Bellatrix Lestrange: 19 Femslash Fic Recs

The majority of the fics submitted for this challenge are posted to tumblr and reblogged onto this blog (a list of ships that have been written can be found here), but we also have this AO3 collection and there are a lot of incredible fics being posted there that don't make it to tumblr. I still want to highlight those because honestly some of the are amazing.

This is a list of 19 (micro)fics, word counts ranging from 30 to about 500. Quick, easy, captivating reads. All of them involve Bellatrix in the ship, and the ships range from pretty popular to those you've never heard of (but won't be able to get enough of once you're hooked).

Summary: You're a new teacher at a large and influential school. It's a risky step for you, as you've been running from your ex for almost two years. But when Dumbledore asks you to take on a class at the renowned Hogwarts, you can't refuse. However, your life as a newly arrived teacher won't be easy. Especially when the other teachers don't seem eager to make friends. Or rather, two teachers in particular: Sirius Black and Remus Lupin.

Author's Note: Welcome, dear readers. Please leave your comments if you enjoy fanfiction. This fanfic takes place almost in the real world (with the addition of werewolves) and is not a wizarding fanfic. There will be some differences and changes in things from the Harry Potter story or other fanfics in the HP universe, but I promise to do my best writing this fanfic. There will be a love triangle coming in this fanfic.

THREE FIVE

You had a date with two men, two men who stood you up, didn't even bother to send a smoke signal to cancel everything. The worst part is that you got all dressed up, put on a nice dress and everything. How infuriating. And just as you're about to lie down on the bed and turn on the TV to try to forget the pathetic situation you find yourself in, someone knocks on your door.

"So, the idiot here and I are going to the bar on the other side of the forest to have some beers. As uninteresting as you may seem, it's worth giving you a chance to at least do something fun. What do you think?" Bellatrix asks as she leans abruptly against the corridor wall. Peter is standing beside her, looking uncomfortable at being called an idiot but much more focused on looking at you as if he wants to uncover your secrets.

"I think that's a rather rude way to ask someone if they want to go have a beer with you, but at the moment, my options are either to go with you or put on my pajamas, and I think it's worth giving you guys a chance." You say, grabbing your bag and then locking the door to your room. When you turn around, Peter looks at you as if you were some kind of different creature. A look that seems to mix curiosity with a sort of dread.

"Deep down, I know you want to go out with us because you don't want to be in the middle of what's going on between Remus and Sirius. Believe me, I know how you feel. Hogwarts doesn't offer many options for relationships, so sometimes I tried to have something casual with Remus or even with my boring cousin, but Sirius is simply… nothing is more important to those two than their relationship. So my advice is to stay away from them. Or at least don't have feelings for them. But if you do, be prepared." Bellatrix speaks as if she just wants to gossip about something or influence you even a little bit. You, who are walking beside her while Peter walks ahead of the two, don't know what to think. After all, you're a stranger. You can't demand anything from anyone.

"Danger, danger is all you'll get with Lupin. If you survive, you'll come out marked forever." Peter turns to you and says this. His body language seems to indicate that he's nervous, as if he's warning you of an impending attack. Bellatrix looks at him with a disapproving and almost furious look. You don't understand anything, but something inside you tells you to be more cautious.

"What Peter means is that getting involved with Remus can be dangerous, but not in a real sense. More like a romantic danger. You know how love triangles are, and if you manage to win one of them over, you'll have to deal with the other. But our friend Peter here is a bit too dramatic. He's a literature professor and has lost track of what's fiction and what's reality. Stay at Hogwarts for longer, and maybe you'll end up like that too." Bellatrix speaks as if she's trying to convince you of something, and you admit that she could easily persuade you to believe her, but something in you said that Peter wasn't exaggerating.

"My intention is not to meddle in the relationship between Black and Lupin. In fact, I don't even know how that relationship works. I just happened to meet them by chance and get closer." You speak as you walk through the forest. You look up, unable to see the moon and wondering if tonight you would see the hairy creature again. For a moment, you even think it could be a plan of Bellatrix and Peter to bring you into the middle of the forest and get rid of you, but then you start to think that you're being a bit paranoid. After all, why would they want to get rid of you?

"And finally, we've arrived at the quaintest local bar you'll find around here. I'll warn you upfront that not all patrons are good folks, but the beer is good and it's our only option." Bellatrix informs you as the three of you enter the establishment. The design of the place is cozy and simple, like Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother's house. There's a fireplace right at the entrance, near an old and somewhat tattered-looking sofa. Some people are sitting on the sofa, drinking, while others are standing. Most are just having drinks and chatting. Others are smoking while playing pool in a part of the bar that seems to have a door. You imagine it must be the exit.

