Could I make a request for Obi please?
They already have a established relationship.
With her recently getting injured, could it be something along the lines of Reader got injured a few months before the World Cup and had to miss it, but Obi mostly was there for Reader. Now with it being the other way around this time, Reader feels conflicted about going to the Olympics as see knows those first few weeks are the hard but she won’t be there to support Obi.
my home is with you
lena oberdorf x uswnt!reader (requested)
authors note: i'm sad about her injury :( I wanted to see her at the olympics and start with bayern soon.. I know she will come back stronger ❤️ here's your request! normally i wouldn’t decide to write about this because it’s so soon, but i do requests (unless it’s too dark & much) so i hope you like :)
warnings: many injury mentions, very long chapter.
being back in your hometown gave you a sense of peace and warmth.
you haven't stepped foot in washington dc since 2018. you left your childhood club to go play at gotham for a year-- before moving to lyon (2020-2022) and then bayern afterwards.
waking up in the morning, you wished obi the best of luck against her game against austria. yes, she will be your competitor in the group stages against germany, but she is still your girlfriend of 2 years.
afterwards, you put your phone on dnd and put it in your adidas bag that you will take to the audi stadium. on game days, the captain (lindsey) highly discourages the players being on social media before games.
as the second captain after her, you agreed to follow that rule. social media can be toxic.
if someone really wanted to reach out to you for an emergency, they can do it through lindsey, emma, or your sisters who came to the game to support your send off to paris.
that's exactly what happened. while you were getting ready in your hotel room-- lindsey got an emergency call from sara dabritz, her lyon teammate who played for the german national team.
sara isn't on the german roster for the olympics, but alex popp asked her to call lindsey-- since she needed you to know of the news as soon as possible.
"sara?" lindsey's eyebrows knitted together. sara calling her during international break and the off-season has never happened before.
"where's y/n?" sara asked, ignoring lindsey's confused tone.
"I haven't seen her since this morning, she might be getting ready now. what's going on?"
"the entire german team is trying to get ahold of y/n. lena went down pretty badly during todays game-- it was her knee." sara swallowed.
lindsey was sad to her about the news. nobody likes when another player goes down with a *possible* acl injury.
however, she was scared on how she was going to tell you the news.
hours later at audi stadium, you walked into the stadium alongside trinity and hal. both of them play on this field for washington spirit, and the three of you bonded over the last few days-- knowing washington dc so well.
trinity and hal stopped at a water fountain to fill up their empty stanley bottles with water. your owala bottle was filled with cold ice water already, so you continued on with walking into the dressing room.
as you turned the corner into the room, you hear your coach Emma, say something along the lines of "well we can't tell her until-" before lindsey stopped her with her finger pointing at your entrance.
you were the first to arrive before the rest of the team, surprising to the captain and coach talking in the room.
"hey!" you smiled, unaware of what they know.
"hey y/n, ready for the game!?" lindsey casually says with a smirk on her face.
the poker face of the lyon player is perfection. something could be wrong but as the main captain, she can't let her emotions take over her logic.
as the second captain of the team, you had every right to question what emma and lindsey were just talking about.
however, you didn't. you were too excited to play in your hometown again. many uswnt fans came just to see you play on your turf again.
"I'm so pumped! my family came just for the send off to paris. some of them talk about "oh we can't never see you play since you're in germany." but now they're here so-" you rambled as you giggled.
for a moment, emma frowned at your happy sight. lindsey turned around to look at the coach with a guilty look, hating that they both agreed to not tell you *that news* until the end of the send-off.
"that's exciting. I'm positive we have a great game ahead." emma says.
your happy mood became a miserable one at halftime. being nil-nil against costa rica was not motivating since you wanted to impress your hometown community.
in the 70th minute, you scored off of a set piece shot by mallory swanson. the crowd screamed as they've realized that it was you, their fellow dc native, that scored the goal.
the game ended with a 1-0. you knew that the team needed tons of things to work on if you wanted a chance at winning gold in the olympics, but that will come with time.
after the send off ceremony, lindsey asked if she could personally talk to you in one of the empty conference rooms.
you agreed. at first, you thought that she was going to discuss olympic matters and what will drive the team to win gold once you reach france. since she is the first captain and you're captain whenever she isn't-- along with alyssa naeher.
however, lindsey was very tense as you sat down beside her in one of the wheel chairs. she made sure to close and lock the door as well-- this is when your heart started racing.
she is your friend and hates to give you the bad news.
"I need to tell you this before you go on your phone and see it in the locker room in front of the other girls." lindsey speaks.
your eyes widened, confused.
"what's wrong?" you start to panic.
"alex-- alex popp-- said that lena went down during the game against austria. it's her knee, y/n."
your heart shattered into a million pieces. you looked away from lindsey as you took a few deep breaths.
the blonde understood why you couldn't say anything after that moment. you thought about lena having a possible acl injury.
you panicked knowing that you weren't there to help her.
"I need my phone!'" you jump up from the wheel chair.
"here." lindsey said, pulling your phone out of her jacket pocket. she made sure that she had your phone on hand-- in private-- so none of the other girls were alarmed about seeing you so upset.
after you switched your iphone off from dnd, you had nearly 200 notifications.
the first is lena's parents-- asking you to call them whenever you had time before or after your game.
others came from lea-- updating you on what's going on with obi. she understands you were playing a game and couldn't answer right away.
some messages were from other footballers in the community that you're friends with, asking you to send well wishes to lena on their behalf.
is this how lena felt back in 2023?
back in april 2023, you were a starter in the second game against Ireland.
you weren't feeling the greatest, your friend mallory suffered a bad injury in the first game and you knew she wouldn't see the pitch for a very long time.
in the second half as the ball was coming from the air, you jumped up to head the ball. at the same time, an Irish player's foot went up in the air to get the ball.
the sharp part of the boots kicked at your ribs extremely hard. your breath was caught in your throat and you landed on the ground-- injuring your ankle by landing awkwardly.
the irish player received a red card, but you were struggling to breath as you needed medic immediately. alex and kelley stayed with you as you couldn't even sit up without squealing in pain.
your ankle was on fire and your lung felt like it was beaten in. torture would've been an understatement.
lena finished playing the game against brazil when jule pulled her-- harshly-- to look at the tv in the dressing room.
the german girl watched in horror as she seen her lover on the grass, you were crying your eyes out as you balled yourself together.
she noticed your hands going back and forth between your torso by your right lung, and your left ankle, as the medics tried their best to figure out what's wrong.
"what the fuck happened?" lena said angrily, in english-- confused as she rushed to grab the remote and turn the tv up.
"this isn't good for the united states before the world cup-- mallory went down on the first game against ireland and now *reader's last name* can barely move without a reaction." a german commentator speaks.
the entire german dressing room looks in horror.
your bayern teammates looked horrified as jule tried her best to comfort a stressed lena.
a replay of the injury happened on the tv a second later. everyone could see quinn's cleat harshly kick your ribs-- the landing on your ankle afterwards made some of the dressing room cringe as if they could've felt it themselves.
"yeah, I don't think we will see her in the world cup after this one." the woman commentator on the tv speaks when a stretcher takes you off the pitch moments later.
lena was quick to immediately call your mom and sisters, since they were there and she wasn't.
she knew how excited you were to play in your second world cup after winning the first one at age 17.
when you got back home to germany, lena was there for you. you suffered with a broken rib and grade 2 ankle sprain.
obi helped you stand up most days and picked up heavy things, since you couldn't even breathe without feeling pain for the first three weeks. lena did your chores at home, helped you with showering (your ankle made that hard to do), she did your hair. she did everything to make sure that you were okay.
you couldn't go to the world cup and watch her play, but you were still so proud of her-- even if she got eliminated in the group stage.
the injury that happened to you made lena fully committed to wanting to marry you. even through your bad injury-- you were there to comfort her once she was back from australia after a failed world cup campaign.
back in the conference room in dc, you rushed to call lea.
she answered in a heartbeat, you were surprised since it had to have been 5:30am in germany while 11:30pm back in washington dc for you.
"lea?" your voice cracked. you hated this for lena, more than your own injury from a year prior.
"how was your game?" lea tried to calm you down.
"it was fine, now what happened?" you ask.
lea didn't take offense to you wanting to know what happened. this reminded her on how lena was with you.
being her closest friend at bayern, and the one that put lena onto you, she understands the bond you have with your girlfriend better than anyone else.
"lena tried to tackle and get the ball away from a player but her knee popped. I think you need to watch this for a better understanding." lea speaks.
on the FaceTime you can see lea typing on a few things on the phone.
you looked up at a confused, yet guilty lindsey. she felt bad for you since you were far from your home in germany.
the notification on your phone showed that lea sent a link to a twitter video. you clicked on it and watch the whole thing play out.
its hard to tell at first, but slowly you could see obi's knee pop out.
this made you sick to your stomach.
after talking to lea for a few more minutes, then waking up lena's parents to talk to them (they didn't mind, they really wanted to hear from you), then laura, then klara-- you were exhausted.
you were allowed to go on the bus early and choose if you wanted to sit alone on the way back to the hotel.
lindsey told all of the girls that something happened- she explained the situation which caused the girls to feel bad for lena and your situation.
you called lena, in private, once you were back in your hotel. she sounded so hurt which caused your eyes to let out tears (quietly) as she talked about her medical scanning tommorow.
many people would do anything to participate in the olympics. you were grateful to be a bronze-medal olympian already heading to seek gold-- but you wanted to go home to lena in munich.
the best player on the uswnt was you, no debate. after scoring in the 2019 world cup final at 17, winning two champions leagues with lyon, being the second best-player now in the bundesliga with bayern, and carrying the national team to bronze in the last olympics-- the team looked up to you.
the girls let you have your space for a while. even on the plane on the way to france.
tierna, your closest friend on the national team, sat beside you. she was quiet as she watched movies while you anxiously looked at your phone to receive some kind of news.
after the plane landed, the girls were quiet as they headed out. you realized that you couldn't sit in pain waiting for the day that you will get home to munich-- that will affect the team chemistry.
as you were in your hotel room, lena called you.
"hallo liebe." you spoke softly.
you heard lena cough before a few seconds of silence started.
the fact that lena called you instead of facetiming you, you knew it was bad. the three letter injury is something u feared for lena as your eyes widened.
"its both." lena mumbles.
"its both?" you question softly as you request to switch the call to FaceTime.
lena accepts and you see her in the hospital room, tears dried down her cheeks as her red face is covered by her hands.
"acl and mcl." she breathed out as she looked at you through the camera.
you frowned as reality hit.
lena couldn't start a bayern next month.
lena won't go to the olympics.
she will have to sit out for at least eight months.
you know she will be okay, since she has the team and medical doctors to help her heal.
however, you were sad that you couldn't drop everything to go back to munich.
"obi." is all you could say.
"I already know what you're thinking-- and don't." lena randomly says.
your eyebrows knit together in confusion as she looks at you with a unreadable look.
"don't leave your team just to come here. they need you-"
"but you need me a lot more." you cut lena off.
she knows you're right, but she can't be selfish-- even with her injury.
