ophelia’s relationship with jack

━━━ ❛ are we datin’? are we fuckin’? are we best friends?

ꪆ୧ BASICS !

how did they meet? jack and ophelia met in March of 2023 when Ophelia and her childhood friend Amber went to a club in New Jersey, the two girls were visiting Ophelia's brother Curtis and his family when they first moved into their new home after the trade. The two girls – ever the party girls - decided to check out a club nearby. Jack was leaning against the bar talking to a few of his friends when he glanced at the dance floor, he took a double take when he saw her dancing. After some encouraging words by his friends, he finally got the courage and went up to her, dancing with her for a little before offering to buy her a drink.

their first impressions?

ophelia's first impression of Jack was that she liked his boldness, and his smile. She had felt his stare on her as she danced with her friends and she had motioned him over with his eyes, fully expecting him not to come but he did. He joined her on the dance floor where they danced together for a little before jack offered to buy her a drink. They had some small talk, neither of them really telling each other much about themselves but what ophelia did learn about him made her like him more, he was very carefree and sweet but the perfect amount of flirty and she loved it. She was used to flirting with boys – and girls, and being fine with not seeing them again, but this time was different. She found herself thinking of him for weeks after, her imagination running wild as she would often think about what would happen between them that night if she wasn't dragged away.

jack was in awe as he watched her dance, the way she moved her hips, the way her hair moved with her, how good her legs looked in that skirt she was wearing – she was stunning. But what really got him was her eyes, the look she had in them as they made eye contact across the dance floor. She had an alluring presence and he found himself stuck in a hypnotic gaze as he watched her. He liked the confidence that seemed to follow her, and the way she would get him all flustered by her flirting, he wasn't used to being the flustered one. She left a strong first impression on him, because she was all he could think about for weeks after, he hated that she was dragged off before they could trade numbers and he feared that was the last time he would ever see her.

who confessed their feelings first? jack was the one to confess his feelings first, the two of them had been in their situationship for a few months and it was starting to get to him. It was clear to him, there was no denying it, Jack had feelings for ophelia and he couldn't hide it anymore, it didn't feel fair to continue their ‘friends with benefits’ agreement when he knew he had feelings for her. He couldn't hold it in anymore and confessed to her, it didn't end well, and she ended up leaving his apartment and they didn't talk for two weeks. Jack tried to reach out many times, but ophelia ignored him and his advances – not ready to face her feelings.

first date?

surprisingly it was ophelia to ask him out on a date. In those two weeks she did a lot of thinking, and she realized that she really does care about jack, and that she didn't want to be afraid of commitment anymore. Jack made her feel things no one else did and she didn't want to lose something so special, she didn't want to lose him. So, she surprised him at his apartment on a day she knew he had off (she asked Luke). Jack was surprised to see her outside of his apartment and he was even more surprised when she asked him out on a date. He tried to play hard to get (he was freaking out inside and had to stop himself from saying yes immediately) and she had to do a little groveling. But he did end up saying yes because God he really wanted to go on that date with her.

ophelia picked him up for the surprise date, the drive was filled with them listening to music and him constantly asking her where they were going because he still didn't know, and it was driving him crazy. But he was happily surprised when she pulled into a top golf place. ophelia knew nothing about golf but she knew that Jack loved it and she wanted to try it with him. The date went perfectly, they ate, laughed, smiled and shared a few kisses and touches between it all. She could see that jack was having a great time teaching her how to play, even doing that cliché back hug, he said he wanted to fix her form but they both knew it was just because he wanted to be close to her. Jack ended up driving them back to her place where they spent the rest of their night in her bed. A perfect first date they both would say.

first kiss? ophelia and jack shared their first kiss the night they met. They were on the dance floor dancing together, already a few drinks in. Jack had his hands on her waist (basically her ass) and her arms were wrapped around his shoulders as they danced along to the loud music. It was like it was in slow motion, their noses brushed against each other as they kept eye contact, and before they both knew it they were kissing in the middle of the dance floor.

