one gasp, and then…
“how did it end?” the woman strokes your arm, soothing, tentative.
you don’t know her all that well, she’s signed to the same agency as you, you see her in the halls sometimes and sit next to her in makeup chairs.
you stare blankly at her, registering. news travels fast apparently.
you smile, small, fake, tilting your head to the side. you mumble something about different schedules, timezones, right person, wrong time. she watches your face intently, with sympathy. you want to throttle her. she’s being kind and you despise her for it right now.
“i won’t tell anyone.” she affirms, her fingers still smoothing over the skin of your arm.
yes you will, you think. all of her friends, the rest of the building will know exactly what you’ve told her by the time you get to your meeting. you don’t begrudge her, though, that’s the nature of the industry.
“well, it was good to see you.” you nod, even go in for a quick hug, and then you speed away, beelining for the elevator. the ride is short, your managers office somewhere on the third floor and you shuffle down the corridor, ready to be informed of what your life will look like for the next three months.
fittings, shoots, paris trip.
mhm.
swimwear season, charlotte tilbury, meeting with the vogue journalist.
cool.
week off, few days in london, monaco grand prix.
no.
“what? no.” you splutter. out of habit, you reach for a necklace, frown when you realise it’s no longer there.
“what do you mean, no?” she narrows her eyes at you.
“i can’t go to the race. no.”
“girl, i love you, but did i ask?”
“you know i can’t-“
“you won’t have to see him.” she reasons.
“but what if i do? he’s obviously gonna be there, and the events before and after- no. no.”
“lando norris is not gonna be the end of you.”
you stifle a laugh, one that sounds more like a strangled cry.
what if he already was?
-
look who we ran into at the shops,
walking in circles like he was lost
lando stares at the shampoo.
specifically, the one you use. used. he can’t be too sure anymore, he supposes.
he’d popped out for a loaf of bread, about an hour ago. he didn’t want to acknowledge how long he’d been staring at the women’s toiletries section.
you seemed to live on, everywhere. lando could see you in his apartment, the passenger seat of his car, the back of the garage. even the fucking supermarket wasn’t safe. you were very much alive, moving on with life, and yet you haunted him like he’d killed you himself.
perhaps he had, in a way.
the basket grazes the outside of his leg.
that’s the shower gel he’d buy for you, the one you only used when you stayed with him in monaco.
there’s the tampons you asked him to buy, crying back at home on your- his bed.
oh, and there’s the shampoo that you made him buy, the one that you told him made his curls feel extra fluffy when he was between your legs-
“lando?” a voice calls, drawing lando out of the mist.
“oh, alex. hey.” lando croaks. he hasn’t noticed the lump in his throat until now. he clears his throat, running a hand through his hair.
“what you doing, mate?” alex asks, eyebrows furrowed. he scans lando’s face, puffy eyes, watery.
“shopping.”
“for women’s shampoo?”
“no, no, just… looking.” lando stutters.
“when was the last time you slept?” alex’s voice is laced with concern, apprehensive. he doesn’t know what to say to his heartbroken friend.
lando smiles weakly.
“i’ve been sleeping.”
alex sighs.
“okay, when was the last time you slept properly, then?”
lando’s shoulders visibly sag.
-
we hereby conduct this post-mortem
“we can’t do this anymore.”
the words fall from your lips in a whisper, but they reach him like you’ve screamed them at him. he sits opposite you, in the arm chair, so far away, only a metre or so.
“i know.” lando breathes shakily.
“i don’t want this but…”
“yeah.”
it’s been such a good year. you’re in love. it’s not enough. there’s too much distance, too many outsider opinions, too much longing for someone who’s on the other side of the world.
he’ll be in london. you’ll be in brazil.
he’ll be in australia. you’ll be in amsterdam.
it’s too much.
“i love you, though.” you remind him meekly.
“don’t know how to not love you.” he sniffles.
your heart shatters, the pieces flying over the room, spilling across the floor. they mix with the splinters of his, painting the room red. all you feel is blue.
you cry in his arms when he takes you to bed, his own tears spilling over your collar bone when he buries his head in your neck, licks over the marks he’s left there. to remember me by, he’d muttered dryly.
when you’re both finished, he lays there for a moment, still on top of you. damp with sweat and tears, the taste of one another still lingering on your tongues.
“how is it possible that i miss you already?” he pants, lips grazing just below your ear.
“i get it, lan. i’ve been missing you for a while.”
you’re gone when he wakes up.
and so, a touch that was my birthright became foreign
-
come one, come all
it’s happening again
the empathetic hunger descends
there are about six cameras pointed at you when he asks the dreaded question.
you’re in new york, sat on a talk show hosts sofa, lit by stage lights and his inquisitive eyes. two hundred people sit in the audience, on the edge of their seats waiting for you to spill your secrets.
“so, what happened there, with lando?”
you plaster on the fakest smile to date, crossing your legs anxiously.
“we’re both just so busy, you know? he’s doing amazing things in f1 and i’m all over the place with work.”
“we love both of you over here, it was sad to hear.” he sympathises, adjusting his tie and leaning back in his chair. his fingers drum over the wood of his desk, waiting for more.
vultures. everyone is a vulture.
“and we still have a lot of love for each other. he’s a wonderful person.”
there are tears in your eyes and bile rising rapidly in your throat when you shake hands with the crew, the host, and retreat to your dressing room. you stumble into the en-suite and throw up. then, you fall onto the sofa and cry. you fix your makeup at godspeed and reply to the text from your team, inviting you to drinks at some rooftop bar, promising to meet them there. you punctuate the text with one too many exclamation marks, feigning excitement.
“we still have a lot of love for each other.”
translation: i can’t understand: how did it end?
-
lando watches your interview. of course he does. he watches everything that you do, watches the way you set the world on fire.
he can’t help himself where you’re concerned, like an addict craving the next hit. you look so pretty on tv, glowing. you look fine.
god, why do you look fine?
he hates himself for hating just how fine you look. he is not fine.
“he’s a wonderful person.”
your words ring in his ears. they anger him, because if he’s oh-so-wonderful, why aren’t you here? why isn’t he there with you, waiting backstage? why can’t you just hate him? why can’t he just hate you? maybe you will, if he shows you just how not wonderful he can be.
he gets drunk that night. forces max to hit the clubs with him. sticks his tongue down a pliant woman’s throat. doesn’t ask her name. let’s her invite him back to her place. it has to be her place, he can’t fuck someone else in your bed, the one you used to share. he leaves minutes after he’s pulled out. he’s sure she’s lovely, too good for him and his bitter fucking heart. he feels utterly disgusting.
lando goes home, scrubs his skin red, and then does it again. he doesn’t go to sleep, watches from his balcony as the sun begins to rise over the sea. he hikes to the highest point he can reach in monaco, where it’s quiet and there’s no one to judge him, or worse, sympathise with him.
he stands at the edge of the cliff. screams once, twice. he sits on a rock, and lets himself cry.

