought
- The lyrics in the final chorus speak volumes about the narrarator's relationship, with them saying,
"Cause I was born with a hole in my heart, Yeah, we were fucked from the start Tell me it's inevitable that I'd end up with scars From falling down, down, We were always meant to fall apart"
...and them coming to terms with how nothing was meant to stay, and they were "ment to fall apart" with the parent
- This song could also be interpreted in various other ways like another Crane or song in general !! This is just one, commonly accepted, theory and meaning :)

Can you destroy my soul with 10 & 28 with Don, Della and scrooge, please? X3 I miss reading your writings aaah! ;u;
I don’t want to destroy your soul, my dear @itsdetectiveliz, but I won’t lie to you. I gave it a good shot. (And thank you so much! Ya’ make me blush.)
Metal fascinated Della. Alone it could not be touched, could not bend, but with the right tools and designs, metal held the power of transformation. She watched above, clutching the railings, as the truckers deposited the metal sheets for the rockets. Almost faint with excitement, she ran down the steps - ignoring the shouts of her name being called in the distance.
“We can’t keep this up forever.” Slowing down, she paused at the corner, curling her hands around the edge, “It’s a precarious endeavor.”
“Which is why Ah hired ye’ for the job, Ludwig.” He patted him lightly on the shoulder and stepped towards the half-finished project, “Ye ‘ere the only one for the job.”
The Spear of Selene was a behemoth. Far greater than the rocket that sent Neil Armstrong to the moon. Della sighed dreamily as she stepped into their presence, stars burned in her gaze.
“I cannot believe you’ve managed to get this far, Uncle Ludwig,” magnificent clouded her tone, sending her off onto a journey she had yet to begin.
“I think it is my best work yet.” He wrung an arm around her shoulders, pressing his cheek next to hers, “And my darlin’ niece will see the stars, but don’t go too far.”
“Sorry Uncle Ludwig, my sights are beyond the stars.” Moving ahead she observed the rocket’s foundation as men and women worked on the compartments. Impossible chanced along her lips, but impossibility was a peripheral concept neither she or Scrooge gave much thought to.
“What are you doing?”
Donald rolled in with a three passenger stroller. Thick circles clung under his eyes, but the boys were wide awake, cooing and sucking on their fingers.
“My boys!” Clapping her hands, the rocket’s magnificence was temporarily forgotten, “Did you have fun at the pediatrician?”
Donald shifted the baby bag hanging on his shoulder, “Fun isn’t what I would call it,” digging through the bag he pulled out a sheet of paper, “Louie’s lactose intolerant. Dewey’s downy feathers are extremely sensitive and need to be plucked daily, tweezers and or preening specified. Huey, perfectly healthy.”
She read through the prescription, “What’s this?”
“A specialized formula you’ll have to pick up at the pharmacy.” Donald stared at Scrooge, “I’m sure you have insurance, and if not, I’m sure you can afford it.”
“Aye, don’t worry ‘boot it lass.” Scrooge tapped his cane impatiently, “That lads are being taken care of, and of course anything for their health.”
“Is there something wrong, sonny boy?” Ludwig patted his back warmly and followed his gaze, “Ah, I see you’re captivated by the rocket, eh? It’s a beauty, isn’t it?”
“Yeah, a real treat.” His exhaustion stare became irritated, “Are you going to take ‘em now, or what? They need to take a nap for twelve.”
“Uncle Scrooge and Uncle Ludwig was showing me -,”
“Sweetie, it’s fine.” Ludwig interjected with a hoot, “The little ones need their nappies, look at ‘em.”
“Ah don’t see why ye’ can’t, lad.” Scrooge answered, “See, problem solved.”
Ludwig frowned, “But we don’t want to overwhelm the boy,” his voice turned stern, “he should get a break.”
“Donnie doesn’t mind, Uncle Ludwig.” She looked at him, “Don’t you? You love the boys!”
Donald gazed quietly at his sister and uncles. Her stars were oblivious and hopeful. He sighed tiredly, smiling stiffly, “Course I love ‘em, come on boys, we’ll go for a nap.”