who asked who? jack had asked her to be his girlfriend as they were in the elevator leading to her apartment floor ‘so does this make you my girlfriend now?’ ophelia had said yes and jack smiled and followed after her as she unlocked the front door, breaking out into a fit of google of surprise when jack picks her up bridal style, she had asked him what he was doing and he said “carrying MY GIRLFRIEND into her apartment”

first I love you? jack was the one to say I love you first. They were laying in Jack's bed cuddling, after some adult activities. Jack was overwhelmed with the feeling of love towards her as he held her in his arms while she softly caressed his chest. The moment was sweet and a part of him was nervous to say it, but the other part just wanted to tell her how much he truly loves and cares for her. So, he quietly confessed. He became scared when he felt her completely go still in his arms, pausing her soft touches on his chest. He was opening his mouth to apologize after a few moments of silence but ophelia cut him off by saying it back. Ophelia smiled when Jack let out a happy giggle before leaning down to place a bunch of kisses all over her face as he said the three words over and over.

how did everyone find out?

family + friends:

ophelia’s parents knew that she was seeing someone, but they didn't know who. Jack and ophelia wanted to hide their relationship until they were ready to tell everyone but that didn't go to plan when Curtis decided to hold a team dinner at his home. It went smoothly until everyone was getting ready to leave, jack pulled ophelia off to a vacant part of the house wanting to say goodbye to her alone. Curtis with the help of nico made his way to the garage to grab a few things but they stopped in their tracks when they saw jack and ophelia kissing. Curtis’s reaction obviously didn't go well, and Nico walked Jack out so things wouldn't accelerate badly. Word was quickly spread about it to her parents and other siblings.

jack had also told his parents that he was seeing someone and that they weren't ready for everyone to know. Luke knew about them from the beginning, jack told him about the mystery girl from the club and he put two and two together by the way jack looked at ophelia when curtis introduced her to everyone, jack confirmed luke’s suspicions when he whispered frantically to him that ophelia was the girl from the club. Luke was the one to tell quinn about ophelia, calling and asking him to come visit because jack refused to leave his room after Curtis's bad reaction to him and ophelia. Jack told his parents after things got better!

some of their closest friends knew since the beginning. For ophelia her best friends, amber, seunghan, kat, and intak. For jack, trevor, cole and alex knew from the beginning. But for the rest of their friends, they just slowly found out as they revealed themselves. Well Jack's teammates (the ones who were still at the dinner) found out there while the others (who weren't there) found out over the past few days after the incident.

the public: the public found out when pictures/videos of the couple were taken of them at the family skate at the stadium series. The pictures/videos soon went viral and after the game ophelia posted a picture of her and jack kissing on her instagram story, the caption being: my smiley ❤. jack reposted the story on his saying: my girl ❤

ꪆ୧ BACKGROUND !

ophelia and jack were in a friends with benefits relationship for 3 months before jack confessed his feelings for her while they laid in his bed after having sex. Ophelia didn't take it well and she left, scared to admit her feelings. They didn't talk for two weeks.

they kept their relationship a secret for 2 months. On november 6th, curtis and nico found them kissing in the garage, when curtis invited the team to his place for dinner.

curtis was not happy and walked jack out of the home before things accelerated. In a moment of anger curtis gave her an ultimatum ‘him or me’, ophelia left and didn't talk to either jack or curtis for a week.

ophelia was so upset by the ultimatum that she didn't know what to say to jack, and jack felt guilty that he caused this argument between phia and her brother that he didn't know what to say to ophelia since he blamed himself.

But luke was tired of jack being locked up in his room all depressed, so he called quinn had him come visit and talk some sense into jack.

while quinn was talking to jack, curtis came to see ophelia where he apologized for the way he reacted and that all he wants is for her to be happy, and if she's happy with jack then he supports it.

curtis was just scared that his sister would get hurt, he didn't necessarily believe jack would hurt her but he still had that fear. He was there to help her get through her last breakup and he hated seeing how heartbroken she was, he just didn't want her to get hurt again, so his fear made him react poorly, and he regretted it as soon as that ultimatum left his mouth.

later in the day jack showed up at her apartment with her favorite meal, they ate and talked about everything that happened. they ended their night cuddling in Phia's bed.

ophelia and jack's relationship is exposed to the media on february 16th, when videos and pictures of them at the njd’s family skate go viral.

