The Relationships Of The Alternate Ben and Rexs

Ben and Rex Prime: Oh my god they were roommates(they like each other but neither one knows because they’re both idiots even though it’s obvious)

Bad Ben and Rex: Legit partners in crime(and also lovers but that’s not a secret with the way they act towards each other, lots of casual flirting)

Ben and Rex 23: Those little fuckers will steal your toes and giggle about it for an hour(they get along like your regular adolescent boys would, nicely)

Nega Ben and Rex: “Wow we can hate the world together”(it may not seem like they get along judging by how all they do is stand next to each other and never talk but they’re actually the only person the other likes enough to NOT roll their eyes at)

Benzarro and Rexzarro: Rexzar actually thinks Benzar is very pretty even with the zombie infection(everyone is utterly confused and slightly creeped out)

No Watch and No Nanite: They have crushes on each other(just like Prime)but of course they’re both really shy about it(this annoys the ever living hell out of Bad Ben “You both like each other why can’t you just admit it already?!”)

Ben and Rex 10k: They’re married. NO exceptions.

Eon and Era: They’re divorced. Some exceptions.

Mad Ben and Rex: It’s.....complicated...

BenZarro Dimension World Building: The Nemetrix Virus

   While Earth has been addressing the Zombie virus, there has been an intergalactic Pandemic taking planet’s by storm thanks to the Incursean Empires

   Known as the Nemetrix Virus, this nasty concoction of Dr. Psychobos’ was developed to build instant armies for any planet the Incursean’s happened to land on. Using the Osmosian absorption strain of DNA, the virus forcibly combines the victims DNA with whatever second strand of DNA is attached. The effects on the mind and body depend on the strain one is infected with.   

   The First Wave Nemetrix Virus (aka Nemtri-1) was an attempt to mimic the Omnitrix without need for a limiting device. Fortunately, seeing as the Incrusean Empire had recently conquered a new planet with a FASCINATING, one of a kind resource, there were plenty of “volunteers’’ to pick from for testing. Most were proven to be unsuccessful- Psychobos was never able to get a complete change without creating a corpse and most of the survivors remained stuck partially transformed and unable to transform back or to another form via the virus.

   Frustrated at the lack of the results and under threat by Attea, Psychobos went a different direction and focused less on copying the Omnitrix and instead focused on making the “super soldiers” Attea wanted. 

   The second wave Nemetrix virus (Nemtri-2) uses strictly predator DNA to mutate the victims. Most victims of the second wave virus are completely feral/mindless. They will attack anything they deem as a threat and can only be controlled by those wielding the Amber Ogia concentrate compound. Most are unable to shift forms, though it is said those who are strong-willed enough are able to.

   The only ones who seem to remain in somewhat control of themselves in the alternate, or “soldier” form of the Second Wave Nemetrix Virus, are those with a high concentration of Amber Ogia already in their systems at the point of infection or those already had the previous strain of the virus.

    Ironically enough, the only thing that has been proven to be completely immune to and able to kill off the virus is the Terran Zombie Virus currently being dealt with on Earth.

Announcement ;)

So, we have quite a few ideas in mind for the fanfiction. So, depending on the number of votes we get for each story, I’ll write the fanfiction accordingly. For instance, if one story gets the most votes, I will make the fanfic for it first. The second most votes given for another story will have its fanfic made second, and so on and so forth. Votes cannot be counted after 28th of August. Here are the topics for each story:

a) A story about a virus that takes over Bellwood after a recent alien attack. (And how the problem escalates, the obstacles, and how the problem dies down.

b) A series of stories about the different Bens of different dimensions, their pasts and presents. (Like NW, Ben 23, Ben Prime, Benzarro, Mad Ben, Bad Ben, Nega Ben, etc. Even their respective Albedoes).

c) A story about how a Ben from a different dimension seeks to destroy all Omnitrix wearers throughout the multiverse, due to jealousy and rage, while planning to first attack the weakest of the Bens. (The Ben WITH an Omnitrix. I think we all know who that might be).

d) A story about how Ben 23 meets his dimension’s Rook, and how their relationship is so far, along with the kind of dilemmas they face, and how they are solved with Rook around. (The reason being for specifically choosing 23 is because the villains are less likely to meet their respective Rook because they do not have the same goals to save Bellwood. Rook is the good guy in almost every dimension we know).

The fact that Benzarro comes from a zombie apocalypse world, Mad Ben comes from a desperate world where he was mentored by two villains, and Nega Ben comes from a hipster world makes me so sad over the way they were clearly manipulated.

