How you two got into the relationship

The way you first met was not the best considering the fact you thought her and Joel were fedra so you may have thrown her but it was on a couch so she didn’t get hurt. After that you all went together to Jackson, over time Ellie definitely warmed up to you.

Now after everything with David she would definitely let her emotions run through and take over once you were taken somewhere else.

The moment she sees you she’s speechless and just hugs you and holds your face. She was scared because she though you died. She pulls in and kisses you. The immediate fear on her face after that is because she thinks you don’t love her.

She tries walking away and apologizing but you pull her in for another kiss and tell her you love her.

You make it official later that day when you two are alone and cleaning each other's wounds.

Now for the headcanons

She’s definitely very protective of you even if you can easily protect yourself.

She’ll lecture you if you make a dumb decision and almost get bit, she’s not trying to be mean, she just cares about you too much to see you die.

Words of Affirmation is definitely one of Ellie’s love languages that she loves. She loves when you tell her you love her or that she did a great job at something.

Also she’ll never admit it but she loves when you compliment her.

She’s very protective of you, you have to be in her eye view or have a hand on you at all times.

I feel like she definitely is not a physical touch person except for you and maybe Joel.

She would definitely get jealous not because she thinks you will cheat, it's just that she doesn't think that she’s good enough for you.

You would have to later inform her that the person you talked to was not better than her, she would definitely get embarrassed after but I mean she got the confirmation.

Definitely the type to after a long day just plop down on your chest and fall asleep.

If Ellie sees you sad or if she’s bored at night she would definitely read her pun book to you.

She is definitely a hugger/ heavy cuddler like you would have to tell her something because she is hugging you while your doing something.

I feel like Ellie would both a big spoon and little spoon, some nights she wants to hold you and some nights she needs you to hold her.

Idk why I always think of this but I feel like Ellie would not be a good cook like to the point that she is banned from the stove and because she almost lit the house on fire.

You were not an avid coffee drinker, you hardly ever drank it. That was until Jamie, your best friend, asked you to go to a coffee shop with her on a Saturday morning.  Jamie said that she planned to study, but you both knew that you would actually just gossip the entire time. Nonetheless you grabbed your laptop and texted her that you were on your way. 

When you got there you saw Jamie had already sat down and ordered you both coffee. She was sitting facing the door, so when you sat down you were facing the bar. As you took a seat you looked at the decor in the coffee shop and allowed yourself to enjoy the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The lights weren’t horrifically bright and the chairs were all mixed matched. There were also different pride flags littering the walls. You smile to yourself and take a sip of the drink Jamie had bought for you. 

The two of you sat there chatting for a bit before the cute barista caught your eye, and suddenly whatever Jamie was saying was unimportant. The barista was probably around your age and had a rainbow pin on their apron alongside a name tag that you couldn’t read. 

“Y/n, are you even listening to me?” Jamie asked, she was talking about something stupid the guy she liked did. 

“Huh? Oh, yeah totally.” You responded, shaking your head and looking at your friend.

“You are such a liar, you were totally checking them out!” Jamie turned to look behind her to look at the barista. 

Your body felt hot with embarrassment, “Was not! Turn back around you little freak.” 

Jamie turned back to face you, laughing, “Whatever you tell yourself.” 

You ignore her teasing and grab the drink in front of you, trying to occupy yourself in something that wasn’t the burning of your face. 

A week later Jamie takes you to the coffee shop again, this time claiming she “will convert you to the coffee addiction.” But you think you know her intentions, she wouldn’t stop bothering you about the cute barista all of that week. 

The morning had been slow, unlike most Saturday mornings. Bella watched as a girl walked in and sat across from her friend, they watched as the girl laughed with her friend. 

“You’re staring, it’s kinda freaky.” Pedro, commented. 

Bella’s face began to burn, and they hoped if Pedro noticed he wasn’t going to say anything, “Am not.” 

It was a blatant lie, the scarlet coating their cheeks proves them wrong. Pedro just laughs at the teen in front of him.

“Whatever you say kid.” Pedro patted them on the back before going back to his task. 