your stylist is plying you with options.
you can wear the denim with the cream OR you could do the red and white? or we can go full glam! or! or! or! we could-
you drown her out. you don’t give a fuck. not a single one.
what you wear to the monaco grand prix is quite literally the least of the your problems. your biggest problem, of course, is that you have to go to the fucking thing.
visibility is important, get people talking! the words of your manager ring in your ears until you have a dull migraine brewing behind your ears.
you leave the fitting not entirely sure what you’re wearing, but your stylist will be sending the clothes over so you can pack.
when you land in all too familiar nice, there are cameras. when you get to the hotel in monaco, you and lando are already trending on twitter. well, at least he knows you’re coming. when you’re getting your makeup done before your first event, you get a text.
i’ll try and keep my distance.
try.
try is such an interesting word. the fact that he has to try to stay away makes your belly flutter with embarrassing, self loathing butterflies. don’t try too hard, you want to respond. you don’t.
should’ve told you i’d be here you shoot back.
you think i didn’t already know?
of course he knew. he’d probably asked god knows how many brands to invite you. you try and feign an illness but your team drag you kicking and screaming to the event.
-
there are no two ways about it: you’re drunk, on a tuesday night, somewhere in the principality. a few cocktails with a jewellery brand turned into a night on the town, bar hopping with people you hardly knew and barely recognised.
you’re shaking your ass in jimmy’z, pretending to have fun when you see him.
lando stands at the bar, watching you, jaw tensed, eyes solemn. you exit the club faster that his car down a back straight, stumbling into the smoking area. you bum a cigarette from a guy who tries really hard to convince you that he’s the son of a british lord, and sink into the corner, ignoring the people recording you.
depressed model shame smokes outside monaco club because she is fucking pathetic, the headlines will read.
“thought you quit that shit.” his voice washes over your body like you’ve been set on fire, smooth tone, ambiguous accent making you ache.
“i did but then i got forced to come to monaco, so.” you shrug.
“forced?”
“‘m here for work.” you sigh.
“i guess i am too.” he mumbles. you raise an eyebrow.
“you live here, lan.” you tease. lan rolls off of your tongue too sweetly.
“doesn’t feel like it anymore.”
how can it, without you? he wants to scream at you. he can’t, you don’t deserve it.
“how are you?”
you want to touch him.
“shit.”
he needs a taste.
“yeah.”
you put your cigarette out. it tastes like shit, half smoked.
you stand there, stare at each other.
take me home, you want to beg.
come home, he clenches his fists, trying not to grab you and remind you how you’ll always be his, right here, up against the side of the club.
“good luck, if i don’t see you.” you whisper. you linger, praying that he’ll beg you to stay so that you can crumble into his arms, without having to make the first move.
lando ponders his options. his head and his heart wage a war.
logic wins, unfortunately.
“thank you.”
you take that as your queue to get the fuck out of there, and disappear into the night.
-
it’s raining on sunday. the dreary weather seems to perfectly sum up what has been the worst week of your life.
you’ve seen your ex boyfriend more times than you can count, ended up with about four hangovers as a result, and with a pounding head, you have to sit in the paddock club and wait for the sound of engines to split your head in half. it was your own doing, so you’d suck it up, recognising that you were a disgustingly privileged bitch, and there are people who would sell their kidneys to do what you’re complaining about.
you never complain, not usually. but your heart hurts and your body hearts and your mind hurts and it’s just not fair. lando is gorgeous, and you miss him so badly, and your shoes are digging in. who the fuck thinks it’s a good idea to wear heels to an f1 race?
you see him before the race, mouth good luck from afar. he winks. it’s something you used to do before every race. old habits die screaming.
the rain falls harder, the track slick. you say a prayer and take your seat.
“norris has this in the bag, he’s bloody good in the wet.” you hear some old guy say behind you. you are cursed with the knowledge of just how good in the wet he is, and you end up flushed.
he wins. his second one in three races. you pray that no one notices the way you weep. everyone notices.
you make a mistake and rush for the podium, your pass giving you access. he graces the top step and you sob, grinning like a fool, soaked through with rain. the anthem plays, the champagne pops. he finds your eyes in the crowd. your hair falls, stringy and curled, mascara smudged. you are the most breathtaking sight. he stands still, washed with an onslaught of champagne, watching you like he’s scared to take his eyes off of you. his boyish grin and hopeful eyes render you weak - you’re there for him, after all - and he can’t help but bask in that little fact.
dangerous territory. you break, and disappear.
-
say it once again with feeling…
the photographers barely get a second to snap a picture of the top three, because lando is gone. he takes the stairs two at a time, descending from the podium and throwing his pirelli cap and a shaky apology at his pr rep. the adrenaline spike makes his blood rush; he needs to find you and stop you and tell you that he will never be able to stop loving you.
the exit is the natural assumption, and he nearly slips a thousand times as he sprints through the paddock. the ground is wet, but he figures that if his car made it, so can he. the gates are in sight, and so are you, your clothes sticking to your shivering frame.
he calls your name, thunderously travelling towards you, his voice hitting your ears like a sonic boom. you freeze, turn slowly until your facing him. the rain splashes around you, not letting up.
you’re within his reach, and he pulls you in, hugging you tight. you melt into him, clinging like he’s a life force. he inhales you, your scent that he’s missed so horrifically. you crumble, and so does he, pieced back together as one.
“i can’t do this, i can’t.” he kisses the words into the cold skin of your neck.
“no, neither can i.” you choke wetly with emotion.
“miss you too much. it’s too hard, it’s stupid, it’s-“
“wrong. it’s wrong. ‘m sorry.” your breath fans his face, breathing life into him, life that he’d lost four months ago.
he grabs your shoulders, lowering so that his eyes are level with yours. his curls fall over his eyes, sodden from the rain.
“i don’t think, no, i know: i’m never gonna love anyone the way i love you.” lando speaks slow, convincing. your chest is tight.
“i don’t want to love anyone else.” you croak, the lump in your throat making it hard to breathe.
“come back to me.” he mutters, pleading.
“don’t think i ever left.” you breathe, hushed.
your lips slot over his easily, it’s like breathing. the kiss is messy, helpless, and he engulfs you whole, his body wrapping around yours like a blanket. you latch onto his race-suit, drawing him in, and then you both seem to remember where you are.
lando norris caught kissing ex like horny teenager in monaco paddock!
you pull away with breathless chuckle. the air is fresh, and you feel alive. he steals another peck.
“wait for me at home. i’ll be quick.” his hand finds you ass, just for a second and you scold him playfully.
home.
yeah, home.
“don’t make me wait.” you grin.
his brain short circuits.
“do you still have your key?” he splutters, refocusing.
you scoff. “never took it off the chain.”
-
you pace the apartment, taking in the space. it hasn’t changed, but it’s messier, a visual representation of lando since you left. the pit of your belly swirls with anxiety, anticipation. he’ll be back soon, and he’ll kiss you, make love to you, remind you that you’re home and that it’d be stupid to leave again.
you’re still damp from the rain, shedding layers until you’re left in your vest and jeans, ridiculous heels kicked off by the door, your jacket airing over the back of a chair.
he hasn’t taken down the pictures of you together. he hasn’t moved your ugly collection of magnets from the fridge. he hasn’t changed the blinds that you chose, but he didn’t really like. your candles sit on the bookshelf half burned, the teddy he’d won you at a fair sits neatly on the sofa. the L pendant and it’s chain is strewn over the coffee table, right where you left it the morning after it ended. your breathing is heavy.
the front door opens behind you.
you don’t move, your eyes still fixed on the silver chain, overwhelmed by how empty your neck feels all of the sudden. he comes up behind you, his head resting on your shoulder, arms finding home around your waist. you often used to find yourselves in this exact position; while you brushed your teeth, made coffee. the room is deathly silent, breathing and the distant buzz of post race festivities the only thing you can hear. lando follows your gaze.
“kept it. knew that one day, you’d come back for it.”
“i came back for you.”
“and that necklace will stay with you when i can’t be there.”
you nod. he kisses your neck.
“missed you so bad.” you gasp. he licks your skin, bites down softly.
you spin in his arms, his hands pawing at your hips and everything blurs when he kisses you.
-
shaky fingers work over zippers, buttons, clasps, and then you’re both bare. you sink into the mattress that you missed so much, his body moulded with yours when you both tumble into the sheets. this is messy and frantic, utterly lovestruck. the lightning strike of his touch has you keening, sweating beneath him already.
“missed you. missed this.”
“do something, lan.” you cry, quiet against his shoulder.
“missed my perfect girl.” he grunts, lips working your chest while his fingers leave a trail of goosebumps over your inner thigh.
“please.” you sigh when his fingers dip between your folds, sliding over your wet flesh. his lip catches between his teeth, eyes fluttering shut at the feeling of you.
he thumbs at your clit, stroking over you in slow, firm swipes, and then he’s sinking a digit into you, slow and steady. your toes curl, tears pricking your eyes at the intrusion, but you don’t have much of a chance to adjust, a second finger joining the first. he fucks you full, the stretch of just two fingers making you whine, one hand threading into the sheets while the other slams over your mouth. you want to hide, the pleasure rendering you a mess across the pale grey linen.
“no, let me look at you.” lando rasps, spare hand tugging at your wrist. you whine, writhing when he curls his fingers. “why are you hiding?”
you can’t hold back the choked cry that sounds from the back of your throat, his palm bumping your clit as he grinds his fingers deep.
“gone shy on me, baby? where’s my good girl gone?” lando coos, moving so that he’s leaning over you. the angle change sends your legs flying, kicking out at the sweet torture. “‘s because you haven’t been fucked right in so long, hm? can’t remember how to behave?” he’s smirking down at you, scanning the changing lines of your face.
“need it, need-“ you stutter, the words dying on your tongue.
“words, pretty girl, words.” lando encourages, false sympathy dripping from his tongue.
“need to cum, want you to make me…” you trail off.
“was that so hard?” he tuts, and everything speeds up.
the sound of him working you so sweetly makes you shake, your thighs clenching tight around his hand. the wet squelch hits your ears and you blush, cheeks coloured deep with embarrassment, awe, desperation.
your mouth drops open, screaming silently when it hits, your thighs slick. you drip down his wrist, his hand covered in your release.
“there’s my girl.” lando sighs, diving down to kiss you hard.
you can feel the damp press of his fingers as they dig into your thighs and you squirm beneath him, finding your way into his mouth.
“fuck me.” you slur, teeth knocking with his. he swallows you whole, groaning into your mouth.
“not so shy now, hm? been dreaming of hearing you beg for it.” lando shudders, shifting between your legs.
you can feel the press of him, thick against your cunt and you wiggle your hips, pushing to meet him halfway. the stretch burns deliciously, and you grab at his shoulders, dragging him in.
“fuck, baby.” he breathes, sinking into you slowly. “feel like heaven.” disbelief coats his voice, like he can’t reconcile that this is real; you’re back here, his, in the bed you were always supposed to share.
“it’s so good. feel so good for me, lan.” you whisper, lacing your fingers through his hair.
“love you so much.” he kisses you like he means it, rocking into you with purpose.
“can’t believe i lived without this.”
“can’t believe you’re all mine.”
the release builds, every thrust reminding you of what you could have lost for good. there was no lack of love, in fact you were starting to wonder if you had loved each other too much before.
“never losing you again. can’t live without you. my beautiful girl.”
your tummy grows tight, and he finds your clit when he feels you clamp down on him. he pulls you through the pleasure, guides you to your orgasm and you blindly follow him. you’d follow him anywhere, you decide.
you tell him you love him when you let go, spilling all around him, warm. he’s panting, kisses your forehead gently. he rolls off of you, and you feel the slow drip instantly, but you curl into his side and he wraps around you.
home.
“promise me something.” he whispers. you feel the way he shakily inhales.
“hm?”
“don’t leave again. you belong here, too. with me.”
your eyes are watery.
“i’m staying. ‘m yours.”
“about that…”
lando springs from the bed, naked, disappearing from the room. you watch, confused, cold all of the sudden.
you can hear his footsteps padding through the hallway, and then he’s back, his figure in the hallway. he runs, jumps, lands gracelessly next to you. endeared, you laugh softly.
“sit up.”
you do, leaning up to sit next to him. his fingers skim your shoulder, pushing your hair out of the way. cool metal dances over your skin.
“back where it belongs.” lando smiles at you, eyes wide and stunning.
you toy with the L. something heals in your chest, right around where your heart is.
“the sweetest boy.” you shake your head in disbelief, grin up at him like a fool.
“bath?”
“you know me so well, noz.”
come one, come all
it’s happening again
-
oh, my heart. there is something deeply wrong with me