Benzarro's world had the apocalypse happen and now he's a zombie. Obviously he didn't start out that way. And Azmuth tried to find a cure only to get turned into a zombie too. There's just nothing that's not sad about that. And clearly being a zombie has lowered his intelligence, making him ridiculously easy to manipulate. He's just a zombified kid that probably only understands the bare minimum of what Vilgax and Eon want him to do.

Mad Ben's world had something happen to it to turn it into the wasteland that it is. It's described as a world where everyone is desperate for resources and Grandpa Max is missing. Mad at some point, probably when he got his watch, became mentored by Vilgax and Maltruant(who later betrayed him and he was actually hurt by that). You know that had to play a major part in him becoming the 'warlord' that he is/was. So not only was he already manipulated in his life, but that made him much easier to go along with Vilgax and Eon's plan.

And Nega Ben's world being hipster central means it's the most normal. He's just plain emo. And that means there's so many different opportunities that Nega could have gone down to make him harder to manipulate. He had a chance. His world must have been filled with chances for him to be happy and cheerful and maybe he could have turned out to be a preppy Ben, but instead he became uncaring and indifferent towards everything. And the fact that he had opprotunities that the other two didn't get and he still ended up as Nega Ben makes the manipulation by Vilgax and Eon that he fell for all the more sadder.

Then there's Bad Ben, who's a complete anamoly due to him just straight up not having a backstory. He's a real douchebag, that's for sure, but he mentioned that he and No Watch must have taken the same self defense classes. While there's many different ways and reasons he could have done that, it does at least give a chance of implying he comes from a non post-apocalyptic world. And self defense classes existing at all in his world could also imply there's good people if they're willing to teach that skill set to other people. Meaning at the very least it's not a world 100% filled with bad people, also implying there could have been hope for him not ending up as Bad Ben. And considering the way he jokes around and torments No Watch could imply he's like that by choice, once again implying there was hope for him not being Bad.

And this is all not even mentioning Ben 23. The kid who had no Grandpa Max to guide him, just like Mad. But 23 did become a hero, he just viewed all aliens as evil no matter what. If Prime Ben hadn't come around in Store 23 then it's possible Eon could have actually managed to manipulate the kid.

I really truly don't believe any of them were actually naturally 'evil'. Zombified Ben, life long manipulated Ben, and Ben with chances that he didn't take. They were just easy to manipulate is all. Benzarro and Mad were even turned into what they are. Those two had no hope! I just feel so sad for them and hope things have/will get better for all of them, Bad included, back in their home dimensions.

The Sigmatrix

I’m feeling a bit creatively drained at the moment, so, taking inspiration from this post by @jennifer-10nyson​, here’s my own version of the Omnitrix.

History

My name is AJ. My Omnitrix, locally known as the Sigmatrix, was created by my universe’s Azmuth, similar to Ben Prime. When I was 9 years old, I lived out deep within the Rocky Mountains of Canada, where my father operated at a local military base. Out of nowhere, one fateful day, a gunner at the base had shot down a passing by UFO, and it crashed right in my home’s front lawn! My father and I went to investigate, and an injured Azmuth exited the vehicle, his life in serious peril. My father and I attended to his wounds and helped repair his ship over the course of the next several weeks, no doubt thanks to some strange technology he had onboard. When all was said and done, and as thanks for helping repair his ship and heal his wounds, he bestowed upon the both of us a small, red box. I opened it and a gold and brown watch that felt like smooth felt jumped up onto my wrist! Now, by using this strange device that I still don’t know all that much about, I can transform into a number of different alien species from across the Multiverse and protect those who cannot protect themselves! Those who are wicked by choice, beware!

Main Function

The primary use of the Sigmatrix is to hold the genetic code of a variety of different alien life forms from thousands of different planets, galaxies and beyond, with most being from the Milky Way. However, I only started out with seven! Those seven being the following:

Meltdown (Mustarite)

Beatbox (Hyper-Evolved Sonorosian)

Huntdown (Yautja)

Hardware (Galvanic Mechamorph)

Airborne (Lepidosaurian)

Hexagon (Vreedle)

Overcharge (Conductoid)

Other functions

Master Control: While I currently don’t have it unlocked, the Master Control would allow me to transform into any alien with just a thought and allow me to remain alien for as long as I desire.

