I'll be real when I started a book club as a part of our university's queer club I wasn't expecting literally everyone there to be interested pretty much exclusively in lighthearted romance books, ie the exact genre that makes me want to climb onto a pyre and call myself Jeanne d'Arc.
#it's like love and light but what. what is there to discuss about a coffee shop easily digestible romance book. what do you need#to discuss about it. there's nothing. this is empty. it's popcorn. there's very little to discuss about an average slasher movie#and just like that there is very little to discuss about a calm cozy relaxing heartwarming comfy domestic romance#and I'm not pissing on the genre here I'm just still confused and frustrated because i have no idea what to do#because hey. it's torture for me to read. i feel like I'm losing my life with every word. I'd rather be reading about opium#wait that sounds actually interesting. I'd rather be reading about engineering and geometry.#AND for some ungodly reason the members of the book club want to get to know us; the hosts#like no I'm not your friend I'll never be your friend I'd never be your friend i want you 2 meters away from me at all times#it's nothing against them but I have a role. the role is a member of the coordination team.#they have a role too - they are the people using this service. they're members. they're clients; essentially#i provide a service out of my own free will. you could say that i AM a service. you don't get to know your doctor.#you don't become friends with your social worker. you aren't besties with your therapist. im no different#the person i am outside of these events is something completely different than what i am during them.#my personhood ceases to exist the moment an event is held and it revisits my body when i leave the event#and as a person I don't like meeting new people and i don't like getting to know new people and i function the best when i#regularly see like 5 different people and when everyone else is a casual acquaintance only interacted with during group events#like i like our members but they scare me ok? because they want me to be a person and they want to get to know ne#but there's nothing in me and if there was i wouldn't want them to know because i don't want to be a person to them at all#and mainly i just. have no idea what to do because there's no way to make these meetings last more than 10 minutes#because they all want to read. cozy romance. which is my personal horrible no good nightmare and literally the opposite of#the reason for starting the club but hey. I'm not a person and I don't get a say in this.

The gods expect Billy to take sides when they argue.
Billy does NOT in fact, take sides. Billy watches from the sidelines with the biggest bucket of popcorn you can imagine.
He doesn’t have enough money for keeping a streaming service, so this is his entertainment. Gods help anyone who tries to take it away.
The best part is when they fight in his head. Other gods can invite themselves into his divine telepathic group thingie and just shout at each other until they’re too tired to remember what the heck they were talking about.

Toro! Toro!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We're waking up the people down the hall, you're a bull and I can't help but say, "Toro! Toro!"
Pairing: Aoi Todo x f!reader
Rating: Explicit - MINORS DO NOT INTERACT
Word Count: ~3.3k
cw: canon universe, popstar!reader (stage name Luna Lux), all characters are 18+, explicit language, explicit sexual content, smut – cunnilingus, blow job, vaginal fingering, nipple play, spit play, PIV sex – doggy, cowgirl, pet names, dirty talk, multiple orgasms, creampie
Summary: Breaking news! International up-and-coming pop princess Luna Lux is causing quite the stir with her alleged boyfriend! Witnesses say the two were having loud sex well into the night until hotel staff had to take matters into their own hands. But who is this mystery fellow? Despite multiple accounts of being heard doing the deed behind closed doors, the pop star’s supposed boy toy continues to elude being seen by both the media and even her own manager! With his knack for disappearing into thin air, it sounds like this stud is a real sorcerer!
Author's Note: Completely and unabashedly based on the song “Toro” by Remi Wolf. This SCREAMS Aoi Todo to me. This was so much fun to write! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it! Divider credit to the wonderful @/cafekitsune.
Tumblr media
It’s past midnight by the time you and your manager make it back to your hotel room, exhausted from tonight’s rehearsals. With only a protein bar and a few handfuls of popcorn as your dinner, you’re desperate for a proper meal before calling it a day. “Can we please, please order room service?” you beg her, collapsing onto the bed, too tired to change out of your sweaty clothes. “I’m starving and I won’t be able to sleep unless I get some real food in me.”
Kina doesn’t respond, the room phone already up to her ear, ordering the usual. When she hangs up, she snaps at you to get up, crinkling her nose. “You stink.”
“Aw, thanks K. Always the sweetest,” you grin at her, rolling on your stomach to rest your chin on your hands, kicking your feet back and forth in the air.
She rolls her eyes, feigning annoyance as she retrieves one of the bath robes in the closet for you, laying it on the nearest armchair. “After we eat, you should shower then go straight to bed. You need all your rest for tomorrow’s show.”
Manager K is right; it’s the last show and probably the most important. After tomorrow, you can officially say you’ve completed your first tour. It hasn’t been an easy journey; years and years of practicing your craft at malls, local fairs, small stages in front of people who had no clue nor cared who you were. You’re finally here with your best friend slash manager right alongside with you. Not only that, you’ve amassed quite the following of fans who cherish you, so much that they’ve made your debut tour a massive success. You appreciate every single one of them.
However, there is one that you are particularly fond of, and his name is Aoi Todo.
Todo’s been to almost every show since the start of the tour, with the exception to a few he absolutely couldn’t attend due to work obligations. He’s been to all of your meet-and-greets and is the current president of your fan club online. Most of his wardrobe is merchandise with your face on it, always proudly wearing it like a badge of honor. He even keeps a locket with your picture in it, next to a photo of his brother, Yuji, which you surprisingly find very endearing.
It just so happens that he’s also your boyfriend. Your very hot, massively ripped boyfriend.
You met a little over two years ago, when you were opening for your good friend Nobuko Takada, famously known in Japan as Tall-Idol Takada-Chan. At the time, Todo was her biggest fan, so much so that he considered her his future wife. Somehow, someway, he found his new obsession in you. You’d normally tend to avoid fans like this, but Todo is different. He’s the exception. You find his presence comforting. Even when you mess up the lyrics to a song, experience bouts of stage fright, miss a step in your choreography, Todo always gazes at you with the brightest stars in his eyes, as if you’re the most talented, beautiful person he’s ever seen. He loves you with every fiber of his being, whether you’re on stage as Luna Lux the popstar or offstage as you. And you love him right back.
That being said, his prowess in the bedroom is an added bonus. He knows all the ways to help you relax after an especially grueling day of practice and rehearsals. Just like tonight.
You’ve become notorious now for sneaking your boyfriend into your room when you’ve been explicitly told not to, specifically by Kina. It’s not that she dislikes him; in fact, she hasn’t even met him yet. You and Todo decided from the start that your relationship would remain a secret to protect his identity. Being a highly ranked Jujutsu Sorcerer already comes with its own risks and adding an extra spotlight on him will only cause more stress. Besides, it’s quite fun seeing how far you can push against the boundaries until you’re actually caught.
On the other hand, Manager K doesn’t find it fun at all. Her expression is somber, voice stern when she states your real name, talking to you directly and not to your pop persona Luna Lux. That’s when you know she means business. “Do not meet with your boyfriend tonight. Understand?”
You knew this was going to come up. Playing dumb, you respond, “What boyfriend?”
One of her eyes twitch, clearly fed up with your antics. “I’m serious.”
She stares you down until you give in, flipping over on your back and groaning. “Why not?!” you whine, purposefully being an annoying little shit. “You know I perform way better after a good fuck.”
Kina makes a face, disgusted by your vulgarity. “Gross. Seriously, though. There are reporters all over this hotel, on this very floor even. They would have a field day with this.”
“Yeah. If we’re caught,” you add. “Which won’t happen.”
She crosses her arms over her chest, smirking. “You do realize how close you’ve been, right? The two of you have been getting more and more reckless. It’s bound to happen soon.”
You raise a brow at her. “Sounds like you’re hoping for it.”
She eases up, sitting at the edge of the bed beside you. “I’m getting real tired of running around and doing damage control for you two horny freaks. And I’ll admit, I’m curious. What’s so great about this guy that you can’t reveal his identity, even to me?”
You sit up, smiling at her. “Kina, as much as I want to tell you about how amazing he is, I just can’t. Not yet at least. I want to protect him from this craziness for as long as possible. You just have to trust me for now, okay?”
Kina has your best interest at heart, you know that. She wants to make sure that this guy is really worth it, is not some crazed fan only interested in Luna Lux and not the real person behind the popstar. At the same time, she can’t force you to give up his anonymity. She knows better than anybody how insane the other fans will get once he becomes known. So, she has no other choice but to relent. “Fine. But please, for the love of god, can you just keep it in your pants until tomorrow night, after the show is over?”
You give her a sly grin, wrapping your arms around her in a big hug. “Whatever you say, Manager K.” She’s totally unaware that you’ve got both your fingers crossed.
After the two of you scarf down a late dinner, Kina bids you goodnight, warning you once more not to do anything reckless, though you have no intentions of following through with that plan. As soon as she disappears down the hallway into her own room, you lock the door and send out a text to Todo:
The hawk has left the nest.
Setting down your phone on the nightstand, you strip completely out of your sweaty clothes, leaving you stark naked, except for the locket around your neck. You feel it, tracing the edges before unclasping, laying it neatly on the bed. Leaving the robe Kina laid out for you on the armchair, you head straight for the bathroom, door ajar, running the shower on hot.
Even with the loud splash of the shower, you hear the faint Boogie Woogie clap from outside the bathroom, the exact one you’ve been looking forward to all week. Smiling to yourself, you continue to lather soap onto your body, letting the water stream down to rinse off the suds. The creak of the door grabs your attention and through the shower’s glass, you see Todo walk in, wrapped in the robe that barely fits him. When he catches your eye, he smirks and the butterflies in your belly flutter. “Hey there, handsome,” you greet him, your pussy already throbbing with arousal.
“Hi, gorgeous.” He steps towards the shower, stopping to admire you, wet and dripping.
You open the door for him, giving him a better view. “You look good in my hotel robe.”
“Yeah?” He’s practically drooling over your naked form.
Beckoning him in, you reply, “Yeah. But you’d look even better without it.”
He chuckles, slipping out of it, completely naked underneath. You move to one side of the shower, making just enough room for him. Water splashes off his massive chest, down his bulging biceps, dripping off his huge cock sprung hard against his six-pack. God, how you love having this himbo as your boyfriend. He watches silently you as you rub him with the bar of soap, lathering him up, a good reason to get your hands all over him. “How’s my baby doing tonight?” you ask him, spreading the suds across his shoulders.
“Fine. A bit tired from work. Missed you like hell.” His eyes follow your fingers as you graze his nipples. He holds you by the hips, pulling you closer. “How was rehearsals?”
“Exhausting.” You set the bar of soap aside, smiling as your hands travel farther, past his navel. “Luckily, I have a super sexy boyfriend to help me relax.”
You surround his cock, slick and slippery with suds on the shaft. He shudders from your touch, grip tightening on your hips. “Fuck,” he mutters, looking down between you, resting his forehead on yours. “I’m the lucky one. So fucking lucky.”
You tip your head up to meet his lips for a kiss, cupping his balls and stroking his cock. He moans into your mouth, his fingers squeezing at your ass, spreading your cheeks apart. You turn around, teasing his cock between your butt, craning your neck to keep kissing him while he rubs at your clit, water still drizzling over the two of you. So clean and yet so dirty all at once.
He makes you come with his fingers, tapping and massaging your sensitive bud until you’re gushing for him. “You want my cock now, baby?” he asks, mouth hot on your ear, his erection throbbing against you. His other hand plays with your nipples, pinching them with the precise amount of pressure to have you mewling.
As much as you’d love to get fucked in the shower, there’s simply no room for that with Todo’s massive body taking up nearly the entire space. It’s better for the two of you to move this onto the bed. You face him, shutting the shower off, wrapping your arms around his neck. “Let’s do it on the bed. More room for us to get nasty.”
He grins, lifting you up and hoisting you over his shoulder easily. “Got it, boss.”
You giggle, punching his back playfully as he wipes you with a towel. “You’re a brute, you know that?”
When it’s dry, he slaps your ass, staring at it in the mirror as it jiggles from the contact. “You love it.” And he’s right, you do.
He carries you all the way to the bed, tossing you onto the mattress. As soon as you’re spread out for him, he positions himself between your thighs, eating you out sloppily, slipping two fingers in your wet cunt. “Fuck!” you whine, already sensitive from your first orgasm. He doesn’t relent, pumping his digits in and out of you while he flicks his tongue on your swollen bud, sending you into your second climax of the night, body in total bliss now, still greedy for more. “Fuck me, Aoi. Please,” you beg him. “Need your cock.”
“Not yet,” he muffles, sucking hard on your clit, causing you to cry out louder in pleasure. “One more for me, baby. I know you can do it.” He adds a third finger inside you, bucking his hips into the bed, desperate for any type of friction against his rock-hard cock. The sound of his fingers squelching with each pump is obscene. He hums into your skin, the vibrations adding to the sensation, encouraging you to give him another, which you do.
You’re practically a puddle in the sheets now, your entire body slack, ecstasy coursing through you. He can do whatever he wants to you. You’d yield to his every desire, so fucked-out and intoxicated for him. Legs spread even wider, you reach for your pussy, spreading your cum on your clit. “More,” you whimper, touching yourself.
“You’re extra greedy today,” he teases, pulling out of you to suck on his cum-coated fingers. He hawks a frothy wad of spit on your cunt, watching you rub it into your clit.
“It’s been a long day, I deserve it.” You stare at his cock, the tip leaking with precum now. “Can I get a taste, too?”