ꪆ୧ FUN FACTS !

before curtis found out about them he had suspicions that ophelia was seeing someone, so he tried to enlist the team in trying to help him figure out who it is, the team turned into a bunch of amateur detectives trying to figure out who it is, and poor jack was just panicking the whole time. Luke enjoyed every minute of it because he knew the whole time.

jack pretends to hate it, but he really loves it when ophelia ‘forces’ him to join herself care nights (face masks, bubble baths, meditating etc.)

jack always tries to make it to every single one of her performances, and if he can't he watches them on his phone. He also always gets a copy modeling picture. He could watch her dance and model for hours.

jack is very clingy/touchy with ophelia always touching her in some way, something their friends, teammates and family like to tease him about.

one of ophelia’s favorite movies is hotel Transylvania, so jack got ophelia a necklace with the letter z for ‘zing’ . . . she almost cried when he gave it to her.

while they were dating without the public knowing about them, Ophelia's fans started getting suspicious that she was seeing someone. they would see clothes and things in the background of her vlogs that they knew didn't belong to her best friend and roommate, seunghan. Out of all of her siblings she's definitely closest to her eldest brother curtis, they have shared a special bond ever since he held her for the first time. He’s always had this strong sense of protectiveness over her as he's the oldest and she's the youngest. He always did his best to go to every single one of her soccer matches or her ballet recitals and he was always the one to stay up late listening to all her fashion ideas and to give her his opinion on her fashion designs. He takes pride in being her biggest fan. He hates how she lives alone in Manhattan, so he's always trying to convince her to move in with them. He will always see her as his baby sister, no matter how old she is. They are very playful and teasing towards each other, curtis loves to mess with her, messing up her hair and calling her spoiled.

Reanne and ophelia have an amazing relationship, normally ophelia was usually hesitant to become close with her siblings partners, but with Reanne it happened so naturally she couldn't really stop it. Reanne is like a proper older sister to ophelia, she's very motherly towards her as well, always making her favorite meals when she comes to visit them and pampering her. Ophelia is very grateful to have such a sweet and caring sister in law. They often have their own girl nights, curled up on the couch with some sweets and wine as they watch rom-coms all night. She was full on ugly crying when she held them both for the first time. She tries to spend as much time as she can with them, she loves babysitting them!! There is no denying that they are her little babies, and Reanne and Curtis are so thankful for her and how good she is with them, she is the best babysitter.

scent: she uses a lot of different perfumes, she loves trying out new ones so her collection is pretty big, so perfume wise it's never really the same. She uses rose or coconut body wash and shampoo and conditioner. She likes using the same body products, not really changing up with that.

outfits: she is very confident and comfortable with herself so she tends to wear more revealing clothes, mini skirts, short dresses, low rise anything, cropped shirts, sweaters and vests, tight off the shoulder tops. But she loves all different styles and she loves trying them out, but those are just some of her main pieces of clothing. She really loves wearing low rise jeans or dress pants with midriff tops. When it's colder she loves layering clothes. Or when she just doesn't feel like getting all dressed up she’ll throw on a short skirt and sweater or some jeans and a top. She has all different kinds of shoes, all different types of boots (cowboy, moto boots, platform chunky boots and more) chunky or platform mary janes, sneakers, heels, she loves them all! She's a big lover of steve madden shoes.

accessories: she loves accessorizing, she loves anything involving fashion really!! She has a large collection of different types of bags and sunglasses(she loves collecting them), they are definitely her favorite thing + jewelry, to accessorize with. She also has quite a lot of hats, mostly ball caps, beanies and berets. She also really loves utilizing long and thin scarves when she's wearing a short skirt or shorts. She also occasionally will wear a headband, heavily inspired by Blair waldorf. In the colder weather she's almost always rocking ear muffs. She absolutely loves wearing bayonetta glasses, she has so many pairs. Honorable mentions are leg and arm warmers.

