“Spreading your legs so nicely for me. Just like you did on the track today,” Max whispers in his ear as he settles between Charles thighs. He punctuates the statement by licking a wide, hot strip against his neck. Charles shudders despite his fury, knotting his fingers in Max’s hair in retaliation.

P (one degree of separation)

Presenting… Charles is presenting. Oscar’s eyebrows shoot up, too stunned to say anything. Charles only ever does this when he’s deep in his heat, never outside of it. But his eyes aren’t lying, there’s his omega with his hips high in the air, offering up his cunt to Max Verstappen like he’s desperate for it.  “Oh, fuck Charlie,” Max sounds just as desperate as he scrambles to get in place behind him. 

R (dark medieval au, roar of the fire)

Ragged little gasps keep escaping him as Max kneels over him and stares, his eyes burning with greed as they run over Charles’ naked, trembling body.  He is trying so hard to be brave, to hold on to his rage, but he feels weak, pinned in place under Max’s gaze and the eyes of everyone staring at them through the thick lace curtain- Fred, Lord Horner, Sir Lewis, Lord Sainz… He screws his shut, trying hopelessly to hide from it all. A broken whimper still slips from him as he feels Max’s rough, calloused fingers begin tracing delicate lines along his collarbone.

I (get him back!)

“I do not know how to flirt under pressure,” Kimi hisses at Max as he’s not so subtly shoved forward. “Figure it out, it is not rocket science” Max hisses back, “Compliment him, tease him, shit like that. Get his attention.” With that Max pushes Kimi forward forcibly enough that he stumbles straight into Ollie’s back. His friend turns around in surprise as Kimi rights himself, apologizing even as he glares at Max, who is quickly walking away to go meet up with Norris. “All right, mate,” Ollie asks him, that beautiful, easy smile still making Kimi’s stomach swoop even after all the time.

N (hit it like rom-pom-pom-pom)

“Need you,” Max groans as he watches Charles’ hand move between his legs, “Need to touch you, be inside you. Let me baby, please.” “You can help,” Charles offers softly, gasping as he finds a good angle.  Max doesn’t need to be told twice, quickly reaching down to nudge one his fingers in next to Charles’, relishing the tight heat of his body and the way Charles squirms at the added stretch.

G (god rest my soul (i miss who i used to be))

“God, oh God- Charles is this really- Are you really-” Ollie can’t get a full sentence out, his expression a beautiful mixture of awe and disbelief. “Shhh, it’s okay” Charles tries to assure him, even as his hands shake as he tugs down Ollie’s leggings, “I want to. You earned it.” “I did,” Ollie’s voice is high and tight, giving way to a sharp cry when Charles circles a hand around his cock for the first time. Ollie bucks wildly into his grip and Charles realizes he’s big. “First points of the season. You deserve this,” Charles whispers, leaning up to kiss him one more time before he sinks down to his knees, moving quickly so he doesn’t have time to think about what he’s doing.

ok so i'm regressing (back in the supergirl fandom). happy december folks. and i would just like to say -- if you still believe the super friends were the Good Guys™, then you are wearing BLINDERS. like ok, the whole point of the show is that there are no such thing as Good Guys and Bad Guys. Austria 2019 is something I go rabid over, no matter what type of tone the story has. I've basically decided it's going to be my birthday fic for myself haha.

It will be a little darker and more intense than some of my other stories.

Premise: Charles goes to confront Max after the race, things go a lot further than either of them were expecting. Max is elated, but Charles is rather shell-shocked and upset with how much he liked it. They deal with the aftermath, specifically with Max's growing fixation on Charles.

Snippet under the cut (might be entirely rewritten tho):

"Fuck off, Max," Charles hisses. He's had enough of this, he doesn't need to listen to any more of Max's backhanded compliments or his insults, and he especially doesn't need to be this close to him, not with the way it's making his heart flutter in his chest.

He tries to shrug off Max's grip on his elbows, fully intending to throw him one last hateful look and storm out of the suite, with a slam of the door for good measure. He'll go back to his hotel, run on the treadmill until he's close to passing out, and then fall into bed, exhausted enough that he'll forget his fury and how it feels when Max has his hands on him.

But Max only tightens his grasp, a frown suddenly replacing his cocky smirk, "Come on, don't back down now."

"I said fuck off," Charles snaps, squirming in Max's hold, decidedly ignoring how he could just shove him again to break away if he really wanted to.

Max just pulls him closer, making Charles breath catch as they're suddenly chest to chest, "We're not done talking."

"Yes we are."

"Don't walk away," there's a strange new thread in Max's voice, the arrogance gone and replaced by something that sounds strangely desperate, "You came here for a reason, no? Be a man and stand up for yourself."

thinking about rafayel and other lemurians having to process how the people on land arent too different. how most people of any sort function around the same basics despite the various contrasts very much still present or resulting. fear of death, fear of the unknown, fear of pain, wish for home, need for anchors, curiosity that can be naive or reckless or rude but sometimes also in hopes to connect or fix or preserve. how it's mostly just smaller yet more powerful portions that manage to get carried away into the worst things. how hes so much bigger than all this, the so called protector of all the briny breeze touches, but he cant win if he doesnt see what it's like as a smaller fish. cant lead people without understanding them and being like them- a person, that is, with so many greys and developments- or else maybe he'd have ended up like the seemingly static strict thing that is astra. who knows. rafayel not being a perfect god or even a full one but this fact being what makes him a good or at least better one. blurred/bent boundaries and mostly everyone being just some guy trying their best or what they think is best.

Having listened to all the Hi Nay recaps, if I'm following this correctly, Mari died as an infant and came back (we are told only gods can revive the dead) and ever since then she's worn a protective charm she's not supposed to remove and prays to different gods than her mother. She's not supposed to be around too much death with the implication that too much exposure will have Consequences. When her other soul (sleeping soul? I forget the exact term) starts narrating, she mentions there's a third entity in there with them. I have not connected the dots but I am looking at them thoughtfully.
