He was a bit of a buttface in the earlier seasons of the show sometimes but ya know what as an eldest sibling 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I DIDNT REALLY HATE HIM FOR IT

Honestly despite not being a top fav of mine he’s still super relatable to me especially during the Bernard of the Creek special, it hit especially hard during my rewatch and hes just so ☹️☹️ Its scary growing up then suddenly realizing youre not ready

His dynamic with his siblings is also super cute to see, his bickering with Craig is so realistic and yea he seems like a buttface at times because we’re seeing the show from Craigs POV and you know how siblings are sometimes, but of course despite all that we get cute moments between the pair and I WOULD BE LYING OUT OF MY ASSSS IF I SAID THOSE SCENES DIDNT MAKE ME TEAR UP AT THE VERY LEAST Especially during Bernard of the creek THEYRE JUST SO SWEET ☹️☹️☹️

His relationship with Jessica is so cute and underrated too like YALL REMEMBER HIM TEACHING HER HOW TO PLAY POWER PUNCHERS IN JESSICAS SHORTS THAT WAS SO CUTEEEE

the williams kids are all so Particular about certain aspects of their lives it's fascinating. jessica has a specific after-school routine, and she feels like the world is ending when she doesn't go through that routine. she has her own little jobs around the house but shes the only one who can do those jobs because everyone else does it "the wrong way" according to her (source: "escape from family dinner")

craig isn't neat and organized at home but he gets attached to material objects (like in the ep where his mom asks him to clean out his closet), and he has to care for them in a specific way, and he gets upset when others mess with his objects in any shape or form. he's a picky eater!! he LOVES his map so much and does everything in his power to keep it from getting even a little bit dirty; it makes his sacrifice in heart of the forest finale SO important

bernard has Gifted Kid Syndrome; he thinks he has his entire future planned out down to every detail but as soon as things go in a way that doesn't align with his plans he breaks down. i dunno, they're all so interesting to me. my silly autism family

also we need more bernard and jessica bonding moments bc the way their personalities compare/contrast is SO cool to me personally
