I want to write barbie x ken fanfiction set maybe a couple years after the movie (Barbie spoilers)

where ken decides to go to the Real World because he Can Do That now and meets barbie again whos been adjusting and living self-love and doing things and finding herself and It's this, like, tearful reunion moment and Ken's still in love with her but he's much better at keeping it to himself because ken always respects barbie's decisions, but barbie spends a few days with this ken who has over time also sort of become himself, and has discovered his interests and likes and dislikes and became, like, more rounded through experiences and discovers that she finds him utterly endearing and begins falling for him and just. Second chances pure friendship to lovers barbie x ken where they take some time off for themselves and meet each other as better people (dolls? idk u get the point).

#we follow Derek from New York. Laura left for beacon hills. it’s been six years since he was back but he hasn’t heard from her #and hes going stir crazy waiting. he packs up and travels back. it’s almost too much immediately. he still can’t get a hold of Laura #he can’t resist going home. it’s like a natural pull that guides him back. all at once he’s 16 again. staring at the wreckage of his life #deputy stilinski is sherrif now. it’s reassuring in the slightest that the police force seems to have moved on from how corrupt it was #he catches her scent and it’s putrid. bile catches in his throat. he seeks it out. still in denial to what he knows it means.#when he finds Laura it’s like the world ends all over again. he can’t stand to see her like this. he gives her a proper burial.#the best he can do at least #he visits Peter. he’s not the man Derek remembers- so full of fire and cunning. their relationship may have been strained at times.#often Derek felt more like Eve being swayed by the snake than a normal friendship #but this isn’t the sharp tongued uncle who guided him. this is a broken shell. all that remained of his family. he was so lost.#22 but he barely knew how to function without his family- his pack paving the way #Laura handled everything. she got the apartment. she made sure they had food. Derek looks back and feels so useless #he was so lost in his grief. Laura must of felt the same way but she never let them drown in it #she made sure he got his GED. even got him to enroll in community college classes.#he took them online. he never was able to warm up to people the same way. he used to be so full of life. now he just wanted to be left alone #he studied English. never finished his degree. doesn’t look like he ever will now. he can’t go back to Laura and his shared home.#can’t bare to see another shell of a home #he vents to the vacant audience of Peter and his cold fixed eyes #Derek leaves. he wants to promise he’ll return soon #but promises feel costly these days #he decides to go back to the reserve. maybe he can find some clue as to what happened to Laura #someone lured her here. someone who knew them and their history here #his mind went to the worst. Kate. why would she go through the trouble six years later. why wait so long.#Derek couldn’t stomach the thought of facing her. he focused on the woods. the scents were all over the place.#clearly multiple people had been through here recently. two scents were much stronger. Derek follows them #but when he hears the crunch of leaves he realizes why the scents are so strong. they’re still here #he ducks behind some trees. listening in on their conversation. but an echo of their scent catches his attention #he spots an inhaler on the ground. he puts two and two together and swipes it from the leaves.#he comes out once they’re closer. tossing over the inhaler- he figures they’ll leave. dumb kids messing around in the woods #he reminds them this is private property. though that may not be true anymore. he recognizes the scent of a new beta. interesting.

I uh- kind of poured all my chaotic energy into her, and separated her from the rest of the npc cast? Otherwise the dialogue would get totally fucked, and my ‘I need to hit this story with a drama nuke’ desire would cause trouble.

So she’s uhhh off on her adventure of a different genre. (But stuff she does Will affect things... dun dun dunnnn) but dude Wow she would be so irritated by Jun. Good thing we’re going to Sanctuary to leave them and take Preston.... OR THAT IS WHAT I WOULD SAY if she didn’t want to be anywhere near the vault!! We’re going somewhere else, babeyyyyy! Maybe talking with him and Murphy would bring some understanding (is what I would say if I were doing big character development in the beginning but we’re not!!) Shoving my desire for conflict into this.

#also I’ve gotten into rain world! so we may see some influence #...thinking of. the rot. and throwing it into jer’s world #what huh who said that #we already had the idea of giant salamanders so that might inspire me to draw them more!#I wonder since towns are more developed in this au there’s also more education? and people are a bit more mindful of the environment? maybe #oh but kiley would definitely agree with that guy who said baseball was a blood sport. #Avriya #Dejar #Lucky #Leda #Varith #uss historia #star trek ocs #the uss historia is a ship that visits already known and contacted planets in Federation space and strives to get a more in-depth look at #their cultures and people etc so there's more on file than just whatever brief adventure the first contact ship went on~!#It's not a ship full of particularly /enterprising/ people...HEHEHE #People who love History and such find it fascinating and very important but a lot of people in Starfleet who want to be assigned ships want #to actually explore NEW things or go on grand ADVENTURES not talk to locals and write up a ton of reports #The two people out of these five who actually don't want to be on the Historia are Dejar and Lucky though #Dejar because his world is kind of shattered after not being chosen to be joined to a trill (he'd prepared all his life for it and was told #he was an excellent candidate...a surefire in...best in class...now what is he???)#Lucky because she wants to be stationed as a doctor in one place instead of traveling all the time but she's oKAY with being on the Historia #while she's still just a medical ensign...it's good for her record v_v #Varith gets calls OFTEN from his siblings checking up on him and he's like =_= today we talked to the Skreeans about farms for eight hours #bea art tag #beas ocs #also they do wear uniforms I just drew them in more casual clothes to get a better feeling for their personalities

oh no the character who was comedic relief and silly has transformed in my mind into the most nuanced and mentally ill wet cat in all the land

#deke shaw what have you done to me #he didn't want to help shield but he ended up sacrificing himself so they could get home. he was fully prepared to die for them.#but then he time traveled with them and he got a second chance #and instead of staying in the lighthouse where he knew he would be safe #he chose to go out and see the world before it inevitably cracked apart and killed him #but the planet didnt crack open!!! and he became a capitalist :(#and he built a life for himself outside of the lighthouse but then his best friend turned out to be an undercover shield agent so shield #followed him even when he was trying to distance himself.#don't even Get Me Started on season 7 #for deke shaw all roads lead back to the lighthouse. he cant escape that place #he was born there and he will die there. because he is the director of shield. an agency he ran from but couldnt escape #biting gnashign teearing sgkdhsahds;kfjdklshfds #i want to see him crying and bleeding #ill never forgive the show for giving him a favorite food

Current worry about Starfall’s themes and Asha’s arc in particular is that it parallels the Darkrai arc a liiittle too well

#the world’s space is out of balance and causing distortions and cracks to spread #you are told you are the reason this is happening because you are a distortion/out of place in the world yourself #develops suicidal ideation as a result wondering if sacrificing themself for the sake of the world is for the best and that you dont belong #anyways so who would care #and then finally creatures associated with space are trying to kill you and are basically affirming that belief #the only differences ig are that asha is legitimately kind of a big distortion and her existence is a strain on their universe #(if only because that universe is at its limit when it comes to interdimensional anomalies and travels #and no one is telling asha to kill herself or anything she gets those thoughts on her own. mental illness #it sooorta goes in a different direction where asha has to seek help to stabilize themself for their own sake #cause living without any sort of treatment to handle their glitching is detrimental to them #and its not something that can be snapped away like how palkia works with hero and partner #like. asha at her core is an anomaly shes a pokemon that was never meant to exist. erasing the anomaly means erasing her.#i cant say its all a coincidence either tho cause asha’s glitch is directly inspired by hero and partner being considered anomalies in postg #postgame #it’s basically that combined with the gti postgame implications #echoed voice #starfall tag #pmd posting #suicide mention #jic
