So in the meantime, I’ll just embaress myself and explain my headcanon. (Ignoring, btw, the nature of Middle-Earth completely)

To business: I don’t even know if I would call her an OC, as she really is a textual ghost, so 🤷🏻‍♀️

She was born at Cuiviénen as the younger sister (probably, may have been a cousin instead) of Lenwë, growing up in the time just after the chaining of Melkor (or so I think, I still have to wrap my head around the canonical timeline of that), when Oromë tried to convince the Elves to leave Middle-Earth, as there were still foul things foraging the woods. Still she would often sneak away without permission and talk to the trees and learn, from early childhood on, of plants that could bring healing. She learned this from the very forest itself and thus became a healer at a very very young age. Her family did not approve of her wanderings (understandably) and she’d get into a lot of trouble for it, which didn’t bother her in the slightest. When weapons became a thing, she mastered archery before nearly anyone else. The very first taste of why wandering the woods might be a bad idea came when she returned one day from an archery competition she’d let the others talk her into to the subdued whispers of her larger family. “Oh, this is horrible. The poor boys!” “What about their youngest? Elmo’s only a baby, after all!” “Have the Quendi ever let their orphans starve?” “No, but there’s more to raising a child than just feeding it!”

Not that that had held her back. She relied on all the sentinent beings warning her, their friend, of any danger. Still, the baby boy who had lost his parents to the hunting Shadows that day stayed in her mind. First there was pity. Then, when Elmo got older and more and more was talked about leaving, there came friendship. She could make him laugh when no one else could break through his fear. And he didn’t warn her against her wanderings, but listened eagerly to her lectures (for which she would be called a know-it-all by the others), his eyes alight with admiration at her skills. And then, slowly, when the Quendi had indeed left the place of their awakening, a tender love grew out of that friendship. She knew long before him, even forsook her family, who left with Lenwë, for that love, a love as yet unanswered. But friends they remained and so she was the first Elmo went to for help (she, after all, could not only talk to the forest but get it to answer in a way that was actually useful) when desperately looking for his oldest brother. That they didn’t find Elwë, I need not explain (the forest simply turned deaf whenever she asked, which was… odd). What they did find, though, was that really, they were meant for each other (she did her very best not to think ‘oh, you’ve noticed at last, beloved?’). The memory of what followed was not one of her fondest. All the chaos and desperation and unease. She hated watching Elmo quarreling with Olwë over what to do, only to later bid him farewell, heartbroken. There was joy in those days too, though, as she bore Elmo a son not long after Olwë had left, whom they called Galadhon for her love of the trees. And then, of course, Elwë indeed returned with the reason for all this, and as much as she wanted to murder her brother-in-law for all the pain he had inflicted upon Elmo (though, admittedly, that would have been counterproductive), she could not help but join the others’ joy, for she knew at once that those two were just as deeply in love as she and Elmo were. What was more, she rather liked Melian from the start and the sisters-in-law quickly became the best of friends. She rejoiced, too, as her nephew Denethor joined them with his people (her kin). Living in paradies lasted long, but not forever. Galadhon, who by that time had married a girl who was also of the Greenelves, as they were now called and father to two sons, fell in the first battle of Beleriand, and the grief just about killed her, the worst being the fact that she couldn’t even bury her beloved son. All she held on to was the knowledge that she would someday see him again, across the seas. The horror of losing her niece a few hundred years later was even worse for that. She could not even imagine what Melian must feel, a being for whom ’not surviving the grief’ was not an option.

And yet, out of Lúthien’s romance had come something beautiful for her as well, as her grandson Galathil’s daughter had married Dior. They had been overjoyed by the news that Nimloth had given birth to twin-sons and she, her daughter-in-law and Galathil’s wife had decided to visit them. A wonderful decision. To be fair, she only realised AFTER she’d come to, utterly bewildered, to the call to Mandos, that perhaps it hadn’t been. She had been the first to be shot from behind, so had no recollection of her death, but the others told her about the ambush in the end.

Hello! I hope this is not too intrusive to ask, but I was wondering if you could give some general ideas/headcanons you have for the pirate wmftd au? Nothing too detailed or refined is alright

Not intrusive at all! I m still working that fanfic btw, I just keep rewriting it. 😓

So some very small ideas I had so far. I hope you like them.

Ideas that may or may not make it into the pirates AU

Achilles was a rich boy who ran off from his family and up-coming marriage and met Patroclus on the ship run by Chiron ( the genius pirate, well known for his cleverness. Some will call him the father of pirates, his flag will have a centaur with a bow and arrow on it.)

They fall in love after becoming close friends, historians ( most of them, some will try to hide it later on.) will have some of the letters shared between them, they will be known as ‘The Lovers’.

Y/N would still be the child of Achilles and Patroclus, they found him in a lifeboat with a letter attached to his shirt.  He was a sickly baby and close to death but they took him in anyway. He quickly got better under the care of Patroclus, who fell more and more in love with baby Y/N as the days passed.

One night, Patroclus asks Achilles in a quiet, desperate whisper if they could keep the baby. He knew how dangerous their lives were and was willing to give it up for their son.

Achilles agreed because how could he say no to Patroclus? He was able to talk Patroclus into staying on the ship with Y/N. “Our son, my beloved. Let him know the sea as we do.”Achilles whispered back. 

So Y/N grew up on the ship, fighting even when he was young. He was the fighter even when young and quick with his attacks.

He knows the ship by heart, and is the one who makes the most repairs on it. 

He learns how to read and count his numbers by his parents. He enjoys Achilles’ stories of battles and Patroclus taught him how to read the stars.

He quickly became a skilled and feared fighter, and it wasn’t uncommon for people to surrender immediately when finding out he was on the ship. Just as they did for Achilles. 

He will become known as his own legend, ‘The Beast of The Sea’. Due to his clever and ruthless battle tactics. He will later be known as ‘Hypnos’ Beast’ or ‘Hypnos’ Champion’ depending on who is telling the story.

Meeting Hypnos 

So his parents and Charon were both after the same thing, but Charon got there first and took off with the prize.

So without talking to his parents, y/n got the idea to kidnap the youngest brother, which was Hypnos. He took over Hypnos’ ship easily with his own men and was planning on him up for ransom but he didn’t realize how clever Hypnos was. 

Or how pretty, like he saw the other two brothers and they had nothing on Hypnos. Like wtf no one warned him.

To save his brothers, Hypnos will do everything in his powers to lie and trick Y/N.

So a bunch of hiccups and highjinx happens. (Y/n will die before he speaks of the coconut mermaid thing again.)

Slowly they grow close thanks to common enemies and having to learn to work together. And they trusted each other more than anyone, Y/n even more his own parents and Hypnos with his family.

FEELINGS GROW LIKE A LOT. SO MUCH PINING.

