Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: Park Seonghwa has been given an ultimatum by his parents: a year to marry a woman of their choosing with the end goal of producing an heir to the family fortune since queer party boy Seonghwa can't be trusted with it. His solution? Get absolutely blasted in tattoos to scare off his possible suitors and their families. But why did his tattoo artist have to be so pretty and kind? It's enough to make him question some things. Possibly, everything.
pairing: park seonghwa x hwang hyunjin

III: feelings suck
Seonghwa had to think on his feet when choosing a restaurant and happened to remember a spot he liked in the area that was in the basement of a Japanese fine dining restaurant, owned by the same company but much more relaxed, modeled after the post-war black markets in Tokyo. Dark atmosphere, overpriced cocktails, a large sake selection, and classed up bar food with a Japanese spin.
Seonghwa had received the best head he'd had to date in one of their bathrooms a few years ago. Not that he would be telling Hyunjin about it. But really, the bathrooms were extremely nice.
They sidled into a booth tucked into the corner, nearly private by design, and Seonghwa felt his mouth go dry at how stunning Hyunjin was in the low lantern light.
“Um, order whatever you want, obviously, but unless you have a deadly allergy, we're sharing an order of their fries.” Seonghwa was not accustomed to feeling nervous around anyone or feeling the need to impress - he was Park Seonghwa, after all - and he was sure he could blame some of it on feeling out of sorts after so much of today spent with a needle barraging his skin, but if he was honest with himself, he knew it was because it was Hyunjin in particular he was trying to impress. He felt himself willing the waitstaff over for their drink orders.
“What if I wanted the fries as my entrée?” Hyunjin asked, challenging him.
“Then you'll get the fries as your entrée as well as half of the fries I'm ordering for us to share.” Seonghwa answered simply, feeling accomplished as he watched Hyunjin smile and roll his eyes at the answer he was given.
Hyunjin looked at the menu, “Ooh Japanese sweet potato fries with miso mayo? You weren't joking, they sound so good.”
“Hyunjin,” he fixed him with a stern look, “I never joke about food.”
Hyunjin hid his face with the menu to protect himself from Seonghwa's serious expression, “Duly noted!”
A waitress finally appeared to take their order as soon as Hyunjin returned from the bathroom, (“The bathrooms here are SO nice!” “Aren’t they?!”), and soon enough, they were three shots deep into a nigori sake in a pink bottle that Hyunjin had suggested.
Seonghwa was quickly learning that Hyunjin had very good taste.
And that he was an entertaining storyteller. He had Seonghwa in stitches talking about a cover-up job he had had to do of an extremely elementary portrait of Danny Devito someone had gotten on their ass cheek.
“Honestly, Hwa,” Hyunjin looked at him earnestly, and Seonghwa felt his breath catch at the intimacy around the shortening of his name, “I almost would have rather left the portrait instead of covering it with what he asked for.”
“What did he ask for?” Seonghwa leaned forward, completely immersed.
“You're never going to believe me.” Hyunjin was eating this up.
“I already believed you that a man came in with Danny Devito on his ass cheek, come on! Tell me!” Seonghwa all but pouted.
Hyunjin leaned in like he was telling a secret, “Prince.”
“NO.” Seonghwa was aghast.
“Do you know how wrong it felt to essentially put Danny Devito in blackface as he became the artist formerly known as Prince?!” Hyunjin had obviously told this story before, but Seonghwa loved the theatrics of it.
“You're better than me, I would have told him no.” Seonghwa said through laughter. His cheeks hurt. He hadn't had such a good time in, well, longer than he could remember.
“I was a starving artist, what can I say?” Hyunjin sighed as he shrugged.
They were briefly interrupted by their fries and food being delivered, and after Hyunjin somewhat reluctantly told him he was right about how good the fries were, (“Seriously, if these fries were a guy, I’d be going down on him in the fancy ass bathroom right now”, Hyunjin had joked. Seonghwa had briefly wondered if the man could read minds), Seonghwa finally mustered up the courage to breach the subject he had brought up earlier once more.
“Tell me more about that. If you want, of course. But I want to know how you got started.” He propped his chin into one hand, elbow on the table. Eager.
He had pictured it before. In his mind, Hyunjin was a retired model or something along those lines. Too pretty to never have been paid for his looks before. Or maybe Seonghwa was just conceited and projecting.
Hyunjin sighed and took another sip of his sake before speaking, “It’s not a story I’ve shared with very many people.”
“Oh, well don’t feel pressured to-” Seonghwa began.
Hyunjin cut him off, “No, I think I want you to know.”
Seonghwa didn’t know what to say, so he clasped his hands in front of himself on the table and gave Hyunjin a look he hoped conveyed his undivided attention.
“My parents were always very supportive of me, like I mentioned, but we lived well below the poverty line. I moved out at 18, college was never an option, but I didn’t want to continue taking any resources from my parents, cost them any extra money. For a while I did okay on my own, had a few part-time jobs and could afford my apartment. But then my landlord raised the rent. I started to sell my art to help make ends meet but eventually…” his eyes looked down at the table, avoiding Seonghwa’s gaze, “I ended up living out of my car. I’m extremely fortunate it wasn’t for very long. I had grown apart from my friends after high school and I was too prideful to ask for help from anyone, but one day, the right person happened to take an interest in my art. George would come by once a week and buy a new painting from me. Eventually, he started putting the pieces of my story together, and before I knew it, I was agreeing to apprentice for him at his tattoo shop. He even let me move into his little apartment above the shop. When I finally got licensed and started making money, I tried to start paying him for rent but he refused. He was such a wonderful, kind man.” Hyunjin’s eyes started to well up as he told his story.
Seonghwa reached his hand across the table, taking Hyunjin’s hand in his own, stroking his knuckles softly with his thumb.
Hyunjin swallowed and continued, voice a little thick, “He still is, it’s just not the same.”
“What happened?” Seonghwa asked, voice almost a whisper.
“He had a psychotic break. It was so scary… He was paranoid and thought I was out to get him. I had to take him to get him admitted to a psych hospital because he was threatening me. I found out there that it was very late for his first break, usually it happens before you turn 25. But I guess there’s always outliers. Anyways,” his eyes met Seonghwa’s again, and he wanted to reach up to wipe away the tear that was streaking its way down the man’s cheek, but didn’t think it appropriate at that very moment, “He lives in an assisted living facility now. He signed over the shop and the apartment to me as soon as he was lucid again after his first break. I still go see him… not as often as I should. I feel bad about that. But it’s hard. He’s rarely, I don’t know how to say it other than ‘himself’ but I don’t know. It’s been years and at this point, I’ve known this version of him for as long as I knew him before.”
“Hyunjin…” Seonghwa was always terrible at comforting people, “I can’t imagine how hard that must be.”
“It just. Sucks. It’s always the people who least deserve it it seems. Not that anyone really deserves that sort of thing, but you know what I mean. And then the worst people seem to get everything. Things just handed to them. Money. No health problems. Probably live until they’re 100.”
“Like my dad.” Seonghwa laughed wryly.
“Is he as bad as he’s made out to be?” Hyunjin asked and Seonghwa couldn’t help but admire this man who obviously wanted to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
“Honestly?” Seonghwa sighed, still not quite believing he was willingly opening up with someone, “He’s worse. Despite how hard they may have tried, the tabloids didn’t have access to the inside of my house growing up. No one really knows how he treated me and my mom.” Seonghwa never talked about his family. Always played his upbringing off as some sort of joke to be made for shock value.
But here Hyunjin was again.
Cracking his ribs open and exposing the tender muscle encased inside.
Beating red and real.
“But I mean, can I really complain?” He tried to steer the conversation back away from himself, “I’ve never gone through anything like not knowing whether or not I’ll have a roof over my head or anything like that, I shouldn’t complain, I’m so-”
“Don’t,” Hyunjin cut him off, “don’t say you’re sorry, Hwa. It doesn’t do any good to compare the acuity of your trauma to someone else’s. Just because it’s different doesn’t mean it’s less, or has affected you less.”
Seonghwa felt so fragile, vulnerable, and what’s worse is that he didn’t hate it. He was terrified, but not because he didn’t feel safe sharing with Hyunjin. In fact, it was the opposite.
He was terrified because he did feel safe with the gorgeous man across from him.
He didn’t know what to say so he just gave a small smile and said, “Thank you. For saying that. And for sharing.”
“Any time, Seonghwa.” Hyunjin squeezed his hand.
Seonghwa ignored the butterflies that awoke inside his stomach at the man’s touch.
He walked Hyunjin back to his apartment. He didn’t know what was getting into him, suddenly feeling the need to be gentlemanly or something.
The conversation had turned lighter on their walk home, warm from the sake and the food and each other's company. Seonghwa noted how easy it was to be around Hyunjin. Noted it and then boxed it up and filed it away to examine later.
Probably.
There was a persimmon tree stubbornly still growing through the concrete sidewalk in front of the tattoo shop and Hyunjin stopped to examine it, checking to see if any were ripe yet. No luck in that department, but they both spotted something at the same time that felt even luckier, Hyunjin reached out to grab whatever part of Seonghwa was closest (his wrist) in order to grab his attention, “Hwa, look!” he exclaimed, right as Seonghwa spotted it, all but squealing, “Jin, look!”
They looked at each other briefly, smiling at how they were yet again perfectly in sync with one another.
A giant luna moth was perched on the trunk of the persimmon tree, nearly glowing in the moonlight.
“I know what your next tattoo is going to be.” Hyunjin whispered, and Seonghwa’s stomach clenched as the other’s hand traveled down from his wrist, finding purchase between his fingers instead, fitting together like they were made for each other.
“It’s perfect.” Seonghwa agrees, knowing that Hyunjin will turn it into a beautiful piece, probably to include the persimmons and the tree itself as well.
“Oh yeah?” Hyunjin asked, as Seonghwa felt himself lean in closer.
Hyunjin did the same, and Seonghwa answered, “Yeah.”
And before he could think better of it, his mouth was on Hyunjin’s. The kiss was searing, their lips fit together unimaginably easily. He sucked on Hyunjin’s lower lip, unable to resist, and it pulled a moan from the man’s throat that shot a bolt of lightning up Seonghwa’s spine. He reached up and tangled one hand in Hyunjin’s hair, the other on his waist, pulling him close, and Hyunjin followed suit, seeming to read his mind yet again, turning their heads to better access the insides of one another’s mouths.
But no. No. He couldn’t do this. As much as it pained him, he pulled away, nearly stumbling back with the force that it took to break such a kiss.
“I’m sorry, I-” He took a shaky breath, “I shouldn’t have done that.”
Hyunjin looked insanely beautiful with his flushed cheeks and spit-slick rosy pout, face confused and a little hurt, “Um. Okay? I mean. I guess I don’t really understand why we can’t…”
Seonghwa sighed, “I don’t really either. But I mean. I’m a client. We should probably keep things professional.”
It was a lie. He really didn’t care about that, and the look on Hyunjin’s face almost had him backpedaling.
“Oh, god, of course. I’m so sorry. I didn’t even think about that, I’m… I’m sorry. I guess I just got a little caught up.” He was embarrassed and all Seonghwa wanted to do was hold him until he felt better. Kiss his pain away.
The truth was that he knew he could never be with Hyunjin after he went through all this trouble to keep the money. If you had asked him before tonight, he would have said it was just the reasoning Mingi had fed to him, why he was hesitant to give into his developing infatuation with the man. But now, knowing his backstory, Seonghwa felt he should protect Hyunjin from himself. He deserved someone better.
Someone brave enough to give up the money for him.
Someone Seonghwa was too cowardly to be.
But blaming it all on professionalism was much easier.
“It’s okay, really. It was my fault, too. I just think it’s probably better if we do it this way. I really like your art and I don’t want to find a different artist and if we explored this and things went badly…”
“No, yeah, of course. I totally get it.” Tears were building in Hyunjin’s eyes again and it took every ounce of restraint Seonghwa had in his being not to pull him close.
“Good.” It wasn’t. “Glad we’re on the same page.” He wasn’t. “I’m sorry again…”
Hyunjin turned towards his apartment door, “I’ll see you at your next appointment, Seonghwa. Be safe getting home.”
Seonghwa cried the entire way home.
To make everything worse, when he finally checked his phone after arriving safely back home, he had a text from his mom.
Ma
Meet us at the marina at 11 o’clock. We’re taking the boat out with Sloane Greenburg and her family. Please do some research to make a good impression. Dress nicely.
Calling their yacht a “boat” was laughable and assuming he would dress anything but nicely was even more so.
He tried to distract himself by researching the family he would be meeting tomorrow but after finding an article with a stuffy picture of Sloane in her graduation cap, Valedictorian at Brown, class of 2021, which turned out to be less about her research and more of an advertisement for the entertainment company her father owned, Seonghwa felt his eyes unfocus from the boredom.
He was unable to think about anything besides how incredible his night with Hyunjin had been, his fingertips still felt like they were burning from the contact with the man’s skin. He felt like he needed to punch something with how frustrated he was at himself for being who he was as a person and being too afraid to really consider changing.
Luckily for his pillows, he was never one for violence.
Instead, he texted Mingi:
Me
I had dinner with my hot tattoo artist
Mingus
idiot. how was it?
Me
It was so good. 🙁 Turns out he’s a fantastic person.
Now I have an even worse reason to not get involved.
Mingus
damn. did u at least fuck him before figuring this out?
Me
Worse.
Kissed him impulsively.
Stopped it and told him we should be professional.
Mingus
oh shit.
u actually like him
rip buddy
Me
Any advice?
Mingus
only the advice u don’t wanna hear, man
Me
Ugh. I know.
Mingus
love u bro. chin up. it’ll pass.
Seonghwa knew he was right. Unfortunately, for the first time ever, he wasn’t sure he wanted the feeling to pass.
He was too upset to do anything else, so he took a pre-rolled joint out of his stash in his bedside table drawer and went out on the balcony to smoke it, letting his worries float away in the air with each lungful of smoke he released from his mouth.
Usually this helped.
Tonight, it just had his imagination acting up.
He pictured himself and Hyunjin slow dancing in the living room of a small but stylish and comfortable home. A cat weaving its way in between their legs. Home cooked dinner baking in the oven, the smell wafting through the air. The peace this imaginary version of himself felt was all-consuming.
He shook his head, trying to clear it, but he couldn’t get the thoughts to leave.
He went inside when the joint was finished, stripped off his clothes, and headed to the bathroom.
Despite desperately craving the comfort of a hot shower, he instead punished himself with a cold one.  The shock of the icy water sobered him up.
It also reminded him of how his dad had gone about “teaching” him to swim as a kid.  A shove on his back, a curt instruction as he fell to, “sink or swim.”
Sometimes he wished he wouldn’t have learned. Taught his dad a lesson. But he had to remind himself, he probably wouldn’t have learned.  Knowing his dad, he would have buried Seonghwa and gone home to bury himself inside his wife, trying for a new victim immediately, all in the same day.
Somehow, thinking of himself as the only reason some other poor kid hadn’t been brought into this world to endure what he had - simply by him existing and refusing to die when he had the chance and refusing to not be a thorn in his dad’s side his entire life from then on - made him feel a little better.
Even just for a moment.
Mostly he still felt like shit.
The promise of getting to show off his fresh, still-wrapped tattoo tomorrow, considering they would be on the boat and short sleeves would be appropriate, was the only thing that finally got Seonghwa to sleep that night.