DNA Modifying: The Sigmatrix is capable of modifying the DNA of any selected transformation (as well as myself) to a limited degree in order to repair wounds, expand muscles to make my aliens (or myself) stronger, and more. 

Quick Change: While in alien form, I can choose to switch to a different alien without reverting back to human before hand. However, this does drain the “battery” faster.

Life Lock: If I so choose, I can remain in a specific alien form for an extended period of time without timing out. However, the longer I remain in said form, the longer it takes for the Sigmatrix to recharge once I revert back to human form.

Artificial Intelligence: The Sigmatrix is home to an A.I. Program known as Sigma, who manages a majority of the Sigmatrix’s other functions and acts as a moral conscience, giving me advice when in times of need. Sometimes, she even goes so far as to act like the mom I never had growing up...

Universal Translator: The Sigmatrix is able to translate any language within the galaxy to English in both a speech and text format, with the exception of Xa’tese, the native tongue of the Yautja species. I end up circumventing this by just transforming into Huntdown, anyway.

2-Way Communicator: The Sigmatrix can connect to any wireless communication device (be it a Plumber’s badge, cell phone, or computer) and communicate through said device. This basically allows the Sigmatrix to gain access to the Internet whenever I need it!

Voice Command: The Sigmatrix can act and engage or disengage any of the other features mentioned here according to various verbal commands given to it, with the exception of Master Control. Only Azmuth can access that one.

Anti-Removal Failsafe: The Sigmatrix is bonded to my DNA on a genetic level, meaning it is extremely difficult to remove and downright painful if done so by force. Any attempt to force the device off my wrist will result in an omnidirectional energy pulse that can knock away people with enough force to turn a brick wall into dust! Thank god this thing’s water-proof...

Anti-Death Failsafe: If I was placed in a position that would result in my death, the Sigmatrix will quickly cycle through my available aliens and attempt to transform me into something that will protect me from whatever threat I’m dealing with. However, if no aliens are available, it will forcefully unlock a brand new alien instead! This is how I managed to unlock my most powerful alien, a Celestialsapien named Prometheus. This is an imperfect failsafe, however, as it only works while I’m in human form.

Sigmatrix Modes

Orange-- Active

This mode means that all systems are operating normally and I’m ready to transform. It also allows me to activate and use the other functions mentioned above.

Glitched Purple-- Hacked

This one means that the Sigmatrix has been hacked and is under someone else’s control. To reverse this and get thins back to normal, I gotta hard-reboot it.

Brown-- Selection

This isn’t really a mode, but I figured I’d include it anyway. This one shows up when I’m getting ready to transform into a particular alien. For example, Overcharge.

Dark Red-- Time Out/Recharge

The roughly 17~ minute time limit for a transformation is up and I gotta wait out a recharge time, which is usually only about three minutes. This mode also engages if I manually revert back to normal.

Pink with Spots-- Mind Control

I’m being hypnotized and Sigma’s currently in the process of trying to shake me free. 

Teal-- T.S.T. (Trix Space Travel)

This one is... a bit on the strange side. From what I can tell, inside the Sigmatrix is this sort of simulated alternate dimension called the Trix Space, where all my aliens hang out and live life like normal people, patiently awaiting the next time I transform. They got all the normal needs, like entertainment, food, drinks and even their own form of government. Subsequently, this mode allows me to kinda-sorta project my consciousness into the Trix Space and interact with my aliens. When I’m inside, the Sigmatrix creates a barrier around my physical body that’s completely indestructible, just so no one tries to hurt me while I’m not home.

Grey and Red-- Self-Destruct

For this mode, the Sigmatrix recognizes that it’s been compromised and will destroy itself in order to prevent its technology from falling into the wrong hands, such as Vilgax or Malware. The detonation sequence can also be charged for various periods of time to either increase or decrease the blast radius and level of destruction, from only a few feet to almost the entire Universe!

Yellow w/ Question Mark-- Encyclopedia

Oh, I love this one! This mode acts like a hand-dandy guide to all things alien, such as culture, fashion, language and more, as I can’t really access the Internet when I’m not on Earth. I can always find just what I need through this one!

Yellow w/ Exclamation Point-- Message

This one is basically the Sigmatrix’s own form of texting. Lets me get in touch with friends real quick from just about anywhere, no matter how far away I am!

Dark Grey w/ Moon & Star-- Sleep Mode

What this one does is exactly what it says on the tin. Nap time!