Shaman King Elemental  Mikihisa Asakura After some thinking who I’ll publish today I decidet for Mikihisa Asakura, (Look at him smirking because he will be shown today,) Like with Jao, he is the main chara....so a lot of text  

Miki’s childhood -Yoh and Anna came back to their home in Funbari Spa when Anna noticed she is pregnant again. First Hana is happy, he is six here like in the Manga. But later he start to hate Mikihisa from the bottom of his heart. -When Anna was in labor she got kidnapped by a group of gangster, they don’t know why but shout get on the child for some reason. In labor because this was the only moment Anna was weak. They tricked Yo  btw. -Then when they got the baby they should bring it to their boss but Yoh,  Ryu and Anna got them on a roadhouse. -also the spirit of Mikihisa, Yoh’s father was with the baby who screamed, trying to get him calm. When all of them faced each other and baby Mikihisa screamed, Yoh was furios and wanted to kill the man, but his father tried to tell them to stop. He said that Yoh’s second born will have powers to kill all of them in a second, and now in a state of full frightend he would use it to self protect even against his own father. -The man run away and Anna got the kid calm Mikihisa explained a prophesy that Mikihisa is part of. He will grow up to the elemental warrior of Water and that he probably will learn to use this power one day but in a few situation he could probably use it right now without thinking. -To thank his father who now got to heaven Mikihisa was called after him. -The first years Hana often tried to get rid of him, even tried to kill him.  One time they were on holiday at the beach, Miki who trusts and adores Hana followed him to a vacant house at a cliff. He let him play hide and seek, then he set it on fire. Yoh noticed but Miki who was in a cabinet got safed by a water spirit who brought him into a under water cave.- Yoh entered the cave and was happy that his son was fine. -after this Miki became depressed and scared of Fire, the scars on his chest and his face are from 1 bear claw of his fathers neglace by attacking himself in his nightmares. -Yoh then brought him to his old trainings place from the time as a child. He told Miki that he would be able to control the Water so he must never fear the fire.It took quite a while to get the stubborn scared kid to believe his powers but he found it. Also the spirit from before, a swandragon named Toyo tama a god of the see. -Toyotama:  Toyotama is based on the Pokemon Lugia, you see when I first designed them 14 years ago the elemental warriors got Pokemon as spirits. And as one of my fave he got Lugia, Toyotama’s name herself is based on the creature Lugia is based of, or more his daughter. She is the elemental spirit of Water and feels enamored to Miki, like all elemental spirits because there souls are connected. -Her home and Miki’s first Oversoul is the Okarina shell(also based on the Pokemon movie) - He is able to play it. As kids he and his friends communicate with to know the next attacking move. -later he and Hana became friends. -Miki’s present -Current Miki is 16 right now,(I finaly found my notes again >3> ) He is in school and wishes for a more interesting live. -That’s when a letter came in, he opens it and got the note to come to Egypt, we need you for help to solve a puzzle! We get you a strong spirit if you come. -He then traveled to the place in Egypt, meeting Jao for the first time and also the other Elemental Warrior, to his surprise the daughter of Horohoro  and Tamao is one of them too. .- To my Elemental Warrior themselves, I created them along before I knew that  Yoh and the boys were elemental warrior too.I only knew the tv show back then. Also which chara got which power I decided back then when I was 12-14 -Jao then explains them the plan of finding 7 slab-lined, they would find them at the place they found their elemental spirits. He tells them that a evil spirit awoke who take the last spirit seeing persons this power and force all humans to live in a world where he is the leader and god himself. -Thrilled from the speech Mikihisa  wants to do so. But at the same time he hates that feeling, he is like the water, calm on one hand and wild on the other. -He and Pirka(Horo’s daughter) travel back with their ghosts, Jao’s first task to train them. They fly with Toyo over the Nil(the big river….) when they decide to take a swim. Toyo was so happy that she noticed to late the crocodiles who attacked them, crushing Mikihsa’s left arm. -PIrka brought him to a hospital while Hao met with Mikihisa in his half death state. He told him to trust Jao. -Later on there travel they start to fell for each other but short after this it was forgotten. Together with their friends they find the stones, and fighting the enemies army for the first time. -Then they should wait at home. Suddenly a girl appeared named Rika, also one of the Elemental Warriors and Mikihisa’s fionce. They both love each other from the first moment. -Then he and his friends went to Jao’s base in the middle of America to train and get on Missions -He got  the promised spirit  but they are not finaly able to use them jet. -Then he arrives on the battle field were Rika had killed Pirka, his heart filled with hatred he forced her to battle. A battle of pure elemental power, not only that the rain and thounder of the whole earth get out of control also the power to control them inside their bodies. - Rika run away and Mikihisa was broken seeing his childhood friend death in his arms. -Together with Jao they brought her to the Patch village  to operate her. - When suddenly the army of 12 man appeard and destroyed the whole village stealing their souls and spirits. Only a baby survived. -Then they start to feel for each other again but more slowly. -somewhere in this time he propose to Pirka and he fought the enemies again together with Hana. -Also the firs time they  encounter the enemies they lost because of Mikihisa’s rampage when he saw Rika. It was also his fault when some of their group got attacked and Jao was killed. -When later Rika came back he first was angry and still full of hatred even when she knew about a secret why the enemies started to attack the old elemental warrior. -They found out that the  Elemental Spirits, The warriors and their  ghosts where ones in the past of 8000 years one person and an animal spirit. To get their power they had to become one with the elementals. Miki himself got the spirit of Water. He entered the ghost realm to met SoW ��when it broke together and showed a man in his 30’s who looked like him but with a beared and northern Europe cloth. -He said that he was ones the first Water elemental warrior and that Mikihisa should trust his heart even when it was like a raging water or a calm lake. - To full synchronicity with the last spirit then the spirit of Rah they enter hell, like their fathers did. - He finaly could accept that he loves both, even when he can’t love Rika he ones loved her and he is fine as comerade to him, and he loves PIrka from the bottom of his heart and can’t wait for their future, also their adopted Patcheen son Kohaku. -Together with the others they fight at the great spirit to protect Hao. First they loose against  Tabris power to negate. In this  he negates a moment a spirit protected his life. So the moment he was in that cabinet he died from shock and drowned. – He started to disappear when their spirits rescued them. -With new power and the knowledge of the inner elemental bond he fetters the blood  and soul to communicate with the dark spirit, of Tabris. -later Jao safes him when he became the water itself. -years later, he now had married Pirka they own the Funbari Spa letting it get more modern, PIrka and her brother working their and often make singing shows for the people. Both of them love to entertain and sing like their mother, they’re pretty talented. -Their own son is named Yoyuki. A boy who got into a bad accident loosing the power of full control of his leg and needs a lot of time to get up again. -Their other son Kohaku got a fiancé named Lily a orphaned girl who learnes to be a Itako by Anna, later when she is 10 Anna gave letters from their mother to Mikihisa telling him she is his and Rika’s daughter. She couldn’t take care of her anymore because she felt so bad she couldn’t be a good mother for her. She tells them that she couldn’T look into her eyes because she reminds them on his.  But in real Lily got the  eyes of her grandfather Tabris. The elemental warriors have the same eye color as their element. When they loose their power after the fight the eyes got their natural color again. -Mikihisa then had to find her apologizing to her and telling her to come back seeing their daughter. -He finds her in an American town as a singer, but before they can talk he got shoot by a gun accidently at night. Rika who saw it run to him praying that he survived but he had died. -He got rescued from Rika using the electric power of her spirit Raju but she died instead. -Mikihsa then brought her back saying that she was his beloved friend and that he always would take care of their daughter who still doesn’t know who her parents are. And to let Rika’s last wish become true. …Anna, let my daughter became an Asakura please. This is my last wish and my last letter I want her to have a family… other infos -he loves Burgers, playing online games with his friends and music. -like the most teenager he hates his father- something he and Hana have alike -he never hated his brother -he got different tattoos who shows the groups he is into the blue Asakura crest as Water elemental warrior, the white stripes as patcheen and the anch as sign for his last spirit Ra. -he wears green headphones and one bear claw of his father on his ear, also together with one more earring. -He took Harusame what is his  second  O.S. Strength 7/10 Elemental use/power 6/10 Stamina 7/10 Technique 7/10 Intelligence 6/10 Speed 6/10 Spirit Control 10/10 Healing Ability 9/10 Comunication/Team power 10/10 Miki’s biggest weakness is his feelings. He ones said he is like flotsam who swims through water one moment he is calm but when everyone is excited he get’s excited too. He realy hates this about himself. He has healing abilities but isn’t using them so often.