Enough time has passed so i wanna talk about it The best scene in Kamen Rider Gotchard so far Exactly, the Meaty Cream Puff scene
Tumblr media
I know, you know, we all know, the scene per se is unimportant, the acting is tacky, the dialogue is a bit off... Technically not the greatest of the scenes in the franchise but yet it is my favorite scene in this series. Why? I'm glad you asked, i love talking my hyperfoci. First, context: The scene follows a warming moment between Houtaro and Rinne when our little treasure conforts the genious girl after a cronfotation that opened scars in the girl resolution to follow rules.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A good scene that show how empatic Houtaro is to his friend, and adds to the theme of the episode: Is following the rules synonymous with doing the right thing? Then, the cerberus Malgan atacks and Kajiki, of course is Kajiki, posts of it on the internet. As a result, two interactions are interrupted. First, Renge is working in the Ichinose Kitchen when Sabi calls for her:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
See how she confuses Sabi's nickname to the Sabe from saba miso? That's a great pun. It's human! It's a mistake that you can see yourself doing, it's so freaking natural! Following this, Sabi calls for Houtaro and Rinne, warning them about the monster right after the poor girl had been subjected to Houtaro's newest culinary monstrosity:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This scene has all! It brings back a character trait of Houtaro and puts Rinne to react to it, initially weirded out knowing the boy has make something terrible again and still trying it to politely say it's bad. The direction is also funny, playing with the camera and the characters' expressions very well. But why these scenes are so great to me? Why i like this simple interactions so much? BECAUSE THEY WERE INTERRUPTED! Both scenes shows that while protecting people and defeating monsters are our heros priority, they're not doing it 24/7. Renge is working with Houtaro's mon, either for the money, or to thank her for letting them stay there playing rebellious clandestine alchemists, Houtaro and Rinne are living their normal school life, the boy is still trying to make the perfect weird dish or whatever, the girl is still confronted with her friend's bad food on a daily basis. The life is still hapenning despite the plot! They are eating, working, studying, cooking... THEY ARE LIVING! And then! It's interrupted because a monster invades their daily life. The four kids rush to action... and the gags continues:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The monster who was obssed with food every time it appeared in the episode tries Houtaro food! The kids atenction are dragged to it, Rinne glances at her friend that can't take his eyes for the events that unfold... and the monster toss the food out cause even it can't take the boy's food.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The boy is heartbroken. It doesn't get better when he realises that rinne is silently agreeing in the background, making him shout of frustration while transforming to fight. This, my loved friends, is absolute cinema. This kind of characterization, this small moments, can do SO MUCH for this charcters! You empathize with Rinne when she is forced to agree with the monster that the food isn't the best, you feel sorry for Houtaro when even your friend agrees with a meat-obsessed monster about his cooking, you laugh with complicity when Renge gets Sabi's name wrong because of the dish she just delivered! These characters are suddenly humanized before your eyes! They are no more just characters, they're humans, they're friends, they are flawed, they are lovable. Gotchard 19 is my favorite episode so far, i loved Akiko-sensei writing and hope she comes back to the series soon!

Yumi stores a lot of importance in his hair and takes care of it very well.

Personality:
Yumi has many different facets to his personality. When he was younger, he was soft-spoken and wary of others. As he grew older, he was less afraid of other people than critical of them. As he gained confidence, what other people said mattered less and less to him. He was often judged harshly for his stylistic choices and mannerisms, but somehow managed to develop a self-assured and go-with-the-flow personality. His best friend and first boyfriend had a lot to do with this. They were opposites this way, Shuhei often being hot-headed and tightly wound, and Yumi being more calm and easygoing. When you get to know him, he makes a lot of jokes and can be very flirty. He's supportive and kind to the people that he cares about and gives a lot of good advice. He values close relationships and will do whatever it takes to protect the people he cares about. Yumi is very good at choosing his battles, which is something he learned at a very young age. Yumi is someone who will go to war for his family. Not necessarily the family he was born to, but most certainly the family he found.
About Him:
Yumi's household situation was less than ideal. His father, Daigo, was a small business owner. His mother, Erina, was a stay-at-home mother. His father urged him from a young age to take an apprenticeship at his business, but that was never in Yumi's interest. Daigo was never supportive of the things Yumi had taken an interest in as a child. He would urge him to spend more time doing things 'befitting of a boy'. He would threaten to cut his hair and burn his clothes and toys. This quickly caused a divide between Yumi and his father, so quickly that Yumi can hardly recall a time when he liked his father.
He spent a lot of time with his mother because of this. She bought him his first fish, which they kept in their koi pond outside. They would often bond with activities such as these, which increasingly damaged the family dynamic with Daigo. Yumi saw how these actions affected his father and chose to stay away from home as much as possible. He didn't understand why he had to choose between a close relationship with his mother and his family's safety, but he had learned very quickly that causes have effects.
Between his time at home and at school, Yumi found refuge at a tattoo parlor down the road, where an astounding artist did his work. Nozomi Ito, he was called, lived there with his son and young daughter. He took a liking to Yumi and he often spent time with them when he couldn't stomach being home. In fact, he spent so much time there that Ito's daughter, Jasika, and Yumi became as close as siblings.
Meanwhile, Daigo's business was failing. After bankruptcy, he was desperate for a source of income. He had begun farming like many of the other families in the province, but it was not enough.
Jumping on the first opportunity at a lump sum, Daigo had hastily promised his only son to the daughter of the Hada family. They were a well-to-do family with a barren daughter, so Daigo's desperation was equal to the Hadas' desire to find a husband for their daughter. Erina was furious about Daigo's decision to marry their son off to someone he didn't know at such a young age, but it was final. At eight years old, Yumi didn't understand what engagement meant. He met Tsumugi-Gen shortly after the engagement was finalized. The two got along quite well and became friends. The families allowed them to wait to be married until they were of legal age so that the children could focus on their educations.
After this event, the Ishizaki family was at its weakest. Daigo began to take out his many frustrations on his resentful wife and helpless son, with many arguments and threats. Yumi had been hit many times, but never retaliated until he saw his mother being abused.
Yumi couldn't stand to watch his mother be punished for things they couldn't control. Yumi thought if he was just a better boy, then all of this would never happen. He thought if he disappeared, things would be better for them.
He applied for the prestigious Ishikawa Academy, where Kyoh's best and brightest were cultivated into the most important and influential figures in the country. He deemed it the golden ticket to run away from home and provide the means for his mother to finally leave his father. The Hada family wrote him a recommendation letter that helped him get into the academy. At eight years old, he packed his things and was gone, living between the Hada family home and Ito's house until he was accepted and escorted to the academy where he spent the next fourteen years of his life.
After graduation, Yumi stayed in Kyoh for a short while. He ended things with his first love to marry Tsumugi as he'd promised. After a year of marriage, his wife could see he was not fulfilled. It was hard to do, yet she told him the marriage could be annulled. He'd already done more than what was expected of him, she said, and the marriage was something that neither of them chose. Yumi had a heavy heart but they agreed that it was the best option and he assured her it was never anything she could have changed. He loved her, but not in the way that was expected of them.
Yumi then took his degree and used it to move to a bustling metropolis. He easily obtained work writing for an informer, work he was overqualified for but loved nonetheless. He lived alone with his cat for months, plagued by strange dreams he could not properly control. Dreams he's had ever since he was a child.
It was here in this place he met the girl that would open his eyes and become his forever partner.

Toonami Weekly Recap 03/25/2023
Food Wars: The Fifth Plate (The BLUE Arc) EP#75 (02) - The BLUE Preliminaries: While Erina has a special invitation for BLUE, only three students from Totsuki will be allowed to participate. In order to determine the three students who will participate, Erina organizes the BLUE Preliminaries, pitting Totsuki's most talented students against each other. With the theme being soup, all the gathered students begin making their dishes. Soma makes third place with his Golden Eggs filled with hamburg steak, yakiniku, omelet rice, and fried salmon soups. Takumi makes second place with his cheese fondue minestrone soup. Megumi earns first place with her seafood meatballs filled with various different types of miso soup. Meanwhile, in the United States, Joichiro is defeated in a cooking match against an unknown challenger. One week before BLUE is scheduled to start, Suzuki challenges Soma to an unofficial Shokugeki, explaining he needs a win against the First Seat to earn a spot in BLUE himself so he can achieve his dream of making Erina his bride. Soma accepts under the condition that Suzuki reveal the secret he is hiding if Soma wins.
My Hero Academia Season 6 After the PLW Arc EP#131 (18) - Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki: Izuku awakens in the vestige world of One For All, where he encounters all eight predecessors of One For All (with the second and third users facing away from him). The first user reveals that between One For All's increased growth in power and All For One's intervention, they are now freely able to communicate with each other and Izuku. The fourth user and the user of Danger Sense, Hikage Shinomori, introduces himself to Izuku, as they discuss with him about the true nature of One For All. He reveals that he died at the age of 40 due to "old age", after holding One For All for 18 years. Aware that All Might held the power for 40 years, they determine that One For All greatly diminishes the lifespan of those who already possess a Quirk, and because All Might was Quirkless, he was saved from this burden. Due to this revelation, they surmise that due to the increased power in the Quirk and the decreasing Quirkless population, Izuku may be the last wielder of One For All. Nana then confronts Izuku, asking if he is resolved to kill Shigaraki, stating that All For One intends to use his intense rage to overwhelm and finally steal One For All, which he has failed to do in the past. They are aware that Izuku felt like he needed saving, but warn him that he could be beyond saving and turn into an unstoppable monster. Izuku stands firm that he saw a little boy crying within Shigaraki during their encounter, and that All Might showed him One For All is a power meant to save not kill, so while he is resolved to do so if he has to, he wants to try and save him first. The users accept his hand as Nana breaks down in tears, apologizing for testing him. Back outside, Hawks and Best Jeanist confront All Might about One For All and realizing he can't keep the secret anymore, reveals everything to them. Several days later, Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist put on a press conference to address the public of Dabi's accusations and their plan to turn U.A. into an evacuation facility to protect the civilians. At the same time, Izuku gives letters to all of his classmates, revealing the truth about One For All and All For One, and leaves the school.
My Hero Academia Season 6 Dark Hero Arc EP#132 (19) - Full Power!!: Ketsubutsu Academy third-years Yo and Tatami enter a nearly abandoned city in order to evacuate the remaining civilians, having received reports of a jailbreaker causing destruction nearby. Yo attempts to convince them, but they refuse as they no longer trusting in Heroes and believing they can fend off danger and protect themselves. Shortly after they encounter the aforementioned jailbreaker Muscular, who Yo attempts to fight off while Tatami goes to protect the civilians. Yo is pinned down, but even after using his Quirk at full power, Muscular has the upper hand and nearly kills him, until a hooded Deku, covered in purple smoke, appears to save him. Muscular recognizes him from their fight in the forest and excitingly prepares to fight him. Deku hands the unconscious Yo to Tatami and re-enters the fight. The sixth user En warns him to not overuse his Quirk Smokescreen as Deku uses his new arsenal of abilities and experience to get the upper hand on Muscular. He attempts to reason with him, asking him why he causes trouble and even referring to him by his real name, but Muscular declares all he cares for is wanton destruction. Taking advantage of his muscle fibres being damaged by Yo, Deku punches him with a Detroit Smash, knocking him unconscious. While Deku brings Muscular to prison, the civilians agree to evacuate with the Ketsubutsu students, not wanting anyone else to get hurt. Deku temporarily reunites with All Might before heading off to deal with the next threat. Several days prior at the hospital, Izuku awoke to learn the injuries on his body were not as fatal as they initially believed due to his increased in strength in his body. He and All Might then tell Inko the truth behind One For All, with Izuku saying he won't be returning to U.A. in order to protect everyone with Shigaraki targeting him. He comforts his tearful mother telling her he will return to her, with All Might saying he will stay by his side. They decide to team up with Endeavor, Hawks, and Best Jeanist, using Izuku as bait to lure the villains out of hiding. Before leaving the hospital, Izuku visits Gran Torino who tells him killing can be a way to save, and hands him his scarf to wear.