“But Donald…”
“Now, Ludwig, ‘nough of that.” Scrooge waved his cane after them, “Beakley should be at the manor if you stop there; she’ll get anything you need.”
“Thank you Donnie! I’ll see you soon boys.”
Della kissed each of the boys on their foreheads and waved them off before returning to her conversations. Scrooge and Della focused on the rocket, just as Ludwig cast a wandering eye on his departing nephews. Donald’s hands wrung around the stroller handle.
He wasn’t angry. No, far from it. He was so very tired.
But still, his exhaustion pushed through and mustered a tiny, weak, “I thought we were family.”

We recommend Motorola phone LCD parts because they are affordable.
Motorola parts search, Motorola replacement parts.
But if you're looking for a nice simple stock android experience for everyday shenanigans like messaging stuff like that you're not gonna want to lead too heavy on the likes of the camera and you're certainly not gonna want to do any gaming or anything then it looks like the g20 might be a respectable option personally though i'd probably rather grab myself an oppo a53 which costs as little as 130 quid right now this Cell phone parts is a proper superstar offering a smooth everyday experience two days of battery life and the standard stuff like nfc and expandable storage that displays a mere hd one once more but it's not bad at all for kicking back with some youtube or whatever and impressively you've got a 90 hertz max refresh for it too not to mention a stereo speaker setup and strong audio chops however it's not all good news oppo is being very sore with the android update.
Motorola parts online shop, Motorola cell phone parts for sale, Motorola parts search, Motorola replacement parts
And of course not everyone will get on with the color os launcher as well which is quite a big fat heavy one sat there on top of android design some great features but also can be rather clunky in places the a53 snapdragon 460 chipset and 120 hertz touch response rate means i stood a reasonable chance against the hordes of unwashed school kids when stumbling my way through online slog fests and that 13 megapixel primary camera does a decent job of daily snaps certainly for this asking price now next up in this roundup of the best budget smartphones costing under 200 quid is the excellent poco x3 pro from xiaomi and yes admittedly the standard price for the poco x3 pro is just over 200 quid but xiaomi regularly puts on sales where it dips to just a nat pube under that price tag and it's well worth waiting out and grabbing it when you see it at that sort of discounted price the poco x3 pro is essentially a reinvigorated updated version of the original poco x3 nfc from last year the main update being a massive performance boost courtesy of the snapdragon 860 chipset that is packed inside so the poko x3 pro can handle everything you want even a bit against an impact on low to medium settings that 6.67 inch full hd plus ips display can pump out sharp visuals.
Motorola Screen replacement parts
Motorola Solutions parts
And reasonably punchy colours plus the adaptive refresh rate maxes out at 120 hertz there's a decent stereo speaker setup plus a headphone jack and reliable bluetooth streaming as well when you want to go wireless you've got nfc support for your contactless payments you've got a responsive edge-mounted fingerprint sensor you've got all-day battery life basically everything you could bloody well need and i really like the poko's 48 megapixel main camera sensor which captures short pictures of even the most squirmy of subjects as well as respectable 4k footage in fact beyond the slightly garish design there's not really much to dislike about the poko x3 pro it's proper lush of course not everyone will get on with Mobile parts miui 12 launcher which is still very divisive indeed it's quite a heavy launcher throws in quite a lot of great bonus features but it can also be a little bit quirky at times shall we say and there's generally a lot of crap wear stuffed onto poko.

Weird question but how many followers do you have on this blog???
Totally not a weird question, honey. I ask myself the same thing often when browsing different blogs. x3
I’m currently at 1035.
Which. Heh. When I started this blog I was thinking “Eh, if maybe 100 people decide my rambling is interesting and follow me beyond the fanfiction, that’d be a success”. Now I’m at ten times that amount and there’s still daily newcomers, something that I thought would stop after like a month or so. xD”
Every new follower I get, I’m like “What brought you here? Tell me how I lured you here! Ô__ô”. *giggles*
Anyway. I love you all 💜💜

I recently went through my bank statements and saw how much I spent on Ikesen 😅 I feel extremely guilty spending so much. I've decided to not spend anymore and just use the coins in game (even though a new route is coming out😣) Do you think not getting the premium story parts is that big of a difference? I'm pretty much new to these games 😔
Uh oh, Precious! I think we’ve all been there! ahaha
You don’t have to never spend, if you don’t want to, but you can practice spending better!
