IT IS SO DIFFICULT FOR ME TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THEM 😵‍💫 I have a lot of thoughts abt the two since they're the most recent songs Danny (er Fox Szn) has released...

Both Nepo Baby and Last Night are incredible comedy songs, while Nepo Baby is centered around a comedic theme, Last Night is a genre parody of 2010s recession pop and both are executed SO WELL.

Nepo Baby is also extremely catchy and the punchlines in the song are SO perfect the way he builds them up before executing them is 👌!! Last Night does a great job of over exaggerating the typical 2010s pop theme of "living tonight like its our last night" and incorporating party themes/"working hard". Both are just so good I absolutely love Danny's lyricism in his comedy songs he's so talented when it comes to writing funny and catchy comedy music 🥰

Sorry for rambling but all in all I'd have to pick Nepo Baby cuz I have 5k plays for the song and it's the best thing Danny's ever written (Last Night is def right next to it tho the genre parody is 🥰💕)

Stargazer is the track that plays once you scale the wall and reach the top of Pebble's can. Even today, having taken that path countless times, the moment that music kicks in gives me goosebumps.

The climb before was harrowing, filled with danger at every corner and one misstep away from falling to your demise. Eventually, though, you make it, you reach the top, you climb up the last pole and get your first real good view of the entire world, the local group's cans (or those that still remain) peeking over the thick blanket of tumultuous clouds.

After such a sheer climb, one would expect some sort of a reward, or at least a beautiful luscious area to explore, but no, that's not what you get. The moment you reach the roof of pebble's can you can just feel the sheer emptiness and vastness of what you're standing on sink in. The song doesn't kick in immediately, it lets you sit in silence for a couple moments.

The towering city behind you is completely empty. And yet it's so massive, quite literally gazing at the stars above it.

You faced a harsh climb, risked your life to climb up the body of a dying god, and what do you get in return? Nothing.

So I just got to see Alice by heart live. With live music. And actors that are all also obsessed with ABH. I'm so happy.

Some highlights:

The soldier boys actor (again, still don't remember his name), had such a GREAT understanding of the character and their trauma.

Alice was insanely manic after finding out about Alfred's condition. And not just the normal amount that is in the script- she was laughing at inappropriate times before bursting into tears.

The actors for Alice and tabitha NEARLY KISSED. ON STAGE.

alphreds actor had so much whimsy it was like watching a cartoon character bad i love it sm.

Miss cross and the queen were distinctly different characters, only connected by Alice's mind. Miss cross was terrified and grieving, and was the lover of Dr. Butridge.

During the lobster dance, Alfred MADE SURE to include Tabitha in the dance. Not as Cheshire, but as Tabitha. And it was only with Alice, before alfred tapped her shoulder softly and smiled, and omg, I teared up bc that was so cute.

The "I'm sick to death of Alice-ness" was PERFECT. the actors were AMAZING, the choreo was on top of it, and it wasn't just a song, they were clearly communicating what was happening, and HATTER HELD MARCH HARE TO HIS CHEST WHEN ALICE WALKED IN. and alfred genuinely SCREAMED at the end on his last line.

I just... All of it. Everyone was so passionate and they were so many amazing things. I LOVE THSI SHOWEW GOD

Your mom invited Sevika to every small gathering. Be it a family dinner, or even a family gathering, the tall woman would be there. And that’s what sparked her attraction for you.
