Understanding Hearing Loss in Seniors and Its Impact on Daily Life
As we age, many of us face hearing loss called presbycusis. It can change our daily life a lot. It makes talking, connecting with family, and enjoying life harder.
Common Signs of Age-Related Hearing Loss
The signs of presbycusis can sneak up on us. They are often small and slow to show. Here are some common ones:
Difficulty hearing high-pitched sounds, such as women's and children's voices
Needing to turn up the volume on the TV, radio, or phone to hear clearly
Struggling to understand conversations, especially in noisy environments
Feeling like people are mumbling or not speaking clearly
How Untreated Hearing Loss Affects Quality of Life
Untreated presbycusis can lead to big problems. Seniors might feel left out and lonely. They might struggle to talk with friends and family. This can make them feel sad and lonely, which can hurt their mind too.
The Physical and Emotional Benefits of Hearing Aids
But there's hope. Hearing aids can really help seniors with presbycusis. They make sounds clearer and help people talk better. This can make seniors feel more independent, safe, and connected. It can also make them happier and help their mind stay sharp.
Best Hearing Aids for Seniors: Features and Technology Comparison
Choosing the best hearing aids for seniors means looking at the latest technology. Features like rechargeable batteries, digital noise reduction, and Bluetooth connectivity are key. These advancements can greatly improve life for older adults with hearing loss.
Rechargeable batteries are a top choice for seniors. They make hearing aids more convenient and save money by avoiding the need for constant battery replacements. These devices also have advanced digital noise reduction. This helps filter out background noise, making it easier to talk and enjoy activities.
Directional microphones are another must-have. They focus on sounds in front of the wearer, cutting down on side and rear noise. This is great for seniors who have trouble hearing in loud places like parties or family gatherings.
Bluetooth connectivity is a big plus. It lets seniors stream audio, make calls, and adjust their hearing aids settings easily. This makes using hearing aids more convenient and fun.
Telecoil technology is also important. It works well with landline phones and public assistive listening devices. It ensures clear, interference-free sound, which is essential for seniors who use these devices often.
When picking the best hearing aids for seniors, consider their unique needs and likes. Knowing about the latest technology helps seniors and their caregivers make the best choices. This way, they can find hearing aids that really improve their lives.

Restore Your Hearing with The Best Hearing Aid for Seniors
As we age, our senses may gradually decline, and hearing loss becomes a common concern among seniors. According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), approximately one in three people between the ages of 65 and 74 experience hearing loss, and nearly half of those older than 75 have difficulty hearing. Fortunately, advances in technology have led to the development of highly effective hearing aids tailored to the specific needs of seniors, offering them a chance to restore their hearing and reconnect with the world around them.
Understanding Hearing Loss in Seniors
Before delving into the solutions, it's essential to grasp the nature of hearing loss in seniors. Age-related hearing loss, known as presbycusis, typically occurs gradually and affects the ability to hear high-pitched sounds and understand speech clearly. Factors such as genetics, exposure to loud noise throughout life, and certain medical conditions can contribute to this condition. The effects of hearing loss extend beyond simply missing out on conversations; it can lead to social isolation, depression, and a decline in cognitive function if left untreated.
The Importance of Seeking Assistance
Recognizing the signs of hearing loss and seeking assistance promptly is crucial for seniors. While hearing loss is irreversible, the right intervention can significantly improve quality of life. This is where the Best Hearing Aid for Seniors plays a pivotal role.
Choosing the Best Hearing Aid for Seniors
Selecting the most suitable hearing aid involves considering various factors, including the degree and type of hearing loss, lifestyle preferences, and budget. Modern hearing aids come in a range of styles, from discreet in-the-ear models to behind-the-ear devices with advanced features.
Key Features to Look For
When searching for the Best Hearing Aid for Seniors, several key features can enhance the overall experience:
Noise Reduction Technology: Seniors often struggle in noisy environments. Hearing aids equipped with noise reduction technology can distinguish speech from background noise, improving clarity.
Telecoil Compatibility: Telecoils allow users to connect directly to compatible telephones and hearing loop systems, enhancing sound quality and reducing interference.
Wireless Connectivity: Many hearing aids now offer wireless connectivity to smartphones and other devices, enabling seamless streaming of phone calls, music, and audio directly to the hearing aids.
Comfort and Fit: Comfort is paramount, especially for seniors who may wear their hearing aids for extended periods. Customizable fit and ergonomic design contribute to a comfortable wearing experience.
Long Battery Life: Opt for hearing aids with long-lasting batteries or rechargeable options to minimize the hassle of frequent battery changes.
Seeking Professional Guidance
While there are numerous options available, consulting with an audiologist or hearing care professional is essential for seniors to find the Best Hearing Aid tailored to their specific needs. These professionals can conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, offer personalized recommendations, and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal hearing health.
Conclusion
Hearing loss doesn't have to be a barrier to enjoying life to the fullest in our senior years. With the advancements in hearing aid technology and the guidance of hearing care professionals, seniors can regain their hearing and reconnect with the world around them. Investing in the Best Hearing Aid for Seniors is not just an investment in better hearing; it's an investment in overall well-being and quality of life.

Senior-Friendly Banks: How to Find the Best Bank for Your Retirement Years
As you enter your golden years, it's important to ensure that your financial needs are met by a bank that caters to seniors. While many banks offer accounts and services for retirees, not all are created equal. In this article, we'll explore how to find the best bank for seniors and what to look for when choosing a financial institution for your retirement years.
Accessibility and Convenience
The first thing to consider when choosing a bank is its accessibility and convenience. As you age, it's essential to have easy access to your bank accounts and be able to conduct your transactions without hassle. Look for a bank with multiple branches or a network of ATMs that you can access easily. Online banking can also be a great option for seniors who prefer to manage their finances from the comfort of their own home.
Low Fees and Charges
Another crucial factor to consider when choosing a bank is the fees and charges associated with its accounts and services. Seniors living on a fixed income may want to avoid high monthly fees, minimum balance requirements, and other hidden charges. Look for a bank that offers free checking and savings accounts or those with low minimum balance requirements.
Senior-Specific Accounts
Many banks offer special accounts and services designed specifically for seniors. These may include higher interest rates, discounts on banking services, and waived fees. Look for a bank that offers senior-specific accounts and services to get the most out of your banking experience.
Customer Service
Excellent customer service is essential when it comes to banking, especially for seniors who may need extra assistance or have questions about their accounts. Choose a bank that has a reputation for excellent customer service and offers support through multiple channels, including phone, email, and online chat.
Additional Benefits
Finally, consider any additional benefits that the bank may offer, such as financial planning services, retirement planning resources, or educational seminars. These resources can help you make informed decisions about your finances and plan for a comfortable retirement.
Conclusion
In conclusion, finding the best bank for seniors requires careful consideration of accessibility, fees, senior-specific accounts, customer service, and additional benefits. By taking the time to research and compare different banks, you can find an institution that meets your needs and helps you achieve your financial goals in retirement.

Just One Date
Summary: You're a Military Doctor attached to the 212, and you've come to consider Commander Cody as a friend. Turns out, that he sees you a little bit more.
Pairing: Commander Cody x F!Reader
Word Count: 1333
Warnings: Cody makes suggestive jokes, and gets whacked with pillows and has a hand slapped over his mouth for it.
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni
A/N: HAPPY 2224 Day! I came up with this idea at 5:30 this morning when I originally woke up and when I remembered what today was. There might, possibly, be a sequel where the date actually happens. It depends on people's reactions to this one.
You’ve been a civilian employee to the GAR since you were old enough to enlist. The military wasn’t exactly your “dream” career, but it got you away from your incredibly toxic family, and it paid you to go to medical school.
And, really, at the time the odds of there actually being a war was slim to non-existent.
Jokes on you, the war started 6 months after you graduated and you found yourself bouncing from military base to military base, before finally getting assigned to The Negotiator, under General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Commander Cody.
The Commander is everything you’ve ever wanted in a Senior Officer, respectful and professional when the situation calls for it, but more than happy to share jokes with you when you’re not working.
The General, however, is a walking migraine.
At this point, you’re beginning to think that your job would be easier if you were assigned to literally any other battalion.
“General Kenobi,” You say as you pinch the bridge of your nose, “Did you, perhaps, skip your basic first aid lessons as a child?”
Helix, working on Commander Cody at the bed behind you, doesn’t bother to muffle his laughter, but you tune him out with the ease of long practice, instead pinning your General with an accusing glare.
“Well,” General Kenobi rubs his chin thoughtfully, “I was a very busy padawan-”
“So, perhaps, you skipped the basic first aid classes that say when you get stabbed, do not remove the stabbing implement?” You interrupt.
“Well, I wouldn’t say that I skipped the lessons-” He demures.
“And your reasoning for ignoring Commander Cody’s very reasonable order to not remove the knife from your thigh?” You ask.
“...uh…I was in shock?”
You smile. It’s a nice smile, and you’re pleased to see General Kenobi slump on the hospital bed, “Well, since you ignored your Commander’s very reasonable, and correct, order. You’re going to spend the next three days in a bacta tank.”
“I don’t think you’re allowed to use bacta tanks as a punishment.” General Kenobi says thoughtfully.
“I don’t think you’re in any position to argue with me.” You counter with a roll of your eyes. “Relax, General. It’s not a punishment. You’re more injured than you look. And maybe you can get some sleep if I drug you enough.”
General Kenobi sputters, “Commander! Are you hearing this?”
“Hm? What? I’m not listening.” Cody says with a sly smirk.
“Well, there you have it. The Commander’s on my side.” You say brightly, as you spin to grab a syringe of the sedative that was especially formulated for Jedi. “Good night, General.”
“This is mutiny,” General Kenobi says with a frown.
“Yes, yes. I know.” You inject the liquid into his IV, “We’ll see you in a couple of days.” The older man slowly drifts off to sleep, and you pass the General over to the men who can get him into a bacta tank easier than you.
And then you spin on your heel and move over to Commander Cody, who’s laying on his hospital bed very peacefully, a small grin playing on his lips. “What’s wrong with you?” You ask, as you grab his file and scan it.
“Well, I was blown up, mesh’la.” Commander Cody says blandly.
“Well, that was silly of you. Why would you do something like that?”
“I woke up this morning and thought, ‘how can I make my medics pull their hair out today?’ and decided that getting blown up was the best way to go about it.”
You smother your laugh and glance at him, “One of these days Helix is actually going to kill you.”
“But you’ll protect me won’t you?”
“Of course.” You wink at him, “Everyone knows I’m the scary one.” You scan his record for a moment, and then favor him with a smile, “Aside from some bumps and bruises, you look totally fine.”
He grins at you, “So you like how I look, do you?”
You sigh, “Commander, that joke got old within a week of working with any of you.”
Cody just laughs and sits up, “Come on, Doc. I won’t tell. We both know that I’m the most handsome.”
“One of these days,” You counter as you set your hands on your hips, “I’m going to buy a box of chocolates and address it to ‘the most handsome man in the 212’ just to see who wins.”
“Aww, mesh’la, you don’t have to buy me chocolates.”
“Ooh, someone’s cocky.”
“You have no idea.” He flashes a boyish grin, “I could show you, if you like.”
You squint at him, “What?”
“Just how cocky I am.” Cody clarifies with a sly grin.
Your jaw drops and your face burns, before you grab the thin pillow and smack him with it, “Behave!”
Cody laughs, as he fends off the pillow, “What? I just repeated what you said. It’s not my fault that your brain lives in the gutter.”
“Rude. Rude!” You huff, “I changed my mind, I’m not going to protect you from Helix. RIP Commander Cody. I knew you well.”
“C’mon mesh’la,” He teases, “Having a dirty mind is a boon. Well, I think. Especially if it’s dirty about me.” Cody reaches out and lightly grips your hips, tugging you closer.
You scowl at him, though it’s really more of a pout, “You know, there are almost 2 million men identical to you-”
“Yeah, yeah. But you don’t have dirty thoughts about them.” Cody replies confidently.
“You’re so sure of that?”
“Yup.”
You shake your head, “Come on, Commander. You’re hardly a mind-reader.”
“I don’t have to be. I see how you look at me.” He says with a smirk.
“And how do I look at you?” You ask sarcastically.
Cody’s smirk grows into an amused grin, “Like you wanna drag me into a supply closet and ri-” You slam your hands over his mouth.
“Okay! Thank you!” You yelp, your face burning. “Why do people think you’re the mature one?” You bemoan.
“Because I play the part well,” He says smugly, his voice muffled by your hand.
“Can I remove my hand or are you still going to try and embarrass me?” You ask.
“I like it when you get all embarrassed, it’s cute.” Cody replies before he pulls your hands away from his mouth, and then presses them to the bed next to him without releasing them.
“Hm, you seem to have forgotten to release my hands.” You say dryly.
“I didn’t forget. I did it on purpose.” He says, his dark eyes scanning your face.
“And why would you do that?”
“Go on a date with me.” Cody says.
You blink at him, startled. “I beg your pardon?”
“One date,” He clarifies, “That’s all I’m asking for.”
“Commander-”
“Cody.” He interrupts, his gaze serious, “One night. Let me show you how good we could be together.”
You avert your gaze for a second, and you know that he can feel your heart racing with how he’s holding your hands still. “Commander, we’re not going to be returning to Coruscant for several months-”
“Cody, and I don’t care. I can woo you even on the Negotiator. Give me a chance.”
“And if we don’t go well together at the end of the night? What then?”
“We’re going to be great,” Cody counters, “But, if,” He rolls his eyes, “For some reason, we don’t work out, then nothing will change.”
“Com-”
He tugs your wrists so that you topple against him, “Cody. My name isn’t that hard, is it?”
“...Cody.” You finally say with a sigh, though there’s a small smile playing on your lips, “I suppose, since you’re so eager, I can agree to a single night.”
“There's going to be more than one.” Cody says confidently.
You hum thoughtfully, “Prove it.”
He grins at you boyishly, “I can do that. I already have the whole thing planned.”
“...How?” You ask, exasperated.
“I’m very good at what I do.” He replies smugly.