I’ll list my own tips for otome budgeting– perhaps you or another corner-buddy may find something that you can apply, for your situation.
But first, you asked:Do you think not getting the premium story parts is that big of a difference?
Yes, there is a difference between the Normal story and the Premium story!
For one, the Normal story is shorter. Certain dialogue, exposition, romantic and/or emotional progression will be omitted.
It also comes with plainer attire, and cannot be re-read, unless you do the entire route all over again and choose the Normal story, instead of buying the Premium one.
However, you can always go back and buy the Premium story the next time you play a route! If you cannot afford it when you are playing it, don’t despair! Just save up for next time!
Now, on to how you can afford the things you want from otome games!
The important thing about money is not the money itself, but how you think about the money.
First, before you even consider whether to spend or to play for free, understand the type of player you are:
Do you play casually, as in once every few days? Maybe even skipping a week or two, or more?
Are you a daily player who logs in each day and collects free items?
Do extras like events, side stories, lotteries, grab bags and special gachas matter to you?
Are you a completionist, or are you only interested in certain characters?
Are you a creator who may need to have to a wide range of material to create content from?
Remember that all app games, no matter the genre, are designed on purpose to be addictive. There are counters and limited edition items for a purpose: to motivate you into spending more, and spending often.
No app game can exist without money, but you do not owe any game your money.
So before you hit the “Buy” button, ask yourself “why?” Why are you buying it, and how would you feel if you didn’t?
When you come across a side story, ask yourself if you really want it. If you’re just curious, perhaps you can talk to one of your game friends who already has it, and get their opinion on it, instead of reaching for your wallet first.
Is the side story something that is only there for a limited time, or can you come back and buy it later? If it’s something that you think you may read more than once, then its value will be more long-lasting, in your eyes.
Do you really want that ranking prize because you genuinely like it, or do you only want it because it’s an exclusive item that others may admire? Is it something that you can see yourself putting on your avatar beyond the event?
Questions like these can help you determine if you are spending your money wisely, for your own needs.
A completionist will need far more closet space and Stamina items than someone who only plays once in awhile.
If you play very casually, you may regret spending $10 on some stories that you’re not likely to re-read, instead of buying something else that you wanted.
Someone who buys only the items related to their favorite handful of characters will save more money than the player who buys everything, no matter what character it is.
When it comes to the type of player you are, there is no correct type– there’s just you, and the way you feel comfortable playing.
Next, you will want to look at what you normally purchase, or what you would be purchasing, if you could spend the money.
If you’re more into attire, you’re going to need the closet space to go along with it.
If you’re a speed-runner, tickets are going to be where you spend the bulk of your money, etc.
It also helps to understand what you are purchasing.
Look at this:
At first glance, this set includes 3,000 Charm.
In actuality, it includes more than that– between 4,500 and 8,250 Charm –depending on what you get as a grade (Excellent or Good), and if you use all of the Tea & Cake during x2 Lucky Time, or if you use it during x3 Lucky Time.
And that’s not including the 3,000 Charm Makeup Palette that comes in the set. Plus, you get a guaranteed attire piece that you don’t have to rank for.
But if you do not want to gamble with your Stamina items, you may wish to buy a set that has a guaranteed Status amount, and no attire item, like one of these:
The above types of sets are fixed, meaning the prices and items do not tend to fluctuate.
In other games, they change in some way or another:
To help budget, only spend the “extra” money that you can afford. “Extra” means something different to everyone.
For me, “extra” means: my rent and all of my other bills are paid, and I have food to last (or the money to buy it) until I am paid again, my transportation is secure (gas, or however you get around), and this money is not part of anything related to what was previously listed, nor is it part of what I will use in case of an emergency.
