Small summary: It's hard to discern if she wishes to distract her for her own amusement or to inform her to go to bed. Either way, Izumi finds it difficult to focus on her work late at night.
A/N: This is just a small blurb of a Kyazumi headcanon that is sitting in my head. It's mostly playful but will put keep reading just in case. If you aren't comfortable reading it, then skip over it. I don't mind.
“Kya, I love you,” Izumi said, shifting slightly in the Waterbender's hold, eyes trained on the documents.
“I know,” Kya agreed, her kissing her neck lightly, “and I love you as well.”
“Then may I please finish my work?” She asked, shoulders slumping.
“No.” She relied.
“‘No’? I have to finish this by tomorrow afternoon.”
“You can finish it tomorrow morning.”
“It's an important trade agreement and—”
“And a healthy sleep schedule was our agreement, Zumi.” She cut her off, kissing the under side of her jaw.
“I know I promised you that, but…” she attempts a rebuttal but Kya cuts her with another kiss. She felt her resolve slipping.
“You promised me you'd stop breaking promises.” She said, pausing to kiss her ear. “Bed, darling.”
“Ten more minutes.”
“Bed.”
“Five more.”
“Bed.”
“Two—”
Kya captured her lips, feeling her melt against her. She leaned back, repositioning herself for her, fingers carding through her hair.
She leaned back from the princess, grinning. “Bed, then?”
Izumi sighed. “Very well. You made a substantial argument.”
“I always do.”

At this point I’m gonna make an AU, but Lilith just quietly staking out or patrolling for the CATTs because old habits die hard. At one point Luz crawled up onto the roof to join her. She was very concerned and urged her to go back to bed.
“I wanna help!” Luz insists. “I can help!”
“No, Luz.” She said, shaking her head. “You aren’t old enough for this. Nor are you trained for this.”
“Come on!” She protested. “Isn’t it lonely up here? By yourself?”
“I am used to it. Now go before Eda comes.” She turned back to the forest.
“No!”
She sighed as soon as she realized it was a losing battle. She really was Eda’s kid. By blood or not.
“Very well,” she said, not glancing to her, as she patted to the spot next her.
Luz squealed excitedly, as she sat next her, gazing at the forest and parts of Bonesbourgh behind it.
She handed her a quill and some scrolls silently. Her niece took them in her hand.
“Do I take notes or…?” She asked, glancing up at Lilith.
“Yes.” Her aunt answered automatically. “Steve will send us coordinates that I will hand to Darius. You will write the coordinates down as I say them, alright?”
She salutes. “You got my word.”
They observe quietly together.
They bond like this. Lilith tells her the coordinates based off of morse code vis flashes of light in the forest. Luz finds that Lilith morphed back somewhat to the Coven Head she was, cold, focused and decisive. It worries her.
Luz falls asleep at some point next her, so Lilith keeps watch alone. Eda eventually pops her head up, as she finds Luz curled by Lilith’s side.
“I told her she isn’t fit for a stake out.” Lilith said, not bothering to glance back to her, busy jotting down information. “I suppose she gets the determination and defiance from you.”
“Heh…yeah,” Eda said, as she stepped onto the roof. “Yeah, I guess she does. Lately I’ve come to regret it…”
“It hasn’t stopped you, has it?” She questioned.
“I guess not, but I’m not stupid.” She countered.
“I never said nor implied that.”
She hums, as she walks over to Luz, gently stroking her hair. The girl shifted slightly, shivering.
“It would be beneficial to take her downstairs to rest where it’s warm. It’s too cold for her.” Her sister suggested.
“What about you?” She asked, glancing her stony expression.
“I’ll be fine. She needs you more.” She answered calmly.
“You need to rest, Lily.” She protested, frowning.
“Yet we need the information.” She argued, as she wrote on the paper. “Besides, it takes me hours to sleep compared to you.”
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“Edalyn, I think I recall your endless tossing and turning when we’re kids. While you were always asleep, I always heard your turning every night.”
“Oh…” she blinks before glancing at Luz. “I always knew I was loud when I slept because of the…you know…”
She paused her writing, tightly gripping the quill. She was so stupid.
“I’m sorry—I didn’t mean that. I meant—.” She stammered, breaking her from the forest. “I didn’t mean to insinuate your nightmares, I only meant before it before the…the curse…”
“Hey, it’s ok.” She said softly. “I’m sure you didn’t mean it.”
“…Take Luz downstairs, Edalyn.” She sighed, her shoulder dipping slightly. “I will see you in the morning.”
“Lily—.” She attempts to argue.
“Now, Eda.” She states firmly.
The younger witch sighed, as she scooped Luz in her arms before standing.
“Try not staying up too late.” She whispered, as she turned towards the hatch.
“I’ll try.” The elder sibling replied quietly.
The two left her to her post, as she went back to decoding messages, the sounds of quill scratching against the paper filled the air.
Luz always attempts to go back up, apologizing for not helping but Lilith assures her it’s fine and that rest is important. That’s it takes time for the body to adjust and that she shouldn’t worry over it.
I don’t know, I just thought of a scene, then it became multiple scenes called Rooftop Conversations. I don’t know if anyone is interested in the others, it may break canon with Hunter and Darius interactions, Hunter and Lilith interactions, the Current Hexside gang chilling on the roof to keep Hunter company.