Mean Girls - Eren Jaeger
synopsis. Eren's the new kid at Trost Academy and being fresh meat in his senior year isn't easy. Especially so when the only friends he's made yet have managed to convince him to help them mess with "The Plastics". The problem?
He's got the biggest crush on their queen bee, Y/N.
series masterlist.
chapter warnings. Foul language, rich ppl, mentions of vomit, mentions of shitting your pants (what even are these warnings LMAO), laxatives, mentions of giving a character laxatives, hitch is a bitch (I love her I’m sorry I made her like this), drama drama drama, a lot of menstrual product talk (these characters are very comfortable talking abt these things!)
chapter synopsis. From a brawl at the supermarket to a meeting with the Queen bee’s arch nemesis, our trio’s plan preparations seem to be coming together! Though, will learning some lore regarding our resident plastics impede on Eren’s drive? Perhaps the future isn’t looking so bright for our revenge seekers…
chapter 2. Fuck with the Plastics: start
"Bag secured, over." Mikasa spoke in her usual monotone voice.
"And... you're completely sure that this will only make her a bit gassy, right 'kasa?" Armin spoke next, the shake in his voice painfully obvious even through the speaker of Eren's phone. With no answer, he tries again, "Guys? Hello?"
Silence.
"You're supposed to say 'over', Armin!"
"Oh! Over."
"Alright, mine is secured too... over?" Eren announced as he slipped his arm through the plastic bag, doing his best to be inconspicuous, though the hood over his head isn't helping his case. His attire was mostly to calm his troubled conscience.
The three way call had one purpose and a very important one at that.
Phase one of 'Fuck with The Plastics'.
"Good boy," Mikasa purred and Eren swore he could hear the mischievous grin his reply had caused to form on her face. "Now Armin, relax. All this is gonna do is make her tummy a bit upset, a little gas here and there never hurt anyone. She'll get the humiliation she made Eren bear... only much much worse because of her status, plus ruin her chances of winning this highly anticipated game and possibly her entire athletic career. Over."
"Please, stop repeating what could go wrong. I'm getting nauseous again..." Eren groans into the speaker.
"Mikasa, you say that now but, what if she's allergic to it or something? Ohmylanta, what if she dies?!" Armin screeches and Eren fears he may begin to wail soon. "I don't wanna go to jail guys! I can't go back!"
"Geez Louise, Armin." Eren winces as he pulls the phone away from his ear. "My ears are bleeding."
"Oh wait Eren, now that you reminded me, can you get me some pads from the store? My cycle is pretty heavy today." Mikasa asks.
"Uh, T-M-I Mikasa..." Armin mutters as he glances around the student aid center. His portion of contribution to the trio's master plan is arguably the least interesting, though the boy didn't seem to mind. All he was put in charge of was attaining their tickets for the game, which they receive free of charge with their student ID's.
"Mikasa, I'm literally already walking out of the store." Eren says exasperatedly, though his pace has already begun to falter in preparation for his U-turn.
"Well then, go back? If I bleed out all over the bleachers, it's your jacket I'm using to wipe it clean. The ball is in your court."
"Oh my gosh, fine!" Eren relents. "What size?"
"XXL."
Silence reigns over the three, and Eren swears everyone in the supermarket had audibly halted all movements along with them.
"Mikasa, you know damn well..." Armin begins.
"Armin! Shut the hell up, the length helps with my leakage so mind your own business!"
"Zayum, okay geez."
"Wings or no wings?" Eren asks, already having made his way back into the multiple isles freshly restocked.
"Wings, please. I want to be ready for anything." The girl answers ominously.
"I don't even want to know what that means. I'll head back to the academy after I'm done with this, where do you guys want to meet?"
"The restrooms near the cafeteria are right beside the doors that lead to a path straight to the stadium. We can meet there." Armin suggests, already beginning to make his way towards the meeting spot.
"Okay. Actually, since I'm here, do you guys want any snacks for the game?" Eren asks while he grabs a box of fruit roll ups and a bag of hot Cheetos for himself. "How long does a soccer game last?"
"A little under an hour and thirty minutes, and that's if they don't go into over time which they probably will, considering who they're playing against." Mikasa answers, "Oh, and I'll take an oat meal crème pie and a red Gatorade. But! The one with the twistable cap that you can suck on."
"We'll see how long this one will last with what we have planned, though." Armin mutters into the speaker anxiously, "Anyway, I'll take some Skittles, baby Gerber puffs, Teddy Grahams, Hubba Bubba, strawberry Hello Pandas, Scooby-Doo snacks, Gushers, Pirate's Booty-"
Eren hangs up before the other boy could finish, deciding it wasn't worth his weekly allowance.
He had already arrived at the feminine hygiene products aisle by the time Armin had sent him the remaining 27 items on his wishlist for tonight, which Eren promptly ignored. The wall that held most of the menstrual supplies was expanse and slightly intimidating to the teenage boy's eyes, though that was not to say he was taken off guard. Having a close relationship with your mother desensitizes you to a large amount of aspects of womanhood that most immature boys his age would either cringe at or ridicule.
He knows the brand his mother uses is best for absorbing, but they're not the best at being discreet. He wonders which Mikasa would prefer, though he decides that coverage and preventing leakage must have been her priority considering her earlier words. Deciding upon the trustworthy brand he had always picked up on late night pad runs with his mom, he notices how it seems to be the only brand that has yet to be restocked. The one in his hand being the very last one in XXL.
As he turns to leave the isle, a high pitched voice, practically whining curse words, catches his attention. Before he instinctively turns his head towards the sound, he internally prays for there to be no reenactment of his first encounter with Armin, knowing he couldn't bear to handle another stereotypical bully, much less work up the courage to stand up to them once more.
"They don't have that one today, I swear I've looked everywhere!" The, now visible, person speaks into the cell phone clutched to his ear. "I don't know? Does everyone suddenly use the biggest size available? I know you do not need double X."
It seems to be a young boy, perhaps only a few years younger than Eren himself, with messily styled H/C hair and a few piercings adorning his delicate face.
"The one with the purple flowers on the box or the navy blue one with the stars?" The young boy asks, his impatience slowly making its way into his features.
Wait, purple flowers?
Eren's gaze moves back toward the box in his hands and his eyes trace those exact purple flowers printed and plastered smack dab in the center. Though, he knows there are tons of other brands that use matching floral patterns, perhaps this boy was looking for the one with the green background instead of the pink one Eren held.
"The one with the pink box, right?" The boy asks.
Well, perhaps he was searching for the 7 hour wear edition instead of the 8 hour one Eren got for Mikasa. Surely that was the case-
"8 hour version? Do you need to charge it or something, why is there a time limit?"
Certainly he couldn't be looking for the same size, not many people would be as paranoid as Mikasa due to leakage-
"Mm, XXL? Oh, cause of leakage, got it."
Run, that's what Eren needs to do. He knows how far passionate boyfriends would go for their lovers, especially ones as young as the boy he is sharing the aisle with. Kids his age will either pay romantic relationships no heed or take them far too seriously.
Though, before he could pivot in the other direction, the boy ends the call and turns to presumably search for the pink floral box in the size XXL. Coincidentally, the exact box Eren plans to buy.
The last box.
Green meets E/C.
His heart drops to his ass and his arm hastily shields the prized object behind his back as visible sweat forms on his forehead. Though, truly his efforts were all for naught.
Silence follows as the two teenagers hold eye contact, one accompanied with worry creases near his brows and the other with an unamused pout to his lips.
"Those are the last double X they have in stock, aren't they?"
"...Perchance..."
The H/C boy sighs and holds his hands up in surrender. "Look, dude. I come in peace, it's fine. What do I look like to you? Someone who would go batshit over menstrual products?" Eren shakes his head hastily, to which the younger boy agrees. Of course, what was Eren thinking? Incriminating a person who looked to be no older than the age of 15 was not cool on his part.
"You're right, My bad."
Letting any past thoughts flee his mind, Eren resumes his standstill with the stranger, neither seemingly knowing what to do next...
...before the stranger juts a finger behind Eren and exclaims, "Hey, look over there, it's TSwift!"
"What?! Where?!"
Eren was tackled to the ground and landed with a coherent 'oof', the assailant clambering on top of his chest and tugging at his arms to loosen the tight grip on the box that remains in his hands.
"That was a low blow, you psycho! I haven't seen her since I was in fifth grade!" Eren whines as he tries to free himself. Deciding that his actions were amounting to nothing, he thrusts the box away from his body and above his head, the cardboard sliding across the tiled floor of the supermarket.
"Morality is non-existent when it comes to the last box of pads, pretty boy!" The younger boy grits as he abandons Eren's body in favor of stumbling to his feet to reach the box.
As the boy steps over his head, Eren grabs onto one of his leather boots, causing him to plummet with his fingers outstretched only inches away from the prize. Eren flips himself onto his stomach and scrambles over the other boy, laying a palm atop his face to thwart his vision. In retaliation, though not after a sharp squawk, the boy chomps on the fingers overlaid his mouth, causing the brunet to cry out in pain.
"Give up!" The boy demands, "I don't care if I have to bite every one of your fingers off, I'll be leaving with that box!" He declares and delivers a torturous blow to Eren's crotch, causing him to wheeze and topple over in pain. "Aha!" The boy proclaims as he nears his victory, emitting a cry of premature success.
Though, before his slender fingers are able to reach the jackpot, his worst fear is born into existence.
"My Prada boots!" He squeals in agony and fear as Eren holds the cherished shoe above his head triumphantly and a pained smirk creases onto his face. "Don't you dare you monster, they're monolith!"
"You rich people are all the same," Eren scoffs as he throws the boot aways behind him, not sparing a glance in the direction as the boy abandons the box in favor of running over to his beloved shoe. Eren limps over to the pink box and swipes it up with an exhausted sigh escaping his lips. "I win." He states in a cocky tone, taking pride over the brawl he emerged victorious from, already preening at the amount of bragging rights he had just earned himself. "Mikasa, you owe me big time- ack!"
Not without a war cry, the unrelenting stranger rams a shopping cart into Eren's body, forcing the brunet back onto the ground and causing the box to slip out of his grasp and slide onto the floor once again.
"Never mess with my Prada boots again," He heaves and delicately steps over to the abandoned box, taking it into his hold and placing a kiss atop the the printed flowers. "Auggie, you're awesome." He then turns to face Eren and boldly upturns his pierced nose at the sight of the older boy sprawled on the floor. "You put up a good fight, unfortunately for you I reign superio-"
"I didn't hear a bell!" Eren shouts as he springs up and tackles the shorter boy, resulting in the two wrestling on the ground once again, just as they had originally started. Scratching, kicking, and biting their way across the floor, though noticeably making zero progress towards the box they both sought out.
An awkward cough acts as the bucket of cold water that halts their movements, both boys craning their heads in the direction of the sound alike deers in headlights.
An employee that hauled a cart filled to the brim with pink cardboard boxes and printed purple flowers decorating their surfaces stood before their tangled ball of limbs, gifting them a critical stare. Leisurely, and hesitatingly so, she tucks the prized boxes where they belong, before scurrying away with her haul of products stacked into her squeaky cart.
An air of silence follows the departure of the poor retail worker, both boys remaining stunned by the sudden appearance. Though, after realizing what a compromising position they had been caught in, the unraveling of their limbs went unspoken as they stood simultaneously.
Another awkward cough, though this one originating from the brunet, filled the vacant space between the two. Eren grabs ahold of one of the boxes that was recently stocked, his head hanging low in embarrassment. "So..." He utters hesitatingly.
The younger boy clears his throat, "M sry." He mutters.
"What?"
"I said I'm sorry! ...I know that Tswift joke was wrong of me."
Eren sighs in resignation, now realizing how idiotic his actions were, especially considering the fact that he seemed to be the older of the two. "It's fine. I guess we were both signed up for errand boy today, huh?"
The stranger shook his head, "Yeah but, to be honest, this is my first time going on a pad run for my sister. I wasn't 'old enough' a few years ago, and even then we don't usually do our own shopping. Our butler handles all of that."
"Oh..." It was stupid of Eren to forget that most people in his city were lathered in riches, but he did. His recent encounter with this new boy only furthered his forgetfulness, because what sort of opulent teenage boy was willing to engage in a full out brawl for a box of pads? "Well, either way. I'm guessing these aren't for you?"
"Nah, they're for my sister's friends. But, she can get pretty impatient real quickly and I'm not in the mood to deal with teenage Godzilla. She'd probably run me over with her convertible."
The mental image of Godzilla driving a convertible, only to then run over an edgy teen made Eren chuckle, "I get it, this size seems to be in high demand."
"My sister says that it's because of leakage, whatever the hell that means. I don't even think I want to know."
Eren smiled sympathetically, little brother ignorance was something he knew about all too well. "So, why are you here instead of your butler? I think I would have stood a better chance against him if I'm being honest."
The boy shrugs nonchalantly, "She says it's an emergency. Those girls can get pretty scary when in a state of panic. For being older than me, you'd think they'd be better at dealing with stress."
"I understand completely." Eren huffed in exhaustion, "My friends and I are dealing with these real popular kids at our school, we've got an ulterior motive of course, but we've seen a fair share of their antics and I can tell we'll have our hands full. At least the pay off will be worth it. We have a whole plan and everything."
The boy cackled a laugh that shook his whole body and clapped a palm onto the older boy's shoulder, "You don't say? What's such a good prize worth dealing with what seems to be a bunch of rich maggots eating away at your soul?" He asked.
"Well, it has to do with this girl..." Eren begun to attempt to elucidate the entire situation to this stranger but in the end only arrived with stutters, before he decided that the effort of reliving his trauma was not worth it. He sighed, "It's a long story."
Unexpectedly, a highly pitched rendition of 'I'm Just a Kid' began to chime in the stranger's pants, causing him to wince and groan in annoyance. "A story that I can't stay for, unfortunately." He muttered before slipping the device out of his pocket. "It's Godzilla." He confirmed his suspicions but made no moves to accept the call. Instead, he offered a jeweled hand towards the brunet.
This hand wasn't like the one that was offered to him earlier today. Instead of diamonds and gold, silver and various colored stones wrapped around this boy's digits, crowning them with luxury and status.
"My name's Augustine, but you can call me August." He paired with a friendly grin, bringing attention to the silver lip ring hung on his bottom lip.
For some reason, this boy struck something within Eren. He didn't know what it was, but there was a sense of reminiscence flooding his senses when he stared at his smile. The reminiscence that creeps up on you when you look at your sibling and recognize that the shirt they have on is in fact not theirs but yours.
He can't put his finger on it... but August reminded him of someone.
Nonetheless, he excepted his dressed hand with his own bare one. "Eren, it's just Eren."
"Alright, just Eren. I have to go, but hopefully I'll see you around!" August called out as he scampered down the aisle before Eren could have gotten another word of parting out.
What a nice guy, Eren hopes to see him again.
After grabbing the snacks that his newest friends had ordered, promptly ignoring 25 items on Armin's list, he pays the nice woman working the register and makes his departure. By the time he steps back on the pavement, the sun has begun its decent, painting the concrete buildings and vibrant trees in a golden hue.
Trost truly is a beautiful district — the architecture alone places it on a superior level when compared to many other extravagant districts out there.
Eren himself has never lived the kind of life that his new friends or acquaintances were born into. Although having a successful doctor for a dad, it was never an aspect that had ever brought upon wealth for the Jeager family. His mom rapidly rising in her fashion designer career is what has brought him to such a district as this one. Mrs. Jaeger is well on her way to being known for her individuality, and he couldn't be filled with more pride.
Having to leave his old school was pretty easy for him, he had never had many friends there anyway. Sure there were the few he could greet in the hallways, but none that had ever willingly stricken a genuine conversation with him, much less an interesting one. Though, that's not to say the experience of moving out of the blue in your senior year was something he was excited about either, that wouldn't be a nice time for anyone.
It was just his luck that he'd already made a fool out of himself on his very first day. In front of his crush to boot.
Y/N Ackerman.
He wouldn't lie to himself and proclaim that he has no feelings towards the girl. He quite literally puked on her because the amount of emotions she made him feel at a single glance proved to be overbearing to his body. Though, a portion of himself finds itself conflicted. Actually, scratch that - multiple portions of himself find themselves conflicted. As if the little people in his head are arguing against each other, and he isn't sure which side he should be on.
On one hand, the purple person that he decides to name Armeen is arguing that he should hate the girl. Mikasa said that Y/N had surely made it her goal to embarrass Eren in an attempt to solidify her superiority against him and that she was a vicious person with the ugliest soul she had ever seen.
On another, the red person, Mika Mika, proclaimed that he already hates her. Armin and Mikasa have informed him of her vile friends, the people she willingly surrounds herself with. She condones their actions by mere association. Not to mention the absolute joke she had made of him, which was sure to have cost him a year's worth of ill-repute. Hell, probably even the rest of his soon to be miserable life.
But then, as if he had grown a sudden third hand, there appeared a pink person. This one unnamed, whispered details the other two would surely never approve of. How could she be a vicious person, when she had went out of her own way to not only invite him, but his only friends, to her highly anticipated game AND her own home, knowing that everyone in their grade had heard the abrupt invitation? She was willingly attempting to help him fix his image. How could the person those little people in his head describe as ruthless and callous, ever make his insides light on fire, as if he was a skewered rotisserie chicken on a white Sunday morning? How could the devil herself bring upon him feelings only talked about in movies?
Manipulation.
Gaslighting someone to their wits' end by batting her fluffy lashes. It's an old tactic really, but one that would never die out, nor could it. Eren isn't stupid, he knows the truth of the situation. How dire a messy set up like this could have affected her reputation as well, he gets it. Understands that measures need to be taken to prevail through such a trying time. When you're at the top, tiptoeing a razors edge, everyone at the bottom has a clear shot to shoot you down. Those mean comments and accusations of prejudice are just the paint strokes crafting a precise target onto her back.
But, to bring him and his friends into her little scheme?
To escape that threat, you need to move, and to move, you need stepping stones. Eren won't let himself or his friends be used as stepping stones.
That's exactly the reason why the three of them have developed a plan to knock her off of her prodigious throne. No longer will they allow the Queen Bee of Trost Academy to continue her reign of exploitation.
Instead, she will... shit her pants?
Well, that's the best they could come up with, so it'll have to do.
It was simple in nature really, Eren simply needed to buy her a drink, one that Mikasa claims has always been her favorite pick to drink before a game, though Eren still questions how she even had that information, and then he will offer that said drink to her as a peace offering.
A seemingly innocent gesture, except it's not. Mikasa was in charge of acquiring laxatives which they would infuse into the refreshment, which Y/N would drink and whatever happened next would be left up to fate. Though, Armin had elucidated three paths that which this plan could take.
Probability 1: She'd harbor a stomach ache, forcing her to be benched due to her poor performance, effectively eliminating the captain of Trost's varsity soccer team. Ruining her image, their chances of winning their vital game of the year, and her life.
Probability 2: She'd fart up a storm, or worse, ruining her image of the ideal senior of the year, their chances of winning their vital game of the year, and her life.
Probability 3: She'd pull an Eren and projectile vomit all over her teammates and opponents. Ruining her stellar image, their chances of winning their vital game of the year, and her life.
The third was preferred for their goal of seeking revenge, but they wouldn't complain if either of the other two played out perfectly.
"Finally, Eren! You took so long, we started to wonder if you had gotten lost on the way here." Armin says as the boy approaches their meeting spot.
"I did, three times. There is no need for this school to be so damn huge."
"Well, you're here now so..." Mikasa surreptitiously looks over her shoulder and then Eren's, "You got the goods?" She asks.
"Stop acting shifty Mikasa, you're making me nervy." Eren rebukes, eyes glancing from side to side in paranoia.
"Do you have it or not." She exasperatedly asks. He timidly ushers the plastic bag her way, his back moving to obstruct the exchange from any prying eyes. "Good boy, keep me covered and I'll crush these bad boys and then pour them in."
"Hurry 'Kasa, I don't wanna go to jail!" Armin's nerves get the best of him, and just as Mikasa began to pour the laxatives into the energy drink, his trembling palms latch onto her shoulders and begin to shake her back and forth. Unfortunately, the forcible motions cause her hand to slip and pour more than what was necessary for what they had planned. "Oops..." He breathes.
Eren's jaw drops at the amount, "Holy shit, are you- are you sure that's okay?" A dramatic gasp forcibly rasps his throat, "She's not actually gonna die, right?!"
"Uhm... no... I don't think so."
"What do you mean, you don't think so?!" He screeches.
"Ohmygosh,we'regoingtojailI'mnotbuiltforthatimgonnadie-"
"Armin, chill." Mikasa grits, before twisting the cap of the bottle and giving it a good shake. "She'll be fine, we're not going to jail. All that'll change is the addition of one more possibility, which is shitting her pants for real."
"I thought we were only joking about that? You mean she'll actually shart herself?" Eren asks.
"Yeah," Mikasa declares with no amount of remorse in her irises, simply tilting her head to face him head on, smirk standing proud on her lips. "Even better than we planned, right? Give the bitch the humiliation she deserves."
After a moment of maintaining arduous eye contact with the ravenette, Eren relents, throwing his head back to stare at the ceiling instead and interlocking both hands in his shaggy hair. "You're crazy. Like deadass, you belong in a mental hospital."
"Okay but, wait. The bottle is already open, no one who has a right mind would accept an already opened drink from someone she met yesterday." Armin points out, ever the observer.
"Well, she's gonna have to in order for this plan to work..." Mikasa mumbles, lips pursing in thought. "Oh, Eren! Why don't you be a doll and offer to open it for her, that way she wouldn't even notice it has already been open." She announces with a proud nod, clearly impressed with her solution.
Eren however, isn't as impressed. If anything, the pit in his stomach twists and turns even tighter, bringing forth creases onto the surface of his skin as his face lightly scrunches in disgust. Playing a direct hand in the demise of anyone's athletic career can be catastrophic to the psyche, though he doubts Mikasa's is being affected much if at all.
"Fine."
"Good boy-"
"Stop calling me that!"
"Anyway, we should get going now. Or else, we'd be late. The game starts in 20 minutes, and the walk there is about five, give or take. Though, the introductions take up a good 10 to 15." She ignores the boy.
"Plus, we still need to find seats. Hopefully we won't have to sit on the opposing team's side, or else we'd be royally fucked." Armin adds as they exit the school building.
The pathway that leads them directly towards the stadium is beautiful and cleanly. The school itself is exceptionally cared for, with vibrant green bushes that looked as if they were clipped with the utmost precision. Marbled vases for various other plants and polished benches littered across the lawn oozed a luxurious aura.
"Who are they playing against?" Eren asks.
"I think it's Stohess Prep." Armin answers.
"Oh, that means drama~" Mikasa adds, "10 bucks Levi chokes out Coach Nile?"
"Mm, nah. 20 bucks it's Ymir and Hitch." Armin replies, pointer finger prodding at the fat of his cheek in thought.
"Oh, I forgot about those two. 30 Y/N is forced to step in either way."
"40 bucks she joins."
"50 that they recreate that one Euphoria scene from season 2."
"60 someone yells plus ultra."
"70 bucks Y/N gets hit by a bus and dies."
"..."
"..."
"Okay, you need an exorcist." Armin quips.
"I've been wondering, why do you hate her so much? There's gotta be history you're not telling me." Eren asks the girl.
It was true, he can feel the animosity she seemingly reigns in 24/7 and he wonders if it was at all reciprocated. Though, he has the feeling that it's heavily one sided.
"Mikasa and Y/N-"
"Armin, shut it." The girl grits before her friend could have thought to utter the remainder of his statement.
Eren groans, "Armin, don't shut it. Open it. Open it wide."
"Don't word it like that, Eren..."
"I just don't see the point," Mikasa admits, though her face was telling to how difficult the situation seems to be for her, "What's in the past should be left there, why open up that can of worms?"
"I don't know if you've noticed, but it's pretty damn obvious that those worms have been out for a while now. You don't think I've noticed how personal this seems to be for you?" Eren rebuts.
"Oh, and I'm not supposed to notice how personal this is for you? As in, more than just some revenge brought upon by petty high school humiliation?" She challenges, and her piercing gaze bore into Eren's own. "You've made your little crush pretty obvious, the addition of this information might change more than you think it would, Eren."
"Who I have a crush on is none of your business. Besides, yeah, I'll admit I'm not blind, I can tell Y/N is an attractive girl. You can't blame me for admitting so, but a silly little school crush is just a silly little school crush at the end of the day. I don't get how your past with her had anything to do with something as minuscule as that."
Mikasa's arms crossed before her chest in frustration, and she kept her head forward, not relenting at unsealing her lips. Though, Armin, being placed in the middle of both teens, hates being a quiet middleman.
"Y/N and Mikasa are cousins." He blurts.
Eren's jaw drops, "What?!" His fingers thread through his hair once again, this time gripping at the roots because what the actual fuck. "You're fucking with me, right?"
Armin shakes his head vehemently, "Deadass. They even have the same last name! You'd have never guessed, right?"
"Well, not really. Like, at all."
"Trust me, I wish it wasn't true either." Mikasa sighs.
Eren's arms flail before him defensively, "No! It's not that I wish it weren't true, it's just that it's hard to believe considering how you guys are like polar opposites. I mean she's so... y'know-" He awkwardly shrugs his shoulders, expecting the action to speak the words he couldn't find in himself to utter out loud. "And you're... y'know..."
Armin coughs, "Emo."
"I'm not emo! As a matter of fact, I'm not even a goth, contrary to popular belief. I'm just edgy, how hard is it to look up, people?!"
"...what's the difference?"
"Oh, shut up, Armin! That's why your balls haven't dropped!"
"You promised you wouldn't bring that up anymore!"
"Armin, your balls haven't dropped?"
"Oh, look! We're here!"
As Eren looked before them, he was met with the front of an impressive industrialized soccer stadium. The words 'Home of the Scouts' were engraved above the entrance in proud bold letters. He notices that they are currently standing in the middle of the massive parking lot, containing multiple first class busses bearing the titles 'Stohess Stallions'.
Guessing that those belong to the opposing team, and that team was no where to be found, Eren concludes that both teams must be inside already. Which begs the question, how late is this trio?
"You're in the way."
Eren nearly jumps out of his skin at the sudden stern voice, and the freight was not limited to himself. Armin squeaks and hides behind his two friends, using them as human shields, though Mikasa simply whips around with a nasty scowl at her face because, who would have the audacity?
Oh, that's who.
"Hitch." She grits.
Coming face to face with a group of girls clad in forest green shorts and jersey's, though their matching team jackets obscured the latter, was intimidating, to say the least. The one standing with the most pride, right at the front and center, wore a smug smirk on her face that her short and wavy dirty blonde hair framed beautifully.
"Well, well, well, would you look at who we have here." She drawls with a laugh. "This is such an interesting trio you guys have going on."
"Mikasa who is this, and why did she come up to us like an anime villain?" Eren whispers towards the ravenette.
"Just our luck." The girl mutters under her breath, not at all a just answer in Eren's eyes, but he was not about to voice his thoughts.
The stranger eyeballs Eren in a way that a certain Ackerman did just a few hours earlier in the day, though this time it did not have him weak in the knees, instead an eerie shiver ran down the length of his spine and caused him to gulp down a yelp.
"Come lookin' for a barf bag, new kid?" She decides to single him out directly, "You know, it's almost funny. I always have the same reaction you did when I see Ackerman as well! I don't blame you, hell, I'd even praise you if it wasn't so disgustingly embarrassing." She jests. "You are new aren't ya? Man, the balls you must have to pull that stunt on your very first day. Oh, the look on her face was enough to have me in tears, I've got to tell you."
"It wasn't on purpose." He mumbles with an eye roll.
"Oh, be careful Hitch. You'll make him mad and we just had our jerseys dry cleaned." Comes a voice from beside her, one of her teammates presumably. This draws out many more chuckles from the group of girls, causing Eren's cheeks to heat up from the jab at his poor stomach.
That voice, low but smooth, causes both Armin and Mikasa to stiffen, as if they had recognized it.
"No way..." Armin mutters, his eyes widening in surprise as the owner of the voice made herself visible.
Another blonde, though this one a paler tone, with glacial blue eyes and a sloped nose emerged from the group, a large bag slung over her shoulders and purple cleats hanging from her fingers.
She had an aura about her, one familiar to Eren. One that wrapped itself around every throat and forced the people around her to pay her heed.
"You're right, Annie. Coach would bench us if we happened to sully them and he can't afford to bench his star players." Hitch agrees, though her eyes are not on her apparent teammate. Instead, they seemed to be inspecting Armin and Mikasa's faces, clearly amused by their starstruck expressions.
"Kasa, do something..." Armin whispers.
"What do you want me to do, hex her?"
"Mikasa, long time no see." Annie continues. It seems that the two know each other, perhaps they are old friends? What a heartwarming reunion. "How's it feel living in your cousins shadow?"
Or, perhaps not.
Mikasa's eyes darken and she begins to fumble in her bag for a pair of scissors, "I quite like the shadows, it gives me a place to properly plan your downfall. Maybe even your murder."
Hitch gasps and feigns a frightened expression, "Oh shiver me timbers, small emos are so scary."
"I'll show you scary cunt-"
"Hey hey hey! What's going on here?" Connie unexpectedly appears from behind the trio, his arms making their way around their shoulders. "You guys will be late if you keep loitering around."
"You could never be Bokuto." One of the girls murmur.
"Oh, Connie, I'm so glad you're here. Bend down a little will you? I feel like I have something stuck in my teeth." Hitch jests as she rubs a finger across her pearly whites.
"Aha, funny." Connie grits, "Hey, how's Marlowe by the way? I imagine he's better since he left you for, who was it again?" He asks with a false pensive look.
"Her mom." Armin declares with a proud grin.
The girl clenches her jaw and scowls, "Fuck you, Connie. Isn't yours chilling upside down on a roof?"
"Wrong AU, hitch."
"At least my hair doesn't make me look like I call corporate." Connie retorts.
"Yeah, well at least-"
"Hitch, we don't have time for this." Annie interrupts, holding her wrist out and allowing her teammate to glance at her watch... is that a Rolex? "We still need to warmup."
Eren doesn't think he has ever seen Connie's eyes darken as much as they did then, shooting daggers at the blonde on par with the ones Mikasa fires at her cousin. "You finally decide to talk, Annie?" He calls the girl out.
Without even sparing him a glance, she states a monotone, "I have nothing to say to you." And walks away from the group in pursuit for the entrance.
Following her departure, Hitch scowls at the fact that she too should follow. "Whatever, I'll save my energy for your little friends on the field. You better watch your captain, it'd be a shame if she forgets her place and mysteriously finds herself on her knees where she belongs."
"Don't dish out what you can't take." Connie asserts.
The girl simply rolls her eyes, "Let's go." She says and takes her leave, taking her army of followers along with her.
"Saweetie did it better!" Armin yells after her, to which Mikasa agrees and waves her hand daintily at the group.
"Man, you are having the worst of luck today, aren't you, Eren?" Connie says with a guffaw.
Eren groans and holds his head in his hands. "Trust me, I know."
"I'm surprised you held your own, Connie. Considering that was literally Annie... and she's with Stohess." Mikasa says.
The boy sighs, "Yeah, I know. Fortunately, Reiner found out yesterday, so we weren't as blind sided. Though, we still haven't told the team, and that's been a topic of discourse amongst a couple of our friends." He answers, and the pained expression on his face almost forces Eren to feel sorry for him.
Almost.
Shaking his head lightly to disperse his frown, he instead returns his attention towards the brunet once again. "Anyway, don't worry about Hitch. She's always like that. It's petty school rivalry shit that we used to have with Marley till they shut that school down. Now Stohess thinks they need to step up and claim the spot as our rivals." He explains, though Eren laughs at the ridiculousness of his joke.
They're in high school, clearly it wouldn't actually be that serious, right?
Why is Eren the only one laughing?
"No literally, look." Connie says and juts a finger towards the busses they had spotted earlier. Eren hadn't spotted it before, but right under the school name seemed to be the words, 'Trost Academy rivals! Fuck Marley and Fuck Trost!'
"Oh..." Eren utters breathily, "We're too old for this shit."
"Anyway, we should really get going or else we won't find good seats." Armin ushers his friends with his hands.
"Oh!" Connie exclaims with a newfound grin, one that Eren thinks fits him better than his previous frown. "Don't worry about your seats, you can come chill with us. We've already saved some for you guys."
Armin gasps dramatically and his eyes nearly bulge out of his skull. "Y-you mean, your VIP section? We get to sit in VIP?!" He screeches. Even Mikasa seems taken aback, her jaw slack and her brows hiding behind her bangs, though she didn't dare voice it.
"Yup! Though I had no idea it was called that, Sasha is gonna freak when I tell her!" The teen buzzes with anticipation. "I'll lead the way, come on."
As they begin to follow him, Eren leans into Armin's ear to ask, "Why are they called the VIP seats?"
Armin sputters, "Why else, Eren? They're the best seats in the stadium. The plastics are the only ones to ever use the space, but today we're making history."
"We haven't even told you about the rest of their clique." Mikasa adds.
"The rest? There're more than the eight we've talked about?"
"Oh Eren... there are levels to this shit, okay? Not to mention, lore." Armin says whilst his fingers wiggle before Eren's face to build suspense.
"For instance, remember Annie from earlier? The blondie with blue eyes and a tongue as sharp as a dagger?" Mikasa asks.
"Yeah?"
"Well, she might not act like it, but she's a retired plastic."
"What? You mean she attended Trost at one point? Also, you can retire? Why would she retire?"
"She didn't just attend Trost, she was a founding member of the plastics. A true OG. She helped run our halls. In fact, I'd go as far to say that she was once closer to Y/N than Jean has ever been." Armin said.
"Then, what would make her willingly give that up?"
"Something so simple and obvious, yet achingly torturous that you wouldn't help but sympathize with her. Especially someone like you, wearing your heart on your sleeve like that." Mikasa lightly jabs at her friend.
"Just tell me, 'kasa. I'm not as soft hearted as you think I am." Eren grumbles.
"Unrequited love."
Eren's breath catches in his throat at her words, for he couldn't believe what she was implying. "W-what? You're telling me..."
"Yup," Armin decides to finish his sentence, "We're not sure which way it went or how exactly it went down, but...
One of those girls loved the other far deeper than just mere friendship."