You’ll be able to figure out what “extra” means, for you, so give it some thought!
A tip for younger players, who don’t have their own money:
Keeping on top of your grades, and helping out in, and outside of, your home goes a long way, when asking for money for anything.
If you are told “no,” an “I understand. Thank you for listening,” or the like will help foster a sense of responsibility and maturity between you and whomever it is, and next time may be a “yes.”
Of course, you’ll also want to make sure that you have permission to be making any purchases.
To help with your spending, younger or older, rather than having the money come directly out of a credit or debit account, use gift cards.
This way, you always know how much you have, and are less likely to overspend.
Players who need to ask for money for games may have more luck asking for a gift card, than the money itself, because the money on the card can only be spent in a guaranteed, agreed upon place, at a set amount.
Depending on where you live, you can find iTunes and Google Play gift cards at big box stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores, in addition to online.
Also, there are usually sales on these types of gift cards, so you can save between $10-30, or more, depending on what the sale is.
For example, iTunes gift cards occasionally have a Buy one, Get one (BOGO) x% off promo.
Heads up!:
If you have a Target store near you, there will be an iTunes BOGO 30% sale for Black Friday, November 23rd-25th!
For Apple players, remember: you will need an iTunes gift card, not an Apple Store gift card, as they are not one in the same!
When you use gift cards, it is easier to visualize your spending, giving you more control than if you spent indiscriminately. By using the same money to buy a card, you have already decided what your range of spending will be, for a given time.
Because you do not pay tax on gift cards, you are taking the same $20, let’s say, and putting it on something where you’ve made an agreement with yourself that this $20 is all you’ll be spending, at the time.
Speaking of tax, remember that when you make purchases in app games, regardless of how you make your purchase (gift card, credit or debit), you are also paying tax.
And the amount of the tax increases, the larger your purchase is!
For instance, if you buy 100 coins for $0.99 USD, you are paying less tax than if you buy 3,500 coins for $33.99 USD.
So if you need 3,600 coins for a set, but can’t afford 5,300 coins, which is the next highest amount, or you just want to have exactly 3,600 coins, you will be paying tax twice.
When it comes to events, remember that they are free content, just like the main story.
If you are trying to stay within a budget, don’t get swept up by all of the bonuses, Stamina and Status sets that you could be buying, because you may wind up spending a lot of money to read stories which are free.
As for myself, I have several accounts for the games I play, and I spend money on them differently.
On my mains, I buy whatever I like that I can afford, and on my secondaries, I buy only closet and castle/garden space.
Sometimes, if I see something that I really, really like, that I can’t do without, I’ll buy it for my secondary.
Since I also play four different games, I like to make sure that I have closet space open in each of them. I like to leave spaces open, so that I’m not tapping through my attire at the last minute, trying to decide what to delete, if I run out of space.
To cut down on buying Stamina items, I use my Energy every four hours for Cybird games, and every 5 hours for SLBP. That way, I can maximize my main and event status for free.
I prefer to buy for my special favorites, as well, so I always know how much I will need in order to buy what I want.
For example, a special side story in MidCin costs 500 coins, $4.99 USD. In SLBP, it is 6 pearls, $4.99, for POV specials.
I am never surprised by what I spend, since the price does not fluctuate much, so I can always plan ahead:
An After Episode will always cost 300 coins, an Ieyasu epilogue will almost always be 4 pearls, etc.
I find that it helps to think of the actual price, not it’s coin/pearl equivalent, since that is irrelevant outside of the game.
Just for fun, the next time you want to buy something in a game, try it for yourself:
Not: ‘do I have 300 coins for this epilogue?’But: ‘do I have $2.99 for this epilogue?’
So every time there is an event in SLBP, I know that I will need at least 8 pearls, since I always buy for Ieyasu and Mitsunari. In MidCin, I know that whenever there is an event, I will need the coins for Sid, and so on.
I usually buy a $100 gift card, and parcel it out amongst my four mains. I don’t always see something that I want to buy, so this $100 can last me for awhile.