He obliges enthusiastically, moving up the bed to straddle your face, your favorite way to take his cock. You lick your lips, using your free hand to stroke him, taking his balls in your mouth first. “Fuck,” he curses, gripping onto the headboard.
You smile, enjoying the way he’s unraveling above you. After a little more teasing, you guide the tip into your mouth, sucking on it. He swears again, his eyes shut, the sensation too much for him. You eventually make your way down the rest of his cock, taking him deeper until you’re to the hilt.
“God, you’re so fucking sexy drooling all over my cock like that.” He slowly fucks your mouth, your lips smacked to the base of his dick with each thrust, swallowing him all the way down to the back of your throat. Your eyes water as you resist the gag reflex, too eager to satisfy him like this. When you reach your limit, he pulls out of you, panting softly as you guzzle all the saliva pooling in your mouth. Once you catch your breath, you give him a smile, pressing a gentle kiss to the tip.
“You are such a dirty fucking girl,” he growls, crawling back down to peppers soft kisses along your body. “Sucking my cock while you touch yourself. What a naughty slut you are.” He pauses at your pussy once again, spreading his tongue on your clit for one more taste. You grab onto his hair, not bothering to contain the moans pouring out of your mouth.
“Flip over,” he mumbles, eyes hazy with lust and desire. You can tell by the tremble in his voice that’s he’s trying his best to control himself from going absolutely feral on you, which makes you want to bring it out of him even more.
You obey his command, yelping when drags you to the end of the bed, legs hanging off the edge, feet planted on the soft carpet. His thumb teases your slit, soaked and slippery from all of the previous orgasms. Carefully, he guides himself inside you, gradually making his way until he’s all in. “Fuck,” he purrs, staying still until you’ve fully adjusted to his size. “You feel so fucking good, sweetheart.”
It's like electricity all over your body to finally have him inside you like this, to be so full of him. You twist your neck to get a glimpse of him and when he meets your gaze, he grins. “Tell me what you want, baby.”
You smile back at him, clenching the sheets to brace yourself for the ride. “Fuck me hard.”
Unlike before, he’s rough now, pounding into you like his fucking life depends on it. “Oh god, right there! Right there, fuck!” you encourage him, not bothering to cover your mouth. You’re sure by now the neighbors can hear, but you don’t care. All you care about is Todo and his cock pummeling into you.
Once you come in this position, he slows the pace, increasing the severity of each thrust, fucking you so hard that the bedframe slams against the wall every time he plummets into you. “You love taking it like this, don’t you?”
“Yes!” you cry out, choking on your own spit as it dribbles out your mouth. You hear your phone start ringing on the nightstand; you ignore it, too lost in euphoria to give a damn.
Before you know it, Todo changes positions again, laying himself out on the bed. “Ride me, sweetie. Ride this fucking cock. Fuck me too.”
Desperate to be full of him again, you hop on top of him, teasing your pussy along his shaft before sinking down. He grips your hips firmly, rocking you back and forth on his lap until you’re able to muster the strength to ride him. You swallow thickly, finally able to speak coherently. “You should change your name from Todo to Toro,” you joke, grinding yourself against him.
“Huh? Like fatty tuna?” he asks, sweat dripping off his forehead, his expression genuinely confused.
“Toro is a bull in Spanish,” you explain, grinning at him, gyrating your hips for a deeper angle. “And you, big boy, are most definitely a toro with the way you’re pounding into me.”
He laughs, tightening his grip, wanting to regain control. “It’s fine, you can call me that if you want.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
You lean down to kiss him as he wraps his arms around you, planting his feet on the bed to fuck up into you. The phone keeps ringing beside you, and even through your incessant cries of “Toro! Toro!”, you can hear the buzz of excited chatter on the other side of the door. It’s the reporters Kina warned you about, getting another juicy story for the tabloids.
Todo continues to fuck you like this, his own moans louder now as he approaches his orgasm. The room phone starts to chime too, the staff trying to get a hold of you after noise complaints, something you’ve gotten used to since being with your incredibly sexy and voracious boyfriend. Still, no matter how hard they try to catch you in the act, they never will. And that’s what makes this so much fun.
When he comes, you kiss him sloppily, clenching around his cock to keep his load inside you. You hear a familiar voice amidst the chaos on the other side of the door. Manager K shouts, “Luna Lux! Open the door. Now!”
Todo looks spent below you, in complete bliss, unfazed by the ratchet going on outside. “I should probably leave, huh?”
“I guess you should,” you pout, nuzzling your nose to his. “I miss you already.”
“I miss you too. I’ll see you again in a few minutes,” he reassures you, caressing your cheek tenderly. “When the coast is clear.”
There’s pounding on the door, upper management getting involved to give you a stern talking to. “You better hurry back.” You lean closer, grazing his ear with your lips. “I want you to fuck more of your cum inside me.”
He sucks in a breath, squeezing your ass cheeks with his big hands. “Fuck, baby. I promise I won’t make you wait long. Keep it in until then, okay?”
You kiss each other passionately one last time before he claps behind your back. Like magic, he’s gone, the shiny locket replacing him on the bed.
The door opens, getting caught on the chain, your manager yelling your name through the tiny crack. “I know he’s in there! There’s no escape! I finally caught you two!”
You put on the locket then quickly slide into a robe, checking your reflection briskly in the mirror. Not that there’s anything that can reverse the damage done at this point. Reluctantly, you go to the door to unlock the chain. Kina barges in, staving off all the reporters and staff from bombarding you with questions. She searches the room for Todo, checking each nook and cranny for any sign of him, but no luck. Finally, she faces you, expression awe-struck. “Where is…how did he…?”
“I told you.” You flash her an innocent smile, crossing your legs and fiddling with the locket around your neck, fondly thinking about Todo who’s just two floors below you. “You just have to trust me.”

FLUFFTOBER 2024 - 10.26 rafe cameron
Tumblr media
spooky movie night!
flufftober masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
you cuddle up close to rafe, sprawling the thin orange blanket over the two of you. he wraps and arm around your waist and brings you closer to his body, before reaching for the remote and playing start on your first movie of the night.
you set up an air mattress in the living room, as the couch was too small to hold the both of you, and you wanted to get an equal view of the tv screen. you weren’t a fan of horror movies, but being with rafe made them more bearable.
he’d insisted the night would kick off with scream, stating that its a classic, and you tried your best to not hide under the covers, knowing rafe would tease the hell out of you.
you gasped at one particular jumpscare, and he held you closer, kissing your shoulder. unfortunately you were a bit shaken up after that.
to distract yourself, you sat up, making your way to the actual couch, grabbing the bowl of uneaten popcorn and holding it to your lap, staring at it. you hear some shuffling, and you look to see rafe staring at you with teasing eyes. “scared?” you frantically shake your head, “no, I wanted a snack,” you shrug, shoving a piece of popcorn in your mouth, “you’re lying, I haven’t heard any chewing coming from there,” you let out a breath, lips forming into a pout.
“come here,” he shoves the blanket away, opening his arms for you to come back down to the mattress. you hesitate, slowly putting the popcorn bowl back on the coffee table, and crawling onto the “bed.” he wraps his arms around you again, tighter this time, and he whispers in your ear, “if ghostface was ever real, he wouldn’t be able to get past me,” you lightly scoff at his playfulness, holding onto his arm.
he paused the movie, “okay—we don’t have to watch this, I know how scared you get. here,” he exits outside of the streaming service, putting on coraline instead. you smile as the film began playing, both of you enjoying each other’s company—and coraline’s—for the rest of the evening.

cinematic
Fred Hechinger x afab!reader
Warnings: fluff, awkwardness???
Summary: reader works at the cinema and a really cute blonde man walks in one day
3.5k words
Tumblr media
Tiny pearls of sweat were beginning to run down my forehead, which I quickly wiped away with the sleeve of my work uniform. It hadn't been a busy day at all, but it was hot.
"They still haven't fixed the AC," I mumbled to Nick, my co-worker, who only shrugged his shoulders. He was busy filling up a bucket of popcorn for the customers he was currently serving.
It wasn't even a hot summer day, but it still felt like a sauna behind the counter. All the machines designed to keep the food warm also kept us warm, turning our workspace into a humid, sticky mess.
"Excuse me," someone said behind me. I turned around quickly, ready to put on my best customer service voice, only to freeze mid-sentence. A very pretty blonde man was standing in front of me. He was wearing a blue shirt with the Metro Goldwyn Mayer logo – the one with the Lion – on it. He must have really enjoyed movies. His eyes were a really pretty shade of blue that made it hard for me to focus.
I blinked, trying to shake the daze from my mind. Get it together, I reminded myself.
"Hi, how can I help you?" I asked, forcing a professional smile.
"Hey," he said, smiling. I noticed a small gap between his teeth. "Could you point me to Theater 4?"
The request was simple, but something about the way he asked it made me stumble over my words for a moment. I could feel his gaze lingering, as if he was waiting for me to answer, but all I could think was how familiar his face looked.
"Uh, sure," I said, shaking myself out of the moment. "It's down the hall, to your left. You can't miss it."
"Thanks," he said, smiling at me again. My heart skipped a beat.
He turned to walk away, and I found myself watching him go, that same nagging feeling settling at the back of my mind. Where did I know him from?
"Well that was awkward to watch," Nick's voice startled me, snapping me out of my daze.
I turned to look at him, my heart still fluttering from the interaction. "What do you mean?" I asked, trying to sound casual, though my voice betrayed me with an edge of uncertainty.
Nick gave me an amused look. "You were staring at him like a deer caught in headlights."
I flushed, feeling both embarrassed and annoyed. "I wasn't staring," I muttered, half-defensive, half-embarrassed.
"Uh-huh," Nick said, his grin widening. "So, you don't know who he is?"
I blinked, caught off guard. "What do you mean? Should I?"
Nick's eyebrows shot up. "It's Fred Hechinger, dude. You seriously don't recognize him?"
I stared at Nick, confusion written all over my face. "Fred Hechinger?” The name didn’t ring any bells, and Nick could see my blank expression clearly.
"I thought you were a film nerd," Nick said, raising and eyebrow as I struggled to connect the dots. "His face is on every poster and screen in this building right now."
My gaze instinctively shifted towards the big infor screen advertising the newest movie, Gladiator II. The bold poster featured the man that I had just spoken to, alongside Pedro Pascal and Paul Mescal.
"You really didn't recognize him?" Nick asked.
I felt my cheeks heat up as the realization hit. "I… I mean, I thought he looked familiar, but I wasn't sure," I admitted, flustered. "No wonder I couldn't stop staring. I bet he thinks I'm some weird fan."
My stomach flipped at the thought. I'd been acting like an awkward idiot in front of a pretty well-known actor without even realizing who he was.
Nick smirked. "Well, if you're gonna act like a fan girl, at least do it when I'm not watching."
"Shut up," I muttered, rolling my eyes. I still couldn't shake the feeling that I'd made a total fool of myself. "I didn't know, okay?"
The rest of my shift dragged on in boring monotony after the brief encounter. Nick had already clocked out, leaving me alone behind the counter. With the last movie nearing its end, I began cleaning up, wiping down the counters and restocking the shelves with candy.
The quiet hum of the soda machine and the muffled sound of a movie playing in one of the theaters were my only company. I tried not to think too much about earlier, but Fred's face kept popping into my mind.
I was deep in thought, wiping down the popcorn machine, when the sound of footsteps startled me. I turned around quickly, half expecting it to be my manager reminding me to lock up. Instead, it was him.
He looked slightly sheepish but undeniably charming, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his coat. "Hey," he said, his voice soft and a little hesitant.
"Oh," I stammered, caught completely off guard. "Hi. Um… Can I help you with anything?"
He smiled, one of those soft, slightly crooked smiles, and shook his head. "No just... thought I'd come back and... I don't know," he said, his gaze flickering down for a moment, like he was gathering his thoughts. "It's quieter now."
I blinked, caught off guard, then glancing around the empty lobby. "Oh yeah. We're almost closed," I replied, trying to sound casual, "How was the movie."
He ran a hand through his messy blonde hair, and shrugged. "It was good. A little intense, but I like that kind of stuff."
I tilted my head. "So, you're a movie buff?"
"Something like that," he said with a small grin. I looked at the poster on the wall behind him again. He looked nothing like the character in real life, his face was much friendlier, much more approachable. I knew that he was an actor now – thanks to Nick – but I didn't want him to know I knew.
"Have you seen Gladiator II yet? I heard it's a pretty good movie," I said, trying to act cool.
"Yeah," he replied, a slight laugh escaping. "A few times, actually."
"Oh, so you're one of those people who rewatch movies over and over again?" I teased lightly, folding my arms across my chest.
He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "You could say that. It's, uh, kind of a special project to me."
"Special how?" I asked, tilting my head again, genuinely curious.
He hesitated for a second, his grin faltering slightly, before shrugging. "It's the biggest movie I've ever been in."
I blinked at him, momentarily thrown off. I wasn't expecting him to admit it so casually. "Oh. You're... an actor."
"Yeah," he said, his grin turning slightly sheepish.
"That's, um, really cool. I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you earlier. I'm… kind of bad at keeping up with celebrities. I, uh... I'm Y/N, by the way."
"Fred," he said, offering a slightly crooked smile. "Nice to meet you, Y/N. And don't apologize, honestly, it's kind of refreshing. Most of the time, people either freak out or start asking for pictures."