Todo headcannons/drabble
The lack of love yall show Todo is INSANE, but its alright… imma do our himbo hottie some justice
Warnings: lil bit of smut, mentions of Todo being a much cause he for sure is.
Being Todos girlfriend was… indescribable.
You two meet senior year of college you were a fashion major and wanted to explore one of the most fasionable places in the workd…japan.
The only love on your mind was love for clothes not romance with any men.
So when a big beefy man is standing in the door way you barely pay him any mind even though hes flexing every muscle you pay him no mind.
He thinks its love at first sight from your beauty alone and he was going to introduce himself but the sweet intoxicating aroma of your perfume makes his brain short circuit and forget about stranger danger… and boundaries… and introductions.
IT’s not until “my beautiful tiger lily a flower as delicate as you shouldnt be carrying such a heavy load allow me” to an unaware you whos more focused on where to get lunch from.
Hes talking about you carrying all the fabrics you have thats overflowing your bag from class and not just any bag but your denim telfar and it all happens so fast.
Hes grabbing your bag thinking hes being a gentlemen (mans is delusional okay) but youre from new york and the last time a man touched your bag he was halfway down the train platform with it and your laptop.
So off pure instinct you swing as hard as you can.
This is no cliche experience where youre the first woman who can put him on his ass, no! The man is a brickhouse you basically punched a wall. The pain shoots through your hand faster than the curses can fly out your mouth and Yuji, poor poor Yuji is witnessing it all has to come to the rescue.
“I am so sorry about my— him” he apologizes as you craddle your hand to your chest fighting back tears. That was a punch that would have caved a man's chest in.
You have to wear a cast for 3 weeks and Todo takes it upon himself to become your personal servant and he seems more than happy to? You make not to ask Yuji what was wrong with him…again and if all men were like him.
No man is like Todo Aoi.
The man may wbe delusional but hes smitten. For the next 3 weeks he’s at your door 8am sharp ready to make breakfast and aid you in whatever you need and ogling every morning when you open the door at the different ways you style your hair and clothes.
You swear He almost faints the day you open the door and you two have on the same matching nike swishy joggers. He paired his with a white tee while yours with a black graphic tee tied up and a bucket hat.
You’re also convinced he has stars in his eyes when he realizes its his tee that he left 3 days ago on accident not wanting to get messy while making you onigiri.
Oh yes this man cooks! and will cook 3 meals a day which isnt a shock look at how big he is?! He takes advantage of your dominant hand being in a cast and your lack of knowledge on how to use chopsticks to feed you.
Of course you put up a fight but if a fine ass 6 foot 4 pure muscle chef wants to buy your groceries cook and feed you… who were you to deny?!
He listens to your music while he cooks but loves meg thee stallion.
Back to you wearing his shirt He notices you didnt care youve known him for only 2 weeks and when your fashion mind got ahold of something your brain knew no limits.
He loves hearing you talk about fashion and clothes and accompanying you on your shopping hauls, using carrying the bags as an excuse. So a few weeks later when your hand is fully healed and he’s still opening every door, carrying every bag and feeding you with chopsticks at a restaurant he just had to bring you to, your forced to realize you actually enjoy spending time with him.
Not only is he a foodie as much as you he takes the best pictures… Because he stares at you so much he knows all you’re best angles… all of them… And because he’s a native he knows the best photography spots.
Its when he takes you to a lounge restaurant that has music and food when you learn alot more about Todo, this man never said how much he loves to dance!
You call it his lil dancey dance which he IMMEDIATELY corrects and tells you “its the boogie woogie”
Dancey dance, like you said.
It’s almost 3am when the two of you leave and although you two had been drinking sake all night he seemed completely sober and maybe it was because he was so big.
He goes completely tender, heart doing flips when you use his bicep as leverage to guide you down the street. It makes him feel like a man and with you being as strong willed and stubborn as you are, allowing him to lead, makes him feel honored.
Pulling a cherry blossom from a tree you two were walking under and it feels like a scene from a movie as you smell it and smile up at him his strength making more shower around you two. To him though this was how his world always looked when you were around.
Delusional or lover boy?
Todo is a heavy sleeper so when you Wake up to the sound of the alarm wrapped in his arms dressed in his tshirt your scarf on your head you’re shocked. What shocks you more is his usual bun isnt bunning his hair is sprawled around his face over his shoulders, long lashes touching the tips of his cheeks and has his lips always been this full and pretty? Were you catching feelings? Oh you were fucked.
For the rest of the day you can’t help but be awkward and sometimes you appreciate his obliviousness because he assumes you’re being strange because you’re hungry and goes to try a new recipe that he couldn’t wait to cook for you and you busy yourself with fashion…things.
You actually become submerged and your eyes can’t leave the screen not even when he request you taste what he’s made. You open your mouth leaning over to take whatever he made in your mouth not questioning what it would be until you notice it’s his fingers. He always fed you with chopsticks its when you make eye contact with him that— are his eyes in the shape of hearts?
You try to avoid him after that you didnt come to japan for romance you came for fashion. But of course hes not going for that this man knows your schedule, your habits, your hiding spots and your period cravings he would find you anywhere and he’s not letting you go until you tell him why you’ve been avoiding him.
Okay maybe he’s not that oblivious. So when you admit you’re feelings and tell him about your crush he’s back to heart eyes and the first thing out of his mouth is “let’s get married”
The man is Delusional. But the more you spend time with him after officially becoming his girlfriend you realize he’s delusional not dumb.
Certified munch™️
Will eat you like the last meal before war.
Will suck your soul out of you like a crab leg.
He speaks sign language… with his tongue… on your clit.
And when your in the brink of conciousness thats when he pulls all 9 inches out. Nothing about this man is small or skinny.
Hes so tender though. Has a worship kink and honestly youre not suprised. He wants to worship and caress every inch of your body every curve.
Hes also a jealous man, how dare another man think hes worth of your smile.
Jealous sex with him is always 12/10… its like hes trying to prove himself to you all over again pulling out tricks hes never done before.
Its when his jealousy goes to far putting you in an embarassing situation that you almost end his life.
You want to fold his clothes with him in it but…
The only thing better than jealous sex was angry sex and you commanding him trying to over power him is the moment his soul no longer belongs to him.
“Youre such a jealous man” you hiss riding his length one hand pressed into his abs for leverage the other switching from his bicep to his shoulder leaving the indent of your acrylic nails.
“And you know that yet still… baby fuck” he grunts his head in your shoulder trying to hold onto his release but your just so tight and warm and the squelching sounds mixed with your heavy breathing has his two brain cells fighting to form a sentence.
“Fuck… dont ever do no dumb shit mmmm like that again” you snap grabbing the nape of his neck pulling him up by the hair there and he almost cums like that.
He loves when you take control as much as he loves you taking your anger out on him his thumb goes to play with your clit knowing hes not going to last much longer.
“Like this” he smirks applying pressure and your hands slip but hes there to catch the pace pushing his hips up to match the rhythm you set.
Your neighbors are not happy about your all night sessions but they wont say anything to the giant.
Aftercare is nothing less than special warm rag, massage, lofi music, the curtains open just enough to have the city lights on you and whatever 5 star meal he concocts up to make sure you eat before bed.
Tojis been a tenderoni for you since day 1.