Two shades of Grey w/ Clock-- Disguise

Also self-explanatory. This mode alters the Sigmatrix’s outer-shell to disguise it as just another ordinary wrist watch, just so people don’t get weired out. I can still transform like normal, though.

Green, Purple, Blue, Red and Orange-- Multiverse Communicator

This is basically the Message Mode, but way better! It allows me to get in touch with other Omnitrix Users from across the Multiverse, on the off chance I may need help in a fight or we just wanna hang out. Benzarro never returns my calls...

Black-- Shut Down

The whole thing is shut off and can’t be used until it’s turned back on. Perfect for getting under the hood and fixing the advanced tech when something goes wrong. Funny enough, I’ve managed to engage this mode while transformed into an alien before, and while I thought something terrible might’ve happened, nothing of the sort did. Score for me!

Prime Cassie

 The Cassie Williams of the Prime Dimension. After her supposed death, she was taken under Professor Paradox's wing and became a training time traveler. As a time traveler, she goes by the name Mobius.

 For some time, she could only travel through the past within her dimension, meaning she couldn't jump to the future

(specifically, anytime after her "death") and other dimensions without being accompanied by Paradox.

 After the existence of another Mobius was discovered, Prime!Cassie is referred to as Neo Mobius. According to Paradox, he was sure that it's only Prime!Cassie that's bound to follow the path into being a Mobius. 

A major player during Omniverse's Time War.

Cassie 23

Since she's only 13 in this dimension, Cassie is still yet to discover her telekinetic powers at this point in time.

Serves as Ben 23's manager.

I envision her design being similar to Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service! She'd fly around in a hoverboard while holding her kitty-themed phone.

No Watch Cassie

 "What if Ben and Cassie never met?"

In this dimension, Cassie's father never died in an accident and alongside that, she also never met Ben. With all of these, she lives a 'relatively normal life'. Despite all these major differences, she still dreams of 'being a hero'.

Her fate gets intertwined with No Watch Ben after being the one to tell Grandpa Max of the presence of Vilgax in the area.

Throughout the events of And Then There Were None/And Then There Was Ben, she was being chased by her evil counterparts to stop her from getting to Max. Fortunate for her, she was being accompanied by Prime!Mobius (and later on, Eon!Mobius).

Eon’s Cassie

 A Cassie who has lived for thousands of years after choosing to live her life as a time traveler.

 Has fully lost her humanity and her memories, thus being described as being an empty husk of who she once was.

 She has only shown herself to others by means of astral projection. Her physical body is said to reside in an astral plane which few can enter.

 This Cassie sides with neither good or bad, rather she just chooses to do whatever she wishes to do so.

EVIL COUNTERPARTS

Bad Cassie

 "What if Cassie didn't limit her powers? What are the extents of her powers?"

One of the 2 Cassie's who successfully caused wreckage upon Bellwood and serves as Bad Ben's loyal sidekick.

She's emotionally unstable, which is why her powers can go from controlled to unpredictably powerful in a matter of seconds whenever she has a breakdown. Whenever this happens, she's shown to disintegrate multiple buildings near her almost immediately.

Similar to Bad Ben, she serves as the leader of the group.

Similar to her prime counterpart, she's EXTREMELY loyal and clingy to Bad Ben.

Nega Cassie

 "What if Cassie learned to fully control her powers before she became Mobius?" and "What if Prime Ben and Cassie's relationship were reversed?"

 Out of all the pre-Mobius!Cassie counterparts, Nega Cassie has the best control of her powers and knows how to use them to the best of her abilities. Not only that, she's also shown to be incredibly adept at martial arts. 

Serves as the 'mom friend' of the group and is often the one to calm down Bad Cassie whenever she's having her meltdown.

After her father's death, this Cassie immediately ran away from home and chose to live on an abandoned warehouse where she later on discovered her powers.

She's apparently the leader of a gang in her respective world.

EXTREMELY overprotective of Nega Ben. The only reason why she agreed to do join the cross-dimensional Time War with Vilgax was because Nega Ben wanted to do so.

Benzarro! Cassie idk Cassiezarro sounded weird

Described as the dimension where Cassie is actually fighting to save her humanity (a question in which Cassie is heavily conflicted about throughout her life as Mobius)

After being infected (presumably by Benzarro), Cassie's mutant blood slowed the growth of the infection within her body, thus making her a mixed hybrid between a mutant human and an undead. 

This Cassie is often fighting her undead urges and is desperately clinging to her few ounces of humanity

During combat, her undead urges are triggered. In combat, her physical strength is increased immensely and her sense for human blood is heightened.