During the next month, you and Jamie became a Saturday and Sunday morning regular. Jamie would come in anywhere five to fifteen minutes before you, order two drinks and sit facing the door. Then you would come in, sometimes slightly disheveled, then you would wave to Bella as they greeted you and take your seat across from your friend. 

Bella would notice that you always pulled out a laptop but you never opened it, it sat there closed as the two of you talked and laughed. Pedro would have called them a stalker for noticing the details, but Bella just claimed it was people watching, which definitely sounded less creepy in their head.

That was your routine for three weeks, until one day you came in alone. Jamie had gotten the flu, and you decided that you were going to continue your weekend routine. You packed your laptop and notebook in your bag and made your way to the coffee shop you’ve come to love. 

Bella felt disappointment bloom in their chest when they realized that your friend had not come in yet this morning, and neither of you had shown up yet. Jamie always talked too long and rambled too much to be socially acceptable but Bella enjoyed those kinds of interactions. Jame had introduced herself and mentioned that she was trying to convert her friend (you) into a coffee drinker

The disappointment quickly left the moment they saw you walk through the door, you sat your bag down at a table before walking to the bar. 

“Hi, what can I get started for you?” Bella asks, smiling. 

Your brain shut off, you had relied on Jamie the past month to order drinks, “Oh jeez, um what would you recommend?”

They think for a moment, “My go to is an iced latte with oat milk.” 

“Alright, I’ll do that.” You say, smiling. 

“Perfect, can I get your name?” Bella asks, grabbing a cup to write your name on it. 

“Y/n.” You reply. 

“Y/n,” Bella repeats and makes sure to spell it correctly, double checking with you, “It’ll be out in a few moments.” They smile at you.

“Wait, how much is it?” You ask, confused. 

“Nothing.” Bella responded, moving to make the drink. 

“Nothing?” You ask appalled. 

“Mhm, I recall it’s the pretty girl discount. It’s in the rule book, pretty girls can’t pay for their drinks.” They look at you as they say this, causing your face to heat up. 

“What? It definitely does not.” You argue. 

“Oh it definitely does, I’ve read it through twice actually. I can show you where it says it in the handbook, over lunch? At hmm three?” Bella finishes making the drink and hands it to you as they finish speaking. 

“Did you just ask me out?” You ask. 

“Only if the answer is yes, if not? Then no, not ever in my life.” It was their turn to blush.

The words rush out of your mouth, “The answer is definitely yes.” 

Bella smiles and nods, “So lunch at three?” 

“It’s a date.” You smile.

it would start with small hints they’d give you.

whenever you two were in an interview promoting the new series, bella would wait for you to sit first and then take the seat next to you to be close.

if that wasn't possible, they would steal glances at you from time to time but look away immediately the moment you catch them, pretending to be interested in the conversation with the rest of the cast.

when the interviewer asked you a question, all their attention would go to you and your soft voice.

bella wouldn’t even notice their actions. the need to take anything you gave them was almost natural.

they would unconsciously agree with whatever you said about the series and found themselves leaning forward to your direction whenever you spoke.

while being off screen, bella would try to start conversation with you. it was only a matter of time for you to start going out on your free days.

you two had so much fun together.

you would go out on little dates almost every day to the point fans started to ship you.

bella wouldn’t admit it, but they were secretly thrilled when someone mistook you as a couple. they would look for edits and save them in their secret tiktok acc.

when the nicknames started, you got each other kicking your feet and giggling on the inside.

while you called them “love”, they called you “babe” and “darling”. you both assumed it wasn’t serious but deep down wished it was.

you became their comfort person.

bella would find peace in resting their head on your shoulder while playing with your fingers.

some other times, they would hug you from behind while laying on the couch to watch a movie. they ADORED having you in their arms.

you would fall asleep quickly after bella started running their fingers through your hair. they just had that power over you. they made you feel safe.

the idea of ruining your friendship and loosing you was way too much for bella. but they didn’t know what to do with the feelings they had towards you.

one day you would be outside on a date. you two tried to be as cautious as you could in order not to be recognized but the moment you heard your names being yelled, you realized you’ve failed.

pictures were being taken and fans quickly surrounded you. after the massive success of the series, the number of people who recognized you was so much bigger and it took you by surprise.

it was overwhelming.

you tried to put on a smile but the screams and phones being put on your face were too much to handle. bella noticed it.

they interlocked your fingers while holding your hand and that made you look at them. their gentle smile let you know it was okay, they were there with you.

that was enough to calm you down a bit. bella made their way through the people while repeating “sorry” and “excuse me”.