Chapter 27 of Say My Name (Say it Twice) is here! Find it below, or read it on AO3!
Lucanis was not a man well-acquainted with the outdoors. His youth in Treviso taught him the nature of cities – the rhythm and pulse of life that flowed in clear patterns. Even when he did travel for a contract, House Dellamorte’s wealth ensured he did so, if not in luxury, then in comfort.
But, he’d read enough adventure stories as a boy to find Arlathan Forest fascinating, despite its utter lack of amenities. It was a place riddled with wild magic and ancient mysteries, but best of all, it was where Rook thrived.
In the forest, Rook’s cheeks were always flushed, her eyes gleaming. She ran along the trails with an almost youthful energy, an eagerness that Lucanis found enchanting. So when she asked him to accompany her and Taash on an excursion to the forest, it was an easy thing to say yes.
He and Taash stood by the merchant’s stall, Taash considering the wares while Lucanis watched Rook and Strife argue. The senior Veil Jumper was prickly at best, and while Lucanis couldn’t hear what they were talking about, it was clear that neither elf was happy.
“You stare daggers any harder, maybe he’ll actually die,” Taash said.
Lucanis glared at them.
Taash snorted. “You don’t scare me.”
He sighed. “I know.”
They moved to stand next to him, mimicking his posture – arms crossed and leaned against the wall beside the shop. They jutted their chin toward the arguing elves. “What’s his deal, anyway?”
Lucanis shrugged. “He always has a bone to pick with Rook.” Every time they came to Arlathan, Strife had a critique for Rook, some new grievance to air. It reminded him too much of Caterina, he realized. No wonder he felt on edge around the man.
“Are you kidding me?!” Rook shouted.
Instantly, Lucanis shoved off of the wall to come to her aid, but Taash put an arm out to block his path.
“Wait,” they said, voice low.
Strife shook his head. “You don’t think things through, Rook.”
“This has nothing to do with the Veil Jumpers–”
“Doesn’t it? If you’re too distracted–”
“I can’t believe you think you can–”
“–or worse, heartbroken–” he continued, shouting over her.
“You’re not my dad, Strife!”
The whole camp fell silent at Rook’s outburst.
“Oof,” Taash whispered with a wince.
Strife blinked at Rook, and for the span of a heartbeat, there was hurt in the man’s eyes. “I’m not,” he said. “A good thing for us both, I think.”
Rook’s hands twitched at her sides, and for a moment Lucanis thought she might actually swing at Strife. Instead, she marched away and out of the camp.
Lucanis batted Taash’s arm away and hurried after Rook, shooting a glare at Strife as he went. The older man shot one right back at him, chin high and gaze imperious.
Angry, Spite said. And scaaaaared. He glared at the man. Hurt. Rook! But… he grinned at Lucanis. Rook hurt. Him too!
Lucanis didn’t spare a single thought for Strife and his hurt feelings. He hurried down the trail, only slowing when he saw Rook standing at the edge of the lake, her back to him, wiping at her face. He paused, giving her space to regain her composure, and himself a moment to bring his anger to a simmer.
Rook could – and would – fight her own battles. She needed him cool-headed and comforting, not spoiling for a fight.
Taash joined him and grunted. “Ugh. Why does family stuff always have to be so complicated?”
Lucanis snorted. “If I ever figure it out, I’ll be sure to tell you.”
They smiled at him as he passed on his way to stand beside Rook.
“I’m okay,” she said before he could ask. She glanced at him and gave him a shaky smile. Her eyes were red-rimmed, but her cheeks were drying. “Ugh!” She shook her head and wiped at her eyes again. “I hate that I cry when I’m mad,” she said. “It’s humiliating.”
Lucanis wanted to reach out to her, to squeeze her hand and reassure her that she wasn’t alone. But somehow, beyond the safety of the Lighthouse, he wasn’t sure if he should. They probably should have talked about this the other night.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
She shook her head. “No, it’s fine.” She smiled. “Really,” she added after his skeptical look. She glanced back at Taash. “Now, let’s go find this dragon.”
Taash grinned. “Hell, yeah!”
For awhile they walked in silence. Taash was certain the Fangscorcher was holed up in a ruin far to the north of the forest, so they had a bit of a hike ahead of them. The silence wouldn’t have bothered Lucanis, if he wasn’t so worried about Rook. What could she and Strife have disagreed about to the point where she’d wanted to hit him?
Ussssss, Spite hissed.
Lucanis frowned. That didn’t make sense. Strife barely knew him. And how would the man even know about his and Rook’s burgeoning relationship? They’d only just talked it through a few nights ago.
“Hey, Lucanis,” Taash said, pulling him from his worrisome thoughts. “When we were at that market? The lady selling ribbons was into you.”
–ahhhhhhh. “Smelled like strawberries and blood.”
“Hey. Spite. Eyes on me. That is a no. We do not talk about what other people smell like without their permission. Okay?”
Hisssssssss. “Fine.”
Lucanis blinked, suddenly back in complete control of his body. He hadn’t even noticed the seeping chill in his neck until Spite was speaking. The demon hadn’t taken control, at least, not in the way he used to. Instead, he’d left Lucanis in charge of his body, while… borrowing his mouth and sharing his senses. Lucanis had been present and aware the whole time, their voices twining, and as soon as Spite was done, Lucanis was back to his usual self.
He frowned, and glanced at Taash. “You’re not scared of Spite?”
They shrugged. “I’m Rivaini. We’ve got all kinds of spirits.” They said it like it was nothing, as if demons spoke with mortal tongues all the time. And, from what little Lucanis knew of Rivaini Seers, he supposed that might be true. He should speak with Seer Rowan, perhaps she would have some insight about this new sort of harmony he had with Spite.
Then Taash’s original point struck him. “What makes you think the ribbon seller was interested in me?” If the woman had been interested or, Maker-forbid, flirting with him, it’d been completely lost on Lucanis.
He caught Rook’s smirk at his question, but if she felt even a twinge of jealousy, she hid it well.
Taash smirked. “Caught her scent.”
“Not. Fair! You just. Said!”
Rook laughed at that, which soothed Spite’s irritation some. The demon liked it when Rook laughed, especially if he was the cause. Lucanis couldn’t deny, he enjoyed her mirth just as much. And after her anger and tears earlier, he was relieved to hear her laugh again.
“Shouldn’t be much further,” Taash said. “Come on, this way.” Their sudden shift in demeanor brought any banter to an end. Taash was in dragon hunter mode, so Rook followed after them dutifully.
And Lucanis followed her, always ready to have her back.
Mierda, fighting a dragon was no joke. Sure, he’d fought the one in Treviso, and been by Rook’s side in Hossberg when they’d fought both of the gods’ blighted dragons, but now he knew the difference. The Fangscorcher had been much more cunning than Ghilan’nain’s pawns.
By the time they reached the eluvian room, Lucanis was desperate for a hot bath and even hotter cup of coffee.
“Good job out there,” Taash said. “You guys didn’t totally suck.” They smirked and Rook laughed.
Lucanis thought she sounded as tired as he felt. “We have a good teacher,” he said.
Taash snorted, but there was a flicker of a smile on their face. “Yeah. Well. Thanks.” They shrugged. “Now, go be gross together or whatever.”
Rook laughed again, shaking her head as Lucanis scowled at Taash’s retreating back. When he turned to look at Rook, she was already watching him.
She rolled her neck and sighed. “I need a bath,” she said.
Lucanis shoved away the image that materialized at the thought of Rook in a bathtub. “Go,” he said. “I’ll make a fresh pot of coffee.”
She eyed him, noting the dust in his leathers and the smeared dirt on his forehead. He obviously needed a bath as well. Maybe someday they could bathe together, but not tonight. Lucanis’s throat tightened with anxiety merely at the thought. As much as the thought of Rook in the bath tantalized him, he definitely was not ready for that.
Rook must have seen it in his face, or heard it in his silence, because her gaze softened. “Meet me in the music room later?”
He nodded, not trusting his voice. There was no way he could speak and not reveal just how much the thought of her affected him.
“Bring. Rook. Coffee?” Spite asked when Lucanis didn’t speak.
She grinned. “I’d like that, Spite. Thank you.”
Lucanis shook his head and smiled. “It’s going to take awhile to get used to that.”
Rook raised an eyebrow at him. “To what?”
Did it not seem different to her? “How Spite’s talking, now.” He shuffled his feet, rolling his neck and shoulders experimentally. There was only the barest twinge of ice at the base of his skull.
“We’re. Sharing!” Spite crowed.
“Yes,” Lucanis said. Though he didn’t fully understand how.
Her eyes darted over his face. “It seems like an improvement.” Her tone was careful, almost probing. She wanted to be sure he was okay.
“It is,” he said.
“Give is. BETTER! Than. Take!” Spite added.
She smiled. “Good! Now–” she put her hand on his upper arm ”–you go wash up first,” she said. “I’ll check in with the other and meet you upstairs later.”
“All right,” he said, returning her smile with a small one of his own. Then he hurried upstairs to do as she said.
Freshly scrubbed and two steaming cups of coffee in hand, Lucanis entered music room bone-tired, but happy. Rook sat at the piano, her hair damp and down around her shoulders. She wasn’t playing, her hands merely trailed the keys mindlessly as she hummed to herself.
“Embria,” he murmured as he handed a cup to her.
Her smile was bright as she took the coffee. She brought it to her nose, inhaling the steam and sighing in contentment. “Thank you.”
He went to his usual chair (usual chair, usual mugs – how quickly she’d become a usual part of his life) and sat with his legs outstretched and ankles crossed.
She spun to face him, straddling the piano bench. “So,” she said. “The ribbon seller?”
“Mierda,” he chuckled. “That’s what you want to talk about?”
“Did you know she was flirting with you?”
He snorted. “No.”
She tilted her head. “Did you know when I was flirting with you?”
Lucanis scowled at her playfully. “Not at first.”
Her smile widened, and her eyes gleamed with mischievous humor.
He shook his head. “I never know when – or why – someone is flirting.”
“It can be hard to tell,” she admitted. “As for why,” she said, and gave him a leisurely look up and down. “Have you seen yourself?”
He blushed and shifted in his seat. “Rook.”
Her smile was slow and tantalizing. “I’m just saying, you’re easy on the eyes, Dellamorte.”
Now his scowl was real. He didn’t understand how people found complete strangers attractive, and he wasn’t entirely comfortable with the idea that random people on the street might find him… desirable. But, he couldn’t deny he was curious as to what Rook liked about him. He just didn’t know how to ask such a thing.
Lucanis shook his head. “I don’t understand it,” he said.
“What?” Her demeanor changed at his tone. Gone was the teasing glint in her eyes and she sat up a little straighter.
“Attraction,” he said. “I know some people are objectively appealing–” like Teia and Viago ”–but I look at them like one admires a fine painting.” To be admired from a distance, never touched.
She hummed as she considered his point. “Do those paintings ever make you feel something?”
“Sometimes,” he said. Then he smirked at her. “Though I’ve always found music to be more… stimulating.”
She huffed at that, her cheeks going pink. “That counts as flirting, you know.”
Did it? It was true, and he’d said it because he knew she’d like it. Was that all there was to flirting? He frowned. “Did it work?”
She laughed. “Yes!”
He smiled. “Good.”
“Lucanis. Rook. Belong together now?” Spite asked.
They looked at each other and the warmth in Rook’s eyes made his chest feel flushed.
“Yes,” they said in unison.
“And Spite?” The demon asked. “I belong. Too?”
“Yes,” Rook said, her voice unwavering.
Lucanis didn’t speak. He knew now that there was no ridding himself of the demon – wasn’t even sure he’d want to if he could. There was a growing fondness in his heart for Spite, like a troublesome little cousin he couldn’t avoid.
But when he prodded at the memory of what Zara had done to him, of the dark and the pain and the isolation, of what she had stolen from him and left him in return… he found it was still tender. Even after Spite and Rook’s help, it was still a wound. Not quite open, but certainly not healed.
Lucanis? Spite asked, just in his head, like it used to be. Just them. The demon’s voice sounded small, almost frightened. And the way that stung at Lucanis was answer enough.
“Yes, Spite,” he said, staring into his cup. “You belong, too.”
“Make. Rook. Happy?”
She grinned. “Yes. Very much so.”
Lucanis blushed again, but couldn’t contain a smile of his own.
“Rook wasn’t happy. Today.”
She frowned, then made a displeased little noise. “You mean Strife.”
Spite growled at the man’s name.
“What was that about?” Lucanis asked. He’d been curious, but then the dragon had required his full attention. There’d been no time for wondering about Rook and her mentor’s argument.
“Nothing,” she said, too quickly.
He waited, but she didn’t speak or look at him. “Embria,” he said, his voice soft. “Tell me.”
She glared at him, but sighed. “It’s just Strife forgetting, yet again, that I don’t actually value his opinion.”
Lucanis’s stomach clenched with a sudden suspicion that she was protecting him. “His opinion on what?”
She gave him a stony look.
“Me?” He frowned. “How does he even know–”
“How do you think?”
He blinked and then growled. “Bellara.”
“I doubt she even realizes she mentioned it,” Rook said. “But, Strife is convinced that my being with anyone is a huge mistake.” She rolled her eyes. “As if I care about what he thinks.”
Lucanis gave her a sad smile. “Don’t you?”
She groaned. “I don’t want to!”
He understood that feeling all too well. And while he was eager to get Caterina back, he did not relish the idea of telling her about Rook. But, that was a problem for another day.
“He cares about you,” he said.
“I know.” She shook her head, staring down into the mug cradled in both hands. “We’ve always disagreed,” she said. She dropped her voice low to mimic Strife’s. “You’re more stubborn than a hungry halla!”
“Stubborn. Is. GOOD!” Spite said.
Rook laughed. “I’m glad you think so, Spite.”
The demon beamed at her, and then at Lucanis. See?! Rook. Likes. ME!
Lucanis said nothing, waiting for Rook to continue.
She sighed. “The worst part is that, a lot of the time, I think he’s right about me.” She shrugged. “I don’t think things through. I let my feelings run away with me, or get in the way of the job. And I don’t know when to back down from a fight.”
Lucanis stood and moved to sit across from her on the piano bench. He mimicked her, straddling the bench and sitting so close their knees touched. “Embria,” he said.
When she didn’t look at him, he put two fingers under her chin and guided her face up to meet his gaze.
“All of those things?” He said. “They’re what make you, you.” He gave her a tremulous smile. “They’re your heart, Embria. Don’t ever doubt it.”
She blinked against the tears that welled in her eyes. “Even when it gets people hurt?”
He remembered her words, warm and reassuring in his mind not even a week ago. “Whatever the consequences, I’ll be there to help you.”
“Together,” Spite added.
He let his hand fall from her chin, but she took it in hers and pressed it to her lips. “Thank you,” she whispered. “Both of you.”
Lucanis held her gaze, marveling at how luminous the violet tone was behind the shimmer of her unshed tears. He wanted to kiss her, and mierda they were so, so close. But he didn’t want their first kiss to be so… sad.
So, he leaned forward and pressed his forehead to hers. Their noses brushed and she nuzzled against him seemingly on instinct. His heart raced at the proximity. They were touching in so many places at once – knees, hands, faces, so close they shared shaky breaths. The intimacy, the trust, and that she kept her word and pushed no further, all combined to leave him breathless.
Lucanis knew, when he finally did kiss this woman, it would be a life changing event. He would never be the same again. He looked forward to it more than anything else in his life thus far.