Her concept is inspired by The Witch from L4D2

Mad Cassie

The other Cassie who successfully caused wreckage upon Bellwood, though Mad Cassie was only able to cause half of it.

Serves as Mad Ben's personal sniper and assassin. She resides in a watchtower where she keeps an eye to enslaved subjects attempting to run away from the settlement. 

Unlike her counterparts, she doesn't speak at all.

After Mad Ben's detainment, she chose to work alongside Mad Rook.

Ben Tennyson has 4 evil counterparts from other dimensions. Albedo met them so they could band together. Bad Ben is the one with the sea foam green Omnitrix, Nega Ben has a grey Omnitrix, Benzarro has a purple Omnitrix, and Mad Ben has an orange Omnitrix called the power watch. They might be Ben Tennyson of different universes, but they don’t have the one thing the true Ben Tennyson has, and that’s the heart of a hero who cares deeply for his friends and family and protects those in danger.

I think it's supposed to match the color of the Plumbers in that universe. Like in Dimension 23, the Plumbers were blue instead of green, so is the Omnitrix.

That may be the same for Mad Ben and Benzarro. Different Omnitrix colors for the different Plumber color scheme.

Something I never understood about Gwen 10, why is her Omnitrix pink and blue? Isn’t the only big difference in that universe the fact that Gwen got to the Omnitrix first? I assume the prime Omnitrix is green and black due to that being the Galvan’s main colors, since Azmuth and his tech are blue in dimension 23 and his version of the Omnitrix matches, so why the pink Omnitrix in the Omniverse redesign of Gwen 10? Is all Galvan tech pink and cyan in Gwen 10′s timeline?

Honestly this is probs one of the things I give the reboot the most credit for, since Reboot Gwen 10′s Omnitrix isn’t randomly different colors. 

Also just a opinion regarding a headcanon I see alot, studying magic seems too out of personality for any young version of Ben, if anything I’d imagine Ben from Gwen 10′s timeline would instead lean more into melee fighting or using Plumber tech.

While I’m working on my stupid projects that I never seem to finish you guys can have some Alternate BenRexs.

1. No Watch and No Nanite are so in love it’s disgusting. 2. Two boys who hate the universe just found actual joy in each other.  3. The 23′s are talking about how love is gross and how they’re never gonna fall in love…which was a lie.  4. The fact that a slowly decaying corpse is completely entranced by an another decayed corpse completely disgusts Bad Ben. Benzarro has no idea why Rexzarro is always grabbing onto him and squealing “He's so adorable” all the time.  5. THIS IS A KIDS SHOW, BAD!!

Also, in terms of 'another Ben' he's not an alternate dimension version like Nega, Bad, Mad, Benzarro, 23, ect. But he still gets included in being a 'Ben' of some kind, and I'd say unfairly so. Let Albey be himself again 😭

EXACTLY!!!! ABSOLUTELY!!! 100% DUDE!!!!!

I actually personally find Mad the second least interesting behind Benzarro(I'm just not a zombie fan personally), so it's a tad unfortunate to me that he got his own two part season finale. However, getting to see Mad Rook(😍😍😍😍😍) and having brotherly Ben 23 and Prime Ben moments was nice.

And it sucks that little Albedo barely had any moments. I can't even recall him really saying much, if anything at all either 😔. And Bad seemed like the leader of the group considering he got the most lines out of the 'evil' alternate Bens. So it would have made more sense to flesh him out more, but instead we got Australian Mad Max Ben... Maybe they just had stuff for him far more fleshed out than with the others so that's why his dimension got to be in the two parter. It would've been cool if all Malruant's pieces were in their dimensions tho. Not just Mad's dimension, Dos Santos, and wherever the other one is cuz I haven't finished rewatching season 8 yet and can't remember what specifically happens in the next couple episodes. Even if the other dimensions besides Mad's only got one epiaode to themselves its still would've been SOMETHING.

But anyway, Nega's my fave with Bad being my second fave of the group so I REALLY wished there was more of those two specifically. And Nega has a really good design to me and I liked it when he talked!!!! I want more of him!!! I love him very much!!! What we know about his dimension is also super interesting to me! And a little piece of me wishes Bad and Nega talked to each other. I think they would make a great duo. I wanna see what kind of chaos they would sow! How they might be able to bond!!!!!!! The jerkass and the emo, please! I want it! I beg for it!!!!