.ೃ࿐ MHA MEN AS GIRL DADS
contents: bakugo + midoriya + todoroki + hawks + aizawa. fem!reader. bakugo's his usual snarky self. mentions of sheltering in midoriya's part. vague mentions of an injury in aizawa's part. consider this my return to the mha fandom.. ish.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
★ ━ KATSUKI BAKUGO
katsuki teaches his daughter to handle the stupid, ignorant world she lives in.
he affectionately refers to her as his tough little girl, and it's true—she inherited her dad's sass and thick exterior.
in school, she's that girl who argues with the teacher over dumb rules, and when katsuki and you get called in for her misbehavior, your husband just laughs and ruffles his daughter's hair.
yeah, she's a handful, but at least you and katsuki know that your daughter can stick up for herself!
that being said, both of you are still very willing to step in when it's necessary.
one time, your daughter came home, sniffling over something a "dumbass shrimp" (in katsuki's words) said to her.
needless to say, the boy who made your daughter cry was the one who went home bawling after katsuki had a friendly chat with him :)
your daughter's tough enough to fight for herself, but in the worst case scenario, she also has two parents to back her up!!
★ ━ IZUKU MIDORIYA
he treats his daughter like the delicate little girl she is!
having seen the harsh, unforgiving world through his own eyes, izuku doesn't want the universe to treat his daughter as badly as it treated him :(
so he protects her at all times.
that means covering her eyes when bad things come on the news and sometimes—sometimes—telling small, white lies about the things he's done and the people he's fought against.
after all, he wouldn't want to burden his little girl with the truth of her world this soon.
she's too young to deal with all of this, and that's the one thing izuku will always stand by.
sometimes you tell him that he's sheltering her too much, but there's no convincing him. at all.
he's a very sweet, understanding dad, but he wants his daughter to have a happy childhood, free from the stress of the hero world.
★ ━ SHOTO TODOROKI
he's a very good dad by any standards—other parents/teachers always comment that your daughter was raised very well.
shoto's always there to listen when your daughter has a bad day, and he's always there to congratulate her when she has a good day!
sure, he's busy a great deal of the time, but that never really made him seem absent.
when shoto's with you two, his attention is entirely fixed on his girls.
your daughter is in love with her father's cooking—one time, she came home talking about something tasty she tried on a field trip, and shoto spent two hours learning how to make it for her!!
shoto's the perfect dad, no matter what way you look at it.
instead of repeating his father's mistakes, he learned from them and used that example to make himself better.
needless to say, he's also a perfect husband—most of the time.
the stress of being a pro-hero rubs off on him sometimes, and when that happens, it's up to you to ease him up.
a massage and a bowl of miso soup usually does the trick—especially if it's his adorable daughter who hands him the bowl.
★ ━ KEIGO TAKAMI
keigo's a super fun dad!!
he gives his daughter the best childhood she could possibly ask for—the perfect mix of thrill and responsibility.
some nights when his workload's light, he takes you and your daughter out on a quick flight up to the tallest building in the city.
it's become something of a family tradition—keigo scoops up his girls in his arms and takes them to the rooftops, where you spend the next couple hours picnic-ing and watching the sun fall below the horizon.
just like everyone else, he's very busy, but goes out of his way to make time for you two!
the amount of shifts he's ditched or given away to come home early is... less than ideal for his employer.
keigo loves telling his daughter about his job—unlike midoriya, keigo tells his daughter everything from a young age.
obviously, he sugarcoats it a lot.
he makes it sound like it's a game of superheroes and villains, and that her dad's the knight in shining armor.
and to her, keigo really is her knight.
★ ━ SHOTA AIZAWA
he raises his daughter to not take any shit from others.
yeah, shota himself doesn't have any desire to deal with any more bullshit than necessary, so he passes down that same trait to his daughter.
most people are relatively skeptical as to how good of a dad shota could possibly be, given his reputation, but he really is an amazing dad.
shota's a very good listener, and even better at giving advice.
which makes the father-daughter chats both easy and entertaining!!
your daughter always goes to shota about any drama or rumors she hears about, and shota gives genuine advice that any girl would listen to.
shota's half-asleep for a pretty big fraction of his life, but he's wide awake wherever you or his daughter's concerned.
when your daughter trips and scrapes her knee for the first time, shota's there instantly, holding both her little hands in his own and comforting her while you bandage her knee.
he distracts her by pointing out the cat prowling along the side of the street, and it works like a charm!
once your daughter's tears have stopped and a small smile's returned to her face, shota takes you and her out for ice cream :)

❥@mizginistkrass123 requested: Can i request Ran and Rindou with a lil Sister (age 8-9) and how they love and protect her with lots of fluff ? It alright if you dont to write that or if im to unclear. Have a good Dayyy❤️❤️❤️
❥A/N: Yes! Sorry it took so long to complete!
Tumblr media
Sunday
At 8:00 am, just like every day, Ran was woken up by his little sister jumping on his bed.
"You said we're going to the amusement park today!"
He grunted and pretended to be asleep, waiting for the little girl to get closer to him, only to quickly hold her with one arm and tickle her with his other hand.
Ran smiled as he saw his little sister laughing, trying to stop his attack.
"Have you woken Rindou up yet?"
"Yes! He's making breakfast!"
Ran scrunched his nose at that, knowing that Rindou still had a long way to learn in the kitchen.
"Let's go before he overcooks our miso soup"
He picked her up and walked to the kitchen, to find Rindou doing his best try at preparing some salmon.
Ran took it from there and finished making the breakfast for the three of them. They each got dressed and took Y/N out for a day at the amusement park, as a prize for doing well in school.
Tuesday
"Ran!" Y/N called the moment she saw her big brother waiting for her outside the school. She ran as fast as she could and jumped into his arms, her brother spinning her around before sitting her on his arm.
"Eri doesn't want to come play with me," she complained with a pout.
"And why's that?" Rindou asked, grabbing the little girl's backpack from Ran.
"She says you two beat up her brother"
"Who?" Ran asked. If he had to remember every loser's name he had ever laid a hand on, he wouldn't have any room left in his memory.
"Shuntaro"
As if on queue, the boy in question scurried away from the Haitani siblings' sight, holding his little sister's hand.
Ah, so it was That loser.
"Well, maybe if he wasn't so stup—" he was interrupted by Rin, who lightly kicked his leg "okay, go to her and apologize on our behalf" he said and put the girl down.
He rolled his eyes at his little brother, as if saying 'are you happy?' and both observed the interaction from afar.
They saw their sister bow down, seemingly apologizing and her friend hugged her. Then, Shuntaro turned slowly to look at the brothers. They waved at him, Ran with a forced, menacing smile and Rindou with indifference clear on his face. Both chuckled when they noticed the guy trembling, saying something to the two girls and nervously eyeing the brothers from time to time. Then, the two girls walked back to where the two brothers were.
"Can Eri come have lunch with us?" Y/N asked them, although she had already decided that her friend would be spending the evening with her.
"Sure, wherever you want to go. It's our treat" Ran said.
Thursday
"Rin I don't get it! I don't want to do homework anymore!"
The little girl pushed away the notebooks and books in front of her, curling herself into a ball on the chair, hiding her face from her brother.
Rindou sighed. Maybe he was starting to lose his temper and she noticed it.
"C'mon, Y/N," he said, placing his hand on her shoulder, but she moved, shaking his hand away.
He stood and crouched in front of her.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have raised my voice at you," he said, but got no response, "let's finish homework, you're smart, you'll get this in no time"
" 'm not," she mumbled, "I'm dumb and you're gonna get mad at me. I don't wanna do homework anymore," she said through sobs.
Now Rindou truly felt bad.
"No, you're not dumb, Y/N," he said, "your brother is the dumb one here, I didn't explain this clearly and wanted you to get it. I'm sorry"
The girl slowly lifted her head to look at her brother.
"We'll go get some taiyaki when we're done, deal?"
She nodded and wiped off her tears.
Saturday
"Ran, have you seen Y/N?"
"Weren't you two going to the park?"
"I can't find her anywhere"
In a rush, both brothers left the house to look for their sister. One would think no one would ever dare to harm the youngest Haitani, being under the protection of her brothers. But then again, she was the weakest Haitani, a quick way to get to the other two and some didn't care of they had to harm a child in order to get their goal.
It had been almost two hours since they had started to look for her to no avail. They had gone to her school, her friends' houses, her favorite cafes and were now looking in her favorite park. It was getting dark outside and they were growing desperate, waiting for a call from some lowlife rat threatening them, saying they had their sister.
Until they heard a very distinct laughter and they rushed to follow the sound. They tensed a little when they recognized who she was with. The dragon tattoo was unmistakable and the blonde, short guy was someone one could never forget.
They called for their sister when they were a few metres away, the girl turning around with a wide smile and running to them.
"Why did you leave on your own?" Ran said, trying to keep a calm demeanor, "we were worried something had happened to you"
"I'm sorry," she apologized, "Rin was taking too long and I really wanted to go to the park and then I bumped into him," she pointed at Draken, "and his tattoo is so cool and Mikey bought me sweets"
She soon started rambling about all the things they had been doing together and they thanked whatever superior force for those two to have a strong moral compass and simply deciding on babysitting the kid.
"Bye-bye Y/N!" Mikey said in a sweet voice, smiling at the girl, "be good to your brothers!"
The girl nodded and waved at them.
"Bye-bye!"
Draken smiled at the girl and waved her goodbye. Neither acknowledged the brothers and simply walked away.
Ran then lifted his sister and carried her home on his shoulders, the three choosing on what they should have for dinner on their way back.

Ma
Pairing: Naruto Uzumaki x motherfigure!reader
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: None, as far as I recall
Word count: 1398
Author's Note: Y'all i suck at titles i was so close to just naming this shit The Smile™. anywho enjoy this piece of motherly love churned out in like forty minutes.
Tumblr media
She remembered how she’d found him. There was only the smallest crowd surrounding him, murmurs and whispers flitting back and forth. She’d been on her way to get groceries, initially ignoring the group of people herself, when the name ‘Naruto’ attracted her attention.
Naruto. Minato and Kushina’s son.
Instantly she’d stopped in her tracks, changing directions as to investigate what exactly was up. And oh, the condition the boy was in was enough to tug at her heartstrings - gashes and bruises were scattered across his body, peeking out from under the torn tatters of his clothes; blood seeped from his nose, his split lip, the multiple cuts his body had.
Shifting the bag so that it hung on her shoulder, the woman lifted the frail, clearly undernourished child up, and paying no heed to the villagers who were clearly appalled at the sight in front of them, she’d hurried to Konoha’s hospital.
It was while she paid for his medical expenses did the woman decide – she wouldn’t trust the poor child at the Hokage’s hands. However great a Kage may be, in the end of the day, he too was nothing at the hands of the people and politics. The villagers of the Leaf were bent on not accepting the boy solely because he was a Jinchuriki; a fate bestowed upon him by the Fourth Hokage, his father, the man the village worshipped. It truly was strange seeing all these mature adults resent a mere toddler just because he had the Kyuubi sealed inside of him. They didn’t realise that he was protecting them in a manner ever so sacrificial; they didn’t care that the Nine Tails would probably harm the boy more than it would ever them.
He’d woken up (jumped up, rather), began pestering her with questions. It was truly so sorrowful; the boy couldn’t – he simply wouldn’t – believe that someone would actually try to help him. When she’d told him that he was going to be living with her from then on, that she would be his guardian; oh, the sheer, unadulterated joy on his face shook the woman to her core. In all her years, in her entire thirty-three-year lifespan, never had the female witnessed an expression so pure – his euphoria shone through the shocked look on his face, and then through the face-splitting grin he wore.
He’d hugged her. She’d been surprised. After all, no child, even a four-year-old, hugged a stranger this freely.
She’d hugged him back anyways.
“Well, introduce yourself. It’s bad manners not to.”
“I’m Naruto Uzumaki, believe it! I’m going to become Hokage someday, you’ll see! The strongest Hokage ever!
“Oh?”
“Yes! I’ll save the village, and then its people will give me ramen!”
“Oh… you’re quite ambitious. Very determined too. I’m sure you’ll be Hokage, but for now, why don’t we get you something to eat? What would you like?”
“Ramen!”
She remembered the first time he’d called her ‘ma’. He’d been seven-years-old. She’d been putting him to bed, telling him fables of the Yondaime Hokage and his adventures. She hadn’t thought it wise to tell him that she’d been a mentor of his. That was a tale for another time.
She had crossed the threshold when she heard the little child’s voice call out to her.
“Yes, Naruto?”
“…Who were my parents? What were they like?”
“…”
“I - I’m sorry if you don’t wanna say it!”
“Your parents, Naruto, were two of the kindest, bravest people I’ve met. Your father was very charming, and your mother was beautiful. They were like prince and princess.”
“Oh. So… if they were prince and princess, then what am I?”
“Well, that would make you a prince, won’t it? When a prince and princess grow up, they become king and queen. So you’re prince.”
“Oh. You’re so intelligent! So you’re a queen too then?”
“Well… that depends. Would you want me to be queen?”
“Yes! I’m the prince, and the mother of a prince is a queen, isn’t she?”
“…Do you think of me as your mother, Naruto?”
“Of course! You take care of me, make food for me, buy clothes for me, tell me stories, put me in bed at night. That’s everything a mother does!”
“…”
“You’re my Ma, believe it!”
She’d kissed him goodnight. She might have shed a tear or two, too.
She remembered all their friendly banter. The quarrels over ramen, how she’d become a little stern, how he’d apologise fervently.
“Ma?”
“Mm-hm?”
“Can we have ramen for dinner today? Please?”
“Didn’t we have ramen for lunch yesterday? You can’t eat that all the time, you need to eat other stuff too, you know. Vegetables, fish, rice, miso -”
“But none of it is as good as ramen!”
“Really? You think so?”
“Yes! Believe it!”
“I do believe you, you knucklehead. But since you value ramen over my healthy, home cooked food, why don’t you make food for the rest of the week?”
“…Hah? No! Ma, I was kidding, believe it! Please, your food is great, it’s the best!”
“…Better than ramen, then?”
“Well, no, but -!”
She remembered when he left the village for training with Jiraiya. She couldn’t help but compare the scene of Naruto beside Jiraiya to Minato beside Jiraiya.
“Don’t be sad at all Ma! I’m gonna get stronger after training with Pervy Sage, and I’m gonna bring back Sasuke, believe it! I’ll save him from Orochimaru, that bastard -”
“Language, Naruto.”
“Sorry! But anyways, I’m gonna go now. Goodbye, Konoha! I know you’ll miss me! Bye, M – Ma? Ma, what -?”
“It’s nothing, you idiot. I’m your mother, aren’t I? Can’t I hug my boy goodbye?”
She remembered when he’d encountered Sasuke and Orochimaru.
“I was useless, Ma, useless! I couldn’t do a thing! I preached of bringing him back, but in the end, I turned out to be nothing but a pathetic loser who can’t even save his own friend! How am I ever gonna become Hokage?!”
“…”
“…Ma…?”
“…”
“…”
“Naruto, did you know I was part of ANBU?”
“W – wha -?”
“While my time there, I had many a companion, many a comrade. I remember them all to this day. There was one, though, one shinobi who stood out among all of us. When any of us would doubt ourselves, would try to blame ourself for a mission’s failure, he smacked us across the face. Be it girl or boy, he did not tolerate self-doubt and deprecation at any cost. He said that if we wished to be worthy shinobi, then pride mattered. If there was something that each and every human shares, it’s the sense of dignity and self-respect. No matter how big or how scarce, everyone has that. He taught me to never let my dignity be stripped of me. Because in the end, even when a man has nothing, he can always hold onto dignity. People who lose their sense of self and self-respect end up becoming like that Kabuto Yakushi. Don’t you ever, Naruto, ever think that you’re not worthy. You, my child, are the bravest, most kind-hearted shinobi I’ve met. It’s understandable that you’d feel weak after defeat at the hands of someone you call a rival, but I can assure you, you will bring Sasuke back. That’s something you can quote me on.”
She remembered how devastated and grief stricken he'd been when Jiraiya died, and how she had hugged him the tightest she'd ever hugged anyone. She remembered how he’d saved her, the Hokage, his friends and so many others when Pain had attacked. She remembered how he’d saved the village over and over. How he’d brought Sasuke back. How he’d rescued Hinata from the moon. How he’d come out victorious against Madara Uchiha, for God’s sake.
She remembered feeling struck when he’d smiled at her on his wedding day. Her boy had grown up, become tall, mature, become a man. But when he smiled at her, all she saw was the four-year-old whom she’d announced to that he was going to live with her.
It hadn’t been much of a surprise when that same blinding smile adorned his features when he had Boruto.
It was expected of him to smile at her that way when he had Himawari.
She felt so proud of him when he gave her the smile when he became Hokage.
Truly, her boy had grown up. He was the strongest shinobi to ever live, surpassing the God of Shinobi, his Master, his father.
Naruto Uzumaki. Her son.