"I'll have a beer. Actually, make that two beers." You tell the bartender. He's an incredibly tall man with a long beard and hair. Despite not being sure if he heard your order, he nods. Bellatrix is placing her order while Peter seems to have gone to the restroom. He's so quiet, he could be mistaken for a mouse sneaking around.

"Would you like to dance?" Bellatrix asks as she grabs her drink. The bartender apparently didn't hear you, as he passed you a glass of whiskey and then went to serve another customer. You wonder how she plans to dance without music until you see a jukebox near where the smokers are. Bellatrix promptly goes over there and selects a song. "Kill of the Night" is the song she chooses, and she starts dancing with a certain rhythm towards you. You take your whiskey shot and then take Bellatrix's hand as you try to keep up with her pace. It's a dance that mainly involves the feet and hips. You're not the most coordinated person in the world, but you manage to keep up with her, even though she's holding a bottle of beer while dancing.

"Thank you for inviting me to come here. It was kind of you." You say as you're close to her. Then she pulls you closer and gives you a small kiss on the corner of your mouth, catching you by surprise. You quickly push her away, not quite understanding. Not that she isn't attractive, but you just met her. Well, not that you're a prude.

"If you're interested in spending more time with more fun people, now you know where to find me." Bellatrix winks in your direction and heads towards where Peter went. You're not quite sure what to do, but suddenly you feel short of breath. You then head towards the exit of the bar. Bad idea. The more you walk in the same direction you came from, the more you feel lost. Going back would be an option, but you're a bit embarrassed. So you walk even further until you see someone approaching you at some speed. You clench your fists in a defensive position, preparing yourself. When you feel the person's body collide with yours, and you both roll into the forest. You get lost in the moment, feeling some rocks and branches touching your skin as you and the person roll on the ground.

"What the hell are you doing? Trying to kill us both?" You say as soon as you stop rolling after hitting a tree. Your body already shows signs of feeling the impact, but your anger speaks louder. Especially when you realize who it is. Sirius, who is currently positioned right on top of you, says nothing. He just lightly presses his fingers over your mouth and shushes you. His hand smells nice, like vanilla. But you're itching to kick him where it would hurt most and get him off of you. Then you hear a loud, pained howl, as if from a wounded animal. You also notice that Sirius's arm is injured. And it's like a puzzle assembling itself right in front of you.

"Where's Lupin?" You ask, concerned. Sirius looks at you with a serious expression as if he's annoyed that you didn't shut up.

"I'd like to explain, but it'll be better if we stay quiet." Sirius says, almost against your mouth due to how close he is. You stare at him, feeling his blood touch your skin. He's losing a lot of blood. You need to help him.

"I'll distract whatever's coming. You try to find someone to help you. Don't try to be a hero. You'll die if you keep bleeding like this. Just run in a different direction from mine and try to stay alive." You say, gently pushing Sirius's body off of you and then figuring out how to get the creature's attention. Your only option was to do what the creature does best. So you let out a loud howl, trying to mimic the creature's noise. Soon, the sounds of the creature approaching can be heard. Sirius must have noticed that you were truly determined to attract the creature's attention, because he disappeared once you howled. You then started running as if your life depended on it. But before you left, you grabbed a branch. Your feet pound the ground at an unprecedented speed as you flee from the creature. But it's not enough, as somehow the shaggy creature appears in front of you. You have no doubt it's a werewolf. And the creature looks at you as if it knows who you are. It moves as if it's about to come towards you, and you grip the branch as if to attack the creature. And then it occurs to you that perhaps you can speak to the werewolf, especially if it's who you suspect it is.

"Remus, don't make me attack you. I… don't know you as well as I'd like, but I don't want to hurt you. I know. Deep down, you know it too. You don't want to hurt me, just like you didn't want to hurt Sirius. Just try to stay calm. I know it might seem silly, but focus on what's around you. Your home is nearby. Where your students study. Harry, Hermione, Ron, Draco, Luna, and many others. They need you." You speak, trying to appeal to the human inside the creature. And for a few seconds, you think you succeeded, until you hear footsteps that distract both you and the creature. And just when it seems like the werewolf is going to attack you, you see four small bodies throwing stones at it. You can bet that Potter, Granger, Weasley, and Malfoy are the students daring enough to venture out of Hogwarts at this hour. Even though Draco might have only come with them because Harry did. You don't have time to think. When you realize that your students might be in danger, you throw your entire body against the werewolf's. You close your eyes tightly to avoid seeing the damage, but you manage to bring the creature down, causing both of you to fall near a stream. Or something like it; you can only hear the sound of water as you begin to lose consciousness.