utterly in shambles over three's a crowd. there has never been a more grander proof of devotion. i would truly eat up any lore about this verse, but i am so curious if you will, what was the thought process behind having "Outsider" as alex's superhero name? (and who is the new outsider. and how does george feel about them. IN FACT, is george even still in contact with the PIT (great name btw) agency?)
Thank you, dear anonnynonny! I've been truly gobsmacked by the response to three's a crowd (I must once again thank @latecomersprivilege who sat me down and with steel in her eyes stopped me scrapping the whole thing at the last minute - she is a queen).
So, the Outsider. I'll admit, the superhero side of things was rather thinly drawn in my head - it's mostly a means to an end to get us to the mad scientist trope, because a superhero setting lets us get a bit flexible with science and survival etc. It's also part of the deliberate fuzz of the Before Times.
But I did think quite a bit about what Alex's superhero name should be. (Largely because most superhero names are either 1) taken, or 2) extremely stupid-sounding. Like, Catman fits our boy, but it's not striking fear into hearts). in the end I based it on two things - real-world Alex's beautiful overtakes on the outside line, and his comments about how British media perceive him as "London-born Thai or not British at all". I can see Alex showing up for the first time, being dismissed by established roster, and making that a badge of honour and his whole heroic identity. He's the Outsider, but he doesn't need to belong to save the day.
Is George still in contact with PIT? Only in the sense that he maintains an artifice of an actual life to prevent anyone looking too closely at what he's really up to. So he sends them a few useful ideas if they come up in the course of the work and accepts precisely one call from his old deputy on the relevant anniversaries. They're a bit too light touch with monitoring him in return, in part because they saw his grief and are deeply sympathetic. A junior staffer is in charge of blocking his uranium orders though.
I have no headcanon on who the New Outsider is though! Pick your poison! (If I had to pick, I'd say Jamie Chadwick, but it really is up to each reader.) Regardless of who it is, George processes their existence about as well as he processes anything in three's a crowd. First he throws a fit, then he sends a petty cease and desist, and then- and then- he's gonna-
He's topside one morning fetching milk when they show up and ask for his blessing. White balaclava in hand. Wringing it out. Nervous. They're so young.
Alex was so young.
George is still using a cane, stiff from the accident with the third model - an idiotic mistake, not actively monitoring pain receptors - and they're slow and gentle as they walk back with him. Accept some nonsense about a fall down the stairs.
Despite his best efforts, the conversation drifts to the inevitable. They talk about the first time they'd seen him. When they realised they were like him. How that helped.
They're similar, George concedes. But not up to Alex's level, he doesn't say. He just heavily implies it. They roll their eyes and- no. That's too much alike.
"New," he suggests. Not the same. Not a-
"I couldn't replace him. Obviously. He's irreplacable."
Hm. Well. They'll see about that.

Julius
SS09 interview
Held on the first day of the Paris menswear cal endar, the first ever runway show from Julius was staged in a theater in the 11th arrondisement. At backstage, 30 minutes before it was due to start the models and staff resolutely made their final preparations for the show. On one side, Tatsuro Horikawa was giving an interview to a European journalist. With his face occasionally breaking out into a smile, he exuded not even a hint of unease or nervousness, displaying nothing but total com posure
Despite the pressure of staging his first run- way show in Paris, Horikawa says he didn't feel under pressure
"I wasn't particularly in a combative mood because it was a fashion show, I kind of viewed it as a 'presentation on the runway more than any thing, he says, adding that he was especially focused on the casting of the models. "The image of Jullus was established for powerful clothes that are shown on strong-looking models. But, his cheice was quite unexpected. The models were all innocent-looking schoolboy types."
The basis for his casting selection was strongly influenced by the location of the show.
"Because we were showing overspas, I was proactively conscious of the aesthetic of European elegance. Up until now I have been putting strength to the fore, but determination, prettiness and beauty were the kind of sensibilities that I valued most. I was able to communi cate my vision well to the hair and makeup artists and they were able to capture my vision to a greater extent than I had expected maybe 150%. Because we were showing in Paris, I really wanted to incorporate my worldview as best I could. I suppose it's a different sensibility over there than to here in Japan."
Jullus has been showcasing is work in Paris since the 2008-09 Autumn & Winter season, making this latest effort ity second martie to the French capital. One of the main reasons for staging a show this timo was that the reaction to the last collection was extremely favorable and the PR agency they hired strongly red them to do a show.
Regarding his label's prospects, Horikawa is upbeat. "We don't want to limit ourselves to Paris we want to develop globally he says "We've been looking at the export market for a while now, so things that had been difficult in Japan up to now have been incorporated without much resistance, and it feels like we've finally cleared a lot of things up. The reaction from Berlin, London and other places where we find a lot of culture that we like has been very positive, to we're very happy about that. Especially in Germany we feel a very powerful energy, so we are thinking about doing something special there.

