In OTWF AU, when did Sunny and Basil start liking each other? When did they realise? Would either/both of them be scared to admit it (to themselves or others) at first?

i always thought they were like a He fell first (Basil) He fell harder (Sunny). I interpreted Basil liking him a lot as a kid and those feelings never really went away, whereas with Sunny he thought about it a little bit as a kid, but then the feelings emerged again when he was like 17. Basil is at a point now where he’s not afraid to admit it, but Sunny’s like.. a bit terrified to admit it even though he really loves him, mainly because he’s scared that everything will change once Basil sees Black Space. He’s afraid Basil might think he’s disgusting. He’s also a bit nervous because Basil’s so serious about him. He is too, but he’s like “This is different. He really has grown up..”