"Guess I missed my chance to fangirl, huh?" I joked, trying to lighten the mood. He chuckled, and for a second I was distracted by how cute he was.
He tilted his head, his smile widening just a bit. "Well, since you missed your chance to fangirl, how about grabbing a drink instead?"
I blinked, not entirely sure I'd heard him right. "Wait… are you serious?"
"Yeah," he said with an easy shrug, though there was a hint of nervousness in his expression. "If you're free after your shift, of course. Unless you have better plans, like, I don't know, reorganizing popcorn buckets or something."
I laughed, shaking my head. "Reorganizing popcorn buckets is a pretty thrilling way to spend an evening, but I think I could make some time."
"Great," he said, his smile widening. "I'll wait."
"Wait, really?" I asked, startled.
"Yeah. Unless you'd rather bail," he teased, leaning back against the counter like he had all the time in the world.
Never in my life had I gotten things done so fast. I wasn't sure if it was the adrenaline of Fred watching me doing my work or excitement of knowing I was going to grab a drink with him – or both – but I managed to close up that cinema in record time.
As I grabbed my bag and headed toward the door, Fred straightened from where he'd been leaning against the counter, hands stuffed casually into his pockets. "Ready?"
I nodded, trying to suppress the nervous fluttering in my stomach. "Yeah. Do you have a place in mind?
He tilted his head, considering. "I passed a bar a couple of streets over on my way here. Looked low-key. How does that sound?"
"Perfect," I said, trying to sound nonchalant.
We stepped outside, and the cool night air was a relief after hours spent in the sauna-like heat of the cinema. The city felt hushed, the kind of quiet you only get after dark, punctuated by the distant sound of cars and the faint hum of streetlamps.
The walk was short, but I couldn't help stealing a few glances at him along the way. Under the soft glow of the streetlights, he looked so different from the posters plastered all over the cinema. Less polished, more real. And when he caught me staring, I felt a blush creep up my neck.
"You know," he said, a teasing edge to his voice, "I think you do recognize me."
I scoffed, looking away to hide my embarrassment. "I already told you I didn't."
"Mm-hmm," he hummed, clearly unconvinced.
"You don't mind hanging out with your local cinema employee, do you?" I joked after a brief pause, trying to ease the tension I felt rising in my chest.
Fred glanced at me, a small smile playing on his lips. "Not at all. You're better company than half the people I've met."
The bar wasn't crowded, which was a relief. The dim lighting and faint buzz of conversation made it feel intimate without being suffocating. Fred held the door open for me, and I thanked him, stepping inside and scanning for a spot to sit.
We slid into a booth near the back, and Fred leaned forward, resting his arms on the table. "What would you like to drink?" He asked, so I scanned the menu quickly.
"I think I'll just go for a beer," I replied to which he nodded and excused himself to go over to the bar and get our drinks.
The faint hum of a jukebox lingered in the background, and the soft glow of fairy lights hanging above gave the place a cozy, low-key vibe.
When he came back with two ice-cold bottles of Heinecken, I thanked him.
"I could've payed myself, you know?" I said, offering him a playful smile.
He waved his hand dismissively, setting the bottle in front of me. "Don't worry about it."
"Is this what you usually do after a movie? Find a random bar and invite strangers?"
Fred smirked, shaking his head. "Nope. This is a first, actually."
"Oh, so I'm special, huh?" I teased, leaning back against the booth.
"Something like that," he replied, his grin widening.
For a moment, we just sat there, sipping our beers, and the comfortable silence felt surprisingly natural. This wasn't something that happened to me, not in real life. Actors didn't stroll back into empty cinemas to chat with nobodies like me. And yet, here he was, smiling across the table like this was the most natural thing in the world.
"So," he said, leaning back against the booth, his gaze settling on me. "You still haven't told me your movie recommendation. What's something you think I have to watch?"
I tilted my head, pretending to think hard. "Hmm… depends. Are you looking for something fun or something that'll emotionally destroy you?"
He chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Emotionally destroy me? Sounds intense."
"Sometimes you just have to sob hysterically over fictional characters," I said, almost laughing at myself for that weird comment.
Fred thought it was funny, though, and laughed, warm and genuine. "Okay, hit me. What's the most devastating one you've got?"
I leaned forward, resting my elbows on the table, and listed off a couple of films, my enthusiasm growing as I talked. He listened intently, his gaze fixed on me, and it was only when I stopped talking that I realized how closely he was watching me.
"What?" I asked, suddenly self-conscious.
"Nothing," he said, a soft smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "You just… really light up when you talk about this stuff. It's nice."
I felt my cheeks heat up and took a sip of my beer to hide my embarrassment. "Well, you are talking to a cinema employee. Movies are kind of my thing."
"And here I thought this was just your day job," he teased, his tone light.
"Well, it is," I said, laughing. "But it doesn't mean I don't love it."
He nodded, taking another sip of his drink. "I get that. It's nice when work doesn't feel like… well, just work."
"Exactly," I said, smiling. "And you? What's the best part of your job?"
Fred hesitated, his expression softening as he thought about it. "I think it's when people connect with something I've done. Like, when they tell me a character or a story meant something to them. That's pretty special."
I nodded, leaning forward slightly. "That makes sense. And I guess playing an emperor probably didn't hurt, huh?"
He laughed, shaking his head. "So, you did recognise me!"
I felt my face getting red and hot immediately. "I'm sorry, I just- I didn't wanna seem like some weird fan. I've probably made it really worse now, though."
Fred's smile softened, and his eyes held mine for a moment longer than I expected. "I think it's cute."
My face burned even more, and I ducked my head, letting out a nervous laugh. "You're just saying that to make me feel better."
"I'm not," he replied, still grinning as he took another sip of his beer. "It's nice. Refreshing, even. You don't get that a lot in this business – people pretending they do't know you."
I groaned, covering my face with my hands. "To be fair, I actually didn't know at first!"
"Which is even better," he teased, his voice warm with amusement. "Honest confusion. It's a rare thing."
I peeked at him through my fingers before lowering my hands with an embarrassed smile. "Well, good. I'll just keep being 'refreshing,' then."
"If you had recognized me, what would you have done? Freaked out? Asked for an autograph?" He asked with a playful grin and I laughed, shaking my head. "No way. I probably just would've stared at you more than I aready did and made it even more awkward. You know, like a real professional."
He laughed too, the sound bright and genuine. "Well, I'm glad you didn't. I like this version of you better."
The way he said it, so casual but sincere, sent a flutter through my chest. I smiled, trying to play it cool. "You don't even know me yet."
He tilted his head, his expression soft. "Then let's change that."
And just like that, I felt the flutter again, stronger this time. I leaned back in my seat, trying to suppress the goofy grin threatening to spread across my face. "Alright, Fred. What do you want to know?"
"Everything," he replied simply, his tone light, but his eyes serious.
For a moment, I just stared at him, caught off guard by his answer, but I couldn't stop myself from smiling. "That’s a tall order."
He shrugged, leaning back with a playful smirk. "We've got time."
And somehow, sitting there in that dimly lit bar with a half-empty beer in my hand and Fred Hechinger watching me like I was the most interesting thing in the room, I believe him. There was something about the way he looked at me – like I wasn't just another face in the crowd – that made me feel seen, and it scared me how much I liked it.
I don't remember how long we sat there, lost in conversation. The bar seemed to dim around us, the hum of other patrons fading into the background until it was just the two of us, trading stories like old friends.
Eventually, the bartender gave us a look that said it was time to go. I glanced at my phone, surprised at how late it had gotten. "I should probably catch the last train," I said, half-apologetic.
Fred stood with me, pulling on his coat. "I'll walk you."
"You don't have to do that," I replied, but he was already waiting by the door.
Outside, the city felt different – quieter, softer, as if the night itself had been holding its breath for us. The walk to the train station wasn't long, but it stretched just enough to let the silence settle between us, comfortable and charged.
When we reached the stairs leading down to the platform, I turned to him. "Well… thanks for tonight. I had fun."
Fred smiled, hands shoved in his pockets. "Me too." And there it was again. The way he looked at me, steady and unassuming, like he wasn't in a rush to let the moment end.
He reached a hand out to my face. I noticed it slightly shaking. He carefully brushed a single strand of hair, I haven't even noticed it was in my eyelashes, out of my face.
"Sorry," he murmured, his voice softer now, almost as if he was afraid to break the quiet between us. His hand lingered for half a second before he pulled it back, tucking it into his pocket again. The corner of his mouth twitched into a sheepish smile, and I wondered if his heart was racing as much as mine.
I swallowed, my heart fluttering at the unexpected closeness. "It's okay."
I tried to find something to say, anything to fill the space, but my mind felt blank—too full of the way his touch had made my breath hitch.
The streetlamp above us cast a warm glow, and in its light, he looked almost unsure.
"I should–"
"I want to see you again," he interrupted, his voice gentle but firm.
My breath caught, and for a moment, all I could do was stare at him. He looked so certain, like it wasn't even a question worth hesitating over.
"I mean… if you'd want to," he added, the confidence faltering just slightly.
I couldn't stop the smile that tugged at my lips. "Yeah," I said softly, my pulse quickening. "I think I'd like that."
Fred's face lit up with a grin, one so genuine it made my stomach flip. "Good."
For a moment, we just stood there, neither of us moving. It felt like the kind of moment you didn't want to break, like holding onto it a little longer might make it last forever.
But the distant rumble of the approaching train reminded me that time didn't wait. I shifted, glancing toward the stairs. "I should probably..."
Fred nodded, his grin softening into something more thoughtful. "Yeah." He hesitated, then added, "Text me when you get home?"
Before I could respond, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a crumpled receipt from the bar we were just in. He smoothed it out awkwardly, then handed it to me. I took it, unfolding the paper to find his number scrawled across it in slightly messy handwriting.
I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest. For some reason, this felt like the sweetest thing anyone had ever done for me. It meant he’d been thinking about giving me his number back at the bar. "I will."
He stepped back just enough to give me space, his hands back in his coat pockets. "Goodnight, Y/N."
"Goodnight, Fred."
I turned and descended the steps, the sound of the train growing louder with each step. At the platform, I glanced back one last time. He was still there at the top of the stairs, silhouetted against the glow of the streetlamp. He raised a hand in a small wave, and I waved back just as the train doors slid open.
As I sank into a seat by the window, the night’s events played over in my head like scenes from a movie, too perfect to feel real. But as the train pulled away, I couldn't stop the smile spreading across my face.

you were sitting in the corner of your bed resting against the wall, reading glasses perched on your nose as you flicked through the pages of a new book, lyric-less music quietly playing from your laptop a few feet away from you, letting yourself get lost in the world of romance fiction.
you loved romance, it always made you feel so happy inside, butterflies erupting through your stomach when the characters would kiss for the first time after a long buildup, wishing it could be your life full of sweet gestures and affectionate words. but for now you’ll live vicariously through your books.
your attention is dragged away from your book when your roommate walks in, giggling with her friend in tow. you put your book down and smile over at them, her smiling in return. “hi,” you greet softly.
“hi, love,” she says back.
sage had been your roommate since freshman year and was the first friend you’d made in college, and now that it was two years later you guys were best friends, always spending time together despite your differing personalities. you had a decent amount of friends now, but it wasn’t as easy for you to make friends as it was for her. she was the biggest social butterfly you’d ever met and she could make anybody comfortable within the first thirty seconds of introducing herself.
it wasn’t that you were necessarily shy, because you really weren’t, you didn’t mind talking to people at all, you just didn’t have the same charm that drew people to you like she did, and that was really fine. you both had a lot of similar friends anyway.
however, this friend that she walked into your dorm with seemed to be a new one, an unfamiliar yet endearing boy walking in behind her with a wide smile on his face.
“hi!” he says after sage, bringing a hand up to wave at you, which you return happily. “i’m nick,” he tells you. his energy was confident, boisterous, and you already felt yourself melting into his charm.
“nick and his brothers are having a movie night down the hall tonight, you wanna come?” sage asks you, setting her bag down on her bed. you turn your attention to her and close your book, keeping your index finger tucked in the top so you know where to put your bookmark later.
“sure,” you smile at her, then look back at nick who’s still grinning at you. “is that okay with you?”
nick raises his eyebrows and waves a hand at you dismissively. “of course! the more the merrier.” he tells you, and there isn’t a hint of mockery in his voice, he’d genuinely enjoy your presence.
“okay, i’ll come,” you agree, nodding your head as you turn back to sage who’s smiling happy at your agreement.
later that night you’re changed into a pair of black leggings and a lavender hoodie with a varsity print across the front, fuzzy white socks sticking out of the tops of your slippers and tucked over your leggings as you walk down the hall with sage to nick’s dorm, a tote bag slung over your shoulders. you guys let yourself in and nick immediately gets up and smiles wide at you both, leading you both into the room.
“hi guys,” he beams. “okay, let me introduce you guys to everyone, bear with me.” you both let out a laugh as you look around the room, seeing a collection of faces that you didn’t recognize staring back at you. “these are my brothers, matt and chris, our childhood best friend nate and his girlfriend olive…” he trails off and introduces a few more people, some names already slipping your mind.
you say hi anyway and walk over to an empty bed, kicking your slippers off before sitting on it sideways, back up against the wall and feet dangling off the side. nick is walking around, handing people bowls of popcorn and talking animatedly before he finally flops down on the floor in front of you, back against the bed and looks through his streaming services for something to put on.
you’re talking to sage, who’s next to you on the bed now, when you feel the mattress dip next to you, catching your attention. you turn your head and smile at the sweet face next to you, taking in a good look at his side profile before he makes eye contact, smiling back. “hey,” he says softly.