(^◕ᴥ◕^) - 𝓒𝓪𝓽 𝓖𝓱𝓸𝓼𝓽 - (^◕ᴥ◕^)
This is inspired by the vocaloid song 或る化け猫の恋物語 (The lovestory of a cat ghost) by Nem.
Character: Kou Mukami
Type: x reader (neutral)
Tw: Violence, Death
(^˵◕ω◕˵^)👻(^˵◕ω◕˵^)👻(^˵◕ω◕˵^)👻(^˵◕ω◕˵^)👻
Your slow cries echoed throughout the cemetery, attracting the attention of a small black cat. He recognized you from around the village. Your husband became ill a few years ago, and you dedicated your life to raising funds for a doctor. Nonetheless, you always fed him a portion of your meal.
Something in him awoke as he stared at you longer and longer. Sadness was something he had never felt before. He didn't want you to cry, but rather to be happy. "I want her to be happy again." he whispered and with a slight light arising from his chest he turned into your husband, a handsome young man with blonde hair and light blue eyes. "Hey, neko-chan," he said as he approached you. When you heard his words, you turned around, stunned. You walked slowly towards him but collapsed before you could reach him, bursting into even more of a crying mess than before. "You are alive. Please, never leave me again." you cried out.
Kou kneeled down and hugged your fragile body that was shaking uncontrollably. "I wont." he whispered just so loud you could hear it. "I am so glad you´re back, Kou." you spoke out while watching inhis blue eyes. A thought creeped into Kous mind. Maybe this wasn´t a good idea?
≼❣→𝕹𝖞𝖆𝖓←❣≽
Kou slowly looked over to you making breakfast like every morning for a month now. He learned to love you more and more but not as a lover, as a friend. He wanted to protect you and make you the happiest person on earth. "Breakfast is ready, darling." you cheered as you walked towards him with miso soup in your hands. You still hadn´t had much money but still tried to make the best out of it. "I will go down town to sell some of the clothes I made. They are getting more and more popular you know? If only they were back when you were so terribly ill." you sighed and took a sip of your soup. The blonde haired boy looked at you in confusion. He always thought someone else made these clothes and you would just sell them. "That´s great! How about I come and help you?" , "Oh god no, darling. You still need some rest!" You instantly contered with a concerned look at your face.
It was fine by him, after all were dirty hands the worst of it all. But maybe he could have promoted it a bit since he didn´t look bad. He would call himelf beautiful even, way out of your league. When your real husband was still around he always wondered why you were together in the first place. He seemed pretty well liked by some of the more wealthier girls in town. It was a riddle to him. "Well I need to get going, until later." you smiled and said a quick goodbye when you left. Kou stood in the doorframe until he couldn´t see you and then closed the door to have some privacy. Now it was time to relax a bit and find out more about your relationship.
Well at least that´s what he wanted to do but the blonde was disturbed by a knock on the door. A little bit annoyed at his disturbed peace he turned around and opened the door only to find two men in front of it. "Is this the Mukami household?", they asked, a threatening aura around them. "Yes." was Kou´s short answer. The men smiled at each other. "We´re here to get the money back that your wife lend the Sakamaki family."
Sakamaki? He heard that name somewhere before. Weren´t that these arrogant Yokai that made themselves comfortable in the human world? His older brother was complaining about them a few times. But why would you owe them anything? This would only be possible if...no. You were smart enough to not take on debts from spiritually beings. That must´ve been a mistake.
"I am sorry but you must have got the wrong family.", he answered, and the men looked at each other again but this time with a hush of anger on their faces. "I doubt that, mister but if you won´t comply we have to take trastic meassures." the stronger one said and pulled out a sword. Kous mood was now ruined completely. If they wouldnt back up he had to make a move. "Hear, you scumbag I dont want you messing around with them. They are in enough stress as is and if you wont back away now I will kill you." his voice now seemed deeper and not as cheerful as before. He also let his tail and ears show. "and now piss off.", with that last sentence a whosh of magic stormed through them instantly putting them to the ground. But he still wasn´t done, he finally could let out the things he wasn´t able to do on anyone in your presence. "Lets have some fun, what do you say?"
≼❣→𝕹𝖞𝖆𝖓←❣≽
"I´m back honey!" you shouted into the house. Something seemed off but you just blamed it on your imagination. "Neko-chan you´re late. I was gonna go look for you." Kou walked towards you with his hand spread out to give you a hug. "Haha sorry I was talking to Subaru-kun. I lent some money from them some time ago and he was checking up on me." you smiled at them and Kous hunch that these guys were thiefs that caught on, on your debt confirmed itself. Still he was somehow mad that you had such a good relation with one of the Sakamaki. "Oh thats nice!" he relied to you adn took your hand. "You know I made a surprise for you.", "Really?" you asked exited. It was sometime that you got anything and Kou knew that.
He took your hand and led you towards the kitchen. On the table was whole meal he decided to make for you after beating up these robbers. Your eyes shone in exitement as you sat down on the table. kou walked towards the kitchen counter to get the last ingredient that had to be kept warm to taste good. "You know Kou." you began stopping said male in his tracks. The moon already shone through the window and his eyes lit up in the two colors they really were. "Everytime I looked into your eyes I remembered that his looked different than yours but I dont care." you finished your sentence and it hit Kou like a rock.
He began to shiver uncontrollably and tears formed in his eyes. So you knew? Before he could think twice his legs already gave in ans you run over to him. Tears streamed down his eyes like a never ending waterfall. He felt your embrace but it was already to late. Only seconds went by before he was his true self again. A little blonde cat with a blue and red eye. He never wanted you to see him like this. He never wanted you to find out. Ashamed, sad and angry of himelfs he ran towards the one open window but not before you couls speak your last words to him.
"I thank you so much dear Cat."
To this day there is a legend of a blonde cat going up to an old cemetary to watch over the person he once saved.

Hogwarts AU (Haikyuu!!)
Tumblr media
feat. Miya Osamu
For the darling @1tooru
Send me an ask with characters you’d like to see me write, whether in the Hogwarts setting or whatever you’d like to suggest, and I’ll try my best to make it work!
Masterlist link here
Warnings: Tooth-rotting fluff
A/N: Assumed that the food served is Japanese, not gonna give the Haikyuu boys bad British food (no hate pls!! been traumatised by a recent trip to the UK :p )
Miya Osamu (Slytherin)
All you knew about him was that he was one half of the famous Miya twins, and with Miya Atsumu strutting down the hallways with a cocky grin, no one would fault you for assuming his twin would be much the same.
Not to mention the fact that Osamu is a fearsome chaser in his own right, causing such havoc during the match with Ravenclaw that Kuroo, the keeper, nearly tore his hair out mid-match.
You’ve developed a habit of sneaking away to the kitchens, spending evenings with the house-elves, trying to re-create the tastes from home.
The Japanese food served day in, day out is good - you do enjoy the taste of dashi and miso and soy and pickles.
But sometimes, just sometimes, you miss the heavier spices like tumeric and five spices, tropical flavours like coconut milk and jackfruit and pandan.
So you sneak into the kitchens and persuade the house-elves to let you experiment with their more exotic ingredients.
And imagine your surprise when you discover that your sanctuary of food is invaded by one Miya Osamu.
‘O-oh! I didn’t know the house-elves let anyone else in here’, you stammer, face red, expecting the stereotypical Slytherin response of a sneer to grace his face.
But to your surprise his face remains expressionless, only shrugging his shoulders with grace. ‘Kitchen’s enough for us two, I suppose’, and he turns back to the rice balls he’s moulding in his hands.
Three encounters later, you realise he’s not surly - just somewhat reticent and a little shy. You figure it comes with the territory of having a loud-mouthed twin.
He offers you the onigiris he creates, cracks a smile when you moan over a mouthful of poached egg and soy-flavoured rice, his rendition of the humble tamago kake gohan, the Japanese staple of a raw egg over steaming white rice. His eyes widen in turn when you teach him the wonders of pandan flavoured custard and mango with sticky rice.
‘You don’t seem like a typical Slytherin’, you gather the courage to make the bold statement one night, when the pair of you are sitting shoulder to shoulder in front of the kitchen fire, sharing a tuna mayo onigiri.
‘Cos I’m not as ambitious as my lout of a twin?’ he asks, amused.
You shake your head, trying to deny his statement, but the corners of his eyes only crinkle further.
‘The Sortin’ Hat gave me a choice between Slytherin and Hufflepuff’, he says. ‘’Tsumu got sorted before me, and I guess I didn’t wanna leave ‘im alone. Who knows what he’d do if I’m not there to stop his shit’.
‘So you’re in Slytherin for the greater good?’ you joke.
He snorts, trying his best not to choke on a mouthful of rice. ‘I guess ya could say that, I suppose’.
------------------------------------------------------------
You don’t tell anyone else about your evening sojourns in the kitchens with Miya Osamu.
After all, he and Atsumu have a legion of crazed fans, and even though most seem to be gunning for the blonde twin, it’s enough to put you off acknowledging him beyond a shy nod between classes or two.
Still, someone must have seen you leave the kitchens together, because nasty notes start appearing in your bag, and whispered curses are shot your way, causing your shoelaces to twine together in twisted knots, and your bag to split open when you’re rushing to class.
You keep your head down, figuring that it’ll only get worse if you fight back.
‘Why do ya have bruises on yer legs’, he frowns, distracted from his latest culinary experiment.
‘It’s nothing’, you demur, trying to tug your skirt down to hide your legs but he catches your wrist in one warm, large hand.
‘Who did this to ya?’, he asks, eyes thunderous when he sees the tapestry of mottled bruises on your knees and calves.
You try to lie, tell him it’s no one, you’re just clumsy and tripped over your own feet, but he’s relentless and his mouth settles into a taut line when you finally admit that a couple of his fangirls may have gone a little too far in trying to warn you off him.
‘They don’t get that we’re just friends’, you say quietly, refusing to meet his gaze, a smart move considering the way your heartbeat stutters in your chest.
‘I’ll deal with it’, he promises, and he does, because the next day, the same few girls come to breakfast with red rimmed eyes and apology notes find their way into your bag instead.
------------------------------------------------------------
Since then, you have to admit that you’ve fallen head over heels for Miya Osamu.
It’s the most cliched thing in the world to pine after a boy who doesn’t look at you the same way, but you can’t help it.
He’s gorgeous, with broad shoulders and a slim waist, brown eyes that glimmer occasionally with such kindness that you forget he wears green and silver.
It’s so easy to pretend that his protectiveness is a symptom of potential romantic feelings for you - but he continues to treat you as he always has, a partner in his culinary adventures, and nothing much else.
So you trudge along, hiding your feelings until his birthday.
You charm a paper plane to land in his plate during breakfast that day. He unfolds it, the corner of his lip quirking upwards when he reads your message - ‘Meet me at the kitchens tonight? Got a little special surprise for you!’
He grins - a rare sight, when you and the house-elves burst into song when he climbs through the portrait hole, and laughs out loud when you present him with the chocolate you made with the help of the house-elves.
‘It’s not perfect, I know’, you tell him apologetically, staring balefully at the too-runny chocolate frosting, and the slanted icing that spells his name.
‘It looks perfect to me’, he answers, cutting a huge slab for the both of you to share.
You flush when he insists on feeding you the last bite of cake, your heart pounding when his palm is warm on the small of your back when he walks you back to your tower.
‘Thanks for the birthday present’, he says when you reach your destination. ‘But forgive me for bein’ greedy and stealin’ one more present from you’.
Then he gently tilts your face up to meet his, and bends down, slanting his mouth over yours and - oh.
He tastes of dark chocolate and frosted cake, and his arms circling you still bear the warmth of the fireplace you’ve shared over countless frosty nights. It’s a dream come true, and you’re still breathless when he pulls away.
‘Was that too much?’ he asks quietly, a note of anxiety in his voice.
‘Not at all’, you whisper back, the thrumming of your heart betraying that you’d very much like to do it again.
And when you’re back in your bed tonight, lips swollen from Osamu kissing you senseless in the corridor that night, you’re not sure whose birthday it is - his or yours, the way all your wishes have come true.