I like to take advantage of sets which offer a little bit of everything, because they’re more economical.
For example, I’m more likely to buy the set that has closets, tickets and Stamina items, than the one that only has more Charm.
However you choose to spend your money, I hope that you have fun playing!

You loved him with every fiber of your being. He was alwayson your mind, running through your thoughts constantly no matter the mundanetasks you set upon in your daily life and as you were asked over for theevening, you felt your heart quicken in a bit of excitement and worry given, atthe current time, you were merely friends.
A romance you would desire, but if being his friend meantyou had the joy of seeing him and hearing him nearly every day, then you wouldaccept that as second best as your own courage left you at the idea of doinganything beyond that.
Ignis rarely asked you over late at night as he normallyreserved that time for catching up on a few things before fixing a quick dinnerand going to bed if he wasn’t maintaining his time with the prince. Youcouldn’t help but be curious what the special occasion was, but over the phone,he said very little. He just wanted to ‘spend time with you’ to quote him. Hisvoice seemed heavy with thoughts you wouldn’t have the pleasure of knowing whatof, so you left it to your own assumptions that he was mulling over dinner orsomething else regarding his position as advisor to Prince Noctis.
The door to his apartment was soon in view, you wasting notime to begin knocking on it to be let in even if you felt your empty stomachflip anxiously at what was to await you for the evening. Maybe it’s just to hang out as friends? It is very late though…andnormally he just calls or texts me whenever it’s this hour, you mentionedto yourself only to halt your inner thoughts when the doorknob began to turnand the door opened to reveal him standing there.
“Evening, Y/N,” spoke Ignis as he held the door open for youto allow you in further. “I am to assume arriving here wasn’t any trouble foryou?”
Even he seemed to outwardly admit he rarely asked you overat odd hours and it was there you nodded with a lopsided smile. “I made it justfine.” You would have hugged him as a greeting but in the moment you noticed hewas wearing a bit of a messy apron, and the last thing you wanted (and himselftoo no doubt) was to messy up the outfit you took time into putting togetherfor this rare occasion. “Still making dinner? You know you didn’t have to gothrough the trouble, Iggy.”
“Nonsense,” insisted Ignis right away as he offered his handfor your coat to put away upon your allowing him to. “I would have feltdreadful had you come over, and I merely ordered in.”
With the coat removed from you and placed on the nearby coatrack, you let the smell from the kitchen not far away entice your senses.“Smells divine, really,” you complimented, knowing that fighting him (even ifplayfully) about him going out of his way would result to nothing. Hands to theedge of the counter, away from his work space, you smiled at the healthy meallaid out before you in preparation, nearly complete.
Ignis took back to the cutting board after washing his handsonce more for safety measures in handling the food he was making. “You said your stomach was in a bit of anupset lately, so I was mindful to choose things light on one’s stomach.”
Honestly, you blamed the illness you were just getting overmore than anything. There was no reason as to why ingesting certain foods wouldbe such a problem, but you were happy Ignis took note of it so dinner wouldn’tbe hard for you. “I appreciate it, hon,” you praised, drumming your fingersupon the countertop in eagerness to sample at least one of the dishes he wasmaking. “Anything I can help with?”
“No, my dear. I’ll be fine.” He gestured then to the livingroom just beyond the kitchen counter. “If you wish, you can relax for a fewminutes more as I finish this up. It shouldn’t be much longer, Y/N.”
Again, you felt bad for leaving him to do all of this workfor merely wanting to spend time together, but you let the guilt subside upondoing as he asked for nearly half an hour before dinner was to be finished. Atthe dinner table, there wasn’t much to truly talk of. Most of your textsthrough the day pretty much covered everything you wanted to talk about, so youlet Ignis lead the conversation as you enjoyed a slow and steady paced dinnerjust being in the presence of the man you had grown close to.