Look, I wanna think Lilith doing archery is cool, but then I make myself laugh because I can’t help but imagine her in training. How Lilith explains how she chose the sword as her weapon to because it suited her elegance and grace, but really it’s because they switched her from archery.
The drill sergeant didn’t believe she was blind as a mole, and put a bow and arrow in her hands before telling her to hit the target ten feet away.
She missed.
She missed every time.
“Did I hit the target?” She asked.
The drill sergeant stared at all the arrows on the ground three feet away from them and no where near the target.
“Uh, sir?” She asked, lowering the bow.
“Yeah…?” He asked, still floored.
“Did I hit the target?”
“We’re moving you to sword training, Clawthorne.”
“Pardon?”
“For yours and everyone’s safety.”
Even after she has her vision temporarily fixed with a spell for a day everyday—or however the fandom does it—it wasn’t good to have take up archery. By that point she was really loving sword fighting and became very dedicated, she saw no point in switching to archery.
My brain thought Lilith would look col as an archer, but then I remembered this woman wears glasses and probably can barely see well in long distances, so she probably would miss. Every. Time. Then I thought she might do well in close quarters combat and could decently dodge anything coming straight at her. She’s very good at dodging arrows as she uses the teleportation ability fluidly.

Question of Authority.
A little blurb I made.
“Coven Head Snapdragon,” Lilith said, as she calmly walked towards the two. “Is there something wrong?”
“Not at all, child. This Scout has agreed to assist me on mission.” Snapdragon replied, smiling as she tightened her grip on the young Scout.
The Scout straightened. “Yes, Coven Head Snapdragon.”
The younger Coven Head frowned. “As you know Coven Head Snapdragon, Scout selection is prohibited without the proper paperwork and approval by me.”
“Oh nonsense!” She chuckled, waving her hand in the air. “Isn’t that tedious with your busy schedule, child? Surely it would be faster if I handle it my—” A scroll appeared before her.
“We have processes for a reason, Madam.” She said, primly, as she clasped her hands behind her back. “Have this filled out accordingly so I may make preparations for a squadron for you and meet the necessary requirements for your mission. We will bring those experienced and fitted for the task.”
The Scout blinked before bowing. “I apologize, Coven Head Clawthorne. I had no idea—”
“That is quite alright, Scout,” she said, glancing briefly to them. “You are to report to Scout Curran for Squadron assignment. Now go.”
“Of course, Coven Head Clawthorne.” The Scout saluted before leaving.
Lilith nodded before turning back to Coven Head Snapdragon. She inhaled and exhaled before meeting her gaze.
“I don’t appreciate you ignoring the rules and regulations, Coven Head Snapdragon.” She states, ignoring her glare. “We have them situated to make sure things run efficiently as possible and you picking out Scout isn’t hel—”
“Listen here, child,” the elder Coven Head said lowly, as she closed to gap. “You will not lecture me on “regulations”, do you understand?”
“I am the Head of the Emperor’s Coven as well as—”
“Yet you never were chosen…”
“I was chosen. I won the duel with—”
“Did you though?” She asked quietly, as she clasped a strand of ger hair. “You weren’t the one who was wanted…I’ve seen your sister, she was and still is twice as strong as you. You lack the sharpness needed to lead the Emperor’s Coven. You spend all your time trying to catch the Owl Lady, and yet she constantly evades you. I honestly wonder why you’re even here, child.”
“The Emperor chose me to be Coven Head and if you have any problems bring it up with him.” She snapped defiantly, as the tips of her ears flush as she glared at her.
“I believe he already does know about the problems, Child.” She walked passed her, hands clasped behind her. “The question is…how many more failures will he accept before you’ve lived your usefulness.”
She stood there, gazing at the floor as the echo of heels filled the hallway as the Plant Coven Head left her be.
I like to think Snapdragon was disappointed when it was the older Clawthorne sibling that was selected for the Emperor’s Coven. She wasn’t surprised when she heard Eda refused to fight in the Witch’s Duel, but disappointed when the younger Clawthorne continued to choose not to seek what she wanted. Now there’s a second rate that lacks any drive or skill leading the Emperor’s Coven. She never questioned the Emperor’s decisions in all the years she’s been the Plant Coven Head, but this one has her uncertain.
This blurb was originally a part of a longer post, but it made the post too long, so I cut it and made its own post.