hi! i read some of your writing pieces, and they're amazing! 🧡 if you don't mind, could i request some headcanons of iida, yaoyorozu, jirou and sero with a gn! crush or s/o who tends to puff out their cheeks? they usually do it whenever they're concentrating on doing something (like taking a test, cooking a meal, etc.) or when someone teases them a bit too much and they get slightly upset (they're pretty much like ">:T *hmph!") i thought this would be cute, hehe. thank you so much! <3
How the Characters React to You Puffing Out Your Cheeks
Paring: Tenya Iida, Momo Yaoyorozu, Kyoka Jirou x !gn reader
Summary: This is how Tenya, Momo, Kyoka, all react to you puffing out your cheeks when focusing on something and how they get a little upset about how you get teased for it.
Notes: This is so cute! Also, I hope you like the new format, I thought it was much more organized! You have to let me know how you like it :)
Genre: Fluff 💖
Tenya Iida-
Tumblr media
Tenya loved when you puffed out your cheeks like that, he never questioned why you did it but he doesn't care on why. He just thought it was adorable!
You were taking a test in class, this was more of a major grade so you definitely needed to ace this. You had wonderful grades, but you still loved to do well in your classes good grades or not. Tenya sat behind you, glancing up at you every now and then. He could hear the tiny "hmph!" and he smiled. He could imagine your face right now, with your cheeks puffed out and you're so concentrated that you don't know what's going on around you. Mineta sat next to you, you poor poor child, and he saw what you were doing. You heard him snickering but ignored it since you didn't really care, I mean come on, it's Mineta who would care? Tenya frowned slightly, after class he let you go ahead and he waited till Mineta was about to leave. "Minoru, you know it's not nice to make fun of others like that." He says with slight anger in his voice. Mineta laughs and rolls his eyes, "are you talking about (y/n)? Come on, it was funny to watch." Iida immediately frowned, "it's not funny. Actually, I find it quite adorable and of course, you wouldn't see it because let's face it, you'll never find someone as great as them. Or anyone at all, at this point." He says firmly, Mineta's eyes are wide and others stare in shock.
You heard everything, smiling, you thought about how much he really loved you. You sat by the corner, waiting for Tenya to show up. Whenever he did, his face was slightly red and he had one of his hands balled up into a fist. "Babe?" You ask, he quickly jumps back. You start laughing, "I didn't see you there (y/n)!" You hug him without saying another word, he smiled and hugged you back. "Thank you Tenya." He smiles into your hair, "no problem my dear."
Momo Yaoyorozu-
Tumblr media
You and Momo were in the cafeteria, you guys agreed to help cook for all of the students. Well, that and so you could get some leftovers because whenever you two cooked, it tasted amazing! You were working on cooking the Miso Soup while Momo got started on the curry rice.
You had your cheeks puffed out, making sure you cook the tofu to absolute perfection. Momo smiled, she loved when you did that. She always loved to see the determination in your eyes whenever you were focusing. You were the type to either go big or go home so this definitely made you want to get it perfect. "Babe please pass me the salt." You say, your eyes not leaving the pot. She laughs, "what are you needing salt for?" She asks while handing it to you, "I'm going to make sure this is the best Miso Soup you've had!" You exclaim and get back to stirring. Momo laughs and that's when she hears Katsuki say something. She turns around to him, with an eyebrow raised. "Hey dumbass, make sure your cheeks don't pop or explode because, from the looks of it, it seems like it!" He says you weren't paying that much attention. You got used to it over the years, but Momo, oh boy, she was ready to kill that boy on the spot! "What did you say?" She asked, putting the spoon down and fully turning to face him. "You heard what I said dumbass." She frowned, "I don't think that your attitude is called for. They are adorable when focusing like that, so if you have a problem come to me about it but if not then don't say a word." She says, slowly getting close to him, with a hint of anger in her voice.
Katsuki's eyes went kind of wide, shocked, but not that surprised. He knew how protective she was over you. "Now if you excuse me, I'm going to get back to cooking so get out of the kitchen." She says, pointing to the door, he just nodded and walked out silently. You smile and look at her, "thanks babe." She kisses your forehead, "don't worry about it dear." She pauses for a second and looks at you, "is something burning?" Your eyes go wide and turns around to see your tofu burnt to a crisp, "MY MISO SOUP!"
Kyoka Jirou-
Tumblr media
You and Jirou were sitting in the library, listening to music. She had one earbud while you had the other. It was a new song that came out, you couldn't remember the name but all you know is that it's a jam. You guys were studying for an upcoming exam, and it was a major part of your grade.
"Okay babe, now you remember," she pauses. She looks up and sees you puffing out your cheeks, she smiles and goes silent, not wanting to interrupt your thought process. She goes back to writing something down on her paper, that's when she hears what sounds like laughing. She takes out her earbud and stays silent to see if she hears it again. And she does, she turns around and sees that it was some random group of kids laughing. Since you guys were at a public library, she couldn't pinpoint who it was exactly. She stands up, seeing that you were still focused, and goes over to them. "Hey is something funny?" She asks, leaning on the table next to them. One of the boys looks up at her and laughs, "Yeah, look at that kid! Who even does that, they look like a chipmunk!" She frowns, "hm." The kid still laughs and points to you. She grabs his hand quickly, "don't point at them, you'll distract them." She says quietly but looking him dead in the eyes. He has slight fear in his eyes, "now you listen okay?" He nods, taking a step back. "They're everything to me, my world. And right now they're studying so they can be the best pro hero they can be. Now you will go and walk away before it gets worse." She says, letting go of his hand.
You took out your earbud, noticing that Jirou was gone. You turned around in your chair to see her staring there with a death glare and a group of boys speed walking the hell out of there. You looked at her confused, and she just shrugs. "I'm not sure, I guess they don't like rock music." She says, sitting back down next to you. You laugh and roll your eyes, not saying that you knew the real reason. Whenever she took her earbud out, you heard her get up and heard her say that you were her world. You smiled at the thought and seen she was back to studying. You sigh and lean on her, "I love you Jirou." She smiles, "I love you too (y/n)."
This was so cute! I love protective Iida!
I hope you have a great day!

That's it. Tobio wasn't having anymore of this. This was the second time during his vacation that his dad had cancelled their plans for a trip to the beach. So he doesn't regret anything that he said to his parents a few minutes ago. Also after all this he just can't stay there and so he proceeds to head to where he thinks there are people, two to be precise, who would actually understand a teenager's side of the story.
The next couple of moments sees Tobio packing his duffel bag between repeated requests from his mom & finally boarding a train to Tokyo.
To be honest Akaashi is actually a bit surprised to find Tobio arriving without prior notice but it doesn't take him much time to put two & two together when after asking Tobio does nothing but give him vague answers. Afterall he is a parent to a teenager. That's why without prying further he welcomes Tobio with a warm hug & a smile. This is why Tobio loves this place.
That night when all of them are at the dinner table, and Tobio sees Semi in between his parents, sharing jokes & laughter's, he can't help but feel a little jealous of his favourite cousin. Though he's not quite sure why he feels that way. He gets to sleep in his room that his uncles have specially kept for their favourite nephew. It holds all of the posters of Tobio's favourite volleyball teams, has minimal things, has a light grey hue and a volleyball seated at one of the shelves at the corner but he doesn't feel warmth the way he should have when he snuggles under the blankets. He just stares at the ceiling for a long time before he drifts off to sleep. But it seems he must have just slept for an hour or so when a nightmare jerks him awake and he sits up, profusely sweating. When he realises that he's not in his childhood room all he wants is to dash out of there and snuggle between his parents, feeling at ease and protected from the outside world with his mama calming him down by hugging him close & make space for him in their bed and his papa patting his head & whispering sweet nothings (maybe even a lullaby) till he falls asleep.
But Tobio is in Tokyo now. The people sleeping upstairs are not Iwaizumi Hajime & Oikawa Tooru. For the first time since his arrival at his safe haven Tobio misses home (the flashbacks of the last fight come rushing back).
Tobio decides not to speak of this event to anyone ever, not even uncle Bokuto as he makes his way downstairs to the breakfast table the next morning. When he enters the dining room, he wishes it was a pair of chocolate brown eyes & a pair of green eyes that welcome him instead of the golden & gunmetal blue ones that do now. Tobio wishes them good morning, tells them he had a good sleep & says his prayers before he starts his breakfast. As polite as ever- just like his mama taught him. But the miso soup doesn't taste the same. It does not contain that special garlic & chilli paste that his mama makes, the wafting odour that spreads throughout the house whenever that is made. Then he realises that Semi is not too good at handling spicy food.
As the day progresses it becomes increasingly clear to Tobio that home is that three-storeyed house back in Miyagi of which the third floor has a big enough terrace from where the sunrise & sunset has a marvellous view, whose second floor is Tobio's territory- all rooms arranged according to his tastes, and the ground floor always merry & bustling with some kind of sound- either of the news or volleyball matches playing on TV or his mama talking to his colleagues or his papa analysing his plays or planning out new training regimes or both his parents bickering about whether aliens are real or not, Tobio all the while sitting at his desk in the bedroom which lights up in a warm & comfortable hue with the last few rays of the setting sun, basking in its warmth doing his homework & a constant ear for his dinner call.
So finally after lunch he gathers enough courage to talk to uncle Akaashi that he needs to return home as he needs to attend to his unfinished assignments (and not because he misses his parents)before school reopens, his voice quivering as he tries to suppress the tears, Akaashi just smiles and dials his brother's number and has a long talk with him before announcing to Tobio that they are coming to fetch him.
Unable to control himself any longer Tobio weeps into Akaashi's arms and tells him between sobs how he's sorry and that he never meant the things he said to them that evening and that they are the best parents anyone could ask for. Akaashi just smiles down at his nephew & smoothes his hair thereby calming him down.
When they leave Tokyo that night after a family dinner that takes place after a long time, Iwaizumi turns around in the car just to see their son passed out on the back seat sleeping like there is no tomorrow. Both Hajime & Tooru share a look and a smile that conveys each others' version of how Tobio has had too much to deal with and that he's in his rebellious phase right now, so they have to be well prepared for such future endeavours. But still Tobio is the best son they could ask for, ever, no matter what anyone says. He's forever going to be their little king, the ruler of their minds, hearts & spirits.
Long after they have left, Bokuto asks Akaashi if he's not upset that Tobio did not stay for longer because Bokuto is as he had planned for a movie marathon with both his sons, Semi & Tobio (they never differentiate between them) the coming weekend.
Akaashi just smiles and tells him that this is what exactly he had expected because however far & wide Tobio may veture, his roots are Miyagi and his world is his parents. Akaashi has never seen a more filial son in his life.
Deep down Tobio is still a "mama's boy" as many would like to call it.

[02:10]
You tossed and turned on your bed, your mind still wandering to the argument you had with your boyfriend in the living room.
"It's like you don't even care about me, I already specifically told you what i wanted Jisung, in CAPITAL letters even!" you exclaimed, showing the text that you sent him from your phone.
Sungie (´∀`)♡ : What do you want for dinner baby? I'll just grab a take-out on my way back.
You : Can you pack the miso ramen from my favourite restaurant pleasee :((
Sungie (´∀`)♡ : Alright, anything else?
You : Nope, that's all!!
*seen*
You : Wait, I changed my mind, I just want the salmon sushi rolls.
You : Jisung, are you reading this?
You : Get me SALMON SUSHI ROLLS pleaseeee
"I was on the phone with Chan when you sent me the last message, I only read it after I left the restaurant!" Jisung defended himself, his arms flailing around as he tried to explain and apologise for mistaking your order. You both have been going around this argument for 10 minutes and honestly, Jisung was already tired of it since he had practically came back from a long day at the studio. All he wanted to do right now is to have you in his arms and eat dinner together, while catching up to your favourite Netflix series.
Not fighting over a small matter like this.
Okay, you have to admit you were being petty. In normal days, you wouldn't have mind about it and by now, you would've just let it go knowing and understanding how busy your boyfriend was. But now, since you were a few days into your period, you couldn't help but get mad and annoyed at every little thing.
Crossing your arms, you glared at Jisung, his face flushed from the heating argument and eyes wide as it filled with guilt (and confusion). It was the first time he's seen you like this and he didn't know what to do, mind already exhausted from all the composing he's done at the studio.
"I'm not hungry anymore, I just want to go to sleep. Goodnight, Jisung," you huffed out and turned around, away from his direction. You suddenly started to pity him and softened at how his lips were jutting out, probably thinking of the right words to say, scared of making anymore mistakes. You almost wanted to step forward and kiss his pout away, but your ego was getting the best of you so you quickly headed back to your room.
And here you were now, alone on your bed. You glanced at the clock nearby, noticing how it was already 2am and Jisung hasn't even entered the room. 'Where would he be? Has he eaten yet? Has he fallen asleep already? Is he mad at me?' you thought as you wrapped yourself further into the comforter.
You had expected him to come and check on you, to have you in his embrace as he consoled you and pepper your face with his soft kisses. Both of you aren't the type to be mad at each other for so long, but as 3 hours has passed, you're slowly starting to overthink and get worried about your relationship. 'Did i messed up?' you sighed and closed your eyes, trying to sleep the thought off.
But you couldn't as your thoughts drifted off to something else. Your eyes opened and scanned your pitch black room, your heart beating fast as you started to imagine scenes that you've seen before in the horror movies Jisung made you watch. The fact that you were alone and without him accompanying you in the room made you feel scared and even harder for you to fall asleep.
A distant crashing noise made you jumped out from your bed and through the door. You didn't even bother to check where it came from, it could've been just a branch falling from a tree, but you were being too caught up in the moment with the spooky thoughts haunting in your mind as you shakily walked to the couch, where Jisung was sleeping soundly.
Your heart dropped at the sight- his tall figure was crouched up trying its best to fit the small length of the sofa, with his head resting on one of the small pillows and only a thin piece of hoodie keeping his body warm. You quietly sat down infront of him, admiring his features, his blond hair peeking out from the hood of his hoodie as he softly snored, his face looking so innocent under the dim moonlight, but couldn't hide the tiredness showing under his eyes.
Waves of emotions hit you as you started to tear up, looking at the boy you dearly loved, the feelings mixed with the loneliness and sadness you felt back then. You sniffled, rubbing the tears away from your eyes.
In the quiet night, your whimpers woke Jisung up from his sleep, his eyes wide at the sight of you on the floor. "Baby?" he croaked out, his heart breaking as he realised you were crying, looking small and fragile in the thick comforter wrapped around you.
You froze as you slowly looked up at him, lips quivering as your tears threatened to fall again. Before they even had the chance to do so, Jisung quickly scooped you into his arms, not bearing to see the sight of you tearing up again. Nuzzling your face in his broad chest, you softly cried and balled up his hoodie in your fists, missing his body being against yours. He gently ran his hands through your hair and your back, rocking you back and forth as he calmed you down.
"Couldn't sleep?" he asked, backing away from you to look at your face, his voice still raspy due to the fact that he just woke up. He melted at the way you cutely nodded, and caressed your round and smooth cheeks, wiping the wet tears away.
"You weren't there to hold me," you pouted, your small voice making Jisung creep out a smile at how adorable you were when you get scared and needed him to protect you from whatever it is you were afraid of. He carefully picked you up from his lap and laid you beside him on the couch, trying his best to fit both of you in the small space, which actually worked out considering your petite figure and how it moulded perfectly with his body.
Settling the comforter on top of both you, he pulled you in closer and kissed your forehead, as you snuggled into him and his scent. Both of you slowly drifted to sleep until you spoke out, "Sungie?"
"Yes?" he replied.
"I'm sorry for what happened earlier, I shouldn't have reacted like that," you said, feeling guilty at how he was the victim of your moodswings.
Jisung looked down at you and tucked your hair behind your ear. "It's okay angel, I was at fault too for not checking your messages earlier. But next time, we'll try and settle our arguments in a better way okay?" he assured you while slowly stroking your hair.
At that moment, you were so thankful to have him as your boyfriend and admired how calm he was in settling your small dispute. Leaning into his embrace, you quietly muttered, "But i still want my salmon sushi rolls."
That earned a chuckle from Jisung, that made you giggle as well since his laugh was contagious and sounded melodic to your ears. "I'll buy you all the sushi rolls in the world tomorrow for you my princess," he responded.
You smiled and whispered, "Goodnight Sungie."
"Goodnight baby," he said back.
You peeked one of your eyes open and saw him slowly falling asleep. Craning your head up, you pressed a small kiss on his mouth but before you had the chance to pull back, Jisung held you closer and connected both of your lips again as you melted in the kiss.
Short 'I love you's' were continuously exchanged in between the sweet kisses, and at that moment, both of you were content because in the end of the night, you were in each other's arms, and that's all that matters.