FRIENDSHIP GROUP. Cee has a very close-knit group of girlfriends, and they are her core family. The first girl she met was Poppy who she shared a dormroom with in high school. Poppy and Cee were very much instant friends, although their relationship became more like sisters as they got older, as Poppy wasn't super into going out or getting drunk. She would look after Cee a lot. Poppy's best friend in high school was actually Mary Morstan. Cee and Mary got on fine in school but reunited for Poppy's wedding as they were both bridesmaids. Then Mary asked for Sherlock's help and met John Watson, her now husband, and the woman are very close now.
Cee met Chriselle at university in a group project when Cee was studying law, and Chris was studying business. When Chris set up her own model agency, Cee was her fist model. It was more of a gesture as Cee had pretty much retired by that point.
Sydney was working as a receptionist at French Vogue when Celia started working there. Also originally from London, Sydney moved back to England as Cee's personal assistant when Cee accepted the job as editor at British Vogue. After working for Cee for nearly ten years in New York and London, Syd left Vogue to start her own fashion line. Everyone but Chris still lives in London, and the group hang out as much as they can for working mothers, although Cee always complains it's not enough.

“I almost cried with laughter when I read the first script and then I met Keith-Lee Castle, who plays the Count and just looks like a rock star, and I knew it was going to be cool.” - Donna Grant (Magda)
Daily Record interview with Donna Grant (Magda) By Samantha Booth.
Sinister, calculating and scheming is how Scots actress Donna Grant describes her character in the BBC’s new kids’ show Young Dracula. In fact, vampire mum Magda sounds quite despicable - but that’s exactly why the 30-year-old actress from Inverness was so desperate to play her.
The mum-of-one said: “I just couldn’t resist playing her because she is such a fantastically nasty character. She is a vampire and like all vampires she thinks she is better than everyone but Magda really does take it to another level. She is just so brilliantly evil.
The show is about Count Dracula’s move to Britain with his two children after his wife, Magda, has run away with a werewolf. And in tonight’s episode Magda returns to her family - although I am not saying if they welcome her back or not because, not only is she not the best mother in the world, she also broke the Count’s heart.
"But he loves her for her evil - so in a way she can do no wrong.”
Donna was intrigued by the role of Magda from the minute she heard about it and as soon as the show’s producers set eyes on the Scot, the role was hers.
She said: “I think it was a combination of me getting into the part and because they thought I had the right look. They offered me the part on the spot.”
Since then Donna has been filming the show in the Brecon Beacons in Wales and has thoroughly enjoyed every minute if it. She said: “I almost cried with laughter when I read the first script and then I met Keith-Lee Castle, who plays the Count and just looks like a rock star, and I knew it was going to be cool”
"And it really has lived up to all of my expectations.
"The show has been great fun to film and some of my outfits have just been fantastic - I have a wedding bouquet with dead bird skulls in it.
"I know it is meant for children but I really think some adults will love it too.
"It is incredibly well written and because the whole Goth thing is pretty cool at the moment I think it could be a huge success.”
Growing up in Inverness with her mum and grandparents, Donna always wanted to act. She had an idyllic childhood, spending a lot of time out riding on her family’s horses, but when she left school as a teenager she was desperate to get out into the world and, in particular, she had her sights set on London.
She said: "I absolutely loved growing up in Inverness and, if I could, I would bring my own daughter Scarlet up in that way too – but I have to be in London just now for my work.
"But when I was 17 I was just desperate to get out and get started living and working. "I didn’t even want to go to university. I just wanted to get stuck right in.”
Luckily for Donna, some photographs she’d had taken by an Inverness photographer found their way into the hands of a London talent scout. The next thing Donna knew, she was being invited down to the city for a meeting with a top agency.
She said: “It was always acting I had wanted to do but modelling found me, so what could I do? The agency liked me and before I knew where I was, I had moved down to London and was thrown into this mad world of modelling.
"At the time it was the easy option but I quickly discovered it also meant I could make lots of money, travel and meet really interesting people so I wasn’t going to walk away from it in a hurry.” Donna did every kind of modelling, from catwalk to billboards.
She worked for a time in Japan and Germany, shot ads for Agent Provocateur and Baileys and appeared in several television commercials. BUT just because she was finding a certain level of success as a model, it didn’t mean Donna had forgotten her dream of becoming an actress.
And in 2001 she finally got her first acting job in a film called Is Harry On The Boat?, following the loves and lives of a group of young holiday reps in Ibiza and co-starring Danny Dyer and Davina Taylor.
Donna said: “It was brilliant fun to film and I’m still friends with a lot of the people I met out there in Ibiza.”
It wasn’t long until Donna found herself having to take time out from acting to have her baby daughter Scarlet, who is now three years old.
A bit of a rock chick at heart, she met Scarlet’s dad Chris McCormack, guitarist in hard rock outfit 3 Colours Red, when his band at the time, Grand Theft Audio, were supporting The Cult in concert at the Brixton Academy in London.
The pair had a whirlwind romance, married and had baby Scarlet. Donna said: “I have always been into my rock music and through modelling I did hang about with a lot of rock types at the time. So I was instantly attracted to Chris and we ended up having a whirlwind romance. Sadly, things just didn’t work out and we are now in the middle of divorce proceedings. But we really are still best friends.”
Donna now lives a much quieter life with Scarlet in north London and loves nothing better than the chance to return to Scotland to see her family and get out into the hills.
She said: “I love coming back up to Scotland and I am so excited because I just booked my tickets for Christmas so I’ll be spending the holidays at home.
"Drinking wine, eating lots of nice food and going for walks in the hills - it will just be wonderful. My life is a lot quieter now than it was a few years ago but that’s the way I like it. Where I live in London is a bit like a village so I do get the best of both worlds down there and I do like it, but nothing beats coming home.
However, I don’t think I would have settled down as well now if I hadn’t had my wild time when I was younger. It was a load of fun at the time and I met loads of amazing people. I even met some of my heroes, such as Joe Strummer from The Clash, although my most star-struck moment came when I met Chris Morris from Brass Eye. I really admire him and think he is so funny and clever but when I met him I just didn’t know what to say. I mean, because of my modelling, I am quite used to meeting famous people but when I came face to face with him all I could do was make a bit of a whimpering sound. I just thought that he is so witty and cutting he’s just going to chew me up and spit me out whatever I say. Can you imagine what he would have said to me if I had said I really liked his work? And I know I said I lead a quieter life now but my uncle has just opened up a new venue in Inverness called The Ironworks and we have Dirty Pretty Things playing there at New Year - so I might not be able to resist digging my rocker gear out once again. Especially as I will have my mum on hand to babysit.” A rock ‘n’ roll loving mum in rocker gear … Magda would be proud.

