Spiaggia La Pelosa 🏖️

If you are looking for a beach tip in the island. I could not recommed better option than La Pelosa in the northwestern part of Sardegna. There is fine sand and shallow, transparent water all around which I have never seen before this experience.

I didn’t swim into the deep water but I have friends who do scuba diving so they have no fear. So, they swam to the Aragonese watchtower and were jumping to the deep water. (Please don’t do this without people who are certified scuba divers, as some of my friends are).

Except the part when my heart was pounding hard to see my friends jumping, all the beach and resting area was perfect.

Have a good meal, drink some lemon soda 🍋and eat an ice cream.🍨 I can guarantee you, one of the best and most peaceful experience.

Have you ever been here? Do you like swimming? 🏊 Have you tried scuba diving? 🤿

I don't know about a specific story tbh but I would talk for hours about how I love my holidays in sardegna, they're like the best thing that happen to me every year. at this point 2022 it's like the 10th year of me and my family going there, in the same place, visiting the same little cities, going to the same beaches and vibe with that just fine, it's my happy place, I'm so enthusiastic about it

La Dolce Vita

In history class, my professor asked us to talk about the 20th century. I immediately thought: WWI, WWII, and the Cold War. The century that introduced interstate war made up of many state actors. But then she asked well how about 1917 - 2017? By selecting a slightly different time period, there is a new narrative for the 20th century; the rise and fall of US hegemony in the international arena. It goes to show that where you choose to start your story matters. In this little lover note, I want to capture our time together through my lens - trying to reorganize the mental snapshots I took every time you made my heart glow. This is our Rome story starting from the point where those deep feelings start to entrench themselves in MY mind and heart (not yours :P). This story will start on May 1st 2019. May 1st 2019 I remember I needed to use the washroom at the music festival which was held outside of San Giovanni in the Lateran. It was raining, cold, crowded but you voluntarily joined me to the portable washrooms. Since we were surrounded by so many people, you took my hand and walked in front of me. I found it sweet, and caught myself smiling to myself. You always took care of me when I was in Rome and I always felt safe with you.  My late bday celebration  Don’t remember much at the pre, but apparently I was sitting on the ledge of the window while you had your arms either side of me in the kitchen. I remember that night being an absolute mess but since I was with you I had such an amazing time. Literally laughing in a parking lot with your drunk ass, but it was perfect and I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else, or anyone else. You also came back with me to help clean up and I remember us making an excessive amount of noise to fuel my passive aggressive reaction to my overreacting roommates. You also called me the next day to check up on me (I was spiralling with the whole Sylvia issue) and reminded me not to SPIRAL (you still do that <3).  Coming back from Venice I don't know why, but, I have this memory linked to me feeling super excited to see you after coming back from Bologna and Venice. It was when we went to the club (Circolo Maximo?) with my friends and Richard’s friends. I remember running to Kim’s warm embrace and then playing it cool when I greeted you HAHA. But that feeling of wanting to stick around you, the same feeling I had on my birthday, was there again. I think at this point I knew that I had started to redevelop feelings for you...

Exams It was you, me, and the fries with cheese sauce against the world. We could never be productive together. We’d end up laughing or you’d ask me to come over and we’d watching netflix. I remember when the table was full, all of us were studying, but you and I kept messaging dumb shit on whatsapp. We would just look up from our screens and laugh at each other, until Lucie and Kim had to monitor our screens to stop us from distracting each other. That’s also when we started flirting more hardcore, I remember you made a comment about me being dominant, and I was like oh yeah i am ;) and you responded with well I haven't seen that happen in bed yet. I was pretty heated by that first low-key sexting exchange we had. I remember thinking DAMN I can’t leave Rome without us hooking up one more time...  Storytime  I had dinner at your place, we made an AMAZING salad. We had chicken, red onions, chickpeas, THE WORKS. I remember just admiring you cut the red onions, so precisely. What really got me was after the dinner when we started to just talk about the randomest shit. We got onto the topic of your favorite book series and I was curious so I asked you to tell me about it (because I knew I wouldn't read it) - you are such an amazing story teller... you were so engaging and I couldn’t help but being lost in your fantasy world. I remember at the end we laughed and just sat there in silence. You looked up and you were like wow I’m gonna miss this. And I was thinking yea, I’m going to miss you too. I hoped that you would kiss me that night, but I also knew it was a bit of a stretch. I remember you walked me out and I tried to tell you with  my eyes, but it didn’t work HAHA. Great night though.  Eurovision I’m going to skip this because we’ve gone over this over and over. But sitting on that broken couch with you was the best way to enjoy my first eurovision experience. I may have been tipsy but I was very aware of what I wanted. There was no doubt in my mind and no moment that I forgot. Sorry for all the hair fall. Sardegna We were on the beach, waiting for the rest to come back with blankets and booze. It was you and me sitting under the stars and it was beautiful. I remember feeling relaxed because no one was around and I can finally be more affectionate. I just remember leaning on your chest and your arms around me thinking how perfect this moment was. I don't remember what we talked about but time stood still and I remember wishing for this moment to last. Spanish Steps While we were walking pass Villa di Medici, you said “I think I love you” and scared the shit out of me. Couldn’t stop thinking about that the whole night. Terrazza Pincio We decided to do a small picnic as we watched the sunset on Terrazzo Pincio. It was on my list of things to do and what better moment to share with you. I remember we bought brie, a baguette, wine, and fruit? I remember us sneakily drinking the bottle of wine, but we found the most perfect spot facing the sun. We were there quite early and there was someone playing the keyboard. He kept playing the same songs over and over again... but the sun warmed our faces and our hearts. Like how it was in Sardegna, time stood still. We sat in silence just enjoying each other’s presence and the romantic scenery we found ourselves in. It was perfect, our day was magical. Even with nightfall, we went to the Vatican, and i remember leaning on the wooden blockades in front while your arms caged me in from behind. You taught me how to read latin and you taught me how to fall in love in the eternal city.  Outside the gelateria  You cried for me. I’ve been having breakdowns almost everyday before you left, but I said something which triggered your tears. You were so upset, and that’s when I knew that this boy really loved me. I was worried because we discussed just not making anything official when you left, but after that I didn't know if that would be possible. Clearly it wasn't, and we became unilaterally official, but hey best thing that ever happened.

Then you left me for six months. But funny enough our love grew stronger, and getting to know you was just a whole other process of falling in love with you. You staying in Vancouver solidified those feelings and every day has been hard without you here. I already sent you a list of our daily activities in Vancouver but thank you for loving me so beautifully. Happy Valentine’s day baby <3