“hello,” you reply. “are you matt or chris? sorry i’m not the best with names and it doesn’t help that you look the same.”
matt thankfully laughs at this, a sound that makes your stomach flip. “i’m matt,” he confirms. “what was your name again?”
you retell him your name quietly, as to not disrupt the conversations around you. “but all my friends call me peach.”
matt nods his head as he takes in your words. “peach,” he repeats. “would I be considered a friend or do I have to use your government name?”
you laugh at this, head resting on the wall behind you as you smile at him. “no, you’re my friend now, sorry.”
matt smiles and looks satisfied with that answer. he looks like he’s about to speak when nick’s voice rings through the room again. “is everyone okay with this movie?”
you turn your attention to the tv and see a thriller you’ve seen a couple times, gasping quietly. “this is such a good movie!” you rave.
nick agrees and presses play, the chatter in the room quieting but not coming to a complete stop. matt turns to you and lowers his voice when he speaks again. “I like this movie, too,” he says, smiling after he says it.
you turn to look at him again, eyes widened in excitement. “you do?” you ask him, tucking one of your legs under the other to turn your body towards him slightly.
matt nods. “mhm. seen it a couple times.”
“have you read the book?” you wonder, leaning in a bit closer.
matt can see the delight on your face and he chuckles quietly before shaking his head. “no? why would I read the book when there’s a movie.”
your face drops and you stare at him deadpan, expression blank. “matt,” you scoff. “it’s different. there’s so much more in the books that you don’t get in the movie.”
he smiles, amused at your change in tone. “yeah but all the important stuff is in the movie.” he’s got a teasing lilt to his voice now, wanting to see how distressed you get.
“oh my god,” you mumble, turning back to face the movie. “you should read it, I’ll lend you the book.”
matt shakes his head, turning to the screen as well. “it’ll just collect dust if i’m being honest. i’m not a reader.”
you sigh, unimpressed. “I could read it to you,” you suggest, shrugging your shoulders.
that catches his attention, making him turn his head back towards you. “what? you’d read a whole book to me? one you’ve already read?” his tone makes you giggle quietly, facing him again as well.
“why not? I love reading.” he can tell by your tone that you’d genuinely love to sit around and read him a story, even though you didn’t know anything about each other, just so he could experience the wonders of letting himself get lost in the world of the story. his eyes trail down to your smile, lingering for a moment before they look back into your eyes, his mind all too aware of your knee barely pressed into his own leg.
“i’m a busy guy,” he tells you, taking his attention off of you to look at the tv again. he’s quiet for a beat, making you think that was the end of the conversation and he was uninterested, but just when you’re about to tell him that’s okay, he speaks again. “but i’m sure I could find time for you.”

What do you need to know right now?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
How to choose a pile?
Close your eyes and take a deep breath and ask the angels to show you the right pile for you and open your eyes. The first pile that catches your attention is the right pile for you.
Masterlist
Paid services
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT 🫶🏻💗
Pile 1
Is there something you should not be eating? I see that you use food as an escape or whenever you are sad, you eat something specific; this can be bad for your health, especially if it's popcorn, chocolate, or some kind of processed food. Try to eat mindfully and healthily. Pay attention to what you're consuming. If you want to, you can decorate your room with fairy lights because I see that it will help you a lot. Do not sit in complete darkness. Think of being alone as an opportunity to expand and grow. Don't be upset; you can utilize your time by doing things that will help you in the future. Your time is really precious, and you should not waste it.
Pile 2
Do not rush into conclusions and give your decisions some time. You are being told to wait until winter comes because there is something you are planning to do now, but it will be better to do it in winter. All your hard work is going to pay off, and you need to prepare yourself for the upcoming abundance. For that, you will need to release any mental blocks that you may have and know that you are capable of doing anything you want. There is a new beginning in something; some of you may be starting college this year. Your next chapter is going to be really beautiful. You are going to make a lot of connections and befriend people who actually want the best for you.
Pile 3
Be very honest and clear about what you want to attract in your life. Be really careful of what you wish for because some of you are not really considering what you want. You are being told to step forward without looking back. Let your past go, learn lessons from it, and use it as motivation rather than something to get upset over. Let yourself shine; do not dim your light for others because others want to get their light from you. Do not feel guilty for getting attention. You are meant to do great things in life. Why are you afraid of transformations? In my perspective, transformation is one of the most beautiful things. Yes, the process can be painful, but the result is always beautiful. Write down your wishes on a piece of paper and things you are grateful for on another piece of paper and read them out loud.
Pile 4
You need to go outside and have fun; you won't be a teenager forever. You need to see your current situation with crystal-clear clarity. Realize you're actually living the life you once dreamt of. Sometimes it's actually you who is holding yourself back from getting all the things that you want, and you need to recognize your unhealthy habits that are not helping you. Some of you may resonate with pile 2 or 3 too. You are being told to work on your intuition. Trust yourself, your emotions, and your instincts. Stop ignoring your feelings and start working on them.

i just really want to scream about this movie into the void because it was so well done, and i doubt anyone will really see this but i don't really have anyone i could have a deep discussion about this with.
trigger warning and spoiler warning ahead for the movie blink twice. content ahead discusses themes around sa, including r*pe, drugging, manipulation, and general physical/verbal abuse.
i don't keep up with any previews or recent movie releases much anymore, so i was going into this movie almost completely blind like i do with most new movies anymore. i had seen one preview, but it was apparently plain and simple enough for me to mostly forget about it. the irony in that will be made known a bit later on.
the movie automatically opens with a screen that displays a trigger warning, which is something that i had been seeing for the first time in any kind of visual media. normally these things are already listed by the ratings, but as a sa survivor who had no idea what this movie was going to be, it was a good thing to see so i could brace myself for what was to come. do i think this is necessary for any and every movie of this kind? no, it feels a little redundant (again, these things are typically included in the ratings). and, well, asking me to not watch if it would upset me is kind of a no deal, since i paid for a ticket and popcorn to see this on the big screen.
we're immediately introduced to our two main characters, two best friends, and it's hard to not immediately fall for their relationship with each other. so playful and silly and ridiculous, you can immediately tell they adore each other's company in their shitty job living in their shitty apartment, and you can tell that they're written by a woman who loves these characters and wants to portray them as relatable people. the interactions between the whole cast of girls, i think, was just outstandingly done. they felt realistic, not constantly shitting on each other and fighting for the attention of the men (though some jealousy of that fashion is still portrayed). they were all there enjoying the island and they ended up bonding together wonderfully. they were funny without being over-the-top rude or nasty or promiscuous, as is portrayed commonly in female characters in popular media. i can't and won't stop gushing over how much these characters felt just like real life girls that i was hanging out with.
this movie was really great at putting a pit in your stomach and slowly making it grow. of course, the trigger warning at the beginning spoils what's to come, so for me the pit was there from the start. any sensible person who's been socialized to be a woman will know, you don't ever just run away with some random ass group of men you don't know to the middle of nowhere with no cell service. but the little things that make the main character, frida, stop and question are so subtle, and so easily dismissed to start with. the used lip gloss in the drawer, the available clothes despite being an "unexpected" guest, the weird cleaning staff. but they increasingly get more odd. the island is full of venomous snakes and they all have to be killed on sight. something about these flirty interactions isn't quite right anymore, and he's talking about repressed memories. what day even is it? why am i always waking up with dirt under my nails?
who even knows or cares though, since we're all high and/or drunk 24/7. welcome to paradise!
it builds and builds until it begins to unravel, slowly and then all at once as the girls come to the realization of what happens to them every night when they get unbelievably high after dinner. the bond between the first two to piece it together was outstanding, and i love that there wasn't a cheap "find the phones and call authorities" plan. they worked out why that wouldn't work at all, because who would they believe? the "hysterical bitches" making claims without any kind of solid evidence, or the rich white man who's now a reformed soul and probably good friends with some of the cops?
the ending is not a happy one, in my eyes, though i believe it was probably supposed to be portrayed as one? two girls live and three girls die by the end. the ringmaster (ceo) of the whole thing ends up accidentally taking his own forgetfulness juice and suddenly doesn't understand what's going on and why all his friends are dead or have been otherwise brutalized. he knocks over lit candles and then trips and knocks himself out in his stupor, and the island burns down, the photographic evidence (that was later discovered) and all. i thought it was just going to end there and we would be left with the ambiguous ending, and that's never satisfying and feels very overdone anymore.
but instead, we're given a scene where our main character is now the ceo of the company, and legally married to the man who lured her away and horrifically abused her. twice. i interpreted this as her getting her own form of justice/revenge. i doubt she gives him half the treatment he gave her, but now she controls him and everything he owns and knew, and gets every bit of respect she wants. he killed her best friend and two other girls after overpowering the lot of them every single night. in a perfect world, he'd get tried and punished for his crimes legally. but all the evidence of it ever happening burned to the ground. so this is what she does to cope. in the final scene, she seems very satisfied, more than pleased to make her new husband's old crew squirm. she becomes the thing that destroyed her and so many others (but yk, most likely without the rapist cult).
one character i very suddenly grew interested in was the scrawniest boy in the group. he flies perfectly under the radar and doesn't appear in many of scenes that portray the gruesome sa. the one where he's in clear view, he appears to be another victim, trying to flee from one of the bigger men and receiving a black eye, which he would have no memory of getting the next morning. he's told by one of the girls that he smells nice, most likely referencing the perfume that was making them forget everything. it seemed very clear that he was in a victim role here as well, likely also being sa-ed. but he's never seen bound and gagged with the girls.
his final scene gets interesting when the ceo berates him for doing nothing to help the girls the entire time (yeah, the same ceo millionaire who's been basically orchestrating this whole sick fucking show in his perfect little getaway island). how he thinks there's a special place in hell for people who sit and do nothing in the face of evil. there are two very different ways to interpret this. 1) he wasn't actually getting drugged and abused with the girls, and was there as someone who didn't actively participate in abusing the girls, but also didn't do anything to try to stop it either. this could be blatant commentary on the two types of evil; while "not all men" r*pe and abuse people, not enough men will speak out against it or try to run to the victim's defense. or 2) the ceo was casting blame onto someone who was genuinely confused as to what was happening (which seems to ring true in both scenarios), and someone who was also a victim and stuck in a completely helpless situation. both could hold some level of truth, but ultimately i read him as the latter, thinking he was meant to represent the less common male victim. he gets killed by one of the girls, who wasn't specifically targeting him but also wasn't taking any chances, and that's the last we see of him. in my eyes he could either be read as the kind of evil that merely observes and therefore was rightfully murdered, or he could represent his male victims often get forgotten about or less acknowledged, which could speak as to why he was killed off so quickly never to be discussed again.
and i've gotta say, one thing i really appreciate about the scenes depicting r*pe is that it put a lot of the focus on the r*pists and not their victims. they were careful to not show any nudity or any shots of the women getting r*ped, but still showed them getting forced down when they tried to flee. i have not personally seen any other graphic scenes of this nature in other movies, but from what i hear a lot of it can get rather pornographic, and i feel like that's incredibly distasteful when you're trying to depict something that's absolutely vile. this movie does a great job of getting the absolute terror of the moment across without compromising any of the actresses by posing them seductively or showing off their bodies, and same goes for the men (if you don't count a couple of them being shirtless).
the writing is so wonderful, and the little clues as to what's happening beneath the surface are so good and plentiful. this is a movie that i don't think i'd ever be able to sit through again, but the sense of dread that continued to grow and grow will surely stick with me. it was very darkly funny in many places, which did great to break up some of the tension. for anyone who was able to stomach it, i would highly recommend watching through it once you're able. i think it was outstandingly well done and handled certain things as well as it could without watering any of it down.

"I'm so glad you finally agreed to watch this movie with me!" You exclaim, giddy as you set a giant bowl of popcorn on the coffee table. Settling onto the plush velvet sofa, you rest your back against the armrest and pull your knees up, watching Logan trudge into the room.
"Well, it's only 'cause you kept buggin' me about it," he mumbles. Nonetheless, he plops his thick frame onto the sofa, the weight of his body causing your sock-covered feet to slide under his thigh.
You tense a little, giving him a quick glance before turning to the TV. He doesn't say anything, so you leave your feet under his warmth. Silence falls as you flip through the streaming apps.
"Um," you speak up, trying to cut the one-sided tension. You're pretty sure Logan is unfazed, but you want to be wrong. You mumble to yourself, filling the silence for your own comfort.
The room goes dark as the movie starts, and you try to settle in. Grabbing a giant blanket, you drape it over your legs, the fabric pooling where you touch Logan. You hope he might grab the blanket too, but he doesn't.
You scoff at the embarrassment creeping up your throat and try to focus on the movie. As you open your mouth to comment, Logan cuts you off.
"You don't gotta do that," he grumbles.
Sinking further into your seat, you bring your legs a little closer and grab the popcorn, attempting to pay attention to the screen. It works pretty well until you feel Logan shift beside you, and suddenly all you can think about is him.