Saw what your "Raccoon" could do with its hands and instantly thought of all the ways he could steal things with it.

Mammon is no longer allowed to pet sit.

He buys it all the latest pet clothes and takes it to casinos for good luck, not of your knowing of course.

This thing knows how to hold cards?!

Be prepared to watch your pet be dressed up in Gucci sunglasses and a leather coat

That leather better be vegan mammon!

He pretends he only likes him for the thieving but you have caught him baby talking it a numerous amount of times.

OHHHHHH this is one excited boy.

He saw one on an anime once and now he believes to his grave that you were the inspiration behind it.

Beel did not know what to make of the small furry rodent raiding his fridge at midnight.

So....he decided petting and eating would be a good option.

And yes he loves watching it eat with their tiny hands.

With belphie gone beel now has a purpose again, somebody to look after. His sleeping habits are the same and they both cuddle to him for warmth

To see your beloved pet you have to practically move into beels room

He built and bought a kitty castle for them and has a raccokn snack drawer and all three of you love happily in heels room....and never leave.

Beel falls in love with you quite early because of this

Sometimes he'll pretend that your pet is their child and play house with you.

The brothers find his obsession quite creepy to be honest

In place of the avatar of sloth he found a doting pet loving human and her sleepy hungry cuddly rodent.

Raccoon hates belphie for what he did to you. He jumped out from the shadows and bit him...repeatedly. he never saw this creature before because you never brought him, totally caught him off guard.

Lan Wangji feels betrayed and guilty. It was his inability to show his husband the love and affection he deserves that made him turn to another. He raises the baby as if it is his own, eventually taking the roll of sect leader when his brother remained in seclusion.

So, there’s no scourge or prophecy in this AU but the war with Nifflheim is still happening. The Oracle is a religious figure, and much beloved by the people, hence why the Empire originally wanted to obtain control over Tenebrae. But lately the Emperor is feeling threatened by Lunafreya.

She’s is beloved by the masses, and though her brother has been indoctrinated, and she lacks any real power, it’s clear she still has a mind of her own. So it’s decided that Luna ought to be replaced with a younger cousin, who has also been indoctrinated and is far easier to manipulate.

It doesn’t matter to them that this girl doesn’t possess the powers of the Oracle. The powers that be in Nifflheim are not religious. They couldn’t care less about the magic’s of the Oracle line. If nothing else, they’ll just have Ravus (who is a beta btw) marry and produce a kid at some point.

But first, Luna must disappear. It will be a tragic accident, or perhaps even a plot by the enemy. Either way she has to go.

And yet, for all that Ravus has been thoroughly brainwashed by the Empire, he still loves his sister above all else. He’s not just going to stand by and do nothing while Luna’s life is in danger.

So, swallowing his pride and hatred for the Lucian King, Ravus secretly makes a deal. Luna is spirited away to Insomnia seeking political asylum. To her it feels a little like abandoning her duties and her people, but (as it’s been since the Niffs invaded years ago) she has little say in the matter.

Life is Terrible for omegas in Insomnia, and in Nifflheim it’s just as bad. The only difference being that the Niffs are open about their cruelty, whereas Lucians like to sugar coat it. Luna can’t tell which is worse.

Luna knows exactly what would have happened to her had she presented as anything other than an alpha. And like Noctis, her status and birthright would not have been enough to save her. But she never would have thought such a thing would have happened to him.

Her magic and status as Oracle is the one thing that Nifflheim couldn’t take form her. It strikes a cord in her, seeing Noctis stripped of his own magic and status as prince. And Luna, well, she knows better than anyone what it’s like to be a prisoner in your own home...

The first time she met Noctis he was a shy, damaged child in a wheelchair. The second time he is a boy still not yet a man, yet he is pregnant and far more damaged, for more broken, than the child she met ten years ago. 

She just can’t understand how this could have happened.

It’s typical alpha behavior to offer food to omegas (to show they are a good provider, someone who can put food on the table), but Noctis won’t eat anything Ignis or Gladio give him.

After everything they’ve done to him, all of Noct’s instincts scream that Ignis and Gladio are unsafe alphas. He physically cannot eat the food they provide, which means he’s not eating period. They’ve started force feeding him, which only causes him more distress and he ends up throwing it all back up again.

Furthermore, Noctis hasn’t been sleeping. How can he when he sandwiched between two unsafe alphas (his captors, his rapists) at night? There isn’t a single place safe from them in his home. He’s trapped in an unsafe home with two aggressive, untrustworthy, dangerous alphas. Sleep is impossible when he’s on high alert at all times.

The pregnancy is hard on his body too. He doesn’t want this baby. It’s little more than a lump of cells, not even a person yet, and he already despises it. To Noct, it’s nothing more than a parasite, slowing draining his life away.

“It’s just hormones.” The so-called experts say. “Everything will be fine once the baby is here.” They diagnose him with prenatal depression, and largely brush it off as being “normal” for omegas experiencing their first pregnancy.

Nevermind that Noctis is miserable, that he’s wasting away. That he has been suffering ever since he presented.

And it’s ironic, but before Noct presented, Ignis and Gladio had actually been good alphas. Ignis made Noct feel cared for, while Gladio made him feel safe. They had a healthy dynamic before. If they just stayed the way they were, then Noct would have felt safe with them, might have even accepted them as his alphas. But they didn’t.

The fact of the matter remains, Noctis is dying, and nothing seems to help (naturally, given their version of “helping” is just to be more abusive and controlling).

As an unmated alpha, Luna would normally never be allowed near Noctis, but as it’s the Oracle’s duty to offer guidance and healing, well...

Luna knows how to navigate a conversation peacefully while holding an unpopular opinion. She knows how to probe and question, without rocking the boat. She’s had a lot of practice after all, though she never thought it’d be like this with the likes of Regis and Noct’s friends...

She’s able to gain access to Noctis, alone, without guards or his alphas hovering threateningly over their shoulders. She’s the Oracle, and an old friend. Who is more trustworthy than her?

The fact that Noctis seems so much better after speaking to her just once helps her case quite a bit too.

Luna is the only person who speaks to Noct looking him in the eye. She doesn’t talk over him, or at him, or to his alphas instead of him. She doesn’t touch him without permission. She doesn’t crowd him and keeps a comfortable distance. She’s the only person who truly sees him; sees whats happening to him and understands it’s wrong.

Luna is a good, safe alpha. More than that, she’s still his friend. Where everyone else abandoned him, Luna did not. Even if it’s only for a few hours every other day, she provides a safe haven.

She tries to undo whatever Regis did to seal Noct’s magic, but is unsuccessful, and Regis isn’t sharing what he knows either. Every time she brings it up, he manages to brush the topis aside. Sometimes he even makes his actions sound quite logical.

But Luna knows it’s not right. One look at Noctis is all it takes to realise the truth. It seems that no one else is willing to truly see him though...

Noctis has been her closest friend and confidant over the years, even when they were apart. She wants so badly to help him, but it seems she’s just as powerless here beside him, as she was when they were separated...