Imagine Pacho Sends You as a Gift to (Spy on) Amado 1/3
I don’t know how long this is gonna take but I’ve had the idea for a while. I’m Asian so it’s easier to insert myself into this weird setting. Hope it works for everyone out there thirsting for more Chema content ;) Read more Imagine Amado here.
Note: The first time Pacho makes appearance on the show, he’s treating guests a plate of sushi.
Tumblr media
You're a chef specialized in Japanese cuisines, which are Pacho's favorite. You do catering when Pacho has important guests over at his mansion in Cali, preparing fresh delicacies like sashimi and sushi.
That's how you met the Mexican man in black. You didn't know who he was at first. People in your line of work tend to keep their mouth shut. Till the man becomes a frequent guest. You see how Pacho's fond of him as a business partner and a good friend, always treating him the best stuff when the Mexican is in town, as frequent as monthly.
But you never talked to him — Amado Carrillo Fuentes. You know enough about the name to avoid socializing with the biggest drug trafficker in Mexico in any form.
Pacho is throwing a New Year party, of course Amado is invited. For the special occasion, you're asked to perform the whole process of cutting fresh sashimi in front of guests.
"You have to try this. The best bluefin tuna of the year, it's the fattest in the winter since the slimy bastards bulk up to deal with the cold Pacific torrent. I had it shipped from Japan via airplane, live. You should get into the business, you're the Lord of the Skies. Shit costs me thousands of dollars." Pacho is very enthusiastic about the fish.
Well, you can tell from the guarded smile that Amado is not a big fan of raw fish. You feel challenged, as if you need to prove yourselves to him.
"I'm more impressed you let people wave machetes at your dinner table," Amado snorts, "Your bodyguards are okay with it?"
"Ryoko chan is fine." Pacho winks at you, in fact he knows you better than anyone. You're not just a hired chef.
You don't say a single word, just slightly nodding to Pacho.
The big knives are presented because you're handling a giant tuna (Pacho only wants the biggest ones!) You definitely put on a fucking show, piercing, cutting, slicing, finally arranging a delicate full plate like some fine art, with red tuna, white radish and pickled ginger.
Pacho and other guests give you a round of applause for your craftsmanship, while Amado just gives you a wavering smile.
When you bow to the guests before leaving, a reckless waiter serving sake next to you takes a step back. He inevitably bumps into you and the white headscarf you wear falls, exposing your black long hair.
It's the first time Amado really pays attention to you that night.
"Fucking hell, Pachito, I thought it's one of your boys. Look at her..." The dickhead is doing vulgar gestures, obviously making fun of your flat-chested body.
"Ryoko's the best in town. No man matches her skill set." The Colombian defends you (Pacho being nice and soooooo protective, ahhhhh!)
"Really?" Amado raised his eyebrows. He looks aggressively handsome, dark piercing eyes make you feel naked even though you're in the full white chef uniform.
You retreat to the kitchen, heart still beating fast due to the anger and humiliation. What you don't know is Pacho sees something different in Mexican's eyes and a radical plan is emerging when you're absent from the dining table.
"You want me to make amends to the fucker? Why?"  You can't believe what Pacho's talking about. "You left our guest without smiling. Your smile is beautiful, come on, Ryoko. Can you do that for me?" Yes, you will do anything for Pacho Herrera.
And this time you have to put on a fucking kimono robe. Because Pacho picks it from his own wardrobe. "Kill me now." You sigh. Pacho is going all "It looks great on you. His jaw is gonna drop, don't you wanna see that?"
You don't give a flying fuck what Pacho makes you wear. You're a chef, if someone's not interested in raw food such as sashimi, you need to change your game.
Later you surprise Amado with a totally different set of dishes, a small bowl of scallop miso soup with tofu and chicken yakitori. Hot food at midnight always smells extra tempting.
"You open the door without checking if I carry a machete first." You stand in front of Amado's private suite, giving the Mexican in his shirt and boxer briefs a little smirk.
"I'd be willingly stabbed by that bamboo skewer if you let me eat the grilled chicken first. I'm starving," Amado leans in, closer to the tray and your hair, "God, smell so good." The fucker knows how to flirt back for sure.
Amado obviously prefers the hot meal, "Thank God you bring a spoon. Chopsticks are for devils." He finished everything in record time, and as a chef, you have to admit it's kind of satisfying to see people (even he's a jerk) enjoy the food you make.
You don't talk much. As soon as Amado's done, you're about to collect everything and leave. He stops you, "You're not staying?" Big hand is tangled with the hem of your kimono robe. He's dangerously close, it feels like the thin fabric is gonna catch fire from the body warmth from you both.
"It's not like I have a cleavage to show you." You tease him.
Amado actually apologizes, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you." He gently flicks your hair back over your shoulders, eyeing your bare chest beneath the loose robe.
You're hesitant. Pacho did ask you to please the Mexican, but you have to stick to the plan, no early moves.
You decide to call it a night. Amado doesn't stop you this time.
Before you exit his suite, "Pacho wants sushi tomorrow," you turn around and smile, making sure the angel reveals more of your chest, "But I'll make a separate dish for you."
That night you pray the Mexican's hooked.
The next day when everyone is having a cold plate of sushi, Amado gets a plate of tempura you prepare just for him.
"Thank you, dear. I won't last a week without you," Pacho makes some drastic remark as he enjoys the sushi you present and continues, "You know, one time I went to Guadalajara, they don't even have a decent Japanese restaurant. The only one Navegante found serves shitty noodles which remotely look like ramen. Your stubborn Mexicans really need a break from beans, steak and quesadilla."
"Then can I borrow Chef Ryoko for a week? A short trip to Mexico, maybe Chef will find some new opportunity there." Amado suddenly proposes.
Following Pacho's instruction from earlier, you act surprised.
Next thing you know, you're boarding a private jet with arguably the most powerful Mexican, both on earth and in the sky.
Your mission is to spy on Amado Carrillo Fuentes for a week. "Why? He's very business-oriented, low maintenance, no bullshit. But you never know if you can trust Mexicans. I need to know everything about Amado, every detail matters." Pacho's words echo with the plane engine before the takeoff. And he kisses you goodbye.
Amado's waiting for you at the bridge, smiling through his aviator sunglasses. You have no idea what you sign up for.

