and that perfect weekend was over too soon

it's been nearly a year since then

we'll see each other soon

my heart still races at the idea of you

I write a lot about characters distancing themselves from their friend when they fall in love with them- but as i’m experiencing it for myself and trying to distance myself i realize just how hard it is.

they’re the only one who i feel relaxed around and i can be a different version of myself around them. also they are my best friend and i am just naturally attracted to their presence- and likewise. they are always finding me in the halls as well

i want to be ready, to be able to date and love freely, but that’s not how it works for people like me,

it’s an endless cycle it feels like, of growing only to fall and realize just how much of you is still that broken child

i look around and see those around me loving freely, and i wish so badly that i could be like them

HELP I think I’m catching feelings for one of my best friends 😓 She’s so perfect, her lips look so kissable, her waist so holdable. I can’t sit next to her and look into her eyes without having the urge to kiss her. I want her but I doubt she would feel the same way, and I don’t want to ruin our friendship. Perhaps you can't see it, but yandere best friend knowsss that yandere crush likes you back. He has literally been stalking you even before you started liking him, and he's not discreet at all

Yandere best friend who, without your knowledge, takes pictures of you when you sleep, your mouth slightly open, your chest gently moving up and down, and you just look so cute that your best friend just can't help themselves. (they will definitely be getting off to that later)

Out of spite, yandere best friend would even send yandere crush that photo on 1 time view, making him know that he would never get to see this soft, intimate side of you. Yandere crush who gets sooo mad when he sees the photo, but his heart lurches with the desire to be in your best friends place

But yandere crush isn't losing to yandere best friend either, and takes advantage of the fact that you have romantic feelings for him (unlike someone else~)

When he has the chance to, yandere crush will hold as much eye contact with you as possible (he can feel his cheeks get hot and his breathing starts to stutter, ahh how are you so divine-), and he tries to brush his hand against yours, revelling in the fact that you would blush so slightly and giggle. When he does so, he would glare at your best friend dead in the eyes, so smug about that fact that they would never be able to have that effect on you (oh that asshole, they would have his head one day, with his blood on their hands, and maybe they would dig out his heart just for sweet lil you as a gift)

Okay yea basically just like

Yandere best friend who knows that he will never get to spend romantic moments with you, though they get to stick to your side every other moment, and

Yandere crush who knows you do like him back, but will never be able to get intimate with you because he knows that yandere best friend would never let him get close
