i was cleaning my folders and I found this comic from two years ago.

it was sort of a way to let out the bubbling feelings inside my chest about having a tight group of friends who cared about me as much as I care about them :]

when we didn't know much of Mika I kinda hoped he'd clash with Bennett a bit since we know how his bad luck can affect relationships (ex-team members) so I was awaiting a playable character who wasn't as forgiving with him? no, I don't hate Mika or want him to be a bully towards Bennett I just wanted to lean into how I originally imagined him with how he's more experienced and mature due to being away with Varka causing him to turn into a bit of a smartass? it just seems like a fun dynamic especially if we add some history with Mika and Bennett being good friends as kids but while Mika succeeds Bennett fails and adapts -> they grow apart especially since Mika goes away? Aaa I could do so much with this AU

I wanted to draw Bennett in Diluc's outfit Red Dead of Night. Benny probably thinks he's cool. He's still just a lil geeky dude. I like to think Diluc took Benny under his wing to help him control his vision. I think a teacher/family relationship between him and Diluc is sweet. But, I never wanna see Red Dead of Night ever again my god