"you will be home soon liebe, I know you love me and will care for me as soon as you can." lena says.
"once I'm back in munich, I will be there for you. you aren't going through this alone-- we will fight through this together and you will be stronger." you gave a sad smile as lena smiles for the first time since she went down on that grass.
"Ich liebe dich" she whispers.
"Ich liebe dich auch" you say back.
"when is your surgery scheduled?" you ask.
"we don't have an exact date yet, but they said it might be the week of the 29th." lena says as she lays back in the hospital bed in her black shirt and black shorts.
you didn't respond as lena flipped the camera, showing you a closer look at her knee.
"I am so sorry." you say.
"its not your fault." lena says.
"I know- but again-- I just want to be there for you."
"and you will soon, don't abandon your team." lena made it clear.
"okay, I won't" you sigh.
of course you felt bad that you didn't want to be in france, but in germany instead helping lena. however, you were sad about the group stage match against germany.
lena and you talked about that match as being one of the last moments where you will be "rivals" before she joins you in the season for bayern. now, neither will happen.
days later, the united states plays germany in the group stage after beating zambia 3-2.
you were in the starting lineup. emma needed you for this match, making sure that you talked to a sports psychologist before this match-- just so you were mentally prepared.
you knew how the germans played, so you would be a key to winning the group stage match.
as the teams were going to take their starting eleven picture, you see the germans hold up a shirt in honor of sydney and lena-- who were injured and couldn't be in the olympics.
you sadly smiled at this, happy that they're remembering them.
however, you got your act together fast. lindsey wasn't in the lineup so you were the captain of the match.
at halftime, it was 1-1. trinity rodman scored a goal in the 10th minute but klara equalized in the 34th after an error from #3 on the USWNT.
in the second half, you scored a golazo in the 55th minute after dribbling around sara doorsoun and alex popp.
unfortunately, lea equalized in the 88th minute.
the game ended 2-2 and you weren't happy or sad about it.
all of the german girls greeted you immediately with hugs and kisses on the head. you accepted them. you missed them dearly and they were the closest thing you had to lena right now.
"lea love!" you sigh in relief when you hug her tightly for thirty seconds. the cameras capture the beautiful sight as most know the significance.
"I wish obi was here right now." you lean your head on lea's shoulder as she kissed the side of your head, above your left ear.
"I do too. I hate how fate works." lea speaks through her german accent.
"same." you roll your eyes. not in anger, but in disappointment for the situation and how things can play out for the worst.
"how are you?" lea asks.
"can I be honest?" you ask. lea nods her head.
"I want to be with her. I am so grateful to be here for a second time but I can't imagine her being alone without us." you whisper into her ear.
you didn't want any of your teammates to hear you. lea is your closest friend so you know she won't tell on you.
"she's not alone, she has her parents-- but I totally understand. she will be okay." lea smiles lightly as she pulls a piece of hair of yours behind your ear, a piece of hair that fell out of your ponytail during the match.
lea is right, lena's parents are staying with her at the new house you both own until you can go back to munich-- which could happen in a few days or weeks depending on the outcome of the olympics.
"I know. she's a fighter.' you smirk.
"and a lover." lea winked at you.
lea loves the way that you and lena respect and are in-love with each other. being the third wheel is annoying sometimes (when she has to hang out with y'all instead of her own girlfriend) but she is happy for the both of you.
after multiple matches of the olympics, the united states is awarded silver after losing against france 2-1 in the final.
you were the one that scored against france.
if you said that you weren't in a rush to get home to munich, you'd be lying.
lena's surgery was pushed back to this morning. so you took the uber straight to the hospital from the airport.
the taller german was asleep as you quietly walked into the hospital room. obi's parents hugged you and congratulated you on silver.
knowing that they've been with their daughter for many days, you offer them a break.
"you guys should go down to the cafe and grab lunch for yourselves, please don't take offense to this but ihr seht beide sehr müde aus." (you both look very tired) you whisper since you didn't want to wake lena.
they loved you like their own daughter, so it didn't take them much convincing for them to get a break-- knowing their daughter was in safe hands with you.
when they shut the hospital doors behind them, lena woke up from the noise.
you took out a blanket from your carry on luggage, your back faced towards lena so you didn't see or hear her wake up.
"liebe?" you turned around quickly when you saw lena awake.
she had the same tired look that you're used to seeing when you wake up beside her, but she was smiling at your sight.
you pout in happiness as you walked up to hug her upper body.
"my sunshine, I'm so happy to see you awake." you kissed the top of her forehead as her head pressed against your chest.
lena closed her eyes in comfort, she missed you the most.
"to see me awake? omg I didn't die." lena laughed.
"oh lena shut it, you know what I meant." you giggled back, happy to see lena cracking a joke through her pain.
you look down her body to see the scar on her knee peak out from her hospital gown.
on the inside, you felt terrible. you hated seeing lena in pain. you'd rather it be yourself than her.
on the outside, you looked at lena as she gave you a peak on the lips.
after that, you saw the ponytail of her hair tangled.
"hold on lena." you pull yourself away from her arms and reach into your tote bag.
"no don't leaveeee!" lena says
"I'm not I'm just going to help you with your hair-- it will help you relax."
you pulled out a soft brush from your bag, refusing to use a comb and risk pulling on her hair after she had surgery.
"you're so sweet" lena looks at the brush in your hand and turns her head to the side, so you have better access.
"anything for my baby." you tell her as you kiss the right side of her temple.
"i'm just glad to be back home." you mumble as you start brushing through obi's hair, getting the tangles out slowly and softly.
"isn't washington dc your home?" lena giggled, joking and teasing about the game you played in dc almost a month ago.
"nope, my home is with you."
I hope you're happy with what I wrote from this request! #comebackstrongerlenaoberdorf ❤️🙌

Love your fics and would you do one for Laura feirsinger something fluffy. ( Only if you write for her)
a/n: i wanted to write something for Feiersinger for a while so I'm more than happy with that request
"Say it"
Pairing: Laura Feiersinger x AUSTRIAWNT!Reader
Summary: you just want to hear two words
Type: Fluff
Warning: nothing
word count: 1893
translation: Ich liebe dich/Je t'aime/Ti amo = I love you
-------
You and Laura knew each other from as far as you can remember. First, you played together at Bayern Munich before she left for Sand, and you left to play two seasons for Lyon before coming back to Munich. Your relationship had always been special; you were practically a couple even before she asked you out formally. But it was only a few months before her big move to Frankfurt that she found the courage to do it.
Since then, a lot of things have happened. You joined her in her new club and had to leave your commun best friend, Sarah Zadrazil, behind. And more importantly, you were officially engaged. But unfortunately, your fiancé signed a new contract with AS Roma in Italy, which meant you would spend almost the whole season missing her.
Fortunately for both of you, you were playing for the same national team, and with the new National League came a new national camp. And that was where you were today. The girls just arrived at the hotel when you were already looking for your fiancé. Since her transfer, there was something she never told you, and you needed to hear it now.
As expected by all your teammates, when you and Laura spotted each other, you didn't leave each other. It was not a secret to everyone how close you were, and some of them were used to making fun of it at first, but now it has become something usual.
"Where is Laura?" Barbara asked when she spotted a group of girls talking in Manu's room.
"With Y/n. Like always." The goalie replied.
"Why do I feel stupid to ask that?" The midfielder asked before walking to your room. She was about to knock, but she stopped when she heard something unusual.
"Oh, come on, babe, I know you can say it. It's been like, what? Six weeks since you started to train with them, I'm sure you can tell me now." You said while you were unpacking your stuff.
"We already talked about it, Y/n. I don't know if I'm ready for that." She replied.
"Bullshit." You said before throwing yourself on the bed and dragging the Roma's player with you. "We both know that I'll find it." You said before gently kissing her.
"Yeah, but let me time to prepare myself before."
"Okay, no pressure." You engulfed your body in her tiny ones, sharing as much warmth as you could. "I missed you." You confessed.
"And I missed you too. Now come on, let's get ready, or the girls will start to worry." She instructed you.
"Okay, but just five more minutes." Even if she knew she had to complain, she couldn't when she saw you so vulnerable.
On the other side of the door, your Frankfurt teammate was already not here. The midfielder rushed to her previous destination a few seconds earlier.
"Girls, I think we have a problem." She said bursting the door open.
"Don't you know how to know on a door?" Sarah Puntigam said after everyone was thrilled by the midfielder's antics.
"Sorry, not sorry, but we have a bigger problem than a fucking door." Barbara said.
"Don't swear in front of the kids." Sarah Z said covering Katharina's ears what made everyone laugh.
"Sorry, but yeah, I was saying that I think Laura and Y/n are breaking up." The new froze everyone and everything in the room for a few seconds.
"WHAT?" All the players yelled.
"Shh, keep it low." Barbara instructed them.
"How do you want us to keep it low when you announce something like that?" Sarah P said, gaining a nod from all her teammates. "And how did you get that information?"
"I may have or haven't heard their conversation when I was going to
see Laura." She explained.
"WHAT?" Everyone yelled again.
"You know how much Y/n hate when someone tries to invade her privacy, and it's even worse when it involves her and Laura." Manu reminded her.
"I know, but it's not like I wanted to listen on purpose. I will apologize later. Now can we talk about the main subject?"
"Oh, what are you talking about? I want to be in." You said, appearing behind your teammate. The room froze for a moment. You felt all eyes on you and started to feel a little confused. "Uh, are we interrupting something?" You asked.
"Nothing; we were just wondering where you were, right, girls?" Sarah P said trying to convince you and your fiancé. When you heard all the girls agreeing, you found it suspicious, but you were not going to question it, at least not now.
"Anyway, coach wants us in the meeting room in five minutes." Laura said, and after that, you both left to the room mentioned.
"I don't know about you, but they didn't seem to be near to break up for me." Kat said.
"I totally agree with you, but maybe they don't want to make us worry." Barbara proposed.
"Maybe, but right now the coach wants to see us, so let's go." Sarah Z said before leaving the room, quickly followed by the rest of the team.
In the room, the girls were a little shocked to see an empty seat between yours and Laura's. Even if they didn't question it, some glances were not discreet, and some whispers could be heard. The Bayern midfielder took her seat between the two of you while Barbara could finally talk with your fiancé.
At the end of the meeting, you were one of the first to leave the room. But you were quickly stopped by your ex-teammate.
"Hey, are you okay?" Sarah asked you.
"Uhh...yeah." You replied.
"Where are you going?"
You paused a little. "Restroom."
"Oh, okay, sorry. I'll not restrain you more." She said a little nervous, making you chuckle.
"Yep, I'll be back soon; don't worry." With that, you just walked away.
What should have been a little weird thing for your teammates became something more when the next day Laura decided to train with her best friend letting you with Kathy. You both didn't notice, but a lot of confused looks were exchanged between the entire team.
At the end of the training the Roma's player was leaving with her best friend when she heard you calling her name. She quickly glanced at you before quickly running away from you, forcing you to chase her.
"Okay, that's weird." Sarah P started.
