Genuinely probably the best I've done so far ahh yaay #It does feel a bit funny to have Papyrus' outfit as kind of a mish-mash of various design elements lol #It's his Battle Body but there's the black-clothed spine from my design but bare arms and legs from Handplates #I dunno I just work here lol #Sans is pretty much on-model at least - Sans no you'll get butter on your gloves!#He's very happy to be here as you can see lol #''be more excited you got a gift from the best skeleton in the underground and above it''#Papyrus just trying to have the most fun :') His enthusiasm makes up for everyone else's - right? Has to #Gaster's being passive - bracelet of yellow flowers huh hmmm - but he's not fighting or leaving! Every little drop of progress #His little kneel under Papyrus' open lap is so cuuuute wahhh <3 <3 Soft interactions! gatsby costume designs 2: nick carraway!

my school’s production of gatsby has two nicks— summer of 1922 nick and narrator nick (who’s framing the narrative to a journalist in the winter in the early 30s).

we decided that nick would be dressed in neutrals— for him to blend into the background in contrast to the rest of the main cast but still be largely distinguishable from the ensemble (whose colours are black and gold)— regular normal nick is in browns and warm greys, while narrator nick is in cool greys (maybe i’m being heavyhanded on the semiotics here but who caresssss im having fun)

#best part of nicks design is that regular normal nick doesn’t have any costume changes :D yippee!#this is because every scene with regular normal nick starts and ends with his presence on stage #and I do Not have the time to do quick changes in between scenes #ignore the obvious detnoir!davey jacobs influence on narrator nick. what works works lol #I’m just realising i forgot to colour narrator nicks shoes. oh well #con doodles #walm school gatsby #the great gatsby #nick carraway

I for one am shocked #My bowties tend to be quite poofy huh always very rounded - Charm's collar tapers kinda almond shaped #I'm still not entirely sure how the double-tapered look works.... It's scalloped >.> That's what I always say lol #Really she probably would and should have the Mandarin collar - possibly more scalloping >:3c - I just go outside the margins a lot haha #I've drawn her once or twice with the butterfly collar tho! Where her collar dips down into her spiderweb pattern at the top of her shirt!#It's a really cute shape ahhh it works best with my lineless stuff but even here I think it turned out nice! :D Cute! Hall of Mirrors definitely deserves that moniker she was introduced with that as a feature #And their cane but pfsh details - the important part is the bowtie! #like arrfgggdiakaktmcksmsama this was literally all for me like they knew what they were doing #i love character design i love pokemon i love miku. and then you put ALL THREE TOGETHER....#i will explain some of my choices here #poison miku is just too good but also i am a big sucker for freaky scientists with constant “worry” eyebrows #her design is just so out there and crazy (this is about the shoes. some understand the greatness of the shoes and some dont. and thats ok.)#every other miku in peak i think establishes their theme exeptionally well especially ghost bug and fighting #for ghost i already love spooky and gloomy looking characters and that miku delivers tenfold (of course shes designed by the GOAT take)#esp with the mix of ghostly and electronic/digital regarding the glitchy parts n the 01 hologram #she looks like shell invade my computer and give it a virus if i dont send the chainmail about her tragic file corruption to 10 friends #(in the best way possible)#for bug miku the big dress is a huge plus but also i just think shes adorable nuff said #for fighting - i love a delinquent character and she fits that really well. the half coat thing is a big highlight for me #also the leek theme is absolutely iconic #for the ones i didnt like as much - i honestly just think the koraidon one is a leeeeetle bit boring #dont get me wrong. it has really cool aspects like the hair and the koraidon like cape but idk #it feels like theres a lot going on but not that much at the same time? its still a really nice design tho esp the hair color #for the ones in yellow tier - i just dont like the color palletes very much . theyre still really nice designs esp fire miku #but all in all these are genuinely all amazing designs and i dont want to be too critical or mean to any of them esp seeing im not a pro #but this was really fun to see unfold!!! cant wait until the songs start dropping #in the topic of miku as well - hey muse dash where's my miku on the switch version....#please dont make us wait too long 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

#sorry im reading another villainess manhwa. its pretty good - villainess's stationary store or whatever the full name is #like the kids are adorable the main character is hilarious and its a fun comic. the comedy in it in general is some of the best #ive seen in a long strip comic for a while especially with how they play with the format #the characters are all great. but i am. of course. specifically obsessed with isaac #main love interest who doesnt even show up meet up with the mc for the first third.... talk about a slow burn #but i love him he is a normal man with something slightly wrong with him. black coffee with a single blueberry shot type of guy #BUT also his design is pretty south asian coded which is a welcome surprise in general but like. you know me. sees one cartoon brown guy #south asian brother??? west asian friend? southest asian bestie??? north african pal?? maybe even carribean family?????#(in the tone of new shoes? are those puppies new?) brown king? brown king? is that a brown king?#SURPRISINGLY they did actually point out how like. much he stands out in the cast like once or twice #but you know ive already grabbed him and put way more layers on him than he actually has. like unconciously LOL #kids loving him vs societal views of him... his success as like the Biggest Wizard vs him as a very visible minority #only in my minds eye as i read. but thats okay. sometimes thats what happens when you read enough pulpy genre fiction as i do <3