— whoa! EVANGELINE DUBOIS just stole my cab! not cool, but maybe they needed it more. they have lived in the city for 19 YEARS, working as an EDITOR-IN-CHIEF FOR VANITY FAIR. that can’t be easy, especially at only 37 YEARS OLD. some people say they can be a little bit CONTROLLING and DEMANDING, but I know them to be CREATIVE and SHARP. whatever. I guess I’ll catch the next cab. hope they like the ride back to MANHATTAN! —
basics
Full Name: Evangeline Dubois Nickname(s): Eva Age:Thirty-seven Height: 5′9″ Gender & Pronouns: Cis-female & she/her Orientation: Bisexual Hometown: Peillon, France Residential Area: Manhattan, New York Occupation: Editor-in-chief for Vanity Fair Relationship status: Single (not-yet-divorced)

bio
Born and raised in a small rural village in France, Evangeline always dreamed bigger than that. Whilst her parents worked as farmers, making sure that they had enuogh food on the table, Evangeline wished to be surrounded by the big city lights. She wanted to be surrounded by the people, she wanted to be seen, and she wanted to be in places where life never stopped.
A chance for that came one day when she was barely sixteen. during a class field trip to one of the nearby cities, Evangeline was spotted by an agent for one of the modelling agencies. There was something about the young girl that was so fascinating, something that drew people right into her, so the offer to get her modelling gigs was almost expected. After a lot of begging and reasoning with her parents, Evangeline was allowed to take on modelling whilst still studying.
Over the next two years, Evangeline's career blossomed. Whilst she wasn't tall enough for a career on the runway, she was great for photoshoots. She was thrilled to be doing it, happy that she could see Paris, London, and eventually New York. It was New York that she completely fell in love with, adoring the city that never slept. It was like day and night compared to the rural France, and Evangeline loved it.
The moment she got her high school degree, she was off to the USA. However, modelling wasn't enough for the young woman. She had come to absolutely love the fashion world, and she hated the fact that she was only showing it all off. She wanted to be in the middle of it, she wanted to be surrounded by it, so, when years later, an offer came to work for a magazine, she happily accepted it.
Smart and cunning, Evangeline learned how to climb the path to her dream career. Whilst she was often seen as just a pretty face, that opinion quickly changed whenever the people were confronted by Evangeline's quick wit and great intelligence. Over the years her modelling gigs concluded, and her career in fashion blossomed.
Nearly ten years ago, in the most unusual circumstances, Evangeline came across her future husband. He was her complete opposite, but somehow, they fit, falling hard and deep for one another. Whilst so many of their views, opinions and just about everything else clashed, when he proposed, Evangeline did not hesitate to say yes.
That didn't stop her from continuing on with her career. No matter how much she loved her husband, her career was her first love. Overtime was a natural thing for her, staying in the office until late nights or attending many galas was an absolutely common occurence. It helped her reach what she was after, living above everyone in the city that never slept and being the best.
Five years ago, Evangeline was offered the job as the editor in chief for Vanity Fair. She was still so young, still so seemingly inexperienced, but that didn't stop her from accepting the job. Even to this day, she loves the challenge, she loves knowing that she reached it through nothing but her hard work and talent, and she's keen to prove anyone who thinks less of her wrong.
With how demanding her job was on a regular basis, Evangeline refused to slow down with everything else. Whilst her and her husband clashed, she still felt the safest around him. He was the person she could always open up to - as much as she could, and he was the only person she could imagine having kids with.
Naturally, that was exactly what they tried for. However, as years went by, Evangeline couldn't get pregnant. Failure was not an option in the woman's eyes, so when the doctors told her that her chances of having children were close to zero, she refused to listen to them. It couldn't be true, not when everything else in her life was going so well.
And yet, Evangeline refused to reveal the news to her husband. It was a horrible mistake to make, however, the woman closed off, refusing to share just about anything with him, focusing completely on her work instead. It was the one thing that never let her down, even when her own body did, and she craved for that comfort.
As expected, this caused cracks in Evangeline's marriage. Whilst her career blossomed, her name becoming more and more recognizeable in the fashion world, her marriage suffered. Going home didn't feel as good as it used to, and sharing her bed with the man who she assumed resented her was the one thing she dreaded.
So when Evangeline asked for a divorce, it as a completely understandable for her and utterly shocking to her husband. Still, she refused to accept his begging, his requests to work on their marriage. It was heartbreaking, it hurt her in so many ways, but Evangeline stood her ground. She couldn't bring herself to admit to him why she was asking for a divorce, and instead, she simply focused on her career. After all, it was always there, always waiting for her, and it made her happy.

Arabella pt10- ICU
"hey" I said through my phone sounding quiet, this was something I never wanted to do but for the sake of the boys I'd do anything and everything to keep their jobs for them.
"hey, thought you never wanted to hear from me again, I'm sorry y/n" he spoke to me over the phone. "It's okay I'm over it now, so listen" I wasn't really but it had to be done. "all ears. Are you okay?" he asks sincerity lacing his voice "err not really. Matty's in hospital, In a coma, he needs to go to rehab, the guys were supposed to record their album and I'm supposed to be in Mexico right now."
"shit, look I appreciate you telling me. But why?" "Ross had an Idea, not one that was appreciated by George, but Adam and I thought it would probably be best." "riiiiight?" "umm, Ross thought that you could take Matty's place temporarily, Just to record the album, not go on tour or anything like that, Jamie said they can wait for that, just until Matty's better, and more inclined to perform, he can't right now he's temporarily unconcious"
"umm, Y/n, could you leave this with me I'll have to talk with people and have a think, can I get back to you by the end of the day"
"yeah, of course you can. Just have a long hard think about it, I've got to go to the hospital anyway."
"thanks y/n/n you were always the best at giving extended deadlines" he says with a chuckle, before hanging up.

Walking into Dr. Inverness' office, with the answer it was decided that we would all appreciate it if Matty went to rehab he couldn't go on the way he was. What we all had agreed on though was that he wouldn't go to a rehab service provided by the NHS he would go to a nice rehabilliation centre situated away from the UK and would get 1 to 1 care that was needed.
Knocking on the Doctors door earns me a "come in"
"ahh y/n l/n, nice of you to show your face have you got an answer for me?"
"I do and I don't" "I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that love." "we all want Matty to go to Rehab, but we don't want him to go to one provided by the NHS (no offence), you know because of the risks and all, that he won't get better, wont get the attention he deserves because of his case, but I was wondering if you could put me in touch with one of these types of services"
"Absolutely, I had a son go through the exact same thing we didn't want him to go through the NHS because I know what their like you know, So we decided to send him to this one, I think they might be exactly what you're looking for. It's here somewhere" He says digging through his things. Before pulling out a buisness card from his desk and sliding it over the table to me. I take it and slot it in my purse putting it away to call them later.
"Just one thing else, whatever you do, don't contact them until Matty's woken up because they will want to get him situated in their as soon as after the phone call"
"okay thank you, so much for the help. I'm gonna go see Matty now."

2 weeks Later
Laying in bed with my laptop and my phone out, at the moment I was skyping Alex we've been doing that a lot lately, trying to find space in the time difference and our busy days, alex with touring and Me with replying to emails about anything and everything, any modelling job I can take here in England not much at the moment but It's looking up it really is.
"Hows the job search going babe?"
"It's going not well, they're all in U.S. or europe I'm not suprised with London Fashion week just gone, Paris and New York fashion weeks coming up thats all modelling Agency's are looking for, and I can't particuallarly put anything up on twitter because it will spark suspicion and we're trying to keep the fans in the dark about Matty."
"how is he anyway?"
"he's good, one of the nurses said he should come round real soon, so it's looking real good, just worried that when I tell him about rehab and Jake coming on the album he's going to flip and run, just like he always does."
"mmh, hows things with Adam" Adam and I haven't spoke since we had that arguement out in my parents garden, if I had any news about anything revolving how Matty's doing or about the album I would either tell Ross or George and they would relay it to him, I hope so anyway.
"not good, we're still not talking to eachother. And I've said to George and Ross if he wants to talk he's going to be the one to apologise, he's the one that said all those hateful things about our best mate and it wasn't fair on Matty, we all deal with pain differently, that's just how he dealt with his."
"yeah, I get that 100% though, why should you be the one to apologise" Alex said before a ringing from my phone interrupted the next thing I was about to say.
Naturally I answered it.
"Hello?"
"hello, is this Y/n L/n?"
"speaking"
"your friend is awake, Matty Healy, could you come down here please"
"yes of course I can, I'll be there in about 10/15 minutes" I say hanging up.
"y/n?" alex says reminding me that he's still there, "is everything okay?"
"Mattys awake."

