*inhales* i had a cut-throat academic rival in class 5 , like really cut-throat. i was undefeated smarty, and this guy comes new new in 5th and gives me a whole power battle. and, oh, not to sound fictional but for fucksake, he was (still is) tall + vieny hands + deep fucking voice + wore glasses + and most importantly, blood boiling smart. clearly climbed the nerves of 5th grade me. like we were the only ones competing in class tests, exams. gosh i remember how infuriated i was when he got 6 marks more than me. almost everyone knew animosity between us...

and if it doesnt sound anymore wattypaddy broom broom, i fucking had a crush on him akshskskshsksk like a big fat crush, and like i had crushes but this one made me nervous and butterflying for the first fucking time.

side note- we were in the same club that year and we sat nearby and went on a trip TT . oh and my earliest memory of him dates back to when i asked a random guy to come and sharpen pencil w me near the dustbin, and literally started planning how to purge that new fellow. funnily i never had ever talked to this sharpner guy too.

and now...me and that new smart guy are bestfriends. like my parents met him, and we're really fucking close. and that other guy, that sharpner one , we're a trio. bestfuckingfriends. never thought we'd be. 3 of us made it into the toppers list + 1 another guy, who, interesting hated mister veiny tall guy and was my go to bitcher in intital days of disliking