"The most weird thing was that they were both smiling." Manu continued.
"Maybe Barbara was right." Viktoria finished.
"No, that's impossible. We all know how much they love each other; they can't just break up and keep the facade in front of us. We need to start an investigation." Sarah Z proposed, and everybody agreed.
A few hours later, you were watching a movie with all the team in your room. There was a good atmosphere, and everybody was enjoying the moment until your phone buzzed. You excused yourself and left the room to answer. In less than five minutes, you were back in the room and found your spot next to the tiny midfielder.
"Who was that?" Laura asked you quietly to not bother everyone.
"Oh, it was just Laura who wanted my advice for something." You replied, and your fiancé just nodded before she placed her head against your shoulder.
The next morning, the girls were planning a real plan to do everything they could to not let their favorite couple break apart when they heard someone run to them.
"Girls, please help me." Laura begged with an amused expression. The team didn't have time to process everything until you reached them.
"Okay, you know what? Let's do that in another way." You took a moment to think before you started again. "Okay, in English."
The entire team was looking at both of you very confusedly.
"Okay. 3...2...1... I love you!" You both said at the same time. The girls were more confused, but you didn't give them time to question anything before you started again. "Now, in Deutsch. 3...2...1... Ich liebe dich." You said again at the same time.
"What's happening here?" Barbara asked.
"Just a minute. Let me finish that." You return your focus to the tiny midfielder. "Now... Je t'aime." You saw her blush, which made you grin. "And?" There was a little silence; all the attention was now on Laura.
"Ti amo." She mumbled, but your face showed her that you didn't understand. She took a breath and focused her gaze on yours: "Ti. Amo. Is this okay now?"
Instead of replying, you hugged her and crashed your lips against hers. "More than okay." You said with the biggest smile you could ever put on your face right now.
"Okay, what's happening now? I thought you were about to break up. Why are you so lovey-dovey right now?" Manu asked.
"What are you talking about?" You asked, very surprised by her sentence.
"I heard you two talk the first day of the camp, and I thought that you were about to break up because she didn't want to do something or something like that." Barbara confessed.
"First, Barbara, you know that Y/n doesn't when you spy on her. Second, we never thought about breaking up; why could you ever think about it?" Laura explained.
"Wow, now we look stupid." Viktoria said.
"For your information, you always look stupid, like all of you." You said, making your fiancé laugh. "Except for Laura and Sarah Z, of course." You added.
"Okay, that's rude." Your captain said, "But can you explain what just happened?" Laura hid her face in your torso out of shame after remembering why you were both here.
"Oh, it's actually a funny story." You started. "You know that we have known each other since as far as I can remember. But we didn't always play together, so since I came back to Germany after my little trip to France, we decided to establish a rule in our relationship. Every time one of us has to play in another country, they have to learn the local language to say, I love you in this language." You explained.
"Why does that sound cute and dumb at the same time?" Viktoria whispered to your captain.
"Because it is, but she was the one who proposed that, and I can't refuse her anything, so here we are now." Laura defended you.
"But what does this have to do with your behavior from the start of the camp?" The Bayern Sarah asked.
"That's because she didn't want to say it. So I had to chase her everywhere to convince her to say it." You explained.
"I can't wait for the wedding. I would be personally offended if Y/n don't do something dumb like this on D-day. Manu said.
When the girls started to ask more questions, the coach called you for training. On your way to the pitch, you had your fingers intertwined with Laura's when she suddenly stopped making you look at her.
Fortunately for you, you didn't have to say anything because she didn't give you time to react before she kissed you. "Ti amo." She said before letting your hand go and running on the pitch.
"Wait, can we get married like today?" You asked while you ran after her.

Not playing in the Champions League is certainly disappointing, but the fact that you can go to your girlfriend's games cheers you up. You'd been going out with Jana since the SheBelievesCup in 2020. It was the start of the USWNT vs Spain match, and you had just inspected the pitch when you saw that the La Roja team had arrived to do the same. That's when you met for the first time. You weren’t necessarily looking for love, but it seems to have found you and hit you hard.
//
At the end of the match, it was thanks to Kelley and Emily that you had the courage to approach her to talk. You were scared because you'd just won the match and destroyed their hopes of winning the SheBelievesCup. After that, the more the days went by, the more you got to know each other, which is why, at the end of the 2020/2021 season, you decided to go to Gothenburg in Sweden to watch her Champions League final.
Sitting alongside some of the WSL players, you were one of the only ones wearing a Barcelona shirt, even the Arsenal players who were there were wearing a Chelsea shirt despite their rivalry.
//
When the final whistle blew, you rushed to the edge of the stands in hope of seeing her. She took you down onto the pitch with the help of her captain, Alexia Putellas. You thanked Alexia before she winked at you and left to see the rest of the team.
Once the celebrations were over, you went back to the hotel with Jana's team, so it must have been a coincidence that she was alone in her room. You remember you kissed for the first time that evening and you said we'd talk about it when we woke up in the morning if we remembered...
You remembered, and you plucked up the courage to ask her to be your girlfriend. She kissed you back with a big smile and asked if you could keep it between you, because despite everything you're still young, and even though you're in the 21st century, homophobia is still present.
"Of course", you replied, agreeing with her, because even if you’re quite open about it, it's not always easy to live with it when you can get beaten up in the street for it.
//
That's how you ended up in Eindhoven this year, wearing a shirt with 'FERNANDEZ' written on the back with her number 5. This time you were again in the company of players from Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, some of whom were for Barcelona and others for Wolfsburg.
When the abutment team came out, she instantly found you; it was as if she knew you were there, in that very spot. Wishing her good luck from a distance, she gave you two thumbs up and a big smile. These actions did not go unnoticed by Leah Williamson and Lia Walti, who were sitting behind you.
At half-time you tried to reach down to grab Jana and tell her that everything was going to be fine, that she shouldn't go away defeatist.
"Jana" you shouted a little, so that she could see and hear you, she was surprised to see you here, instead of in your seat.
"Stop stressing, stop being scared, you're FC Barcelona, the best team in the world, you can do it. You can win, all right? I trust you, I trust you. So get moving okay, where's the team that gave us a 4-0 hammering during the season?" you say, hoping to cheer her up so she can do the same afterwards in the dressing room.
"We're going to win, I promise, mi amor," she tells you, whispering the last part.
"I'd rather that, now go on, your team's waiting for you, I love you," you say, blowing her a kiss on the cheek and shaking her hand before climbing back into your seat.
When the match resumed, it was immediately clear that Barcelona had not finished fighting, and what the coach had to say in the dressing room did them good, even a little too much, because in just 2 minutes, Patri levelled the score. Ten minutes later, it was Fridolina Rolfo's turn to score, putting the team ahead for the first time in the match.
With a score of 3-2, FC Barcelona regained the title of best team in Europe. As two years ago, you rushed to the edge of the stands for Jana, who quickly noticed me and helped me down the barrier. Deja vu, eh?
"I'm so proud of you" you say, taking her in your arms and twirling her around.
"I could never have done it without you mi amor" she said, wrapping her arms around your neck.
"I want to kiss you can I?" you asked, looking her straight in the eye.
"Go ahead, show the world that I'm yours and you're mine" she said, smiling.
With that, you put your lips on hers before we pulled away because of the wolf whistles that Mapi, Alexia and Bruna were blowing at you.
//
The day after the celebrations, you woke up with a massive headache, to the ringing of Jana's and your phones. She still has her head on you chest with one arm under the pillow and the other on top of you.
"Por favor apaga tu teléfono mi amor" she begged you, burying her head in your neck to get comfortable.
"Careful" you said as you moved to pick up both yours phones, when you handed her hers, you'd already switched your on to find out what was going on, you'd only had time to read one notification when you saw that Kelley was calling you on facetime.
"Hi?" you say, yawning and making sure Jana was comfortable.
"Don't "hi" me, how come it takes you a season in Spain, to be in a relationship with someone?" she asked you half seriously and half jokingly
"Honestly? it isn’t from this season" you say.
"What? and you didn't tell me" she said.
"Oops?" you say, blocking your eyes with Jana who looked at you in incomprehension.
"You could at least be polite and put your girlfriend on so I can say hello to her" she said with a smile.
After that disastrous call, you decided to go back and check the notifications on instagram, when you saw that Jana and you had got your fans chattering all over the web last night with your kiss. Your fans even had time to make edits. Before you know it, Jana had taken a photo of you and posted it on her instagram story, her head with your arm around it and you on your phone looking at all the photos where you'd been tagged. She captioned it, "the best wake-up after being European champion. 💙"

I don't want her!
Sarah Zadrazil x reader
"Y/N, why don't you team up with Laura then I'll go together with Kathi." Sarah suggests and before I can say anything she is already walking over to Kathi.
"She is a little strange these days, isn't she?" Laura Feiersinger asks and I nod, grabbing a ball from the sideline.
"Yeah maybe."
We kick the ball back and forth and during training I notice that Sarah always tries to get Laura and me to do things together.
And while Laura keeps wondering what's up with her, I know exactly what is happening.
We are on national team break this week and Sarah believes that I got a crush on her best friend and our teammate Laura, so she is trying to set us up.
And yes this is kinda also my fault.
When we arrived her I was talking to Manu and Sarah Puntigam about how much I missed spending time with her at the national team, since I missed the last two camps cause of an injury in my shoulder.
Sarah overheard the part of the conversation where I said her name and since I looked in the direction where Laura and her were standing just a second ago, she thought I had talked about Laura not her.
And because she was just too nice for this world, she asked me about it and decided to help me make a move on her.
Like I said, my own fault.
"Do you guys wanna hang out in my room later?" Laura asked at lunch and we both agreed to come by after dinner.
Well I was there, Sarah came half an hour late because she had to call her mom and left way too early, saying that she was tired from training and wanted to go to sleep early.
The next days are full of Sarah trying to get us to do everything together.
We are playing a friendly against Iceland and on our flight to Reykjavik she even switches seats to make us sit together.
At the day before the game we hang out at Lauras room and again Sarah leaves before me.
"Laura?" I say as I'm about to leave too.
"Yeah?" she looks back over at me.
"Sarah thinks I am in love with you."
She gets up from her bed and comes closer to me, as I am already standing at the door.
"I really like you...but definitely not like that." I quickly say, not wanting to make this awkward.
Laura sighs in relief.
"Good, because I also don't like you like that." she says and I open the door.
"Now we just need to tell that Sarah."
She laughs at my comment and pulls me into a hug.
"You are my best friend, you and Sarah." She says, holding me at my shoulders.
"You are mine too."
"And because we made that clear now I can say that I love you, without making it awkward."
She laughs at my comment and nods "Love you too."
We say our goodnights and I walk over to my room.
----
The next day is long since our game is at 7pm so we don't have anything to do the whole day.
I hang out with the other players and around 5pm we drive to the stadium.
Sarah is still trying to force me do talk more to Laura.
We win the game with 2-1 and Sarah, Kathi and I talk to Glodis Viggosdottir, our teammate from Bayern for a bit before we also get chanced and get a late dinner while driving back to the hotel.