In a brief biographical sketch, the crime writer Christopher Fowler, who has died aged 69, claimed he had achieved several of his “pathetic schoolboy fantasies”: releasing an “appalling” Christmas pop single; working as a male model; posing as the villain in a Batman graphic novel; running a Soho night club; appearing in The Pan Book of Horror series; and standing in for James Bond. Rather than examples of Fowler’s wicked sense of humour, all these claims were true. Time Out, meanwhile, called him “an award-winning novelist who would make a good serial killer”.
He was best known for his Bryant & May thrillers, featuring the elderly, venerable detectives Arthur Bryant and John May, who head up the Peculiar Crimes Unit, a department of the London police set up during the second world war to investigate cases that might cause a national scandal or public unrest. The pair had made appearances in some of Fowler’s early novels – Rune (1990), Darkest Day (1993) and Soho Black (1998) – before breaking out into their own long-running series, starting with Full Dark House in 2003.
Bryant, an irascible technophobe, and May, more accepting of the ways of modern life, have been partners for more than 60 years, having first teamed up in 1940 when they were 23 and 19 respectively. The first novel begins with the death by explosion of Bryant; while May investigates, he discovers connections with the pair’s very first case, the killing of a dancer during the blitz, which is told in flashback.
The Gothic air and clashing personalities continued into sequels, each intended to explore a different sub-genre of crime fiction, described by Fowler as “all the devices of classic murder mysteries, including disguised identities, locked room puzzles, surprise ending and nick-of-time rescues”.
The intended one-off novel became six books, then 12 and eventually 20, including two collections of short stories. Central to the series – and many of his other works – was Fowler’s love of London. He found the city endlessly fascinating and delighted in discovering its odder corners and the strangeness of its inhabitants, past and present. “The most bizarre facts in this book are the truest,” he noted in the acknowledgments of The Water Room, the second in the series, published in 2004.
Fowler began writing books alongside a career in the film industry, having co-founded the film promotion agency the Creative Partnership while in his 20s. This gave him the freedom to write what he liked, which made him a publisher’s nightmare: the unclassifiable author. After producing two novels that failed to launch and publishing two humorous titles, How to Impersonate Famous People (1984) and The Ultimate Party Book (1985), Fowler sold two collections of horror stories – City Jitters (1986) and More City Jitters (1988) – to the publisher of his near-neighbour, the novelist and playwright Clive Barker.
He followed this with Roofworld (1988), an urban fantasy novel about battling gangs and secret occult societies who use zipwires and bungee cords to travel above the city – inspired by the interconnected rooftops of London’s densely packed streets and his knowledge of how burglars would break into buildings through the top floor.
Roofworld established some of Fowler’s common themes – warfare between classes, battling evil corporations, and secret worlds existing within touching distance of unsuspecting Londoners – and introduced recurring characters, including DS Janice Longbright, who later served in the Peculiar Crimes Unit.
The real myths and mysteries of London held more interest to him than the supernatural horror of his earlier novels, although that did not stop him writing disturbing and blackly humorous takes on old themes: Rune’s subliminal messages echo MR James’ Casting the Runes; in Red Bride (1992) an ordinary man is seduced by a succubus; and in Spanky (1994) the hero engages in a Faustian pact with a demon.
The family at the heart of Psychoville (1995) are driven out of the suburbs by its change-resistant middle-class community; Disturbia (1996) has its hero uncover the machinations of a secret society; Hell Train (2011) is a homage to Hammer Films; Nyctophobia (2014) is a haunted house story; Little Boy Found (2017, as LK Fox) a psychological thriller; and Hot Water (2022) a murder mystery.
Fowler’s influences included Mervyn Peake’s Gormenghast trilogy (which he called “powerful, black and funny”), John Dickson Carr’s The Hollow Man (“the ultimate in sleight-of-hand) and JG Ballard (“his ‘five minutes into the future’ books were startling in their prescience”), the latter strongly influencing The Sand Men (2015).
His short story Left Hand Drive was filmed in 1993, and The Master Builder was made into the TV movie Through the Eyes of a Killer (1992), with Tippi Hedren. He won five British Fantasy awards, including for Full Dark House. Other Bryant & May novels won prizes and he was awarded the 2015 Crime Writers’ Association Dagger in the Library award for his body of work. His memoir Paperboy (2009) won the inaugural Green Carnation award.
Fowler was born in Greenwich, south-east London, the son of Lilian (nee Upton), a legal secretary, and William Fowler, a glass-blower and designer of scientific instruments with whom Fowler had a troubled relationship. He grew up reading fantasy, horror and science fiction, graduating from Superman comics to Tolkien and Ballard in his teens.
He was educated at Colfe’s grammar school in Lee before enrolling to study art at Goldsmiths College in 1972, although he left to take up work as a copywriter in various advertising agencies. At the age of 26 he set up the Creative Partnership with the producer Jim Sturgeon to market films, becoming a one-stop shop producing trailers, posters and commercials for radio and TV.
The company worked on campaigns for Bernardo Bertolucci, Peter Greenaway, Ridley Scott, Quentin Tarantino, David Cronenberg, Mike Leigh and many others, on movies ranging from Alien – they were paid £20 for the line “In space no one can hear you scream” – and The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover, to GoldenEye and Reservoir Dogs.
The Creative Partnership opened an office in Beverley Hills and Fowler spent the early 80s in the US, but could find only badly paid, uncreative work. With time on his hands he began writing, finding success after returning to London. He was able to maintain a steady output, including a graphic novel (Menz Insana, 1997), a stage play (Celebrity, produced at the Phoenix, London, in 2010), and the War of the Worlds video game (2011) for Paramount.
He also wrote a 319-episode series of short essays on forgotten authors for the Independent on Sunday, partly collected as Invisible Ink (2012) and The Book of Forgotten Authors (2017). Essay 319 featured Christopher Fowler, described as “a typical example of the late 20th-century midlist author ... [whose] ability of turning his hand to most literary forms granted him the honorary title of ‘Wordslut’”.
Fowler was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in March 2020. He worked on his 20th Bryant & May novel, London Bridge is Falling Down (2021), while undergoing chemotherapy in hospital, and the following year published Bryant & May’s Peculiar London, in which his characters explore the true life eccentricities and elusive byways of the city. His third volume of memoirs, Word Monkey (following Paperboy and Film Freak, 2013), is due out in August.
Fowler formed a civil partnership in 2007 with the TV executive Peter Chapman, and 10 years later they married. Peter survives him, along with his younger brother, Steven.

American states are bailing out public transport
The alternative is fare rises and steep service cuts.
Sometimes, it turns out, protests work. On June 3rd, over a hundred San Franciscans mounted a mock funeral for public transport. Walking to city hall in the sun, they carried on their shoulders models of buses and trains like coffins, as musicians played a funeral dirge on trumpets and a saxophone. Their anger was over a proposal by Gavin Newsom, California’s governor, that would have cut $2bn of spending from public transport in an attempt to balance the state’s hefty deficit. MUNI[1], San Francisco’s local transport agency, had suggested it might have to remove the equivalent of 20 bus routes to stay solvent.
Within a week, a deal had been worked out by the state legislature. Assuming it passes (and Mr Newsom signs it), instead of cuts roughly $1.1bn a year will be made available to public transport, raised from the state’s emissions cap-and-trade scheme. California will thus stave off a problem afflicting public-transport systems across America: that of a fiscal cliff, as federal covid-relief money dries up. The Golden State is not alone in creating a financial parachute. In May New York legislators agreed a budget with over $1bn of new funding for the Metropolitan Transit Authority[2], New York City’s system. Minnesota has also introduced a new sales tax to raise $450m a year for the system in Minneapolis and St Paul.
Compared with other countries, public-transport use in America has been slow to recover from the pandemic. The number of bus and train passengers in May was still at only 69% of the pre-pandemic level, according to data from the American Public Transportation Association[3], an industry group. In May New York’s subway was carrying a mere 71% of the passenger total in 2019. Ridership on BART[4], in the San Francisco Bay Area, was at just 37% of the 2019 figure. In London in May, travel on the Underground system was already back to around 87% of pre-pandemic levels.
If it persists, lower ridership means less revenue from fares. For example, the ticket take on the Chicago Transit Authority[5] was almost $300m lower last year than in 2019. Awkwardly, those agencies which were considered to be doing the best job pre-pandemic—because they raised lots of fare revenue, and so were subsidised less—are now the ones most in trouble, notes Yonah Freemark of the Urban Institute, a think-tank in Washington, DC.
In 2008, when the Great Recession created similar deficits, the result was often steep service cuts and fare rises. That could happen again. “We have some very serious fiscal challenges,” admits Leanne Redden, the director of Chicago’s Regional Transportation Authority, an umbrella agency for the region’s three transport agencies. She projects a $730m deficit by 2026. The transport systems of Boston and Philadelphia also face funding shortfalls that have yet to be tackled. Seattle’s has already announced cuts.
Yet even if states put up money, other changes will be needed to encourage ridership. Rising crime and disorder have kept some passengers off the subway in New York, says Nicole Gelinas of the Manhattan Institute[6], a think-tank. In Los Angeles, where homelessness has become an extreme problem, 22 people died in the year to March on buses and trains, most from drug overdoses. Crime also makes holding onto employees trickier, says Kam Buckner, a state representative in Illinois. Drivers he knows “have walked away because they don’t feel safe”. Staff shortages mean service is already shoddier even as the money still flows.
Yet good public transport is needed in America’s cities more than ever. Ted Egan, the chief economist of San Francisco, says the city’s economy will struggle to recover without it. “You can’t have everyone drive in,” he says. Without decent buses and trains, building more housing while lessening punishing congestion will be tricky. Yet the benefits, while immense, are also diffuse. By contrast, cliffs, fiscal or otherwise, are difficult to miss.■