"I'm a Man Too" P.SH × Reader
• Sunghoon x Yeji's best friend! Reader •
Warnings: slight angst, reader is Sunghoon's Sister's best friend, smut, slowburn, underage [consensual] sex, fluff, p in v, idk what else. Nana x Shoji inspired situation !!

‧₊˚❀༉‧₊˚.‧₊˚❀༉‧₊˚.‧₊˚❀༉‧₊˚.‧₊˚
Growing up with multiple hobbies sounds chaotic, especially for an introvert. At least, that's what you thought. Still, you joined a different club or sport every semester whenever it caught your attention. Or rather, when someone from said club catches your eye.
In your first year of middle school, you joined the student council after you heard about a cute guy thinking of running. Which, in the end, you grew tired of, having practically no rest after school due to the constant meetings.
So you quit in your 2nd year, only to sign up for the art club to impress your friend who you've been crushing on for a while. Realizing you held no real passion towards art as well, you decided to drop it.
On your last year in middle school, with your mind clouded with the thoughts of graduating and a certain bad boy who liked strong girls, you once again dove into club applications head first.
The martial arts club, to be exact. The boy was in the club since his first year and was already advanced compared to the new members, so he also aided in training the others alongside the coach.
Imagine the ecstasy you felt when he brushed a hand down your back to fix your posture. You took this club pretty seriously at first, since the bad boy became your training buddy. It was all going well until he announced his relationship with another member of the team.
Heartbroken, you started showing up to practice less and less until you practically quit. Deciding you had enough of chasing after boys, you focus on yourself and academics until you graduate.
You were finally yourself, doing whatever you wanted with your friends. As much as you could, before it was time to take exams to get into the high school you wanted.
One time, while you were at a year-end party for the seniors, you stumbled upon one of the prettiest girls you've seen. Park Yeji. She was famous for being Park Sunghoon's sister. That's all she was practically known for. Being the brother of a young, pro figure skater who appeared on tv multiple times.
A bit tipsy from the spiked punch they were serving at the party, you had the confidence to just strut your heeled feet towards her and strike a conversation. To which she gladly participated in, genuinely having fun with you.
After the party and a couple hangouts with just the two of you, you started feeling a bond form. Introducing one another to your other friends and family, Park Yeji instantly became a close and trusted friend friend.
Close enough that you both applied for and got into the same high school. It was only a matter of time before she introduced you to her brother.
It went well, to say the least. At least, that's what it seemed to Yeji. Coming home from a little cafe date with you, she didn't expect her brother to be home early.
"Oh, Sunghoon oppa! (Apologies if you think oppa is cringe, but I lowkey headcanon that Sunghoon gets upset with Yeji when she doesn't address him as such). I didn't know you were home. Don't you have practice?"
Your friend queried as your eyes trailed towards the tall boy sitting in their living room couch, a random documentary set up on the tv. Not even sparing a glance until he heard his sister's voice.
Once he finally turned his head towards the door, your eyes met, and you couldn't help but stare in awe at his features. Similar to Yeji's, but more defined. So handsome.
As if relishing in his beauty marks, his plump lips, his sharp eyes, and his pale skin, you fail to hear that your friend was prompting you to give yourself an introduction.
You only noticed when she nudged you with her elbow and cleared throat, raising her eyebrows and nodding towards her brother then at you, expectantly.
"O-oh! Uh, right. It's our first time meeting.." You mumbled, quickly introducing yourself and bowing as a sign of respect. To which he reciprocated, standing up from his seat to introduce himself and bowing as well.
Oh god. His voice is fucking dreamy.
You almost mentioned aloud before your friend pulled you towards her room. "We're just going to watch a movie in my room, don't bother us, okay?" She warned. The boy only shrugged it off and placed all of his attention back on the tv.
Of course, he wouldn't. You knew from his short introduction and a few stories from Yeji that Sunghoon's not a very social person.
Still, you hoped he'd at least take a second glance your way.
And he does, but much to your dismay, you didn't notice. He doesn't realize it right away, but maybe. Just maybe, he found you attractive.
The moment you stepped into your friends room, she gingerly tells you to sit on the bed. Her sudden mood swing confused you. After all, you two were just giggling with each other before stepping foot into her house.
"Sure." Sensing the tension, you don't question her and just obey. You expected her to sit next to you, but no. She remains standing and positions herself in front of you with crossed arms.
She sternly calls out your name before starting, "My brother is strictly off-limits."
You were surprised that she caught onto you quickly, yet also offended by the sudden (correct) accusation.
"What-" you tried to at least TRY and deny but she cut you off, "We both know you gave a history for falling fast. But didn't you say you were trying to change?" She reprimanded.
Realizing you couldn't fool her, you just hung your head low and listened. "Please. I care about both of you." She said as she grasped your hand. "I don't want either of your feelings getting hurt."
Still struggling to look her in the eyes, you just tightened your grip on her hands. "Promise me. Look me in the eyes and promise me you won't get with my brother." Her voice cracked mid sentence.
If you weren't being practically interrogated right now, you would have chuckled. Who would have thought Yeji was just as protective as her brother. The same brother who warded off any boy who decided to ever so slightly glance at Yeji for more than a second.
Actually, recalling how you told her everything about my past romantic experiences, you realize she's right to worry about you going after her brother.
- flashback -
"Hey Yeji, have you decided which high school you're gonna apply for?" To which she replied some local one, reasoning it's the same one her brother goes to. [Imagine Sunghoon's just 2 years older than her]
"What about you? Have you decided?" You shook your head no. All you've been focusing on recently was Yeji, partying, and graduating. Now that you've done all three (not Yeji), you're practically clueless.
Sighing, you stare at some blank space and drift off. I'll just apply to multiple and go to whichever accepts me.
••• [ the first day of high school ]
You bump into a surprised Yeji. She wasn't aware you applied for the same school. You didn't tell her to surprise her. Of course, being the good friend she is, she gladly helped introduce you to the other people in class she already knew.
A few cute boys she made you face already made you blush a bit. Cat-eyed Jungwon, Deep voiced Riki, and Smiley Sunoo. Your best friend immediately caught on.
"I get the idea you came here to get a boyfriend.." "N-no! I swear I came here 'cause I heard the education here was good." That was partially true. Your parents recommended this school to you after you told them Yeji was planning on going here too.
She narrowed her eyes at your oh-so-obvious excuse. "Oh, come on. You're telling me you didn't find any of them cute?" "Of course not. They're just my guy friends from middle school. I had many guy friends that if I didn't keep my cool, it would've been bothersome."
Many guy friends.. it's not such a bad thought, actually. Speaking of which, you've never had a guy friend before. All of the boys you've interacted with before, you've had a crush on. And Yeji knew it.
--------
Sighing and understanding why she cared so deeply about her brother, you gave in. "Ok. Yeji, I promise I won't ever think of your brother as a boyfriend-to-be." You vow with genuine determination.
After hearing your words, she finally softened. Releasing the breath she didn't realize she was holding "Try and treat him like a normal person..okay?" You nod. "Alright. I've decided. I'll befriend your brother!"
She stared at me as if you've grown two heads. Seeing her confusion towards my sudden swear, you explain. It's because you most likely won't be able to control your feelings.
Her confused eyes morphed into soft ones. "Wether or not you can control your feelings isn't easy to do. In your case, keeping him as a friend actually IS the best thing you can do."
Her permission to let me befriend him was implied. Lunging forward, you hugged her, making both of you tumble down towards the floor with a loud thud. "Thank you Yejii!! I'll do my best!"
You appreciated her. Letting someone close to her brother isn't an easy thing to do, yet she trusts you enough.
A knock on her door startled you two , but before you could get off of her, the door swung open. "What was that sound?" A worried Sunghoon appeared. His thick yet adorable eyebrows drew close together.
"Ah, Oppa." Your friend deadpanned as if you didn't just tackle her. Seeing him again made your heart skip a beat. Not just because he caught you and his sister in such a position.
No. Wait. I shouldn't get this excited. He's just a friend.
"We were playing around. You can close the door now.. please..!" you explained cheerily, adding the plead at the end when you remembered this wasn't your house.
Yeji just rolled her eyes as her brother just looked at the two of you with an unreadble expression. Slowly shutting the door.
"Well, at least he might think you're a lesbian now." Now it was your turn to roll your eyes. You hoisted her back up on the bed and shrugged at the idea. It's for the better. You reminded yourself. I have to work hard and befriend him.
And so you did. It took about a month before you amd Sunghoon could finally converse without the awkwardness. A whole month where you've been trying to just get to know about him more.
And so here you are. Huddled up in the Parks' living room. Sitting on the floor around their coffee table with Yeji and one of Sunghoon's friends; Jay.
Soda cans were scattered all over the table, some random TV show playing in the background to fill in the silence whenever you'd try to think of something to say next.
Yeji and Jay were having some conversation of their own, leaving Sunghoon and you to your own devices. You wanted to strike up a conversation, but nothing comes to mind at all.
"You seem so quiet." Sunghoon suddenly pointed out, staring at you with those sharp eyes. He went on with how Yeji always said yoj was energetic and talkative, in contrast to how you always acted when you were near him. Then he licked his dry lips and... shit.
Just friends. Just friends.
"No, not at all..!" Seeing your tense shoulders, he couldn't say anything and just stared at you with that same unreadable expression of his.
Jay and Yeji seemed to notice the tension forming and broke the ice for you. Jay hurriedly suggested that maybe you weren't used to talking to guys.
Yeji just cackled cackled at his statement, "That's definitely not the case. She even had a boyfriend until recently." She exposed, but you didn't mind. You were usually open about it to your other friends anyway. Still, you yelled her name in faux offense.
"How about we talk about it? Let's talk about our deepest, innermost secrets, so our friendship will deepen. That's what we did when we first met at the party." She nudged at you as you snickered at the memory.
"What party?" Sunghoon asked. He was unaware that his sister's been going to parties since her second year of middle school. He never allowed her to, after all. But who said she didn't sneak out after everyone else was asleep?
"Okay, I'll start!" She raised a can to her mouth to act as a microphone." I've been going to parties since I was in middle school! Okay, now it's your turn." She passed it to Jay, ignoring her brother's bewildered queries.
"Oh, uh. Shit man, I can't think of anything." You shook your head, "Nahhh, we all do. Come onnn, spit it out! We promise that whatever we drop here stays here." Singhing in defeat, he finally opens his mouth and raises the can to his chin with mumbles of protest.
"I was rejected by a girl before in front of my entire class. As of that wasn't bad enough she said I had bad breath, too." A mix of 'ooh's errupted from the 3 of you.
"Brutal." You commented, while Sunghoon was just snickering beside you, Yeji's party ordeal overshadowed by his friend's painful secret.
"You probably still do, though." He teased. "Oh shut up, that was like- 5 years ago."
"After that, I wore a mask and religiously brushed my teeth for 6 whole months!" You began to laugh too before he passed the mic (can) to you. Ah, my turn. You were dreading having to talk, but maybe it was fine.
So our friendship will deepen. Yeji's voice rang in your head.
"Uhh- what do you wanna know?" You asked as you took the can from Jay's grasp. Sunghoon's laughter finally died down, Yeji suggested to talj about your love life. And so you gladly accepted.
"First of all, gimme a second." You gulped down the remains of your drink, forgetting that it wasn't alchohol. I could've needed it if I was gonna spill everything.
. . .
Well, it turns out you didn't need it after all. At first, you were talking about the cute guy from the student government, then the words just kept on flowing out of your mouth until you were having a full-on dramatic story time about your ex crushes.
Your uneasiness left you as soon as you got to talking. And everyone was endeared by the way you spilled your heart out to them. "And then the next guy I fell in love at first sight with was my guy best friend at the time! Puppy-boy Sim Jaeyun!"
"Puppy-boy Sim Jaeyun?" Sunghoon echoed, laughing hysterically again, seemingly finding your love ordeals funny.
"But he really looked like a cute puppy, that Jaeyun! Especially when he smiles!" Your volume was getting loud now, similar to how you always talk to with Yeji. It gathered complains from said girl and Jay.
"Don't overdo it, now-" Yeji tried to interrupt and grab the makeshift mic from you, but Sunghoon interrupted, "So, the next one? who's next?"
You sat back down, excitedly starting as you recalled, "The next one was.." oh. Him. The one yoi took seriously the most. Lee Heeseung.
Flashbacks of how you used to interact flodded your memory. You had just now realized how he played with you. Always giving you teasing touches whenever he helped train and teach you Taekwondo, but ignoring you whenever someone else came near.
"No.." You didn't realize how you mumbled it aloud, and definitely not the tears that now flowed down your cheeks. Yeji became worried and called out your name to ask if you were alright.
Sunghoon also grew worried and asked what was suddenly wrong with you, placing a caring hand on your shoulder.
"See me after school?" Heeseung flashed his charming smile at me again, eyes not on me, but the girl he ended up dating a week later. "Come on, we can check out that café you were yapping about." He placed his hand on my shoulder, which I thought was a sign of affection. But actually, it was to make the girl from afar jealous. He used me.
"Don't!" You slapped the warmth away, startling them all. Sunghoon's eyes furrowed again, "don't..?" "Wah! I'm sorry Oppa! She probably didn't mean to hit you!" Yeji turned to you, "Hey, are you okay?"
You clung to her, just letting out all of your frustrations dampen her pretty sleeping dress.
Don't touch me... Don't touch me if you don't love me.

(From this part of the story, it will be in your pov)
After my outburst, Yeji led me to her room and laid me down her bed, where I cried myself to sleep. She left me there and walked back outside and softly closed the door behind her.
"Looks like she's staying over for the night." Yeji sighed, getting startled when he brother was standing right outside her door. "Jay fell asleep too. He fell asleep on the couch." He said with his signature deadpan tone. One of the things he has in common with his sister.
But Yeji could care less about his blabbers about Jay. "Say, Oppa.. you don't have a girlfriend, right?" "Why, did your classmates ask if I can bless them with my presence again?" He joked, which caused a disgusted face to bloom on Yeji's face.
"What's with that look? Hey, when I was in middle school, girls would flock to me! I just dont happen to have one right now." He quickly defended himself. He was never one to boast about this, but he didn't like the thought of his sister not thinking he was capable of pulling bitches.
"Heh." "Heh?" "I knew it.." Yeji began. "You were flirting with her today, weren't you? You're weird. You make your intentions so obvious."
Sunghoon stayed quiet at first, a faint blush adorning his usually place cheeks. If you were awake right now, your heartbeat would've paced again. "But she hates me.." He sighed, recalling how I violently pushed him away earlier. Insecurities rushing to his head.
"No, she doesn't." Sunghoon's head shot up, staring at his younger sister with eyes wide. "What?" "The truth is, when you and her first met, she immediately had a crush on you."
He couldn't believe what his sister was blabbing about. She sighed and put her slender hands on his shoulders, "..just please treat her well." That was all she said before she left her brother to go check up on Jay.

The next morning, I woke up facing a ceiling that definitely didnt belong to my room. Sitting uo immediately, I scanned the room and saw Yeji beside me. Seeing her calmed me down in a second. I was relaxing against her headboard until a flash of last night's happenings.
I tried to piece them together since my mind is still partially hazy from my sleep. Let's see.. uh. We were playing games.. watching tv.. and.. Oh. OH SHIT.
My hands flew to my face as I shrieked, much to Yeji's dismay. "What are you screaming about so early in the morning.." she grumbled, elbowing my side.
"YEJI, I FUCKING EMBARASSED MYSELF IN FRONT YOUR BROTHER AND HIS FRIEND LAST NIGHT. EMBARASSED ISN'T EVEN HALF OF IT, I PRACTICALLY DUG MY OWN SOCIAL GRAVE-" the girl beside you slapped a hand over your mouth. "For fucks sake it's 7 in the morning. Bitch about your bad decisions later.."
I grumbled against her mouth but just gave in since she practically clamped it on. She wouldn't take it off until I completely shut up. Maybe forgetting the fact that I just revealed to them how much of a love whore I was is the solution.
Slumping back to my sleeping position, I sighed. "Hey." called my friend, eyes still closed, but now she was laying on her stomach. "You still seem pretty hurt about the H situation."
When I said nothing, she kept talking. "...Sunghoon's no longer off-limits." What? "Why would you suddenly suggest that..?"
She finally opened her eyes and locked in with mine. "Because he's a good guy. He's the tyoe to really treasure his girlfriend. And he has feelings for you. I can guarantee it."
Her words went in one ear then out the other.
Yeji trusts me enough to take care of her brother.. "YEJIIII" I hug her close to me once more. "If you were a guy, I'd definitely date you instead." "Huh? Wha- let go of me- you're getting off topic again!"
"But I can't do that. Sunghoon's my important guy friend. How could he be my boyfriend?" Now it was her turn to be shocked. Did she actually just see him as just a friend now? Yeji thought.
//So baby come and get it//
My phone began to ring. My mom's caller ID popped up. "Oh shit, I forgot to tell her I was staying at yours for the night." I got off of the bed and took the call.
"Sorry Yeji, I gotta leave 'cause ma needs me for an errand. I'll see you at school, yeah?" Already opening the door, I waved her a goodbye. Heading out the door, I saw Jay still knocked out on the couch. I wonder where he is.
Wait. No. Don't even think about him. For Yeji.
On cue, their bathroom door opens, revealing Sunghoon in a gray tank top with his hair disheveled and wet. Fuck, are the gods testing me? "Good morning." Holy shit his morning voice.
"O-oh, Good Morning. I was just leaving. Thanks for having me." I bowed and b-lined for the door, ignoring his calls and offers for breakfast.