Most of the other players go their own rooms to get some rest but I walk around a bit together with Laura.
We talk about the way Sarah tries everything to make us fall in love and I then tell her how she came to the conclusion that I'm in love with her.
Laura decides to go to bed after we walked past her room for the fifth time, while I keep walking around the hotel.
Hoping to get tiered so I will fall asleep faster.
I stand by one of the big windows at the end of the hall and look over the dark city until I hear footsteps behind me.
I see Sarah coming towards me and smile at her sleepy face.
"You're still awake?" she asks, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
"Yeah, I'm not tired yet."
"To busy thinking about Lauraaaaaa?" she asks, smiling mischievous.
"No." I say, a little bit tiered of this. I didn't want her to think that I was in love with Laura, our best friend when it was her I actually liked.
"Don't worry well get her to think about you tooo."
"Sarah I-"
"I know, it can be really hard when someone doesn't like you right away, but I think there is definitely something going on between you two." she interrupts me.
"But I-"
"I mean that hug yesterday! I saw that and-"
"Sarah!" this time I am interrupting her. "I don't like her." she looks at me, still smiling.
"I know, you love her."
"No!" I answer "You heard me talking to Manu but you misunderstood what I said. It is not her that I like. I dont want her!"
"Who is it then?"
I look out the window for a second, there is a slightly green line in the sky.
The polar lights.
"It's you, I like you."
The silence between us is strange.
"Why didn't you say anything?" she asks and I feel her looking at me.
"I didnt want to make things weird, you don't like me like that." I say and then feel her hand in mine.
"Y/N?" she asks and I turn towards her.
"I do like you and I was really sad when I head that you're in love with Laura, but I wanted you to be happy so I tried to do everything that you would be happy." she explains and only as she steps closer to me I realize what she had said.
"You like me like...?"
"Like I thought you would like Laura."
A smile forms on my lips and I cant help but get lost in her beautiful brown eyes.
And the only thing that sends me back into reality is the feeling of her soft and warm lips touching mine.
I kiss her back, carefully pulling her closer by her waist.
"Please never try to set me up with anyone again." I request as we brake apart again.
Her cheeks bright red.
"Only with myself."

2 "That should be our Christmas card this year." With aitana bonmati
A/N: Day thirteen of the Christmas advent calendar.
Losing to Bayern in the group stages of the champions league wasn't suppose to happen. You know that you played poorly and you apologised to every single one of your team mates at full time.
"It's not your fault Y/N, at least you scored" Aitana tries to comfort you but she knows that nothing she says will make this sting less.
"Yeah, I scored once. Do you know how many shots I missed? More than I ever have before. I wasn't good enough, you deserved better"
It was your last words that got to Aitana the most. With Alexia's injury you took it upon yourself to lead the team and with that came copious amounts of pressure and she was the only one that saw the toll this was taking on you.
It doesn't come as to shock to Aitana when she emerges from the shower and you are nowhere to be seen.
"She's—"
"I know where she is. You can leave without us. We'll meet you back at the hotel, this might take a while" Aitana tells Patri and the rest of the team.
When Aitana walks through the tunnel and up the steps it is eerily quiet. When she gets to the pitch she takes a seat on the bench as she watches you take shot after shot. She recognises them because they are the shots you missed during the game. You then run shuttles, as if your body hasn't taken enough of a beating.
A hour passes and you show no sign of slowing down so Aitana takes matter into her own hands.
"Cariño, that's enough" she places a hand on your shoulder, stopping you from taking the shot.
When you see her it's as if the football side of your brains shuts off and all of sudden your legs feel like led.
You don't move though and Aitana can tell you are in your head.
She grabs your hands placing them around her waist, in doing so she covers you in her puffer jacket knowing that you will be cold now that you have stopped.
"Are you with me?" her hands rest on your shoulders. When you look at her you see the softness in her face and in suit a smile appears on yours.
"There you are" Aitana says.
This is one of the things you loved most of Aitana, she was able to calm your mind and allow you to be still.
"Time to go" you say as if you have completed what you stayed back to do.
Aitana simple nods her head happily as you chose not to fight her. She uses her arms to pull you close enough to her that your faces are almost touching. A smirk tugs at your lips when you catch her glancing at your mouth. You know what comes next and you welcome it. Before your training you looked around and even asked a security guard if all the fans had left, you had the place to yourself so you to didn't hesitate to kiss her. You poured all your frustations into it and Aitana did the same.
"Now it's time to go" Aitana pulls you towards to the tunnel and you leave the stadium to go back to the hotel.
When you get back to your hotel room you are met by a sight that never means anything good. Mapi, Patri, Sandra, Pina and Mariona look like they have been waiting for you to get back. The looks of fear and hesitation on their faces only add to your suspicions.
"What is it?" Aitana beats you to it. Clearly she is thinking the same thing.
You watch your closest friends look back and forth to each other as if mentally playing short straws.
"Mapi" you look towards your best friend.
"You and Aitana are all over the internet" she walks towards you phone in hand.
When she shows you the image on the screen you feel your blood begin to boil. You were an open book with the fans. You would always be the last player to leave the pitch so that you could meet as many as them as possible. You always took pictures with them when you were out and about in Barcelona. One thing you made evidently clear was that your personal life was private and you asked them to respect this. Yet as you look at the screen clearly the person who took the photo didn't care for your wishes.
Aitana watches your shoulders rise as your body tenses up at whatever Mapi is showing you.
"What is it?" Aitana repeats her question only this time her tone is more curious with a hint of worry.
She peeps over your shoulder so she can see Mapi's phone.
There on instagram, for all the world to see, is you and Aitana cuddling and kissing on the pitch at Allianz Arena.
It isn’t that you were ashamed of your relationship with Aitana. In fact you would say being able to call her your girlfriend is one of your greatest achievements. It's that life can a little overwhelming at times and having your bubble with Aitana helped you through those times.
"Thank you for telling us" Aitana tells your friends.
Having done what they came to your room to do, they all leave.
"Y/N" Aitana begs you to look at her.
"I'm sorry"
An apology was the last thing she expected to come out of your mouth.
"I never should have kissed you. We were in public and I should have known that there could have been someone watches us. Now the world knows about us and I know you wasn't ready for that"
This was personal. You took it upon yourself to protect Aitana. She didn't have the same spotlight on her as you did and you wanted it to stay that way. Now things were going to change.
"Never and I mean never apologise for kissing me. We knew our bubble would get popped eventually, I can't believe we got to keep this between us for three years"
"You're not mad?" You ask her.
"I am. A stranger had no regard for our privacy but there's nothing we can do about it now"
You admired Aitana's level headedness, it's something you have never been good at.
"You've got to admit, it is a cute photo. The way the stadium is empty and it's just the two of us"
The two of you look at the photo again.
"That should be our Christmas card this year." Aitana suggests.
"You say that like we did one last year" you laugh at the choice of words your girlfriend used.

Leon Goretzka [NSFW Alphabet]
A/N: Good afternoon fellow girls and gays~ Today is Leon's birthday and to celebrate it, yes here we have ✨Smut✨ I present unto you Leon's NSFW alphabet with all my spicy Headcanons for Bayern's resident thot daughter. Hope you like it <3
A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)
He would be the one to enjoy the view, if he is on top of you, loves to see his work, your body covered in small sweat drops, blushed, and with cute marks of love bites. Then with a smile full of affection asks you if you need anything and how are you feeling, proceeding to give you a kiss and cuddle next to you.
B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
Due to his hard physical training, his chest and arms are strong and defined, being a perfect view while being under him. He loves your thighs, especially when he is grabbing them to hold you against him, your legs locked around his waist. Secretly wants you to sit on his shoulders to feel them around his head.
C = Cum (anything to do with cum)
One of his favorite views is how his cum pools in your abdomen when he finishes outside, loving how in a way you're his and his only, that picture being exclusive to his eyes. After that, he will be careful to clean you up, if possible with a warm towel.
D = Dom/Sub (are they more dominant or submissive in bed?)
He loves to dominate you, making sure you know who you belong to, even sometimes telling you to say it in the middle of making love. Of course everything with any boundaries or limits of your preference, he would never hurt you in any shape or form.
E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)
He may be experienced but even he has some questions sometimes, mostly regarding your body and how specific things make you feel, but you notice when he's shy to ask you so he's relieved when you take the initiative in those kinds of topics.
F = Favorite position (self-explanatory)
He can't pick just one, but one that's close to being his favorite is he being behind you while you being all on fours, sometimes your head against the bed. He adores how your back curves to rise your lower back to take him whole.
G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous?)
He has this serious mood while being on top of you but If you make any joke or something weird happens (ex: while you're both into it and the phone rings or he's unable to unbutton your shirt so he has to admit defeat and let you do it) he smiled and even laughs at his failure of keeping the serious and seductive aura.
H = Horny (how they let you know they want to have sexy times)
Depends on where you are. If you're at his place, some kisses and touches would be enough to let you know he wants you in his bed, but If he's at the club or you're somewhere else some spicy texts would get the job done, also one or two pics wouldn't hurt either.
I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)
When the moment is up for some sweet lovemaking, it may be because there is a special date, an anniversary, or just a lazy afternoon that needs extra affection. There, he wants to make you feel loved and special. Kisses, holding you close to him, and comfortable positions under the blankets are the best parts apart from the soft love you's whispered in your ear while he enters you.
J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon)
You'd rather touch him, but If you're far from each other, there's nothing that a video call can't solve. Loves watching you undress for him while he starts to touch himself in his hotel room. You can spend the whole night telling how much you need and desire each other.
K = Kink (one or more of their kinks)
Is very much into the Dominant kink, liking the restraints and teasing side of it. Most of the time he is the one who likes giving, touching you, making you feel good, and knowing exactly what you like. Wants you to feel comfortable while he takes charge of the situation and lets you feel loved and cherished.
L = Location (favorite places to do the do)
Has discovered a liking to having sex with you in the shower, going for another round while cleaning you up. It gives him the opportunity to touch your whole body, using his hands everywhere, and last but not least, likes to dry you with the towel and brush your hair afterward.
M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)
He normally has a high sex drive when he's around you so giving him extra motivation is going to guarantee you a passionate night. You may surprise him with a new set of lingerie or a different toy to try, even with a new sex position or moaning his name while being touched by him.
N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
Nothing that implies making you uncomfortable, grossed, or scared. He has very clear that a relationship is for two, not for only one's pleasure.
O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
Has a preference for giving and is very, very skilled. Knows exactly where to use his tongue, and where and how you like it. Your taste arouses him a lot, and also the sweet sounds you make when he swirls his tongue exactly where he knows you'll orgasm.
P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)
Depends on the mood you're both on. When you're especially sensitive, he will do it slow and sensual, teasing you and wanting to hear you beg for him to fuck you harder, faster, how much you need him.
Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
A quickie before going to train is perfect to get his day going, being able to taste and touch the love of his life in the morning. It could be without taking off your clothes, using his hands to lower your clothes just enough to get the job done.
R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks?)