jewelry: ophelia loves jewelry, she's always wearing some! She loves rings, she usually has about four on at a time, small ones, chunky ones, one with crystals or gems, any type of rings really. One ring she is always wearing is a ring that was gifted by her siblings for getting into juilliard. It's a gold band with a mood stone in the middle. She loves layering necklaces. She also occasionally wears anklets and waist chains, it really depends on her outfit. With bracelets she wears all different types, charm bracelets, friendship bracelets, cuff bracelets, again it really depends on her outfit.

makeup: she's a black eyeliner enthusiast, she doesn't really use foundation, maybe some concealer but that's really it. She loves matching her lip liners with lipsticks/gloss, and loves some highlighter. But she normally just has eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow and her lips done! (it's different when she has her recitals and her shoots)

ꪆ୧ BACKGROUND !

Ophelia was born on a bright and sunny day that matched perfectly with her energetic personality. She became the youngest of the lazar clan, aka their baby.

Ophelia was a very energetic and sweet child, she was like a busy bee, and was given the nickname “the wild child” by her family.

Ophelia started ballet when she was four, her parents and teachers were quick to notice how talented she was at it despite her age.

She played soccer from age 8 to 11, and she loved the sport, but after she got an injury to her ankle she had to stop playing because she loved ballet more, and she couldn't risk not being able to dance again.

When she started soccer, she met her best friend amber jameson who was on her team, they became inseparable since then.

Amber goes to NYU, majoring in computer science.

She was 12 when she realized that she loved fashion design when she was helping her middle school play with costumes. Curtis noticed her new passion and bought her some supplies for her upcoming birthday.

Her modeling career started as just her getting pictures taken for her ballet portfolio, and the photographer brought up her modeling for other things professionally. And it just kicked off from there.

Over the years her modeling career just got better, ophelia modeling for high end brands, she was becoming very sought after. She even walked the catwalk for fashion week when she was 17, 19 and 20 and many other fashion shows throughout the years.

She gains a large amount of following on social media for her ballet and modeling. Getting several million followers on her tiktok.

She got accepted into julliard and moved to Manhattan where she lives alone in her loft/apartment.

She is a dance major but also takes fashion designing classes.

Was given the nickname “the next model it girl” and is known as one of the most talented and promising ballerinas in the country.

Has been in many ballet magazines, for modeling and having her own features/interviews

Started her youtube channel in 2019, and she now has over 5 million subscribers. (she posts a whole bunch of different content)

ꪆ୧ FUN FACTS !

when ophelia was 14 she went to south korea for a ballet summer intensive program, she stayed with a sweet and welcoming family. Their eldest son Seunghan, who also went to the ballet training camp, quickly became one of ophelia’s best friends.

He is one year older than ophelia and also attends juilliard with her as a dance major, they are each other's main partners, and they are roommates!

seunghan’s younger brother is park sunghoon from the popular kpop group enhypen, ophelia has a great close relationship with him, and she's not aware of the small crush he has on her.

when ophelia was 16 she was on Jimmy Fallon, where she talked about her ballet and modeling.

ophelia got in her first relationship when she was 18, his name is Ryan James and he is a fellow model, they met at london’s fashion week. He is almost two years older than her.

they started dating in may 2020 and dated until april 2022, they broke up at her birthday party when Ophelia looked at his phone and saw that he had been cheating on her for months, using her for clout and money.

ophelia was absolutely heartbroken, she had to put on a brave front infront of her family and friends for the rest of her birthday, making up some excuse on why Ryan had to leave.

the last 6 months of their relationship wasn't the best, he was bossy, controlling, insensitive, but she was blinded by the idea of being in love with him and being loved back.

that breakup was very hard on her and shattered her trust completely in relationships. So ever since then she swore of relationships, sticking to hookups (safely ofc)

shes known as quite the wild child and party girl.

a lot of people talk about her eyes and how captivating and alluring they are, when she dances and models. She loves holding eye contact and seeing how flustered the other person gets.

seunghan and ophelia are always getting asked if they are dating because of how close they are, but they are just each other's platonic soulmates.

ophelia loves going out and partying with her friends, but she also loves just being able to relax at home watching movies in the living room or playing board games.