When dawn breaks, you're unsure if you're alive or how you survived. All you know is that your body is racked with pain. Looking around, you realize that yesterday's events weren't just a dream. Your eyes settle on another person nearby. Despite feeling a bit dizzy, you muster the determination to get up and confirm what you already suspected. The naked man lying unconscious by the stream is Lupin. He's covered in bruises and has a cut near his mouth. So, Remus Lupin is a werewolf, and last night he nearly caused quite a problem. And to top it all off, you'll need to figure out how to carry him somewhere.

It is real, says Professor McGonagall as she takes the Grangers' baby girl away. Hermione thinks that this all feels like a book; like a story, but she is not the main character. She is simply dreaming and will soon wake up.

Of course she is magic, say her parents, Our wonderful little girl, beaming proudly as Hermione examines her new wand. Hermione knows they love her, are proud, would be proud even if it was a mistake and she was still ordinary.

You're one of us now, Parvati says kindly as she paints Hermione's nails vivid red to match their new uniforms. Lavender and the others watch from their beds, smiling. Hermione thinks that maybe having friends could be good.

Can you help me? asks Ron, biting his lip over a Potions essay, and Hermione thinks that maybe it is a little wonderful to be needed. To be wanted.

Mudblood, sneers Malfoy, and Hermione realizes that maybe this world is not a fairytale. That maybe this is something darker.

Insufferable, Snape says, and hate simmers in Hermione's stomach. She is not. She knows she is not. She refuses to be insufferable. Hermione swears it to herself; she will make people like her.

Would you go to the Ball with me? Viktor asks, and Hermione's heart explodes into a million shining fireworks. Here is one person that does not find her insufferable. Here is one person that cares. When he kisses her at the end of the night, Hermione thinks that maybe she could get used to it.

Emotional range of a teaspoon, grumbles Hermione one night, ignoring Ron's baffled look and storming upstairs. She doesn't think it's really fair how Harry talks about Cho; she'd act the same if it was her boyfriend that died. Hermione starts to understand that girls like Cho will always be labeled as shallow and weak, and girls like herself will always be labeled as insufferable. There is a storm at the edges of her school, her sanctuary, and Hermione does not like it.

We made it, says Ron in disbelief, as they gaze out across the Hall; it's still full of bodies, still full of Fred's laugh and Tonks' bubblegum hair, Remus' threadbare jackets and Colin's bright, flashing camera. Lavender's bright red nails. The scars Bellatrix carved into Hermione will always be there, and Hermione feels an odd satisfaction as she stares down at the woman's corpse. Hermione lays the evil, evil woman's wand on her body and walks away. Ron kisses her for the second time that day (night? She doesn't know, for once) and Hermione lets herself get lost in it.

My review:

Beautiful story of falling in Love, sacrifice for the greater good, and finally getting a life of peace and joy.

No horcruxes. Harry and Ron are rarely mentioned. Snape is accepted by the Prince family even grew up in his Grandmother's house (yes he still had a muggle father) and they play a significant part in the story.

Note- this story is or should be rated mature.

Very much worth the read. ENJOY!

“But he's there! Potter's there! Someone grab him!” Pansy Parkinson exclaimed while you watched the scene unfold next to Hermione.

Ginny instinctively moves towards Harry with her wand drawn. Your eyes quickly flickered to your boyfriend, Blaise Zabini who was already staring at you.

Both you and Hermione made a move to join Ginny while you desperately clutched your wand, praying to whoever was listening that you wouldn't have to use it.

The other Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, and Ravenclaws follow your lead and stand protectively around Harry before Filch abruptly marched in, but you couldn't bring yourself to listen to him as you examined Blaise who seemed indifferent about the situation.

“Wait! As it turns out, Mr. Filch, your arrival is most opportune. If you would, I'd like you to lead Miss Parkinson and the rest of Slytherin House from the Hall.”

Your gaze quickly flashed towards Professor McGonagall before looking back to your frowning boyfriend.

“Right away,” Filch suddenly halted before questioning the head of Gryffindor once again, “Er, exactly where is it I'd be leadin' em to, ma'am?”

“The dungeons should do,” while the other students cheered as the Slytherins were taken to the dungeon, you felt an apprehensive feeling crawl over you as you watched Blaise desperately looking at you.

Perhaps he had known that the inevitable was going to happen, and he didn't want you to be in the middle of the battlefield without his protection.

After all, you still were a Gryffindor through and through. And unfortunately, your house was particularly known for its impulsiveness, which was a trait that you shared.