The adrenaline of the risks you may offer him are something he really likes, may it be something in a public place or a new kink you are interested in trying.
S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)
Another of the pros of his physical training is his stamina to go all night long if you're up to it, usually not getting exhausted over one or two rounds. Also, he knows how to extend the night so you're not done after coming only once or twice.
T = Toys (do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)
The toys he likes to use are mainly restraining ones that he'd use in you. If you want to experiment with other ones he is more than open to please you. A rather cute fun fact is that he would be too shy to enter a physical sex shop, so he is good with online shopping.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
Teasing is one of his favorite things, may it be physical, with soft touches and kisses over your body, or when you're not with him, sending you texts or pictures from the locker room and with few clothes to tell you what his plans in bed are with you tonight.
V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make.)
He likes you being vocal, also while being dominant with you would tell or ask you things like "Tell me how much are you enjoying it" and "Moan for me, baby". He is not so loud himself, his breathing and gasps are the only sounds he makes, well, sometimes if the moment is very special you've achieved to draw soft moans from him.
W = Wild card (a random headcanon)
He's very sensitive himself, so if you want to tease him with your mouth, or touch him under his clothes, be prepared for a very turned-on man that will take you by your wrists and shove his tongue into your mouth while grinding his still-clothed erection against you.
X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)
A very well-built body. You have the pleasure of having a sculptured view to enjoy. Leon knows you like it so while training likes to tease you with a selfie of himself, sweaty and only in his shorts, pulling them down slightly so his hip bones and the skin below are visible enough.
Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)
His sex drive is at its top point when you haven't seen each other in a while, maybe while he is busy with several pieces of training or interviews before an important game, so after everything is done and he can finally rest at home, he would be more than glad to let his body show you how much he missed you.
Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
Likes to make sure you're comfortable and that you don't need anything before falling asleep, usually he is not that sleepy afterward so has the time to take care of you before exhaustion takes over him.

Another one behind a paywall
https://www.sportherning.dk/artikel/b2936750-9100-4136-a391-fa72c10fb6e3/
Pernille Harder has fought back from her first long-term injury and feels that her body is strong again ahead of her first World Cup final round.
Pernille Harder has, among other things, won eight championships in a row - across three of Europe's strongest leagues.
Nine cup titles and three finals in the Champions League are also there. Along with an EC silver medal.
But the star player, who was born and raised in Tulstrup by Ikast, has never been a part of the World Cup in football.
- I am really looking forward to experiencing it and being part of the WC. Of course, we go out on the pitch to get the best possible result, and I give everything for that. But as I said, it's my first WC, so I'm just looking forward to soaking it up, says Pernille Harder.
She delivers the words to Herning Folkeblad before Tuesday's training on the hybrid track in Herning Fremad. This year, the national team has set up its big WC training camp in Herning with three training days this week and four next. The squad for the final round is announced the day after the last training session in Herning.
The injured thigh feels strong again
Of course, Pernille Harder does not have to worry about her place in the World Cup squad, even though she has not actually played a single international match this year.
She was injured in an international match against Switzerland on November 11 last year and subsequently underwent surgery for a thigh injury and was sidelined for five months.
- It was the first time I was out with an injury for a long time. But I worked really hard during my injury period to be in good physical shape when I came back.
And it also felt good when I returned, says Pernille Harder.
She got playing time in the last six games of the season in the English league for her club, Chelsea, and scored five goals in those games.
Now she is also back on the national team for the first time since the injury.
- It feels great to be back. Nice to see the girls and train with them and just be in the national team camp again, says the 30-year-old offensive ace.
The fact that the training session takes place in Herning with accommodation at Hotel Eyde is only a plus.
- It feels quite homely. After all, it's only 10 minutes to Ikast, smiles Pernille Harder, who still has her parents Annie and Mogens and older sister Louise in Ikast.
There are exactly 29 days until the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand begins. Denmark is in a pool with the European champions from England, China and Haiti.
- We have a month to train hard and make sure we are sharp.
- We are of course looking to progress from the pool. That's how it always is.
And then we'll have to see after that, points out Pernille Harder with a sense of humor.
New challenges in Germany
She also has a lot to look forward to at club level. Just three weeks ago, she and her boyfriend, the Swedish national team captain Magdalena Eriksson, were presented as new players in FC Bayern München.
It may seem surprising to some that one of the world's best players is saying goodbye to the up-and-coming and money-rich English league, but for Harder it makes good sense.
- I wanted to try something new. And I really like the German culture and German mentality, and I think that Bayern as a club is really interesting.
I like the values in the club, and I think it's a really good team that I hope I can help to become even stronger, says Pernille Harder.
She played three and a half years in the German Bundesliga before moving to Chelsea, and thrived enormously in the German back then.
It was in VfL Wolfsburg.
This time it is Bayern Munich, and this time it will be with Magdalena Eriksson. The Swede has been at Chelsea for six years.
- It is of course a big plus that the club wanted both of us and sees a good role for both of us in the team, she states.
They have both signed three-year contracts with the southern German big club, which has won five German championships on the women's side - including two within the past three years. In the past three seasons, Bayern have been in two quarter-finals and one semi-final in the Champions League - The aim is to play for the titles in Germany - both the championship and the cup - and try to chase the big one: the Champions League, says Pernille Harder, who has been to three Champions League finals without winning the major trophy.
I wanted to try something new. And I really like the German culture and German mentality, and I think that Bayern as a club is really interesting

From strangers to lovers-
georgia stanway x reader
it was a cold night in germany as you and your friends walked into a popular club, straight away you headed for the bar and ordered shots for one another, a few shots down u we’re starting to feel tipsy. You were singing to a song with your friend when you got pushed you into a girl, immediately going to apologise you were caught speechless as you looked at the gorgeous woman stood in-front of you. Her name was Georgia Stanway, an english midfielder for Bayern Munich, you had already briefly met as your best mate is good friends with Lina Magull but only with a quick hug and a hello. Georgia was there with her german teammates after winning their league cup as a celebration, Georgia looked into your eyes for a few seconds and accepted the apology greeting you with a hand to shake “ hey again i’m georgia nice to meet you”. she softly laughed. “Y/N” you quickly replied with. “Nice to meet you too georgia ” you smiled, as she looked you up and down with a grin.
As the night grew colder you and Georgia had bumped into each-other a few more times whereas this time was different. “i’m so sorry Georg-“you got cut off when she placed her hands on your hips and pulled you in closer. “Y/N would you like to dance?” Georgia asked politely. “if only it means with you then yes” you responded. Well that was it, you and georgia were on the dance floor all night long getting closer and closer and getting more drinks as the night went on.Eventually you looked around yourself and georgia only to realise that no one else was in the club except your best friend and Lina Magull Georgias German teammate. “i think it’s a bit late” georgia laughed. “yeah we’re the only ones here besides them” you chuckled pointing at your best mate laughing at Lina. Georgia had placed her hands back on your hips and asked for your number saying you need to meet up again another time, agreeing, you happily let georgia type her number in and walked toward your mate and told her it was time to head home. After 20 minutes you arrived at your hotel leaving your best mate to go off into your separate rooms and looked down at Georgias contact laughing at the fact she save it as “Stanners 😘” coming from the jokes you shared that her brothers always called her it.
A couple of weeks had passed and you and georgia were getting along very well and had went on a few coffee dates -well that’s what she called them- it was the end of the season for georgia as she had suggested you and her went on a walk down to the beach to watch the sun set , of course you said yes and had brought the football she had gave you after scoring a hatrick for bayern. You met at your usual spot , the coffee shop which you both visited regularly, you got to the shop before georgia and was just juggling the ball in your feet when you heard a familiar voice speak out to you. “look at you go! almost as good as me” georgia spoke with a smirk coming from the sides of her face. “i learnt from the best” you winked at her. “oh really who was it that you learnt from i might have to go to her myself” georgia questioned sarcastically. “ oh i just went to a girl named Lina Magull she’s such a good footballer she taught me the best” you teased back at georgia. georgia pushed into your shoulder as you made your way down to the beach. taking your shoes off as the sand filled the gap between your toes you had sprinted off with the ball at your feet as georgia chased you calling you a cheater for starting earlier. Very quickly georgia caught up to you hugging you from behind and picking u up away from the ball and taking it away from you. “Hey that’s not fair give it back” you complained to georgia only getting a cheeky laugh in return. Sighing, you set up two goals using your shoes as two posts and your jumper and Georgia’s shoe as the other, seeing as she had the ball she kindly gave you the ball to kick off with knowing she’d be getting it back within 2 seconds.
You played for hours until the sun was beginning to set, you and your “stanners” as you now called her had sat down on a blanket she’d brought with her and layed down next to each other as you listened to her awful jokes that she chewed your ear off with. “ so y/n, got any boyfriends recently” she questioned. “who said i was dating boys?” you replied. “oh i’m sorry i thought u weren’t interested in girls” she apologised. “don’t you worry stanners but yeah i do like girls, well a girl”you boldly confessed. “ omfg y/n y/l/n likes someone” she shrieked. laughing you asked “who do you like georgia stanway anyone in particular” georgia smirked at you “well i do like a certain girl but i’m not sure if she likes me back” georgia admitted. “ well stanners why don’t u just ask the lucky girl i think she likes you back in fact i know she does” you smiled. “oh does she now y/n/n and how do you know that” georgia asked. “ i have my ways G i have my ways” you smirked at her. looking away at the sunset georgia was staring at you, you could feel her stare on your face only to clench your jaw making her blush more than she already was. “y/n” she said softly. “yes my love” you replied smiling at her. “would you like to be my girlfriend” she nervously questioned waiting for an answer. “but wouldn’t your crush not like that?” you teasingly questioned smiling. “ of course i’ll be your girlfriend georgia i’ve liked you since i first layed eyes on you” you blushed. georgia smiled while pulling you in for a kiss which only deepened as the sound of waves crashing against the already damp sand and the sun lighting up the sky in an orange pinky type colour.
It had been 6 months later when your contract had ran out at bayern and you had got offers to move to the uk. The offers had came from, Manchester United, Chelsea and Spurs. Seeing as you moved to bayern from utd you obviously had to make an iconic return to your former club. Your decision was not whatsoever easy in the slightest, but ever since you got that offer you hadn’t been able to get it off your mind. Just a week later you and Georgia had sat down and talked about this. G took this hard, she was really upset that her girlfriend would’ve been leaving her and moving 797 miles away from her. Although seeing Georgia upset you knew this was the best for your career.
A week passed and it was the day you had to finalise your move to manchester, you were quite upset not only because u had to say bye to your best mates and your girlfriend but because you and Georgia had a massive argument the night before and Georgia went to stay over at Lina Magull’s house and you and G had ended on bad terms and just to top everything off you woke up to a post-it note on your bedside table with a box of chocolates from her the morning you were leaving to say she didn’t want to be with you anymore and said “it was for the best”, now this broke you but you had to look on the bright side and we’re looking forward to starting your new season in the WSL.