The past few weeks passed by in a blur, where Sunghoon has evidently been trying to talk to me more. Whilst I tried my damnest to avoid him. Just like this instant. When we were all gathered at Jay's house when he asked for help with a project.
"A movie?" I quipped. "Yeah, you mentioned that you liked going to the movies. If you're free on Sunday, I was thinking we could go together." With his words so smooth, an imaginary heart practically spawned itself next to him.
As he offered, Yeji was narrowing her eyes at her brother's so cliché strategy, but instantly shot wide open when you spoke, "No, I can't, sorry." Jab 1 "I like watching movies alone." Jab 2 " I can't really focus on appreciating a movie if I have a friend with me." Jab 3.
Sunghoon choked on his own saliva, and truth be told, Yeji was on the verge of doing the same thing, too. You. Lovesick you just rejected a date with THE Park Sunghoon. She was starting to think she hit your head a little too harsh when you did something stupid. She could practically see Sunghoon's imaginary heart break mid-air.
In his mind, Sunghoon was bottling up negative thoughts and insecurities again. 'Guess it won't work, huh..' 'a friend..? Ouch.' He didn't try speaking again until he heard a pained squeak come from you. When he turned, your hand was bleeding.
"What happened? You're bleeding?" Jay called. "I cut myself..!" Jay pointed me towards the first aid kit and was about to help me, but Sunghoon grabbed the kit from him and pulled you to a secluded corner in the room.
Too stunned, I just let him. He poured some antiseptic onto a cotton ball and began to dab it at my wounded finger. "Honestly.. what were you doing? So careless." The pain from the alcohol seeps through me, eliciting whines.
He dabbed it again, but this time with a bit more force, making me wince and retract my hand. "It stings!" "It can't be helped! If you don't treat it now, it won't heal properly! Wouldn't that hurt more?" And just like that, I shut up.
Drifting off again until he I feel a bit of pain. "Stop already, it hurts!" "Calm down! Look it's okay, I took care of it already!" He pulled my hand towards my face, showing the finger that was neatly bandaged. "It should heal quickly."
Heal quickly, huh?
For some reason, his words brought a smile to my face. What a gentle giant.. "thank you, Sunghoon.. You're actually so nice."
You trailed off, but your words sent blood straight to his cheeks. Wanting to hide his aloofness from you, he faced away with a huff.
"No big deal.. I just felt like I had to help you..". Before I could stop myself, my question rolled off of my tongue, reaching his ears. "Hey, how do you think I could heal a broken heart?"
Sunghoon's ears were red now. "I really think.. I can't fall in love ever again." Seriously, I wanted to beg him for an answer. "You really think so..?" He asked, which I nodded. Then, we just sat there. Staring at each other. Yet I still awaited his advice.
He was thinking of something, but nothing came to mind. All he was thinking about right now was how close you were. How you were innocently smiling at him with those cute dimples.
He's actually so pretty up close.. his choice of clothing today really suits him. The same grey tank top I saw him wearing that day after I told them about my love life. with a navy blue jacket paired with dark baggy jeans.
Great sense of fashion. Engrossed in my thoughts, I couldn't hear him whisper my name. He was about to say something when I stood up abruptly.
"Alright, I decided! Oppa, where do you think I can find freshly dressed young men! Like those who wear suits!"
"At a gaming centre..?"
"No,no those places are full of kids yelling at the game for making them lose."
"Then.. a club-?"
"Bingo!"
I rush to where Yeji and Jay were sitting, "hey, why don't we all go to club after we finish Jay's project?" I'll try my best to fall in love again, as long as it's not with Sunghoon!
• • •
And so here I was. Staring at multiple sweaty and horny people grinding against each other to the beats the DJ was playing. The DJ was actually kinda cute.
You were eyeing him since earlier and even asked around about who he was. You learned that his name was Choi Beomgyu... and that he was a womanizer.
Well, it doesn't hurt to just admire from afar, right? I was basking in the club's ambiance alone. Yeji and Jay said they were busy or too lazy to come with, so I brought just me, myself, and I. Still, it felt sort of good to be alone for once.
A few gentle taps landed on my shoulder, and when I turned, I was faced by a broad chest. Looking up, it was Sunghoon. Oh. "I knew I'd find you here.." he managed to pull me out of there after he said that.
"Ahh, that DJ Beomgyu guy was so cool! He was so nice too! " My words were slurred. Maybe the drinks they handed out at the club were spiked. Sunghoon only rolled his eyes at me as I walked alongside each other.
"If you like him, then tell him. You might get to be his girlfriend if you do."
"Nah, I don't want that. I heard he was a womanizer, so he's strictly off-limits. I'm not into womanizers." You contradicted your first words.
"Then stay away from him." He gloomed.
It was nice to chat around like this with a friend that wasn't Yeji for once. Altough it was her brother, but still.
Talking to him feels like talking to Yeji. I giggle at the thought. "You know, when I'm with you, it feels like I'm talking to Yeji."
He gave you a displeased look, so you think of someone else when you're with me?
I went on drabbling again about how Yeji's been so busy these days. "But you know what, it's fine 'cause I have Sunghoon!"
The boy sighed. It looks like I'm just Yeji's replacement..
"Oh, why did you come all the way here to get me, though? Did Yeji get you to come?"
"No, I was out drinking with a few friends and thought you'd be nearby." (He followed you, and when he saw giys staribg at you, he finally decided to get you out of there)
After I replied with an 'oh', there was that silence again. Except this time, it was more relaxed. Maybe it's because I was drunk. I was enjoying the contrast of calmness that the silence offered compared to the club's lust driven energy. This is nice.
"Hey.. uh. I was thinking.." Sunghoon's deep, yet sweet voice rang through the air. I looked at him as I waited for him to continue. He looked good, even with his side profile. That jaw could cut through even the strongest of metals.
"Since I feel like we haven't been able to hang out lately, the four of us.. what if we go on a trip?" With a tinge of hope in them, his eyes finally met mine. "To where?" "Jay's been interested in going to this one beachside motel. He said it had good reviews, too.. so I was thinking maybe we could go."
• • •
Summer vacation came, and we finally pulled through with the 2-day trip. The amount of tumes we had to practically beg Yeji' parents to let her cone with us was so worth it. Now, here we were, lounging at the beach and enjoying the weather.
Yeji and I wore these matching yellow, frilled 2-piece. It suited her so well. And that was the problem. Sunghoon was practically itching to headbutt every single guy who glanced at us. Meanwhile, Jay just minded his own business, setting up the grill so he could start cooking.
The day passed by so fast. We played around the beach, ate whatever Jay burnt for us, swam a bit. Before we knew it, the sun was starting to set. "Hey, it's getting dark. We should go back to the room." Jay offered, already beginning to pack up our stuff.
It was nice. I barely paid attention to Sunghoon the whole day. Maybe I do just see him as a friend now. Still, a part of me ached at the thought of losing interest in the boy.
When we got to me and Yeji's room, the boys stayed over for a few to just drink a few beers with us. Sunghoon normally wouldn't allow his sister to ANY form of alcohol, but after 30 minutes of Yeji pleading with tears threatening to fall from her pretty eyes, he gave in.
We were all giggling at a story Jay was telling, all tipsy, if not near blacked-out drunk. Well.. Sunghoon was. Who knew he'd be such a lightweight.
"It was such a great idea to go to the beach. I was getting tired of the endless tall buildings in our neighborhood. You could barely take aesthetic shots of nature and shit there!" Yeji groaned. "But here, I feel so full of life!"
Jay chuckled at her statement, "Me too, I don't feel like sleeping even after all the shit we've done today." He huffed. All the while, Sunghoon just drank silently, blanking out and staring at the table.
"Oppa, are you sleepy?" Concern laced Yeji's voice at the thought of her brother falling asleep while sitting. He hummed a quick 'eung', and his sister began to pull Jay up by the arm.
"Okay, we'll get going now!" "What? The hell are you talking about? This is your girls' room." Jay protest, still, he let Yeji hoist him towards the door.
"Yeah, Yeji.. are you drunk-?" Now it was my turned to be concerned. Before she could answer my question, she was already out halfway out of the door with Jay in tow.
If Sunghoon wasn't on the verge of blacking out, he'd have killed Jay for even letting Yeji touch him in the first place. Said girl just gave a knowing look and a wink before shutting the door behind her. What is she thinking..?
I turned to look at Sunghoon, who had his head thrown back. "Sunghoon, if you're sleepy, you should lay on the bed already." Wrapping an arm around his, I pulled him up and placed him on his bed. "Are you sure you're okay sharing a room with me?" He whispered once he hit the soft mattress.
"No worries. There are two beds anyway, so it's fine. I won't attack you, so you don't need to worry." I joked to try and lighten the mood. "If it'd help you sleep better, I can sing you a lullaby."
"No you don't have to! But even if you're alright with it, I'm not! I might.. be the one that attacks you.." His sentence started loud but ended quietly when it came to the last few words.
Attack me?
"Why?" I managed to mumble out. "What do you mean, 'why?'" "I mean, aren't we just friends?" I stated like it was the most obvious thing ever, which stunned him. He sighed and sat up on the bed again, calling my name softly.
"Why don't you see me as a man? I've been trying my best to have you notice me, but you're completely shutting me down. Even when Yeji told me you liked me back! I'm a man too. Why can't you see that?"
Eyes widening at his declaration, I couldn't find the words to say. Instead, my mind ran back again to Heeseung. Godammit. I have a perfectly kind and handsome man declaring his love for me, yet Heeseung still haunts me.
"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry." I whimpered out, finally letting the tears fall. "It's just.. I didn't want to betray Yeji.. she cares so much about you. You already know I have a problem with falling in love with people fast but lose interest in them easily. Yeji didn't want either of us to get hurt, so I promised I'd only treat you as a treasured guy friend. It's been so hard to shut my feelings down for you.. so all I've been doing is push you away."
Sunghoon's heart warmed at knowing his sister cares deeply about him. A part of him also felt at ease knowing you were willing to give up your own happiness for his sister. He felt no anger towards Yeji, instead, he just wanted to make you lose the guilt weighing on your shoulders.
After all, Yeji already gave the two of you the green light. He laughed at the irony of the situation, though. He who has been getting white hairs stressing over what he can do to make you acknowledge him behind his sister's back so she won't get hurt, and you who purposely turned a blind eye for the same reason. His sister.
"What's so funny?!" I drawled, sniffing. My tears came to a stop now, distracted by his obnoxious laughing. When he didn't stop laughing, I noticed how cute he was when he smiles.
I've been trying to avoid looking at him for so long that I forgot how good he looked. Slowly, I began to laugh with him. His laughter was infectious. Our laughter mixed well together until it died down once we got tired.
"Man, we're both fools." He lied back down, resting his head on his arms. "Speak for yourself, hotshot." I nudged him with a playful hand. The air in the room was lighter now, as if we didn't just confess to each other a few minutes ago.
I appreciate how easy it is to talk to him. It's moments like these where I feel like I'm actually talking to Sunghoon as an equal. An individual. Without having to think about the consequences it would bring. It never felt like this with Heeseung.
"So.. are we good now?" He asked. Humming a small 'yes', I waddled to my own bed and plopped down on my stomach, still facing him. "Good. Now that I have made peace with you, we can sleep together ever once in a while, right?" He joked. "What are you talking about?!" He must be blabbering 'cause he's tired.
"It's alright if you don't want to.. I'll endure it for you." Realizing he was serious about it, I didn't say anything. I mean, what could I even say? Sunghoon took the silence negatively though and muttered a defeated "..okay.."
"Hey, don't come up with your own conclusions, I didn't say no!" "Then why didn't you say anything?" Once more, I couldn't think of a reply again. Wait. "If you tell me you love me, I'll sleep with you."
"What." He was shocked for the nth time tonight. "Why so sudden?" "It's just that... remember when I lashed out at you that night we were hanging out at your house? I was thinking about one of the guys I fell in love with.. he used to me to get this other girl jealous. He'd flirt with me, tease me, be all kind to me. Made me feel wanted... loved. But whenever the girl was near, his eyes were all on her... it felt awful."
Tears already glossed over my eyes. His brows drew together again as he listened in, humming to let you know he was. "I never heard anyone say it to me before.. well. Other than Yeji and my family. But it's different if it comes from the man I love."
"I... I'm not used to directly saying it like that. It's cheesy!" He denied, but when we locked eyes again, he felt a pang if guilt pierced through his heart.
"Fuck. I'm a man, why can't I say it! Fine! I'll act like a different person, a confident one! My name will be Bemjamin!"
"Huh? ? I won't sleep with you if you pretend like you're somebody else! I only want Park Sunghoon!"
I say that, but I play along, blinking the tears away, I went to the table where we left some tea packets lying around.
"I'm making some tea. Would you like some, Benjamin?" My back was turned to him as I began to tear the packet open. I didn't hear him respond, so I was about to turn around, but I felt him standing behind me already.
When I did face him, he quickly pulled me into a hug, softly patting my head. He whispered, "I love you.. so much that it pains me to see you cry. Especially if it's over some loser who didn't deserve you in the first place." He finished off his words with a peck on my forehead. Only then did we both notice I was already crying again.
I giggled and wrapped my eyes around his shoulders, burying my head in the warmth of his chest. "I love you too, Park Sunghoon." He smiled back and tightened the hug, drawing our bodies closer. When I looked back up at him, he was all red.
"Forget that loser.. let me show you how a man should treat his lover." He raised a hand to the back of my head, I expedted him to gently push my face closer to his, but he didn't quite do it yet. "Will you let me..?"
Oh my fucking god I love him. Smiling, I stood on my tiptoes and finally connected our lips. We stayed like that for a while before he started to move his lips, and so did I. His hand that was once on the my head slid down to my waist, positioned next to his other one.
I tilted my head just enough to deepen the kiss, and he loved it. After a while, we pulled back, a string of saliva hung from my lips to his. We were both smiling ear to ear at each other, giggling again as he picked me up and sat me on the bed. This giddy feeling.. I hope it's mutual.
He leaned in for another kiss, except this time, it was rougher. I was indulging in the feeling of it when he pulled back. "Can I use my tongue?" He looked so serious, and it made your heart flutter how he felt the need to ask if he could go further than an innocent kiss.
Placing an affectionate hand on his flushed cheeks, I assured him, "Sunghoon.. you can do whatever you want to me." Sunghoon's smile seemed to grow wider if that was even possible. He leaned back in with a small "thank you" before plunging his tongue into my mouth.
As we made out, his hands began to roam all over my body. From my back, to my waist, to now, my chest. He tugged at my pajama top as a silent request to take it off. I pulled his hands and let it to the buttons. He got the innuendo and began undoing every button and helped slide the fabric off of my arms.
"Fuck, no bra?" Taking in the sight of my perky nipples, he licked his plump lips. His stare made me cover the girls in shame, only for him to push me down the bed with my arms trapped my his own beside my head. "Hey.. who said you should cover them? They're beautiful. You're beautiful."
His praises shot straight through me and right between your legs. Rubbing them together, I whimpered. "Sunghoon.. it's embarrassing.."It's okay, angel. Just let me make you feel good." He moved down to your chest , maintaining eye contact with me as he licked everywhere on my tits but my nipples. "Sunghoon, don't tease~"
When he did, god, it felt so good. He kept sucking on it, occasionally biting on it to tease a surprised moan out of me. When he was done with that, he moved on to my other tit, giving it the same attention while he fondled the other one.
He was humping the mattress beneath him, my small whimpers of his name turning him on so much. "Sunghoon.. let me do something for you, too.." I whined, finally snapping him from his titty trance. He let my nipple out of his mouth with a 'pop'. "No, angel. Tonight, you're gonna be nothing but a pillow princess."
Those were the last words he said before he slid your pajama down your legs. "Aww, flower patterns? Fucking adorable." "Sunghoon!" He chuckled before he finally took off the remaining piece of clothing I had, my cotton panties. They were comfy.
"Spread your legs for me, angel." He said, but I only shut them close at first, but eventually I do as he says. "Fuck.. You're all wet.." "just for you." Those three words made the man in front of me internally scream in victory, in happiness, in pride.
He dove straight down in front of my pussy, keeping his eyes on mine before giving sweet nios and pecks all over my thighs. I squirmed, wanting to feel some friction on my cunt already. The pleasure violently bolted through my body when he latched his tongue onto my clit without a warning. A pleasured gasp escaping my lips.
He then licked down towards my hole, prodding and circling at the flesh lightly before pushing the muscle in. He constantly switched from plunging his tongue in and nipping at my clit. As if that wasn't already enough to make my my spin from the pleasure, he kept moaning into my cunt too.
His noises are fucking addictive.
"Sunghoonie! I'm close!" My voice sounded breathier and was a few notes higher than normal. I tugged at his hair to try and pry him off of me, but that only caused him to push his head deeper against my cunt, practically smashing his face on it. I could feel his nose rubbing on my clit.
"P-please, I want my first orgasm tonight to be with you~" I tugged again, and this time, he finally stopped. His face was covered in my slick. He was smirking up at me, too, as if he had just won a huge prize. "What?"
"You're so fucking adorable. And romantic." He hovered over me and kissed me once more, allowing me to taste myself. Moaning into the kiss, I wrapped my arms around his shoulders. We just kissed like that again, savoring each other's warmth when I felt something bulgy against my core.
I looked down and saw the bulge being restricted by his gray sweats. I just realized he was still fully clothed while I was completely exposed to him. "Hoonie~, take off your clothes!"
I whined as I straddled him. His eyes widened at your sudden boldness, but he let me do it. He even raises his arms to help me get his shirt off. Heck, he was loving my little stunt.
Sure, he said you'd be pillow princess tonight, but hey. Who is he to deny himself from witnessing you take control? As much as he wouldn't admit it out loud, he actually likes being taken care of every once in a while.
After Yeji was born, he was expected to always be the more mature one and take care of her. He was forced to grow up too quickly and have people rely on him. So, times like these where he's the one getting served really means a lot to him.
He lovingly looked down at you, who now nipped over his clothed dick while giving him an innocent look. Fuck, you sure know bow to tease. To his relief, your tease act was quick, as you pulled both his pants and boxers down at once, letting his pretty cock slap against his stomach
Holy shit he's big. That's got to be at least 8 inches.
I realized I gawked at his throbbing dick for a few seconds too long when he was bucking his hips upward. When I looked up at his face, he had this damn sexy, desperate look.
I almost laughed at how eager he looked, but I held it in and grabbed at his just-as-eager dick instead. Gave it a few small pumps before I took it into my mouth, making his hands fly to my hair immediately.
I bobbed my head up and down his length a few times, but his grip on my hair became stronger. Before I knew it, he was fucking his dick into my mouth while he held my head in place. And I just let him. Hollowing my cheeks to give him an added tightness.
How could I not? The noises he's making right now makes me literally gush out in arousal.
I could feel him twitching inside of he, the bulbous head of his dick pulsing. It went on for a few minutes before he abruptly pulled my completely off of him.
When my lips disconnected with his dick, it made such a pornographic 'pop' sound, similar to how it sounded with what he did to my tits earlier.
"On your back, angel." He instructed, but he practically moved me to the position himself, keeping a hand under my thigh to keep it hoisted in mid-air. He grabbed a condom from the drawer between the two beds and rolled it on himself.
When he was finished gearing himself up, he went back between my legs and raised them uo to his shoulders. Placing a kiss on my forehead, nose, and then lips, he asked, "are you ready?"
I could only nod, but instead, he tsked. "Words, angel. I need to hear you." "Yes, Sunghoon, please." That was all he needed to hear.
He began by just rubbing it against your hole a few times before finally pushing just the tip inside. Your slick made it a bit easier, but still, it hurt.
Sunghoon's sweet nothings and gentle strokes on my hair helped ease the sting of his dick stretching me out. It didn't take long for the pain to subside and make room for pleasure.
Feeling my walls flutter around him, Sunghoon looked at me one more time before he started to move. "Oh, fuck Sunghoon, you feel so good" "you feel even better, angel. Fuck"
His pace started off gentle, but the more he felt the way you clamped around him, the more he started to lose control. His hips snapped to meet yours at a harsh pace.
Your noises blended with his into a sweet symphony of your love, paired with the beat of wet skin slapping against one another. Hjs eyes bore into yours, and you swear if he looked any harder, he could see yours form into hearts.
A sudden wave of embarrassment flushed over me, making me tear my gaze away from him and trail downwards. Towards his lips.. his chest.. his abs.. then my. Oh.
His dick was bulging through my abdomen. Tighten. The sight made me moan, eliciting a groan from Sunghoon at how I squeezed him again.
He noticed how I was still looking down and followed my gaze. The bulge in my abdomen caught his attention in an instant. His dick twitched at it. "Oh fuck- Angel, you're so perfect."
My eyes were rolling back when his pace grew erratic. Everything felt so good. I could feel the tip of his dick kissing my cervix. He was hitting so good. So deep.
The familiar knot in my stomach formed again, and I could feel Sunghoon was close too. "You close, angel?" He said as he slapped a hand to my clit and rubbed at it. "Go ahead, come for me, sweetie."
My back arched at the overwhelming pleasure, "N-no! Ngh! P-please I wan' cum t'getherrr" I slurred, too focused on holding back my orgasm to actually speak coherently.
Shit, even if I wasn't focused on somethjng else right now, I know I still wouldn't be able to speak properly with how good he's dicking me down.
Sunghoon moaned at your words, really loving how affectionate you're being. "Okay, angel, just hold on for a bit more, alright?" He whispered, pressing more kisses on my shoulder.
He finally grew close, his voice becoming louder and higher. And so did yours. But at this point, you didn't care if the other occupants in the motel could hear you. All you cared about rjght nke was Sunghoon.
"Fuck. Okay. On my count.." The three digits he counted down felt tantalizingly slow, but when he came down to the last one, I finally let go.
My eyes rolled back as I could practically see fireworks form. Sunghoon's dick twitched one more time before he finally came into the condom.
He let out a string of curses and praises as he came down from his high. Pulling out of you and throwing the condom away to the trash bin.
When he laid back down on the bed, he peppered you with kisses, cuddling you to his chest and rubbing sweet circles on your lower back. "Did it hurt too much?" His voice felt raspy and tired, yet still full of genuine concern.
"No, sweetie. You felt great. Best I've ever had." He quirked an eyebrow at you. "Oh yeah? That's wonderful to hear."
"Oh and Sunghoon, thee apple of my?" "Yes, thee love of my life?" I giggled for what felt like hundredth time today before I nuzzled my head to his chest. "This was my first time."
"Wait, what!?" He tried to push me off of his chest to see if I was lying or not, but I attached my body tightly to his so I could hide my smile.
Eventually, he stopped pushing and sighed. "You should've told me, and I would've taken you somewhere more special than this run-down motel." He grumbled, petting my hair again, letting his eyes droop.
Our drowiness finally creeped in on us, and we just laid there like that. Our legs tangled together, hearing each other's heartbeats and a veil of love draping over the two of us.
"I love you, Hoonie" "I love you more, angel."