"Rachel Chandler, a professional photographer and modeling agent, was reportedly involved in the casting process for Balenciaga. Chandler is being scrutinized online for her alleged links to Jeffrey Epstein.
The speculation comes amid the scandal surrounding Balenciaga's recent controversial ad. The luxury fashion house landed in hot water for its gift collection campaign that featured children posing with plush bear purses wearing outfits based on themes of b*ndage.
The company also faced backlash over its Spring 2023 campaign ad that consisted of a photo featuring printouts of a 2008 Supreme Court ruling on child p*rnography.
Amid the ongoing controversy, British influencer Oli London has claimed that the brand deliberately designed the campaign and is "deeply involved in child abuse and exploitation." London has been quite vocal in condemning Balenciaga's campaign.London has also asked their followers to research about Balenciaga's association with Rachel Chandler. They further opened up about a theory on the latter's alleged connection to Epstein while speaking to GBN Live:
“In 2016, one of the people who recruited all of the models for Balenciaga’s runway show was a woman called Rachel Chandler who has been on Jeffrey Epstein’s island. She has even posted the picture on Instagram of CCTV footage back in 2013, bragging about being on an island.”
They further added:
“If you look at her modeling agency every single one of the models looks like a trafficking victim. You can see they’ve got very dark circles under the eye and people need to research that.”
While Chandler is the co-founder of the Midland modeling agency, which lists Balenciaga as one of its clients, there is no official account of the former's connection to Epstein.
Chandler previously went viral over an old photo with former US president Bill Clinton. Several conspiracy theorists claimed the photo was allegedly taken on Epstein's private plane while on their way to the latter's infamous island.

Who remembers Rachel Chandler? Think #Epstein Island…..
Coincidence that she also recruited models for #Balenciaga?
I don’t believe in coincidence. #grooming
However, no official confirmation about the photograph's actual location has been made available to the public.
Rachel Chandler's modeling agency represents renowned clients
Rachel Chandler is a professional photographer and modeling agent from Los Angeles. She reportedly moved to New York to study History of Art at Gallatin School and eventually started interning for arts organizations and photographers, including Patrick Demarchelier.
According to her official bio, Chandler provides an "intimate portrayal of the social and creative scene in which she works, lives and operates in" through her work. She reportedly began serving as a photographer for Purple Diary after meeting editor Olivier Zahm through mutual friends.
She has also been a contributing photographer for Industrie online and Vogue. Chandler also founded the New York-based Midland Agency with Walter Pearce in September 2016.
The modeling agency focuses on casting and management and represents a large group of models. Some of their clients include brands like Gucci, Marni, Fenty, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Zara, Gap, Comme Des Garcons, Telfar, and Jason Wu.
Twitter shares theories about Rachel Chandler's alleged Epstein connection

Balenciaga continues to face outrage on social media over its latest controversial ad campaign featuring children. Photographer Rachel Chandler's association with the brand and alleged connection to Jeffrey Epstein has also gone viral online.
In an old interview with Vice's i-D Magazine, Chandler claimed that she helped curate the lineup for Balenciaga Creative Director Demna Gvsalia's fall/winter 2016 Balenciaga show.
“The casting director was a friend of a friend and he needed help," she said at the time. "I suggested a few people for them and they ended up taking all of my suggestions! So I thought, ‘Ok, I must be good at this.’”
Chandler was later identified in a photo where she was seen posing with Bill Clinton inside an airplane.
According to fact-checking site Snopes, the picture first surfaced online in 2006. It was originally shared with a caption that suggested Clinton was posing with a 19-year-old college student inside billionaire venture capitalist Ron Burkle's private plane.
Several years later, conspiracy theorists claimed that Clinton and Chandler's photo was from Epstein's "Lolita Express" private plane. As the theory has resurfaced online amid Balenciaga's ad campaign controversy, several social media users have taken to Twitter to share their theories about Chandler.
@OliLondonTV
You want to see how deep and dark Balenciaga’s abuse of kids goes?
She is a model agent, provides a lot of models for brand. All models in her agency look like Trafficking Victims. She was on Epstein Island she even posted CCTV pic from Island
If they think Balenciaga is bad:
Wait until they hear about Rachel Chandler, Les Wexner and the modeling industry's deep ties to Epstein Island.
"I had a feeling there would be a Rachel Chandler-Balenciaga connection and there it is!🏻The models at Balenciaga and Midland, a “modeling & casting agency” founded by Chandler, look abused and like real trafficking victims!"
Rachel Chandler and Balenciaga connected - wow!!
Great find - thanks @Shorty56167141 twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
The photography agency behind the Valenciaga shoot is run by Rachel Chandler a Jeffrey Epstein assistant. You've seen her photo taken on Epstein's Lolita Express with Bill Clinton. twitter.com/PowerOurPeople…
Balenciaga, Rachel Chandler… On the flight logs for Epstein Island. Did everyone who went to Epstein Island participate in Child Trafficking? I would assume not and certainly hope not. It is grounds for reasonable suspicion. What I can say, is the model woman, probably in on it.
While theories continue to pour in online, it is to be noted that Rachel Chandler has never been involved in any legal proceedings related to Epstein, who was convicted of child trafficking. Reports suggest that Chandler has also never been charged with any crime herself.
Although Clinton reportedly flew in Epstein's private plane in the past, his spokesperson has previously denied that his photo with Rachel Chandler was taken inside Lolita Express. The latter has also never publicly confirmed or denied rumors about the photograph."
We've talked about Rachel Chandler before, haven't we @gatorfisch

