How to Make Domino’s Garlic Bread - Flavours by Kiran
Tumblr media
A copycat version of Dominos Stuffed Garlic Bread, this recipe is a homemade version of the creamy, garlic flavored bread which is a copycat of Dominos Stuffed Garlic Bread. Dominos Pizza was our favorite pizza place when we lived in Indore. Our family went almost weekly. Garlic bread stuffed with cheese, pizza, and lava cake were our favorites. We searched the Dominos menu for stuffed garlic bread after I moved to the Canada. However, it was not available. This prompted me to make it at home. Below is a recipe that I found on
flavoursbykiran
. I still remember the joy on my husband's face when I made this dish one day.In addition to this dish being memorable, this recipe was the reason I started blogging. I also filmed my first YouTube cooking video using this recipe. In this recipe, I demonstrate how to make Domino's-style garlic bread stuffed with cheesy cheese. You can make only the garlic breadsticks available at Dominos by following the same steps, but omitting the sweet corn and mayonnaise. How to Make Cheesy Garlic Bread Like Domino's with Garlic DoughIn a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and active dry yeast. Combine thoroughly. Place in a warm place for 10 minutes. This activates the yeast. You'll see tiny bubbles after 10 minutes. You can also add oil, butter, maida, and salt at this point. Add the minced garlic, oregano, and red chili flakes. Activate the gluten in the dough by kneading it well for at least 10 minutes. When the dough is too tight, add 1-2 tablespoons more water. Garlic bread will become hard and chewy if the dough is not smooth and stretchy.Give it time to prove. Brush the dough and the bowl with oil. Put it in a warm place for 2 hours, covered with a tea towel or cling wrap. To make garlic butter, follow this recipe. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and fresh parsley or coriander leaves. Prepare garlic bread according to recipe.Punch the dough after it has doubled in size after 1 hour. My next step was to proof (raise) the dough in my Instant Pot.On a flat surface (for the crunchy outer coating), sprinkle lots of cornmeal (also known as "makki ka atta" in Hindi). Cut out a circle. On the baking tray, spread some butter or parchment paper. Then, place the dough circle on the tray and spread the garlic butter generously over the dough. On one half of the circle, spread some mayonnaise, top with boiled sweet corn, and add mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle chili flakes and oregano on top.Make a semicircle out of the dough and seal the edges properly, or the cheese will leak out. On top, brush some garlic butter and chili flakes along with some oregano seasoning.Remove the crusts of the garlic bread and slice it into breadsticks. You can bake the scones at 180 degrees celsius (365 °F) for 20-25 minutes or until they are nicely golden brown.Make breadsticks from the stuffed garlic bread when it is hot. Dip them in mayonnaise or cream cheese or serve them with garlic sauce.Suggestion to ServePut ketchup or mayonnaise on the stuffed garlic bread. Sodas or soft drinks pair well with this dish. Best way to make stuffed garlic bread with cheesy filling.
When mixing yeast and milk, remember to add sugar. Yeast fermentation can not start without sugar.
If you don't have warm milk, you can use warm water instead. Lukewarm milk is fine. If it is too hot, the yeast will die. The yeast will not be activated if the temperature is too low.
Dominos' garlic bread crust is crispy by adding cornmeal, a secret ingredient.
For example, proofing dough (raising on the countertop) takes two hours. However, an Instant Pot only needs one hour.
Bake 10 minutes before preheat the oven.
The combination of mozzarella and cheddar cheese is perfectly acceptable in this recipe. Either instant or active dry yeast can be used.
Activated dry yeast can be used or instant yeast. With instant yeast, the proofing process is shorter.