Everything was going amazing at united you had got 6 goals and 5 assists in 9 games, you were on fire and was quick to be a fan favourite. Being manchester’s number 9, you had massively increased in population and we’re always on people’s minds wether it was media or your opposition, you were living your best life in manny and had almost forgot about your moment with georgia the day before you left, however what you didn’t realise was that Georgia always watched your matches and had staked your social media and because Bayern had a week off georgia decided to do something fun.
Manchester united vs Manchester city, this was your first ever derby in the WSL and you were pumped up for it, the music in the changing rooms and the vibes between everyone on the team you just knew this was going to be a good day. Marc had called out the staring 11 and of course you were up top, right in the middle. Marc gave you a job of trying to be a nuisance to city’s defence (which you really were) and to wind them up like crazy. You were the one kicking off the ball earning your side facing away from the stretford for the first half and facing them for the second. It was the first ten minutes and you were already dribbling past the likes of Alex Greenwood and Steph Houghton in defence. Skipping to the 25th minute, you were awarded a free kick just about 25 yards out. Seeing as you had a history of scoring dozens of free kicks in your past, Marc had put you on them. As the ref blew the whistle you took 4 steps back and took a breath. You ran up to the ball and struck it with a spin and curl, well that’s all you needed because it ended up tucked into the top right hand corner leaving Ellie Roebuck on the floor barely even reaching the ball. You sprinted to the corner flag doing your signature celebration as you had one hand grabbing the badge and your other hand pointing to your head which was the first celebration you done when you first joined the club. The referee blew the half time whistle and the fans gave you a standing ovation as you and your teammates walked through the tunnel. The second half went quick as you sealed a solid 3-0 derby victory over man city you scoring 2 and assisting Geyse with her first for your club. Everyone was pumped in the changing room as you walked in with your “player of the match” award, everyone started chanting your name and cheering for you as you sat down in your cubby as you started getting changed. Eventually, all your teammates starting leaving the room to get to the coach and you realised you were the only one in there. You picked up your phone and went on instagram only to find the story your ex - georgia stanway- had posted, it was a photo of her and your former teammate Lina Magull holding hands and looking out to the sunset with the caption “Meine Liebe für immer und ewig” well that made your heart sink and you immediately had a lump in your throat. Looking around at the blurry room from your tears forming in your eyes you said to yourself “Fuck you G i can’t believe you” you didn’t regret saying it because you firmly believed that she had already moved on just after 7 months after you had been bawling your eyes out most days due to your break up. “Well that’s not very nice is it” a very familiar voice had said to you “congratulations my love i’m so so proud of you” georgia had praised to you. Confused, you could feel the tears falling down your face, “G..what are you doing here you should be in Munich why have you come here” you quickly questioned her. “shhh Meine Liebe i’ll explain it to you all about it later” she quickly shushed you as she came closer grabbing your hips and softly kissing your lips. You missed her touch dearly and you felt a sense of comfort and warmth the minute she touched your bare skin seeing as you stood there with a nike sports bra and some shorts.

the elevator
sydney lohmann x reader
summary: you aren't sure if your older sister's friend is interested in you
going on trips with your older sister is your favorite.
so when your sister texted you about going to ibiza, you were pumped.
however, she warned you that a few of her friends wanted to come along.
at first, you were annoyed. you valued one on one time with the best friend you share blood with.
she shut your protests down, saying that having more people on the trip means that financial costs would be less.
"we usually don't care about money in the trips we had before, why now?" you ask, sitting on the couch beside your sister as she clicks on her macbook-- searching for an itinerary to have for ibiza.
"I don't care, they really wanted to come and I'd feel bad for saying no." your sister sighs.
you rolled your eyes as you stood up from the couch, the older girl can be a pushover sometimes.
"don't leave, its just sydney and my girlfriend laura!" your sister pleaded.
your walking body suddenly stopped at the first name. you turned around to look at your sister with a smirk before jogging to join her on the couch.
when your sister started dating your frankfurt teammate, laura freigang, you were on the moon.
at a birthday party thrown for laura last year, you met sydney lohmann from bayern. you've had a crush on her ever since.
you've never made a bold move on the blonde, afraid that she wasn't interested in you. you had your reasons why to believe that.
three months prior, laura thrown a huge dinner for all of her friends and family too attend. at some point, you tried to talk to sydney but she didn't seem interested.
you were a little hurt as she didn't bother to make eye-contact with you, so you weren't confident with telling others about your crush on her.
"its just sydney and laura? why didn't you say so!!?" you smiled as you looked over your sister's shoulder to look at her macmook, where the "confirmation" email for the ibiza hotel appeared.
"because laura is your teammate and sydney is someone you knew from your football league-- I thought laura already told you about this." your sister looked at you with a raised eyebrow.
"no she didn't." you frowned, you found it strange since you saw laura at training this morning.
two weeks later, you arrived in the hotel room along with your sister.
sydney and laura were going to be half-an-hour late arriving, so you and your sister had some time to talk.
after you put your luggage by the closet door, you spotted two king sized beds, a big flat-screen, a chair, and the doors that led outside to the balcony.
"so I'm guessing that we will take this bed and laura and sydney will have the other?" you speak, pointing at the bed closest to the balcony door for your sister and you to have.
your sister shook her head and gave you an offended look, a look that made you feel a little stupid.
"no? I'm sharing a bed with my girlfriend. you and sydney can have the other one." your sister says nonchalantly as she flops herself onto the bed closest to the bathroom door.
"wha- wait? y/s/n I can't share a bed with syd?" you say in a scared voice as you pace towards the bed where your sister lays.
"why not?" she smirks as she sits herself up with her arms.
"becau- because?" you thought about what to say.
"be-be-because you have a crush!!" your sister mocked you, before teasing you as she throws her body to tackle yours onto the bed.
"get off of me! I've never said that." you push your sister's torso as you adjusted your linen button-up that got wrinkled from your sister's action.
"you never did-- but laura thinks its pretty obvious." your sister laughs.
your eyes widened as it felt like your heart dropped to your stomach.
"LAURA? wait you guys have talked about this? oh nooo! laura can't know about this, what if she tells sydney?" you jump up from the bed in a panic.
"WOAH!!! so you do have a crush on syd!!" your sister laughed again.
"that's--- y/s/n-- laura can't know about this situation because what if she tells sydney? she's going to think I am a creep!" you sit back down on the bed and place your head in your hands.
your sister gives you a look of sympathy before rubbing your back.
"she's not telling sydney, and even if she did-- sydney wouldn't find you creepy" your sister softly speaks.
"okay." is all you say, standing up to go outside to the balcony.
you were overwhelmed by the entire situation, and the idea of sharing a bed with your crush who wasn't interested in you.
hours later at night, everyone was having fun at the festivals in ibiza.
unfortunately, your motion sickness from the plane ride caught up to you. you let the three girls spend the first night having fun as you watched netflix back in the hotel room.
you made sure to take medicine and rest, determined to spend the next week in ibiza with fun and excitement in the morning.
feeling thirsty, you slowly got out of the bed and walked over to the mini fridge.
not feeling dizzy for the first time since this morning, you sighed in relief-- before groaning at the empty mini fridge.
luckily, the hotel had a huge lounge and bar area. so, you threw on a blue linen button up overtop your white tank top before heading down to the lower floors.
as you were outside in the hallway, you clicked on the button that would take you on the lower floors. there were three elevators, so you looked up at the signs to see that the second one was on its way down to your floor after coming from above.
the door opened and you stepped inside, went down to the bar to grab a few water bottles, and headed back upstairs.
when you clicked on the elevator button to go up, it took a few seconds before the door opened.
you step inside and your eyes widened to the sight of your sister's friend, and your crush-- sydney.
"hey." you smile.
"hi." sydney responded, giving you a light smirk.
you were going to click on the button that took you to your floor, but it glows since sydney already pressed it moments earlier when she arrived.
"its nice to see that you''re doing okay." Sydney speaks up.
this caught you by surprise, you didn't think the bayern midfielder wanted to do anything with you-- the frankfurt goalkeeper.
"yeah. I think I just needed to lay down after all of the traveling and bumpy car rides." you said, looking over at the blonde who is smiling at you.
"I thought you were trying to get out of being your sister's caretaker. you know how she can be--" sydney says, you laugh at that joke.
your sister is a lightweight who can get rowdy after a few shots, which leaves you-- or laura-- to follow her around to make sure she doesn't do anything crazy.
"maybe I did." you joked.
you looked up at the screen on the elevator to see that you're 20 floors away from being on your floor. the hotel was very high.
"y/n, can I ask you something?" sydney asks.
your heart starts beating rapidly as she looks at you with a curious expression.
nodding your head, sydney waits a few seconds to speak as she goes to stand closer to you-- your back pressed against the elevator wall as she gives you no space in front of her.
"do you have a crush on me?" she whispers.
the way she asked that question made your breath get caught inside of your throat. the blonde had that effect on you.
"uh-" is all you could say as the older woman wraps her arms around your waist. her face wasn't close to yours, but your torsos were now touching.
you could die happy in that position.
"I've seen the way you were looking at me on the pitch when we played against each other in march. I've overheard laura and y/s/n talk about your interest in me as well--" sydney speaks.
you made a mental note to confront your sister and laura about that later, if things didn't go well here.
"I like you too-- you know?" sydney ends off her speech, giving you a kiss on the fore head as you close your eyes-- processing that this moment is really happening.
"you do?" you open your eyes and look at the bayern star.
sydney knits her eyebrows together, "yes I do?"
"oh-- I believed that you didn't because when I tried to talk to you at laura's dinner a few months back-- you basically brushed me off." you mumbled.
the guilty look in sydney's eyes appeared and she frowned.
"shit I'm sorry! that dinner happened after bayern got knocked out of the champions league the night before. I didn't want to talk to anyone at that time but laura forced me to still go to that dinner. it took me a week to get over that loss." sydney took her left hand and brushed a piece of your hair to place behind your ear.
you smiled in relief.
"oh, well that makes sense." you respond.
"can I kiss you?" the girl who's 2 years your senior asks.
"you don't have to ask liebe." you answer, tilting your head as her soft lips made contact with yours.
the sound of the elevator door opening could've cut you guys off, but you guys continued to kiss and ignored it as the door closed again-- missing the chance to get off on your floor.

Interview with Leon about the national team and Bayern part 2
By sport1
Was the lack of cohesion also the problem at the Qatar World Cup?
We only had seven days of preparation before the World Cup. To develop such a spirit in such a short time is extremely difficult. Regardless of that, we've had another challenge for years: I think you, as a fan, just know: this is my team. That's the left winger, he's marching up and down and hitting crosses. That's the striker who scores goals for us. We are still looking for the best team and the best formation. We are currently in this process, to be honest.
Do team afternoons like Tuesday, when you and your colleagues went bowling, help you grow together as a unit?
The evening was great! We usually go out to eat together. Then we do the same as at the hotel. This time we play against each other in different teams in various lanes. You laugh together, have fun and get to know the guys even better through those evenings. That was good for us.
It is said that Julian Brandt was the best.