You and Logan have been "friends" for about a year now, but have known each other for three. It took you two years to befriend the guy. Granted, your first year at the school was spent interning with Storm, and you were as timid as a mouse, always hiding behind her - especially when Logan came around.
It wasn't until the end of your first year that Storm felt confident enough in your abilities to loosen the lead. She began letting you go on missions with other people. At first, you avoided missions involving Logan; he was still too intense at times, and your self-confidence wasn't as strong as Storm's faith in you. But after a few big missions, you began to grow into yourself, and your confidence skyrocketed.
Missions evolved from involving handfuls of students and professors to solo projects as things got more serious. Then came one particular mission where Charles and the team felt it best that Logan accompany you. You protested right up until you left.
"Y/n," Charles stared at you intently as you stood by the door, Logan's footsteps thudding around the corner. "It's not that we think you aren't capable. We need your full focus on decoding the encrypted system."
"And I can-" You feel yourself getting fussy, as childish as it sounds. Scott grabs you by the shoulders, cutting you off mid-sentence, shocking you.
"Listen, Y/n," he sighs. "As much as you hate it, you're one of us now. The information you're going after is too valuable to risk doing it on your own. We need you to be one hundred percent focused on that, because once Sebastian Shaw realizes we're trying to get into his system, he will rain hellfire on whoever gets in his way. Logan is the only one who can be of service to you right now, so please." His voice softens as he begs. You see the worry sewn into his eyebrows and look at Charles, who is staring right back at you.
You sighed, just as Logan walked up behind Charles.
"Okay," you give a tight smile, and Scott taps his knuckle against your chin, trying to cheer you up. You let out an airy laugh and shove his hand away.
"You'll be fine," he tousles your hair before turning to look at Logan, who's staring intently at you both. Logan doesn't say anything and begins walking out the door.
"Professor," he grumbles as his figure fades into the dark of the night. Charles watches Logan walk off, then turns to you with a smirk on his face.
"Don't worry, everything will work out as it's supposed to." He gives you a wink, leaving you confused about his meaning.
"Uh, alright," you say, giving him a small nod as you head out following Logan.
After that mission, you and Logan became an oddly almost inseparable pair, which you deem as "friendship" even if he doesn't agree. Although you weren't glued to the hip, Logan was almost never far behind, and neither were you. Over the past couple of months, though, your relationship with Logan has evolved into something... complicated. There's an undeniable closeness between you, but it's hard to define. Sometimes, it feels like you're the little sister he never had - he's protective, gruff, and occasionally teases you mercilessly. Other times, there's a crackling tension in the air that makes you wonder if there's something more.
Like the time you were reaching for a book in the library, and Logan came up behind you to help. His chest brushed against your back as he grabbed it, and when you turned, you found yourself trapped between him and the bookshelf. For a moment, neither of you moved, your eyes locked, hearts racing. The air felt charged, and you could've sworn you saw something flicker in his eyes before he stepped back. You whispered a shy "thanks," avoiding eye contact by pretending to wipe dust off the book jacket. Logan straightened up, muttering "No problem, kid," as he walked away.
Or the time you were bantering in the garage while he worked on his bike. What started as playful teasing about him being demanding turned into something more when you challenged his ability to intimidate you anymore. He stood up slowly, moving close until you were almost nose to nose, growling softly, "Wanna bet?" The tension was palpable until Scott's voice broke the moment.
Then there's how you've fallen into these little routines without even realizing. Like how Logan always saves you a seat at briefings, or how you automatically grab two beers when heading to the kitchen after a long day. Or especially when, on every second and fourth Sunday morning of the month, both you and Logan have brunch (that's right) at this one diner that you insisted was to die for. It wasn't until Beast commented on your "domestic routine" that you both seemed to realize how couple-like you'd become.
And who could forget those late-night talks? Like the time you wandered into the kitchen at 2 AM, plagued by mission nightmares, only to find Logan there. What started as a few words of comfort turned into hours of conversation, sharing fears and hopes. As dawn broke, Logan squeezed your hand and said, "You're stronger than you think, kid." The look in his eyes made your heart skip a beat.
Moments like that leave you wondering if there's something more brewing between you and Logan, something beyond the boundaries of friendship or family. But neither of you has been brave enough to cross that line... yet.
You've tried to convince yourself it's nothing more than a close friendship, possibly a mentorship even. But there are moments - fleeting and intense - that make you question everything. You're stuck in this limbo, too afraid to push for more, yet unable to ignore the possibility that there might be something deeper brewing between you and Logan.
A guttural roar rips through the air, startling you out of your focus. Your head snaps towards Logan as another snore cuts through the silence. You don't know whether to laugh or look adoringly at the giant man sitting beside you.
He's sunken deeper into the sofa than when the movie first started. His arms are crossed over his chest, and his head lolls to the side, chin resting uncomfortably on his chest. His arms and head rise and fall with each breath, obviously so far gone at this point. You feel heat creeping up the back of your neck as you watch the usually stone-faced and stoic man sleeping beside you.
He's clad in comfortable clothes: black sweatpants, a zip-up hoodie, and his usual wifebeater clinging to his skin underneath. Your eyes focus on the bare skin that peeks out between the fabric of his sweater and the sleeve of the tank top. His hair is tousled and fluffier than usual, the air conditioning giving you occasional whiffs of peppermint and eucalyptus — his signature shampoo. The scent is never overwhelming, rather a subtle reminder of his presence.
You find yourself studying his face, softer now in sleep than you've ever seen it. The perpetual furrow between his brows has smoothed out, and his lips are slightly parted. Another snore rumbles through him, and you can't help but smile. It's rare to see Logan so unguarded, so... human.
A part of you wants to wake him, to tease him about falling asleep during your favorite movie. But a larger part revels in this moment of vulnerability, this glimpse of Logan that so few get to see. You wonder what he'd do if you gently brushed that stray lock of hair from his forehead, or if you repositioned yourself so you were closer.
The movie plays on, forgotten, as you lose yourself in contemplation of the man beside you. You're hyper-aware of every point where your bodies touch: your leg against his thigh, your arm brushing his as you shift slightly. The warmth of his body seems to seep into yours, and you find yourself leaning closer, drawn in by his presence even in sleep.
It's in quiet moments like these that the line between friendship and something more blurs dangerously. You know you should look away, should focus on the movie, but you can't bring yourself to break this spell. Instead, you allow yourself this stolen moment, committing every detail to memory, all the while wondering if Logan ever has moments like this about you.
All of a sudden, Logan jolts and his head falls back against the headrest, another loud snore coming from his mouth and physically shaking your chest.
Alright, that's enough.
You shift closer to him while grabbing the pillow from behind your back and swing it towards his face. He instinctively grabs your wrist before you can make contact and pulls you in closer. He opens his eyes, staring at you threateningly as if asking "what the hell do you think you're doing," but when he realizes it's you, his gaze softens.
"What," he says, his voice deep with sleep. He unconsciously pulls you closer so your chest barely brushes against his shoulder.
"Get up, you're snoring and I can't hear the movie," you quip, trying not to let your voice falter - as if being this close to him had no effect on you whatsoever. Not like you were paying attention anyway. Logan sighs, lowering your hand from his face but not letting go of your wrist. Instead, he continues to hold it in his hand as he rests it on his stomach. Your hand tenses against the warmth of his body and - god, you hope he didn't feel that.
"Then turn it up louder," he says, closing his eyes and trying to make himself comfortable once again. You don't move. Instead, you... maybe... lean in closer? Logan doesn't notice.
"What, so you can yell at me for waking you up?" You give him a little nudge with your leg. "I don't think so."
Logan's eyes remain closed, but his grip on your wrist loosens, his thumb absently tracing circles on your skin. The gentle touch sends shivers up your arm.
"You woke me up anyway," he murmurs, his voice a low rumble that you feel more than hear.
You try to steady your breathing, very aware of how close you are. "Well, someone had to save you from choking on your own snores."
His lips quirk up in a half-smile. "My hero," he says dryly, finally opening his eyes to look at you.
The intensity of his gaze catches you off guard. There's something there, something beyond his usual gruffness. Your breath hitches as his eyes roam your face, lingering on your lips before meeting your eyes again.
"Logan," you whisper, not sure what you're asking for.
He shifts slightly, turning his body towards you. Your knees dig deeper into his hip and thigh, and he still hasn't let go of your wrist. With his free hand, he reaches up, tucking a stray strand of hair behind your ear. His fingers linger on your cheek, and you instinctively lean into his touch.
"Yeah?" he responds, his voice rough and low.
The air between you feels charged, electric. You're hyper-aware of every point of contact between you - his hand on your face, his fingers around your wrist, your legs pressed together. Your heart is pounding so hard you're sure he can hear it.
Logan leans in, slowly, giving you every opportunity to pull away. But you don't. You can't. You're frozen, caught between anticipation and disbelief. Is this really happening?
Just as his lips are about to brush yours, a loud explosion from the forgotten movie makes you both jump. The spell is broken. Logan pulls back, clearing his throat.
"We should, uh... finish the movie," he says, but he doesn't move away. His arm comes to rest on the back of the couch behind you, not quite touching but close enough that you can feel the heat radiating from him.
You nod, not trusting your voice. As you settle back to watch the film, you're hyper-aware of Logan beside you. The almost-kiss hangs in the air between you, unspoken but impossible to ignore. Every now and then, you catch him looking at you out of the corner of your eye, and you know that something has fundamentally shifted between you.
The movie plays on, but neither of you are really watching anymore. You're too busy wondering what might happen when the credits roll, and secretly hoping that maybe, just maybe, you'll get another chance to finish what you started.

Note
hello! do you have any notes on the second point of view??
Writing Notes: Second Person POV
Second Person Point of View - structured around the “you” pronoun, and is less common in novel-length work.
Example: “You thought you could do it.”
Second person can allow you to draw your reader into the story and make them feel like they’re part of the action because the narrator is speaking directly to them.
Writing in second person for any great length is a challenge, and will stretch your writing skills.
Lorrie Moore is well-known for her innovative use of second person narration in her short story collection Self-Help (1985).
Sometimes referred to as second person POV.
Second-Person Narration is a little-used technique of narrative in which the action is driven by a character ascribed to the reader, one known as you.
The reader is immersed into the narrative as a character involved in the story.
The narrator describes what "you" do and lets you into your own thoughts and background.
The most well-known piece of fiction that employs second-person narration might be Jay McInerney’s novel Bright Lights, Big City.
At the subway station you wait fifteen minutes on the platform for a train. Finally a local, enervated by graffiti, shuffles into the station. You get a seat and hoist a copy of the New York Post. The Post is the most shameful of your several addictions. — Jay McInerney, Bright Lights, Big City, 1984
You will also find second-person narration used in the "Choose Your Own Adventure" style of books popular with younger readers, in which readers determine where the story goes by which page they turn to next. Allowing the reader to "be" the central character in the story provides an immersive reading experience, enhancing what is at stake for the character and reader.
Second-person point of view directly addresses the reader, works well for giving advice or explaining how to do something.
A process analysis paper would be a good choice for using the second-person point of view, as shown in this paragraph:
In order to prepare microwave popcorn, you will need a microwave and a box of microwave popcorn which you’ve purchased at a grocery store. First of all, you need to remove the popcorn package from the box and take off the plastic wrap. Next, open your microwave and place the package in the center with the proper side up. Then set your microwave for the suggested number of minutes as stated on the box. Finally, when the popcorn is popped, you’re ready for a great treat.
While the example above outlines best use of second person, academic writing often avoids second-person point of view in favor of third-person point of view.
Second person can be too casual for formal writing, and it can also alienate the reader if the reader does not identify with the idea.
Second person point of view is often used in:
Nonfiction, like self-help books.
Immersive mediums, like video games.
Advertising slogans, which aim to sell a good or service.
Song lyrics, which connect with the listener by placing him or her directly into the narrative.
Although the second person is a less common choice for fiction writing, when done well, it can give a story a unique and powerful perspective.
Reasons to Write in Second Person POV
Writing in second person point of view has its challenges—mainly, asking the reader to suspend belief to the point where they imagine themselves to be part of the story. However, there are also advantages to using second person point of view. Second person point of view can:
Present an uncommon point of view. Second person is rare in literary fiction. Most novels are written in one of two styles: first person, which involves a narrator who tells their story, (“I ran toward the gate.”), or the third person, which is the author telling a story about a character (“He woke up that morning.”). One of the first popular novels to successfully use the second person was Jay McInerney’s Bright Lights, Big City, which put the reader in the center of a fast-paced, party lifestyle in New York.
Create excitement. Second person takes the reader and puts them in the middle of the action. In the Choose Your Own Adventure books, a popular children’s series, the reader is in the driver’s seat, instructed to make decisions that direct the plot.
Provide an opportunity to reflect. Writing in second person provides authors with the opportunity to reflect. Always a writer to push the limits of storytelling, Margaret Atwood has used second person in several short stories, like Bread. By using “you,” Atwood forces the reader to examine societal inequalities.
Adding humor. Approaching a story with a unique perspective, like a second person point of view, can help add levity. In Lorrie Moore’s short story How To Become a Writer, she uses the second-person narrative voice to try to convince the reader to become an astronaut, or a movie star—anything other than a writer.
Tips For Writing in Second Person
Follow these tips if you’ve settled on writing in the “you”:
Study those who went before you. While stories told in the second person are less common than first and third-person points of view, there are plenty of novels and short stories that can show you how it’s done. Other works worth investigating are Tom Robbins’ Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas and Italo Calvino’s If On a Winter’s Night a Traveler.