You watched stoically as Blaise disappeared from your sight before moving towards your father and your stepmother.

Remus kissed the top of your head, while Nymphadora pulled you into a firm hug. You inhaled her vanilla and candy-like scent, which soothed you extensively before pulling away and joining Neville and the rest of the DA.

You were assisting Cho, Nigel, and Katie while Seamus ordered you around in placing magical 'charges' on key pressure points.

Your body stilled when you noticed Scabior and the Snatchers moving towards you and Neville.

“Not good,” you heard Neville mumble before you took his arm and sprinted as fast as you could while Ginny and Seamus were standing at the edge of the wooden bridge.

Even though you knew you should have been more concerned about Scabior and the Snatchers, who were about to catch up to you any instant, you felt the terror seep into your body as you caught a maniacal gleam in Seamus’ eyes.

Fortunately, you were quick enough to reach the duo in time before the bridge ultimately collapsed.

But when you turned around, you noticed that Neville had suddenly disappeared. Ginny gasped beside you as your mouth fell scarcely open and your eyes widened.

The moment seemingly lasted forever before charred fingernails appeared over the final remaining of the bridge.

You let out a sigh of relief before you and Ginny rushed to hoist Neville up onto what's left of the bridge.

“What?” The youngest Weasley asked as Neville glanced at you.

“That was quite exciting,” you let out a groan as Seamus grinned and winked at him.

“Mad. The both of you,” Ginny declared before a thundering rumble almost send Neville tumbling off the bridge again.

Ginny steadies him as you all peer into the distance, noticing that the reason of the small earthquake were giants.

You quickly said your goodbyes before you dashed off to help fight off the death eaters, while Ginny and Neville parted ways with Seamus.

And while you were fighting for your life, Blaise had been stuck in the dungeons with a harsh glare on his face as he stared holes into the grinning Filch.

“Night-tee night,” Blaise felt like he could slaughter the man right then and there, but quietly watched as Pansy cursed him.

“You let us out of here, you filthy squib!” Filch only grinned, shaking the ring of keys in his hand, and turned to walk away.

When he was a fair distance away the chamber began to tremble, but with each step, it got more violent. Suddenly plaster rained down, and a ragged hole opens in the ceiling, followed by multiple others before a massive eye peered inside which made some Slytherins scream.

The giant's fist dropped heavily through the hole, fingers probing the cell clumsily. Filch watched in horror as the cell fell to pieces and the Slytherins spilled forth.

Goyle ruthlessly flung Housemates aside, while Blaise followed in his wake. Ready to start searching for you throughout the whole castle, even if it would take him the entire night.

As they reached the safety of the corridor, a hand — this one of human scale — reaches out of the darkness and grabbed Goyle.

Blaise stifled his groan at the sight of Draco Malfoy before following him, desperately hoping that they would come across someone who could notify him of your whereabouts.

Before Blaise comprehended what was occurring, he was perched atop a fragile tower while fire consumed everything around him.

He had lost his wand earlier on and thought that this would be it before Ron and Harry flew towards him and Draco on brooms.

He quickly took Ron's outstretched hand and mounted the broom while listening to Ron complaining about it under his breath.

Blaise suppressed his eye roll because Ron Weasley did save his life.

While Ron flew them to safety, he couldn't stop himself from asking about you. The words were scorching him, and he desperately ought to know the answer.

“Where's Y/n?” His voice was steady, but if you listened close enough, then you would perhaps have heard his urgency.

Ron quickly glanced at him with a scoff before replying.

“I don't know. I haven't seen her since the start of this.”

But as Ron glimpsed at Blaise's despairing expression, he felt himself blurt something out.

“She went with Ginny and Neville,” he timidly said, which lit Blaise's eyes once again before Ron landed the two of them safely.

Blaise awkwardly thanked Ron before dashing off in the hope to find you.

You had scratches all over your face, your nose was probably broken, and you were convinced that your left pinky was about to fall off.

You tried to shrug it off as you continued fighting off the infinite death eaters.

Much to your solace, you found your dad and stepmom and quickly approached them while fending off the enemy.

But your relief was exceptionally brief when Antonin Dolohov ultimately killed your father.

You heard your heart pounding loudly in your ears as the light left your father's eyes.

You could hear Nymphadora's heartbreaking cry before you charged at Dolohov ruthlessly before you killed the man.

While you were able to kill Antonin Dolohov, you knew that it was partially because he had been diverted and hadn't seen you coming.

You were about to approach your father's body but abruptly halted when you noticed Bellatrix Lestrange standing a little further from you, inclining to kill Nymphadora.

