Was doodling and ended up doing a very rough sketch of the unknown woman from Mina’s dream in chapter 1 of The Prophetess of Bethnal Green.

On the bus home, have therapy in 40 mins. Not excited about it. Work was hard today. Traffic is bad. It’s too fucking hot, 20+ in early May with 25 forecast later this week. People who aren’t worried about this are wrong in the head.
If I was rich I would 100% be checking into the fanciest hotel for 2 nights, maybe 3, and fully utilising the spa facilities and ordering all meals to my room. Watching so many films. And it would have a balcony with some sort of nice view. That’s the only acceptable response to a day like this.

One of my favourite things about dracula daily is I tend to read it on my commute which passes through Bethnal Green so every reference to it makes me feel so involved it’s truly The immersive reading experience