Imitate the masters. Take a well-known book written in the first or third person and try writing a page from a second person point of view. Dan Brown wrote his Robert Langdon series— Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code, Inferno, and Origin—in the close third person. Pick an action-packed page and rewrite it as if the reader was Robert Langdon.
Stay conscious of the narrative voice. Second person point of view can be difficult to articulate and it’s easy to slip into writing from your perspective. Be vigilant about always thinking of who the character is and remove yourself from the equation.
Be descriptive. People are used to making observations when reading a book. If you put the responsibility of character or protagonist on the reader, it’s your job to make it credible. Bring them into the world by elaborating on details. Appeal to their senses and emotions with vivid detail to describe the setting, other characters, and events.
Stay present. To ramp up the tension, use the present tense. It brings the reader in even closer and adds to the pacing of the plot. Using present tense and active verbs make it feel like it’s happening in real time. Read The Diver’s Clothes Lie Empty by Vendela Vida, a second person, present-tense story chronicling a woman’s journey through Morocco.
IN ACADEMIC WRITING. Replacing "You":
Sometimes you needs to be replaced with nouns or proper nouns to create more formality to clarify the idea. Here are some examples:
Inappropriate Use of "You" — Revised to Replace "You"
Quality of education decreases when you allow overcrowded classrooms. (Are you, the reader, allowing the conditions?) — Quality of education decreases when state legislators allow overcrowded classrooms. (Identifies who is doing what.)
On Saturday afternoons, you usually have to stand in long lines to buy groceries. (Are you, the reader, shopping in on this day and time?) — Saturday afternoon shoppers usually have to stand in long lines to buy groceries. (Identifies who is doing what.)
In many states, you have prisons with few rehabilitation programs. (Do you, the reader, have prisons?) — In many states, prisons have few rehabilitation programs. (Identifies the actual subject of the sentence.)

Tumblr media
1993. A sleepy suburban town, where nothing exciting ever happens. Friday night.
Your friends were all going out to Wanda’s party, but you were stuck housesitting for your aunt. Your mom had promised you would house sit weeks ago, so you couldn’t get off the hook. It was a big empty house, more rooms than your aunt could ever need. Most were filled up with storage and dust bunnies.
You tried to make the best of the boring night-in. You rented some Meg Ryan movies with plans to completely veg out. You ordered an extra large pizza with all of your favorite toppings and raided your aunts pantry for snacks.
You glanced down at your shirt and saw red. Pizza sauce! Blooming red circle right in the center of your cream sweater. You let out a huff of frustration. Some Friday night.
You changed into comfy nightwear--a baby blue cotton gown that brushed the very top of your knees, along with a pair of fluffy bunny slippers for good measure. You settled back down in front of the TV.
RING. RING. RING.
You picked up the phone, squeezing it between your ear and shoulder as you carried your snacks over to the kitchen.
“Hello,” you used your best fake customer service voice. Your aunt had asked you to take down any messages. She must have a new boyfriend she was hoping would call. You wait for a response but all you can hear is low breaths through the receiver. “Hello?” You try again
“Is this Sidney?” The voice was weirdly distorted and hard to place. It was deep, clearly a man’s voice.
“Sorry, wrong number dude.” You hung up before he could let another word out. You set the phone down by the cradle and go back to making your snacks. You got out the big popcorn bowl.
The phone rang out again. “Hello?” You answered. You really hadn’t expected to be fielding this many phone calls.
“Hey. Did I call you earlier?” It was the same strange voice. You blew some air through your lips, how annoying.
“Sidney’s not here. Have a good night--”
“Aw man. She must have given me a fake number. I don’t mean to bother you over and over tonight.” He sighed, sounding very apologetic.
“No worries. Have a good night.”
“Wait, wait. I like the sound of your voice.”
You paused. Was it totally weird to just chat with this guy? Yeah. But what harm could it be? You felt a bit of a flutter in your stomach. You never had talked to a stranger over the phone like this. It felt clandestine! You decided to go with it.
“Better than Sidney’s?” You asked, trying to make your voice sound as flirty as possible. You heard him hum approval.
“Much better than…let’s not talk about her. What are you doing tonight?” There was something very familiar about his voice. There was a crackle and static that made it so you couldn’t quite make it out. It must be a shitty connection.
“I was having a movie night. I’m making some snacks right now.” You started to curl the phone cord around your finger.
“What are you watching, Pumpkin? Something scary?”
“No way. I hate scary movies.”
“Especially not when you’re alone right?”
“Uh - um - I’m not alone. Actually.” You lied. How did he know you were alone? Was he just guessing?
“Scary movies are always scarier when you’re all alone, in a big empty house, that’s in the middle of nowhere,” he continued.
A shiver went down your spine. That was a bit too accurate. But there's no way he could possibly know where you were. It was a phone call!
“I just don’t like them. It's either some creepy slasher stabbing some big boobed blonde through her white t-shirt or a ghost that's a metaphor for trauma. No thank you,” you sighed.
“I think you’re being a little hard on them. Maybe if you watched them with a guy to cling to you’d like them more. Do you have a boyfriend?”
There it was. Obviously the alone comment was him trying to set the mood.
“Why do you want to know? Already over Sidney?” You teased him.
“Answer the question.” He was very serious. You didn’t like the tone he had.
“Yes, I do. Are you going to hang up?” You lied again, trying to call his bluff.
“You don’t have a boyfriend. What are you wearing? Something cute and virginal? What about your underwear?” You pulled the phone away from your ear in shock. You were officially too skeeved out. This wasn’t some poor guy who got slipped a fake number. He was a weirdo!
“Ok perv, I’m over this. Bye.”
“I wouldn’t hang up Y/N.” His voice was suddenly hostile. He spat each syllable out filled with hatred. Your blood ran cold. Your heart started to race. How would he possibly know your name?
“Is this a prank? Not very funny. Is this you Tony?” Your voice shook with fear.
“Who’s Tony? That your boyfriend?” He snarled.
“This is a really bad joke. Did someone put you up to this? Scott? Knock it off now!”
“Jesus you’ve got a lot of men in your life. Are you trying to make me jealous or something? I don’t like sharing.”
“I’m serious, this is a bad joke, so just give it up already.” You cried out, you looked around, making sure you were still totally alone.
“I don’t give up so easily. Do you, Pumpkin? Do you give it up to any guy who looks in your direction? I bet you do, you slut. That's why you're talking to a guy you don’t know while you’re all alone.”
“I’m hanging up, I already told you I’m not alone. My boyfriend is here! He’s big and he plays football. S-so don’t call back ok?” You tried to sound as forceful as possible but your lips wobbled and you tripped over your words.
“Pumpkin, you’re lying to me. You’re all alone in that big house in the middle of nowhere, wearing that skanky nightgown. I can see your nipples poking through this whole time. You’re so turned on by a psycho on the phone, huh?”
You let out a scream. You slammed the phone down, hanging it up. You started to spin a circle looking at all the windows, trying to see if you could see somebody watching you. You ran to the front door to make sure they were locked. You went window by window locking them and shutting the curtains. You took a chair from the kitchen and dragged it in front of the door, jamming it beneath the door knob.
RING RING RING RING
You looked around, trying to remember where all of the doors were in the house. You spun around running to the kitchen entrance. You double checked the lock and put the chain on the door. You slid down the door with your back pressing against it trying to catch your breath.
This wasn’t real. This had to be some fucked up prank. The guys were all too hyped up for Halloween and wanted to get a scare out of you. The ringing stopped and you heard the voicemail click, your aunt's outgoing message began to play.
“You screening your calls, skank? You’re gonna die, you little whore! I’m gonna see what your insides look like --” You picked up the phone just to end the message and slammed it back down. As you scampered away it fell down, swinging from the cord. You take off up the stairs, stumbling up the stairs.
You dash into the guest room you had been staying in. You quickly locked the door. Your hands were shaking still. How was this happening?
The window started to jiggle. You could hear the groaning old wood start to slide. With nothing better to arm yourself with you grabbed a pillow and started to wildly smack the intruder with all you could.
“Whoa whoa whoa, it’s me -- it’s me!” Bucky Barnes, your classmate, was gripping the window sill, flabbergasted from the pillow. You hadn’t even had time to register who it was before you attacked.
“Bucky? What the fuck are you doing here?” You demanded. This proved to you it had to be some kind of a prank. Why else would Bucky Barnes, the moody guy from your film class be climbing up to your room.
“Well, when you said you were busy tonight I thought I could just surprise you? Like a grand romantic gesture or something? Can you um, let me in? It's actually kind of cold.” He was shivering out there. He looked so earnest it tugged on your heart just a bit.
You motioned for him to come in. He heaved his body up, awkwardly crawling through the tight window then falling to the ground. He sprang back up quickly, smiling at you.
“Is this a prank? Are you in on this with the other guys or something?” You crossed your arms.
“Um, other guys? Are there other guys here? I thought I was being original.” He peered around you as if to look for them. You rolled your eyes.
“The phone calls Bucky. I’m not joking around.”
“What phone calls? I’ve been driving all night to get here from campus, then shimmying up some ivy. Haven’t exactly had any time to stop at a payphone. You know what. This was a bad idea, I can see that, I’ll just leave.” He sheepishly put his hands in his pockets as he crouched down to leave the way he came.
“No, no wait!” You grabbed him, keeping him from going outside. If it wasn’t Bucky then there was still a psycho out there! “I don’t know what's going on, but this weird guy kept calling me, and he was watching me! Like I think he was outside the house or something.”
“Calm down, calm down. I was just outside. There's nobody out there. It was probably just a prank call.”
He started to rub your back with slow soothing circles. It was intimate in a way you weren’t used to from Bucky. He was the quiet one, never really hung out unless Steve was around. His palm pressed into your lower back, holding you closer to him. His other hand cupped the back of your head, guiding you into the crook of his neck.
“You’re getting so worked up. Maybe you should just lie down.” He shushed you as you tried desperately to explain it wasn’t a prank call. He guided the two of you down to the bed. He laid down next to you.
“Bucky…why are you here?”
“I wanted to see you, I thought you knew…isn’t it obvious how I feel about you?”
Your head was spinning. Bucky liked you? He barely even talked to you! When he casually asked if you were going to Wanda’s party you assumed it was just small talk. He had grunted and left the second you told him you were busy.
“I think I should call the cops about this--”
“I’m here aren’t I? I’ll keep you safe.” His lips connected with yours silencing you from responding. His kiss was eager, but still so gentle. He slowly moved his lips against yours, basking in the taste of you. He took his time and slowly you could feel his tongue ghosts against your bottom lip, looking for entrance.
Maybe it was the adrenaline, the shock, or maybe Bucky was just an extremely good kisser, but you quickly fell under the spell of the kiss. You let yourself get lost kissing him, trying to forget the phone call prankster that had been terrorizing you.
Fear was still racking through your body, but Bucky felt safe. You tangled your hands in his hair bringing him closer. His hand slowly traced up and down your leg. Both his hands grasped your legs, essentially pinning you down. You felt a cool air waft over your thighs as his fingers gently crept beneath your nightgown.
He cupped you over your underwear, grabbing the elastic and letting it snap back against your skin. You finally broke free of the kiss to gasp. He sat back on his ankles, his hand still toying with your panties.
“Bucky, I--”
“Shhh it's ok. I’m here to save the day. No one's gonna hurt you while I’m around.” He pushed aside your panties and started to slowly circle your clit. You whined as he circles you again and again, the pleasure rushing through you and pushing every thought of terror out of your brain.
He pressed his thumb against your clit and dipped his fingers inside of you. He curled his fingers, dragging more moans out of you. As he fucked you with his fingers, you tilted your hips up for more delicious friction.
“That's it my brave girl, Bucky’s here for you,” he murmured above you. He spoke with such hard conviction. His eyes were intensely boring into yours, nearly unblinking. He was no longer softly in the throws of passion. He was a man on a mission.
He kept pumping his fingers, he brought his other hand up from your leg to palm himself through his jeans. He groaned as he adjusted himself and went back to work on you. His other hand circling around your inner thigh, moving your leg up to his shoulder.
“Bucky, please, please,” you babbled as the pleasure began to mount and mount. It was nearly unbearable as you chased your release, grinding your hips up and down on his hand, riding his fingers towards that sweet relief.
“Yes, you’re doing so well, you’re perfect.” He brought his lips to your neck and began to suck at your sensitive spot. You let out a cry of pleasure as your climax flowed over you. You clamped your legs together, biting down on your lip as another cry came out.
You took a moment to catch your breath, Bucky was still nibbling on your neck. You grabbed his face and brought his lips back to yours. He eagerly responded, his lips enveloping yours.
You grabbed the underwear that you were still wearing and rolled it down your body to fling them off. You sat up and grabbed at Bucky until you found his belt. You fumbled, trying to unbuckle it. Bucky's hands quickly found yours and he brought them together, kissing both your palms. He unbuckled the belt on his own. Removing it without ceremony or flourish. He then yanked his jeans and underwear down.
“Are you sure about this?” He asked.
“I want you so badly, Bucky,” you moaned.
He let out a strangled gasp that turned to laughter. You tilted your head at the reaction. He didn’t sound exactly happy, it was more sinister.