No sound came from your throat as Bellatrix neared your stepmom who was wailing over her dead husband's body, not caring whether she was open for attacks.

You noticed out of the corner of your eye Kingsley Shacklebolt attempting to reach Nymphadora in time, but you knew he was too far away to do anything.

Nymphadora looked up at the sound of Kingsley yelling at her, but she felt like she couldn't move as Bellatrix moved toward her at an extraordinarily rapid pace.

You quickly made your mind up as you ran right towards the merciless death eater, your wand having been discarded somewhere along the way of killing Dolohov.

Your body collided with Bellatrix' as you made an effort to shove her off the edge of the castle.

Unfortunately, she yanked you with her before she quickly apparated to safety.

It felt like everything was going in slow motion as you caught a glimpse of Kingsley and your stepmom leaning over the edge while they screamed your name at the top of their lungs as tears streamed down Nymphadora's cheek as she watched you plunge to your death.

You felt yourself relaxing as you realized that you had saved Nymphadora and that she would have an opportunity to survive this and go home to Teddy.

You quickly accepted your death, as your final thoughts were of Blaise Zabini.

You particularly thought about the feeling of when you woke up next to him in your dorm.

The sunlight bled through the curtains around your bed as you felt Blaise's heartbeat steadily thumping beneath you.

You remembered the adoring look on his face as you kissed him softly while your limbs were tangled together.

Your last thoughts were of Blaise before your body shut down when it collided with the ground.

Nymphadora remembered the determination on your face when she looked up to see you charging at Bellatrix to save her.

She remembered the anguish she felt when her maternal aunt pulled you down with her.

She remembered how she scattered to her feet before taking off towards the edge with Kingsley right next to her as she shrieked your name, desperate to see you one more time.

She remembered the heartbreak she felt when your eyes softened, and you looked peaceful, almost relieved, as you fell to your death while the stars were reflected in your eyes.

Kingsley had to haul her away while Arthur looked at her with sorrow in his eyes.

Minerva McGonagall's face twisted into pure horror when she heard the sound of bones breaking.

She quickly spun around only to see you dead on the floor with your eyes hauntingly staring into her soul as the corner of your lips had been turned upwards.

A gasp left her body as a single tear fell from her eye before hurrying over to you.

She crouched next to you, taking you into her arms but had no option but to leave you there.

The castle still roamed with death eaters, giants, and whatnot, and she couldn't afford to be vulnerable at a time like this, besides she was way too old to be carrying bodies around, so she quickly promised your dead body that she would return as soon as possible.

Only after Voldemort's defeat did McGonagall remember about you again and instantly asked Wood to assist her to pick up your body.

Oliver let out a shallow breath as he halted next to your body. You hadn't been moved because you had fallen into a relatively peaceful area where there wasn't much damage done.

He quickly glanced at the head of the Gryffindor house with a shaken look on his face before seizing your body.

Your head lolled against his shoulders and your arm limply hung from your body as Oliver carried you to the great hall, where most of the bodies were placed.

When he entered the Great Hall, he noticed some people throwing pitiful looks at you in his arms as he brought you to a free spot.

Just as he was about to place you down he heard someone let out a miserable sob before turning to your stepmom who hadn't left Remus his side since the war had ended.

He carefully put you on a blanket as Nymphadora fell down next to your body. He took this as his que to leave, but not before giving one last tragic look at your corpse.

Neville, Ginny, Seamus, Harry, Hermione, and Ron immediately ran towards you when they noticed your body being brought in.

Neville closed his eyes as tears escaped them while he remembered how lively you had looked hours prior.

Hermione leaned into Ron as salty wet tears streamed down her face as she hiccuped slightly while Seamus stared at you with horror and misery.

At a sudden point during the battle did Blaise find Neville and Luna, but when he questioned them about your whereabouts he came out with nothing.

His hopes started to falter after he had practically scoured the whole castle.

After Voldemort's defeat, he had followed the Malfoy's into the great hall and quietly sat there as he observed the doors, hoping for you to come through them.

He had asked all of your friends by now where you were, but none of them knew. Blaise had even looked at all the bodies to ensure that you weren't dead.

Later on, Draco and his mother had already left, but Blaise didn't dare to move his eyes from the gate.

His eyes glanced towards a small commotion that had been around one of the bodies that had just been brought in by Oliver Wood and professor McGonagall.

When he looked closer, he noticed that it were your friends. Even your stepmother was there as she sat on the ground while crying her eyes out.

He quickly came to realize that it couldn't be a coincidence.

'No'

He kept repeating the word as he quickly jumped up and neared the group, but he felt his heart in his throat when he recognized your messy y/h/c hair and your favorite red sweater that you had been wearing earlier that night when he saw you.