We picked our cherry looking olives today. Aren't they beautiful? They are in a jug now ready for stage one of their preserving life, using a recipe from the great @preservingtheitalianway book by Pietro Demaio. I am so happy with our crop, let's hope we will get a good result.⠀ Happy Sunday everyone.⠀ ⠀ #lacucinadisandra#toeatwellisanart#bestcookingclasses#thebest#fabfour#italianfood#foodie#melbourne#richmond#italianregionalfood#melbournefoodexperiences#italian#delicious#photooftheday#foodpic#instafood#amazing#foodlove#cooking#foodporn#cookingclasses#cookingschool#melbournefoodblogger#melbournefoodie#growyourown#olives#olivetree#italian#preserving (at La Cucina di Sandra, Cooking Classes & Food Events)

Our olive tree has fruit the size and color of cherries; it makes me happy just to look at it. It is so beautiful. It must have at least one kilo of fruit. Does anyone know when I should pick them? ⠀ I'd love to try curing them if can bring myself to pick them off the tree!!⠀ ⠀ #lacucinadisandra#toeatwellisanart#bestcookingclasses#thebest#fabfour#italianfood#foodie#melbourne#richmond#italianregionalfood#melbournefoodexperiences#italian#delicious#photooftheday#foodpic#instafood#amazing#foodlove#cooking#foodporn#cookingclasses#cookingschool#melbournefoodblogger#melbournefoodie#growyourown#olives#olivetree#italian#preserving (at La Cucina di Sandra, Cooking Classes & Food Events)

The egg yolk rich pappardelle yesterday, ready to be paired with an amazing lamb ragu' Abruzzo style.⠀ The pappardelle were really hard work, the pasta dough was very hard to work with but worth it in the end. That's what usually happens with hard work!! I was very happy as everyone loved them and the lamb ragu' of course.⠀ ⠀ #lacucinadisandra#toeatwellisanart#bestcookingclasses#thebest#fabfour#italianfood#foodie#melbourne#richmond#italianregionalfood#melbournefoodexperiences#italian#delicious#photooftheday#foodpic#instafood#amazing#foodlove#cooking#foodporn#cookingclasses#cookingschool#pasta#pastalove#pastafresca#melbourneeats#pasqua#easter#celebrate⠀ (at La Cucina di Sandra, Cooking Classes & Food Events)

Getting the squid sautéed first and slow cooked after to finish with my version of “seppie e piselli in bianco”. Should be cuttlefish but squid is a lot easier to use and I could not find cuttlefish at the market, so I am testing and re-testing. New recipe for one of my classes. I am guessing it will work!⠀ ⠀ #lacucinadisandra#toeatwellisanart#bestcookingclasses#thebest#fabfour#italianfood#foodie#melbourne#richmond#italianregionalfood#melbournefoodexperiences#italian#delicious#photooftheday#foodpic#instafood#amazing#foodlove#cooking#foodporn#cookingclasses#cookingschool#melbournefoodblogger#melbournefoodie#melbourneeats#seaffod#pescara#abruzzo#nonna ⠀ ⠀ (at La Cucina di Sandra, Cooking Classes & Food Events)

I may have picked up the last of these beautiful autumn plums at the weekend. On what looks like the very first day of winter I was very glad to be able to bake one last ricotta and plum cake. On days like today baking is just the best thing to do, don't you think? ⠀ So sadly, I bid farewell to the last plums of this season.⠀ ⠀ #lacucinadisandra#toeatwellisanart#bestcookingclasses#thebest#fabfour#italianfood#foodie#melbourne#richmond#italianregionalfood#melbournefoodexperiences#italian#delicious#photooftheday#foodpic#instafood#amazing#foodlove#cooking#foodporn#cookingclasses#cookingschool#melbournefoodblogger#melbournefoodie#foodie#melbourneeats#baked#baking#cake#plums⠀ (at La Cucina di Sandra, Cooking Classes & Food Events)

Couldn't resist buying these black muscat grapes to make this grape harvest cake. If there is something I love baking is olive oil cakes, the ingredients in this cake really appeal to me and I love cakes without butter. So here we have it, just olive oil, rosemary, walnuts, flour, demerara sugar and grapes.⠀ My project for the gorgeous Melbourne afternoon today.⠀ Stay tuned...⠀ ⠀ #lacucinadisandra#toeatwellisanart#bestcookingclasses#thebest#fabfour#italianfood#foodie#melbourne#richmond#italianregionalfood#melbournefoodexperiences#italian#delicious#photooftheday#foodpic#instafood#amazing#foodlove#cooking#foodporn#cookingclasses#cookingschool#melbournefoodblogger#melbournefoodie#foodie#melbourneeats#baked#baking#cake#grapeharvestcake (at La Cucina di Sandra, Cooking Classes & Food Events)
