My aunt is very sensitive to strong scents (buys my deodorant so that we know it won't harm her, because other than a couple brands, they give her migraines, we don't have scented candles, and I have a couple of perfumes, but I never wear them), so we're super careful there, but we also can't go into some stores because the perfume counter is Right There. When we go shopping, she knows to look for me in the candle aisle because I'll stand there sniffing each candle and giving a review to whoever is with me at the time

#sounds like we'd probably have good time sniffing candles together #answered #anonymous #yeah the perfume counter is a hell of it's own #I live in a relatively small city so I can only think of one single shop that has a dedicated perfume section #so at least those are easy for me to avoid personally #I used to hate perfumes because the only ones I ever had experiences with were the fruity floral candy smells marketed for women #and the obnoxious overbearing alpha man perfumes for men #there's a lot of variation and interesting combinations if you venture outside the highest selling most strongly gendered mainstream ones #I stubbornly kept testing various ones until I figured out what notes and types of scents I like #and I feel like I have established a pretty reliable pattern #but I understand it's not for everyone and I genuinely try my best to avoid offending people's noses #my favorite thing is to put some on in the evening after I've taken a shower but before I go to bed #just for myself to enjoy for a couple hours

#i'm kidding (maybe) but valentino wouldn't be (perhaps)#it is a kiss btw sete makes the appropriate sound effect and everything. very sweet very wholesome very gracious loser tm #//#brr brr #he makes for such a good foil because he's also so... idk image conscious but rather than use it he tends to get in his own way #complete contrast in their later narrativisation because they both identify a different turning point in their rivalry #(and for MY money they're BOTH overshooting by a few races)#and both make it about unsportsmanlike conduct from the other party. thing is they couldn't have reacted more differently #vale has a tendency with some rivals to play down how central they were to his career and it's not a coincidence (imo) that the biggest -#- victims are the two he had the best relationship with. marc isn't the strongest rival he ever faced. sete is dismissed completely #(which biaggi is to some extent too in that he calls his later rivals stronger but at least he allows biaggi his place in vale's story)#and like... buddy. prime!vale had 14 points in hand over sete with 3 rounds to go let's not pretend it was THAT comfortable my man #but that's what he does! and then sete by contrast makes it about moral injury which is a more flattering story than -#- 'yea he drew some pentagons and lit some candles and chanted a bit in latin and after that my bike would run out of fuel on the last lap'#obviously the relative amount they've discussed it post end of rivalry is completely lopsided but that's true of all but one vale rivalry #all that being said obviously sete did make it way too easy for valentino lmao. the hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby of psychological warfare #//curst

made a lil house in minecraft

#it is modded (the fairy lights and furniture are not vanilla)#and i did follow a youtube tutorial though i edited some parts #but this isn't a cherry grove lmao this is a plains #i added the trees and petals and. pretty much everything that's not normal plains stuff #hid lighting under the moss carpets so it's bright and there's no spawns but i don't need to ruin the Vibe with torches #the lake nearby is only separated from the ocean by a small beach #so i'm gonna dig a canal to connect them and decorate and possibly release the axolotls i found into the lake #one of the mods lets you have candles on lilypads so i'm stoked for that #ALSO. by the bedroom. that's my mine entrance #i literally spent over an hour and over 4 stacks of cherry logs making it (and drowned twice)#it's stripped cherry and birch planks all the way down to -53 #with powdered snow on one side and a soul sand water elevator on the other #i literally haven't even mined yet or even carved out an area to start mining #i just made the shafts. and it took over an hour and two deaths gjfhdhshs #also powdered snow + carpet is my new favorite way of breaking falls thanks youtube #you don't fall into the snow bc of the carpet but it still breaks your fall and you take no damage!#and since it's under carpet it looks cute too #you just have to be careful when using a powdered snow drop next to a water elevator 😔#bc water will wash away the snow... happened to me twice 😭#thankfully i got like 7 buckets of the stuff so i was fine #rey rambles #minecraft #anyway cherry wood was the best thing they've ever added to minecraft i am SUCH a pink bitch and this is perfect #modded pink woods never quite captured the Vibe the way vanilla cherry does