However, there came an awkward pause and silence after Ignisexplained the comings and goings of his day and the day to come tomorrow. Hisfork hovering between his lips in thought, you watched as he looked down andaway as if worried to speak of something—perhaps the true reason why he broughtyou there. “Y/N,” he began, your name very heavy as it was released from itscage within his chest, the fork moved down and off to the side to allow himclearance to speak. “If I were to cover this evening up with the mereidealistic thought that I just wanted to spend time with you…I’d be lyinghorribly.”
Your heart flipped so suddenly you worried your stomachwould trigger an upset by accident in fear of where this was going. The way hewas speaking…it harbored at the haven of dread, and you were beginning to fearwhat it was he had to say. “Oh…?” You weren’t sure what else to ask or say.Perhaps it was better to let him keep speaking and not discourage himaccidentally in some form.
His fingers reluctantly unfolded from his palms that residedthere on the table before they slowly moved back inward again as Ignis foughtwith himself on what and how to say what he wanted to. It was a very vulnerableside you rarely got to witness as he seemed to always be focused on his workand appeared to have everything under control. “You, Y/N, have been…” Ignishalted before the words breathed out in a quivering manner. “…my world in afoundation that feels as though it will crumble underneath me at any moment, mystrength when it feels I have no more to give to those around me, and the lightin an otherwise darkening atmosphere.”
Your body stiffened, letting the fork in your fingers lay torest on the plate before you. “I…” You weren’t even sure where to start or howto even express yourself when he was already outshining your inner emotionstowards him.
Ignis’ jaw clenched ever so slightly, making it hard for youto notice right away. The chair scraping against the woodwork of the kitchenarea as he took to his feet and moved over to where you were sitting to guideyour hand into his, witnessing as Ignis moved to his knees to make it easierfor you both to gaze upon one another.
With you at a loss for words, you turned to him with yourlips shuddering in a desire to speak so as not to make the situation difficultfor him as you could tell the confession was a hard one for the advisor.“You’ve always been on my mind, Ignis,” you whispered, voice accidentallyquivering as you weren’t sure where the evening would go now—hoping it wouldcontinue in the right direction. “I’ve wanted to tell you that I cared a lotabout you too…”
His lower lip faltered, a very quiet yet somber soundingsigh passing from him as if hating you didn’t say ‘I love you’. “But not love?”Ignis probed in worry.
Your brow furrowed, feeling a bit attacked by that remark. “Ofcourse!” you spoke swiftly in hopes to keep the dream budding into realityalive. “Of course I love you, as I always have, but…I too wanted much more thanjust to love you as my friend.”
His resolve seemed to come back to him as Ignis’ fingersdrifted towards your cheek to let the tips dance upon your skin like poetry inmotion. “As do I, Y/N,” he confessed forwardly, your eyes closing on instinctas his fingertips begun to trace every part of your features now. When youopened them once more, you noticed him hesitant in some action, waiting for youto allow him to do something you were unfamiliar of given his body language.“May I?” Ignis asked finally, you oblivious to how close he was at that momenteven if you could very well taste the words he spoke.
“May you what?” you questioned, oblivious to his muterequest.
A tender laugh escaped him in a single burst at yourbehavior, one of his hands moving parallel to his features as if to remain asmuch the gentleman as possible. “May I kiss you, Y/N? I do not wish to overstepany boundaries you may have.”
A sharp inhale escaped you, making you numb and unable to responduntil it finally set in that you had been quiet for far too long and nodded. “Iwould love for you to.”
His hands took to your own, holding them protectively inyour lap as the advisor kissed you for the first time in the realm of reality.Heart beating rapidly as the warmth of his breath enticed you into a foggystate of euphoria, you tilted your head to accept the simple and warming kissthat expressed in its own way how new this was for the tactician. Every now andagain Ignis would pull back just a fraction of the way before finding thecourage to excite your lips into another affectionate dance, pulling back a bitmore now and again to look you up and down as if to be certain you wereenjoying yourself and not just being quiet for other reasons.
“I must confess that I’ve never done this before, Y/N,”Ignis expressed in a quiet tone as if it were a secret he wished to keepbetween the two of you.