“I just have waited so long to hear you say that to me. I’m so happy right now,” he nearly giggled. He giddily took off his jacket, tossing it to the ground.
“Keep me distracted Bucky, ok?” You asked as you hitch your nightgown up to your waist.
“Oh yes, anything for you, Pumpkin.” He had a devilish smirk on his face as he pressed his lips to your navel, slowly kissing his way up. He grabbed your nightgown and finished taking it off. Tossed it to the side with the pile of his clothes.
He made his way up your abdomen before groping your chest with a satisfied hiss. He squeezed you roughly, making you squeak. He latched his lips onto your breast. You let out a gasp as he lightly bit down. He tended thoroughly to each breast, his wicked tongue teasing at your pebbled nipples until you were a moaning puddle.
He grasped his cock, stroking it a few times before guiding it to your folds. He brushed the head of his cock up and down your cunt, teasing it out. He pressed his forehead against yours.
“You really mean it, right? You want me?” he asked desperately.
“Yes --” Before another word could escape your lips, he entered you. His whole body shivered. He thrust the tip of his head in, easing in and out until he was fully sheathed inside of you. You moaned as the stretch burned in pleasure and pain.
“Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck,” he moaned, the pace he had set was blistering. You gripped his shoulders to keep yourself anchored as he hammered into you. “You’re so tight, so tight fuuuck me.”
He thrust over and over, using the heel of his hand to keep working at your clit. You scratched your hands down his back as his pumps kept hitting the perfect spot. It was torturous pleasure as he kept working up and down your clit, not giving you a moment of respite.
You came again, your body seizing up as you cried out and then falling limp, boneless back down to the bed. Bucky grabbed your hips, pulling your lower body off the bed as he raced for his own release. The slapping sounds of your bodies filled the room along with his deep, gutural breaths.
“Yes, yes, you’re mine, you’re mine, I finally have you, finally, finally…” he babbled as he slowed his pace as he fucked out his climax.
XXX
You curled next to Bucky in the big fluffy guest bed. Both of you were happily satisfied. All thoughts of strangers on the phone were gone from your head. Now it was filled with what just happened.
Hooking up with Bucky? You’d never considered it before. You weren’t sure why, he was so very cute, you thought as you gazed at his face. His eyes were dreamily staring back at you, that big smile had not left his face yet.
“So if you want to like, hang out, I have snacks and movies. We can go curl up on the couch and just completely let our brains rot.” You traced tiny circles on his chest, feeling pretty confident he’d want to stick around.
“I’d be down for a little romcom night, as long as you’re there.” He affectionately tapped your nose.
“Good because that's all I’ve got!”
The two of you got back into a semblance of your outfits, you pulled your nightgown back on, and Bucky pulled on his boxers and the white undershirt he was wearing. You snagged his jacket and draped it over your shoulders. He hummed his approval and kissed you on the cheek.
You grabbed him by the hand and pulled him along down the stairs.
“You can go grab the popcorn, I’ll put the tapes in.” You directed Bucky towards the kitchen as you made your way towards the living room.
You pass the chairs jammed in front of the doors, and you remember your panic.
You shuddered--what a mean prank to pull. What kind of psycho talks to people like that?
You slipped your arms into Bucky's jacket to wrap yourself in it. It smelled sharp and sweet from his body wash and cologne blending together. You stuck your hands in the pockets, only to feel something heavy and tube shaped. You pulled it out, curious, turning it over in your hands a few times to investigate.
It was a long cylindrical looking microphone. You assumed it was some sort of film equipment, but why would Bucky bring that along?
“Hello?” You spoke into the mic. But instead of your own voice, the same distorted, crackling voice from the phone came out.
You dropped it. It was like a hot iron in your hand.
You realized Bucky must have heard you too. Your head snapped towards the kitchen. He was walking slowly towards you, a huge chef’s knife from the kitchen was now in his hands.
“Bucky what the hell is this?” You asked, slowly backing away from him.
“I…can explain.” His grip on the knife tightened and he raised his hands in the air as if in surender, never slowing his pace towards you.
“No, I think you need to leave.” You covered your body with your arms, trying not to trip over the furniture.
“No, no, no you’re misunderstanding --” He was getting closer to you, he reached his arms out to try and grab you.
“Leave me alone!” You screamed out as you broke into a run. You made a mad dash to the front door. Bucky was close behind you.
“I’m not going to hurt you!” He cried out as you fumbled with all the locks. Your hands were shaking, you tried to remove the chain from the door but it wasn’t moving fast enough.
Bucky's arm wrapped around your waist and yanked your body into his. His hard bulge poked at your ass.
“No!!” you cried out as you started to thrash around. You quickly stilled as the sharp point of the knife began to dig into your throat.
“Let’s calm down ok. I think you’re getting too worked up again.”
“B-Bucky, just say that it’s a prank. This was all a big prank. I won’t tell anyone. Just put the knife down please.” You try desperately to reason with him. He lets out an unamused grunt.
He began to drag you away from the door. You strained your neck as far as you could to keep the pressure from the knife as minimal as possible.
“You weren’t supposed to find out. Now it’s all ruined. Fuck. Fuuuck!” He growled. Clearly enraged he started to grapple you down to the floor.
“Why are you doing this to me?” You whimpered, tears oozing from the corners of your eyes. Rolling down your cheeks in huge streaks.
“You don’t get it. You never noticed me. All I wanted was for you to notice me. I just had to grease the wheels a little bit, put on a show to make you see…that I’m the guy for you.” He looked crazed. He moved the knife from your neck to your cheek. He caressed it against your cheeks like a lover's hand.
“Bucky please…put down the knife.”
“You’re misunderstanding me, you’re trying to run away! That’s why I have the knife because you need to listen to me. You always listen to the guy with the biggest tool in the room huh? You thought I was Tony. Does he call you up at night a lot or something? Huh?!”
You were just whimpering as he ranted above you. The blunt side of the knife was pressed against your cheek, the shiny metal reflecting into your eyes.
“Well you don’t have to worry about him anymore.” The look in Bucky’s eyes was primal, like he was no longer a man. The charming smile from before was now warped and too large, his lips curling to show his teeth and gums.
“You’re scaring me. Please don’t hurt me!”
“Hurt you? I would never.” He said, not moving the knife from your face. “I’m your boyfriend now. And I’m not going to let anything happen to you again.”
He brought the knife down from your cheek slowly, the sharp tip dragging down your neck. He began to slice the top button off your nightgown.
“Now, you made such beautiful noises for me before. Let me hear you scream, Pumpkin.”

Since the core 4 is gonna be 17 in season 5, here are the shitty minimum wage jobs they would have
Tumblr media
Ok so this one may take a bit of imagination, but Mike gets hired at a local automotive shop, the last job he wanted. But after working there and learning about cars he becomes obsessed with cars, and will never stop talking about them. This becomes his special interest since late Junior year, and constantly offers to fix his friends cars because it gives him an excuse to ramble. He dumps random facts onto people and he has no patience with customer service, he’ll give you attitude and call you stupid.
Will works in retail, and has the most insane patience with assholes at his job. He could be getting yelled at and he would say “I’m sorry” or just smile and tell them to have a nice day. But he would go to Mikes and complain about his job. Most of his co workers are older women who think he’s the sweetest thing alive, and are slightly convinced him and Mike are dating.
Dustin works at the local movie theater, and similar to Steve, would sneak all his friends into the movies for free. He constantly brags about having the best job out of all of them. Him and Steve steal candy and popcorn from the concession stand constantly. He takes hour breaks on his 30s, because “no one will stop him” he pushes every single boundary he can, not because he wants to break the rules, but simply he’s curious on how far he can go without getting in trouble.
Lucas babysits, and he’s really good with children. Mostly because he has experience with having a little sister, bug he’s much nicer to these children than he is to Erica (meaning he teases her like siblings do) he’s really good at reading stories and putting the kids to bed, again because that’s something he probably grew up learning how to do. Every time the parents come to their kid so well behaved, they ask Lucas how the hell he did it. Also he gets paid the most in the whole friend group.

Quiet In The Theater (Human!Vox x Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CW: Power dynamics (Boss/assistant), Public sex, public fingering, public cockwarming, edging. Rated: Adult Requested by: Anon Summary: As a reward for years of diligent service, your boss rewarded you with a movie date. Except, it wasn't a date and you watching the movie was more of a chore... Follow up to: Dressing Room but not required to be read together
Tumblr media
You were eager to accept when Vox had asked you to accompany him to the cinema. It wasn’t often you got to go out to see a new movie and even less often that you got to go out and do anything with Vox. The wage you earned as his personal assistant simply wasn’t enough to allow for it.
You were even more eager to step out with the handsome man that employed you. It had been a long few years, working first as a lowly assistant, running coffee for anyone who needed it and getting yelled at for things that were far from your fault.
All it took was one unique and rather scandalous encounter with Vox and your life slowly set on a course that would change your life. You had been tasked with delivering him an updated script, changes made to the show at the last minute and facing the wrath he was known for. Instead, he sought comfort in you, or at least that was how you choose to define what had occured. The result was three years of watching his career skyrocket with you standing just behind him.
Along with it came blurred lines.
You were not Vox’s girlfriend, though that didn’t keep him from holding you even when he had girlfriends. They came and went, some lasting only a few short weeks at his side. He wasn’t a man that settled down; you knew that but you couldn’t help but hope that one day he would notice you as more than just a quick way to relieve stress. It was a childish dream that he would see you for your loyalty, nothing more than a girlish hope that he would take you as his partner in reward for your unwavering dedication to him.
You had fallen in love with Vox.
Maybe tonight was the night where he would tell you he finally realized he had feelings for you. Maybe tonight he would tell you he loved you. Maybe tonight was the night you got to live your storybook dream. Maybe tonight.
It was always ‘maybe tonight’ in your heart.
It was a disappointment when he did not take your hand as you walked through the theater. There was no soft kiss on your cheek, like he would sometimes give you when you both worked late into the evening. The most he did was rest his palm of his hand on your upper back as he led you to your seats.
That was alright, you told yourself. You had wanted to see this movie, a romantic comedy that had great reviews, anyway. It was alright, you’d make the best of it. It was alright that once again your heart was breaking ever so slightly in your chest.
There would be other nights for Vox to see that you loved him. There would be other nights for him to decide he loved you, too. You had the rest of your lives for him to realize it. That was alright.
The movie had been out for a while and while it was well loved, it wasn’t surprising to find the theater failed to fill up, with less than half the seats being spoken for as the last of the lights dimmed. Vox led you up and up, making his way to the back row of the nearly empty theater.
That was alright too, you told yourself. It meant fewer people standing, blocking the view while they made their way to bathrooms or couples necking, distracting from the film. You’d have a good view and not have to pay for it with the distracting of other people.
Vox set the popcorn down in the seat next to him as he folded his seat down. The dark room ensured few people could see anything at all as the preshow screening started. You tried to step over Vox’s outstretched feet and could have sworn you were going to clear them.
Somehow, you still tripped over his long legs. Strong arms caught you as you crumpled down, not letting you fall to the dirty floor or worse yet, over the seats in front of you.
That was how you ended up in Vox’s lap just as the movie began. His fingers dug into your sides, holding you in place.
“Vox,” you whispered, turning to him, “let me take my seat.”
“You picked your seat already,” Vox said. “Now settle down, get comfortable. It’s a two-hour movie.”
Vox didn’t give you much of a choice but to do as he told you to do. Even as he slipped the jacket from his shoulders, he kept a hand around your waist, ensuring you didn’t get it into your head to slip over to the unoccupied seat next to him. You knew better than to disobey, but that didn’t stop him from keeping you rooted in place.
He held you in place as the movie started, hand quickly begining to caress your waist. It was an idle action; you told yourself, nothing more. A shiver ran down your spine as you sat forward, hoping no one noticed your perch.
“Cold?” Vox asked, leaning forward to whisper the word in your ear. His breath washing over your neck caused a shiver to run down your spine anew. “Poor thing.” He pulled his jacket around, fluffing it out in the air in front of you before draping it over your legs.
“Thank you,” you said, as Vox wrapped his arm around your waist, just below your breasts, and pulled you to lean back against his chest. You could feel every thump of his heart against his ribs. Each rise and fall of his breath in his chest took you along with it.
“Watch the movie,” Vox said as his other hand ran down your thighs, making it terribly hard for you to do just that.
The movie played, and Vox had intended to watch it. That was before you ended up tucked in his lap, against his chest. It was hard to focus on the dull romantic plot as you shifted, body rubbing against his cock in his pants. Vox watched as a couple started falling in love before deciding it was more fun to entertain himself with the show in his lap.
You shifted and twitched, trying to scoot away from the caressing hands that helped themselves to your body. It was a matter of your time before he was slipping his hand under the skirt, running it up your thigh, taking in the soft skin hidden away just for him.
“Vox?” You whispered as he pulled your leg to hook over his knee.
“Hook your other leg over my knee,” Vox directed. You moved to listen, bringing your thighs together only to have his voice in your ear, stopping you. “My other knee. Spread them.”
“Sir?” Your voice quivered as you did as he said. “This isn’t appropriate.”
“It’s appropriate for you to watch your movie.” Vox answered, fingers running up the inside of your thigh. “And it’s appropriate for me to entertain myself through a boring movie.”