“y/n! bella! are you a couple now?” one of the fans asked and everyone there could hear it.

similar questions about whether or not you were in a romantic relationship were the only thing you both could hear and it made bella uncomfortable.

not of the thought of it. they just didn’t want to have that conversation with you because they knew they wouldn’t be able to lie about their feelings to you.

the way home was silent apart from casual comments and the background music from the radio.

when you arrived to their apartment, you didn’t know what to say. you noticed how bella reacted to the questions and couldn’t help feeling insecure.

“are you okay?” you finally asked them, looking for their eyes while playing with your fingers.

bella was deep in thoughts as well. considering every moment with you till then, debating whether or not it was the right moment.

“yeah, i… it just took me by surprise” they answered with a soft tone before gazing at the floor while you nodded in silence.

“if you… uh, you wanna talk about it?” hearing your voice shaking made them worry and look at you instantly. “i understand that it made you uncomfortable and i’m so sorry. i can post something o-or say something in an interview. i’m so sorry”

bella’s heart broke at the sight of you and was desperate to comfort you. they closed the space between you and held your hands gently.

“what? no! no… baby, that isn’t-“ they stopped themselves. how could they possible explain what they were feeling without risking everything?

“it’s not that i feel uncomfortable because of what they said. i just… i don’t know how to explain this” bella started again but couldn’t find the correct words and it made you tilt you head in confusion.

“is something else going on?” your doe eyes looked at theirs and bella sighed shyly looking down. they could never hide something from you, if you looked at them like that.

“you can talk to me, whatever it is” you reassured them while caressing their hand.

“i don’t think i can” bella’s eyes finally found yours and you both noticed how close your faces were.

your voices were as low as whispers, creating such an intimate moment. you were worried you may be mistaking the situation but you couldn’t possibly move away for them now.

“y/n?”

their eyes took every detail of your face to keep them in their memory, fearing it could be the last time.

“yes?”

the butterflies in your stomach were going crazy with every second that passed.

“i like you.”

they confessed with closed eyes and a fast-beating heart that was about to explode off their chest.

there was a big amount of ten seconds of silence before a small giggle left your mouth. bella opened their eyes in confusion only to find yours glowing in happiness, stealing a nervous smile from their lips.

“i like you too” you replied with the sweetest smile only for and because of them.

your soft fingers traced their cheek as if their factions were made of glass, earning a sigh of relief from them and you noticed little tears in their eyes.

“i’m not dreaming, am i?” bella said with their adorable accent and cute smile and you knew you couldn’t wait another second.

your arms found their way around their neck while their hands instantly moved to hold your waist and pull you close till your foreheads were touching.

you two stayed like that for a little while, just enjoying the moment. you waited for too long.

“kiss me, dummy”

that needy whisper was enough for bella to close the small space between your lips, putting an end to their suffering.

they could swear they saw colors exploding the moment you kissed. your hands were playing with their hair and only then they knew they were addicted to it. bella was addicted to you.

the kiss would end with giggles from both of you. the realization of your feelings being mutual these whole time was funny then.

it lasted less than a minute because the need to kiss you again was bigger and their lips found their way back to yours as if they were their destined to be.

bella would be pure joy.

hugging you and hiding their face in your neck to smell their favorite scent and cherish you finally being in their arms as something more than a friend.

Bella was sitting in the kitchen island eating her cereal like every morning. Suddenly, you show up on the kitchen with your phone on your hands. Bella couldn't see it, but you were already recording. 

"Babe, are you busy?", you asked. 