Notes: WAH HOLY SHIt. I feel like this entire story was too random. I wanted to make it a very similar situation to Nana and Shoji's but had trouble making it as canon as possible.
Now to those who saw the trailer, I know I promised you a Figure skater! Sunghoon × Figure Skater! Reader, but I literally forgot about it 💀💀
I was writing this in my notes so I couldn't see what notes I tagged under it 😭😭
What was supposed to happen was Reader came back to her old habits, joining the figure skating club so she could grow closer to sunghoon.
But I forgot about the canon event so 🎀🎀🎀
I promise I'll make another fic using that dynamic to make it up to yall 🙇♀️🙇♀️
Hope u enjoyed ^^

No Idea Who They're Dealing With (Trinity Rodman x Reader)
Ummm, it's like 1am and I just banged out like 2k words?!?!? This was requested by a lovely anon (hope this is kinda what you wanted). I'm gonna go have a nighttime snack real quick so, byeeee. As always, any feedback good or bad welcome. Enjoy!
Word Count: 2k (actually it's like 1987 but that's basically 2k so fuck it)
You hated Trinity Rodman. With a passion. She was always getting the best of you, no matter how hard you tried she always seemed to be one step ahead. The rivalry between the two of you went back to your U-18 days. You played for Canada during the U-18 World Cup, in that tournament you had really shone, putting yourself at the top of the list for up-and-coming Canadian soccer players. While you had done well, Trinity had done even better. You never played against the USA in that tournament, but she beat you out for the Golden Boot and the Player of the Tournament award.
The next time your rivalry was rekindled was in the U-20 CONCACAF Championships. Both Canada and the US came top of their groups, respectively. In the semi-finals, the two teams faced off. It was a pretty physical game. Tackles were flying in left and right. Numerous cards were given out. Throughout the match, you and Trinity had been at each other’s throats. It started with just some shoving. Then, it escalated to pulling on each other’s jerseys. The tackles kept getting dirtier and dirtier. It didn’t help that Canada was 2-0 down. At one point, you were both going for the ball, you thought you had definitely beat her to it when you felt a cleat connect with your ankle. You screamed out. Toppling to the ground while clutching your ankle, you knew it was bad. Like, tournament ending bad. With your face buried in the grass, you can hear loud voices, presumably your teammates who had come to defend you. The whistle was being repeatedly blown, but all you could focus on was the immense pain shooting through your leg.
Trinity was horrified. She hadn’t meant for that to happen. Of course, she was getting frustrated with the physical battle between you. But she really hadn’t meant to hurt you. She had never seen you in so much pain. Your reputation preceded you, everyone knew that you were tough and that if you went down something must be seriously wrong. A number of your teammates came to your aid. They shoved Trinity and got all up in her face. She tuned all of them out, though, preferring to watch the trainers as they started feeling your ankle. When you were on your feet and limping off the field, she wanted to go over and apologize, but one of her teammates dragged her away before she could.
You had ruptured your Achilles tendon. It took almost six months before you stepped on a soccer pitch again. While Trinity was off becoming a star in the NWSL, you were sitting in physio, fuming. It was mentally and physically exhausting to return to full strength. And when you finally returned you tore it up. At UCLA you established yourself as one of the best players in college soccer. Bev Priestmann was impressed enough to give you a call-up for your first-ever senior national team camp in 2021.
Now, heading into the 2023 SheBelieves Cup you’ve become a regular on the national team. You had played against Trinity a couple of times, but you had tried your best to just ignore her presence altogether. It most certainly confused Trinity. She thought you would be pissed at her and that you would hold a grudge forever. You hadn’t. Actually, it was like Trinity didn’t even exist anymore in your world. Within the Canada camp, there was a lot of things going on. The players, yourself included, were in a dispute with Canada Soccer. Everyone had decided to wear their practice shirts inside out to protest, among other things. Heading into the opening match against the USA, the battle between players and federation was anyone was talking about. Janine and Christine had done an interview with TSN, you hadn’t even spoken publicly about the job action, other than putting the players’ statement on your Instagram. Yet, you were on the receiving end of all the blame coming from Canada Soccer. There had been multiple interviews and statements by Canada Soccer officials and they all stuck to the same narrative, your arrival in the past year or two had changed the mindset within the team. You were the root of this. If it had not been for you, everyone would have been happy still, and the team would not be asking for something that was impossible. You chose to handle this with class, not wanting to stir the pot anymore, you did not respond to those comments.
The USA had watched all of this happen in complete shock. First of all, the fact that a job action had to be put in motion in the first place. Considering you guys were Olympic champions everyone thought you would have earned a little more respect from your federation. Second, you specifically were enduring most of the public bashing. It was absolutely insane for Canada Soccer to put this all on one player, especially you. This entire fiasco made Trinity’s blood boil. No way they thought they could actually get away with blaming you. When asked by the Canadian team if they would join in making a pre-match protest, they of course agreed.
Soon enough, the two teams were standing in the tunnel, preparing to step out on the pitch. There had been a few hugs given out among the different players. Rapinoe had said some encouraging words to you as she passed by. You didn’t realize how much you needed to hear them until you started to tear up. As the US lines up alongside you, you try your best to not let anyone see the emotion overcoming you. All of a sudden, you feel a hand land on your shoulder. Looking over, you’re surprised to see Trinity Rodman giving you a warm smile.
“Hey, you’re doing a really good job, don’t let them get to you,” Trinity says softly to you. You wipe at your eyes before mumbling out a quick “thanks.” She removes her hand and you immediately miss the contact. Before you can say anything more to her, the refs have started to move forward, with the teams following close behind. The cameras start to click rapidly as Canada’s national team appears wearing the purple “Enough is Enough” shirts. After the anthems, the two teams form a heart around the centre circle. You end up standing beside Trinity. The taller woman’s hand lands on the small of your back, sending shivers up your spine. She notices this and smirks at you.
That entire game, Canada looks flat. You guys looked like a team that was mentally exhausted, which you were. It was only through pure determination that you were able to put your name on the score sheet. The game finished as a 2-1 US win, it probably should have been more.
When the game ends, you and the rest of the team refuse to do any media and head straight back to the locker rooms. Trinity ends up at the ESPN panel, standing alongside a man she doesn’t recognize and the hosts. It’s only when the hosts introduce the man as the Vice President of Canada Soccer that she realizes what’s going to happen. This was definitely set up by Canada Soccer to continue putting down the players. The hosts ask Trinity a few questions about the match before they address the elephant in the room. For a bit, Trinity thinks that maybe she was wrong. Maybe the vice president wasn’t here to blame the players, maybe he was just here to try to appease the public or something. He wasn’t saying anything too controversial, mostly trying his best to deflect, saying he can’t comment and things like that. For a few minutes, everything is going okay. Until it isn’t.
“Obviously, we only want our women’s teams to thrive. They have shown just how world-class they can be playing against some tough opponents. We just think that some of the demands they’re making are unreasonable. It’s possible that Y/N Y/L/N has gotten some far-reaching goals inside of her teammate's heads. Before, the team was making reasonable demands and we were happy to negotiate with them,” the vice president says with such contempt that Trinity doesn’t know how such an asshole can be elected for anything.
“Interesting…” ESPN’s host slowly starts to say before Trinity jumps in.
“Or maybe, you guys have just been taking the entire team for push-overs and they, including Y/N, have finally realized their worth. That they are deserving of more than just whatever you have left in the bank account. Also, if you’re going to start publicly bashing Y/N, then you better know that she’s not going to back down without a fight and that she is going to come at you guys with everything she has. You have no fucking idea who you’re dealing with.”
This leaves everyone on the panel in a little bit of shock. Trinity decides that she doesn’t feel like being interviewed anymore. She gives the mic back and then walks off, not having the slightest clue about why she did that. As she gets closer to the US locker room, she stops in her tracks when she hears a voice.
“What the hell did you do that for?” She takes a deep breath before turning around to be met with your beautiful face.
“Uhh, I don’t know,” she stutters out.
“Trinity, you just blew up at a Canada Soccer official and swore on national television. You must know why.” There’s something about how her name sounds coming off your tongue that drives Trinity crazy.
“Y/N…” she starts as she takes a step towards you. You can feel a blush creeping up your neck as the space between the two of you closes.
“Yeah?” Your voice comes out small and it only encourages Trinity. She takes another step closer, at this point you’re chests are close to touching. Trinity is looking down at you with a smirk that makes your knees weak. It doesn’t help that she’s got probably five inches on you so, you feel incredibly small this close to her.
“I’ve never really hated you, y’know?” Her voice is so smooth, it makes your stomach do flips.
“Oh yeah?” You say not daring to take your eyes off of hers. She starts to lean in slowly.
“Yeah,” she whispers against your lips before connecting them. Her hands go to your waist, pulling you as close as possible to her. Your fingers find their way into her hair, giving it a light tug. Her lips were like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. They were soft and perfect and moved perfectly against yours. You couldn’t believe what was happening, not too long ago you swore you hated her, but now, she was too good of a kisser to even think about hating her. Soon, you both pull away. She leans her forehead against yours.
“When do you guys leave for the next game?” The American asks quietly.
“I think two days from now,” you reply, “why?”
“Do you want to go on a date with me, say tomorrow?” You can’t help the grin that takes over your face.
“Thought you’d never ask.” You kiss her one last time before entangling your fingers with hers. “I’m not sure you have any idea who you’re dealing with, though,” you joke. Trinity just laughs.
“Trust me, I know exactly who I’m dealing with,” she says with a chuckle. You smile one last time at her before moving to head back to your own locker room. But, she pulls you back and presses a firm kiss on your forehead, then she decides you are free to go.
When you were named to the World Cup roster, the first person you called was your girlfriend.
“The world has no idea who they’re dealing with, babe.”

chapter four: +1000 aura for [name] previous ⎯ masterlist ⎯ next
Rain begins pouring, finally, pitter-pattering down onto the windshields of vehicles that form a barrier around the rest of the world and the mall. The scent of soot hangs in the air, and you can finally feel the heat that seemed to surround you at all times die down.
"Fucking finally," sighs the Commissioner, wiping his bifocals with a cloth as he frowns. He's an old man, smile lines and wrinkles dotting his face, and he's been caught completely off-guard today evening.
You've been caught off-guard too, somehow wrangled into this mess and seriously questioning your life decisions. The entire point of being a vigilante was to stay anonymous, work in the shadows and not make a big deal out of whatever you were doing. You weren't blessed with superpowers that guaranteed a future in hero work. You were literally just a student. Now, hoodie and balaclava feel like a thin veil between your identity and the world as you hear the flashes of cameras over sirens.
A policeman had dragged you with him as you were about to make your exit from the scene, satisfied with the way you'd handled the many ruffians who'd emerged from the woodwork to take advantage of the chaos from the fire and ransacking local businesses. Unable to protest, you'd focused your attention on aiding near the mall, content with observing Spider-Man in action from a respectable distance.
This was too close, according to you. The commissioner had summoned both of you to hear your accounts of the fire, suspecting some foul play in the works, and this explains why you're inches away from the hero, who's in familiar, animated conversation with the senior official.
You use this time to observe him for research purposes. Upon closer inspection, he's a lot more built than the pictures do justice to describe him as. His arms are crossed over the vast expanse of his beefy chest, and you don't miss the way his biceps strain against the material of his suit as he continues talking, murmuring something about a past foe. Your eyes drop shamelessly lower, and you can't help but thank the rain for dampening the air, since his suit sticks to his torso, defining abs you're can call nothing short of washboard.
Shut up, you're not here to ogle him!, a voice in your head reminds, and you have to avert your eyes and pretend to be deeply interested in the way firefighters were raising their ladder to the third floor of the mall. You hear someone clear their throat, and snap back to the conversation at hand.
"Spider-Man just pointed out that this seems to be the work of the same criminal who set a warehouse alight last week in Minato, Vigilante," the Commissioner coughs, and you blanche at the name, a testament to how you've officially come on the radar of the administration. Jeez, couldn't you get something cool, like Supreme Leader of Counterviolence or something? Vigilante sounded so... mundane.
"Um, is that so? It could be, now that he mentioned it," you reply. You'd followed that incident live, but you don't want to let on anything about yourself that could possibly give a shred of your identity away; even something as routine as following crime in the city.
"I think it would be best if the two of you worked together on this. Spider-Man, as you know, already covers much of the city, but I'm sure an extra hand wouldn't hurt. We're already spread thin as is, and recovery efforts are going to take some time," he says, tone tired as he massages his temples. If it weren't for how overworked he sounded, you'd be surprised at his presumptuousness to enlist you in crime-fighting measures at the very first meeting.
"Vigilante, we've picked you up on our surveillance many times earlier. I know that working in the public eye is not your forte, but perhaps you can use it to your advantage to find out more about this perp," the Comissioner adds, reading your mind. You almost choke on air.
"That makes sense," you affirm quietly, still processing the implications of what he's said. "Good," the man smiles. "The quicker we solve this, the safer Shinjuku is. We'll be in touch," he says, dismissing you. Now that he's done talking, the flash of cameras become even more enunciated, and you're frozen, unsure of whether turning around will cause more of a scene or making a run for it will.
"First time with the paps?", Spider-Man asks, peering down at you. His stupid mask gives nothing away, but you're sure he notices the way your eyes widen under your balaclava as you nod. "I'm in no mood to deal with them today, either," he sighs. You look at the swarm of people eagerly poised with TV cameras and mics in their hand and squirm.
Pondering for a minute, Spider-Man offers you a gloved hand.
"Wanna get outta here?"