ophelia is an amazing cook, she loves learning how to make different cultural foods

ophelia and seunghan have a podcast called ‘on pointe podcast’

seunghan and amber are always on ophelia's youtube channel.

ophelia is one of the top students in her fashion design classes, she wants to create her own fashion line in the future.

ophelia loves traveling!!

has an addiction to thrift shopping

she absolutely loves living in Manhattan, she loves all the friends she has made at juilliard and the life she is making for herself.

she has a reputation at juilliard for being ‘popular’ and a ‘party girl’ many have said she looks intimidating to approach, but she is really friendly and is a social butterfly.

seunghan is her alarm clock (she has a terrible sleep schedule)

she loves video games, and she's really good at them too!

she has over 10 million followers on tiktok

she spends an ungodly amount of time in the practice room

has had her fair share of enemies in ballet because they are jealous of her always getting the lead parts, and the way she's favored by the ballet masters (instructors/teachers)

her dream is to become one of the best ballet dancers of her generation and ever.

ophelia has a very flirty personality, she loves making people flustered.

she has a very fun and playful personality, but she's very serious about her work and passions.

she gets invited to a lot of different events and gets sent a lot of PR packages!

swears she doesn't, but she has an addiction to shopping.

her nickname ‘mini natalia’ , which was given to her by the ballet masters, means a lot to her. They call her that because they can see that she's very talented and dances very similar to the greats, natalia makarova and natalia osipova, two of ophelia's greatest role models.

she’s very serious about her love for ballet and ways to improve. Many other ballet students have mentioned how intimidating she can be since she's always striving to be the best.

really wants to get a pet cat!

she is very talented in all different types of dancing, and she's trained in gymnastics.

she absolutely loves yoga and Pilates (loves forcing seunghan and jack to go with her)

Her baby is her car, she sadly doesn't use it a lot in Manhattan, but she loves it nonetheless.

her middle name is heather

she never loses at just dance, has acquired the nickname ‘just dance queen’

ᯓᡣ𐭩 EARLY LIFE & SCHOOLING !

april 11th, 2002: ophelia is born on a bright and sunny Thursday afternoon in Vernon, British Columbia.

may 9th, 2006: ophelia (4) takes her first ballet class

2008 - 2013: early childhood / elementary school

august 2010: ophelia (8) joined the soccer team and met her now best friend Amber Jameson; they have been inseparable since.

october 2013: ophelia (11) got an ankle injury during a soccer game and sadly had to quit the sport. Her love for ballet was stronger and she didn't want to risk not being able to dance again.

She had to stop dancing for the rest of the year so her ankle could heal, it was miserable for her.

2013 - 2016: start of her teenage years / middle school

march 2015: ophelia (12) joined the theater club and helped make the costumes for their play, in turn finding her love for fashion designing.

april 2016: ophelia (13) went to get her photos taken for her ballet portfolio and was approached by a teen modeling agency.

summer 2016: ophelia (14) went to south korea for a ballet summer intensive program.

She was housed by a sweet family, where she met one of her bestest friends seunghan and his younger brother park sunghoon who is her age. Seunghan is a fellow ballet dancer and went to the training camp with her.

Ophelia became very close with the family, only becoming closer with them as the years go by, she's an honorary park! Seunghan’s parents think of her as their own child and his little sister thinks of her as her big sis!

2016 - 2020: teen years / high school / start of her modeling career

december 2016: Ophelia (14) was on the cover of pointe magazine.

june 2017: ophelia (15) won first place in the Helsinki international ballet competition, in juniors for women.

august 2017: ophelia finished her first wedding dress that she made for her cousin's wedding.

may 2018: ophelia (16) won first place in the american ballet competition

july 2018: ophelia won first place in the varna international ballet competition

was invited to be on jimmy fallon after her win.

february 2019: ophelia (17) made her debut by walking the catwalk and attending the New York fashion week.

may 29th - june 2, 2019: ophelia walked and attended the miami fashion week

september 2019: ophelia walked and attended the paris fashion week

october 9th 2019: the creation of ophelia's youtube channel

Ophelia created her youtube channel so she could have another way to communicate and become closer with her fans.