"No, why?" 

"I wanna show you something I learned, I think you're gonna love it", you smiled, and they just nodded. 

You positioned your phone on the balcony. Bella looked at the screen and realized that they were showing up on the corner of the screen, but it didn't bother them. They knew you liked to record tiktoks and they even found it cute. It wasn't like you were making tiktoks with them all the time, but occasionally you liked to try those couple trends. 

But then: Bella's worst nightmare. "Percentages" started to play, and they watched as you copied the exact same choreography as the video. 

They covered their eyes for a moment, not believing that you had found that video. Then, they went back to watch you dancing to the music. 

"Oh gosh, please don't", Bella got up and stopped right behind you, but you continued to dance. 

You could see her face on the screen and couldn't hold your laughter, but you tried your best to remember every move. 

"Oh my gosh, stop!", Bella touched your shoulder, but you didn't stop, so they proceeded to hold your waist, making you laugh even more. "Stoooop it!" 

You finally stopped dancing and turned to face them. 

"You liked it?", you asked. 

Bella stared at your pinky cheeks from the dancing. Their arms were still holding you close, and your faces were close now. God, you were just perfect. They smiled while staring at your lips. 

"You're an idiot."

absolutely yes i can, just hope whatever i come up with is what you had in mind :)

- Hands. Ever since they first caught you staring at their hands they've been constantly doing things to try and make you flustered. She sometimes "accidentally" brushes her hands against your arm, or your thigh, or your neck. He tucks stray hairs behind your ear or innocently grazes your neck with his cold fingers, knowing exactly what they're doing. They constantly gesture when they talk, although somehow they've picked up the habit of doing it even more around you. Casually grabbing your hands during conversation or resting her hand on your knee while you talk, it all drives you crazy and you're starting to suspect it isn't all so innocent after all.

      -  Physical touch, they love touching you all the time. Hugs, kisses, just tangling their hands in your hair when you're watching a movie or holding hands in public. She loves the little things like snaking an arm around you waist when the two of you stand together, or planting soft kisses all over your face in the mornings, they never let you have a single second when they're not clinging to you, and frankly, you love it.

       - Again with the clingy-ness. He doesn't like being away from you for long. They bring you to interviews, parties, hell even when she's filming for a show or a movie they try to bring you on set with them. Whenever he has to be away for longer than a day, and even then, the two of you FaceTime almost constantly, you tell them all about your day and she tells you all about hers. You would talk to each other so much that he'd end up leaving his phone on a chair to let you watch as they performed and recorded scenes. Of course, when she returns from her trips, you always wait for them at the airport or wherever they get off and once they come out of the gate you're bombarded by hugs and kisses and promises that he'll never leave you again; Which of course, you know that isn't true, people have to work and pursue their passions and you wouldn't dare stand in the way of them being happy, but in the moment, it's just comforting to have him back in your arms after so long (probably less than 48 hours tbh)

- He likes to annoy you, it ties in with the clingy-ness really, but they just absolutely love making you flustered and bothering you with whatever's on their mind at the moment. Of course, you would never tell her for fear that she'd stop, but you love it when she "bothers" you. You would be walking around your apartment, bored out of your mind and they would come right up to you, calling you cheesy nicknames or making dad jokes and smiling proudly to themselves at making you laugh.

"Sweetheart? What does a bee brush its hair with?" They would yell from the kitchen, fighting a giggle as they did so.

"I don't know, what is it?" You would yell back, already knowing the answer but not wanting to spoil her fun.

"A honeycomb!" He'd say in response, before immediately bursting into a fit of laughter.

With them, it was always the little things, and you would never, ever stop loving that about them.

by the time the scene ends you're giving bella a soft punch on her shoulder. he winces, eyebrows furrowing. "what is that for?!"

"for making me butcher my scene," you shove her slightly. "i'll get back at you. just you wait."

they rolls their eyes at your threat, because they’re pulling on your belt loops, dirt on his face and hair all messy and tangled. they’re still handsome — freakishly attractive, even, as she kisses you as an apology.

she smiles against your lips, cheekily pocking her tongue in before she pulls back and tugs on the bottom of your shirt. "we'll see about that, baby."