His eyes widened as he pushed through your friends, who threw sympathetic looks as he collapsed next to your body.

The war hadn't been kind to you. Your nose was broken and dried blood stained your upper lip. You had multiple scratches and gashes along your body, and blood stained the blanket that you were laying on, indicating that there was a wound on the back of your head.

Your fingers were covered in grime and blood, but he could make out that you missed one finger.

Blaise clutched to your body refusing to let you go as tears fell from his eyes, not caring about the blood that was tainting his clothes.

He sat there for hours, refusing to leave you as the stream of tears seemed endless.

At a certain point, they had placed your father’s body next to you, but he paid him no mind.

Most students had been leaving the Great Hall, but he remained next to you while Nymphadora watched him sadly.

He felt like his life ended the moment he found your body, but his thoughts were cut off by a hand being placed on his shoulder.

His eyes glanced towards the owner, who happened to be Nymphadora. She sat down next to him while trying to keep her tears at bay.

“What happened?” Blaise's voice was quivering and hoarse, his hands trembled, and he was terrified of the answer.

“I- Y/n found me and R-Remus at a certain point during the battle. Remus had just been killed by Antonin Dolohov so she avenged him by killing Dolohov. After her fight with him she-uhm, she lost her wand. While I was grieving over Remus I was oblivious to Bellatrix who was planning to kill me,” Blaise let out a shuddered breath as he knew where this was going to but kept quiet.

“She charged at Bellatrix and pushed her off the castle, but Bellatrix pulled her with her. During their fall, Bellatrix managed to apparatus. Even though Y/n didn’t kill her, she saved my life,” Nymphadora was full-on sobbing now as the memory seemed like an endless loop.

“What-what happened to Bellatrix?” Blaise felt anger fill his body as he spat out the name of the woman who had partially killed his Y/n.

“Molly killed her.”

Blaise nodded but remained quiet as he grieved you with your stepmother silently. But he was sure that he wouldn’t be able to recover from this, from your death.

The Witcher (Tissaia / Yennefer)

1. Ciri is Tissaia’s child of surprise, not Geralt’s. When it comes time for her to accept this, she seeks out assistance from the only powerful mage she knows that wants children, Yennefer.

2. Tissaia comes back to speak with Yennefer while she is still in Rhinde. She has found a possible cure for Yennefer’s barrenness.

3. Yennefer is the daughter of a king at of the Northen Kingdoms, that falls in love with her father’s mage, Tissaia de Vries.

4. Yennefer is doused with a lust potion gone wrong by the older classmates at Aretuza. She will lose her mind unless she sleeps with someone, but the idiots that doused her didn’t take her elven blood into account, and instead of a lust spell, she can only be satisfied by her truest match—her soul mate. Tissaia does not sleep with students. Even ones she’s fated to. But to save Yennefer’s life she will. But only if she and Yennefer never remember what’s happened.

5. Time travel write up for season 4. Yennefer goes back in time with the help of the monolith book to save Tissaia. But it’s like the butterfly effect. And Tissaia keeps dying.

To Begin Again

FIVE

Summary: You're a new teacher at a large and influential school. It's a risky step for you, as you've been running from your ex for almost two years. But when Dumbledore asks you to take on a class at the renowned Hogwarts, you can't refuse. However, your life as a newly arrived teacher won't be easy. Especially when the other teachers don't seem eager to make friends. Or rather, two teachers in particular: Sirius Black and Remus Lupin.

Author's Note: Welcome, dear readers. Please leave your comments if you enjoy fanfiction. This fanfic takes place almost in the real world (with the addition of werewolves) and is not a wizarding fanfic. There will be some differences and changes in things from the Harry Potter story or other fanfics in the HP universe, but I promise to do my best writing this fanfic. There will be a love triangle coming in this fanfic.

FOUR SIX

You almost can't believe you managed to carry Remus back to Hogwarts. It's hard enough to imagine carrying him on your back anyway, but he's naked, which makes everything so much more difficult. When you manage to reach the entrance of Hogwarts, the stares follow you everywhere. Worried staff, confused students, and especially McGonagall. She orders everyone to return to their tasks and asks one of the staff members who was accompanying her to take Remus to the infirmary. She says Madam Pomfrey is already taking care of Sirius's injuries, so she'll know how to handle Remus. Fortunately, you manage to cover Lupin's naked body with the coat you were wearing last night. So maybe you didn't traumatize any children.