Fingers caressed the gusset of your panties, hand pushing the skirt up around your hips. The touch was light, tantalizing, as his fingers ran over your covered slit. His knees spread, pulling your legs further apart, ensuring the only thing that kept your modesty was his jacket in your lap and the theater’s darkness. The tips of his finger passed over your clothed clit, first ghostingly light as he caressed your core.
The pressure built as he worked your clit through the fabric. Once he could feel the hot wetness begin to build in your panties, he smiled against the back of your neck. It felt good to know he could get to you, work you up in such a way, no matter where you were.
“Stand up.”
“What?” You struggled to keep your voice even, struggled to ignore the way you felt Vox’s cock throbbing against your ass.
“I said, be a good girl and stand up. keep ahold of my jacket when you do.”
You did as he told you. That was your job as his assistant, after all. He ignored your whispered protests as he pulled the panties down your legs. They fell to the floor as shame burned through your face, leaving a trail of wet slick smeared down your thighs. A polished shoe hooked the fabric and pulled them to the side, urging you to step out of them.
“Hand them to me,” Vox ordered. “Keep those knees locked.”
His hand ran up the back of your bare thighs as you bent at the waist. While the movie played in front of you, Vox pushed your skirt to gather on your lower back, just draping over most of the swell of your ass. He could see your glistening folds, wet but not yet sopping as you bent down at the waist, putting your cunt on display for him.
The clicking of his belt was soft, nearly missed over the sound of the movie as your fingers grazed the fabric of your panties. You were not the world’s most flexible woman and so reaching the small pile of cloth on the floor took a few tries. Each try pushed your cunt into Vox’s view, framed by the slight coverage of your shirt.
Each time you bent down, bobbing a bit as you reached the limits of your flexibility, Vox ran his fingers up your naked slit. You gasped, fingers snagging the fabric as his fingers sank inside your opening before slipping back out agian, having just had a taste of your wetness.
“Sit down, just as you were,” Vox ordered.
His hand pushed his cock down so he could trap it between his thighs for the time being. It wasn’t the most comfortable position, not with the way his trousers bit into his sensitive flesh, but it kept you from realizing what he had planned for you as you sat back on his lap, legs hooked on either side of his knees.
As soon as you settled, he spread his knees apart, spreading your thighs and allowed his cock to spring up, slapping the wet folds of your pussy. You gasped as he trust up, running his length through your folds as his hand wrapped around your hips.
“Vox what are you-?”
“Up, just a bit.” Vox ordered, and you knew you couldn’t question him. Doing what Vox said, without fail or question, was how you stayed in your position. It’s how you kept your job. It was how you kept your bed open to Vox.
You gasped as the head of his cock nestled against your wet entrance. Vox had made you wet, but not wet enough for him to push easily inside you as he let you sink down.
The burning stretch of him as he pushed inside you stole your breath. Deeper and deeper he reached as you sank down his shaft, walls dragging along his shaft. Your breath caught in your lungs as you struggled to get enough air, fighting to keep his name only a whisper on your tongue. He pushed your hips down, forcing you to take him deeper until you nestled on his cock, sitting in his lap.
“Lean back,” Vox whispered against your neck, lips moving against the soft hairs in a way you wanted so badly to be a kiss. He reached up, grabbing your breast and pulling you back to him as his other hand ran down your thigh.
“Vox, we can’t be doing this, not here,” your voice trembled as he spread his legs wider, opening you wider.
“We already are,” Vox whispered as you sat, stuffed full of his cock in a movie theater with other patrons. “Now watch your movie while I entertain myself. Oh, and don’t make a sound.”
You tried to do what he told you to. It was a battle to follow the plot, the characters, as his cock twitched inside you. Your walls rippled and clenched around him as his finger lazily ran over your clit, bringing you closer and closer to the edge.
Every time you thought he may bring you over the edge, send you spiraling down in a sea of pleasure, his fingers would leave your clit and spread your slick around your folds as your body slowly unwound around him. Soft fingers ran around where your body swallowed his cock, collecting the slick that was pouring from your stuffed opening and spreading it up to your clit.
You panted, trying to swallow back the soft moans that fell from your lips. Sometimes you hid your face within Vox’s neck, begging for him to give you mercy in a harsh whisper only to have him issue the same order, again and again.
Watch your movie.
You sat, holding his cock inside you as you struggled to do as he told you to. Plot moved on without you keeping up, far more focused on every twitch of the heavy cock lodged tightly against your cervix. He held your hips tightly, hot breath washing over your shoulder as you twitched and squirmed.
“Do you want me to fuck you?” Vox whispered in your ear, only to hear you whimper in response. It wasn’t like he needed a verbal response, anyway. Your body betrayed you, clenching around his shaft tight enough that he groaned softly. “Make you cum on my cock in this theater, where anyone can see the slut you are for your boss?”
“Please?” You whimpered as the characters on the screen kissed passionately, locked in an embrace that resulted in the shedding of clothes. “Vox, it’s too much.”
“You’ve kept me nice and warm for the last hour,” He whispered in your ear. “You’ve been so good for me. Want me to make you feel good?”
“Please, Vox?” you struggled to think as the couple on the screen fell into bed. “Please?”
“You’ve got to be quiet,” Vox whispered in your ear. “If you want to cum on my cock right now, you better remember we’re in a theater and what do we do in theaters?”
“Be quiet,” you whispered, walls fluttering around his cock as he ran his fingers over your clit. “Be quiet in the theater.”
“Good girl,” Vox thrusted up into you, fucking into you as he pushed you further and further. The chair creaked slightly as he fucked up into you. His balls slapped up into you as he drove you closer and closer.
“Vox,” you whined, face turning into his neck as his hand gripped your breast, pinching your nipple between through the layers of fabric. “Vox, Vox, Vox!”
“That’s right, Dollface,” Vox was chasing his own release as your walls fluttered around him. “Cum with my name on your lips.”
Your body clenched around him, gripping him like a vice as you came with a whispered cry. His name was on your lips as you tried to keep your voice low. As your cries climbed in volume, Vox slotted turned your head to face him.
He fucked into you, watching for a moment as your dazed eyes struggled to focus on his face. Curling around you, he slotted his lips over your parted lips, so pretty and pink as they chanted his name. He swallowed your cries, controlling your volume when you failed to. That’s alright, he would forgive you, this time.
“Good girl,” Vox whispered, fingers digging into you as your orgasm pulled his from him. The tight waves of contractions through your walls milked him of his cum as he buried himself deeper and deeper inside you.
Spent, he stilled, leaving his cock lodged in your over sensitive hole. You twitched around him as you took deep, gasping breaths.
“Better?” He asked and you nodded. “Good, keep me warm and finish your movie.”

the yellowjackets with a younger s/o...
hey, I'm back! it didn't take me long, right? it must be because I have too many things to write on this blog, finally (and I have relatively enough time to organize my ideas for now). so I thought, I made a headcannon of the young yellowjackets, but I might as well make the adult survivors, right? anyway, maybe this is also a sign to say that I will "moderately" write stories with the adult versions, too. who cheered? anyway, without further ado, let's go! thanks for the likes on the first post, I'm glad you liked it! enjoy! sorry for any grammatical or coherence errors, english is not my first language and I'm trying to improve!
---------
dating a younger person with the yellowjackets women...
shauna shipman.
Tumblr media
okay, it's canonical that shauna would have no problem being in a relationship with someone younger.
I mean, even after adam, I think she would be willing to try.
it would be a lot easier in her mind, because dating someone younger means being able to reconnect with callie more easily too.
in shauna's mind, the two of you would be best friends based on your approximate age, regardless of how old you were.
now in terms of dating shauna, i think she would inevitably be an easy going person, to a certain extent.
overprotective as hell, of course, because she's lost so many people she loves over time (and it's become an incurable trauma in her life), that she can't bear to lose you.
she would also cook for you (rabbit meat inserted) all the time, especially if you felt like eating something special.
oh yes, the weekends would have to include callie with you, which is actually not a problem. at least not for you.
I feel like shauna hasn't been, since she was a teenager, someone who would be involved in loud parties or anything like that, so probably the perfect date for her would be watching a movie at home, wrapped in blankets with you, popcorn and soda and a solitude considerable enough for you to kiss, exchange affection and even make out (or have sex) without anyone to get in the way.
natalie scatorccio.
Tumblr media
natalie, like shauna, would also have no problem dating someone younger.
since her life has always been full of risks and she was never very afraid of taking most of them, I honestly think that age never made much of a difference to her, at least not after middle age.
but to be honest, dating natalie comes with a combo of even bigger problems and risks that you wouldn't be able to deal with if you didn't love her so much.
I see natalie completely using her s/o as an outlet, or a shield. after rehab, you would be like a kind of warning for her to control herself.
not that it wouldn't also include (if you're a smoker) the two of you smoking in your spare time when you're bored.
natalie would be the kind of girlfriend you could have any conversation in the world with, sober or not. she probably has and gained enough empathy to listen to you and give you accurate advice on how to live your life.
making out a lot and having sex in unusual places also counts.
in my head, despite everything, natalie is the master of serving affection. spooning with her is the best whenever you need it.
she would do anything for you. everything really. anything.
she would be able to get into a fight for you. and risking her own life as well.
lottie matthews.
Tumblr media
number one defender of the thesis: "age is just a number".
lottie is literally the personification of quality time and acts of service.
much because of her lonely life, her traumatic and confusing teenage years and the relationships she maintained with people over time, lottie would probably never want you to lack for anything, so any opportunity she has to be with you, she will be, even on her worst days.
arts and crafts dates with her when she is not taking care of camp green pine. you spend hours enjoying each other's company, and the whole world falls silent.
extremely overprotective of you too. just the thought of losing you because of her own insecurities leaves lottie haunted for weeks if she stops to think about it.
she is the ideal companion for anxiety and panic attacks.
she will most likely use the techniques she learned over time with you. if they work, that's another matter. (they always work because in the end it was never about lottie's gift, it was about her company).
a little submissive, a little dominant during sex. lottie is probably the typical "am I hurting you?" at the right time and even if you insist no, she will ask again just to be sure.
she's also the master spooner (I literally see you two fighting over who's going to be the big spoon every night).
taissa turner.
Tumblr media
ok, public life has always been a problem for taissa.
but when she's with you, she's able to forget about it for a few minutes.
despite all this freedom, taissa never lets you go out unaccompanied (without a bodyguard) or lets you read the headlines or see the commercials about her first, for fear of any criticism about your age difference.
but more than anything, it's you she turns to when the stress finally gets to her on the worst days.
I see her making any effort for you, and I see her trying to keep a fine line between you and her old life too.
this includes your relationship with sammy, which, in fact, has always been the best possible, and her friendly relationship with simone as well. taissa knows that she cannot take her son out of her ex-wife's life and, even so, she makes a point of including you in family programs with him.
she will literally spend it all on you. anything you ask for, even with a high amount of money, she will buy.
it's probably a way of apologizing about her sleepwalking and her traumas making her even remotely distant from you for some time.
like I said, you're the one she looks for when crises end up attacking her mental health. she won't sleep if you're not safe in bed with her and she makes a point of being snuggled in her arms so she doesn't have any sleepwalking attacks in the middle of the night.
dates with her are always in fancy places, but taissa doesn't care about them that much.
anniversaries, yes, she always takes you to dinner at a fancy restaurant.
but, on her days off, she would easily choose to just spend time with you watching a stupid series or a cliché movie while you sleep cuddling in the middle of it.
sex always, sex anywhere, sex on any occasion. you will never miss this, you can be sure.
van palmer.
Tumblr media
this nerdy woman deserves the world and a significant other who doesn't know half of her references.
you two are a match made in heaven, for sure.
van wouldn't waste time trying to get you to watch all the movies that were popular in her time. and she would use your ability to tinker with technology for the video store whenever necessary.
this woman is literally the embodiment of girlfriend material.
quality time, acts of service, words of affirmation, she has mastered every love language in existence, you bet.
van will always cook for you. there are rare nights when she lets you make dinner or even order any junk food.
she would also stop whatever she was doing so she could cuddle with you whenever you needed her.
dates with van are always at the cinema, or at an amusement park, or, when she is a little less in debt, at a tourist spot around the world that you would mention that you want to see.
she has good enough memory to remember them all.
the sex is always good, always affectionate, and every now and then, when she's not tired, you'd try a quickie in the bedroom for just a little while, until you feel satisfied.
hopeless romantic until the end of time.
misty quigley.
Tumblr media
a walking red flag, misty would probably treat a relationship with someone younger as if it were a great adventure.
well, if you like crazy women, misty is your ideal partner.
she has a bit of a misconception about taking care of you and keeping you safe, so every now and then she'll make a point of checking your calendar and trying to monitor meetings with people in your circle, just to make sure there's no problem.
but this is also a good thing because, if there is a specific date or specific problem, she will remember it and make everyone special, in her own way.
anyway, but she's a good girlfriend too, aside from the weirdness. she has everything under control, she is attentive to you and makes a point of making your day better if it is bad.
dates with her don't need much. If it's in a cafe relaxing and talking about her day, if it's watching crime series or chatting with her about citizen detectives, she'll be happy.
sex is also good, to be honest. I see misty as the roleplay girl, so if she's in the mood to roleplay with you, you can be sure she'll do it. from weirdest to sexiest, it also depends on her day.
she achieved the feat of making a young person like a bird and want to have a bird at home. she is, at the moment, the only one of them to be able to do this masterfully.