That's right, Jule played the best round, followed closely by Joshua and me. It was a lot of fun. To get back to the question: a team spirit can also develop over the course of a tournament if you have a sense of accomplishment. We barely knew each other at the 2017 Confederations Cup, but over the course of the tournament we became a real unit. It's clear that you grow together faster with a sense of achievement. Then the automatisms kick in, you get a run....
After the World Cup in Qatar, Joshua Kimmich confessed to us very honestly that he was afraid of falling into a mental hole and that he worries that he personally, and therefore his generation, will forever be associated with failure.
I know exactly what Jo meant by that. Before our generation, teams always reached the semifinals of the World Cup. So far we haven't managed to bring our qualities to the field in a tournament. That is extremely frustrating. The early exit from the World Cup was definitely the most difficult stage of my career.
Compared to the 2018 World Cup, I had a different role. As one of the leading players, I had completely different expectations of myself and the tournament. I can only thank those around me, my family and friends for supporting me so well during this time.
In a year's time, on June 14, the opening match of the European Championship will kick off in your own country. How can you ensure the important spirit of optimism?
The easiest way to do that is through convincing games and convincing victories. And we need that badly. What really frustrated me in Bremen is the fact that the fans wanted it! They were there and ready to make a lot of noise. But again we didn't get the spark to jump out at them.
When we did 2:3 and 3:3, I said to myself: How amazing it is when flags are flying everywhere! When you have a whole country behind you, it must be a unique feeling. We all want to experience that in the summer of 2024. But for that we have to do our part.
Society is more divided than it has been for decades. Politically we are experiencing a shift to the right - is the national team also suffering because people can't or won't identify with Germany and the team at the moment?
Good question! A positive person would say: We, the selection, can be the common denominator of all. This is also my desired scenario. It has always been like this: soccer brings people together and can bring different opinions back together, or at least put them in dialogue. You're happy about something together and still have lively discussions. Without burdening the players and the team too much, I am convinced that soccer has the power to give our country a positive boost again! Euro 2024 can come at the right time!
What are your memories of the last home tournament, the 2006 World Cup?
I was eleven years old at the time. I didn't have a jersey. But I immediately think back to the team spirit ball, which was available as a mini version in the menu at McDonald's at the time, and I dribbled around with it for the whole four weeks. I also think of all the flags on the cars. The World Cup and the national team were the talk of the town - all over the country. They were electrifying weeks. I really want to experience that as a player!
Is Hansi Flick the right trainer for this?
Yes, definitely. Thanks to the successful time at Bayern, I have a different image of him than maybe some players who only know him from the national team. I know what Hansi is capable of. I trust him 100 percent that he will coach us to a successful European championship.
Our SPORT1 expert Mario Basler harshly criticized his teammate Joshua Kimmich on the double pass and put forward the thesis that you suffer with Kimmich. "The bad thing is that he wants to do everything," Basler said. And: "Whoever plays next to him in midfield is the poorest, because he just runs back and forth." They even "trashed" him with that. How do you see it?
I am not a fan of these polarizing statements. In fact, Jo has always backed me in recent years. The situation has even changed a bit recently due to the change of position. I am 100 percent convinced of Joshua's qualities. As a player and even more as a person. I appreciate him very much, as a friend and as a teammate. It's a privilege to play with him for our country and at FC Bayern.
We have noticed these days that you have a special handshake. You grab your forearms with your hands. Tell us what it is?
I don't know if I can disclose that. I'd have to get Jo's permission first ( laughs ). But it's been our check for years. That's how we always salute. It's about a movie, I can tell you that much. It shouldn't be boring for you, as a reporter you have to do some research.
On Tuesday you will return to Gelsenkirchen with the test match against Colombia. What memories do you have of your time in S04?
I spent five very emotional and successful years there. Today I would be very satisfied with the placements at that time. In January 2018 my transfer was announced and I had to go through a steel bath with the fans. But I understood the pain of the fans. We finished runners-up and thanks to the success there was a happy turnaround. I received a standing ovation in the stadium. That completed the story at Schalke. It was a good moment.
Schalke relegated, your other former club, VfL Bochum, stayed. Mixed feelings for you?
Absolutely. It hurts a lot. As happy as I was for VfL, I also think there are hardly any football fans in Germany who want Schalke relegated. I even know Dortmund fans who wanted Schalke there. 04 belongs in the 1.Liga, no question!
I still have a lot of contact with players and staff and I can really appreciate what that means to the people at the club. You wouldn't wish relegation on anyone, especially the club you played for five years.
Do you still wear a blue and white band on your right wrist because of your connection to Schalke?
It's getting pretty personal today ( laughs ). But that's okay. I'll just reveal one thing: the blue ribbon is Sead Kolašinac's. We gave it to each other when he left. We are still in regular contact.
Can you imagine returning to the Ruhr area at some point?
Everyone knows that I am very connected to the Ruhr area just for family reasons. That's no secret. Schalke is a big club, just like Bochum. But that's not a problem for the next few years.
Karim Benzema moves to Saudi Arabia and earns more than 200 million euros. How do you feel about the trend of more and more experienced players going to the desert?
I read that you always wanted to play there ( smiles ). What can I say? The financial resources are huge in Arab countries. They are entitled to the fact that some players are dragging their feet in the autumn of their careers. Personally, I can absolutely rule it out. I would clearly prefer Bochum or Schalke.

Find my way back to you ~ Müllendowski
"What!?" he wasn't beliving what his hears were hearing, what have the management thought? He looked at him questioningly and if he wasn't so angry he would have felt slightly scared under the ice look of his best friend who, with his usual calm, answered: "You've heard perfectly Thomas: the coach has decided that, to develop healthy bonds of rivalry with other teams, we are going to stay in the same hotel as Barça till the end of our little trip here in Portugal. I can't understand, why are you so upset?". Müller took his time to answer him, it seems to him a too private thing , even to speak about it with Manu, a friend that always supported him since when they know each other. He was just deciding in his mind if tell him or not when Sané came in, grabbed Thomas by the shoulders and, smiling ambiguously, gave his opinion while laughing: "But how Thommy? I was ready to bet 20€ that you'd be the happiest man ever all the day. Don't you go running around, stressing the entire staff to share the room with your dear Lewangoalski once again? You're so sad since he left to Barça..."; the person directly concerned gave the newcomer an unexpected grim look, detached himself from his arms and turning abruptly towards him replied with empty, controlled words, whitout any joyful emotion that he used to show: "What I do or think is none of your business Leroy. And don't call me Thommy, do not even try.".
The always happy and prankster midfielder went to practice without paying them more than a glance and Manu wondered what had happened, what he didn't notice, that had made Thomas like this. Sané had an incredulous face: "Wha-What did I do? Has he a day off? Whatever, by lunch he'll have already forgotten...", Neuer really hoped it was true...
The afternoon, however, did not improve things, in fact it made them worse.
Thomas was really tired, the trainings for the Champions League had exhausted him, but they had also had the advantage of making him forget what had happened in the morning; everyone was already having lunch together and he couldn't wait to have some fun and eat something so he walked towards the large, well-laid common room of the hotel. His happiness was obviously short-lived: after crossing the long white path that separated him from the food, he reached his team's table, noticing however that it seemed to lean towards the centre. All of his team-mates seemed to be having a happy conversation with a single person, the person he wanted to avoid, the one he hadn't forgiven yet… yes, at the Bayern table was sitting Robert Lewandowski.
As soon as the Pole saw the German approaching, he stood up with a big smile and went towards Thomas with open arms: "I missed you!" Robert hugged him, but the midfielder didn't return the hug and if the ex-Bayern striker noticed the lack of warmth shown by his old companion, he didn't say it and continued to talk to him cheerfully: "Come and sit next to me, Thommy! Long time no see!", he tried to bring him closer, but Thomas seemed uncomfortable, both because of Lewy's pressure and because of Manu's steady gaze analyzing the scene; he looked around frantically, suddenly under all that stress he lost the desire to talk and be in company. So he said: "Sorry, but I have to go upstairs, I forgot one thing ... bye!", and left immediately, disappearing from everyone's sight, with the last image before retiring towards the corridor of Lewa's wounded face and Manu's confused and slightly disappointment..
Thomas closed the wooden door of his room with a big bang, he felt like an idiot, a real fool for running away, but he couldn't stand the pressure of being around him, who treated him as if nothing had happened ...he knelt down and covered his ears with the hands, his eyes red with tears, a single sentence anchored in his head, whispered to himself in the darkest moments: "If you really missed me you would never have left..." "Why did you abandon me?".
In the mood he was in he wished he could have stayed in his room all day, in his inner tranquility and "peace", with only the sound of his regrets and the TV playing some random channel that he honestly gave a shit about, but his fragile, regained balance was soon broken like his window by a balloon on the balcony.
The footballer jumped up and went towards the terrace, opened the window... or what was left of it... , leaned against the iron railing and, looking down, yelled at the top of his lungs: "Who did it?! ?", at that moment Leon appeared from the pool below, the owner of the balloon without a residence permit who was illegally staying on his terrace, soaked in water from head to toe, who said to him: "Come on, Müller, come down! unsocial! Otherwise the whole team will come and get you in your room.". Exasperated by his teammates (and with the secret hope of cheering up), the midfielder was forced to put on his blue bathing suit and go down the stairs to the hotel's lush garden which also included a swimming pool and beach volleyball court.
As soon as he arrived he sat on the edge of the pool to tan under the Portuguese sun and smiled happily, finally he was taking a break from all the troubles of the day and the only thing he wanted to do was rela- PLUFF!!!
The poor Thomas was thrown into the pool. It took him a few seconds to realize that he was underwater and to return to the surface so as not to drown, as soon as he opened his eyes (wet like the rest of his body) he was greeted by the small smile of Manuel "The Wall" Neuer who looked at him smugly towering in all the its bulk from the poolside. Thomas yelled "Why??" "You looked depressed" was the reply of his friend who tried in vain not to laugh, "And trying to assassinate me was the only solution to cure my depression??" "Now I wouldn't put it that way, Thomas..." "Shut up Neuer, now you'll pay!" and, taking him, by his arm he pulled the poor Manu into the pool, the last one victim of the consequences of his own prank..