She mainly posted vlogs of her days as a model and a ballet dancer, and her just traveling and doing random activities with her friends.

december 2019: ophelia walked and attended the NYFW: December pre-fall and fall-winter, fashion week.

february 2020: ophelia walked and attended london's fashion week, fall-winter.

Ophelia meets Ryan James, a fellow model, they exchanged numbers and Ophelia then got in a relationship with him in may.

June 2020: Ophelia (18) graduated highschool with honors.

july 2020: ophelia moved into her apartment/loft in manhattan, New York. With her best friend seunghan.

Throughout 2016 - 2020 ophelia modeled for many different high end brands, her favorites being Dior, Dolce and Gabbana, and GQ.

She was given the nickname “the next model it girl” for her sudden dominating presence in the modeling world.

september 2020: ophelia (18) starts her first year at juilliard

february 23 - march 1st 2020: ophelia walked and attended milan’s fashion week

march 2 - 9th 2020: ophelia walked and attend paris fashion week

Throughout the rest of the year ophelia really focused on her ballet career, putting modeling to the side, and focusing on her studies.

march 2021: ophelia (19) won the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP)

may 2021: ophelia won first place in the american ballet competition

july 2021: ophelia won first place in the varna international ballet competition

for the rest of the year, Ophelia modeled for many different brands, but she really just focused on her ballet career and getting more known in the fashion design world.

2022 : breakup era

april 11th 2022: Ophelia (20) broke up with Ryan after finding out he has been cheating on her for many months.

april, may, june, july 2022: ophelia took a break from anything that evolved with modeling during those months, trying to heal from her breakup. Throwing herself into training, practices, and her studies.

august 2022: ophelia modeled for celine as her comeback into modeling

was invited back on the jimmy fallon show where they talked about what she's been up to, the celine shoot, and her comeback to modeling

october 6-9th 2022: ophelia walked and attended los angeles fashion week

november 2022: ophelia was interviewed by WIRED where she talked about ballet and modeling and her love for fashion design

2023: meeting jack

march 3rd 2023: curtis gets traded to the new jersey devils

march 28th 2023: ophelia and Jack meet for the first time at a club and share a kiss.

april 18th 2023: ophelia joins curtis out at a bar to meet some of his teammates, and she sees jack for the first time since the club.

they keep what happened at the bar to themselves (besides Jack freaking out about it to Luke), and pretend to just meet each other for the first time.

april 25th 2023: ophelia and jack run into each other at a bar, things escalate and jack ends up bringing her back to his place where they hook up for the first time.

the next morning they talk about what happened, and how they need to keep what happened between them a secret. They want to keep seeing each other, so they decide to become friends with benefits.

july 2023: ophelia models for calvin klein

july 17th 2023: jack confesses his feelings to ophelia after 3 months of being friends with benefits.

Ophelia didn't take it well and left his apartment in haste (girly was afraid of her feelings and commitment) and they didn't talk for two weeks.

july 31st 2023: ophelia goes to jack’s apartment where she apologizes and asks him on a date.

august 1st 2023: jack and ophelia have there first date and officially start dating (secretly)

november 6th 2023: curtis holds a dinner at his home for his teammates, curtis finds jack and ophelia kissing in the garage and did not take it well.

curtis gives her an ultimatum ‘him or me’ in a moment of anger and that leads to ophelia not talking to either of them for a week, locking herself in her apartment.

november 14th 2023: curtis comes to see her early in the day to apologize for his reaction and what he said, later in the day jack comes to see her and they have a sweet moment, happy that everything is now okay between them.

january 12th 2024: ophelia and jack said i love you for the first time

january 24-28 2024: ophelia walked and attended miami fashion week

february 9-14th 2024: ophelia attended new york fashion week fall-winter

february 16th 2024: ophelia and jack's relationship is exposed to the media when videos and pictures of them at the njd’s family skate go viral.

february 26th - march 5th 2024: ophelia walked and attended paris fashion week

may 2024: ophelia did the 73 questions with vogue