As Noct’s pregnancy progresses, his mood swings violently from one end to the other. With Luna he is almost happy, hopeful even. But at other times he is utterly inconsolable. All the while, the pair grow closer and closer.

They don’t mean to fall into bed together. It just sort of happened. They know what they’re doing is a terrible idea, dangerous even, but it’s difficult deny their feelings. Noct has always provided an escape for Luna, and visa versa, and this is just one more way of escaping from their unhappy lives.

For Luna, she has been trapped in a cage for so long, even now, she’s simply traded her old cage for a somewhat nicer one. For Noct, well if he had no choice but to belong to someone, he’d rather belong to Luna. They both want something that’s entirely theirs.

Still, is dangerous and if they get caught, well, never seeing the other again will probably be the least of their worries...

Noct’s 18th birthday has come and gone. In the past he would have faced it with pride and trepidation for the future for it had meant he was one step closer to being king. Now though, well, there’s very little for him to look forward to...

And while others celebrate, dread begins to fill his entire being as his due date is fast approaching...

the ever blooming hero: chloris

ankou is my most loved oc and the by far the hardest to make for some reason. her and her quirk went through so many changes its insane but i finally settled on something perfect.

she’s currently an active hero having just graduated from u.a. she’s extremely popular and currently number 12 on the hero billboard (shes 19 btw)

ankou quirk is overgrowth aka chlorokinesis - the manipulation of plant life and pheromone generation. (she can do a lot with her quirk so shes my second most op character)

her range is pretty much the same as pixie bob’s earth flow.

ankou was actually a child star, a very popular actress/model. she quit when she graduated to focus on her hero career which is one of the reasons why she’s so popular.

when ankou was in school to was the top u.a. student along with two others (they’re boys so i wasnt able to make them but one day i will)

ankou quirk is actually a combo of her parents her mother has minimal manipulation over plants and her father could manipulate his pheromones

ankou is the older sister type. she’s super kind and caring and protective of people close to her.

she unofficially adopts izuku when she meets him

she also (surprisingly) has a good relationship with bakugou. she treats him like a younger brother and teases him a lot.

ankou is also the type to be really scary when angry

ankou had a really hard time making friends growing up because she couldn’t control her pheromones properly

alot of the times her classmates or even random people would fall in love with her just by her scent or other times end up being despised by it

both of ankou’s parents actually come from hero families. they grew up together since their families knew each other & they were both the youngest. neither of them wanted to be heroes.

ankou’s mother (ririka) is a pharmacist for one of the top hospitals in japan while her father (aizen) is an a-list actor.

side note! ankou’s father aizen took ririka’s last name.

her quirk is miracle blood - the ability to heal others and herself using her own blood. she can manipulate her blood as well. kurena has high regenerative properties as well! as long as her blood is flowing she can heal herself extremely fast.

as you know vlad king (her father) is able to manipulate blood but kurena’s mother was able to heal people with her quirk (empathic healing) which resulted in kurena’s quirk.

kurena is currently a first year at u.a. in izuku’s class.

she’s the tomboy type, tends to get into a lot of fights though she’s actually really mellow and cool.

she’s also the type that if she were to dress as a boy, she’d make a really hot one. (though as a girl she’s super hot too)

she’s recovery girl’s apprentice and helps out alot in the infirmary of the school

deku spends a lot less time there since kurena can heal him lol

she’s actually an “experiment”, the two villains had been working on a way to merge their quirks in the perfect way to make a strong villain - miwa was their current project until she escaped them

miwa doesn’t know how many others came before her or what happened to them when she asked she was told her ‘siblings’ were disposed of.

miwa’s quirk is gunna be the hardest to explain lol the short version is: miwa’s body can mimic and control different elements.

like... full on mimics elements. yknow like and elemental spirit? how it’s just a being made of fire or water or air etc etc? that’s miwa.

i’m actually on the fence about making the elements miwa shifts into to be alters (like she suffers from dissociative personality disorder.) so basically every time she shifts into a different element that element has its own personality? tho maybe it doesn’t even need to be DID it could just be the way her quirk works? SOMEONE GIVE ME INPUT PLS

her mother is a shapeshifter while her father could control elements

miwa was rescued by izuku’s father and then later adopted by him when it was quickly realized she didn’t want anyone else

she grew up with izuku and bakugou. her a bakugou are actually quite close since she’s the first person to beat him in stuff. he likes how strong she is.

miwa is also a pacifist! she had no interest in being a hero (it sounded like more trouble then it was worth) but when bakugou and izuku applied for u.a. she didn’t want to be left alone so she applied.

miwa is a soft bean. she hates violence but is willing to ATTACK when her loved ones are in danger

she’s also in the constant fear that her parents are watching her every move. she feels as if her parents gave her up to easy or staged the hero rescue for a reason. she’s constantly paranoid lol

currently my only villain but don’t worry i plan on making more!

nagi is the only daughter of as prostigious hero family.

the arashi family was known for its variety of powerful weather related quirks and continued to plan marriages based on quirks

the arashi family was also very abusive in its training and pushed nagi through limits she still has nightmares about; the training was due to how volatile nagi’s quirk is. which she was often blamed for

one day nagi snapped and destroyed the arashi family home along with everyone inside she was on the run for awhile before dabi found her

at that point i guess he was already apart of the league of villains? i’m not sure when dabi joined tho so this is just me guessing

nagi’s quirk is storm - nagi is able to create storms and manipulate them! it’s an extremely violate quirk that almost got her killed when she first manifested it. it’s the reason her training was so grueling. nagi needs moisture in order for her quirk to work

and while thunderstorms are something she can make she can’t actually control the lightning; not because it’s not apart of her quirk but because lighting is tricky to control in itself

she wields a katana that acts as a conduit for the lightning

when nagi does try to control the lightning more often than not it backlashes onto herself creating wounds/scars on her body in the shape of lightning bolts

dabi thinks they’re really pretty

nagi is the silent type. she very rarely talks and no one in the league of villains has ever heard the sound of her voice

dabi brags about being the only person nagi talks too

the name nagi was given to her by dabi it means the calm before the storm

though dabi gave her the nickname he often calls her aoka when they’re alone

despite her blonde hair and blue eyes nagi is 100% japanese!

her and dabi are hardly ever seen apart and if you haven’t guessed it i ship them lol

Headcanons for Stendy Family?

Alright, Anon! The time has come! OvO/ I don’t know if these are the kinds of headcanons you had hoped for - but I hope you can enjoy them anyway. uwu

Stan proposes to Wendy on the night of a wedding reception. Drunk. After puking. With no ring. Seeing his friends get married that day made him get mushy, and so he downed a bunch of liquid luck in the hopes of getting up enough courage to ask her to marry him. He thought it’d be romantic. Cue Wendy having to say nope after watching her beautiful, beloved boyfriend eject his guts and slur, “Wen-dyyy I larvuI lff fugignk larvaruu youuu,, marr meh ples marr meybeb…”

Wendy tells Stan what he did the next morning, and he gets embarrassed as he explains his thoughts last night. Wendy asks if he was genuine, and Stan says yeah, he really was. “Ask me again,” she says. “I don’t know,” he laughs nervously, “I’m kind of scared you’ll say no again.”  He pulls at his hair anxiously and averts his gaze, but she grabs his hand and makes him look into her eyes. “Ask me again,” she says, and he can’t deny her. “Okay, uhm… Wendy, I love you. Will you marry me?” He winces, pained, while he waits for her response. She smiles easily. “Yes.”

And that’s how Stan proposed to Wendy, drunk, and then proposed to her again, hungover. Still a better love story than Twilight.

