“I PREPARED YOU A SALAD.” -MY MOTHER-IN-LAW ▫️ I walk into my in-laws’ house today and I was greeted with a salad. ▫️ On Tuesdays we visit my in-laws and my mother-in-law always has dinner prepared for us. She usually always has a keto meal for us. ▫️ Today was not different. Buuuuut she also always has some delicious homemade pastry or type of bread she makes. ▫️ Honestly for the past month I have been enjoying some of those homemade goods. Today I was determined to not get any. Days 3 & 4 (Memorial Day and Tuesday) of LET’S CHANGE ALL THE THINGS On Day 3 We took a break from the kitchen and ripped up about half of the carpet in the living room! Holy tack strips, Batman! Dove and I did that while Carl fixed our bathroom door, it shuts now!!, AND got rid of some wood rot outside our kitchen door for us! Let’s just say: I’m adding Staple Remover to my resume. I’m getting GOOD 😂 On Day 4, both Josh and I had to work so when I finally got home, Dove surprised me with some photos of the AMAZING work they did! Carl made our kitchen sliding door look beautiful and they laid HALF of the living room floor!