As mentioned in this answer, I promise to explain the Elsewhere and Elsewhen AU one day.
That day is today.
After help Philip get what he wanted, Luz asked what it was and wanted to see it. Philip tells her no and tries to hold it out of reach. Luz is determined to keep asking what it’s for and tries to take it which provokes him.
“We wanted to get to know you and you nearly got us killed!” She said, reaching for it. “I thought you were some cool explorer, but your a jerk!”
“An unhand me you insolent, girl!” He snapped, raising his arm.
In a blur, Luz felt a hand pull her back as she watched Philip be held in a chokehold by her…aunt, as she wraps an arm around his neck while she applied pressure on his leg.
“It is wise to hit a child, so I suggest re thinking your action.” Lilith said lowly in his ear, tightening her grip slightly.
“You insolent witch!” He hissed, as he grabbed at her arm. “Who do you think you are?!”
“Her cool aunt.” She answered, as she let go of him, tossing him aside.
She turned to Luz. “Come, Luzura, we’re done…here…Are you alright, Luzura?”
Luz stood in front of them, frozen in shock as she vacantly stared at Lilith. Her heart pounded in her chest, as she trembled.
“Luzura?” She asked, as she tried approaching her. “Luz, are you ok? Is something wrong? Luz, you can—.”
“Please don’t hurt me!” Luz shouts, stumbling back.
She halts, glancing at her then Philp, as he shifted back from them when she realizes what she meant. She slowly reached out to her.
“Luz, I’m not going to hurt you,” she said softly, gazing at her. “I promise, I never meant to…”
“Y-you had the s-same look…” she stammered, as she shuffled back at bit. “The look back on the bridge when..when you threw me off to fight Eda.”
She frowned, dropping her hand. “I’m sorry…I’m so sorry about that.”
There was a brief silence as Luz attempts to regain composure, but she feels her body tense—wishing to run as far away as she could.
Sure there wasn’t much hostility, but she couldn’t help the creeping fear that engulfed her like it had back the bridge a month ago.
“Would you?” She asked, as she gazed at her steadily, as the woman remained crouched away few feet away from her.
The elder witch turned her gaze from the spot she was staring at, tilting her head. “Would I what?”
“Would you…” the girl takes a breath, “…would you have killed me if Eda didn’t yield?”
“Luzu—.” She started, closing her eyes.
“Be honest!” She snapped, her gaze hardening.
“No, no I would never kill a child.” She answered. “I wouldn’t go that far.”
“You wouldn’t go that far? So you’re saying you’ve killed people before?” She shifted further away. “Of course you could have, I don’t think that look comes naturally.”
“I have…done a lot terrible things, Luz. I have seen my fair share of deaths over my career. It was never easy, but yes the look did come over time.” She explained, as she gazed at her hands—recalling the countless times her gloves had been smeared with blood over the years. “He called me the Snow Raven because he told me Ravens represented death. Said it would be fitting for the Elite Guard, his hand, his fist for those who went against him.”
Luz sat there, frowning at the explanation, imagining Lilith as a stone cold assassin for Belos. A shiver went down her spine. “Would you do it again? If you wanted or needed to, could you take another life?”
“I don’t want to,” she sighed, as she gazed at her, eyes filled with regret. “Edgar wouldn’t want me to. They were upset at me when I nearly threw you off the bridge. Said I was insane for even wanting to do that.”
“That explains why they’re so affectionate with me.” She said softly, as she glanced back the Raven Palisman, who perched on the Stonesleeper.
“They have many regrets.” She nods. “They do want a new life, a life without violence. Isn’t that right, Edgar?”
Edgar squawks in confirmation.
“You and them have a lot in common.” Luz said, as she stood up from the dirt. “And we have a lot in common, Edgar. We both agree you shouldn’t kill anyone. Ever again.”
“I won’t—.”
“Promise me you won’t.” She states firmly, gazing at her. “Promise me you’ll leave it behind. Promise yourself you won’t ever do it again.”
“I promise.” Lilith promised, as she stood. “I don’t to do it again and I honestly I hope I won’t ever have to do it again. I especially don’t want to hurt you again, Luz.”
She glanced from her to the ground, as she contemplated. “I hope we could work to that.”
Without another word, the Luz hopped back onto the Stonesleeper while Lilith followed next to them.
‘Way to ruin an excursion, Lils.’ Lilith thought, as she walked. ‘Like you ruin everything thing else in your life.’