(—) ★ spotted!! london eaton on the cover of this week’s most recent tabloid! many say that the 36 # year old looks like adrianna lima, but i don’t really see it. while the socialite/model/businesswoman/reality star is known for being sociable my inside sources say that they have a tendency to be secretive i swear, every time i think of them, i hear do ya think i'm sexy- paris hilton { she/her / cisfemale } - penned by laiceeee again.
london eaton was known as one of the biggest heiresses in the world, most famously for eaton hotels, one of the fanciest hotel branches in the world. but not only that, her father, richard eaton is the charman and cofounder of eastwood & eaton, a huge real estate brokerage based in beverly hills. london has never had to worry for a single second of her life about money. everything she wanted was right at her fingertips.
london had modelled on and off all throughout her childhood and teen years. as she became older, it became far more clear that she was a party girl, and was even dubbed ‘new york’s leading it girl’ in 2001. however london’s media ateention shot up after her release of a sex tape in 2003. she made it with her ex boyfriend who decided to market and profit off the video, earning millions in sales. at first london had been mortified, and filed a law suit. one she one and earned 400k in compensation. but after a while, london decided. to stop being embarrassed by this scandal and instead harbor the energy into making a bigger career for herself, after all she’d never had more media attention before.
three weeks after the video, london teamed up with one of her closest friends and created a reality show called a simpler life. and although many told her that her sex tape scandal would ruin her and alienate ratings and cause no one to ever watch, the rating sky rocketed and the show was a huge success. and not too long after she was approached by multiple modelling agencies to shoot a huge worldwide campaign.
soon london’s life was booked up. she had perfume lines, came out with a nightclub franchise, and was guest starred in multiple big star shows and films. after a while, it became clear that london was growing apart from her close friend she did a simpler life with and decided to call it quits. although not without thousands and thousands of media articles speculating what had happened with that friendship.
in all this time, her partying had never settled down. she was still very much a top party girl. always seen out at clubs and getting into trouble. this lifestyle was what eventually led to her arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. she was only meant to do 45 days but it was reduced to 23- after all even the american justice system could be easily bought if you were rich enough.
although london seemed to have the perfect life, no one knew the dark horrors that were happening behind closed doors. when she was still a teen, her parents sent her to the troubled teen industry. one that had her fake kidnapped in the middle of the night, heavily medicated, sleep deprived and she faced a lot of abuse. one that took her a long time to speak out on. she ended up speaking out on it in 2020, becoming one of the lead voices in an effort to shut it down. even to this day she still has nightmares that haunt her over everything that happened in that place.
eventually london settled down, didn’t lead such an insane lifestyle anymore, although she still wouldn’t say no to a good party. she likes to be a voice now for the younger generation, showing that the dumb, ditzy 20 year old they saw on the screens before was a character. although parts were true, she held more intelligence than anyone could have ever known. after all she marketed herself so well, earned millions just to party and invented the first ever selfie.
wanted connections
THE NICOLE RICHE TO HER PARIS HILTON- her bestest of best friends for so long until it all turned sour and they had an on again/off again feud. she screened london’s sex tape at a party and london was betrayed and hurt beyond belief.
HER FIRST ENGAGEMENT- they were young, dumb and thought they wanted to be together forever. however they were only together for a year. it wasn’t anything serious that broke them up and they still remained really good friends.
HER SECOND ENGAGEMENT- he was a young heir to her heiress, however they soon realised that they were only really doing it because their parents approved and they had no real intention of ever living happily ever after.
HER THIRD ENGAGEMENT- she cheated on him and broke his heart, but really what did he expect dating such a wild party girl? she also refused to give the ring back.
HER FOURTH ENGAGMENT- and possibly her most heartbreaking one. the father to her daughter evangeline, who’s now four. she thought it was a whirlwind romance one that she’d finally found her happily ever after. only to wake up one morning and see that he was gone, left on the table was a letter saying he couldn’t do this anymore. she was heartbroken and alone with a baby.
ANY PARTY FRIENDS- this girl would’ve met a lot of people on the party scene
INDUSTRY FRIENDS- from other reality shows or who could’ve appeared on her reality shows
ANY EXES- that didn’t end in an engagement whoops.
CURRENT HOOK UPS- the woman has needs

You have been living with your partner since before the two of you started dating. He came to live with you after you put one of the rooms in your house to rent, in search of a roommate to spice things up in your life, and spice things up he did, in more ways than one.
See, even before he asked you on a date, on the first month of his stay, you caught him sneaking out one full moon night, barely getting to the back of the property before turning into a werewolf. No biggie, you had stranger roommates in the past. Your last one was a kitsune passing as a aspiring model. You still can't help but smile whenever you see her in the cover of a fashion magazine. Girl moved out after an agency scouted her and it was a meteoric rise for her career since. It's rare, but you still occasionally meet her in one of the fancy cafe in town when she is around to catch up.
Back at the matter at hand, however, you wondered what your partner would be doing the following day, once the transformation wore off. Poor guy must have had a hard time with past landlords, as he tries his best to cover up for the fact that he is a werewolf. Thing is, he isn't too good at it, at least at home. Hell, he just got a beef slab into his plate and seems to intend to eat it raw.
"Isn't that a tad undercooked?" You ask before taking a sip of your coffee.
"It's, uh... The doctor recommended I eat it like that. Because of my anemic symptoms. Yeah..." He responds.
Sure, he seems rather thin and sick, but you know it's because of his lycanthropy. Still, seeing him try his best to cover that up like a puppy trying to hide the shoes they just chewed makes you just want to steal his name, his soul, his everything.
Except that you haven't done that kind of thing since the Renaissance. It kinda got boring after the third century of pulling that out. Seriously, with so many tales about the fae going around, you swear it would have made it a challenge at some point, but no, it has always been stupidly easy. It's rare to even find one sceptical enough to not fall for it right away, let alone someone good enough to engage in the mind games. Hell, last one was one of the princes of hell going on a day off at London! That has been centuries ago! Is it because you are a changeling that makes it so easy?
A fae child raised by human parents after their child got replaced by you in the middle ages. You feel bad for mom and pop, but you also loved them dearly, as well as your siblings. It was a shock to you when a fellow fae approached you and told you the truth during a hunting trip. It turned your world upside down so hard that you ended up in the faewilds before you even noticed. You spent just a single day there before returning home, just to find out a whole decade had passed. At least you could meet up with your adoptive parents again before they passed...
Your trip down to the memory lane is cut short as your boy friend starts gnawing on the beef, taking you back to reality. You look at him for a moment, then at the nearby calendar. Full moon week, that checks out.
"Wouldn't it be better to use some actual cutlery?" You ask as you move to pick up a fork and a knife for him.
"I couldn't find any?" He responds sheepishly.
"You need to pay more attention to where I store them." You respond amusedly as you open the cutlery drawer to get what was needed. "I didn't inherit them with the rest of my parent's state for it to go unused." You add while bringing them to your partner, still playing dumb.
That's the story you came up with for the last century to justify your wealth, which came from investing in the right things at the right time. It's enough to live extravagantly, but that kind of lifestyle gets lonely fast, so you just downplay how much you really have. Luckily, the bank holding your money is owned by an old vampire acquaintance of yours, so it's easy to keep things discreet. Advantages of such a long life, you make connections.
"So, wanna go out tonight? That barbecue restaurant opened recently and I have been dying to try it out. It seems to be a Brazilian style one." You ask as your boyfriend is chewing, almost getting him to choke on that piece of meat.
"I-I can't, will be working late this week." He stammers after recovering.
"Aw, another busy week?" You pout. You know damn well he is lying and why, but you like seeing him squirm trying to cover up. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you are cheating on me."
You know almost immediately you pushed it too far as your boyfriend looks down at his plate. Shit, that's an amateur mistake.
"Hey, now. I'm not implying you'd do such a thing." You rush to his side placing an arm around his back to try and comfort him. "Sorry, I was out of line, love." You add, trying to do some damage control as he covers his face with his hands, starting to cry. The guilt of hiding what he truly is from you must be eating him up.
You pull him closer, and he just clings to your clothes as he sobs onto your shoulder. You debate with yourself what to do next in the meantime. It's amusing to see him struggle, but seeing him this upset is not fun. Not at all. It isn't for a stranger, and much less for your partner.
Taking a deep breath, you decide it's time to rip off the proverbial band-aid. "I already know." You say, making him freeze in place. "I already know what you do on the nights of full moon. Knew since the day you first sneak out after coming to live here." You admit while rubbing his back. "I don't care about what you are, love. You don't need to hide it from me anymore."
And, just like that, the dam breaks. He can't contain himself any longer, so he just wails on your shoulder. You two will need to have a serious talk later over the whole ordeal, lay it all down on the table, but you rather lose this little bit of amusement over losing your partner. After all, you know you will outlive him, so every moment you spend together is worth more to you than your entire fortune, and you are not going to give it up just for some giggles.
Your partner is trying to hide their nonhuman nature. You figured it out months ago but play along because you find their antics amusing.
