          this wasn’t real , there was no way - - - yet it was and noah couldn’t believe it - or he could but he can’t wrap his head around it . they had just been detained for 24 hours by some group that isn’t supposed to exist - but do ?! and to hunt the supernatural . “ this really does sound like something out of a movie or a book . “ he says to the girl next to him the minute they were allowed to leave . and that was only after they had both agreed to beiing part of said organizations . “ so do you think everythiing is real now ? because when they were talking about la llorona . . . this isn’t real , is it ? “ he kept asking her , as if the other would know the answers , and as much as he was doubting it . . . noah knew the answer was yes , it was all very much real considering the two of them were almost killed by a ghost .

it was so TYPICAL of her to find herself in this s i t u a t i o n again, part of her pining after someone she knew she could never have and another part of her eating herself up over the fact that she could even see someone in a romantic way after what had happened with jaehyun. she could feel herself slipping away again, and she knew that under no c i r c u m s t a n c e s she could allow herself to get back in that head space. she had to keep whatever she thought she was feeling for the boy hidden away in her CAGED HEART, hoping that the d a r k n e s s of their enclose would cause the flames for jinhwan to burn out. she hated how cryptic the boy could get, although she was a somewhat fluent speaker she still found herself struggling with the language barrier - this time however his words were p e r f e c t l y clear, but they made no sense to her whatsoever. it was a constant haze of confusion and miscommunication between the two of them, and he was only adding onto that - she had enough question marks besides her feelings as it was. allowing herself to rest her head on his shoulder she pursed her lips, her eyes resting on the sunset ahead of them and her feet d a n g l i n g off of the roof of the building. ‘ i suppose it will, yeah. ’ she tried to ignore the FAINT SPARK OF HOPE at the idea of his words meaning their relationship - that maybe he too felt what she felt, and that maybe one day the time would be right.

“i can’t be around you.”

it had been TENSE between the two of them for a while now, there had been no other way to explain their s i t u a t i o n. it was as if they had been building up to this moment for the past year and now that it had come neither of them knew what to do with each other. where they would normally be kind and understanding towards each other they now were bickering and glaring - it was slowly causing the girl to fall apart, however she wasn’t going to let him now - he couldn’t know that it was breaking her to bottle up everything she was feeling. the girl was so SCARED that there was going to be one day where she wouldn’t been able to handle it anymore, that there would be a day where the liquid holding her every single drop would start leaking, starting a river she couldn’t stop from flowing. she had been there o n c e, and she knew how that had ended, there wasn’t a doubt in her mind that she had to do whatever she had in her to p r e v e n t that from happening again - not sure whether it was out of SELF PROTECTION or care for the other, either way she couldn’t allow either of them to be hurt like that again. the look on her face fell at his words, as hard as she tried she was unable to keep a straight face, or have a lock on her e m o t i o n s. why did she always have to get so involved ? why did she always fall for people she couldn’t be with ? ‘ what the fuck ? ’ the PROFANITY leaving her lips was so beyond unlike her, but there was no way to keep it in. ‘ what is that supposed to mean ? ’ her brows were frowned and she couldn’t bare to look at him as t e a r s were starting to form in her eyes. ‘ nevermind. if you want to go then just go. nothing is keeping you here. ’

“then you tell me why.”

it had been two years - precisely on the dot, two years since she had last seen him living and breathing, since she had last felt okay. the world had seemed to STOP when she realized what day it was, the sky had turned pitch black and all she could see and hear was him, him, and him. there wasn’t a n y t h i n g she could do to make this go away, her coffee and flowers mentality soon LEAVING her as it was getting harder and harder for her to control her breathing. it wasn’t unusual for her to get panic attacks, but this was on a new level - it was choking up and heart palpations, it was tears streaming down her face and colliding to the floor with trembling hands. it surprised her when she had been able to even get up and open the door, shocked at the fact that jinhwan had been standing there, completely unannounced. his reaction was anything she had thought it would be, having been in a s i m i l a r situation previously but it was in no way helping her calm down - her regular breathing had returned to her but there was no stopping the tears from f l o w i n g. he had been speculating as they were sitting on the floor, huddled up together, she just kept shaking her head in RESPONSE - that was when he asked the one question he had hoped he wouldn’t, one she didn’t want to answer, one secret she couldn’t bare for him to know. however, she wasn’t able to keep it from her, not wanting to lie to jinhwan. ‘ two years ago, i k i l l e d my boyfriend - well .. my sister’s boyfriend, i dont know -- i don’t know what he was to me. ’ jinah took a deep breath, trying to collect her thoughts. ‘ we were on our way home from a date and we c r a s h e d off a bridge.. he didn’t make it. ’ she could feel herself fall back into the anxiety, back into the panic she had been in earlier. ‘ it was my fault, i asked him to go with me because my sister wasn’t going to be home - i killed him. i’m so sorry, i know you must hate me now, i’m so sorry. ’

          a night out isn’t a foreign concept to miss kylie castillo . in fact , you can pretty much catch her at a club almost every night - - - except this night is special considering it was her birthday . as as much as she loved to spend her birthday with family , she was too far away from chicago to do so . that’s a weekend problem . right now ky was just going to have a fun night with a bunch of strangers - - -  but most importantly , her best friend . with a drink in her hand , she was already standing on top of the table that stood in the middle of the booth . of course the club played one of the songs she was featured on banana .  kylie downed the rest of her drink , tossing the cup to the side , extending her arms towards margo to pull her up on the table with her . “ i love you ! “  she squeals happily - - - a little bit sloppy with the alcohol running through her.

those were the first words daesung heard as he answered the call from jin. worry was the first feeling that washed over him, while questions began to circulate. had something happened? was there a reason as to why he had said that? trying not to sound too worried, daesung spoke in a calm voice, “what makes you say that? did something happen? t a l k to me.”

          SHE WAS SO selfish and the worst part was that she knew, a little too well, what she did to him. and honestly? she LIKED it. there was something empowering in its own, sickening way to have him come back, to hold someone like HIM in her hands, much too fragile for her to handle with care ( her ribcage was a shipwreck, her heart staked in a million places, blood tainted, hands c o l d ). but she wasn’t doing any of them any FAVORS — she was growing attached to the attention, and he wasn’t about to let go. «i HAVE to,» weak voice responded as she faced the male, desperation evident in her eyes. «this would NEVER work. and i don’t WANT you.» it took all she had to push him away like that, but jinhwan’s hands were scorched enough from playing with fire, and sohyun had no LIGHT left. «trust me, jin. you don’t WANT me either.»

She’s dreaming again. Her apartment is filled with smoke and her vision is blurry. There’s this white noise in her ears and Sora can’t stop coughing as she desperately tries to find a window but they’re all locked, only this time someone makes her wake up, this time she doesn’t see a body. It’s okay.  A voice is calling her name. Eyes snap open and the dim lights of the room in the firestation force her to squint, she brushes the crumbs off her shirt and reminds herself not to drink so much, but it’s only then that she spots Jin running into the room. getting up, she rubs her eyes, adjusting to the light and  looking down at her phone screen, ‘10 missed calls’. Looking up to finally meet his gaze. “Jin....what are you doing here?”