"You'll need medical attention as well. Accompany this young man who's taking Remus. Is there anything I need to know before releasing you to tend to your injuries, Miss Y/L/N?" McGonagall asks, approaching you. For a moment, you wonder if handing over Remus is an option. But it doesn't feel right. You don't want anything bad to happen to him. So you feel like you need to lie. You raise your head to a height that seems confident about what you're going to say.

"I and Remus were attacked by an animal. In fact, Sirius was too. It seems worse than it actually was. We saw an animal coming towards us and fell into the lake. The animal ran far away. Sirius got separated from us and must have come here.'' You speak hesitantly, unsure if talking about an animal will get Lupin in trouble. But it's the best excuse you can come up with.

"That doesn't explain Mr. Lupin being naked. Are you sure you're telling me the whole truth?" McGonagall speaks while scrutinizing you. If you don't say something convincing, you might get into trouble. It's your first month at Hogwarts; you can't afford to mess up.

"There's a romantic involvement that wasn't mentioned to spare your feelings, ma'am. This involvement resulted in the loss of clothing. Now, if you'd like more details…" You speak, knowing that mentioning sex makes almost everyone uncomfortable. Clearly, you had to summon your courage to suggest that you were romantically involved with two professors. But at least for now, that topic is dropped.

"You won't need to, Miss Y/L/N. Although Professor Dumbledore doesn't prohibit relationships among staff members, I suggest you simply be cautious. You're dismissed to go to the infirmary, and take the rest of the day off. Inform your other companions that they have the day off as well." McGonagall speaks, then heads off in a certain direction. She seemed a bit embarrassed, but you don't regret inventing that story. At least not now. You then walk towards where you saw the school staff member taking Remus. After about three minutes of trying to find the infirmary, you finally locate it. As you enter the room, there's a lady in medical attire tending to Lupin, who now looks clean and appears to be receiving an IV drip. He remains unconscious, but the monitors attached to him seem to indicate that he's alive. Beside his bed, you see a bandaged Sirius, looking worriedly at his friend. Or boyfriend, or whatever they are to each other. You particularly don't know what they are to each other. Until he looks at you. You're not sure if he's going to be grateful for you having saved him or if he's going to be mad for having attacked Lupin. Although you don't think he knows what you did to bring Remus down while he was in his werewolf form.

"You…" It's all Sirius says before coming towards you and hugging you. Such a warm embrace that you don't even mind that he's hurting your back a little. You just feel grateful that he's giving you comfort.

"You… Are you okay? You look pretty banged up." You say as you're still hugging. Sirius chuckles, and you even find his laughter adorable.

"I've never been better. My arm was stitched up. But our beloved Lupin isn't doing so well. Pomfrey here said he probably needs to rest all day." He says, pointing to the woman taking care of Remus. He turns very gently to look at you and immediately stands up. Maybe she hadn't noticed that you're all battered until she looked closer. Poor thing, having to take care of three people in one day.

"Dear, you need some bandages. Mr. Black, if you could excuse us." Madam Pomfrey says as she takes out the box of medications and bandages, gesturing for you to remove the clothing covering your wounds. Sirius heads to the hallway and closes the door. You fear he might find out through some gossip that apparently you, him, and Remus were romantically involved yesterday. Pomfrey tends to your wounds with a certain delicacy. After finishing the bandages, she gives you a pain reliever and says you'll probably feel better tomorrow. You doubt it very much, but thank her for her care. Before leaving the infirmary, you approach Remus. Your hand grips his tightly. You don't say anything, unsure of what you could say, but hold his hand firmly in the hope that he knows you're there.

"So, does that mean Remus and I are having an affair with you? And when were you planning on letting me know about that?" Black says as soon as you leave the infirmary. He seems a bit angry, and you look at him impatiently.

"If you haven't noticed, I haven't had much time for conversations. I mean, you wanted me to tell you that to avoid compromising you-know-who, I had to say that we were… you know. Romantically involved?" You respond, grabbing Sirius's uninjured arm and pushing him into an empty room where you can have this conversation.

"You couldn't have been more creative? Or was this your plan all along? I don't think you'll get Remus's attention this way, or mine if that's what you're after. I should warn you, neither of us likes games." You don't like the fact that he's suggesting you did this on purpose. You approach Sirius, staring at him seriously, practically face to face, apart from the fact that he's taller than you.

"You must be very confident to think I'd play games to win you over. Know that I have zero interest in you or Remus. I wanted to help, but I see now that I made a big mistake. Don't worry, I'll announce the truth to Hogwarts right away and let you and Lupin deal with the consequences." You speak angrily and then move to leave the room. But Black holds your waist with a surprising precision. Not only the fact that he can hold you using only one hand surprises you, but also the fact that he pulls you closer to him. Too close, in your opinion. You stare at him in confusion until his injured hand moves toward your face and delicately touches your lips. You close your eyes, expecting a kiss. But you end up waiting, because Sirius lets go of your waist and runs out of the room. You wonder what you should do – chase after him or pretend that nothing happened?