They have a winter wedding. It snows on the day, and so Wendy and Stan both have white flakes in their black hair in all their wedding photographs outside the church. His horrible friends make dandruff jokes, but Stan and Wendy are so happy, they can’t even care. They’re shivering and smiling the whole day long.

Wendy keeps her last name, which Stan is disappointed about after all of those years writing Wendy Marsh in the margins of his notebooks, but he respects her decision.

They honeymoon in Hawaii. They’re a basic bitch couple, at the end of the day. (Butters sets them up, btw. Mahalo Rewards Card, biiitch!)

They were living together even before marriage, so they just continue to live like that for the first year of marriage. It isn’t long before Wendy gets pregnant though (Marsh men move fast, f.y.i., they end up being the first couple in their group of friends to have kids) and they quickly realise that their one-bedroom apartment probably isn’t the best place to raise a kid.

They end up moving to a cramped little house in a different area of their city. Stan wanted to move somewhere with a big backyard and a nearby park and quiet, safe roads for his kid to play in, like back where he grew up. But they had to stay in the city while Wendy finished her PhD.

It’s hard to make ends meet while Wendy’s working on her thesis and a part-time job while pregnant (with all of the discomfort that implies), and Stan’s trying to make enough money for the both of them doing whatever job he can. It’s a very poor time for them. There’s a lot of stress and a lot of arguments break out between them. They go to bed angry sometimes.

…But they always make up eventuality. It’s the hardest nights that make them cling the closest.

Stan and Wendy end up getting two babies for the price of one. They find out they’re having twins, and their stress just doubles.

They work themselves to exhaustion trying to save up enough money for their stork delivery, taking extra shifts at their work. They sleep whenever they’re not working. They forget to eat. Some days, they don’t even see each other. When they do, they can’t even muster the energy to just talk.

Sometimes they forget what it’s all for.

They remember again when Wendy finally gives birth, and they have their beautiful twin daughters. Stan holds one in each arm, and cries the whole time. Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny arrive pretty much instantaneously, being that over-dependent surrogate family they’ve always been to him, and all just hug the ever-loving shit out of Stan and coo over their new nieces.

Wendy gets a visit from all her girlfriends, too. Bebe, Nichole, Red, Heidi, Annie, and more, all come bearing gifts like the Wise Men at Jesus’ birth.

Having twins is no fucking party. Have you ever tried to soothe two babies crying at once? Stan and Wendy can’t take turns; they both have to get up in the night when the babies cry. The sleep deprivation is real, you guys.

Wendy has to take time off from her part-time job due to maternity leave, and she has to finish her thesis from home, so she stays and looks after the twins in the day. Stan goes to work all day, and then he takes over at night when he gets home.

Sometimes Gran’pa Randy and Gran’ma Sharon will take the kids off their hands for a weekend just so that Stan and Wendy can catch up on some fucking sleep. Stan has never loved them more than when they do that.

The twins grow up to be absolute terrors. Neither Stan nor Wendy know where they got their mischievous side from, but boy did they get it. Like, why are they so determined to stick pointy things in power outlets? Why do they constantly want to put small objects in their mouths? Why don’t they want to wear diapers? Why do they like to scream at the top of their lungs when their mom is working? Why do they think the wall is the best place to draw on with crayons? (Uncle Cartman is so proud, btw.)

Stan and Wendy swear up and down that they are never having another one. Never, ever. Nope. Not a single one. Two is more than enough. No.

Two years later, Wendy is pregnant again.

She’s finally finished her PhD though, so they think it’s finally time to move to that huge house with the big backyard in a nice neighbourhood like they always talked about.

“No, Stan, we’re not getting a dog too. We barely just got the girls potty-trained, and we still have to take them out on leashes. That’s all the dog we need right now.”

She gives birth to their son, Thomas, not long after. And thank goodness, he inherited his father’s quietness and is not as unnecessarily loud as his sisters. He also inherited his father’s sensitivity, however, and he cries at near-anything. A very fussy baby. He lives in his daddy’s arms, and he is literally, actually scared of his own shadow. His big sisters bully him a lot.

But they won’t allow anyone else to bully him. Like their mom, they stand up against any tyranny (that isn’t their own). Also like their mom, they are ferociously intelligent, and their parents fear them for it.

All three children have the same black hair and blue eyes as their mom and dad and grow up to be the absolute spit of their parents.

When Stan and Wendy look at their children, they quite literally forget all those years of hardship they went through; because what is that suffering, now, compared to this bliss?

Stan is such a sappy dad, in fact, that he writes songs about his children, for his children, and sings to them on his guitar.

Then the girls try to steal his guitar and almost break it with their careless strumming because they can’t appreciate nice things when they’re, what, six? Seriously, Stan, what did you think would happen?

But they quiet down and listen when Stan sings them a lullaby at bedtime.

Also, Stan is a pretty big push-over. His kids just need to bat their baby blues at them and he’s wrapped ‘round their tiny fingers. An ice-cream? You got it, honey. A pony? Anything for you, sweetie. What’s that, now? The assassination of the US president? Just hold on, cupcake, I’m on my way to D.C. right now.

I swear, Wendy “Don’t Fucking Test Me” Burger is the only force keeping that family from falling to the whims of their terrible twins and the wants of their infant son.

She makes sure they brush their teeth and eat their greens and look both ways before crossing the street. She has full folders of their medical and dental history organised in chronological order. She already has a college fund set up for all three kids that she keeps money flowing into monthly. She helps them with their homework (mostly Thomas, the girls do fine on their own). She’s a fucking scary force of nature, man.

…But maybe she lets Stan get that dog one day.

Uncle Kyle, Uncle Cartman, and Uncle Kenny visit often, and bring their own kids when they have them too. They reminisce while watching their children run around, playing and fighting, like they all used to do as kids. SEASON 3 PREDICTION

All right, let’s not get into the whole chit-chat and let’s fricking do this because I have like a few days and I’ve been procrastinating but it’s time for action.

So, season 3 is very highly anticipated by the Voltron community. There have been so many leaks, it’s been a roller-coaster, and I honestly can’t wait to see what the creators will do with the series. But, in the end, I’m just too impatient to wait that long, so I’m going to try and predict what will happen in Season 3. Can I accurately predict an entire season? Probably not. Am I going to try? Obviously. Why else would I make this? Okay, I’m rambling, let’s do it.

First of all, the Lions. Since Shiro is gone (but never forgotten), Voltron’s order will need to be changed. Of course, there’s some leaks and confirmation already (I’m late lmao) but in the end this is most likely, if not yet officially confirmed, what is going to happen- Keith will move to Black, Lance will move to Red, and Allura will begin to pilot the Blue Lion- just like the older series in which Legendary Defender is derived from.

Of course, let’s devote a little bit to talk about the Lions themselves. Throughout the series, we’ve known that the Lions have a mystical bond with their pilots that “Cannot be forced,” according to Allura in the first episode. A pilot’s quintessence (their spiritual energy, or something along those lines) must mirror their Lion. Therefore, we can assume that a Lion’s pilot is someone who has been chosen, not forced or just ‘oh, I was there so let’s do it’. It’s something that cannot be forced and is inherent in the beginning.