[AO3] [WATTPAD] [QUOTEV]
NOTE: Happy birthday to me! Though this might be posted right AT midnight my time, so technically after my birthday. Also, there won't really be much smut this chapter; just coupley fluff and a hint of steaminess.
                                                        CHAPTER SIX
"Well, you two sure are snug as bugs in a rug."
Chie scowled over at Yosuke as they sat around on the school roof, ploughing their way through plastic bowls of instant miso ramen. "I don't have any idea what you're talking about."
"I'm talking about this." He leaned way forward, headphones slipping around on his neck as he poked his chopsticks between her and Yukiko's arms. And touched both of them. "You've been glued at the hip all day!"
"We have not." Cheeks having taken on the vaguest of rosy tints, Yukiko pretended to find her ramen much more interesting as she daintily drew the noodles into her mouth. She did slurp, but it was somehow a polite slurp; Chie never knew how she did it, while she was over there making enough noise to tell the whole school what she was eating for lunch.
"I mean, do you think I'm dumb? Let me rephrase," he cut Chie off when she held up a finger to respond, taking a deep breath as well. "I'm not dumb. I can see that something's different. Like, all day has been a chick clique, with me and Narukami all benched over here."
"I haven't felt 'benched'," Yu put in very mildly, though he had also been glancing at the two girls just as curiously.
Finally, Yukiko broke her silence, though she was still staring down into her lunch. "I think you're making a lot out of nothing, Hanamura-san. There's nothing wrong with two friends spending time together, especially after going through something so harrowing."
"'Hanamura-san'? Geez, it's like that, huh?" Yosuke sighed, scratching the back of his neck.
"Listen to Yuki-chan," Chie snapped. "Like, it's none of your business, anyway. But yeah, we're just hanging out! You think it's weird? For two girls to be friends?"
"No! But I don't think that's the only thing going on here." Squinting slightly, he pointed at Chie with his chopsticks again. "I think there's a lot more than just 'gals being pals', y'know? Like, Class S-"
"God, here we go," she groaned with a huge roll of her eyes as she set her bowl aside. "You and your 'everything is dirty' brain, you pervert." She stood up and cracked her neck, then started rolling her arm around to loosen her shoulder. Immediately, he was throwing up both hands to ward her off.
"Wait, wait! Hey, I don't think there's any call for violence, exactly! C'mon, what's the big deal in me pointing out what it looks like?!"
"The 'big deal' is that you're trying to make something normal into some gross fantasy in your brain!"
"Hey, can you blame me? After what we saw in the TV… I mean, your shadows were really into it…"
Instantly, he was being kicked down to sprawl out on his back by a very irate Chie. Limbs flailing everywhere, he tried to fend off the brown loafer that continued to descend upon his face and chest repeatedly for the next few seconds. "AH! CHIE! FOR CHRISSAKE, CUT IT OUT WILLYA?!"
"MAYBE QUIT BEING A GROSS PIG AND I WILL!"
While he was still trying to protect his face, Yu commented calmly, "The gross pig has a point. If shadows are part of who you are, it's not such a strange question to ask."
"Et tu, Yu?" Yukiko sighed, frowning down at her bowl. "Isn't it bad enough we had to be there while you two saw the other us… doing such things?"
"You say that like it wasn't the best show of my life!" Yosuke chuckled — earning him a fresh strike to the mouth with a rubber sole. "RGH! Okay, get off, I'm kinda done!"
Finally reclaiming her spot next to Yukiko, Chie grumbled, "Me too. Like, stop being so disgusting."
"Oh yeah?" He sighed and shook his head. "What a waste lesbians are."
While Yukiko's head began to sink lower, Chie's face burst a few capillaries as she snapped, "WHAT?! Okay — listen, you jackass! Y-you don't even know what you're- and what do you mean, a 'waste'?!"
"Like, that's two less girls for the rest of us," he continued to protest as he stirred his noodles. "Hard enough for some guys to get dates without some chicks pairing off with each other."
Chie took a deep breath to reply… but to her surprise, it was Yu who said, "I think that's ignorant. They should be able to date whoever they want."
"What?" Eyebrows sky high, he snapped, "Yu, bro… how can you stab me in the back like this?"
"Stop being dramatic. And I'm sure there will still be plenty of girls to ask out. Don't you have someone you're interested in? Anyone at all?"
"Risette," he sighed wistfully. When the other three were blinking at him in surprise for a few seconds, he cleared his throat. "I-I mean, that Ebihara is hot. But I dunno, I don't have any game."
"You really don't," Chie confirmed.
"Whoa, shots fired…"
"What do you expect, man? You treat girls like Pocky flavours, just trying to pick which one suits your mood today. Seriously, do you even care about how they feel? Whether or not their personalities match yours? You just seem to care if they have big boobs and nice hair."
Taken aback, he finally set his ramen aside. "What the hell, Satonaka? I thought we were friends, and you're like, totally ripping me a new one here! What did I ever do to you?"
"For starters, you told me and Yukiko that we're 'too close' and a 'waste of space'."
"Hey, I never said 'waste of space'. Just like, a waste of two really gorgeous, available women."
"Lies! You have never thought I was gorgeous."
"Oh. Good point." This time, she actually took her loafer off and threw it at his head. "WHOA! Hey, hey — I wanna live, I WANNA LIVE!"
                                                        ~ o ~
Despite trying her best to focus on positive thoughts, Chie's blood was still boiling well after school let out for the day. She kicked a can down the quaint, lazy street toward the rest of Inaba, still grumbling about how chauvinistic he was and that they were better off not dealing with someone who didn't even see them as fellow humans.
"He isn't that bad," Yukiko snickered. "He could use some work, but… you know he doesn't really believe those things."
"Yeah? Well I think he's worse than we think!"
"How can he be worse than you think if you already think he's worse?"
"That's… well…" Pouting, she watched her footsteps for a while as they paced through the homey little downtown district. "Y-you know what I meant. Like, I know he's a boy, but so is Yu and at least he's halfway decent. There's no excuse!"
"Maybe not." They were quiet for a moment. "Um, do you want to stop by Souzai Daigaku? Grab a couple of croquettes?"
Chie knew what she was doing. Obviously this was a ploy to distract her from her ranting about their friend's misogynistic tendencies. And… it worked, but only because she knew Yukiko didn't like gossiping all that much and wanted to spare her. "For sure. I crave meat — oh, and a lemon soda."
"Okay," Yukiko chuckled as she slid her arm through Chie's. The action seemed to bring both of them to a sudden halt, and she blinked. "Oh. That's strange, I… I didn't mean to do that. But it felt very…"
"Natural," Chie supplied. After only a tiny hesitation, she raised a hand to rest on Yukiko's wrist, keeping her there. "It's cool. I don't think anybody's gonna pay attention… we probably won't, uh… be noticed…"
Nodding her agreement, they continued to walk arm in arm. Despite her confident words, Chie's heart was racing. Somebody was going to call them yuri — make some kind of gay joke, or even just a simple catcall would be a fate worse than death. But maybe they wouldn't be seen at all.
They were.
"Ohhh, so pretty!"
The two looked around for a moment, trying to find the source of the compliment and figure out why it was even made. But nobody was closeby. Had they imagined it?
"Oh!" Yukiko breathed when she finally looked down.
A small elementary school girl was standing in front of them, wide smile and brown pigtails radiating pure innocence. Her little pink dress was on over a white turtleneck. Chie found herself wanting to pick her up and put her on a shelf, she was so adorable.
"Awww, hello there!" she gushed with an equal grin.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" The girl gave a little bow. "Are you two on a date? I didn't mean to stop you!"
"Wh-WHAT?!"
But Yukiko led with, "N-no, it's okay. But what did you think was pretty?"
"You! I mean, I've never seen a girl as pretty as you, ever — 'cept maybe Risette! But she's a star. Nobody as pretty as Risette would be in Inaba."
While she was still trying to recover her voice, Chie squatted down to ask, "Hey, what's your name?"
"Huh? Oh, I'm Nanako." Then she seemed to remember her manners and bowed. "N-nice to meet you."
"Likewise," she chuckled. "And you're right, this is the most beautiful woman in the whole world."
"Really?" she breathed in wonder — while Yukiko made flustered noises beside her.
"Yep! And we're really lucky to see her! They say she only appears to little girls who have been really good this year."
While Nanako was looking completely enthralled, Yukiko tutted, "Don't fill that poor girl's head with nonsense!" But she was blushing a bright red to match her sweater.
"Sorry," Chie laughed, though she didn't sound especially sincere about her apology, before she turned to pet the little girl on the head. "It was nice meeting you, but we have a date with meat."
"Okay!" she breathed, still obviously very taken with the idea of a magically appearing prettiest girl in the universe. She waved distractedly as the two moved off toward the restaurant.
"Well she didn't seem to mind that we were arm-in-arm."
Yukiko smiled through her rosy, embarrassed expression. "You're terrible. But… I suppose I appreciate the compliment. Thank you."
Now they were both flustered. Luckily, their trip to Souzai Daigaku in silence could help them temporarily forget they were in the middle of such a touchy, anxiety-inducing conversation.
Which only lasted until Chie was halfway through her order of way too many croquettes. Yukiko had mostly just been watching her devour them with wide eyes, both disgusted and impressed as she nibbled at her own single croquette.
"WHOO!" she burst out. "This is great! Time for dinner now."
"Time for- you really are a bottomless pit." When Chie only saluted like an American soldier, she giggled. "Wow. Do you want to head into Aiya for a beef bowl? I'm not hungry, but… I don't mind spending more time with you."
Obviously that got her best friend grinning like a loon. "R-really? I mean, you know I'm going to be taking the portal to the meat dimension."
"Oh? I thought they only served that on rainy days."
"Well… they'll make it for me, since I'm one of their best customers. But I have to pay more if it's not raining. Seems like a fair trade-off." She finished off her croquette and stood. "Ready?"
Still caught off guard, she blinked and stood beside Chie. "Lead the way."
The Chinese diner happened to be right next door to the croquette stand, so it wasn't as if they had a long walk ahead of them. Chie pulled her to the door by the hand, and Yukiko stumbled briefly before adapting to the quickened pace, sliding her arms around her prince's to steady herself. All smiles. They were so giddily in love, even though they hadn't been at all aware of said love a couple of days ago. Life could change so fast…
"Welcome!" said a girl in a red apron with short blue hair and a white scarf covering most of it — which was most of what one could see, given that she was already bowed low in greeting. "How may we serve you?"
"Hey, Nakamura!" Chie said casually enough. "Not out on deliveries today?"
The server straightened and shrugged with a smile. "Nope, Satonaka-san." Clearly she was being formal because they were customers, but her tone and expression was full of familiarity. "Booth in the back?"
"Sure! And you already know what I want. Yukiko?"
"Oh, just a small order of zhēngjiǎo," she told her with a wave of her hand. "And green tea. Thank you, Aika-chan."
"With chicken?" Yukiko nodded, and Aika beamed. "I'll have those out for you right away. Please have a seat."
They made small talk until their food arrived a few minutes later. Chie plunged into the mega beef bowl with gusto while her new girlfriend daintily nibbled at her plate of steamed dumplings. Halfway through, she began to pet up and down Chie's back with her free hand.
"Hmhg?" Chie asked around a mouthful of beef, eyes wide when she turned them on her. Yukiko giggled, which only made her grin — while morsels of food dropped from her lips.
"YUCK!" she cackled, while Chie blotted at her mouth with a napkin. "I'm actually dating a pig!"
After having swallowed down the rest of her mouthful, she laughed and nudged Yukiko with her shoulder as she started to dig into the fried egg on top of the bowl at last. "Sorry, sorry. But like, it was hilarious watching you get grossed out." Which only earned her the daintiest tongue sticking out at her.
They lapsed back into a comfortable silence for a few more minutes. This time, when Yukiko pet her back, Chie didn't overreact; just hummed and relaxed into the gentle touch. It really was a night and day difference. Instead of making them feel awkward and weird, now it was warm, and safe… it felt like a little piece of home could be created wherever and whenever they chose.
"I really… can't believe how easy this is."
"Mm," Chie hummed around her mouthful before reaching over to lay a hand on her bestie's forearm under the table. Once she managed to chew and swallow it down, she whispered, "It's pretty crazy, I can't believe I'm starting to get used to this. Keep thinking you're going to snap out of it and like, tell me to get away from you. Because I'm… whatever it is I am."
Yukiko tutted at her as she wrapped both arms around Chie's, laying her head on her shoulder. "You say that like it's just you. Not both of us. Maybe you had those thoughts about me first but clearly I'm not running away. So…"
When she didn't finish right away, she prompted, "What?"
"So, um… don't be so…" She swallowed. "Don't be mean to yourself. Don't put it all on you, especially when I'm happy. This is a good thing, not a death sentence."
"O-oh, I never- I didn't mean it was bad! Just like, weird, and it's gonna get people saying weird stuff about us. Like Yu and Yosuke already keep doing."
"They should be ashamed of themselves," she sighed as she dipped another jiaozi into the tiny pool of sauce. "Well… Yosuke should especially, but Yu was also too persistent."
Shaking her head, Chie stirred the contents of her bowl angrily. "Oughtta stomp all over those two. Like, it's none of their business! I don't care what they saw in the TV!"
"Shhhh, I'm sorry." Yukiko pet her thigh now, kissing the side of her neck. "I didn't mean to get you upset. Even though I do agree with you. So… relax, alright? Enjoy the meal."
But that presented a brand new development for Chie. Her stomach fluttered as she realised they weren't just cuddling, or being good friends. Food was now completely gone from the forefront of her mind. They were together, in public, and Yukiko was touching her leg. That thin uniform skirt was the only protection from getting to fully enjoy the warm smoothness of her dainty hand.
"Y-Yuki-chan…"
"What? Is something wrong?"
The hand came to a stop, yet Chie was still breathing shallow and rapid when she said, "O-oh, nothing, I just… I'm having a good time. With you! Yeah, with you, um… h-honey."
Both Yukiko's flawlessly-shaped eyebrows shot up. "Honey?!"
"SHHHH!" she hissed at her desperately. "I don't know, I've never had a girlfriend before! Or boyfriend! An ANY-gender-friend!"
"Oh, my honey!" Yukiko snickered in English, entire face lighting up. Lapsing back into her native tongue, she purred, "I think it's really sweet. Funny, but sweet."
"Oh, shut up, Honey!"
"Wow, that isn't very nice. And here I'm being so affectionate toward you."
Though Chie's mouth opened to protest, no sound came out when she felt impossibly soft lips barely pressing into the corner. This was insane! Anybody could see them — anyone from school, from in and around their neighbourhoods. The proprietors of Aiya. All of Inaba. Not only was the hand still teasing her leg, but it seemed to be heading down toward her knee. The hem of her skirt.
"Yukiko… this is so bad, what happens if they catch us?! We're gonna be out to the whole freaking town!"
Snickering a little, the innkeeper whispered into her ear conspiratorially, "Nobody's watching us, I promise. Look around." Her other hand casually gestured to the inside of the restaurant, where couples, men dining alone, groups of students eating while they studied, filled its interior. None of them were looking in their direction.
"A-ah. But…" Chie licked her lips as she felt her skirt being hiked up by the playful fingertips. "They could still… turn around and see you doing this… isn't that illegal, anyway?"
A little at a time, Yukiko's playful smirk faded and she dipped her head as her hand came to a stop. "Sorry, my Prince. I guess I just really want to make you feel good, and it seems exciting to do it right here, but... you're right, it's too risky. I don't know what got into me!"
"Oh, hey…" She put an arm around Yukiko's shoulders, pulling her in close against her body. "I'm not mad or anything. Just like, freaked out at the idea. Do you still wanna try it?"
"No," Yukiko told her with a small smile. "Well… yes, but it isn't that urgent. We should finish our food."
"You sure?"
"Yes. I don't want to make you choke on your beef bowl, anyway."
A little snort fell from her girlfriend's lips. "C'mon, I could handle both at the same time. Probably. I'm only iffy about it because I don't wanna get caught and thrown out of my favourite restaurant."
"Really? Because I don't think I could!" They both laughed a little, and Yukiko leaned up to kiss her cheek again. "But if you're sure you don't mind experimenting… we could see what happens."
"Yeah." She nodded to further drive home how serious she was. "Hit me. If I can't handle it, I'll tap out."
"Tap out?"
"Yep! You know, in American wrestling when they're… done with… yeah, no reason you would know that. They tap the mat in a super obvious way to show they give up. So like… I'll do this."
When Chie tapped the edge of her bowl twice with her chopsticks, Yukiko's eyes hyperfocused on the action and she nodded. "Ah, I see! Yes, I will definitely understand that action's meaning now."
"It's not that serious," she muttered. But then Yukiko was petting the inside of her thigh again, and all she could do was grunt to keep from moaning. "O-ohhhh… oh, we're… starting again."
Not just starting. Yukiko's nimble digits were making their way straight to her panties, no waiting. Chie felt her stomach disappear as she anticipated the touch hitting home at last. Any second now…
"YOU."
They both nearly fell off their chairs at the sudden sharp word issued from so close by. Trying not to appear as flustered as they were, the two girls looked up to see a near-flawless face gazing down at them marred by a haughty, annoyed expression. Her blonde-highlighted hair hung around her face in elaborate curls that had obviously taken a long time to fashion, just brushing the lacey pink choker wrapped around her throat — like Chie already wished her hands were, and they had barely begun a conversation.
"Ebihara," Chie breathed as her blood ran cold.
"What?" Ai Ebihara snapped, resting a hand on one hip as she cocked it out to the side. "Can I help you with something?"
"Uhhhhh, you came up to me, dude. What do you want?"
That response made her scoff loudly. "Nothing from some bowl-cut reject. I was talking to the priss."
While Chie was trying to ignore the vein throbbing in her forehead, Yukiko sat up a little straighter and pointed at her own chest. "Me?!"
"God, you're both idiots. There are only two people at this table, so if it's not the bowl cut, guess who it has to be?"
"Hey, watch it," Chie warned her as she leaned an elbow on the table. "Tell us what the hell you want or get out of here."
Scowling at her, Ebihara flipped her hair over her shoulder gracefully before edging into a chair across from them. Which was exactly the opposite of what they wanted; they were kind of in the middle of something! Couldn't she go away and come back another day, much like other black clouds?
"You have something I'm after. Give me that and I'll leave you to your pedestrian food."
Yukiko must have been sensing that her friend was going to stand up and shout at the interrupting annoyance, because she started petting up and down her thigh again. Soothing this time rather than teasing. "And what might I have that you want? I'm sorry, but I truly don't know."
"Narukami," she said without preamble.
"What about Narukami?" Chie asked suspiciously.
"I want him."
The other two girls exchanged a look. Where the hell was this coming from?! "U-uhhh…"
"Don't act so surprised. He's such a tall, mysterious stranger from so far away… practically the only boy at Yasogami who's remotely interesting. And you have been hogging him to yourself long enough. Fork him over."
"Wait, wait," Yukiko giggled nervously, hand flexing on Chie's thigh. She had to bite the inside of her cheek to keep from letting out a yelp of surprise. "You don't think… I'm actually dating Yu, do you?"
"I didn't say anything as heavy as 'dating'," she shot back with a roll of her honey-hued eyes. "But I've seen you two together a few times. How you smile at him. It's loathsome, but I can't deny you have an in with him that I do not… yet."
"We're friends, Ai-san. That's all, I promise!"
Her eyes narrowed as Yukiko pet higher. Chie had to fight to stay focused on the conversation. "Hmm. I could almost believe you…"
"Please do. I have no reason to lie to you."
"Very well. Let's say you are being straight with me. How can I turn his little grey-haired head — what's the story with that grey hair, too? Dye job, genetic thing?"
Before this point, Chie had been mostly nodding along, waiting for the tortuous exchange to come to an end. But something going on beneath the table now had her undivided attention. Yukiko had not stopped in her advance. Her fingers were now teasing the insides of her thighs dangerously close to her center as she kept her eyes pointed squarely at Ebihara.
"U-um…" But when their guest turned a glare on her, she shut up.
"Yu seems to really enjoy a lot of things," Yukiko quickly said to draw her attention back.
"A lot of… things." Ai raised an eyebrow at her. "Is that seriously as specific as you can get?"
"N-no, not at all. Maybe… if you could be more specific yourself, I can be more helpful. I don't mind, I'm just not sure exactly what your goal is."
As Ebihara contemplated, Chie found herself wondering the same question about Yukiko. What was her goal?! There was no way they were actually going to test out their friendship's newfound sexual component while sitting across a restaurant table from the prima donna of Yasogami High. Was there?!
"Well, I guess I'm curious why he hasn't asked me out yet," Ebihara said as Aika returned to their table. "Ever since I was made manager of the… I'm sorry, may we help you?"
Blinking at the cold tone, the waitress said, "U-um, I was going to ask the same thing. What can I get you, miss?"
"Nothing from this craphole." But when nobody followed up that statement, and Aika just scowled, she sighed. "Green tea. Unless you do boba here." The wince was enough to communicate they did not, so she sighed and waved her away, "Just regular old tea then, and take your time. I don't eat at places like this."
As poor Aika stomped away, Chie grunted, "You could h-haaaave been nicer to her."
Unfortunately, that near-moan didn't escape Ai's notice. "Your time of the month or something? You look like you're having some wicked cramps."
"Y-yeah," she said, figuring it was the easiest explanation. The girl made a disgusted face but didn't further pursue that line of questioning; all girls understood that one, right? Plus it took the heat off her from Yukiko's fingers gliding slowly up and down along her slit through the all-too-thin fabric of her undergarment.
"Anyway, I think he's really cute, and he irritates me a lot less than the other boys on the team. Plus when he works up a sweat during practice…" For a brief moment, while she was biting her lip and trying not to smile, she almost looked like a normal girl.
"So you have a crush on him," Yukiko said as casually as she could… while still driving her best friend crazy.
"Uh, yes? Hello? What other conclusion could you reach from what I just said?!"
"Of course, of course. Well, why don't you just ask him out instead?"
Ai scoffed and pressed a hand to her chest as if scandalised by the very notion. "ME?! Look at me. I'm stunning, and I work hard to be this stunning. What's the point in doing so if not so that the boys are the ones to fall at my dainty feet?"
Chie had to chance it, even though she was very nearly panting like a dog in heat. The comment was begging for a rebuttal. "I've… never h-heard someone describe their own feet as dainty before."
"Yeah? Well, stay tuned for more originality, courtesy of moi." Even though she was so elegant-looking, it was such a jarring, brutish move when she suddenly slapped her calf on top of the table, making the dinnerware clatter. "LOOK. Look at them."
Yukiko and Chie both blinked down at her now-shoeless foot. It was covered by her white stockings, of course, but it seemed dainty enough in size. So Chie said, "Yep, that's a foot."
"It, um, seems lovely?" Yukiko attempted. As the leg mercifully withdrew before the proprietor of Aiya saw it and was offended at such a rude display, she continued, "I also envy how trim you are, Ai-san. How do you stay in shape? Chie does a lot of sports training and martial arts."
"Mostly diet," she told them smugly as she pulled out a compact and preened slightly. Chie wondered idly how anyone could be so self-absorbed. "And a little time on my elliptical at home every evening. Gotta burn those calories. What about you?"
Caught off guard by the question being turned around on her, Yukiko smiled demurely as she went back to teasing Chie harder. Her throat constricted to cut off a very genuine moan. "Oh, nothing in particular. Portion control. Though my duties at Amagi Inn do tend to keep me very active."
"Really? I can't believe that — you're way too perfect for that to be the whole story. What is it, kale? Juice cleanses? Do you…"
For a little while, Chie lost track of the conversation. Her entire focus was on those fingers playing over her growing wetness. Luckily the diner was full of pungent, savoury aromas or she would really have been in trouble — no way she wasn't stinking up the place with the scent of her arousal by now. All she wanted was to drag Yukiko off to the bathroom for a glorious finish, but she wasn't sure she would be able to stand just now. Besides, it would be the only move even more conspicuous than what they were already doing.
"...definitely working," Ebihara was finally relenting when she refocused, trying to block out the urges to moan and roll her hips by distracting herself. "But yeah, loan me that when you get the chance."
"Of course." Yukiko only occasionally glanced at Chie, to make sure she wasn't distressed or angry. And since Chie was trying to look politely interested in the conversation, it never showed how intolerable this whole situation was for her, so she went right back to petting and chatting. "And as I said, I don't know what sort of perfume he prefers, but anything should be fine. But knowing Yu, I don't think he would care about the brand if you name-dropped."
Ai's brow furrowed slightly as she tapped the surface of the table. Meanwhile, Chie was doing the same with one of her legs, jiggling it up and down in an attempt to abate the feelings assaulting her. In fact, it made them worse… but even after realising that, she couldn't seem to stop. She needed to get off now.
"Well, he certainly does look at me like he likes what he sees. What the hell's his problem? What more do I have to do?"
"It's probably a courage problem," Yukiko told her — while pressing two fingertips harder against Chie's clit. Which was throbbing so hard it didn't even present a challenge for her to find through the panties. "He hasn't worked up enough to ask someone as pretty as you out yet. Give him time, or make your own interest more obvious, since you said you didn't want to ask him yourself."
Ebihara tapped her chin. "You know, even though you're just a townie, I think you have a point. I won't outright ask him, but I could flirt a little. I'm just used to the boys making all the moves on me."
"A-ah…"
"Hm? Something wrong, Satonaka?"
"N-nah," Chie tried to cover. In reality, she had been unable to suppress that moan when Yukiko's fingers inadvertently tensed upon being called 'just a townie'. Despite the reason, it had felt too good against her greedy flesh. "Still my… red tide. Mm, what would you do? To flirt."
Looking at her a little funny, Ebihara shrugged. "I don't know. That's not really my thing; I prefer to have them chasing me. But I guess I've thought about it before, just in theory."
"So, u-um, try out some lines. Maybe we can tell you if they're- nhh… if they're too cheesy."
"Fine. Guess there's no reason not to." While Chie's hips began to squirm back and forth, the orgasm so close now, Ai preened at her hair a little more before leaning her elbows on the table and resting her chin on her folded hands. "Hey there. What's a nice guy like you doing on a crummy team like this?"
"I don't think that's very kind," Yukiko put in — while circling her best friend's clit harder than ever. "Try not to put down the team, he might take offense."
"But they really are a crummy team. Well, except for Kou-chan…" Her expression flickered, and it almost looked a bit wounded for a moment — before she recomposed herself into the usual arrogance. "Okay, you're probably right. Let me try something else."
"Please," Chie begged. Though it was actually for release and not another flirtation demonstration.
"Wow. You just made yourself my guinea pig, Bowl Cut." Chie wanted to be mad…
But an instant later, Ai's hands were delicately taking up the one of hers that was resting on top of the table. Her eyes softened as she looked up into Chie's, slightly wetted lips parting as her throat worked to swallow, as if nervous.
"I know… I haven't been the manager for very long, but… I really like seeing you every day. And you're so strong, and athletic… not to mention easy on the eyes. I wouldn't mind spending a little more time with you, okay? One on one."
"Really?" Chie half-panted, just barely able to keep from making it completely obvious what was happening under the table. "One on one, h-huh? What for?"
Anyone would have been able to tell Ebihara was fighting down some variety of "Are you stupid?" response. But after the brief flicker of ire, she leaned further forward, showing a slight glimpse of her collarbone beneath her school uniform, the very top of her cleavage. Her eyes were sparkling, lips parted even more as she began to heave for breath. Chie responded in kind… because she couldn't stop herself from letting the desire show through anymore. Even if it wasn't actually desire for the person in front of her, at least it came across like she was playacting for the sake of aiding their classmate.
"To make all your wildest dreams come true. Listen…" One hand still holding Chie's, she let the other one raise up to graze well-manicured fingernails up and down along the inside of her forearm. Goosebumps raced over her skin. "I've been thinking about this for a long time, and…" She feigned being shy, biting her lip and looking away.
"And?" Chie prompted hastily, riding the edge as Yukiko sped up her efforts. A quick glance over showed she was curious to see what might happen next.
Looking back up, the normally snooty girl leaned so close their noses were almost touching, voice dipping down into a husky whisper. "And I want… you to be my first. Will you claim my body?"
Well damn.
This orgasm was the hardest yet, and it bowled over Chie with such a force she had no way to prepare. A moan started to burble up past her lips, and had just barely begun when she belatedly realised that even though her entire mind was consumed with the taboo of this activity, with the sheer potency of the climax itself, she still had to keep the whole diner from figuring out what they were doing. What a nightmare, what an impossible situation!
Which she made worse, because in her Cro-magnon brain's efforts to stop the noise, it sought the easiest avenue possible when there was a set of pouty lips a mere inch away from her own.
"MM!" Ai grunted when she felt the kiss begin, the hand holding Chie's clamping down hard so that her nails bit into the skin of her palm. But when Chie grasped it back just as hard, she sort of… melted. Just for a few seconds, they were really kissing each other while Chie's climax made her hips roll against the punishing fingers, milking that moment for all it was worth.
Then Ai drew back and smacked her across the face.
"OW!" she yelped, completely shocked. "Wh-what-"
"EXCUSE YOU!" she gasped out, cheeks flaming red now despite her furious expression. "This was supposed to be acting, not with… with actual… th-that was too far!"
Though Yukiko looked quite thoughtful, she still put in, "Actors kiss all the time. Even in school plays. I think she was just really into the scene."
"Y-yeah," said a dazed Chie, brain too foggy from orgasm afterglow and the stunning blow to her face to say much more.
"W-well, I… I didn't say we could do that, so it was very rude to do it without asking!" The prissy girl pushed her hand into her mouth. "GOD, I kissed a girl and I didn't even hate it — I'm a yuri. At least she didn't steal my first kiss! Then I would be really mad, you don't even know!"
"She didn't?" Yukiko asked curiously, even while smirking playfully at the flustered Chie. Apparently, they would be talking about this at great length later. "Who was your first kiss?"
"Some boy I- oh, nevermind! Screw you two perverts, you're crazy!" She hastily got up from the table, then stumbled a little before sitting back down. "UGH! And if I didn't take off my shoe earlier, I could have stormed out of here and looked much cooler! DAMN it, I'm having the worst day!"