After a few moments to contemplate your options, you decide to go after the students who helped you last night. After all, you're probably the only one who knows what happened. You walk briskly through almost all of Hogwarts hoping to find them. Then, as you approach the students' dormitory, you hear Harry's voice shouting for Ron to stop. When you investigate, you're surprised to see Harry Potter holding back Ron Weasley, preventing him from hitting Draco Malfoy. All the while, Hermione is moving toward Draco and helping him up from the ground.

"Which one of you wants to explain what's going on?" Your voice echoes through the room, and the four of them quickly gather in front of you. You won't admit it, but you're quite relieved that it's no longer a fight between Potter and Malfoy.

"This idiot was the one responsible for almost getting us killed yesterday, and now he's here gloating about hitting a damn…" Ron Weasley says, pointing at Malfoy, who has a smug smile on his face.

"I'm not to blame for your lousy aim, Weasley. Maybe next time you make a bet, you won't feel so bad about losing it." Malfoy laughs, but once he notices your serious expression, he stifles the laughter.

"You idiots, admitting we broke rules right in front of the teacher." Potter speaks and spontaneously gives Malfoy and Weasley a small slap on the head.

"Harry, it's not like she doesn't know. She was there, remember?" Hermione promptly reminds him of this fact, and you let out a big sigh, thinking that you could be kissing Sirius… You mean, resting instead of dealing with these four troublemakers.

"Well remembered, smartass. Which means the teacher can't punish us because we know she must have something to hide too." Malfoy speaks all pompous, and you laugh. Then you look seriously at the four of them.

"Why were you all outside yesterday, and what's the reason for today's fight?" You ask as you analyze your students.

"But there was another act that required courage, which was when we hit that monster in the forest so it wouldn't attack you." Draco says, exchanging looks of pure hatred with Ron. Then Potter pulls Malfoy back and seems to calm things down a bit.

"So Draco and Ron are fighting to see who's the coward and who's the brave one here." Harry says, and you wonder if your students will ever stop getting into trouble.

"You shouldn't risk your lives out there, even to save me. Or for a bet. I'll be grateful to you for helping me, but I swear if I hear about this bet nonsense, I'll send all four of you to the headmaster's office. You were all brave but incredibly irresponsible. You could have died. A lot of courage and little reasoning is just foolishness. Understand that. Now go do something more productive with your free time." You speak, looking at the four of them, and even though they look less than thrilled, they head to the Hogwarts library.

Once you finished talking to them, you headed to your room. You took a good shower and slept for a few hours, only to wake up and realize that you had soaked all your bandages. Fatigue had made you inattentive. So, you quietly made your way through Hogwarts. You went to the infirmary, only to be startled to find Remus not lying in his bed. Not wanting to cause panic, you hurriedly walked through various places within Hogwarts until you wondered where you would go if you had woken up after the night Remus had. You made your way to the Hogwarts kitchen. And there he was, looking worn out while eating a plate of food.

"I don't think you should be here alone." You say to Lupin, who smiles when he sees you but then lets out a strained groan of pain.

"Then keep me company." Remus responds, gently tapping the side of the table where he's sitting, inviting you to join him essentially. You're not sure if you will.

"I… I'm not sure if it's right." You speak softly, a bit hesitant. Suddenly, a shyness takes over you. However, as you avoid looking directly at Remus, he slowly rises from the table and approaches you.

"Is this because you afraid of me? Afraid that I might hurt you?" Remus asks, and you can sense that he's uncomfortable with the possibility of making you fear him. You look up, locking eyes with him. Your gaze becomes fixed on his, and you feel a tension building between you. Until you gently embrace him.

"I'm not afraid of you, Remus Lupin." You say as you pull back slightly after embracing him. However, you can't seem to move away from him. Nor can he from you. And there's something in what you just said that carries weight. Anyone would fear being so close to someone who can transform into something dangerous, but you seem to understand that there's a separation between the one who attacked you and the one in front of you. Naturally, you and Remus end up kissing. It's a gentle kiss, yet full of passion. Not that you planned it. It just happened. You taste his lips on yours and wonder if you could stay like this for eternity. Remus holds you, guiding you to deepen the kiss. There's something so comforting about being in his arms.

"Am I interrupting something?" You both stop kissing as soon as you hear Sirius say that. Damn. This situation just keeps getting more complicated by the moment.