So, if this logic is true, then that means huge trouble for Voltron. Because all of the paladins were uniquely chosen for their specific Lion; no one else could pilot each other’s Lions like their original pilot can. Which is why I think that Voltron this season will be (statistically) much weaker than in season 2. Not only because the team has been shifted and changed, but also because the Lions cannot truly bond with their new pilots. Again, a pilot’s quintessence must mirror their Lion’s own. Lance’s quintessence probably won’t mirror Red’s, and Keith’s probably won’t mirror Black’s. Allura, having her life force tied to all the Lions, might have a bit of an easier time, but I’m going to touch on that in a little bit.

Because they might have a harder time bonding with their Lions, Lance and Keith might get high-strung emotion-wise. Well, I’ll get exactly to what this will mean later, but we can expect that they will be some of the most high-strung of the team.

Now, Blue. Throughout the entire series, Blue has often been described as ‘the friendliest of the Lions.’ She’s the most accepting of new pilots, the most devoted, and generally the most accepting. By this logic, wouldn’t it be easy to say that she’ll take it all in stride? Hell no!

Because throughout the series we have seen that the Lions are incredibly devoted to their pilots. Hell, Red will freaking destroy everything in the general vicinity if Keith does so much as stub his toe! Red’s probably not going to like this change one bit, but I’m gonna touch on that in a second.

Anyway, Blue might not seem to be as devoted to Lance as Red is to Keith (Blue’s never blown shit up to help Lance), but I feel like she really is. I mean, she waited for over 10,000 years on Earth, in a cold, dark cavern, patiently waiting for Keith to bring Lance over so he would become her paladin. If that’s not devoted, I dunno what is. And in the end, I feel like Blue is devoted to Lance just as much as Red is to Keith, it’s just shown in a different way. Which is why I think Blue won’t like having to give Lance up.

In one of the trailers and leaks (spoilers, btw, but then why would you have clicked this? You should have expected spoilers??), Allura is shown to be walking away from Blue, clearly frustrated, until Blue lowers her barrier. Of course, this shows that eventually Blue accepts Allura, but I don’t think Blue would have done it willingly.

Because Blue might be friendly, open, and accepting, but this is her paladin we’re talking about. None of the Lions, or their paladins, wants to accept this whole situation. And if Red is gonna be really impulsive and Black’s going to stay in a lump on the ground, not accepting anything, then why can’t she not want to change paladins?

Just a cool thought about Blue.

Okay, now going on to Red. How’s she going to react to this? Well, throughout the series we’ve seen Red continually destroy shit to get to Keith. Clearly, she loves her paladin and would do anything to keep him safe. So him having to change Lions and leaving her with someone else? Awful, horrible. Betrayed. Red’s not going to like that one bit.

But what about Lance? How will he feel about this whole thing? I mean, if we’re going to say that Red’s not going to like it, how will Lance feel having to switch Lions with Keith? Keith, the one person who Lance has always been compared to. First at the Garrison, and now by Red. Lance might feel inferior to Keith, left out, a replacement. If the writers want to crank up the angst, then this is one of the things to do it on.

But in the end, I feel like the Lion’s reactions to all of this is something that could be really interesting in the series.  

Okay, but with the new trailer (fucking dreamworks, I have to keep editing this shit because you can’t keep your pants on) it fucking shows that the paladins are still in their original lions. Like wtf, stop fucking turning all of my theories down and just let me live ;n;

Okay, but anyway: Since this new trailer happened, we can assume that the Lion swap is going to happen somewhere in the middle of the season, since in the beginning it’s shown that the paladins are still trying to stay in their actual lions. Just thought you would want to know that.

Now, let’s talk about the paladins themselves.

Now, the paladins are obviously going to be messed up by this. I mean, Shiro, their leader, basically disappeared like a magical unicorn?? Like?? What??? Why would you leave your children like this????

All jokes aside, they’re all obviously messed up. However, I feel as though Lance, Keith, and Allura in particular will be some of the most. Not that I’m dissing Hunk, Pidge, and Coran; it’s just that they’re not the ones who have to drastically change Lions (or in Allura’s case, begin to pilot one.)

Allura will be forced into a completely different situation than she’s used to. I mean, she’s always been known to be a strong, confident leader, helping train Voltron but not really interacting with it. Because, in the series, Allura doesn’t really try to interact with the paladins on a more personal level. While the paladins are becoming friends, working as a team, she just..kind of stands off to the side, leading but never interacting. She doesn’t interact with them in the same way that they interact with each other, putting them on different levels of personal bonds.

Because of this, I feel as though piloting Blue will be harder for Allura. For one thing, she’s never really tried to bond with the paladins, and, as a result, will have to learn to work with them not only as teammates, but as friends. Another thing, she’s always been the leader; the other head of Voltron, if we’re going to go into metaphors. Where Shiro carried out the plans and helped the paladins bond, she was the one behind the plans; keeping the mission on track and forming valuable alliances with the various planets they’ve saved. Since she is now a paladin, she has to get used to being in a different position; a team member, not just a leader. She’s floated above a lot of the paladin affairs throughout the series, and now she has to learn how to be a paladin. How to work with others, how to form Voltron with them. I feel as though this will be a good chance to have some more character development for her, allowing her to grow and accept that she doesn’t have to always be a strong leader; she’s allowed to help as well.

Now, moving on to Keith. Of course, Keith had almost an entire season devoted to growing out his character, revealing stuff about him, and all that stuff. Of course, this is going to hit Keith hard. Throughout the series, we’ve been shown that Shiro and Keith have a very close bond, Keith even going as far to say that he sees Shiro as a brother. Now, keep in mind this is Keith we’re talking about. Keith, while having a personality and not being an emo baby, as well as having a bond with the other paladins, has also been shown to not trust easily. He’s very loyal and very impulsive, but he takes his bonds seriously and is not willing to forsake them for anything. So, showing that Keith sees Shiro as not just a friend, but as a brother, is a huge indication of their closeness.

From what we’ve seen in the trailers and leaks (*glares at Dreamworks*), Keith is very upset about this. From the “hey man” moment to the image of him stalking off from an important meeting, as well as him blowing up at everyone in the newest trailer, he’s been hit hard. He’s even more angry and impulsive now than he was before (if that’s even possible lmao).

But I feel as though as the season continues, he’ll begin to mellow out. Now that Shiro’s gone, he’s got to step up and be the leader (even though he doesn’t really want to.) I feel like this is also a good way for Keith to get some more character development.

Now, Lance. Lance is a character beloved by the fandom, for hundreds of reasons. However, throughout the series he’s always been shown as a ‘comedic relief’ character with little to no development. The closest we see to any insecurities or deeper-laid fears is in the episode “Beta Traz”, where he laments about ‘what if he’s just a seventh wheel, useless and alone?’ Now, I love Lance. He’s a nice character and he reminds me of Sokka from ATLA, but that’s not the only reason for it.

However, getting back to the point, the creators have stated that season 3 will give Lance and Hunk character development, something that the legs of Voltron have been severely lacking. I touched a bit on Lance’s insecurities about his relationship with Red, or at least a possible route in order to overcome his insecurities, but I want to expand on some parts of that.

Lance is a family man. He’s been confirmed to be the youngest in a very large family, with older siblings and a niece and nephew. He’s clearly a very family-oriented person, a ‘great uncle’ (according to the creators), and generally a deeper person than most people give him credit for. But I feel like some of Lance’s better characteristics will begin to shine in this season, offering us (the fandom) the opportunity to see how deep his character really is. Lance’s insecurities might come a bit into play here, but so will his family characteristics. Voltron is...kind of like his family now. They’re all a bunch of people out in space, and you know that Lance really cares about him. All of them.