A smile tugged at the corners of your lips as your liddedeyes equally looked him over in the lighting of the room. “I wouldn’t haveknown,” you confessed, kissing his forehead to try and calm him as you couldtell he was acting anxious at the bold, new steps he was trying to take.
Another hushed sigh of mixed emotions released from him.“I’ve not done any of it, Y/N…Any of it in regards to exploringthe one you love beyond the mere realm of fantasy.” His lips pressed tightlytogether as if fighting and keeping the temptation at bay. “However, should youallow me the honor, I will go by your lead and tread upon your grounds withwhat nobility and love I have within me.”
The idea was new to you as well but only because you’d besleeping with a man who, not only needed a bit of guidance, but was someone farmore special than anybody else. “Then you should take it at your pace and showme what you want to do, Iggy,” you insisted, cradling his face in the palms ofyour hands to get him to look at you even if you knew this was hard for him toadmit.
His eyes closed, lower lip moving inward before releasing itshortly after, and it was there his fingers began to unbutton the dress shirthe wore to at least loosen the fabric but only allowing it to go that far ashis body ached with uncertainty on what to do, fear crippling and shackling himwithout your say.
One hand remaining upon his cheek, Ignis seemed to fall intoit like the sensation of your touch was his everything while his other handfell to his side to keep him propped up properly. The other cupped the back ofyour touch, remaining against your palm as his eyes lidded in love and want, staring at you from behind his glasses with a frown that showed he was enticedby the mere simple moment alone. With his shirt just hanging open on his body, you took it upon yourself to press your fingertips against his exposed chest, feeling as his muscles restricted at the foreign caress before relaxing shortlyafter. Your open touch moved to the fabric just hanging in the way to guide hisshirt down the curve of his shoulder to where Ignis finally responded andallowed you guidance in the rest of the way to expose his chest at least.
You let him adjust for a time before bothering to work atyour own clothing only to have his grip on your hand tighten to halt you.
“Not here,” he pleaded in a ragged whisper.
“Where then?” you asked, fingers tensing at the suddenrequest.
“In the bedroom at least,” he offered, taking to his shirtthat he let drift to the floor earlier before taking your hand and guiding youto the location he spoke of in a rather laborious manner. You could sensewhy—he was frightened of doing wrong by you.
With the bedroom now your sanctuary, you closed the doorbehind you and took to Ignis’ hands once more as he stood facing the oppositedirection. “Don’t be afraid or nervous, Ignis,” you pleaded, touch washing overhim and attempting to settle his anxieties. With his back to you currently, yourested your cheek upon it while embracing him from behind. With how anxious hewas, you could practically hear and feel his heartbeat resonating loudly fromthat side of him.
His touch found yours in time, a sweet and loving hold thatsoon felt the affectionate kiss of his lips as if to thank you for the calmingwords. “My heart feels as though it were in the pit of my stomach, Y/N.” Again,Ignis breathed laboriously. “I do not feel I deserve the honor of undressingyou.”
“If you wish,” you began, lips tending to the space youcould reach on his back, “I can do so on my own and tell you when to turnaround?”
Ignis went quiet, debating on what would truly be best. Knowingthere could be other moments where he would be bold enough to act so on his own,he nodded at your offer. “That would be best for now, love.”
{EDITED!}
“I could blame it on my work, but bloody hell—that’s justlooking for an excuse,” he grumbled, finding the courage to gaze upon you oncemore as ran his fingers through your hair, letting the strands escape him uponevery touch that recede his grasp. “I apologize, Y/N, for you deserve betterthan that…”
“Shhh,” you begged, trying to halt the advisor fromcontinuing to berate himself and his first time. “You work hard, and it wasyour first time experiencing something such as that. Besides, who says therecannot be more?”
Ignis found relief in that statement, glad to know he wasworth still keeping around in your life and your heart. “Thank you, Y/N,” hepractically mouthed given how quiet the words were.
“For what?” you asked, not sure where the sentiment wascoming from.
“For allowing me the honor of loving you,” the advisorconfessed sweetly, planting another kiss upon your lips as he let the warmth ofhis bare body blanket you in the coming chill of the night.