"oh yeah?" you hum. you pull him into another kiss, smashing her nose on your cheek as he tilts his head sideways. he finally lets his tongue slip in, and you taste the faint flavor of the fruit snacks she ate earlier.

When Ellie comes out to Joel he mentions it to Tommy who’s like “wait she just told you?!” And Joel finds out that she told Tommy a while ago. He tries not to feel jealous, but he does ask him if there was a reason she told him first. Like if he said anything or did something wrong. Tommy just kinda laughs and is like “nah, I’m her cool uncle. Plus, I mentioned my high-school boyfriend, so that helped.” And Joel’s just “you had a high-school boyfriend?!” Which Tommy finds hilarious for some reason. He replies “You seriously don’t remember? You walked in on us… y’know…” and Joel’s so confused. And Tommy just keeps talking, saying “you told him to leave, and I asked if you were mad at me, but you said I didn’t do nothin’ wrong and just to be more responsible from now on. Bella Ramsey Drabble —-------------------------------------------------- I laid on the bed with a huff. I don’t know about y’all but having three days off back to back from work is so boring! It sucks even more because Bella has been working on a short film so I can’t even spend my time with them. I checked my phone and saw that Bella had sent me pictures from set. My smile grew larger and larger with every swipe. Bella is starring in a short film called ‘Requiem.’ My smile quickly got swiped from my face once I saw a photo of Bella and their co-star looking awfully close. They were standing close together and Bella had one hand up into a peace sign while their co-star had one arm wrapped around Bella's waist and the other hand into a peace sign. I locked my phone and put it faced down on my bedside table.

“They're just doing their job y/n, don’t get jealous.” I muttered to myself. Bella should be home in another hour. I’ll cook dinner before they get home.

As soon as I finished cooking dinner I heard the front door open.

“Darling?” Bella called out.

“In the kitchen!”

I heard footsteps from behind me. “Mm smells good in here.” Bella came up from behind me and wrapped their arms around me. They slowly started to place kisses on my neck. I hummed at the feeling. “Ready to eat?” I ask them.

They slowly started to move their right hand down towards my center. “Hey! That is not what I meant you little freak.” I moved their hand and placed it back on my waist.

“Well darling, you never specified. I was simply doing what came naturally to me.” They smirked. “Also I missed you. I couldn’t stop thinking about you.”

I turned my head towards them, “Oh really you missed me? Didn’t seem like it.” I scoffed.

Bella turned my body around to look at me. “What do you mean?”

“You just seemed awfully close to your co-star in that picture you sent me is all.”

“It was just a photo. You seriously aren't mad over that are you? I had no idea that she was going to put her arm around me. We didn’t even have time to think about what pose we were going to do before someone was snapping our photo. Photos that I really wanted to take because I was so excited to show you.” They explained. I groaned, “I know I shouldn’t be mad but seeing her close to you just made me…”

“What? Made you wanna give me a kiss?” They puckered their lips.

“More like it made me want to strangle her.” I shrugged my shoulders while giving them a peck.

They gasped, “Oh my goodness. My lover needs some serious help.”

“I do not! I have this feeling totally under control Bells. Trust.”

“Alright if you say so.” They leaned their forehead against mine.

“I really wanna kiss you right now.” Bella whispered.

“Then do it. I was so terribly bored without you today. I needed my Bells with me.”

“You have me. I’m right here.”

Bella leaned up and gave me a kiss. I smiled into the kiss. I grabbed their waist and pulled their body closer to mine. While doing so they slipped their tongue into my mouth. I let out a moan. They pulled back and slipped their hand into mine.

“What are you doing Bells?”

“Obviously I’m taking you to the bedroom.”

“But what about dinner?”

They rolled their eyes, “Either we eat food or I eat you. Your choice.”

I playfully thought about it, “I did work hard cooking for you today.”

“You are so terrible. I should call you my little housewife. Let me repay you for working so hard for me, yeah?”