Now, before I go into this next part about how I feel Lance will help people throughout this season, I want to put out a disclaimer. Since I want to be serious about this and not take all of this information and lean it towards proof for any particular ship, I’m not going to accept any of this information as any kind of relationship. I know a lot of you guys ship Klance, Sheith, or Hance, or a lot of other ships, but I want to keep this information neutral. I understand you guys like your ships and want them to be more clearly stated in the narrative, but at this point I don’t want discourse of any kind on this essay. Therefore, this is going to be ship-free. If you were hoping for no ships, then congrats! You’ve found it! If you were hoping for a particular ship, then I’m sorry to disappoint you. You can choose to process this information in any way that you want, but for the purpose of the essay this will not be inherently any kind of ship. Back to the essay.

All right, back to the essay.

Lance is going to get some development in the season, whether I predict it accurately or not. The way that I see it is that he will help support the team in their time of need, helping to keep them up and making sure they’re alright. This was confirmed in the famous “Hey man” scene, wherein Lance was one of the first to comfort Keith after the discovery of Shiro’s disappearance.

I feel like some of the paladins might have a breakdown, and Lance and Hunk will be there to comfort them. Because they’re the legs of Voltron, and it’s their job to support. But, in a sort of metaphor, the legs of a human aren’t as appreciated as the arms or the head. And if you think about that, it’s kind of true. But now, Hunk and Lance are definitely going to get their character development.

All right, now let’s talk about Lotor.

Lotor is going to be...interesting. I don’t know very much about what he was like in the original series (all I know is that he was a walking shitpost who has an obsession with Allura because she looks like his dead mom??? Like?? Wtf??? Go see a counselor??? Do you need help???). However, from what we’ve seen with his voiceovers and what the creators have leaked, he’s going to be a really formidable foe.

From what I’ve seen in the trailers, he will certainly be more crafty. He outsmarts the paladins and is always ‘one step ahead of them’. Therefore, he’s going to pose more of a threat.

Concerning his relationship with Allura, I’m not quite sure. From what I’ve heard, it seems as though Allura might know him from before she was thrown into a cryo-pod, but this is just me reaching for something. Lotor doesn’t give any indications of his relationship with Allura from his monologue, so I can either assume that they do not know each other, or they do. It’s really up to the series lmao.

His generals are also very interesting, but I’m going to touch on the most interesting one in a second. What will they pose? What’s their story? I don’t have many answers, but I’m eager to find out.

Now, let’s talk about the most interesting one.

Now, in the generals, there is one Galra lady who bears a certain resemblance to Keith himself. A lot of people have said that she’s Keith’s mom, but others have stated that she’s Keith’s sister. Now, from her age and the way she looks, I am more strongly inclined to believe that she’s Keith’s sister (if anything). However, this could just be me reaching.

Because really, we don’t actually know Galra’s life-spans. Zarkon’s survived for thousands of years, but Haggar is Altean and did almost the same. Is this an indication that Galrans can survive for thousands of years? Personally, I head-canon that Galras have a longer life span than human beings do, so it could be possible for her to be Keith’s mom if this theory is fact. But, I can’t really say much more about that subject.

Now, let’s get to the juicy part. Shiro and Matt.

Basically, Shiro’s gone. He’s run off again, that little shit. But where did he go? That’s the million dollar question.

Going along with what the show has laid out, there are 2 places he could be in the series:

In the astral plane

With Matt

Now, the Astral Plane (for those of you who aren’t familiar with the name, it’s the place Shiro went to when he was talking to Black where he had that epic fight with Zarkon) is a mysterious and unknown place. All we really know about it is that it’s connected to the Black Lion, if you die in it you die for real, and it can be accessed through a strong bond with the Black Lion.

Having Shiro end up there would be a neat way to not only give us more information about this mysterious place and what mysteries it holds, but also a way to securely tuck him away for the purpose of the narrative.

But, having him with Matt is also interesting. Because if that happens, Matt is also a part of season 3, which causes some interesting things to happen. Matt, being the object of Pidge’s search, would be interesting to have him be introduced so soon. Because (and this might be the angst talking) I kind of want Matt to be introduced a bit later, for that sweet angst amiright lmao.

Anyway, I can’t predict what’s gonna happen in Season 3, but this is all I have. I wrote this in like hours with a huge headache so you’re welcome lmao. Have a nice day!

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice

WARNING: I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL GAME REVIEWER, GAME CRITIC, OR WRITER. The following is just purely my opinion and reaction to the game. Also, ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE. So, yeah, I’m sure there will be a grammar mistake somewhere there. Please don’t be a grammar nazi. Lastly, THIS WILL NOT BE AN ENTIRELY SERIOUS REVIEW. Yay. *insert cute puppy face*

seeing your previous player character on the other side of the courtroom would make anyone scream

Okay, first, let me lay down some rationale for this game. The Ace Attorney franchise is really, really close to my heart. If Pokemon holds my past and my childhood, the Ace Attorney holds the key to my future – as dramatic as it sounds. The Ace Attorney is what pushed me to take the path of being a lawyer. Of course, it’s not the whole reason (I’m not too keen on putting my whole life and future over a single game, after all), the other is the desire to change all the stupid things that is happening around me. But still, it is what introduced me to the greatness of law, the importance of finding the truth, and the great feeling of satisfaction you get once you have found it.

note to self: don’t fangirl too much and read the important details. seriously.

CHARACTERS:

The Legend, Phoenix Wright

Let me say one thing, it’s really, really weird facing Phoenix in a courtroom battle. For five games, I’ve played as him, and then suddenly we’re battling against him as Apollo in a civil case!? I mean, we all anticipated it ever since we briefly controlled Edgeworth in Trials and Tribulations and acted as a Defense Attorney, but seeing the legendary Phoenix Wright on the other side of the courtroom is still surprising.

And scary. Definitely scary. Seeing Phoenix frown seriously, smirk and do a complete turnabout (which, normally is a good thing for us since we’re normally him) made Apollo (and us, the player) really quake in his boots. It’s like he’s getting back for all the abuse he received for being the butt monkey of the courtroom for the past 4 games!

Other than the very memorable Case 4, Phoenix goes back to being on our side again for the rest of the cases. I especially love the fact that even though 8 or so years has passed; Phoenix’s protectiveness over Maya has never failed. He went to another freaking country just because of a phone call for her! He fought on the wrong side of the truth (which is basically the opposite of his whole values) for her! He knowingly risked his life over her (though then again, this part’s nothing new)!

Every girl needs a Phoenix in her life, man. (NaruMayo ship: *sails*)

Courtroom Revolutionaire, Apollo Justice

Okay, first of all, let me clarify; I KNOW THAT THIS TITLE BELONGS TO ATHENA. But it just fits, you know? (Also, I don’t know how to spell.)

I don’t care that the title of the game says Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney; Apollo is the real star of this game (it’s like the reversed version of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, where the real conflict is about Phoenix.). I believe in the wandering fan theory that this last three games (Apollo Justice: AA, AA: Dual Destinies, and AA: Spirit of Justice) is about Apollo, similar to how the first three games (Phoenix Wright: AA, AA: Justice for All and AA: Trials and Tribulations) is about Phoenix.

And man, how those three games did a wonderful job building up Apollo into the brave little bird he is now. AJ shows how he starts as a rookie defense attorney, DD shows his high school-college past (aka Clay MY GOD *eternal crying*), and lastly, SoJ shows his childhood and ends in how he starts being a professional defense attorney (thus, making a complete, albeit reversed, circle).

