A reminder of how I do these reaction posts as I watch things. I just write my reactions and thoughts down literally as a happen. Think more of a bullet point format. The episode starts with Jimin showing up right before JKs GMA performance and interview, July 14th 2023.

Them meeting up and talking about how he has his performance in NY on GMA later. Jimin saying that he hadn't seen him in a while, their schedules kept them SO BUSY 😭😭 this trip was so good for them. The way that JKs kayak tipped over immediately and Jimin just was cackling as he continued to paddle away and the staff were fishing JK out of the lake 🤣🤣🤣 just for JK to furiously row up on him and be like "you have your phone?? Tip over!!" 🤣🤣 They are so funny and cute! And Jimin taking a photo of his baby 💜 the way Jimin spent the whole time on the water just laughing and smiling fondly at everything JK would do. It's so freaking sweet. They just really had so much fun together being silly and goofy.

Not much I haven't already said honestly. Lol but just more emphasis on how special this trip is, both to Jikook themselves and for us to have it shared with us. This IS comfort TV. They bring each other such peace and happiness. They both banter and tease and have such fun. They both baby the heck out of the other. JK taking care of a sick Jimin was soooo nice seeing. The way Jimin wasn't feeling good, but rallied in order to have a good time for their weekend away.

It's also interesting that so much of this is honestly filmed from GoPro. They have some staff and crew there, but from what I've seen it's a smaller number than normally goes to film these shows and they are left alone with just installed cameras fairly often. That's extra nice for them. 💜

since i’m bored and still can’t sleep, thought id share a few keegan hc’s i have, solely because i can

(this will probably be edited to add more in the future)

general:

i hc keegan being born in october, something about him just makes me think he’s a fall/winter baby

DEFINITELY snores

he probably has mommy/daddy issues, although i can’t pinpoint which one, probably both.

probably had rough childhood/teenage years

has a bit of stubble

probably listens to old divorced dad rock

he doesn’t get scared easily, if you were to scare him he’d just stare at you, maybe even smile for you making a fool out of yourself

he’s quiet around people he doesn’t know of course, but if his friends/partner are in a room with him, he can get pretty chatty

loveeeees comedy movies, although he’s more of a quiet guy, he’ll let out a good amount of laughs while watching ones he likes.

carrying on to this, he’d probably rewatch movies MULTIPLE times, paying attention to every detail, although he probably wouldn’t talk about it unless you started it first.

never really played any instruments, maybe tried guitar or piano and was bad at it, so he gave up pretty quickly, just wasn’t a priority.

has short nails all the time, he doesn’t like it when they’re dirty or caught on things, but mostly because he used to be a nail biter

tries to be as clean as possible, (not in the shaving area though) he makes sure to smell good, i like to think he has a woody smell to him.

love/partner:

doesn’t really fall in love easily, although he’s very capable of being in love

when he does fall in love though, he’s determined to be the best he could possible be for you, he’s head over heels, maybe even more so then you are.

he knows how to be gentle, and he tries to be, but sometimes he’s rough without knowing it

i think his love language is acts of service/spending quality time together, he’d love to give you small gifts and presents, totally the type to say “it made me think of you, so i bought it.” he likes watching movies with you, sometimes going out, but i think he prefers staying inside.

he’d teach you how to defend yourself, he’d help you train and keep yourself in shape in case anything ever happened to him, although he’d never say that.

your his priority, even when he’s on missions or just away from home, he’s always thinking of you, hoping your safe and thinking of him too.

keegan would never cheat on his partner. even if you weren’t working out he wouldn’t stoop so low, he’d talk about it and try to make improvements, determined to make it work.

he’d keep you close in public, his arm around your waist or your hands interlocked.

this took like two hours for some reason and i’m not ashamed.

"ugh, what is that smell?" you groan, scrunching up your nose as you open your front door and head inside. it's been a long day at work, and all you were looking forward to was a relaxing takeout meal and some much needed alcohol. you cover your nose with a handkerchief as you walk into the kitchen. and see hinata shōyō throw a pan into the sink.

"did you see that?" he asks meekly. your eyes soften, but a teasing smirk takes over your lips as you lean against the wall and cross your arms over your chest, "see what?"

he's turning the faucet on as he says, "i wanted to make you dinner. i even called omi-kun for help. then i went to the living room to watch highlights of the old game between the ejp raijin and the sendai frogs because atsumu said we should use one of their techniques in the next season so i got all excited. then i smelled something burning."

you let out a breathy chuckle as you walk up to him, wrapping your arms around his torso as you close your eyes. then, you mumble, "you don't need to cook for me, shō. you could've ordered take-out. that would've been fine."

"but i wanted it to be special. you've been working late this past week and you would've been tired. i screwed up dinner and now we have nothing to eat."

you peer up at him, but he avoids your gaze until you cup his cheeks and force him to look back. you hum, "how about we cook lunch together tomorrow?"

"you don't have work tomorrow?" he asks, eyes big.

"it's saturday," you giggle, "i have the day off."

"i lost track of what day it is after our last game," he rubs the back of his neck guiltily. and you laugh even harder as you get on the tip of your toes and press a peck to his cheek, "what do you want to eat?"

"tomorrow or right now?"

you give him a look, and he says, "pizza."

"good choice," you chortle, before giving his lips a peck and going through your work bag to find your phone, "i'll order breadsticks too."

"the ones with cheese?"

"the ones with cheese."

"thank you!" he groans happily. you narrow your eyes, "hey, you're the one who fucked up dinner."

"the wounds are still fresh, honey. don't wound me."

"want me to make up my vicious verbal attacks with cuddles?"

"and jurassic park?"

"i am so in love with you," he giggles, walking over to you and kissing your lips softly. you smile into the kiss, leaning against him. a sigh leaves your lips, and he frowns, "what's wrong, hon?"

"nothing's wrong, i'm just exhausted. and seeing you at the end of the day is the best thing that happens to me," you tell him. shōyō grins, as if you've stroked his ego, "i'm glad to be of service."

"no seriously, seeing you is like a free therapy session," you joke, giggling breathily. he takes your hand in his, interlocking your fingers. then he whispers, "come on. let's go get you in some pajamas and watch movies on the couch. then we'll makeout and fall asleep there too."

"that sounds like such a solid plan," you laugh.

"free therapy session?"

"free therapy session."