Tobirama Senju (Naruto) - Oneshot AU.
It was stupid.
You knew full well, but you couldn’t help it.
Tobirama Senju wasn’t someone very easy to get close to. Even more so because you were a..
“Uchiha.”
The strict tone made you stiffen and you lowered your head back into the paper as Tobirama continued his tutoring.
“G-Gomen, Senju-san.”
Your soft mutter earned nothing but that stone cold expression as he continued to explain the concepts of your lesson. In all honesty, it was your own fault. Hashirama and your brother Madara had always been best friends.
While your clans had many disagreements, not all of them were all small minded as the members of the past. There were a few elders on both sides that still held that level of mistrust that stemmed from one simple misunderstanding how much ever hundred years ago.
A petty family feud.
Despite that, both Senju and Uchihas had found a sense of peace. A few had even gotten wed, broadening the family and strengthening the ties.
Regardless, it was very clear that Tobirama did not really like you, or a few other Uchihas. Maybe that had more to do with the way your brother constantly pestered him. Whatever the reason, you knew the only reason he was tutoring you right now was because he was the acting teacher’s assistant and he’s pretty much a stickler when it comes to grades and training.
There was a part of you that wished you could banish it, your feelings. You were only four years younger than Tobirama, and almost nine years younger than Madara and Hashirama. So, you supposed they all just assumed you were naive, or a kid.
Hashirama always treated you like a child.
With another internal sigh, you kept your eyes on the paper, anxious now because it was just the two of you in this big classroom and with every hour that passed, you were having a harder time focusing with your crush sitting right next to you, glaring at your paper like it was some enemy.
Then again, with Tobirama, maybe that was just his face.
“We’ll stop here today.”
His words sounded so stern for a guy who really should be more easy going given the fact that he was only nineteen and already had every school in the district practically begging to have him as a teaching aid. The only reason he applied for this position was because Hashirama was the principal here.
Packing up reluctantly, you tried your best to focus on anything but your unrequited love. You hoped the walk home would banish your inner turmoil, but it only brought up the memory that first made you fall for the younger Senju brother.
“Look at this, it’s red eyes.”
You frowned at the group of boys that had been following you since you left the gate. It was stupid, it’s not like you asked for your peculiar red eyes. It was a birth defect that ran in the family. You knew it unnerved people, but your brother had always encouraged you to embrace it, saying that you were amazing regardless of what people said. It was the only reason you’d decided against getting contacts.
Yet now, maybe you should have given it a second thought, because this had been a common issue since grade school.
You gripped your bag tighter, increasing your pace. But it did very little. You could still hear them laughing behind you, and when you cut through the park, you tried to make a run for it, but someone tugged your bag and you gasped as you were pulled backwards. Your body hit the ground, and you stared up with shaky eyes at the three boys now standing over you with grins.
Your assumption was that they were in your class, but you were wrong. They had to be seniors. You gritted your teeth.
“L-Leave me alone you assholes!”
That was probably not the way to go, but given your situation, if you were going to get beaten up, at least you should get a word in. A trait you no doubt got from Madara.
“What the hell did you say bitch!!”
The one in the middle raised his hand, and you shut your eyes, ready for the blow. Yet the sound of a body hitting the ground made you jolt. Your eyes opened, and standing in front of you was…
“Senju-san…”
He glanced at you from the side before he turned back to the group of boys in front of you. The leader was on the floor holding his bloody nose.
“I will be reporting all of you to the principal tomorrow. Bullying a schoolmate is pathetic. I have zero tolerance for bullies.”
His words were followed by a glare that could bring a giant to its feet. The fallen boy stumbled to his feet, running off with his friends.
You weren’t sure what to say. The speed they were running at you would think they saw a ghost. Your heart was still racing from the encounter, and for a few moments you could only gape, because you were certain Tobirama detested you.
You’d been to his house many times due to your brother's many visits, but in all that time,Tobirama had never so much as acknowledged you or said one kind thing to you. You always got that stoic gaze, and you just accepted that he was one of the few that held mistrust for anyone with the last name of Uchiha.
“You’re hurt.”
The statement brought you back to earth, and you blinked, looking down at your ankle that was indeed bruised. The adrenaline must have distracted you. You had been prepared for a beating.
“Can you stand?”
“I-I..”
You moved to attempt it, but pain rushed through your leg and you closed your eyes in pain.
“Damn it..”
You muttered.
Walking home like this was going to hurt like hell. You meant to tell him that you needed a minute to gather yourself, but he lowered, and you were shocked when he offered his back.
“You can’t walk in this state.”
It was all he said.
For a moment you just stared owlishly at the gesture. But when he glanced back with that glare, you swallowed, climbing onto his back hurriedly.
You were a little worried you’d be too heavy, but he stood as if you weighed nothing. Just like that he was walking down the street. Your mind was reeling, trying to figure out if this was all real. It couldn’t be.
As you chanced a look, Tobirama’s focus was trained ahead, and in that moment, you couldn’t do much but stare at him. Regardless of his personal views, he’d helped you, and was now carrying you home on his back. Your cheeks turned red, and you found yourself burying your face into his back to stop the insistent thumping of your heart.
“Please…don’t hear..”
That was the day your entire view of Tobirama changed. He was no longer the grumpy brother of Hashirama, but someone you couldn’t stop thinking about, no matter how much you tried.
Since that moment, your eyes kept following him, and it just got worse when he applied as Kakashi-sensei’s teacher assistant. Now you had to worry about him being at your school every freaking day.
“Stupid crush..”
You grumbled.
Tobirama’s head lifted and you flushed when his cold stare directed at you.
“Did you say something?”
Coming from him, it sounded like a challenge, or a threat. You just waved your hands around, shaking your head as you looked up, thankful that you arrived at your home. Running into the house, you slammed the door, sliding down to the floor as you buried your face in your knees.
“Dummy.”
It was bad enough that you’re so transparent, but letting that slip was almost dangerous.
“Why the hell are you on the floor?”
Madara’s question made you shoot up and you glared.
“N-No reason!!”
Hashirama came from around the corner with a smile.
“Are you teasing (Y/N)-chan again? If your brother ever gives you trouble you can always come to me.”
Hashirama hugged you to his chest, patting your head and you just blushed. This is typically how all your meetings went.
“Quit patting her head, she’s not an animal.”
A harsh kick to Hashirama’s back and he was down for the count. A bead of sweat ran down your head as Hashirama moved to a corner to sulk.
It was always entertaining with those two. For a moment you forgot about all of it. Your feelings, past conflicts, everything. Hashirama and Madara were proof that people didn’t have to be led by past ignorance.
After you’d showered, Madara had prepared dinner and Hashirama practically begged to stay. Although your brother often acted like he was annoyed, you knew how much he enjoyed the company.
The three of you sat there as you talked happily. For the most part you were listening to Hashirama’s stories of his brothers. They were always so entertaining.
“Even Tobirama was pretty headstrong when we were young. When I had disagreements with my father, he was the one who tended to intervene. Even though he was the younger one, he was always protecting me.”
That was a bit surprising to hear.
“Senju-san did?”
Hashirama nodded.
“He did. I don’t think he can help it. He has a bit of a complex.”
Hashirama continued to laugh, and you zoned out, nibbling on your chopsticks.
“Back then he..he protected me. Does that mean he cares about me..”
Just the thought has your face feeling warm.
“Oii, why is your face all red?”
Madara’s call made a pulse pop on your forehead.
“Why are you so nosy!!”
You throw the empty bowl, hitting him smack in the forehead and he falls off the chair comically. Hashirama started laughing when the both of you went back and forth throwing items at each other.
There was one thing you know you can count on, and it’s your brother cheering you up.
As the days carried on, your little lapses continued. Maybe even got worse.
“I’m a stalker.”
You sulk.
At this point it’s true, because you’re hiding behind the wall, peeking at Tobirama on the roof. It was purely coincidence the first time. No one really came up here, so it was great for days when you just needed to relax and think.
On one of your trips, you’d caught sight of him sitting as he casually read a book. It was aggravating how majestic he looked, just sitting there with the wind casually blowing his white locks back and forth. It was as if coolness just came natural for him.
Since then you’d tried to sneak a peek every now and then. It was a silly attempt to try and work up the courage to talk to him outside of the classroom. You’d already made a stupid excuse about struggling in class for him to tutor you.
Glancing at his form, you lower your head.
“It’s hopeless.”
No matter how much you wanted it, there would never be anything between the both of you. With a soft breath, you turned, walking away.
The rest of the day dragged on. Once it was over and you were home, you spent a bit of time just soaking in the bathtub. By the time you stepped out, you felt a bit better. Walking down the stairs, you were searching for your brother and his noisy best friend. The second you were in the kitchen, you were grabbed into a hug.
“Today we’re having dinner at my house (Y/N)-chan!”
Hashirama’s excited voice shouted.
“W-Wait a minute!!”
You didn’t have a chance to complain, he was dragging you away and Madara just followed along without so much as a word.
“Damn them both.”
The very place you wanted to avoid is where you were now. With a glare, you sat on the couch of Hashirama’s home annoyed. Madara and Hashirama were probably in the back with his other brothers playing some dumb game. For grown ups, they sure were childish.
Since you were stuck here, there was no reason not to explore. At the very least you should get food. You headed up the stairs to wash your hands so you could grab something from the fridge.
On your trip there, your eyes caught Tobirama’s bedroom. Your steps slowed, because the door was slightly ajar. You should have just walked away, you knew that, but you couldn’t help but peek inside. Approaching slowly, you inched closer, just to see, but you couldn’t see him, at least not in the room.
“What are you doing?”
The question made you shriek, and you stumbled backwards, right into his room. A glare was prominent on his face as you stumbled over your words.
“I-I-I wasn’t doing anything!”
From his look, it’s clear he didn’t believe a word.
“Why do you keep following me?”
“I-I wasn’t!!”
“You are.”
He took a step forward, and you could feel your heart strumming aggressively. Right about now you wanted to be anywhere but here.
“Kakashi-sensei told me that you aren’t failing the class. You have the top score. So why did you lie to me? What are you trying to do?”
The discovery brought panic. You should have been more careful, or at the very least come up with a believable explanation, but he looked so angry and the longer you stood there, the more terrified you were that he would find out.
“Answer me.”
You flinched at his tone, and by now, both Hashirama and Madara had come.
“What the hell is going on?”
Madara sounded agitated, especially since it was clear that Tobirama was yelling at you.
“Your sister was sneaking around in my room. Is there a reason for that?”
Tobirama looked pissed and now you were about ready for the floor to open up and just swallow you.
“I’m sure (Y/N)-chan has a reason, don’t you?”
Hashirama stared at you expectantly, and you stammered.
“I-I..I…”
What could you say?
“She has a problem with me. She’s been keeping an eye on me for some reason. A laughable situation given the Uchiha name.”
“Hey! Watch your mouth!”
Madara yelled as he grabbed Tobirama by the collar of his shirt, slamming him to the wall.
“Am I wrong?”
Tobirama’s words were taunting, and Hashirama moved closer to try and de-escalate the situation. You were trembling, because all of this was your fault.
If another argument started between the families, this time it would be your fault. All you seemed to process was the yells from your brother. He was mad at Tobirama because of you, he was fighting him, because of you.
Your eyes shook and you pressed your hands to your chest.
“I-I LIKE YOU TOBIRAMA!!”
Your yell stopped everyone in the room. Madara’s hands lowered slowly, and they all stared, clearly shocked by the confession.
Your entire body was shaky, and when they saw the tears rushing down your cheeks, it became real.
“(Y/N)...”
Madara muttered, clearly taken aback.
Tobirama was no longer braced on the wall, and you sobbed.
“I-I lied about the tutoring because I like you..I-I just wanted to get close to you..”
You felt pathetic.
No one was supposed to find out, especially not him.
His serious expression evened out, and you closed your eyes, dashing out of the room. Madara flinched, chasing after you. Hashirama turned when he heard the door slam shut. Tobirama was still trying to make sense of what you’d said. He expected some kind of scolding from his brother, but he merely walked towards the door.
“You’re not going to say anything?”
Hashirama shook his head, turning with a smile.
“I know you’ll do the right thing.”
Nothing else was said.
Hashirama left.
The next day, he wasn’t surprised that you were absent from school. Madara stopped by, probably to ease his older brother’s mind. When he’d walked past him in the hallway, he said nothing. He didn’t have to. Madara was angry, he knew that. He had every right to be.
There was no discussion on what needed to be done. That evening, Tobirama showed up at your house. He knocked on the door, and when you answered, he knew you weren’t expecting him.
You barely reacted, eyes sullen. When you finally registered it was him, he could practically feel the panic coming off your body. You looked ready to bolt and he stepped inside, bowing just as the door closed behind him.
You were startled, confused, maybe a bit worried.
“S-Senju-san why are you-”
“I apologize. It was wrong to make baseless accusations. I acted impulsively with no consideration for your feelings.”
You were positive you’d never seen Tobirama bow in his life, much less apologize to anyone. You weren’t sure how to respond to it. When he straightened, you felt exposed. He was looking at you, and for the first time, that stoic expression held just a tinge of emotion, maybe even guilt.
“I acted no better than my foolish elders. Please consider my apology.”
You’re not sure what to say. Tobirama is a prideful person, so you understand that working up the courage to admit that he was wrong was not easy. Your hands tugged at your sweater.
“I-It’s fine. I-I’m sorry for lying to you, and sneaking around your room.”
You mumble.
It’s clear that in the near future, you should keep your distance.
His eyes were planted on you, and he couldn’t help but ask.
“Were you serious about your confession?”
Your face heats up, and you want nothing more than to deny it, but when you chance a look at Tobirama, he isn’t glaring the way he usually does. It might just be your imagination, but he looks almost attentive.
Lowering your head, you nod. No good will come of lying again.
“H-Hai.”
He folds his arms.
“How long have you held feelings for me?”
You keep your eyes trained on your feet.
“S-Since that day that you..helped me with the bullies..”
Your voice is soft, and now he’s contemplative.
“That was two years ago. She’s had those feelings since then.”
He was certain you were planning something sinister, or maybe that was just his small mindedness. Had he been more open, maybe he would have seen that your feelings were sincere and avoided the unnecessary hurt he caused when you were forced to make the confession in front of your brother and his.
“I really am no better than those old fools.”
He realized that now.
He needed to make things right.
“I cannot consider your feelings now. “
Your shoulders dropped in defeat. It would be a lie to say you didn’t expect it.
“My contract at Konoha High ends in two months. When it is done, I will apply for another school as a teacher’s aid. At that time, I will give you another apology, a proper apology, and I will consider your feelings seriously.”
Your head lifted slowly, and you stared at him in shock.
“W-What…”
He took a step forward, and your heart jumped at the earnest expression he wore.
“I will work to gain your forgiveness. You have my word.”
Your eyes trembled, and just for a moment, you prayed that this was not some dream your mind created, because you’d never been happier.
All you can truly do is nod.
