i like the idea of percy using his abilities to like scratch away at the surface when he’s facing an enemy… and eventually something breaks past the surface and he realises he can latch onto the blood or ichor in his foe… and it feels good.

Not too surprising that my latest prompt, "epic", would yield this particular result in the poll, considering this scene happened quite a short time ago. Here's our Patreon artwork for the past month, I took a bit longer to post it due to Glaze and Nightshade taking too much time, but here we are.

I've said it a few times, but... this was goddamn cathartic to draw, not because of the scene itself, but because I channeled my emotions regarding real life events into how I depicted Azula's rage. I very much worked on this while watching from afar as my country fights for its freedom and finally is in a promising position to seize it, even if all attempts are being blocked by the tyrannical government in charge, unsurprisingly. So... I find myself more than a little spread out lately, my mind all over the place, eager for any tidbit of news that tells me it's finally ended for the better. It hasn't yet. Only time will tell what the outcome of this particular mess will be...

It's that much nicer to actually know the script and be aware of where things are going, huh? Gladiator's going into a pretty high tension stage, and we're on our way to the story's biggest climax. May my country find a conclusion that fills me with the same hope I can nowadays write into Gladiator's upcoming chapters... and may you all enjoy this piece as well, intense and wild as it is.

Bcuz i think thst if they do It would be such a cool interaction for sokka (and zuko' too but i think mostly sokka since ✨watertribe✨) and Hama since Hama was Stolen from the S.WT and then locked up for the rest of her life in the FN ship and theu could "bond" over it so Sokka also has a connection w Hama other than only hama n Katara (like in Canon) and then later on when She bloodbends him and theres a whole ass betrayal and he feels betrayed by her bcuz they have such familiar experiences snd when she gets taken out he just fucking breaks donw snd more trauma yayyyyyy

Today was the last DND session for a three-year campaign and I am big sad :(

One of the players brought whiskey for a last toast, which was very kind of them. I had never had whiskey before. Turns out I do not like whiskey. Unsurprising.

When Vlad is in the Ottoman Empire, he wakes up to Fajr every dawn. I found some information that some Muslims wake up to pray Fajr and then sleep until it is time to work, whereas others sleep continuously until work time and pray Fajr upon awakening. But I also think the day naturally begins very early in a structured environment like the Ottoman court or military training, so he and Radu are woken up early, made to dress, and start their routine. The Ottomans want to instill discipline in the young boys, so this would be one of the good ways to do so.

Because Vlad spends six-seven years in this rhythm — waking at dawn, exercising, then following a strict schedule — his body naturally adjusts to this routine. Even after he leaves the Ottomans, this habit stays with him. He even kind of embraces it because he finds that early mornings are the best time for strategy, solitude, physical training. Not only is this his “me-time” and a form of mental hygiene, it also helps him stay productive and disciplined. By the time he is ruling Wallachia for the second time, he naturally wakes up just before or around dawn without needing anyone to wake him.

Also, in summer, he most likely wakes up slightly after dawn (since the sun rises earlier), but in colder months, he is already up while it is still dark outside. If nothing forces him awake or he feels particularly self-indulgent, he lingers a bit in bed, but his natural instinct is to rise early and start the day.
