Bellamy and Octavia’s homelife is incredibly unstable and one night Clarke Griffin finds them in the tree house her dad built her. She doesn’t ask them to leave, but instead goes inside and brings out some blankets and some hot chocolate for the two. Bell reads the Iliad to O to calm her down and she falls asleep wrapped up in his oversized jacket and one of the blankets Clarke had just gotten. Clarke also listens and falls asleep with her head on his lap. He looks down at her curiously, this stranger who welcomed them so easily, unbeknownst to him that she’s the love of his life

there’s a line in taylor swift’s “hoax” that goes like:

“you know the hero died so what’s the movie for”

and that basically sums up how i feel right now. Like Bellamy Blake was quite frankly the heart of this show and having him die a traitor’s death at the hands of the woman he loves/who loves him literally destroyed everything up until this point. Moreover, this same sentiment applies to Clarke because this honestly feels like absolute character assassination as well as completely forgetting KEY moments that happened in s6 that should have influenced s7.