A/N: This was supposed to be short…but I couldn’t help myself. Before you ask, yes, this could fit in the Let Lilith be Badass AU. The more I thought of the Elsewhere and Elsewhen AU, it went from being comedic to being angst and character reflection driven. I think Lilith and Luz deserve a discussion about what happened on the bridge, and Luz probably panicking if she were to ever see Lilith in a fight or attack someone. Falling off a bridge and nearly dying while looking at a cold expression of your mentor’s sister is traumatizing. I don’t think it gets talked about enough and I am a sucker for character interactions as well as dynamics.
This isn’t a Luz hating thing, she has rights to be somewhat cautious of Lilith if she ever saw her go into fight mode. Also if she ever found out about her suggesting to kill the Coven Heads in the Day of Unity AU, she would be disappointed in her because she broke her promise.
I also think their bond should be done more slowly and with care to be built up. I liked the actual episode, but I kind of wish they reflected on how they started and how they ended up over the course of a month.
I am open to asks if anyone wants to. I have deep headcanons for Lilith post EC that I love thinking about sometimes. Have a nice day/evening.

Lilith didn’t recognize her growth spurt until her squad mate pointed it out.
“No longer a short stack anymore, eh, short stack?” Shea asked, pressing her finger on forehead.
“Huh?” Lilith blinked, she glanced up at her. She didn’t understand, the woman was taller than her, how was she supposed to tell?
“You grew over night, Lils.” She said, stepping back to grin at her.
“I told you to stop calling me that, Kelli.” She muttered, glaring at her. No calls her that. Not anymore.
“What do you say, Jasiri?”
“Hm?” The tall man glanced from his bunk. “A foot and a few inches?”
“That’s what I thought too.” The auburn haired woman flashed another grin. “Don’t worry, Clawthorne, you’re still a short stack to me.”
Lilith was slowly getting used to her squad mates at the time when she got her growth spurt. Shea tries any nickname to call her much her annoyance, though she strictly tells them Lily and Lils are extremely off limits.
I just had this worming in my brain as I wanted to explore their dynamic as a trio. I may be itching to do a prompt list ask game if anyone is interested.

“Help! Please someone help me!” Eda cried.
The door jiggle open, as the hooded man appeared, hands on his hips while light seeped in behind him.
“What is it, Owl Lady?” He sighed, glaring at her.
“Oh please, you gotta help my sister.” She said, frantically waving her arms. “She’s lactose intolerant you see and whenever she eats off dairy, chunks go a flying.”
“Yeah right,” he grumbled, crossing his arms. “Haven’t you caused enough trouble today?”
“No, I’m serious, fella.” She protested, gestures to the corner. Her eyes glanced to a figured who hid behind the door. “Come and look for yourself.”
He sighed and walked to the cot in the corner, seemingly turned away from them.
“Hey.” He called, as he stood there. “Get up.”
He got no response.
“I said get up!” He snapped, as he took a step closer. “What’s your prob—?”
Before he could finish, an arm wrapped itself around his neck while a hand held the back of his head. He grasped the arm to try to get it off, stumbling backwards, but the hold tightened and a sharp pain surged from his leg through out his body. An audible snap echoed through the cell.
“Ergh…L-let go you bitch!” He grunted, stumbling as his leg buckled under him.
He didn’t receive a response, as she squeezed him further. Eda watched him start to grow more frantic as his breath hitched, squirming in her sister’s hold. Her stomach grew cold, as he tried vainly to free himself while Lily stood there with a cold expression. Then slowly, the guard’s limbs fell limp beside him, eyes rolled back as his head tilted to the side.
“Oh my Titan…” she whispered, as she watched her release him. “Is…Titan, Lily, did you kill him?!”
“No,” she answered casually, as she sets the guard down gently, taking a moment to check a moment for his pulse. “He’ll live. Besides, there are more effective ways to do that.”
A portion of a blurb that is apart of a longer post about their strained and ruined friendship. I want to test if it could be addressed in a more serious matter because I think their dynamic is interesting but it’s mostly treated secondary to the plot or is comedic with soft moments sprinkled between. I just like doing hypotheticals.