Spirit of Justice shows a lot of tearjerker, heart-pulling and gasp-inducing scenes for Apollo that at this point in time I don’t know how he managed to not break down. Oh wait, he did break down, he even have a new, special animation for it. And my god that scene… I didn’t shed a single tear at that point, because I was just so horrified and overwhelmed and whatishappeningisthisreallyhappening. Yeah, that feeling. (I did cry, a lot, but at the later point of the game since it took time for my mind to acknowledge that ohmyggoditreallyhappenedhuuuHUHUHUHU-)

So yeah. Apollo really received his most-deserved characterization and development in this game.

The Funeral Prosecutor, Nahyuta Sahdmadhi

Nahyuta. Nahyuta… Is my baby. Because, really, he’s just so cute and naiive in some of the things! I mean sure, he’s really nasty, but so are the other prosecutors and you don’t see me hating on them (in fact Franziska is totally my role model). But we can’t all deny the fact that he’s really kind and gentle on other people, look at Ema for instance (it’s clear that he likes her btw, I just can’t decide if it’s platonic or romantic, since my KlEma heart’s really against it).

And just like any main prosecutors in any games, Nahyuta receives wonderful characterization and character development as the game progresses. Similar to Apollo, a lot of tearjerker scenes is about him, especially when you discover how much has he sacrificed for his family…

And Nahyuta’s totally an overprotective brother to Rayfa. I can’t wait to see the next game just to see their post-game interactions.

The Ace Assistant, Maya Fey

MAYA. SHE’S BACK. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-

Ace Attorney fans have fully risen from the dead the moment the trailer showed Maya returning for this game. It’s what we have been wishing for in these past two games! Our beloved Ace Assistant is back! And partnered with Phoenix no less! Sarcastic conversations! Funny interactions! Ladders vs. Stepladders!

Our original Ace Attorney duo is back! AAAAAAAAA-

But still, of course 8 years have passed, so it’s inevitable for Maya to change. Even though most of the time she’s still childish and funny, there are still many scenes scattered all around the game that shows her all grown up that you can’t help but remember her older sister, Mia. The game shows Mature Maya, the Leader of the Kurain Village.

Also, the Spirit Channeling scene is very, very beautiful. I’m glad that we actually saw it for the first time.

The Priestess, Rayfa Padma Khura’in

Princess Rayfa is a cinnamon roll. A tsundere cinnamon roll, and that what makes her a very cute and wonderful and funny assistant.

Serious talk though, Rayfa is the youngest (except for Ahlbi) character to be introduced in this game, and it shows. Although she acts all high-and-mighty and incredibly mature due to her status as a priestess, there are times that her childishness shows true. And I think it’s completely okay – and Phoenix and Maya does to. She tries too hard to immediately grow up , but what she doesn’t know is that being true to your age gives you wonders too.

And, oh god, the pressure given to her by her mother… I can totally relate.

That scene when she was asked to show her (adoptive) father’s death in a Divination Séance… it made me cry for Rayfa [seriously, this game made me cry a lot]. Sure, we’ve seen her faint a lot of the times, but it’s only for dramatics; to show how horrified she was that we beat her. But that scene… is the real deal. We actually saw Rayfa going pale, gasping for air, eyes wide… and faints. It’s – just – so heartbreaking…

The Dragon, Dhurke Sahdmadhi

Oh my gosh, where do I even start.

*cries*

My first impression of Dhurke during the trailer was he’s the typical rebel antagonist in a game. And it continued on as we first got a glance on him at the end of the second trial.

Oh boy am I glad to be wrong.

I admit – Dhurke has not been a particularly good father to Apollo. Sure he’s got his reasons, being busy with the rebellion and all, but imagining a little Apollo hoping for his father to show up, pick him up and get him out of his misery – yet incredibly devastated as later, he will know that no one will show up, really broke my heart. Apollo did not deserve that. No child deserves that.

But oh man, he still loves Apollo. He loves Nahyuta. He loves Rayfa. He loves his children – anyone playing the game can see that. He just shows it in a different way, but every action he takes – it’s for the sake of his family. (Nahyuta really is similar to his father)

SPOILER

Too bad he’s not even alive. I can’t believe all the time we’ve spent with him as Apollo is… not exactly a lie, the interactions with him is the truth – he loves Apollo. But… you know.

Imagining his thought process while he was being spirit channeled by Maya and spending time with his son he had only seen now for the past two decades… is very depressing.

The Childhood Duo, Athena Cykes and Simon Blackquill

I admit, I am disappointed with these two. Well, not these two exactly, they’re perfect just the way they are (I MEAN CAN YOU BELIEVE IT SIMON AND ATHENA TEAMING UP. THE PSYCHOLOGY CHILDHOOD FRIENDS, DEFENSE-PROSECUTOR DUO IS TEAMING UP AAAAAA-), but I’m more sad in the roles they are given. More specifically, the wasted potential of their roles.

The theme of the whole game is inheritance. Inheritance from parent to child, and inheritance from teacher to student. And Athena and Simon’s ace – Psychology – is literally that, an inheritance from Metis Cykes!

They don’t need to create a whole batch of other characters. I’m not saying the Rakugo case sucks – it’s very new considering we have another Japanese culture-themed case; and the fact that a psychological disease (the multiple personalities stuff) is the main turning point of this case makes it a perfect case for Simon and Athena – but maybe they should have used it for the next game?

Athena and Simon were only introduced in the last game – so I’m definitely hungry for more backstory and deeper characterization for these two wonderful characters. And what better way for us to get to know more about theme more intimately than to get to know these two’s most important person, Metis Cykes, and her gift to them?

But hey – I’m complaining but I’m not particularly shunning these two and Case 3. As I said, Case 3 is a wonderful and genius case (but what would you expect from Ace Attorney, right?). It’s just that, the potential…

The Game

So far, this game has the largest amount of ‘gimmicks’ or ‘powers’ featured. Phoenix’s Magatama, Apollo’s bracelet, Athena’s Widget, Ema’s Forensic stuff, and the newly introduced Rayfa’s Divination Séance. I think the only missing power is Edgeworth’s Logic Chess, and we have the complete set!

Each of them is unique and special in their own way, and they definitely made the game much more exciting and enjoyable. OF course, the traditional courtroom battle is as hard, mysterious and exciting as ever!  I cannot even predict who the culprit was in the start of the case, and if it was obvious who did it (like, it was showed in the initial cutscene or was directly implied), I can’t figure out how he/she did it without the help of the character I’m acting as. Which is a new thing for me, since in the past games, I already know who the real culprit is even before the player character knows. Well, most of the time, at least.

And the plot, oh the plot was absolutely complicated and mind blowing it’s wonderful. The family drama is as – if not more – dramatic than the T&T one. And that’s saying something, considering that the Fey clan’s story is really complicated too. And as I mentioned earlier, this game gave meat for the characterization of several characters.

Also, it made me cry probably around ten times.

 FINAL REMARKS

DO I EVEN HAVE TO? GO PLAY IT. Though if you still haven’t play the previous games yet, do that first THEN PLAY THIS. THE STORY IS GOOD. THE GAMEPLAY IS AWESOME. THE CHARACTERS ARE WONDERFUL. *eternal scream*

 FINAL NOTES: I’M SORRY IF I MISSED ANYTHING. What I wrote here are the things that really stood out to me. My aim is not to review everything about the game, but to write what I remember the most and what my reaction to it. If I did react to the whole game, it would take about 20 pages or so in MS word. (This is 4 pages, btw)