A Day Off
It’s a calm day for Kakashi and Obito, or it was calm until they babysit a young Naruto who doesn’t really get how a baby is growing in Kakashi. AO3
Obito woke up to an empty bed and the smell of steamed rice wafting through the room. He slowly sat up and gave a wide yawn accompanied with a stretch. Taking a moment to stretch out his right arm and leg, even years later and completely healed the limbs were always stiff in the morning.
After another small yawn he finally got out of the warm bed and gave a small shiver when his bare feet hit the bare floor, after a brief search he pulled on a shirt and shuffled out to meet his boyfriend.
Entering the kitchen his gaze zeroed in on the omega finishing the fish, a smile made its way on Obito’s face and he couldn’t help but soak in Kakashi.
The way he moved about with lazy confidence while cooking, how he would shift his weight between legs, and how more recently Kakashi would rub his steadily growing stomach.
“Like something you see?”
Obito felt a flash of heat rise up at being so brazenly called out but before he responded he felt his eye glued to the bare stretch of milky skin over his scent gland.
It took effort not to growl or whine at the reminder that even though the pair lived together, slept together, and were even having a baby together that they were still not mates.
Kakashi turned enough to give him a glance when the alpha became silent and Obito forced himself to stop that train of thought, they had argued enough about that topic before and he wasn’t about to sour the whole day because his inner alpha wanted to properly mate Kakashi.
Instead he went behind the omega and wrapped his arms around the man, resting his hands were Kakashi’s was just a moment ago. Burying his nose in Kakashi’s neck he breathed in the recently sweeter scent and when their child moved beneath his hand he let a happy grumble escape.
This earned Obito a warm laugh and an awkwardly aimed kiss on the cheek, after that Kakashi gave the alpha’s face a small pat before moving away from the embrace to move the cut fish into two plates.
Obito moved to the table and poured the tea, sitting down just before Kakashi put the plate before him. It was a simple breakfast of rice, miso and fish.
Though Obito wasn’t complaining considering that Kakashi had the skill to make even simple meals taste amazing, however the simpler meal did make Obito worry that Kakashi’s morning sickness was back. It had wrecked the omega when he was going through it and it had even gotten to the point that Rin was beginning to worry, relief had been palpable when the nausea gave way to appetite and cravings.
Kakashi noticed Obito’s unusual hesitation in digging into the meal and raised an eyebrow, “you know that we’re watching Naruto today right? Which means he’s going to want to go to Ichiraku’s and that he’s going to try and make you beat your old record of how many bowls you can go through.”
This made sense to Obito and he gave the other man a bright smile, “thanks.” Kakashi gave a put upon sigh but gave the alpha a sharp toothed smile as well.
The rest of breakfast went by peacefully and Obito took the dishes away to wash them, by the time he was done cleaning up Kakashi had already exited their bedroom dressed for the day.
“Oh, you’re still not ready? You should hurry, I’m not going to be late and make Kushina-San angry just because you dragged your feet.”
Obito gave a quick sputter before giving an indignant “hey!”, but he did walk faster than he usually did to the bedroom. He finished getting dressed in record time and definitely did not rush back out to try to prove that he could be fast if he wanted to.
However the moment a single grey eye landed on him Obito knew that he had put something on wrong, sure enough Kakashi pointed to his shirt with a smug grin.
Obito looked down and bit down a groan when he saw that his shirt was inside out, taking it off he pointedly didn’t look at Kakashi as he turned his shirt right side in.
He was putting the article back on when he heard a fond chuckle coming from Kakashi, poking his head through he felt his cheeks heat up at the look of utter fondness and love Kakashi was giving him.
After the shirt was on properly Obito looked back over to his lover and felt a flash of disappointment that Kakashi’s mask was in place, hiding both the beauty mark that Kakashi bore and the sharp teeth that came from his Inuzuka side.
Pushing away the urge to pull the mask down he instead put on his shoes and joined Kakashi at the doorway. Locking the door behind them the couple walked in steady silence, hands joined together and swaying in a steady rhythm.
They passed by some familiar faces, including Rin who wasted no time in grilling Kakashi about how he was really feeling and she didn’t let them continue until they both promised to spend time with her on her next day off.
Mostly thanks to Kakashi’s foresight they arrived at the Uzumaki household early, Obito was the one to knock and was therefore the one tackled by a young Naruto.
“Obi-nii!”
The alpha couldn’t help but wince at the shriek in his ear but still pulled the blonde boy away from his neck and give him a grin. “Hey troublemaker.”
Naruto’s smile grew just a bit wider at the nickname and finally noticed the man behind them, “Kaka-nii!”
He immediately began struggling to get free, managing to smash his elbow into Obito face.
“Naruto!” At his mother’s warning tone the boy stopped struggling immediately and looked over to her sheepishly, when Obito set him down Naruto looked down.
“M’sorry.” It couldn’t be more clear that Naruto was apologizing mostly for his mothers benefit, Obito gave a small shrug.
“No problem.” Kushina’s hard stare told Obito that saying that was not what he was supposed to say, however her gaze shifted to Kakashi and immediately brightened.
“Kakashi! How are you feeling? Obito isn't making you do all the work is he? Don’t let him give you any lip, he should be worshiping the ground you walk on.”
She made sure to say that last part loud enough for Obito to clearly hear him and Kakashi gave a closed eye smile. “I’m fine, though I wouldn’t turn down more foot rubs. Happy anniversary by the way.”
Obito wanted to argue that he had offered many times to do things for the expecting omega but had been shot down each time, however his former teachers chuckle cut that off.
“I’m happy to see everyone get along so well. Kushina, are you ready?”
The beta turned and gave her husband a nod, “we should probably get going. The hokage doesn’t get to many days off, ya’know.”
She leaned down to look Naruto in the eyes, “now you need to be on good behavior for your Kakashi Nii-San, alright? Remember what we talked about earlier, and have fun sweetie. Mommy and Daddy will be back before you go to bed, I love you.”
Naruto obediently nodded with unusual focus, “okay Mommy, love you too.”
Minato was next and ruffled his sons hair gently, “be good, have fun.” Naruto nodded once again and with that his parents linked hands and with a final wave went off to enjoy each others company.
The moment they were out of sight Naruto openly stared at Kakashi’s rounding stomach, “mommy said you’re not fat and that there's a baby in there.”
Obito didn’t have time to hold back the snort of laughter from the comment, when Kakashi glanced at him he hid his mouth behind his hand to cover the smile.
Kakashi sighed and rubbed the back of his head, “come on, let’s get inside and I’ll try to explain.”
For once Naruto nodded and followed Kakashi without hesitation, when the omega sat down on the couch Naruto was quick to join him. “So you know I’m having a baby right?”
The last time he had seen the boy Kakashi had just started to really show and Naruto had immediately demanded why Kakashi was so fat now. Obito had been the one to try and explain that it wasn’t fat but that Kakashi was growing a small human in his stomach, something that both confused and scared young Naruto.
Naruto nodded, “mommy told me that there’s a baby in your tummy, and that you’re making the baby grow until it’s ready to be born.”
Obito wondered how long it took Kushina to get that through to the boy, he loved Naruto as a brother but he’d admit that the boy could be dense.
Kakashi nodded, “yeah that’ll work for now. Now did your mom tell you what that will make you?”
Naruto gave a look of pure confusion and shook his head. “Well when this baby is born, their going to need somebody to watch over and protect them in ways Obito and I can’t. They’re going to need a big brother.”
This made all the gears in Naruto’s head click and he sat up in excitement, “me! I’ll be the best big brother ever!”
Kakashi couldn’t help but smile at the child, “now hold on Naruto, being a big brother is a a lot of responsibility. It'll be a lot of work and there will be times that they annoy you or make you mad.”
This made Naruto pause and a look of seriousness washed over his face, “I’ll be the best big brother, I promise.”
Kakashi reached up and ruffled the blond locks before pausing and gently grabbing the boys hand, “looks like they agree with you, feel.”
He placed the small hand over the spot just kicked and soon a look slack jawed awe overtook Naruto. He leaned forward to the spot, “hi baby! I’m your big brother!”
He giggled when the child moved in response and Obito felt the threat of tears at the heartwarming scene.