They spent the next ten minutes of their lives attempting to smother each other with big laughs from the dry onlookers. Suddenly, however, with a mighty bomb dive, a third person entered the pool and started spraying the other two, who, without even realizing who he was, began to react to the fire by giving battle. When things settled down, Thomas realized that the person he was having so much fun with just seconds ago was the one he'd left in the dining room half an hour earlier; he didn't want to run away from Robert as previously: he would have been too ashamed to do the same thing again, so this time he would just ignore him. Yes, now he had a plan, clear, easy and he would stick to it. He forced himself to continue playing happily in the pool, albeit in a muted mood compared to him before, but managed to cover it up skillfully thanks to his natural playful personality. At one point, however, Lewy got out of the pool and dried off quickly ("It's so beautiful with wet hair...No Thomas! Don't think about these things, how they even come to your mind...?") then, again with a sunny smile amplified by the hot rays that hit him directly Robert asked the two against whom he previously fought: "Come on let's go for a game of beach football! It's been a while since we've played together as a team." Thomas made a strange face: his plan was already being compromised shortly after the start, but he certainly couldn't not participate. Manuel, on the other hand, seemed happy, but also a little angry: he hated not knowing things and perhaps not being able to fully understand the vicissitudes that undermined the relationship of
Lewy and Thommy got him into trouble. While the shorter one was still brooding about the goalkeeper, the latter spoke: "Okay Rob, in the meantime, go prepare everything and get the ball, we'll dry off for a second and then we'll join you.", the Polish striker gave the thumbs-up to his friend and ran happily towards the small beach in the center of the hotel garden. Even Neuer and Müller, when Robert had gone, came out of the pool and covered themselves with towels, the youngest was about to put his slippers back on again, but even before he could put his foot in, he felt jerked and pulled towards the entrance of the hotel from Manu, who, after carefully looking around, had chosen a secluded and uncrowded spot. Thomas knew that the moment of truth would arrive, he had awaited it with frank resignation and had hoped to delay it as long as possible. The blue eyes of the 1,93m tall colossus pierced him like not even an arrow could. "Now I want to know what's going on...". The shorter one didn't want to answer so he pretended not to understand: "What are you talking about Manu? The Oktoberfest has been over for two months, are you still drunk?", Manuel got offended and showed his mood with a frown: "Don't the play dumb... there's a strong hatred between you and Robert, which has never been there in all his eight years at Bayern.", "Manu, I swear..." began to say Thomas, he didn't want anyone to get in the way, he would have come across as an idiot, "Don't lie to me! I'm just worried about you! I've known you for over nine years and I've never seen you like this.". The vice captain sighed, the time had come to repay his best friend for always being with him from his debut in the national team (and subsequent victory) up to the Club World Cup, yes, he would have given him that truth that for eight years had hidden from everyone.
"Manu I... I love him" the listener's open mouth was a good indicator of his disbelief, but other than that he didn't get upset and signaled him to go on, he continued: "For 8 years I have loved him but I've never been able to confess to him, I was afraid that our relationship would be destroyed... you know it, it was enough for me to close my eyes to know where he was on the pitch, and off the field I always wanted to be with him, without it I felt lost. broken, incomplete.". "So you were terrified that he wouldn't see you and act the same way again if you confessed how you felt." He speculated Manu and Thomas nodded, "How did it happen in the beginning? At first I well remember you hated him, then you basically became Yin and Yang…so what?" "It's a long story um..." "I have time." "Alright! You're right at first I didn't like him, euphemism, I would have gladly thrown him off a balcony, but then, well... I discovered he wasn't as bad as I thought, he wasn't conceited or snooty, but he was kind, protective, almost shy and when he spoke with such a slight Polish accent it seemed to me like..", Manuel made a colossal facepalm: "Lost in love...". The midfielder was very embarrassed: "Yes", but then his face darkened a lot and tears welled up on it, suddenly he no longer had the necessary strength to stand up and, shivering, he sat down on the cold tiled floor, his bare feet caressed the grass that bordered the sidewalk, Manuel, sad for his best friend, sat down next to him and watched his stricken face. "But now he's gone, he's left me here... I didn't even have time to confess, during the last training session I... I tried, I approached him when he was alone, but I didn't I found the words, they were all dying in my mouth and I gave up, I hugged him telling him to have a good trip, how stupid I am..." "No Thomas, of course you were a bit stupid for not telling him but.. ." "Thanks Manu! Really helpful!" "Let me finish! I was saying... can't you tell him now? I can't understand why you don't want to tell him now that you have another chance?!", after his friend's words Thomas stopped: "I-I... don't know... today, as soon as I saw him again he made me feel, strange... I didn't understand how he could still treat me the same way as before, it was like he still loved me, but not the kind of love I wanted It to be.". At that speech Manuel started laughing and the other looked at him offended, the porter gently took his shoulders, smiled and said: "Thommy but do you realize that you're causing yourself a lot of problems when you don't even know if he reciprocates or no?".
Müller's wide-open eyes silently replied to his friend, who squeezed him in a sweet embrace cradled by the smell of the shampoo on Thomas's still wet hair: "Okay, come on, you'll try tonight, but now let's think about having some fun, damn you're really weird in your version hopelessly in love ... come on!" the speech brings back happiness on the tear-stained face of the vice captain who got up and followed his friend towards the beach volleyball court illuminated by the sun and by Lewy's smile when he sees his former partner arrive.
The afternoon passed quickly and the teams stayed out until sunset, after the pink gave way to blue everyone found themselves in the dining room filled with joy and good food. There was no longer the sparkling air of news and curiosities perceived during lunch. It was... different, equally cheerful, but different: it seemed like one of those big family Easter lunches where everyone knows everyone.
Manuel and Thomas were having dinner at a quiet table on the side furthest from the buffet and chatter, where the moonlight filtered through the windows, after all the day's misadventures they just wanted a few minutes of peace and a nice soup. "May I add to your table?" a voice abruptly broke the silence as Fates cut the thread of Life, Thomas looked up even if the only voice was enough for him to recognize Robert, "Sure, come along." he couldn't tell him no, he just hoped he wouldn't talk about how he'd been avoiding him almost the entire day like he was the plague.
Lewandowski smiled and sat next to Müller, the latter had to control himself so as not to visibly melt at that facial movement, he hid his trembling hands in his pockets and checked the butterflies that had inevitably replaced his blood. Then he returned the smile.
Manuel noticed everything and the fire reignited in his calculating eyes, "Uh? What are you saying Leon? Yes, I'll be right there.", Neuer turned to another table, took his dinner and walked towards Goretzka, but Thomas was sure the young boy hadn't spoken. True or not, the two "almost-boyfriends" were left alone.
Silence pervaded the two men and if it hadn't been for the colored lights that illuminated the room Thomas would have sworn he saw a slight blush on Lewy's face who was simply looking at him ... and how he was looking at him. He was still busy contemplating the divine beauty of his former partner that he spoke: "You know, I missed you Thommy so much ... it's not the same without you.". This in Thomas's heart lit a flame fed by a candle that, slowly, strengthened instead of dripping and wasting away with every word Robert said. "I missed you too, you don't know how much..." (“because when you're not here my heart is broken, it's missing and I can't find the piece to rebuild it; I don't want to find it” were the words that he kept inside and didn't the courage to utter.) at that moment Lewandowski put the spoon he was eating with on the napkin and put his hand on the table feeling the carvings of the wood underneath, in the meantime he didn't take his ocean blue eyes off the one next to him and his smile grew.
As if that were destiny Thomas took his hand and shook it crossing his fingers as if they were the textures of a dress, handmade, slowly, but of inestimable value. "I'm really happy that we remained great friends even after all this..." and Rob with those words involuntarily broke the spell, Thomas suddenly withdrew his hand, as if he had been burned by that same candle flame that had perhaps grown to much. Robert gave him an incredulous and covertly guilty look. Müller was about to cry, he couldn't think of anything and at that moment the noise became deafening, but silent as a grave at the same time compared to mess of his brain.
With tears, he left the room, but his eyes saw neither Lewy nor Manuel. “Friends, friends, friends…” was the only word in his mind.
He didn't know how long he stayed like this: sitting on the carpet in his and Manu's room crying for a love that never really started, never really existed ...
One hand was on his hair pulling it, oblivious to the pain that the gesture caused him, the other wandering around the floor following the designs of the fabric with the tip of his index finger, desperately looking for a solution to his scene that everyone could clearly see. even better than the one at lunch: "Of course I can't enjoy even a meal peaceful without coming back here to cry over myself and regret too late." he whispered to no one in particular, too pathetic at the time to be heard even by the walls surrounding him.
Due to an unexpected noise Thomas jumped and looked around frantically, when he saw the door vibrate and the malignant to move slightly wiped his tears with his arm, managed to shuffle with difficulty to the threshold and opened.
"Hey..." Robert's shy voice flooded the room, "L-Lewy... what are you doing here?" nervousness began to creep into Thomas, what was the Pole doing there? Was he upset about things that happened during dinner? Müller was so tired, he wouldn't be able to get the face of a man "not on the verge of a psychological breakdown" for much longer and giving in to the man he loved was certainly last on his "to-do list for the next millennium". "I, well, I wanted to deeply apologize to you for what happened at dinner...", ok, maybe it's true that Thomas in front of Lewy was no longer able to understand anything and totally melted, but here he was absolutely sure he had heard correctly and the sorry frown, clearly visible from the eyes and from the light biting of the lip, of the striker left no room for doubts: Robert was apologizing to him. "W-What should you apologize for?" Thomas just couldn't understand, why was Robert doing this? Lewandowski looked between hysterical, exasperated and sad, only at that moment did the German realize the emotions and exhaustion that his friend felt inside him, he immediately felt sorry for him, even if he didn't know the reason.
Suddenly the Pole gave a humorless chuckle: "Well, you've been avoiding me since this morning, you never want to be alone with me and always terribly uncomfortable in my presence then... tonight at dinner..." his voice broke down but he continued anyway "I don't know what I said did but you ran upstairs Thommy you had tears in your eyes! Whatever happened I'm sorry I didn't mean to, last thing I want to make you feel bad ... well, now I'm crying too." and Lewy wept, the tears flowing without stopping.
Horrified, Thomas did the first thing that his instinct ordered him and lunged at Robert, hugged him, felt his warmth on his skin and his shoulder half covered by the pajama shirt on the hollow of his neck; the Barça player's eyes snapped open as he put his arms around Thommy.
Müller took the other's head with his hands and, while looking at him with eyes full of tears, he took courage: "Robert I don't hate you, I..." and the memory of what happened next still lives in the German's mind: their lips met each other, finding Paradise.
When they broke the kiss it seems to them to have spent an entire century like this.
Both were crying, they cannot belived their eyes, their lips, their emotions. Suddenly Thomas started to talk and what he said melted Lewy's heart: "I love you, Robert Lewandowski, for eight eternal years, but I didn't know how to tell you, I thought I'd have..." "Ruined everything? Yes, Thomas I can understand... I love...I love you too." and they kissed again, nobody can believe it and for them it was like living a beautiful, never ending dream.
It was when Thomas, very tired, literally collapsed on Lewy's face that the two woke up, the Pole smiled and, gently, took him like a bride and carried him to Manu's bed (hoping that the goalkeeper wouldn't get angry, even if he strongly doubted it having understood that he was behind the confession of his new boyfriend, one day he would have thanked him properly...). So Robert moved the bed near to his mate's one making some sort of king size.
He tucked Thomas in and slipped under the bed too, embracing him, looked at him with infinite joy and love, gave him a light kiss on the forehead, pushing aside his dark hair and whispered: "Kocham cię, Thommy" , Lewandowski was about to close his eyes when he was pulled closer by a gentle push and a soft: "Ich liebe dich, Lewy.".
When Manu entered in and found them sleeping like this he smiled and turned off the lights, then he came off and closed the door. Then he went to another room: surely Leon and Joshua would have hosted happily him for a night or two.
