I was talking with this girl in my history class and i went “oh yeah, isnt it international day of solidarity with the Palestinian people?”

she kinda looked confused and asked “how did you know I’m Palestinian?” So i explained she mentioned it a couple weeks back. She seemed extremely fucking happy to be able to talk abt this, so i let her talk as much as she wanted to, pitching in once in a while to get a response of “EXACTLY!”

she told me how happy she was to be able to find someone agreeing with her, and when i asked how no one else had, she said everyone either wasn’t speaking up or was pro-israel.

This is the fucking bare minimum!! And she hadn’t found ANYONE to talk to.

Talk to people you know!! She looked so relieved at someone LISTENING TO HER!! She has family IN GAZA RIGHT NOW that have been shot, and cousins killed in the 2000’s. Her whole family is in gaza. One of the most hypocritical, frustrating things is that many many people who claim to be kink positive, against censorship, and against the notion of thought crimes being equatable to real crimes, who are even positive towards objectum and otherkin, STILL pick and choose what kinks and paraphiles (if any) they deem acceptable based purely on their own personal preferences and blind disgust. The act of attraction is itself not a moral thing. It's not good or bad it just is. Any person has the capacity to be cruel and abusive regardless of who/what they're attracted to, is it truly so hard to assess a person based on their actions, and not assumptions based on your (pretty much inherently biased) snap reaction? It's like people forget that you can be attracted to something and not uncontrollably fuck it. Do you think every person who is attracted to anyone/thing goes around fucking every single thing they think is attractive? Have you actually researched the paraphiles you're so against, have you taken the time to form an educated opinion, taking care to gather information from multiple sources? Have you checked to see if they're reputable?
